Here’s the randomest thing ever, but here’s a post of me ranting how well NATM characters would be at bowling:

Jedediah: 3/10 if there was a bowling ball his size, he’d do ok?? But I don’t think he’d have the time and patience to learn how to bowl. If he got frustrated, I can imagine he’d try to shoot the ball.

Octavius: 5/10 I think he’d be better than Jedediah, for sure. A lot more practice and grace, but I don’t think he’d stay interested for long. Maybe a round or so, but he wouldn’t be a pro.

Teddy: 8/10 I think he’d be pretty decent, maybe even pick up bowling as a hobby. Not much to say here.

Attila: -1/10, would probably throw the ball with both of his hands, breaking the bowling lane. It’s ok, Attila. Not everyone was made for sports 💔

Ahkmenrah: 0/10 He’d be more interested in the served chicken tenders and fries made in the back instead of playing. Which— I totally respect

Larry: 10/10 He was a total bowler growing up. If he really tried, he could’ve gotten a scholarship with how good he was. Though, I think he preferred to keep it as a hobby. But he’s really good— I think he’d even know the technique where you use both of your hands. But— I may be biased since I’m totally not Larry Daley

Sacajawea 7/10 Similar to teddy, I think she’d be ok. Though, it might take her a moment to understand the rules of the game and such.

Easy

They say nothing in life comes easy

I trust this mysterious "they" and all of their supposed wisdom

I have no reason not to

On my couch I sit, not a week into the new year,

Head buried in my arms, dampening the cloth around my wrists

For nothing at all

No one had died, I haven't even stubbed my toe

Yet here I sit in tears, alone

Then I decide to open my eyes

Slowly but surely

Beside me rests a large rainbow stuffed animal

I just adopted him from the shelter with my mom

(His name is Gary, if you were wondering)

And I remember how my dog rests his tired head on the plush body

Melodramatic as I tend to be

Cuddling Gary, as I am a monster for not petting him

So, really, perhaps my dog has adopted him instead

I peer over to the fast food wrappers littering the side table

Our dishwasher broke and we do not want to make a mess

So, burgers every night it is

Call it a silver lining

My eyes land on our colorfully illuminated tree

Still shining past the holidays

Dressed head to toe in unique ornaments, each telling their own distinct story

From beautiful designs

To merch of various medias

To hand-crafted memories that only the ones who observe the tree hold dear

And I smile, though its time is overdue, it tells me, quite literally and forcefully, to look on the bright side

I glance up above our fireplace

Hiding in plain sight, I see him

Mr. Formaldehyde

A cutout of a glorious man who has had Mr. Clean's head delicately paper clipped onto his own

I chuckle at the abomination

The inside joke forever on our mantle

The absurdity, oddity, and peculiarity of the decoration we choose to display

Because, after all, "weird" is our motto

I pull myself from the harsh waters

Far to buoyant to drown

And I rethink what they have said

"Nothing in life comes easy"

Perhaps they and I have different definitions of easy

Or perhaps they aren't looking at it right

Either way, they seem like they'd be fun at parties.

being aromantic is like. hey btw you're going to live a life that is the culmination of most of society's worst nightmares. sorry lol ✌️ but then you turn around and take a really good hard look at it and it turns out that living in that nightmare is fucking awesome and you get to wake up every day and take that fear that other people have and laugh and hold it close until it's a great joy for you instead. and being happy is a radical act that you define instead of someone else. and you're sexy as fuck that's just a fact of life i don't make the rules on that one
