#having ocs is not a common thing for me

Woke up with them on my mind. Follow up to this post (because I didn't want to keep adding onto that when this kind of developed into something else)

Basically, SIX au where Bear and Lena have kids (originally, I thought it'd just be one, but in one of those just popped into my head ideas, they have 2, both girls), but they're broken up now because Bear realised that Lena didn't want him for him, she just wanted a father for her children. And he leaves after some helpful words from a stranger who hears him ranting to Alex about the situation make him realise that he's not happy anymore. Said stranger is new in town (going back to school), named herself Libby and is also pregnant. And she forms a firm friendship with Bear and the entire team. All of that, and more detailed in the post linked above.

New additions. Libby gave herself the last name Pierce. Also, her baby is going to be called Emily.

Also, Alex has done the sensible thing and is not operating anymore, but he's still in the Navy. This because it allows him to be part of the team still. And also because with him being home more, he gets to be around more, while Libby is prepping to have the baby. Especially after the scare, even though everything is fine so she's probably trying to say that she doesn't need people fussing over her. But she's on her own and really does want and need the support at the time.

But most importantly, because Alex is around all the time, people are going to assume that he's the father. He's a little shit who probably just doesn't deny the fact either. Which probably earns him more than one smack on the back of the head from Libby. And Libby doesn't talk about Emily's actual father. The boys don't even know his name, don't know anything about him other than the fact that he died in a car accident when Libby was barely pregnant and that didn't much like him before that anyway, but she doesn't talk about him and they're not pushing.

Emily being born when the boys are out on a mission or deployment and they immediately figure it out because Libby isn't there at the post mission/deployment get-together. And then some of Emily's first visitors are a stream of Navy SEALs. Libby crushing Alex’s good hand while she's having contractions and then crying apologies at him (it's fine, still hurts a lot less than getting shot). And then when the boys come to visit, everyone pivoting to assuming that Bear is the dad because he's so soft and gentle with Emily and his eyes are so full of tears (he just loves babies) and Libby cries seeing that the way that she didn't when the rest of the boys held her. Bear utterly panicking whenever someone asks him if it's true, though, and his stammering while trying to explain that, no, he's not, is adorable.

Absolutely no feelings beyond friendship with Libby and Alex, but they do bicker like siblings

ETA: when I say Libby is new in town to go back to school, I mean an advanced degree, not like regular college. So she's closer in age to the boys, but still maybe a few years younger, not like a young adult

I think one of the funniest things about the priorities of my creation is that in a mech I am excellent at my job, while out of my mech I am a mess of genetic mistakes. You would think I would be any kind of useful out of a war machine, but my vision is actually quite poor even with ocular implants and I require mobility aids to get around outside my mech. I suppose physical fortitude isn’t so important as mental fortitude for a thing like me.

might sound weird to say as a person with a couple ocs who have Big Horrible Event(s) in their backstories or as a person who has like 3 ocs total bc he sucks at writing and as a person who hopes their ocs arent too Boring with [the thing im about to mention] but the thing about writing [characters] and [people] is that like.

any little thing a person experiences can take up their whole existence... its actually something "fun" to experience as i meet new ppl and do more things. My friend had something happen that she'll be talking about forever. I had several things happen last year that ill never stop talking about, some of which other ppl think werent that bad actually. In the same way I'll forever remember about the way my sister accidentally insulted me almost 10 years ago, it's really interesting and Fun to find and assign smaller things like that to characters...its really Real. some people's dealbreakers are other people's solvable problems etc etc

Oh yeah since Jojo exposed the Momina 8 children fiasco I should add that when Hayato realizes that his children don't have a tribe (its through your dad) that actually makes him distraught!!! Momina comforts him by reminding him they have their own...tribe...I'm gonna throw up. I'm gonna choke her with her own intestines!!!

I blacked out in anger and snapped in the tags but also this is so long (tags) so I'll add here...really considered them having 9 kids because I think it'd be very funny for the two oldest to look at their dad like he's a monster. :) they did when the twins were born when they were 16 and 15 but would it not be even funnier if they visit from college and it's love "surprise! Hooyo is pregnant (again)!!" :) unfortunately I said Momina would be 41 when the twins are born BUT IMAGINE? Maybe for Mafia hs au 🙄

The more I think of Tamka and Erevu’s relationship, the cuter it is

First off, the smart woman x dumb guy is one of my favorite couple tropes. It’s the perfect mix of comedic and adorable. Comedic cuz of the dumbass’s antics but adorable cuz you know they’re still there for each other

In crocodile standards, Erevu’s attractive in every way: beautiful, mature, graceful, nice voice, good fighter, and most importantly, intelligent. Everytime she walks, she gets a group of males (and lesbians) staring at her.

And she falls in love with the dumbest, most imperfect crocodile she has ever met.

She obviously doesn’t expect to. Hell, her original dream mate (though she’s perfectly capable of being happy without one) would be strong and intelligent since in her words “it’s the only way to survive”, only for her pupils to dilate at Tamka making a fool out of himself hfhghf

Yet Tamka’s the only one who really understood first hand how she felt about being seen for more than her beauty cuz he values brains more than anything else. Not only that, but he helps Erevu to take it easy once in a while and have a bit of fun, which she didn’t know she needed until she took a little ride on his back. It’s actually how she started to fall for him (he was already crushing on her). He’s a complete moron, but he’s super sweet and he’s the only one she can really be herself around other than her best friends

Just thinking about how Tamka looks at Erevu when she’s around with a stupid lovestruck grin on his face while Erevu sometimes chuckles at Tamka’s antics. Like they genuinely love each other with all their hearts 😭
