#haven't posted a finished drawing in a while

(posting here because i don't use twitter anymore) god i miss drawing my babygirl karamatsu sooooo sooo much. i'm like. dying because of all the work stuff i'm doing (it's really really cool though i'm the art director on a big project we're launching the world's first official university vtubers? very cool tehe) but i miss him. i really do.

i do have a little demo video from december of the final result of that whole AI chatbot integrated 3d VR karamatsu sim thing with my new kara model with face-mocap compatible face blendshapes lol but i couldn't even take the video myself so one of my 2 teammates had to help record footage of the actual thing working. since i haven't rly posted anything here while i did post a few updates on bsky as i was working on it i'll give to you guys first lol. BUT BE WARNED IT'S CRINGE LIKE REALLY BAD OK. pls be kind 🥺 i had to basically gut this project terribly because i was burning out so hard and it was the only thing i could afford to somewhat cut down because the only thing that suffered would be my own grades. luckily i still walked away with an A+ for this in the end, but i know i'm still deeply unsatisfied with this haha.

anyway, sorry for the boring personal blogpost. hope this little video of my terrible chatbot VR karamatsu makes up for it a bit haha. MAN I STARTED THAT DAMN VIDEO ESSAY ABOUT VR KARAMATSU ALMOST A WHOLE ASS YEAR AGO, FINISHED LIKE 80% OF IT, AND THEN PROCEEDED TO BURN OUT LIKE CRAZY and here we are. pain. i really hope i can get a proper break and come back to u babygirl. i miss u.
