Ooc post
I'm sorry for the long wait, but my uni has been a bitch (5 tests last week) and 2 more the next. After Tuesday I have free time to draw and write more and that's when things should appear again
If anyone's hungry for whump (and doesn't mind gore or naked bodies) then I'll wholeheartedly recommend Blue Eye Samurai I watched recently. There are torture scenes, fighting while injuried moments and a lot of blood. Make sure to see if there's anything you would be uncomfortable with first. Stay safe drink water and have a wonderful day

The Pro-Ana Diet : 8 Different Meal Plans to Follow
By Mimo Varila
The Lunabelle Diet
The Lunabelle diet is a condensed version of the Ana Boot Camp diet, which is 40 days instead of the usual 50 days. It has more fast days and calorie variations. This is a more “doable” diet, as it comes with higher calorie restrictions, with days you consume between 100 to 800 calories. There are double fast days, though, so you have to prepare yourself for these. If not, you can consume 50 or 100 calories to stay safe if you aren’t able to fast this long. After 40 days, you will be able to lose up to 20 pounds or more!
The Rainbow Diet
This is a pretty interesting diet, as it entails you to consume one color of food per day, except for every Wednesday. Here is the meal plan:
Monday (white) :
Breakfast: Half an apple
Lunch: Half an apple
Dinner: One cucumber
Tuesday (yellow):
Breakfast: One banana
Lunch: One banana
Dinner: Half a cup of corn
Wednesday: Fast
Thursday (orange):
Breakfast: Half an orange
Lunch: Half an orange
Dinner: One carrot
Friday (red):
Breakfast: Half a cup of strawberries
Lunch: Half a cup of strawberries
Dinner: Half a red pepper
Saturday (purple or blue):
Breakfast: Ten blueberries
Lunch: Ten blueberries
Dinner: Ten raspberries
Sunday (green):
Breakfast: Half a cup of grapes
Lunch: Half a cup of grapes
Dinner: One cup of lettuce
The ABC Diet
If you have been following the pro-ana lifestyle of quite some time now, then you’re familiar with the ABC diet, which is known as the Ana Boot Camp. This is one of the most popular diets to follow, as it’s extensive and incredibly useful. However, it’s very challenging, and not many people pass it.
This grueling diet will yo-yo between 50 to 500 calories a day, with a fast every few days. The extreme calorie restriction will have you lose at least 20 pounds once you are done with the 50 days. You can eat anything in this diet, but make sure that it sticks to your limit.
The Five Bites Diet
Think of it as a mental gastric bypass surgery, where people staple their stomachs to feel full after just a few bites. This will take a lot of self-control, though, as you will only be consuming five bites of whatever meal you have.
I recommend that you follow this diet:
Breakfast: Five bites of oatmeal
Lunch: Five bites of a sandwich
Dinner: Five bites of pasta
It’s best to consume a lot of water or zero-calorie drinks to stay energized and hydrated while doing the diet. Freshly-squeezed lemon juice can work great, too!
The Vegan Model Diet
The vegan model diet is another effective and restrictive diet suitable for those who follow the vegan lifestyle. Think of it as the usual meal plan models would follow to get a flat stomach without any meat products!
Breakfast: One reduced-calorie bread and two cups of black coffee with zero-calorie sweeteners
Lunch: One large apple
Dinner: Eight baby carrots
The total number of calories consumed is only 200 calories. Follow this for a week, and you will be able to lose weight quickly. You can substitute meals with different fruits and vegetables if desired. Add your meal diet with some healthy powders. Check the green superfood powder to know more.
The Ana Atkins Diet
This is a personal twist on the Atkins diet, which is similar to the keto diet. Just make sure that you avoid any keto diet mistakes and consume too many carbs from fruits!
Breakfast: Three-egg white omelet
Snack: Baked white fish fillet
Lunch: Roast Chicken drumstick and a cup of salad leaves
Snack: 50 grams of prawns with garlic and chili
Dinner: Grilled Sirloin steak and a cup of salad leaves
You might think that this is a lot to consume, but it’s quite useful in burning fat quickly. By day three, you have less appetite, and your body is using ketones for energy.
The Russian’s Gymnast Diet
Irina Tschachina is a 5’6 Russian gymnast who only weighs 99 pounds. Wonder how she does it? Here’s a diet you can follow for ultimate weight loss and health. Those who follow this diet for a week can lose up to ten pounds!
Breakfast: A glass of apple or orange juice
Lunch: Fruit salad with a glass of fruit juice
Dinner: Green apple and a glass of non-carbonated water
Make sure that your fruit juices are freshly squeezed and free from any artificial sweeteners.
The Baby Food Diet
This is a pretty exciting diet, as it entails you to consume baby food, which is rich in vitamins and nutrients. I recommend that you purchase organic and vegetable-based baby food, which has fewer calories and more vitamins.
You can have baby food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Or, you can have an average healthy breakfast and consume baby food for lunch and dinner. Make sure that you get the 80-gram jars, which are made for weaning babies.
But do take note that these are only short-term diets that should not be done as a lifestyle change. There are many different side effects to pro-ana diets, as you are consuming fewer calories than your body needs, which causes some health risks in the long run.
Bonus Tips on Keeping Up With a Pro-Ana Diet
Now that you’re familiar with the different pro-ana diets, what are other ways you can keep it consistent? Here are some bonus tips to follow:
• Make sure to always keep track of your calories by using apps or other online tools available. Don’t take in more calories than what you burn to ensure weight loss.
• It’s better to consume a healthy breakfast to have better-eating decisions for the day ahead.
• Water is one of the crucial parts of the diet, as it doesn’t only fill you up but keeps you energized when restricting your calories. However, you should avoid drinking water in a single session, since this causes water retention.
• Small meals throughout the day are also recommended, which can have the body think that you’re eating enough to stay satiated and energized throughout the day.
• These are aggressive diets, and you will be deficient in many nutrients from the calorie restriction. Because of this, it’s imperative to take in vitamins. These will compensate for what you don’t consume.
• Sleeping is essential to gain energy and level out your cravings and appetite. If you sleep less, it can lead to a lack of energy and hunger, as well as a slow metabolism!
• If you want to stay encouraged while following a diet, then it’s best to find a diet buddy or to look in the mirror, which keeps you motivated!
• You can keep track of your macronutrients with online macro calculators to ensure you’re eating the right foods, in the right ratios, for optimal weight loss.
Pro-ana diets are aggressive but possible with the right tips and healthy food consumption. That way, you won’t have a problem with keeping the pounds off in the long run !
Hopefully, this article on the pro-ana diet gave you an idea of what you can do to stick with your meal plans.
So don’t wait any longer and check out any of these diets now!
Start your diet now !

Tuesday
pt 1 of the Jailbait series
So the lovely @grungyblonde put the seed in my trashy little brain about a jailhouse nurse!reader and my soft country boy Arvin, so here's what I hope will be the first of several connected one-shots where Arvin gets caught.
Words: 1100 ~ Content: mentions of murder, period-typical attitudes towards women, implied violence, implied abuse of power
Tumblr media
It's an ordinary Tuesday the first time you see him. You'd been briefed that a new prisoner was being transferred to the prison you're employed by. Death row - inmate convicted of the murders of four people, including a preacher. You shiver to think about what you'll see when you look into his man's eyes. Skimming over the paperwork in his file - not much in here, you muse - you note his young-ish age. Youth is no indicator of innocence, though. You have met more than one fifteen year old who was cold-blooded to the core, and prisoner A.R is older than that. A grown man.
You wait in the starkly white med bay for him to attend his medical. It's a requirement for all new prisoners, whatever their crimes and whatever their sentence. You hear the clink of the heavy chains prisoners wear, and turn when the huge metal door opens, keys clanging against the warden's belt.
This is the man convicted of four counts of murder, including shooting a preacher in cold blood, in his own church?
He looks tired. His hair is messy, hanging over his face. An early-autumn brown, it looks soft. Stubble of the same shade grows along his upper lip and jaw, perhaps a day or two's absence of a razor.
When his gaze meets yours, he inclines his head slightly, politely. "Ma'am." His honey-on-grits drawl skates along your senses, prickling you with awareness. No one who has murdered four people should sound like that, like sin made into sound.
He looks pale under the cheap prison strip lighting. There are shadows under his tawny, lion's mane brown eyes. He has a face of planes and angles, speaking of a poor upbringing and perhaps just enough food. His knuckles are scraped. He looks sad. He looks like he's seen a lot. Old eyes in a young face. You wonder if his countenance would change with a smile. Would it light him up from the inside? Would the smile reach his eyes, or would they stay sad?
These are not thoughts you should be having.
"Sit down," you urge.
The warden pokes him with his baton, none too gently.
"There's no rush," you add, for the warden's benefit. Warden Cole has always been heavy-handed, particularly with prisoners who are older, younger, or of skinnier build than the usual. Bastard likes to assert his dominance. You don't care for it.
"Thankyou, ma'am," the prisoner murmurs, clinking over and taking a seat.
You give him your name. "I'll be assessing you today before you enter your cell, okay? What's your name?"
"I'm Arvin, Arvin Russell." A muscle in his jaw ticks.
You ask him questions about his height and weight, whether he smokes or drinks - he does smoke - and what his diet is like.
Then you get him to remove the prison-issue plastic sandals and step on to the scales so you can check whether his estimates of his vitals are close to the mark. He weighs a little less than you'd expect, but he's not terrifyingly underweight, either.
"Any issues with bowel movements? Passing water?"
Heat creeps up his cheeks; you notice the slight flush. "No, ma'am."
"Good. Would you uncuff him?" You say to Cole. "I need to listen to his heart."
Cole frowns. "This prisoner is convicted of murder in the first degree, four counts."
"Thankyou, I've read his file and I feel quite safe with you here," you say, keeping your tone saccharine sweet.
Cole puffs up unnecessarily. You barely refrain from rolling your eyes at his peacocking. He makes a great show of swinging his keys, taking them off his belt and unshackling the prisoner - Arvin, that's his name.
"Now. take off your shirt for me," you instruct, gently.
Arvin's body is lean and lithe. It looks like a body honed from hard physical work. You can imagine him as one of the construction boys hired for the railroad building that's been going on in earnest nearby, connecting these backwaters to the rest of the state.
You take the stethoscope from your desk drawer and hook it into your ears, standing to cross to Arvin and press the little metal cup to where his heart beats. He smells faintly of the prison-issue soap and the detergent that all uniforms are washed in, and under that, the ghostly tang of cigarette smoke and a whiff of freshly cut grass.
You count the heartbeats, check the watch pinned to your blouse. "Good. Thankyou, you can dress again now."
He thanks you softly, and does so. It's no more than a second before Cole is back on him, cuffing the metal back in place.
"You're safe now," he says curtly.
"Was I not safe at any point?" you ask innocently. "Mr Russell, let's have a look at your hands. Scraped up a little, I see. How did that happen?"
He looks away. "Candy-ass boys beatin' up on my sister," he mutters. "She killed herself 'cause of them. I couldn't let 'em get away with it. Sweet Lenora never hurt anyone."
Your heart clenches. It could be a sob story, but your instincts say it isn't. "I'm sorry to hear that."
"Thankyou."
You dab some medicinal alcohol over the cuts. He winces, but doesn't make a single sound. You bandage his hand.
"If you need to see me, the Warden can arrange that, otherwise, I visit every two weeks for any checks that need doing, medication reviews and whatnot."
He nods. "Yes, ma'am."
You have the strangest urge to tell him to take care, but of course, you don't. You just look up at Warden Cole. "I'm ready for the next patient now."
He snorts. "You mean the next prisoner."
"Everyone who comes through these doors is a patient, Mr Cole, whatever they've done beyond them. Understood?"
He looks disgusted at taking backtalk from a woman, but this prison needs a nurse, and he knows it. "Yes, ma'am," he mutters.
You watch Arvin's hands curls into fists in his lap, and you see the violent streak in him. He doesn't like women being disrespected. You can well imagine him killing to protect his poor deceased sister.
Cole leads him away without another word. You watch him go, wondering if you'll see him again. Hoping you will, and feeling sick about it.
Four counts of murder.
Every day here, people surprise you with what they're capable of.

Summary: s/o who is hit on a lot but has comically hilarious ways to turn the advances down.
Characters: albedo, scaramouche, xiao
Warnings: swearing, crack, gn (albedo, xiao) + fem (scaramouche) reader mixed

"i only have a thing for smart guys, sorry!"
All afternoon, you had been trying to avoid this guy who would not leave you alone. It seemed to be his mission to try and swoon you the best he could, and he sure as hell was persistent. But with his persistence, came utter failure. He would never be able to win you ever, not if you were single, or even if he was the last man in Teyvat.
He was just too... Small-minded, reminiscent of many around you. Ununique, and an utter bore to be around.
"I'm sorry, I'm not interested." You stated once again, eyes diverting away from his dark eyes to scan the area for your significant other. Archons, you wanted out of this situation and away from this man right now...
"I'm sure we'd have a great time! Just one drink." He tried to reason, only falling on deaf ears choosing to close his annoying voice out. Your head shook in response, but you knew he wouldn't stop there though.
"I have a fresh bottle of Sir Ragnvindr's wine, ready to be popped open. So how about it?" He wondered, hand going behind his head to scratch at the hairs at the base of his neck.
"He and I are actually close friends, I can enjoy his wine whenever I wish." You noticed how his grin faltered and disappeared, a frown replacing it. You grinned to yourself, maybe his heart was broken enough that he'd give up and go away.
How close? He wanted to question. But he also wanted to remain hopeful...
"Ah... I presume he must be your significant other?"
"No, of course not. We're friends." His smile returned, you only scowled unimpressed. So, he would dare disrespect your significant other, but could never stoop that low when it came to the wine tycoon? How absurd.
What an absolute ass kisser, you thought.
"So,-" he started, but your loud sigh silenced him.
"Listen, I don't know how to say this, but I'll just keep it nice and short," He waited eagerly for your response, stomach bubbling with nerves for whatever you were about to confess to him.
The man watched you lean forward to stand on the tips of your toes, hands going to clasp behind your back, before grinning at him cheekily.
"I only have a thing for smart guys, sorry!"
scaramouche
Tumblr media
"would you like to be the strong man you believe you are and introduce yourself to my husband, or shall i?"
When Scaramouche stepped away to deal with some business in Liyue Harbor, you never thought he'd be gone this long.
He couldn't have become lost, no. He'd been here hundreds of times, so, knowing him he must've got caught up with a vendor, arguing without a doubt... He had a tendency to pick fights with just about anyone.
But his absence meant you were stuck sitting lonely on one of the benches by the water, giving men and few women the opportunity to try and claim you. With your intimidating husband by your side, no one dared to speak nor glance your way. Scaramouche would have their head, no matter the person and their status. But momentarily, he was nowhere to be seen, while a particularly irritating man tried to flirt with you.
"If you don't mind me asking, where are you from?" Said man wondered, slithering beside you on the bench, a little too close for comfort.
"Somewhere far." You raised your hand in the air, motioning in no particular direction, rather flaunting the beautiful gem on your ring finger, hoping he'd catch your drift before you or rather Scaramouche shut him down embarrassingly.
But he either didn't notice or care. So, he was confident he'd claim you, hmm? How laughable! He never stood a chance.
He hummed in thought. "Based on your attire, I'd say Inazuma." You didn't confirm nor deny but remained to stare into the distance at the sparkling water. He noticed your lack of care for him and opted to scoot closer in hopes of gaining your attention. This time you looked at him, he smiled.
"I actually leave today to return home with my husband."
The man's frown faltered ever so slowly before it tugged up once more. "Ah, you're married? I can see why, you're the most heavenly being I have ever seen." You cringed at his flirtatious comments, which did nothing but urge an unsettling feeling to uproot in your stomach. Were the men of this nation always this persistent, rude, and filthy mannered? You had once met a certain young boy with blue hair and he was nothing but kind to you during your last visit! But this man was different... He luckily must've never come across the sixth harbinger, or else he would've never dared speak to you at all.
"Your husband is one lucky man, but maybe he isn't so deserving."
"He's more than deserving." You snipped. He laughed. This must be some kind of game to him, how unfortunate.
"What kind of man is he may I ask? Surely, if he was so great he wouldn't leave you to sit pretty by yourself.”
"I don't think I should tell you." You hid behind your black shawl bashfully, speaking in a soft tone that spurred him to move closer.
"You must be ashamed." He sneered, you only smirked at his foolish comments.
"No, I'm actually not. But I don't think you want to know." You explained cheekily, eyes traveling down to your glistening ring. Out of the corner of your eye, you spotted the small-minded man puff his chest out as if he was trying to prove whatever imaginary strength he had was existent and worthy of winning your affections.
"Try me, there aren't many adequate men in this world, surely he isn't that great." He boasted, to which you scoffed at. How ironic, you thought. Was he speaking from experience, because he was one?
Turning to fully face the Liyuen native with dark hair, you asked, "Have you ever heard of a man named Scaramouche?"
He laughed, with the shake of his head. You chuckled, only encouraging him to laugh more. But what he didn't realize was that you weren't laughing with him, rather at him. You were mocking him for his foolishness.
"Maybe his official title will help you understand," You stated, moving closer to glare at him. "Number six of the Fatui's eleven Harbingers, Balladeer."
"Ring a bell?" You wondered.
He seemed oddly cheery for a man about to get his ass kicked in mere minutes. "Nope never heard of him!"
You hummed, pretending as if you were sad by this news. But honestly, you couldn't be more overjoyed. His embarrassment would be the highlight of your day, by far the most interesting interaction since your husband's timely departure.
"Aww, how unfortunate for you." You said nonchalantly, moving to stand, he mimicked you naturally. The man watched with a puzzled expression as you stepped closer to him, his entire being frazzled by how close you were. "Would you look at that! It seems as though he's right on time," You smiled mischievously, gripping the slender man's arms and spinning him harshly around to spot your hat adorning lover sauntering in your direction.
The Liyuen native didn't seem fazed at first, but then it slowly and eventually set in. You weren't sure if he actually recognized Scaramouche or if he noticed how unpleased your significant other looked, realizing he'd have to face a less than pleased husband to the woman he continuously tried to swoon. What a coward!
You grinned evilly, pushing his stiff body forward. He practically stumbled over himself.
"Would you like to be the strong man you believe you are and introduce yourself to my husband, or shall I?" You asked, finding great joy in embarrassing him before he did in the presence of your husband.
"I'm sure my introduction would be less than satisfactory! I could tell him so many things,"
"I'm not sure what he'd be more pissed at! The fact that you thought it was okay to flirt with me, or that you disrespected both me and him."
xiao
Tumblr media
"i live in natlan, but i travel to liyue often, so if you want to see me, come find me there!"
Today hadn't been going good at all, and to make matters worse, this woman would not leave you alone... Her compliments - rather shameless flirting - were easy to deal with at first. But now it was just annoying and disrespectful towards Xiao, your significant other.
She truly had no shame, and it was despicable. At first, you thought she was trying to flirt with Xiao, as she had sat oddly close to him when she originally approached. But only seconds later did you realize she only sat that close to rub in his face her flirtatious advances being sent in your direction.
Surprisingly, Xiao didn't even bother with her as he might've on any other day. You weren't sure why, but he'd simply scoffed and disappeared from sight. You'd have to ask him about that when you were calmed down, much, much later.
"All I'm saying is I think you're really cool, and I'd love-"
"You don't have any shame, do you?" You growled.
"I told you already a dozen times, I'm in a relationship."
"It looks like it's on the fence." She stated nonchalantly, hands clasping together in her lap. You stared at her, truly speechless.
You couldn't tell if she actually liked you or not because insulting someone and their relationship was not an indicator of their affections towards them at all. And even Xiao had his... grumpy moments, but he never once insulted you despite popular belief.
"Excuse me?"
"Oh no! I just noticed how your so-called boyfriend just... disappeared."
You wanted to yell that it was all her doing, but causing a scene was not what you wanted. Not right now in front of families, couples, and friends, all enjoying the beautiful sunny day, even if yours was going pretty crappy. Although your day was already ruined, you didn't have to ruin everyone else's around you.
"You don't know a thing about him or our relationship." You snapped, moving to stand and get out of her presence, but she followed you like she had been doing for the last thirty minutes.
"All I'm asking is for one date! Then I'll leave you be until then."
With a huff of annoyance, you halted and turned abruptly to face the woman. "One date?" You asked, eyes lighting up with mischievous intentions. She was pathetic to believe you would dare disrespect Xiao, it was truly laughable.
"Yes! That's all I ask." She smiled. You hummed, appearing as though you were thoughtfully thinking when you already had your answer chalked up.
"Alright..." Her smile brightened significantly, and she jumped for joy.
"I live in Natlan, but I travel to Liyue often. I'll be returning this tomorrow, so if you want to see me, come find me there!" You said sarcastically, nearly cackling to yourself when her smile widened. So she was persistent but oddly gullible. What a combo for someone trying and failing to win you over.
"Really?! Thank you!"
You hummed, turning around to saunter off.
"If you want to beat me there and prepare for our date, you should probably leave early! Maybe today," You hinted, to which she eagerly nodded.
The journey to Natlan for a foreigner can be long and strenuous! Better beat me there!" You explained with the wave of your hand. With that, you momentarily turned back around, moving out of earshot and vision of her happy laughs and jumps for joy. Only to turn back around when you were a good distance away from the annoying woman to see that she was running off in the direction of Liyue's exit.
You smirked to yourself.
How gullible. You weren't even from Natlan. You had never even visited the land! And you wouldn't be doing that any time soon...

Spencer and reader’s ages are undefined, but there is a gap between the two.  thank you all so much for the support! i really do appreciate it. check out my masterlist!
{***}{***}{***}
Going to the bar wasn’t exactly my scene. Sure, it was nice to kick back and have a drink after a long day. I’d rather be at home with a glass of wine and watching a movie. But when a friend I haven’t seen in a long time asks to go to the bar, I’m gonna go to the bar with her.
My eyes scanned the crowded room, searching for my friend who was no doubt already drinking. The room was filled with drunk people. I didn’t expect so many people to be drinking on a Tuesday night… who am I to judge though?
When I finally saw my friend, I rushed to her. She was sitting at the bar with a drink already in hand. I wondered how many drinks she had before I arrived.
The moment I appeared by her side, she let out an excited squeal before throwing her arms around my body.
“It’s so nice seeing you!” she squealed into my ears. I laughed as I carefully pushed her off my body, and tried to regain some personal space. “It’s been so long!”
“Yeah, yeah. Been busy. School and stuff starts this week.” I nervously laughed as I sat down on the stool beside her. She leaned over the bar as she called for the bartender.
“That’s right! School!” she exclaimed as she looked back at me. I looked away from the bartender and at my friend. “That’ll be fun!” she added, trying to sound excited, but epically failing.
“I sure hope it’ll be fun…. But it’s hard to say. You know, college,” I chuckled and looked down at the counter. The bartender placed the two drinks on the counter, pushing them towards us. My eyes widened once I saw the brightness of the drink. The brightness of the liquid was unnatural. So of course I was going to drink it. What’s the worst that could happen?
A couple hours had passed and the conversations between us seemed to flow fluidly. I was thanking God that that was the case because I don’t think I could do awkward drinks. I like to think I was concentrating on her and her words pretty well.
And then he happened.
A man walked up to the bar and looked right at the bartender. He held up one finger as he sat down behind my friend. He had an exhausted look in his eyes, which were hidden behind shaggy brown hair. Suddenly my concentration was out the window and I couldn’t take my eyes off the man. My friend definitely noticed too, but thankfully she didn’t comment on it.
Then he looked over at me, and I was met with honeyed hazel eyes. They were more intoxicating than my drink. A small smile grew on his lips when he realized he captured the attention from someone.
I just assumed he would have gotten his drink and returned to wherever he was sitting. But I was so wrong. Maybe the bar counter was where he was sitting and he just got here...
“So… What’s your type?” my friend asked, looking over at me with a small smile on her lips. I struggled to look away from the attractive man sitting just behind her. It was a relief when his gaze dropped from mine when my friend asked the question. But a small smirk grew on his lips as he, and my friend, waited for my answer.
“I… I, uh,” I finally looked away from him and down at my drink. The two black stir straws leaned against the glass, and I realized that I should probably stop drinking soon. My face grew really hot, and I couldn’t tell if it was from the alcohol I had consumed, or the thought of telling my friend my type in men I’m interested in, or even worse… That the type of guy I’m interested in standing right behind her…
“C’mon, can’t be that bad… Unless you’re like… A necrophiliac,” she laughed as she leaned closer to my body. I moved away from her before looking back at the man behind her. He was looking back at me, an amused smile on his lips. “Well,” she asked, slipping closer to me. I locked eyes on the man before licking my lips lightly.
“Older…” I made sure to be loud enough that I knew he would hear. I watched as he choked on his drink before looking over at me.
“Ooo! Girl,” my friend exclaimed as she moved closer to me, “How scandalous,” she whispered as she wrapped an arm around me, “How old are we talking?” she looked up at me. Her eyes were glossy, and I knew there was no winning this one.
“Is this really a conversation we… we should be having?” I asked, my voice shaky as I spoke. She looked at me with wide eyes.
“We talkin’ old enough to be ya daddy… if ya know what I mean,” she mused as she began falling into my body. The man behind her looked over at me, his smile telling me he was clearly listening in to our conversation. And he obviously enjoyed what was happening in front of him.
“Ye-No!” I cut myself off with a shout, “No! Not at all!” I continued, backing away from her body. I couldn’t tell if I was being serious or not, and something was telling me my friend and the man didn’t believe me either. “Wh-why are you suddenly…” I let my words trail off as my train of thought suddenly vanished.
“Because… You’re young, you’re single… And you’re… you know…” this time it was her words trailing off. I looked at her with wide eyes, my face getting hot again. “A virgin,” she said in a normal tone, even though I think she thought she was whispering. The man behind her choked on his drink again before slowly turning to face me and my friend.
“Will you shut up?” I whispered as I tore my eyes off the man and looked down at my friend. She sat back in her seat as she looked at me with a smile.
“OH!” she shouted as she looked down at her drink. She slammed the rest of it in one go before standing up, “I have to pee! Stay here! If I’m not back in 10 minutes, assume I went off with that hot guy.” She slipped off her chair before pointing somewhere in the bar. I looked over my shoulder and at a group of guys who were closer to our age than the guy behind her.
“O-okay,” my words stumbled as I carefully pushed her body off mine. I held back my chuckle as she stumbled away from me and towards the bathroom.
I turned back to the counter, my head dropping so I was looking at my drink. My fingers fiddled with the straws as I waited for my friend to return. The bright blue liquid sitting with ice wasn’t as good as it looked. Which was very unfortunate because I’ve had maybe two of them… Working on my third...
“Your friend… She’s rather excitable,” someone spoke from beside me. The seat my friend was once sitting in was now occupied by the man who sat beside her. I perked up and looked away from my drink. He was hunched over the bar, holding a small glass with an amber liquid.
I didn’t realize I was staring at him till he cleared his throat and looked back at me. I jumped, looking down at the bar. I didn’t exactly know how to respond to him, words not coming from my mouth properly as I struggled to speak. So, I shrugged and stared at him.
“Y-yeah, yeah she’s like that… Especially when she’s drunk… She doesn’t know how to hold her booze,” I laughed as I lifted my drink to my lips. I searched for the two mixer straws with my mouth, closing my eyes before taking a sip. “Y-you didn’t hear anything she said,” I asked, my words slurring slightly from nervousness, "Did you?" I added as I leaned on the counter. The man looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
“Uh, erm,” he looked back down at his drink, not directly answering my question. I sighed deeply as I planted my face into my hand, leaning against the bar.
“She was being really loud,” I laughed as slowly slipped off my stool and into his body, “Oh, sorry.” I looked up at him as I held onto his arm, “I think I should stop drinking,” I laughed as I recollected myself and moved away from the stranger’s body.
“It’s okay.” The man looked at me, helping me get back on my seat, “I’m going to get you water.” He looked between me and the bartender.
“Listen, listen, yeah, whatever, like so what, I’m still a virgin… I just have my bar set way too high for men,” I started as I turned to face him, “I should lower that bar and my standards,” I mumbled as I leaned against the counter. The man looked down at me with a raised eyebrow. Why did I think my friend would be embarrassing to me when I can just do it myself?
“Definitely getting you water,” he laughed. After a moment of silence, the bartender placed two glasses of water on the counter in front of me and the stranger. The man looked over at me before pushing the glass closer to me. “Drink it, you’ll feel better,”
“Is it safe, right? Like…” I let my words trail off, hoping he’d clue into my worries. He looked at me with raised brows, like what I had said was absurd that I would even suggest something like that.
“It’s safe… just water and ice,” he returned, his tone telling me he was mildly offended that I'd think he drugged water. But to be fair, he's a random stranger in the bar, talking to a girl who's had a few drinks.
“Thanks,” I muttered before lifting the glass to my lips. The icy coolness of the water hit my lips and tongue and I already felt a million times better. I couldn’t help but let out a pleased hum.
“Spencer... by the way,” the man finally introduced himself to me. I swallowed roughly as I looked up at him. My eyebrows knit together as I stared at him, my words tumbling from my mouth as I introduced myself.
“What are you doing here?” I asked, looking around the semi-filled room of drunken adults.
“After work drinks,” he spoke softly. He didn’t sound too enthused by after work drinks. Part of me wondered why that was… Maybe all his friends ditched him too.
“Sounds boring,” I laughed as I looked back at him, “My friend wanted to get drinks… But she wanted to catch up and to… Well, just drink,” I sighed as I leaned my entire body against the counter, “As you can see, she ditched me… Like always,” I scoffed before looking over at where my friend actually was. She was standing beside the cute guy, leaning close to him. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’d be gone with him the next time I looked over at her.
“Maybe it’s your turn to leave her at the bar.” Spencer watched as I lifted the glass of water back to my mouth. I nearly spat water all over the place with his words.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” I asked as I moved my chair closer to him. He seemed content with where I was sitting, and how close I was to him. To be honest, I wished I could be closer to him.
“Could mean anything you wanted it to mean,” he replied with a shrug. I stared at him for a moment, slowly leaning closer to him, but not getting too close.
“You’re right.” I smiled as I stared at him. He looked away from his drink and nodded. “Like going home before her to go to bed early.” I laughed. Spencer returned the laughter and shook his head.
“If that’s what you want it to mean,” he smiled at me. I rolled my eyes and shrugged.
“Nah, I don’t think I wanna go home yet,” I sighed, resting my head on my fist, and my elbow on the bar counter. We both stayed quiet for a moment, letting the silence carry our “conversation”.
“So… Older men…?” Spencer asked after the long silence. He looked down at me with a smug smile. I froze in my seat, my eyes on the glass of, now, ice in front of me.
“You did hear that conversation,” I lazily laughed as I looked up at him. I couldn’t help but nibble lightly on my lower lip as I looked at him. “Nah…” I looked up at him, feeling a small smile grow on my lips. Spencer looked down at me with a raised eyebrow and a sly smirk. “Maybe… Possibly… Definitely older men…” My head fell back in laughter. Spencer kept his eyes on me and his smile grew more amused than smug.
Spencer definitely met my standards in men. He seemed to be older than me, I wasn’t exactly willing to question that though. There was a certain… gentlemanly-ness to him that I infinitely enjoyed. He was definitely not like any other guy I’ve talked to. And he 100% wasn’t some 20-something-year-old guy who claims he has all the experience in the world but doesn’t. Spencer seemed very experienced, in what? Well, everything I guess. I could just sense it by the way he talked to me and the way he held himself.
“My last boyfriend was 10 years older than me, and the one before that was 7 years older…” I paused, staring at him. I wondered what he was thinking, and if he was thinking what everyone thinks… ‘This girl has totally got daddy issues.’ “I don’t have daddy issues,” I rolled my eyes as I gravitated closer to his body. I looked up at Spencer, my hand falling to rest on his thigh as I moved closer to him. His body tensed slightly at my touch. I felt a little bad at first, but when I went to move my hand, he stopped me. His hand reaching out to grab my wrist.
“Even if you did, I don’t think that would influence your taste in men.” He looked down at me. It was then did I realize just how close our faces were to each other.
“That’s good to hear because most people just automatically assume that I have daddy issues,” I murmured as I looked between his lips and eyes, “Although… It’s just a lie… I tell myself that because people always say women with daddy issues are sluts… But I’m not…” I whispered as I slowly moved closer to him.
“I didn’t think that,” Spencer furrowed his eyebrows and shook his head, “And I’ve known you for all of 45 minutes,” he laughed as he removed his hand from my wrist.
“Good,” I laughed lightly. “Can I kiss you?” my voice was a murmur as I looked into his eyes. Spencer licked his lips before parting them slightly. He didn’t seem too shocked or taken aback by my proposition. But when he spoke he was a little… nervous.
“If… If that’s what you want,” he whispered as he looked at me. I took a deep breath, my hand resting on his leg shifting a bit as I moved closer to him. Spencer took a shaky breath as I looked up at him.
“Do you want it?”
“I… I’d be lying if I said no, but I don’t want to take advantage of a woman under the influence,”
“It’s what I want,” I leaned even closer, not even an inch between us. I could feel his breath through my nose, that’s how close we are. “And I’m not under the influence,” I spoke, losing my confidence with each word. It was also an obvious lie too. We both knew how many drinks I had. “I’ve had two glasses of water and a handful of bar nuts, and it’s been like an hour since my last drink. I’m okay,” I whispered as I leaned totally on him.
Spencer looked down at me, his face still as his eyes examined my face. He slowly brought a hand up to my face, resting it gently under my chin. I smiled, feeling my face heat up again. When he squinted his eyes, I felt my heart rate spike.
“Please,” I begged. The bar and world around me simply vanished as I became so involved with Spencer and everything about him. In that moment, I was obsessed with him. “Kiss me,”
Spencer let out a soft breath of air from his lips before pressing them to mine. If the cool water didn’t sober me up, this kiss sure did. But at the same time, it was so intoxicating. Sure I’ve kissed men before, but this time it was… Different. Something else was going to happen tonight, with Spencer. But I couldn’t exactly place what it was that was going to happen.
My free hand lifted from its place beside me and went to his head, my fingers getting tangled in his hair. My other hand stayed put on his thigh, my grip slowly hardening on his leg. I tried to be quiet as a moan came from me, but I obviously failed. Spencer moaned right back into my mouth. I suppose I was happy he didn’t have an issue with our volume. Thank God the music was loud enough to drown us out.
When I pulled away from him, I nearly fell into the bar. Thankfully Spencer looked at me, his hand going to my hip to keep me from crashing into the counter. I looked up at him, taking a deep breath to get my head clear. But it was hard when I went back to him, my arms wrapping around his neck as my lips crashed back into his.
Spencer’s hands moved quickly over my back, resting on my hips, lower back. Anywhere he could reach, he would touch. He turned more to face me, allowing me to stand between his legs.
“We… We should stop… Before one of us does something we’ll… We’ll regret,” he whispered softly. Spencer pressed his forehead to mine as he spoke. I took a deep breath, my chest rising and falling quickly.
“No… No, we shouldn’t.” I looked up at him, my hands getting knotted up in his hair again. Spencer looked at me, a certain softness on his face. “I think… You… You meet my standards, Spencer.” I blinked at him.
Spencer quickly looked over at the bartender before fumbling for his wallet. I looked at him, watching him pull out more money than needed and shoving it in the bartender’s hands. He looked back at me, wrapping an arm around my waist and guiding me out. I smiled as Spencer dragged me out of the bar.
For the first time ever, I was leaving the bar before my friend… And I didn’t care about her.
Spencer looked back at me as we stepped outside and the semi-cool air of the night felt really good against my hot skin. Inside I almost couldn’t breathe, but outside it felt like it just came to me. It was so… refreshing.
I didn’t realize Spencer had called a taxi till he was pulling me to the vehicle. I looked up at him, blinking slowly as he pulled the car door open. Swallowing down the sudden excitement and fear mixture, I slid into the taxi before him.
I wasn’t scared because I was having sex for the first time. No, I was scared that I was going home with a strange man. Anything could happen, honestly. What if he was a murderer?
“Where to?” The taxi driver looked up in the rearview mirror at me and Spencer. I was the quickest to talk, giving him my address before Spencer could give his.
Spencer glanced at me, watching as I nervously played with the hem of my dress. When I glanced at him, I noticed that he was turned to face me more, whereas I was still, facing the seat in front of me.
“Are you okay?” he asked, his voice low and soft. I moved my head a little too fast as I looked at him.
“Mm, yeah, yeah, I’m fine. I’ve never done something like this before, that’s all,” I whispered, looking at him as I bit my lower lip. Spencer nodded as he looked at me, watching as I shifted closer to him.
“We don’t… We don’t have to…” Spencer started but stopped when I maneuvered to straddle his legs. He looked up at me as he carefully rested his hands on my hips. I swallowed roughly as I looked down at him. My hands pressed to his chest to hold myself upright, and my head occasionally hitting the roof of the taxi with every bump we went over.
“I know... I know we don’t have to do anything…” My heart slamming in my chest as I stared at him. I moved my hands from his chest to gently cup his face. His cheeks were stubbly, prickling at the palms of my hands as I held his face. With one final deep breath of air, I pressed my lips to his, this time a lot more passionately than before.
Spencer pressed his lips down my face, and neck while his hands roamed my body. My hands stayed planted on his face, keeping me in place over his body. I was so into him just… touching me that I didn’t even realize his hand had slipped in the front of my dress. His fingers gently stroking the skin on my inner thigh.
My head fell to the side as he pressed his lips down my neck more before going towards my chest. A huff of air came from my lungs as I pushed my hands through his hair.
“Uh… We’re, uh… at your destination…” The poor taxi driver spoke from his spot in the front. I moved Spencer’s head away from my body and I looked down at him.
“You… you pay him.” I stared down at him, feeling a certain embarrassment grow in my stomach, and across my face. Spencer quickly fumbled for his wallet before pulling out more money than necessary and tossing it to the driver. After he shoved his wallet back into his pocket, he wrapped his arms around my waist before exiting the taxi. A squeal came from my mouth as he carried me out of the vehicle and towards my complex.
“Spencer!” I screamed as my arms wrapped around his neck. A dizzying feeling took me over as a hard bulge pressed between my legs. I almost couldn’t hold back a moan.
He laughed before putting his lips back on my neck, nipping lightly on the sensitive skin. And I couldn’t help but let out a soft moan, almost a whimper.
“Keys,” Spencer muttered into my neck. I took a deep breath, my chest pressing into his body more.
“Unlocked,” I gasped as he nipped my neck again. He hummed as he opened the door and entered my home. He put my back down once we were inside, door shut and locked. I grabbed his hand and pulled him down the hall towards my bedroom.
Spencer pushed the door shut and pressed me against it, pressing his lips to mine like I was the last woman on earth. His arms were propped up on either side of my head, blocking me between the door and his body. It’s a good thing I didn’t feel trapped because I otherwise wouldn’t have allowed that to happen.
My breathing picked up when he pressed his hips against me. A pit grew in my stomach, and I couldn’t tell if it was actually anxiety or excitement. I was willing to bet it was both.
As the anxiety slowly melted away, a new feeling took over. A feeling of want and hunger. It was the type of feeling that could be satisfied by another person, or by my own doing. But, I knew I wanted it from Spencer. I needed it from Spencer.
“I need to feel something,” I whimpered against his lips as he pinned me against the door, “Please, I need to feel you.” My leg wrapping around his waist to pull him closer to me. I almost couldn’t breathe, my excitement getting the better of me.
Spencer looked down at me, a hand slowly coming up to my face, resting gently on my cheek. My eyes blinked slowly as he examined my face. I wondered what he was thinking, and if they were good thoughts. I only wondered what he thought because of how he looked at me. His features were soft and gentle like he was a child holding a fluffy, white dandelion. But the way his eyes moved across my face… They were hungry. Unlike his soft facial features, his eyes wanted to destroy everything in sight…
And I liked it. It should have scared me, right? A man looking at me like he was about to destroy my life… But the way he did it… I liked...
While he kept one hand on my face, his other hand was high on my upper thigh. His thumb carefully moving back and forth on the soft skin. I wonder if he knew how desperate I was beginning to feel. And he only fueled my desperation the further up his hand traveled.
A sharp gasp fell from my mouth as his hand finally moved against my underwear. His fingers were gentle as they ghosted over me. I wondered if he could feel how aroused I was through my underwear. Probably, it was impossible to hide that…
The way his hands touched me and held me was weird. He was still gentle, but there was a certain hastiness to it that I noticed. Like he was trying to claim something that wasn’t his.
“Please,” I whimpered as he trailed kisses down my neck. My chest began heaving as he began tracing his finger over my underwear. Okay, now he had to know how desperate I was. Spencer groaned once he pressed his lips back to mine.
“You’re so wet, Princess,” he whispered as his hand on my face fell to my chin. Another gasp came from me at the pet name. He took the opportunity to pull on my lower lip with his teeth. “I’ve hardly done anything,” he moved his head away from me and smiled, “Hardly touched you at all.”
I looked up at him, my lower lip pouted out slightly. It was hard to say what his next action was, but I heavily anticipated it. He smiled softly as his thumb pulled down my lower lip. I wasn’t sure what to do, but I yelped when he pushed my underwear to the side, and carefully slipped a finger between my folds.
Spencer looked down at me with a pleased smile. It was clear to me that he enjoyed my struggle. I placed my hands on his arms to keep myself up. And even though my body was pressed against the door, and I braced myself against him, my knees still wanted to give out.
I’ve never had another person touch me like this before. My previous relationships didn’t last long enough for them to do something like this. And, I’ve never exactly had this feeling before. Well, let me rephrase that, I have felt this feeling before. I’ve never felt this way from another person. I’ve masturbated before, after all I’m lonely, not Catholic. But, the feeling happening because someone else is causing it.
“Do you like it when I touch you like this?” Spencer whispered as he slowly pressed a finger into me. I looked up at him and nodded as I pressed my lips together. “Use your words,”
“Yes, it feels so good… s’good, Daddy,” I whimpered as I looked at him. I swear I saw the corner of his lips twitched slightly. Did my title for him do to him what it did to me? It was obvious he liked it.
Spencer stared at me for a moment before harshly pressing his lips back to mine. It felt as if he was taking the breath right from my lungs with everything he was doing. His hand between my legs moved a little faster, my hips grinding down on him in reaction.
“Say it again,” he murmured against my lips. The way he moved his face caused our noses to squish together. My heart was slamming in my chest and I could hear it in my head. It felt like at any moment it’d break out of me.
I softly yelped when he carefully inserted a second finger in me. His pace quickened slightly and I couldn’t concentrate on anything.
A tension grew in the pit of my belly, and slowly grew as the seconds ticked by. I wasn’t sure how long I’d make it till the tension cracked. I wondered if Spencer sensed that too.
I removed my hands from his arms and wrapped my arms around his neck to hold him closer to me. It was so hard to hold back the soft whimpers and moans I was feeling getting trapped in my throat. Although, Spencer seemed to enjoy my struggle.
It became more of a struggle the stronger the tension grew. It was close too.
“Say it again.”
“I’m s’close, Daddy,” I whined, my head involuntarily falling to my shoulder. Spencer looked down at me before moving to press his lips to my neck. His lips attaching to the base of my throat before sucking gently on the sensitive skin.
Again my body reacted by trying to get closer to him. The closer I got to him, the faster he went. I could tell that he was trying to bring me closer to the edge, to finish the moment.
“Let go, it’s okay,” Spencer whispered. I swallowed roughly, my head falling forward onto his shoulder before my body slowly fell into his. It was hard not to stay quiet, my sounds getting louder as I finally finished.
I stayed against his body, trying to recollect my breathing for a moment. Spencer rested a hand on my back, rubbing soothing circles on my shoulder. And after I had my moment, I stood back up, leaning against the door behind me.
Spencer looked back at me as he pulled his hand out from my underwear. He looked down at his hand, more specifically the two fingers he just had in me. I nearly lost my balance again when he put those exact fingers in his mouth. And it didn’t help at all when he moaned.
“You did so good, Princess.” He looked at me with a soft smile. Part of me was worried that was all we were going to do. Sure it was nice, but that was that the end of it?
He cupped my face again before pressing his lips back to mine. His arms were wrapped around my body before he led me towards my bed. But I didn’t realize we were going to my bed till the edge of it hit the back of my knees.
A breath of air was knocked from my lungs the second my back collided with my bed. I looked up at Spencer, watching as he fought to take his jacket off. But when he finally did get it off, he was back over my body, his lips on mine while his hands roamed my body. My fingers quickly unbuttoned his shirt, and his hands were pushing up my dress. His touch was like wildfire across my body, and it felt near impossible to breathe.
“Please, Spencer,” I whimpered as his lips reattached to my neck. My eyes fluttered shut as he gently sucked a spot on the base of my neck. His hands pushed the top of my dress down, making it sit around my hips.
"Tell me what you want, Princess," he spoke against my skin.
"You… I just need you…"
It was really… strange. I had just met him not more than 2 hours ago… and I couldn't get enough of him. Even though I knew this would be the only time I'd ever see him, I never wanted the moment to end. I needed him more than I needed air, it felt like. I needed the night to last as long as possible.
Spencer looked down at me for a moment before getting off the bed. I had to hold back my laughter as he struggled to take his pants off. And after throwing his shirt to the ground, he was back over me, his body between my legs. My chest tightened, and at the same time, my heart sped.
I tried not looking further than his neck. But it was so hard. Did I want to see what he looked like before anything happened? Or would it make me want to back out?
I shouldn’t look...
“Will it hurt?” I brought my eyes to look up at him. I wasn’t exactly scared. I was more worried about it hurting than anything else, I think. I wanted this.
“Maybe for a moment, but not too long,” he whispered as he brushed his thumb over my cheekbone, “If it hurts too much we can stop… But you have to tell me,” he spoke so softly.
“I can do that,” I whispered, keeping his eyes on him. My arms wrapped around his neck as he pressed a soft, yet passionate kiss to my lips. His hips slowly started to lower towards my sex. That was when my breathing picked up, and my chest heaved slightly.
“It’s okay, you’re doing such a great job,” he whispered against my lips, “I got you.”
A soft wince came from my mouth when he carefully entered me. My fingers knotted in his hair, gently tugging it as he slowly kept going. I struggled to take a deep breath. My head fell back and my lips opened.
“Spencer,” I whined, finally allowing air to enter my lungs, “You’re so big,” I moaned as I pressed my head into my pillow. One of my arms fell from his body and landed on the bedding beside me. My hand gripped the bedding.
“You’re doing a great job, Princess,” Spencer whispered as he grasped my hand and held it. I looked up at him and nodded lightly. “You’re okay?”
“I’m okay,” I whispered and stared at him. After a moment, he carefully moved his hips, and soon after fell into a steady rhythm.
“Please… Please don’t stop doing what you’re doing,” I gasped. I slowly ran my hands up his chest to his shoulders before wrapping my arms around his neck. Spencer looked down at me, his eyes half-closed as he stared. “It feels so good,” I whimpered as he started to slowly move his hips.
My legs tensed for a moment when he bottomed out in me, and I could feel the wind being knocked out of me. Spencer looked down at me as he brought a hand to rest on my cheek.
Spencer grabbed my hand and moved it to rest against my belly. An unfamiliar bump hit my hand through my stomach and caused me to gasp and look up at him. Spencer smiled and nodded lightly.
“Do you feel how deep I am?” he whispered softly.
“You… You’re…” I took a deep breath as I stared at him. He pressed his lips back to mine. His movements hastened and he pulled his hand away from mine, moving it between us and to where our bodies met. A small whimper fell from my mouth, again, as he began rubbing a finger on the already sensitive bundle of nerves. “Daddy,” I whined as his hips quickened for a moment before faltering.
I cried out as an unfamiliar warmth spread throughout my body. Spencer moaned into my ear. My legs were wrapped around him, clinging to him as he rode out our highs together. And, as I came, I couldn’t help but moan out his name.
My chest was heaving as my breathing tried to catch up with the extreme movements I was just doing. I couldn’t move my legs off him. I wasn’t ready for him to leave me just yet.
“Don’t move…” I gasped, looking up at him, “Please, Daddy… stay inside me…” I cried as he began moving away from me. My hands gripped his arms, holding him above me. Spencer looked down at me, his eyes glued to the way I squirmed beneath him. There was such an intense gaze in his eyes as he looked at me, I wasn’t sure what to do.
He lifted his hands and rested them on my cheeks. The way he held himself over me without actually crushing me was impressive. What was even more impressive was how he carefully pressed his hips back to mine.
“It’s okay, I got you,” he whispered, brushing the apple of my cheek with his thumb. I stared at him, my chest quickly rising, only to fall just as fast. It felt hard to breathe, my body still feeling full with him. “You did such a good job, Princess,” he pressed his forehead to mine.
I didn’t even realize I was crying till Spencer’s thumb moved across my cheekbone. I looked up at him with wide eyes.
“Are you okay?” Spencer whispered as he kept his eyes on my face.
“I’m good. I’m okay. I promise.” I wrinkled my nose and nodded. Spencer smiled softly and returned the nod. “I’m-I don’t know why I’m crying,” I laughed lightly before sniffling my nose, “I’m sorry.”
“Sex can be an emotional thing for some people. And since this was your first time, it was an emotional experience. You’re okay. You don’t have anything to be sorry for.” Spencer reassured. I stared at him and nodded, agreeing with what he said. “I’m going to get you water and a wipe or something.”
“Uhm… Yeah that’s okay… I guess. Bathroom is over there. I should have a cup in there. And there should be paper towels too.” I nodded as I gestured towards the bathroom. Spencer pecked my lips one last time before pulling away from me and leaving the bed.
‘It’s just a one-night stand,’ I kept telling myself just so I wouldn’t forget what this really was. And, in the morning, I’d never see him again.
{***}{***}{***}
My body jerked slightly when I woke up. An arm was wrapped around my middle, and the body that was connected to the arm was close to mine. Her head was resting on my chest, her ear right over my heart. She, and like my surroundings, were unfamiliar.
“Crap,” I whispered, looking down at the girl and her sleeping form. She hummed as she nuzzled her head more into my chest. I pulled on my lower lips as I carefully pulled her arm off mine. I had to be quick as I slipped out of the bed.
Usually, I wasn’t the type to just sleep with someone and then leave them the next day. To have a one-night stand, if you will. If today wasn’t the sort of day it was, I’d stay with this girl till she woke. But I had to leave to get ready for a new semester at the college.
I quickly grabbed my shirt and pants, throwing them on my body as I quietly and quickly left her apartment. My feet dragged quietly across the ground as I got closer to the front door. I pulled the door open at just the right time. Or maybe it was a bad time.
A young woman was standing with a carrier filled with coffee cups, her fist was lifted like she was about to knock. Our eyes locked before hers carefully looked down my body, lingering in spots that made me very aware.
“Holy shit,” she stared at me with wide eyes, “She wasn’t joking when she said she likes older men,” she stated, the shock in her tone was so apparent that it left me in shock. It was her friend from last night.
“I-I’m sorry.” I looked at her with furrowed brows.
“You’re old enough to be her father,” she spoke before pushing past me. I turned as she entered the apartment. “She’s got balls of steel to fuck a guy like you,” she spoke as she set the carrier on the coffee table, “But, I’m happy she did… Hope her first time was good,” she chuckled before winking at me.
“I-I have to go,” I nodded before leaving. I pulled the door shut. I tried not to linger in front of her home for too long. She’d probably be awake soon, and I really didn’t want to stick behind.
I kept my head low as I ventured on my walk of shame to the closest coffee shop. And then, from the coffee shop, I’d get a taxi to return home… To return to my home.
The second anyone finds out I had a one-night stand, I’m dead. I’m leaving. I could only hope it stayed between me and those two girls.
{***}{***}{***}
I looked over at my coworker and nodded, only half paying attention to what they were saying. Which, in turn, made me feel bad. This morning is not my morning and there were only so many reasons why.
Then I looked across the grounds, looking at all the new and familiar faces returning for a new semester of classes. My eyes landed on a familiar girl walking beside a friend. She was laughing and smiling at whatever her friend said.
“Fuck,” I muttered as I stared at the girl. Then she looked up and saw me. An embarrassed look grew across her face as her gaze fell from mine. I kept my eyes on the girl across the campus for a moment longer, long enough to notice that the friend she was with had spilled coffee over her shirt.
“I have to go…” I grimaced as I looked at my colleague. They looked back at me before slowly nodded. I kept my head low as I walked back towards the building and towards my lecture hall.
Thankfully I was the first and only person in the room. Enough time to prepare over everything. To free my mind of… of her and what we had done last night. But oh dear God, it was so hard.
I thought I had a lot of time on my hands, seeing as the class didn’t start for 5 more minutes. I thought it was bad when I saw her across the campus. Then she entered my lecture hall, clearing her throat to get my attention.
She introduced herself like I had no idea who I was. As if this was the first time we ever met. Maybe she forgot? But she definitely wasn’t drunk enough to forget. I wouldn’t have taken advantage of someone wasted as Luke or Derek would say. She was lucid, I know that much. Hell, she was able to give the taxi driver her address.
“Spencer… Reid… Professor Reid is fine... Reid... Doctor Reid. I'll-I’ll answer to pretty much anything,” I rambled, feeling as if I couldn’t stop myself from talking. She looked at me with a knowing smile, and I wondered if she thought ‘Oh, I know you’ll answer to anything… Daddy,’ That’s probably a bad thing to think, right?
“Oh! It’s wonderful meeting you, Professor Reid,” she kept talking as if she didn’t know who I was.
“Pleasure meeting… Meeting you too,” I paused with a forced smile at her, “Can’t wait to have you in my class.” I stared at her. The way she stared at me confirmed that she was pretending that she didn’t know me. I thanked God or whatever other Deity was out there that she was pretending. I don’t think I would have been able to survive if she acted like we knew each other.
“Can’t wait to be in your class.” She nodded at me before going to the first seat in the front row. I stared at her for a prolonged moment, noting the way she crossed her legs at her ankle, and looked down at her notes. She held her pen between her thumb and forefinger, the end of it just barely between her lips. I couldn’t stop hating on myself for just leaving her this morning.
Then I noticed she was staring back at me. She had a smug smile on her lips as she looked at me. It felt as if she was reading my mind as if she knew every thought that had passed my mind from the moment she entered my lecture hall.
‘Shit,’ I thought as the memories of last night forced themselves to the front of my head. All the things I said to her last night stood in the spotlight. The idiot part of me that said the stuff about impregnating her and how she kept calling me daddy stood out loud and clear. I broke this poor girl, and it was too late. And the worst part about it is… I’d do it again if I had the chance.
My pants tightened and my face grew hot. How the fuck was I supposed to get through the day? Let alone this semester?! That’s the thing I wasn’t supposed to do.
I was happy when the end of the class came. Everyone stayed in the room for a moment, bantering with each other for a moment before leaving.
I kept my eyes, and head, low as all the students filed out of the room. A few people stayed around to ask me their questions, or give me their comments. It was until the last standing student had exited the room did I realize someone was still at her desk.
“Is there something-” ‘I can help you with,’
“Why’d you leave this morning?” she asked, standing up from her spot. I looked up and away from the paperwork I was “working” on. Swallowing down my own pride and unnecessary fears, I stood. My fingertips resting on top of my desk. “Woulda made you coffee… Breakfast even…” she whispered with a shrug.
“Right…”
“You were hoping I was so drunk I forgot who you were, right? That’s what it is?” she asked, her eyebrows knitting together as she spoke. I watched as she stepped around her desk and approached my own. “I thought… I don’t know what it’s like the morning after… But if that’s what it is… Then I don’t want it,” she scoffed as she stared at me. I didn’t mean to hurt her as much as I did. But it was already too late, and the damage was done.
“That’s not what it’s like. I promise,” I whispered as I looked at her. I wasn’t prepared to make up excuses and lies as to why I just left. But I also don’t think she’d believe my truth either.
“Then why did you leave,” she ask-No, she begged. Begged me for the truth.
“I-I, uh, I had to leave because of this. I needed to get ready for this class,” I tapped down on the hard surface of my desk. Her eyes dropped down to the desktop. I could see the range of emotions on her face as she looked at all the papers scattered on my desk. Maybe she would believe me. Again, I don’t think I would have been able to come up with a believable lie.
“You could have woken me up, still… I seriously would have made you coffee,” she muttered before shrugging, again.
“Next time then,” I swallowed roughly as I stared at her. Her eyes shot up from the desk and landed right on my face. I could tell she was trying to keep her sudden excitement hidden. But I knew she was excited because of the way the corner of her lip twitched up slightly, and the way she shifted her stance, and the way her grip on her books changed, and all the other things I could list off but won’t.
“Next time?” It was obvious she struggled to keep her voice low.
“I mean, never say never, right?” I asked, shoving my hands in my pockets. She looked at me with a smile as she hugged her books closer to her chest.
“Right… Never say never,” she whispered as she looked back down at the desk, “It was nice meeting you, Professor Reid,” she paused before looking up at me, a smug smile back on her lips, “And, it was nice seeing you again, Spencer,” she winked at me before walking out of my lecture hall. I swallowed roughly, staring at the space she once occupied.
Fuck.

delicate -- Hotch x Reader one-shot
Here’s that one-shot I’ve been holding for a while! Named her delicate after Taylor Swift’s song, purely because of the whole “dive bar on the east side/where you at?” imagery. I listened to the Spotify Singles (acoustic) version of the song while writing this, if you wanna listen while you read! Enjoy!! xx.
Summary: Hotch doesn’t go to bars very often. Until he meets you at one.
Warnings: age gap (reader is somewhere around 24-25), mentioning of being safe at a bar (so alluding to date rape drugs), harassment from one drunk dickhead
Hotch Masterlist
Tumblr media
Hotch doesn’t go to bars.
When he’s not on a case, working on paperwork for a case, or caring for his son, he’s normally asleep.
Not at a bar.
But some nights, the memories are too much. Some nights, the cases take a toll on him — especially the children that never made it back home to their parents.
He doesn’t know why he’s in a bar. The only time he comes is when the team goes out and wants to drag him with. It’s normally Dave who manages to get him to agree to a beer or two.
But Aaron is alone this time.
You, on the other hand, know exactly why you’re in a bar.
You’re bored, you’ve just finished your masters degree, you need a drink and some time to yourself to people-watch.
It’s fun, really. Observing people while they’re drunk. You usually have one drink and switch over to water, wanting to remember the things you see while also staying safe.
But occasionally— or, well, more than occasionally by the sheer unfortunate fact of you being a woman alone in a bar, you get the typical man sliding into the seat next to you before he’s even all the way through his rehearsed, “Is this seat taken?”
You never answer. There is no point in trying because their ass already hits the chair before you can say, “Yes, it’s taken, by my foot, now move before I kick it up your ass.”
You never say that, not often. Sometimes the guys can be pretty big assholes, but the bartender, Vanessa, knows you well, so she usually threatens security before you get yourself in trouble.
Unfortunately, tonight looks like it’s going to be one of those nights.
The bar is packed for a reason you aren’t privy too until you see (and hear) the random band start a new song. Great. Performance.
Still, you snag the last seat at the bar, waving to the bartender when she sees you. You barely get the seat warm before she’s sliding your usual in front of you.
“It’s on the house tonight,” she yells.
“What?” You shake your head. “No the fuck it’s not.”
She leans closer so she doesn’t have to yell as loud. “You are my saving grace in this sea of assholes, so yes it is. We can fight about it later.”
“Fine,” you roll your eyes. You dip your hands underneath the bar to switch your diamond ring from your right to left hand.
Tonight, you’re married.
You got this ring when your last relationship ended so badly. It was a long time coming, and once you were finally able to see the other side, you went out and bought yourself an engagement ring. Just for you. A promise to yourself to start loving yourself harder, and going out with dickheads less.
So far, it’s been wonderful. You’re loving being alone. It was exhausting going on so many first dates, trying to love someone else instead of letting yourself heal.
It’s been two years of singleness for you now, and you’ve loved almost every day.
The “wedding” ring usually makes most of the guys turn the other way. A few that are oblivious will try talking to you, but once they glance at your hand, they excuse themselves.
It’s hysterical, if you’re honest.
But some, unfortunately, don’t give a damn.
Like the guy who has just squeezed his way into the seat next to you.
You roll your eyes and prepare yourself for the shallow conversations because, for some ungodly reason, the band decided now was a good time for a break.
“You come here often?”
Oh, for fuck’s sake. “Nope.”
“It’s a pretty good place,” the guy says, waving down the other bartender, his name is Nick. “You should come here more often.”
“Should I, now?”
“Yeah,” the guy grins. “You’ll see me.”
You roll your eyes so hard it nearly hurts.
“Wanna dance?”
“Not in the mood.”
“Can I buy you another drink?”
“No thanks.”
“Can I get you anything?”
“Why, do you work here?”
“Look, I’m just trying to be nice.” Ah, there it is. The “nice guy” line.
You turn your head, raising an eyebrow. “Good for you. I’m not interested.”
“Ooh,” he feigns hurt, holding an open hand to his chest. “Ouch.”
You shrug. “You’ll get over it.”
“Damn.”
“Mm.”
“You sure you don’t wanna dance?”
“I’m married,” you say easily, picking your glass up with your left hand to show off your ring. You don’t drink from your glass because you made the mistake of looking away for only a moment, so now you’re paranoid that he might’ve slipped something in it.
The guy looks around, then back to you. “I don’t see a husband.” Oh, he sounds so smug. Like he’s pulled one over on you. Moron.
“He’s on a work trip.”
“Well, he’s not here.”
“You don’t want to get on his bad side, dude.”
“Oh really? What’s he do for a living?”
“He works for the FBI.” The lie slips from your mouth before you can stop it, and you almost laugh.
It’s something you’ve pulled from the countless guys that have said they work for the FBI, but have no badge to show for it. It’s always cracked you up. You’re aware there’s an FBI office around here, but you doubt a greasy, blackout drunk works for them. Let alone more than five greasy, blackout drunks in one night.
“The FBI, huh?” The guy says, just taking it in stride. “What’s his name?”
Right as you’re about to make one up until Vanessa can get back over here to threaten security, two arms slip around your waist.
You’re ready to throw caution to the wind along with your fists, but the owner of the arms says, “Just go with it, I’m Aaron.”
You turn your head to see a very handsome older man peering down at you, a smile on his lips that you can’t help but mirror. Something about his face has your gut screaming that you can trust him, so you play along.
“Honey! I thought you were in Texas!” You throw your arms around his neck for good measure, and also for a moment to casually get a good whiff of his cologne. Goddamn. You’ll gladly be his fake-wife. Any day. Forever.
“I was,” Aaron says, squeezing you before letting you go. He moves to stand next to you, his arm around your waist in a protective manner. “We landed early, wanted to surprise you.” He kisses your knuckles to keep up the act, and then settles his eyes on the man who was bothering you.
“You must be the husband,” the guy mutters bitterly. “You really work for the FBI?”
Oh, fuck, you think. This guy just doesn’t give up. A few future scenarios flash before your eyes, but the one most alarming is a fight erupting, which isn’t all that far-fetched. You’d never be able to come back if you caused something like that.
But before you can stumble through some excuse, Aaron is pulling out a badge. An actual badge.
“Supervisory Special Agent Hotchner. I’m the unit chief of the BAU,” he says easily, holding his badge out for as long as it takes the guy to inspect it. You have no clue what BAU stands for, but you’re just thanking whatever Gods might be real that this is happening.
The idiot is scowling by the time Aaron puts his badge away. He leaves without a word.
Your jaw nearly drops as you watch the guy go, and literally leave the bar. You had hopes that he’d leave you alone, but leaving the bar entirely is even better.
Aaron’s arm slips from around your waist as he moves to take the now empty seat next to you. All the while you’re gawking at him like you’re in some fever dream.
When he catches your eyes, he says, “What?”
“Am I dreaming?” You blurt. “Do you really work for the FBI?”
He chuckles and pulls out his badge again, holding it out to you where you can read it. And sure as shit, he’s an actual FBI agent. What the fuck.
You look up as he pulls his badge away. “Did you hear me tell the guy my husband worked for the FBI?”
Aaron shakes his head. “That was pure luck. By the way,” he holds his hand out to you. “I’m Aaron.”
“Y/N,” you shake his hand, smiling at the fact that Aaron wanted to go through the official pleasantries and that you got to feel how soft his hand is again. “Thank you for that. I thought he’d never leave.”
“No worries. And it’s best he did, I really didn’t feel like arresting anyone tonight.”
“Arresting him? For what?”
“Well for starters, harassment. But since that usually doesn’t hold up very well, I’d have to say it was for his cocaine addiction.”
Your eyes widen. “He was doing coke?”
“Well, not out in the open, of course, but there were traces of it on his nose and his eyes had that look to them. Addicts are easy to spot when you run into them enough.”
Who the hell is this guy?
“Oh, and forgive me, what’s your husband’s name?” Aaron gestures down at your left hand. “I might know him, but I can’t say that I recognize you.”
“Oh,” you move the ring back to your right hand, much to Aaron’s surprise. “I’m not married. I only put it on the left hand to try to avoid assholes like that.”
“I see,” Aaron nods, and if you’re not mistaken, he almost looks pleased.
Vanessa returns to get Aaron’s drink, and then gives you a look.
You want to scream, yes, I’m well aware he is dangerously attractive and that he’s talking to me but don’t you dare say a word to embarrass me.
Instead, you say, “Can you make me another?”
She nods in understanding and pours out your drink, setting off to make a second after sliding Aaron his beer.
“So,” you turn your body and prop your head in your palm. “What’s got an FBI agent in a bar on a Tuesday night?”
He takes a long swig of his beer before answering. “What’s the real story behind that ring on your hand?”
“Answer for an answer,” you sing, smiling at Vanessa when she brings you your drink. She leaves without a word, raising her eyebrows at you.
“The cases can be rough,” Aaron says vaguely, bringing your attention back to him. “You?”
“Got it as a promise to myself to never date another prick ever again,” you chuckle, gazing down at the ring. “It’s worked its magic, so far.”
“So far?”
“I’m talking to you, aren’t I?”
He smiles through his next swig of beer.
+++
It becomes a routine, you and Aaron sharing a drink at the bar.
To your surprise, he has the same views as you about alcohol. It’s fun to have one drink, but getting wasted and blacking out isn’t.
It’s refreshing, if you’re honest. Everyone your age wants to get absolutely shitfaced every time they go out, and that’s just never been for you.
It helps that Aaron is older. Well— You’re not sure if it helps or not. Because he is significantly older, the farthest you two have gone is sharing a drink at the bar. He usually leaves first, needing to get home to his son, to do more case work, or there was one time when he actually got a call about a case mid-drink. He was gone for two weeks after that.
But he always comes back, and he always finds you here, at this bar.
You mostly come every night to keep Vanessa company for an hour or two. To give yourself a break from the chaos of reality and to give her a familiar face in the sea of drunken customers.
Every night that Aaron isn’t here, Vanessa asks you where he is. Like you would know (you only do if he tells you of a possible up and coming case). Like you have his number (you don’t). Like you care (you don’t want to admit that you do).
“No Daddy tonight?” Vanessa teases, sliding you your drink.
“If you don’t stop calling him Daddy, I swear to God.”
“Oh, don’t swear to Him. He doesn’t need to get involved.”
You send a glare her way, but you’re holding back a laugh.
“Is he still on a case?” She asks, trying to be serious again.
You shrug. “Who knows. They can last pretty long. He was gone two weeks for the last one.”
“Keeping track, are we?” She raises an eyebrow.
“Shut up.”
“I’m just saying, you two are killing me here, sharing drinks and not saying how you feel. It’s torture to watch you every week, you know.”
“He’s like...twenty years older than me. Or something.”
“And?” She scoffs. “Age is but a number. You’re an adult. He’s an adult. It’s fine.”
You shrug. “He probably just sees me as a friend. He would’ve given me his number or something by now, right?”
“I dunno, men are weird. But he’s older, he’s probably scared to make a move, scared he’ll make you uncomfortable.”
You shrug again. You appreciate her trying to show you the possibilities, the logical reasons for why the two of you haven’t gone any further from the bar, but you aren’t sure what to believe. Plus, it’s been a week since you’ve seen him. The last time you two shared a drink, he didn’t say anything about a case.
So, he’s either on a case again, or has stopped coming.
The latter thought has you debating getting shitfaced wasted for the first time in years. Being blackout drunk would probably hurt you less than if it’s true that he’s just suddenly ditched you.
But what stops you is when Vanessa runs back over, eyes wide. “Just spotted your hottie.”
Oh, now he’s my hottie? “What?” You inwardly scold yourself for sounding a little too giddy at the prospect of him being here.
But if he’s here, why isn’t he sitting next to you?
Vanessa answers that one for you. “At a table in the back. He’s with friends I think.”
Friends? Never mind then on sharing a drink with him. “Oh, cool.”
Vanessa looks like she wants to say something, but is called away to another customer.
You don’t want to butt in with Aaron’s time with friends, so you stay at the bar, facing forward, nursing your one drink. Your mind conjures a plan in two seconds flat: finish your drink, head out for the night and discreetly look in Aaron’s direction, hopefully catch his eye, but if not, just go home and...shower and go to sleep.
Because if he wants to see you, he will. If he doesn’t, then he won’t.
Good plan.
Or at least, it is, until Aaron is sliding up beside you.
Your heart launches itself into your throat. You don’t say anything because you have no idea what to say. You were too busy assuming he’d rather be with his friends (which is...fine because it’s not like the two of you are...dating) to notice him walking up.
He says something for you, though. “Hey.”
Well, he might as well have stayed silent. What are you supposed to do with that?
“Hey,” you return casually, then offer a small smile. “Thought you’d be gone longer.” You operate on the assumption that he was on a case.
And he was. “This one actually worked in our favor.” He leans his elbows onto the bar, and naturally your eyes follow the movement. He’s not in a stuffy suit like the last few times, but he’s still in a dress shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
Arms. You’re a complete sucker for arms, and he’s practically teasing you like this.
“That’s good,” you comment, taking a sip from your drink. “Here to celebrate?”
“Yeah, we are.”
Nick brings Aaron his beer, thankfully, because you know Vanessa would’ve made some not-so-vague comment about Aaron being up here -- and maybe let an “accidental” Daddy comment slip.
To your surprise, Aaron sits down.
Your eyebrows furrow. “I thought you’re here with friends?”
Aaron looks over his shoulder and shrugs. “Just my team, yeah. I imagine they’re tired of me, though.”
You doubt that’s the case, but you know that if you say that, he’ll just brush it off.
“Not even gonna introduce me?” You tease instead, but you honestly want to smack yourself. You need to get a better hold on your word vomit. Inviting yourself is insanely rude.
Aaron’s eyebrows raise slightly, clearly not expecting you to say that — or to even want to be introduced to his team. “They’re a lot,” he says. “They’ll make a big deal out of this.”
“This?” You question, gesturing shortly between the two of you. “What is this?”
“What do you want it to be?” He asks carefully, averting his eyes shyly.
“Well,” you exhale dramatically, swirling your drink. “I think when you’ve shared a drink with a woman more than...twenty times, it should at least be considered dating.” You cut your eyes in his direction, your chest swelling as you see a grin breaking out on his face.
“I think I’m a bad date,” he says, confusing you. He chuckles, adding, “You don’t even have my number!”
“I’ll get it at the end of tonight,” you say, touching his arm gently for reassurance. “Come on, I think the back of my head is burning from how hard they’re staring.”
He looks through the corner of his eyes and sighs. “I’m sorry in advance for them.”
“No need to apologize,” you shrug. “Friends can be the worst. Vanessa has already started asking questions about you.” You nod toward the bartender that is feigning interest in clearing a space behind the bar.
“I figured,” Aaron murmurs. “Okay.” He slides off the stool, grabbing his beer in one hand, and holding his other one out to you.
Your heart jumps harshly when you take his hand. It’s warm and soft and secure, everything you want and need. You grab your drink in your free hand, giving Aaron’s hand a reassuring squeeze.
As soon as you and Aaron approach the table, the older gentleman is punching the one with tattoos. “Pay up.”
Aaron witnesses the cash exchange and stares at them tiredly. “Seriously, guys?”
Meanwhile, you’re holding back a giggle.
“Well, hello,” the woman with the colorful fashion sense says. “Introduce us!”
Aaron looks ready to pretend like he doesn’t know any of them, so you step up and say, “He told me you guys would be like this.”
That gets him laughing, and he finally says, “Y/N, this is Penelope, Emily, JJ, Spencer, Derek, and Dave.” Each person nods, waves, or smiles when their name is called.
“I’ll try to remember,” you joke. “But no promises.”
You squeeze Aaron’s hand in yours, trying to get him to loosen up. He does, barely, so when he tugs on your hand, silently asking you to step closer to him so his arm can fit around your waist, you oblige.
“What was the bet about?” You ask, nodding toward the men who exchanged cash a bit ago. It was Dave and Derek if you’re remembering names correctly.
“Rossi thought Hotch was going to bring you back over here, but I didn’t agree,” Derek says, nudging Dave’s arm. “I didn’t think you’d go for him.”
“Well, that’d be embarrassing if I went for someone else, considering we’re dating,” you chuckle, leaning your head back to look up at Aaron.
“Dating? So it’s official?” Emily asks, looking a little more excited than you thought any of them would.
“I think it was official the first time we met,” you snicker. “He pretended to be my husband so some dickhead would leave me alone.”
Aaron’s arm tightens around your waist at the memory.
“Okay,” Penelope grabs her drink, then moves over next to you, linking your arm with hers. “Hotch, we’re stealing her. We need details.”
Aaron doesn’t look like he wants to let go at all, but you press a kiss to his cheek. “Told you it’d be fine,” you whisper to him.
He surprises you by pressing a kiss on your lips. Midway through, your brain reminds you that this is technically your first kiss with him. And it’s in front of his friends. Swoon.
After so many dates with guys who were ashamed to be showing any sort of affection toward a woman, it’s nice to find a man who doesn’t care who sees his affection.
What can you say? After dating so many boys, it’s nice to finally find a man.

Hair of the Dog
The problem with having a goat as a pet was that Eskel had a goat as a pet. It was usually wonderful, Lil Bleater was a menace and Eskel loved her for it. Alas, some days she was a little more than he bargained for. Visiting Geralt on the farm was always a delight, it was one of the few places Bleats could explore without a leash and Eskel knew she was safe.
All in all it was a great day, a rarity for the whole extended family to get together. Geralt had Yennefer and Jaskier with him, they were playing pass the parcel with Ciri, except whenever they unwrapped her, it was always a dirty nappy rather than a fun treat under her layers. How Eskel ended up with a family where both his brothers had two partners was a mystery, it was perhaps why he was still a bachelor with only Lil Bleater as his companion, Lambert and Geralt had soaked up all the appeal for themselves and left none for Eskel.
"Where are the Gremlins?" Eskel asked, looking around. The Gremlins were also known as Lambert, Aiden and Cahir. One at a time and they were manageable but the three together wreaked unknown havoc and destroyed an alarming number of clothes between them. If they ever wore safety pins through clothes, Eskel knew it wasn't for aesthetics at all.
"Last I heard they were heading for the barn. Cahir was going to see whether the new pony is ready to be worked yet." Somehow Geralt sounded resigned and they all knew that while the trio might have looked at the gelding, they were most definitely going to be making out or more in one of the empty stalls.
Rolling his eyes, Eskel nodded. "I'm not risking that. Tell them I said goodbye and that Lambert still owes me a drink next week, will you?" He clicked his tongue and watched as Lil Bleater blatantly ignored him in favour of hopping over puddles. Just because she was having too much fun and still full of energy despite a whole day of charging around didn't mean she got to keep going. Resigned to his fate of chasing his goat in order to get her home, Eskel lumbered off, trying to look like he wasn't approaching her with intent. Needless to say, it didn't work. With expert ease Lil Bleater avoided him, bounding just out of reach. Even worse, he brothers were watching and Eskel wanted to growl at them that they might as well help if they were going to watch. Thankfully he managed to grab his wayward goat, only for her to protest in the worst possible way, she threw herself onto the ground. Normally Eskel wouldn't mind but she chose to roll in a puddle, her white fur soaking in the muddy water and staining it.
"Well shit."
Dripping goat firmly leashed, Eskel stared at her. She watched him unrepentantly for a moment before trying to nibble at her leash. Eskel had learned the hard way that he needed a metal chain leash for her, nothing else survived her incessant chomping. There was no way he could take her home like that, and hosing her down wasn't going to be much good as she's just drip more water in the car and make it smell even more of wet goat.
Thankfully he always had a towel or two in the boot so Eskel could pat her mildly dry but the puddle hadn't been simple mud and water, only heightening the stench. Thinking about his poor tub, Eskel knew he wouldn't be able to give Bleats a bath. The one time he had tried, he'd needed to buy a new shower curtain and invest in some repairs to the tub. Little goat hooves were not compatible with his bathroom. Stashing her in her travel crate, Eskel pulled his phone out and searched for possible solutions. The most sensible was a pet groomer, alas the three numbers he tried all refused to deal with a goat. Some days Eskel cursed himself for not having a more traditional pet.
"You trying to get a groomer?" Cahir sidled up to him, eyes glinting with the promise of mischief.
"Yeah, but it's not like anyone wants to bathe a goat." Not that Eskel was bitter. He didn't expect Cahir to laugh.
"You just haven't asked the right one. Come on, I'll introduce you to someone who'll help. Just follow my bike."
It was easier said than done. While Eskel had heard stories from Lambert about the strange love affair Cahir had with his bike, it was a whole different thing to see it. Having witnessed it, Eskel had to wonder whether there were four in that relationship rather than three as he'd originally thought.
Hair of the Dog looked like a bit of a shithole if Eskel was honest. It was out in a small industrial park near a village, wooden cladding faded and looking in desperate need of a paint. Helmet under his arm, Cahir barged in without a care for the sign that declared the place closed.
"Scales!" He hollered, impatiently holding the door open for Eskel. "Got you a client."
Not quite knowing what to expect, Eskel's eyes widened when a man larger than him appeared, scowling at Cahir.
"What did I tell you about my opening hours? And fucking hell what is that stench?"
Cahir leaned against the wall with a shit eating grin and gestured towards Eskel and Lil Bleater knowingly.
"That's a goat." It was possibly the dumbest thing anyone could have said.
"No, I'm a human called Eskel," Eskel shot back, a little irked.
The laugh was warm and genuine as the owner of the grooming parlour caught on. "Letho. Who's your stinky companion?"
Somehow Eskel found himself charmed by the fact Letho didn't baulk at the fact he was being presented with a goat. He even invited Eskel to stay and watch the whole process of washing and drying his pet. What struck Eskel was how gentle he was through it all, talking to Bleats as much as he talked to Eskel.
"Wouldn't have clocked you as a dog groomer," Eskel admitted while Lil Bleater was enjoying her second rinse.
"Didn't peg you as a goat owner."
"Touche. You like dogs?" Which was a ridiculous thing to ask, given that Letho's work involved a lot of dogs and possibly a few cats. However, Letho shook his head.
"They're alright. But I wouldn't own one."
"Cats?"
"Guess again."
Eskel squinted at Letho. "I can't really say I can picture you with a parrot."
Another laugh and Eskel found himself quite fond of the raw honesty in it. He waited patiently for an answer though.
"Tell you what-" Letho suggested, "-let me finish up with my last client and then I can show you, if you're interested. It's a snake."
"I only inspect trouser snakes on third date," Eskel said, peering around. "If I had known you'd had other clients, I would have happily waited."
The spray of water was playfully turned on him, barely missing him. "It's you, you numpty. I'm closed on Tuesdays, that's admin day." A soft flush spread across Eskel's cheeks at that and Letho continued, "If I put Gully down my trousers, I don't think she'd ever forgive me. And I don't think she'd fit. She's a reticulated python."
"As long as she doesn't eat Bleats, I think we're good." Eskel had no idea about snakes but, given the size of Letho, he could imagine him with a large snake, no pun intended.
In the silence that fell on them, Eskel looked around again with a frown. "Did Cahir go?"
That had Letho looking up too. He left Lil Bleater to dry, quite thrilled at the prospect of having a fluffy goat stepping out of the dryer soon, and wandered out into the reception area. On the desk was a note.
"You owe me a drink. Maybe two. We told you you'll like him."
Groaning, Letho threw the note away but not before Eskel saw.
"That sounded ominous."
"The Three Fucketeers have been trying to set me up for a while. I resisted. Guess they win."
Grinning, Eskel shrugged. "They don't have to know that, do they?"
That had Letho looking up too. He left Lil Bleater to dry, and wandered out into the reception area. On the desk was a note.ion out no matter how hidden. Which led Eskel to the conclusion that if he couldn't beat them, they could join them. It was very unlikely they'd want graphic details so, with great confidence, Eskel met Letho's rather large snake. And he met Gully too.

pairing: Todoroki Shouto / Reader
length: 20,322 words / 6 chapters
summary: A villain attacks Shouto Todoroki’s apartment and kidnaps what he apparently believes to be Todoroki’s secret lover. The bad news—for both you and the villain in question—is that you’re just there to clean the place. That’s how it starts.
tags: romance, reader-insert, accidental sugar daddy shouto, misunderstandings
warnings: aged up characters, eventual smut
You spent the rest of the weekend freaking out about how handsy you had been with Shouto.
Not only had you stuffed him into the hat and the sunglasses, not only had you curled tightly into his politely offered warmth, but then you’d literally held his hand the entire way to your apartment. You’d been too drunk to be self-conscious about what you’d been doing at the time, but once sober, you were embarrassed to realize you’d been clinging to him like some kind of beer-and-yakitori-filled limpet.
You kept replaying the whole walk home in your head, reviewing the absent way you’d played with his fingers, how you’d mused on how warm and large his hands were. Then he’d very obviously tried to offload you as quickly as he could at your door, insisting that you go inside when you continued to hang around him, and he’d literally pushed you inside at the end of it.
God, you could just die.
Shouto, for his part, seemed pretty unbothered by the whole thing. He texted you a couple times over the weekend, as if things were completely normal, but you still dreaded the moment that Tuesday rolled around.
How were you supposed to look him in the face after making such an obvious fool of yourself? How was he being so chill about things? Maybe he was just used to everyone in a thousand mile radius making an immediate mess of themselves for him. But still, it was embarrassing that you were one of them.
Tuesday evening did roll around, however, and soon enough you found yourself tentatively cracking open the door to his apartment. You sent up a silent prayer for him to not be home, but your hopes were immediately dashed when you caught sight of his lean form stretched out on his couch, a book in hand. His head raised when he heard the door, and a small smile curled his mouth when he caught sight of you.
Your heart thumped very deliberately in your chest as if to call attention to the fact that you were even more of a lovestruck idiot than you’d been willing to admit.
You tried to ignore your entire body and the way it felt like every fiber was waking up and bending towards him like flowers in the sun, stepping carefully through the door and closing it behind you. As you did, an appealing but unusual scent met your nose, and you glanced around in confusion. What looked suspiciously like cookware and spices littered his heretofore completely untouched countertops, and you felt an eyebrow raise. Was he...cooking?
“Something’s wrong,” you blurted immediately.
Those heterochromatic eyes snapped to your face and he leaned forward in concern. “What?”
“You’re cooking,” you said. “You’ve never cooked one single time the entire time I’ve worked here. Your countertops told me so.”
He let out a soft laugh, relaxing back into his couch. “There’s a first time for everything.”
You eyed him suspiciously. Was he okay? Had he been attacked or something? Was there such a thing as a villain with a quirk that made people cook things?
“What’s the occasion?” you asked carefully, watching him for any sign of a quirk’s influence.
He gestured you over to his living room and you went to him slowly. “I thought we’d hang out again.” He still pronounced the phrase like it sat uneasily in his mouth.
You stared at him. He wanted to hang out? “Shouto...but...my shift.”
He directed you to a chair across the coffee table from him. “I have to leave on a mission for a week tomorrow morning. I...wanted to spend time with you before I left.”
A weird mixture of concern and warmth washed over you. Okay, that was super cute, but that didn’t explain the complete absurdity of him suddenly reneging on what you strongly suspected was an unbroken streak of over two decades not cooking a single thing. Was the mission he was going on super dangerous? Did he think he wouldn’t come back from it? Was he crossing experiences off his bucket list before he went?
Your concern must have read on your face because he leaned forward, one cool hand taking yours. You almost jumped out of your skin with surprise.
“It’s not any more dangerous than my everyday work,” he said in that deep tone.
You frowned. That honestly wasn’t saying much, all things considered. His job literally involved fighting super villains.
“I just...thought it would be nice,” he said, and you thought you read a note of self-consciousness in his tone. You frowned.
What the hell did he have to be self-conscious about? He wasn’t the one who’d made a complete and utter fool of himself Friday night. You were honestly surprised he’d let you into his apartment at all, after what had happened.
But maybe...this was his way of telling you it didn’t matter? He was clearly making an effort to be nice--maybe he wanted to try again? If he really did, if that’s what this was really all about, then you could do that. And this time, you would keep your hands to yourself.
“What are you making?” you asked, your curiosity getting the better of you.
Shouto leaned in conspiratorially. “Vegetables.”
You let out a shocked laugh. “No way.”
A small smirk pulled at his mouth. “I don’t know how you usually make yours, but a friend had some suggestions.”
You looked at him curiously and he pulled out his phone, clicking into a chat and sliding it across the coffee table to you.
You glanced down at the messages, one eyebrow lifting when you saw a series of really good-looking recipes featuring roasted fall vegetables, then choked on a laugh when you caught sight of the other messages interspersed between the recipe links.
Do you seriously not fucking know how to cook a vegetable, icy hot?
[Honey Roasted Carrots with Yogur…] > http://bit.ly/9iJZ5jt
Fucking useless.
[Grilled Zucchini and Feta Toasts w...] > http://bit.ly/8oKZ5jf
Here, dipshit: [Charred Vegetable Medley with Burrata…] > http://bit.ly/5oDF4fi
If you food poison her, I don’t give a shit.
Don’t text me again.
“These look really good, but, um,” you chuckled, “your secret lover seems a little displeased.”
Shouto’s mouth curled. “He’s the jealous type.”
You laughed. “And when he’s clearly the superior chef, with recipes like that. I talk a big vegetable game, but I can’t give you what he can.”
Shouto huffed a laugh. “Anger issues and insults?”
You grinned back at him, then jumped when a timer went off in the kitchen.
“Stay here,” Shouto commanded. A cool hand pressed you down into a chair, and then he was gone.
Your eyes followed him as he made his way to the kitchen, tracing over the lines of his broad shoulders. He’d chosen another soft sweater today and he looked so fucking good, so absurdly domestic as he pulled vegetables out of the oven and looked them over. It was clear he had no idea what he was doing, and that somehow made everything ten times cuter, the sight of him way too much for your poor heart to take.
He was too easy to picture as a boyfriend trying to do something sweet for his girlfriend, and your teeth ached with the thought of it. You wondered if this was how he was going to treat his lover, when he eventually got one for real. That girl was going to be so damn lucky, she had no idea.
Shouto wandered back over with plates loaded with vegetables, two wine glasses, and a bottle of something dark and red.
You eyed the bottle carefully. You’d promised yourself you wouldn’t get handsy this time, and it was hard enough to keep your cool around him when you were sober. You didn’t know if you trusted yourself with a glass or two of wine in you.
“Uh, this looks really good,” you said, examining your plate for a distraction. It looked like Shouto had made every single one of the recipes Bakugou had sent him, and they honestly didn’t look too bad.
Shouto adopted a carefully blank look, like he was trying not to look too pleased. “We’ll see if that impression lasts. This is the first time any of my kitchenware has seen action.”
You laughed. “I trust you. Besides, I’m not hard to impress. In freshman year I once ate nothing but instant ramen for six weeks straight.”
He smirked and moved to pour the wine. You opened your mouth to stop him, lest you drink too much and get a little too hands on again, but you froze when you caught sight of the flowers at the center of his coffee table. The bouquet from Friday stared back at you.
Heat flared in your cheeks when you realized he’d kept it. The flowers definitely were not nice enough to fit in with the rest of his modern apartment, and the edges of the petals were looking a little more obviously wilted now, but he’d kept them. He’d found a vase and put them in water and set them out on his coffee table, and that was so embarrassing and so, so cute.
Shouto caught you looking. “I really did mean that I liked them,” he said evenly.
“I’ll get you something nicer,” you suddenly blurted, eyes still locked on the bouquet. “When you come back from your mission. If you come back safe.”
He looked at you curiously, eyes fixing on you unblinkingly. “You sound concerned.”
You shifted uncomfortably. “Well, yeah. I--” have the world’s fattest crush on you “--care about you.”
Shouto’s eyes darkened and he considered you for a long moment. “I care about you, too,” he admitted quietly.
You put a hand to your face to make sure it wasn’t actually on fire, and you leaned forward to help yourself to the wine so you didn’t have to look at him. Fuck it. You would just have to watch your hands extra carefully.
“So, uh, where’s the mission?” you asked hurriedly, suddenly desperate to move the conversation along. You needed to put a ton of words in between Shouto and what you’d just admitted, give him as little opportunity as possible to think in any more depth about what you’d said. It was cute that he’d returned the sentiment, but he did not mean it in the same way you did.
Shouto gave a vague answer, looking apologetic that he couldn’t share more, and your gut twisted at the idea that he’d be somewhere far away for over a week while you had no idea where he was. He looked uncomfortable with the idea as well, and you immediately steered the conversation back to more positive waters, starting up a stream of compliments over the vegetables that had turned out actually pretty good, especially for his first time cooking anything.
You had to stifle a laugh at how hard Shouto tried not to look smug.
As they always did, the hours slipped away easily with hardly any sign of their passing, and before you realized, it was well past when your shift was supposed to have ended. You and Shouto had talked yourselves almost all the way to midnight.
“I’ll help clean up before I go,” you announced, standing up and bringing plates into Shouto’s kitchen. He followed you closely, warm at your back.
“Let me,” he said quietly and you looked up at him, smiling.
“I literally came here to clean and then didn’t do shit,” you informed him. “Besides, you can’t clean up. You have to supervise to ensure the safety of your countertops, remember?”
He smirked. “How could I forget?”
You grinned and turned back to the sink, powering through all the dishes and stowing the leftovers away in tupperware. Shouto watched you hawkishly as you wiped down the counters, and you laughed.
“You can’t protect them from me while you’re gone,” you intoned, turning to him. “You might as well say your farewells now.”
His eyes narrowed and he stepped closer to you. You took a step back in surprise, your hip bumping the counter.
“I seem to recall bribery works quite well,” he said, his voice dipping lower. Your skin prickled at the sound. “What would you have me offer this time?”
You stared up at him, fighting down a shiver. He must not have realized how close he’d stepped, but he was near enough that you could feel the heat of him and smell that cologne again, that clean scent that made your head spin. After a couple of glasses of wine, you were helpless to fight the way your eyes were drawn to his mouth. Every nerve ending in your body snapped to attention.
You leaned forward, feeling dazed. Then you froze when you realized what you were doing. Jesus Christ, you needed to be arrested.
“Uh, consider the vegetables payment enough,” you said quickly, gazing up at him with wide eyes.
Shouto watched you for a long moment with a strange little smile playing about his mouth, then stepped back, letting you go. You breathed a quiet sigh of relief while simultaneously mourning the loss of his proximity.
He turned and grabbed up the extra food to press into your hands, then called an agency car for you as he always did, and walked you down to the lobby of his building.
“Please stay safe,” you said to him as you lingered in the doorway, hating the way your voice sounded a little desperate.
He smiled, and before you knew what was happening, his arms went around you, pulling you into his chest. He was so warm and broad and hard with lean muscle, and he smelled so, so good. You couldn’t suppress your full body shiver.
“I’ll stay safe,” he said into your hair. “If you keep my countertops safe.”
You couldn’t help but laugh into his sweater. “It’s a deal.”
He kept you pressed to him for a few moments more, and you tried to be subtle about the lungfuls of air you were taking, the way you were memorizing the feel of him to replay over and over in your brain for the literal rest of your life. Eventually, one of the security officers coughed, and you jumped back, shame-faced.
“I’ll see you in a week,” Shouto promised.
You smiled. “See you in a week.”
Then you turned and walked to the car. You could feel a pair of eyes hot on your back, following you until the car pulled away and turned out into the night.
Tumblr media
The rest of the week passed fairly uneventfully. You ate, slept, wrote a paper, and clocked in to your usual Thursday shift at Shouto’s apartment, trying not to feel too disappointed at how empty it felt without him there. He hadn’t told you much, but you had gathered that his assignment had taken him outside of the country, and this meant that you hadn’t received any texts from him in days.
You tried to keep yourself distracted all through the weekend, getting a leg up on all the finals work that was starting to pile up, putting in a ton of hours at the fancy coffee shop with your laptop and several americanos that were (to your fond exasperation) still completely paid for.
It was only when Monday rolled around that something went completely and utterly wrong, and not in any way that you would have ever expected.
When you walked into lecture that morning, you immediately felt like you were being watched. A quick check in your periphery confirmed that a couple groups of students were casting subtle glances in your direction, and excited whispers began to pick up around you. You quickly ran a hand over your face to see if you’d accidentally gotten toothpaste on yourself, and glanced down at your clothes to make sure no coffee had spilled.
Nothing came to your attention, so you settled into your seat, wondering.
Lecture passed slowly, and as the minutes ticked by, you felt more and more pairs of eyes fix themselves on you. When class ended, you watched in bemusement as everyone turned to watch you leave, and you launched yourself out of the room as fast as you could, heartbeat picking up.
What the hell was wrong with people?
Almost as soon as you’d managed to duck out of the building, your phone rang with an unknown number. You stared at it blankly, considering hanging up, but a feeling of foreboding pressed down on you with a sudden urgency. What if something had happened to Shouto?
“Y/N,” a woman on the other end of the line said briskly, as soon as you picked up. “This is Shouto’s manager.”
Your heart leapt into your throat, but before you could gasp out a question, she was talking to you urgently. “I need you to head home as quickly as possible, and don’t talk to anyone on your way.”
“What?” you asked wildly. “Is everything okay? Is Shouto hurt?”
“Shouto’s fine,” she said, then paused. “You haven’t seen the news, then.”
“No?” you frowned. A pair of passing girls stopped short when they caught sight of you, and your sense of confusion magnified twofold.
“You’ve been outed as Shouto’s secret lover,” his manager sighed.
Your heart stopped. What?
“Excuse me?” you asked.
“Someone got a couple shots of you on your date the other week, and a few more in the lobby of his building,” she explained. “That, and you match the description of the woman the villain took from his apartment when he’d claimed to take Shouto’s lover hostage. News outlets will be tracking you down any minute.”
You glanced up, only to find the entire walkway of students frozen, watching you. Your eyes widened and you quickly turned on your heel, picking up into a brisk jog towards your apartment.
“It wasn’t a date though!” you hissed into the phone, anxiety washing over you. “It’s not--they can’t think that Shouto would--with me--!”
Shouto’s manager made a clicking noise with her tongue. “Whether you are or aren’t, it certainly looks like you are,” she paused for a long time, then added somewhat hesitantly, “And as soon as you get home, I need you to delete your twitter account.”
Your limbs iced over. Oh fucking hell--she’d found your twitter account? You launched yourself into a faster run, tearing down the city blocks towards your apartment.
“Oh my god, how did you--? When did--? I am so dead if anyone finds that,” you puffed as you ran, “Has anyone else found it yet or just you?”
“Not yet. It will take the media a few hours to track down all of your information but, having reviewed the contents myself, I think it’s safe to say you’ll want it removed.”
You cringed. You didn’t know how she’d found it, but you hated to think of Shouto finding out exactly what was on there. You hoped she kept things to herself.
“I’ll delete it,” you promised as you rounded the corner into your neighborhood, ignoring the stitch that was making itself known in your side. You needed to hit the gym more. “But what do I do about the secret lover thing? They can’t think that Shouto would actually date me.”
“You do nothing,” she commanded, a pit formed in your gut. “We’ll ignore it, and eventually they will lose interest.”
Your stomach churned. It had already been months since the kidnapping and they clearly hadn’t lost interest yet. You hated to think of Shouto trapped in an even more vicious cycle of gossip all because you couldn’t keep your damn hands to yourself. God, what the hell had you gotten him into?
“That’s not fair to him,” you said, slowing to a walk when you saw a crowd of people lingering around your apartment. You picked up several cameras, and your insides twisted nervously when you realized what was going on. They’d already found your apartment.
“Shouto’s a big boy, he can handle himself,” his manager explained, but you heard her only dimly, as if through water. A plan was suddenly forming in the back of your mind as you considered the crowds milling outside of your apartment. “We’ll come up with a plan later, and--”
“No,” you said, biting your lip nervously. “I think I--I think I know what I can do. I’ll just tell everyone the truth and then they’ll leave him alone.”
"Absolutely not," Shouto's manager said, sounding weirdly like your mom just before she was about to ground you. "You have no experience with the media, they will eat you alive."
You considered this. "But what harm is there in just telling the truth? It's not like you have to have experience for that."
"No," she said, like that would settle things. But you just watched the swarm of people, the feeling getting stronger. You'd gotten kidnapped, you'd suggested the izakaya, you'd held his hand. Shouto was in this situation because of you, whether you were to blame or not. You had to fix things.
“Y/N,” his manager called from the other end of the line, but you weren’t listening. You quickly ended the call, then logged into twitter, clicking into settings and immediately hitting delete on your account. You would not survive if the entire world found out just how thirsty you were for the man you were about to set the record straight on. You ran a quick hand through your hair, making sure that you didn’t look completely embarrassing, and straightened out your clothes.
Then, squaring your shoulders, you walked up to your building.
Immediately, you were swarmed with cameras, all manner of microphones ramming you in the chin and elbows.
“Y/N,” a woman shouted, her eyes bright with excitement, “How does it feel to be Shouto Todoroki’s secret lover? Why did you hide your relationship for so long?”
You’d anticipated the question, but you still couldn’t help the way you stared at her. “Um, I’m not sure if I’m qualified to answer that. We’re not, um--it’s not like that.”
Wow it was hard to talk in front of a camera. Your face heated.
She seemed to ignore you. “Why have the two of you been spotted together on multiple occasions, holding hands and hugging? You seem fairly close to me.”
You cringed. “T-that’s my fault. I drank a little too much and Shouto was helping me home. The hug was just between friends.”
“Todoroki took you home when you were drunk? Did anything happen?”
You gawped. “No, of course not! What are you--? Are you kidding me?”
“A man takes a woman home late at night, and you insist nothing happened?”
Your temper flared. You didn’t like the things she was insinuating about Shouto, and it was already embarrassing enough that nothing had actually happened. He all but thrown you inside to get away from you.
“No,” you said acidly, “It’s not like that for him. Shouto doesn’t feel that way about me.”
“And yet he was holding your hand?” the woman prompted.
Was this a fucking jury trial? Why the hell did she have so many questions? The words bubbled up out of your throat before you could stop them.
“No, I told you it’s not like that! Shouto has zero feelings for me and he was just being nice. If you want a story, you’re going to have to look elsewhere because there is no way on earth Shouto Todoroki would so much as glance in my direction, and he shouldn’t be put on trial for things that a drunk friend did. If Shouto has a secret lover, then that’s news to me too.”
The woman paused, then a grin spread across her face. “You say Todoroki has no feelings for you, but I notice you’ve not made the same claim. Could this instead be a case of unrequited love? Tell me, do you have feelings for a certain pro hero?”
It was a testament to how overwhelmed you were feeling, how much your brain was spinning, how unequipped you had come to lie, how completely and utterly stupid it was for you to have done this in the first place that the words that came out of your mouth next were not “no,” were not “are you kidding,” were not anything that gave you the safety of plausible deniability.
Instead, you opened your mouth, and in a move that would make you cringe until the literal day you died, you said: “Uh--wouldn’t you?”

Maybe the reader’s little brother spills something to both of them with the help of the rest of the band and they end of together. I just need major FLUFF
your younger brother thinks his guitar teacher is perfect for you and he’s adamant about getting you together. requests open!!
Tumblr media
A Roy Roger’s is a nonalcoholic drink made of cola and cherry grenadine and topped with a maraschino cherry.
Your younger brother, David, practically lived in your apartment. For a fourteen year old he was brilliant and very, very sneaky. Sneaky enough to creep out of your mother’s house in the dead of night and crawl up to the fire escape of your second story apartment.
When you’d stumbled to the kitchen, half asleep, he’d been at the table thumbing through a cookbook. He’d also had the audacity to laugh when you screamed, thinking he was an intruder. It wasn’t the first time this had happened, and it most definitely wouldn’t be the last either.
“One of these days something is going to be thrown at your head,” You hissed, setting a bowl of cereal in front of David, who looked at it with the utmost disgust.
    “What is this?”
“Quisp, either eat it or starve.”
He glowered at you, “I like Waffelos,”
“That's so sad, I have no money, its Quisp or nothing.” It was quiet for a while as you both ate, David still looking through your cookbook.
He closed the book, examining the cover as he spoke, “Mum said you have to sign me up for guitar lessons,”
    “Mum said what?”
“You have to sign me up for guitar lessons, she’ll pay. I have a well of untapped potential in the musical realm. That's according to her coworker, Deirdre.” He sighed, exasperated, “Mum trusts Deirdre apparently because now I have to learn guitar.”
“Where on earth does mum expect me to sign you up, I mean did she give you any specifics, like a price range? Do you even have a guitar?”
“First, I have mum’s old guitar. Second, she just said lessons. I think she trusts your judgment.”
Despite how much you appreciated your mother trusting your judgment, finding reasonably priced guitar lessons with someone who wasn’t a creep was harder than anticipated. You had collected a handful of flyers and business cards, all offering said lessons. The first call you placed was to a nice old lady looking to take up some spare time by providing lessons but she lived too far away for your mother to drive every week. The next was almost promising until you told Robert MacIntere that the lesson was for your brother, not you and he hung up the phone. One woman had too many cats, another man asked for your shoe size, someone else cursed you out when you said you couldn’t do their outlandish prices. The only promising thing you had gotten was a History professor, a very nice man too. You were thrilled when the lessons had finally been scheduled until he bowed out at the last minute and you were back at square one.
You had almost given up when, one rainy Thursday evening, you found an advert pinned outside of the auditorium. Guitar lessons, not too far away, open every Tuesday and Wednesday after three o’clock. The document was typed, all except a phone number scrawled on the bottom, almost as if an afterthought. You scratched the number on the palm of your hand and called straight away when you got home.
The line wrung for several seconds, “Yo?”
“Hi. Hi, yes I’m calling about a flyer I saw posted at Imperial College? It was an advert for bi-weekly guitar lessons, and your number was on the paper. I was wondering about booking a couple of weeks?”
The person on the line snorted, “Sorry dear, that’s not me. I assume you’re looking for my mate, just one moment and I’ll gather him-” You heard his hand cover the receiver as she called for someone, “Just one sec’ lovie,”
The phone was audibly handed off, “Hello?”
“Hi, um I’m calling about the guitar lessons?”
“Oh!” His voice, “Yes, of course! That's me, are you looking to schedule one?”
You had scheduled for the following Tuesday at four, to meet at his apartment. In the car on the way there, David rambled on about everything he wanted to learn and exactly how ecstatic he was for this. He had named his guitar George, after George Harison, who he admired. On the elevator ride up to Brian’s apartment, David was practically vibrating and he bounced on the balls of his feet as you waited at the door.
The door was opened by a blond, clad in a bathrobe and flannel pyjama pants who puffed at his cigarette as he stared at you, “What brings you here?”
Before you could speak David, who the blond hadn’t noticed until just then, piped up, “The guitar lessons. I’m the one being taught, [Name] is just sitting in.”
“Oh, well come in then, I’ll go and get Brian.” He tucked his cigarette behind him and lead you inside, “Um, make yourselves at home, couch is all yours.” He howled Brian’s name and ducked into the kitchen, snuffing out the smoke in an ashtray.
David got settled on the couch, tugging out his guitar, and you set into a chair. From around the corner rushed a very frantic body, clutching his own guitar. He was very tall, and the black pants he wore made his legs seem unproportionate to his body. What caught your eye the most though was his hair, he had a thick mane of tightly wound black curls, which also added to his height.
“Hi, I’m very sorry about this, I got a touch caught up in a bit of school work.” He settled onto the couch next to your brother, “You must be David, I’m Brian.” He gestured a hand to your brother.
David, ever the charmer, shook firmly as he spoke, “Its pleasure meeting you. I wasn’t quite sure that lessons were even going to happen, no one seemed right, according to mum, but you seem nice! Your guitar is neat. Oh! That's my sister, [Name], I believe you spoke on the phone.”
“We did,” Brian leaned forwards to shake your hand as well, “Its nice to meet you,”
A better teacher would have been hard to come by. Brian was patient and soft spoken, he worked at your brother’s pace, never rushing past anything he didn’t fully understand. The lesson was only an hour long but it seemed much shorter, with a book in tow you didn’t pay much mind to anything else. That was until you caught yourself glancing over the cover to watch the lesson. Brian was attractive and he had very nice hands. You were somewhat aghast you’d never seen him on campus, he seemed hard to miss.
The lessons became weekly, and despite trusting Brian and his roommate, Roger, you still opted to stay for every one. It was always pleasant, the apartment was nice, Brian was nice, and you had begun to get acquainted with his friends. During the third week, Roger had let it slip that they were in a band. Brian’s face had flushed scarlet and he’d played with his fingers as he explained that it wasn’t anything serious. On that same visit, you’d had a conversation with Roger in the kitchen while he got you a glass of water. He was nice, only half awake at the time, but you’d realized you had an evolution class together at school. He had also given you his number, and David would absolutely not let you hear the end of it.
“Please-” Your brother cried as he threw himself onto your sofa, “You haven’t had a boyfriend in ages. The last one was, what was his name?”
    You rolled your eyes, “Chet?”
“Chet Robbins! Chet the safe bet!”
“Chet the safe bet? Did you make that up?”
David smiled, very proudly, “I did! Just now actually, because it's true! Chet, the business student, trust fund child, frat boy. Why not date a drummer?”
    “Because I like stability David,”
“[Name] date the drummer. I beg, I plead. He was so into you, he gave you his number!”
“If you will recall, I have his number. Because his number is the apartment number and that's what I called for the lessons. I also refuse to date your teacher’s best friend. How would I approach that, ‘Hi Brian! You’re teaching my brother an instrument, I did your friend last night. How have you been?’”
David gasped in mock disgust, “I never said a word about doing him. You foul wench, I simply implied dinner. Maybe seeing one of his shows.”
“Oh my dear, when you date a drummer it's never just dinner.” You snorted.
“Well, when I date a drummer it will be. Only dinner, no foul play.”
“Please, please keep that attitude for the rest of your life.”
It was quiet as he mulled over your words. You started off, putting away your bag and coat when he abruptly sat up, “You don’t dislike the drummer, in fact, it has nothing to do with him. You don’t like my teacher’s best friend, you like my teacher.” He grinned when your face lit up, “Oh you do, you absolutely do! I’ve never seen you blush that hard.”
“You little twit,” You hissed, “If you say a word about this I will have your head. This stays between us and us only.”
David was sneaky, very sneaky. Your conversation had planted an idea in his head like a seed and every brief glance and soft smile you shared with his teacher was water. He was growing a downright devious plan, with you directly at the center of it.
David, after quietly looking over the house and picking up on Brian’s affinity for science fiction, had been the one to recommend you start reading George Orwell’s 1984. He had also purposely disappeared to the restroom when he caught sight of Brian eyeing the cover.
Brian carefully cleared his throat, “Do you read much Orwell?”
“Oh, Orwell? No, not really. I, um- I read The Road to Wigan Pier for a book club a while ago. Are you a fan?”
“Oh yes,” He smiled, leaning forwards, “I’ve read that, actually. I was in a band a few years back by the same name,”
You cocked your head, closing the book against your finger, “1984?”
“Yes, quite silly, I know. Never was much good at naming.”
“Roger said you’re in a band now, what's that called?”
His cheeks were beginning to pick up a soft pink again, “Um, Queen. Our singer named it-”
David sat back down, “Did I miss anything important?”
Brian looked away and you went back to your book. The only noise became the guitar residing between the two boys on the couch. David had learned enough to start on a song, I Walk the Line by Johnny Cash. It was recognizable enough to draw your attention, and it was lovely at first until it was all David played. When you returned home, when you visited your mother, he played it so much you had memorized the fingering to it.
It was at another lesson, several weeks later, when you had been left by your lonesome. David had gone to get a drink and Brian had run to retrieve something from his room. All alone and with nothing to tell you not to you settled into the couch with the guitar and tried at the song. It was choppy, a bit off-key, but mostly there.
“I didn’t know you played?” Brian’s voice was soft but you still jumped, shooting around to find him. Leaned against the back of the sofa he twirled a coin between his fingers, grinning down at you.
You swallowed, “I don’t, no, not really. Dave’s just played this so much I remembered how it looked.”
He propped his chin in his hand, “I think you could be quite good. Just, here-” He slipped the coin between his teeth to reach down, softly grasping your wrist, adjusting your placement on the neck. His hands were warm and it sent a shiver up your spine as he carefully moved your fingers, “That should do nicely, I trust you’ll do well with the right placement.” He was quiet for a moment, silently pondering something, “Friday night we have a show at about ten o’clock, say you come and maybe I could show you something on the guitar afterwards.”
    You considered, “Where is it?”
    “The Cameo, downtown London.”
“It sounds lovely, very, but I have to admit I’m not big on the downtown London clubs. I actually don’t know where that is. Although I do have a friend whos well versed with the scene, I could ask her to show me there?”
“Wonderful,” He grinned, “It's a date!” Something else David wouldn’t let go of. Usually, all he talked about was the music he learned but now he was enthralled with the prospect of a new romantic venture. You had been informed on exactly how to dress, what makeup to wear, what drink to order. He also picked the exact shade of blue for you to paint your nails.
You called Marilla after your mother picked David up and she had agreed, enthusiastically, to show you to the club. When she arrived you had been called ‘prudish’ and were forbidden to dress yourself. In the very back of your closet was a floral dress you’d bought for a wedding reception that never happened. It was supposed to be returned but you just hadn’t gotten around to it.
“It doesn’t scream rock n’ roll,” She inspected the green fabric under the kitchen light, “But anyone can look like Twiggy with enough eyeshadow so it’ll have to do. You should invest in club clothes, you might have to if anything goes with this guitar player.” Her eyebrows wagged.
You rolled your eyes, taking the dress from her, “Hush, you’re just as bad as David.”
“Your brother?” Marilla snorted, “What's he got to do with this?”
“He's an insufferable little shit, that's what-” You pushed off your top, “At first he tried to get me with the guitar player’s flatmate but when that didn’t work he really pushed Brian and I,”
Marilla was amused, far more amused than you, “He's a cunning thing, I’ve always liked him. Oh boy, now I really want to see your guitarist, Brian was it?”
The club pulsed, dull lights glaring down against everything. It was smokey and smelled of weed and whiskey. The band onstage was far too loud and you clung to Marilla’s hand as she pulled you up to the bar.
“What do you want?” She practically had to yell for you to hear but it went through you, you couldn’t think with all the noise and lights. She sighed and patted your hand, “A Moscow mule and a Roy Roger’s please.” She shouted at the bartender, “It's alright babes, no alcohol, just fancy cherry coke.” You nodded and accepted the drink, taking a tentative sip as you scanned the crowd. The band onstage had seemed to conclude their set but it didn’t make things any quieter. It was overwhelming really, moreso as Marilla started to pull you up to the front.
“Come on, it's almost ten. Your boy’ll be up next!” She settled in front of the stage, rooting you to the spot next to her.
Brian’s flatmate came out, twirling a drumstick between his fingers and he was met with loud cheers. Marilla whooped, waving big up at him. He was followed by the bass player, Brian, and the singer. They were all enthralling, and you were enraptured. The boys on stage looked ethereal, in flowy tops and sparkly makeup. The frontman was clad in glittery jewelry and the bass player wore platform boots. Their music drew you in and eased your nerves about how crowded the club was. The last song had a guitar solo and as he played Brian’s eyes met yours. A rose of warmth bloomed into your cheeks and he grinned, fingering at the chords.
Marilla, immune to none, elbowed you in the ribs, “That's him?!”
    You nodded, “It is,”
“Damn girlie! Good for you! But for the record, I think I like the drummer,”
“His name is Roger. If you come backstage with me you can meet him.”
She grinned, “I’m so proud of you, getting connections!” As they finished Roger flung one of his drumsticks into the crowd. You flinched as Marilla’s hand shot out. She squawked as she caught it, quickly tucking it into her pants and taking your hand, pulling you towards the back lounge. She pushed at the thin curtain to the side, slipping in.
It was quieter and you watched people in glamorous outfits dally about. A redhead in hot pants dropped onto the shabby leather sofa, passing glass bottles of something to both the drummer and bassist. The singer was swirling what you could only assume to be a cosmopolitan. He looked up, catching sight of you and Marilla, both looking a bit lost.
“Hello, come come!” The singer waved you over and Marilla practically dragged you.
“You are spectacular!” She raved, “All of you, magical!” She tugged the stick out of her waistband and made her way to the drummer.
You cleared your throat, “You really are amazing, you have a lovely voice.”
The brunette smiled, “Thank you! I’m Freddie by the way, our charming drummer is Roger. The lovely John plays bass and Brian should be around here somewhere, he plays the guitar.”
“It's nice to meet you, Freddie, I’m [Name]. I was actually looking for Brian,” You twiddled with your fingers, looking down, “He asked to meet here tonight. You wouldn’t happen to know where he is would you?”
“You know, he may have popped to the kitchen. I’ll show you,” Freddie stood up. He seemed to catch your hesitation, glancing back to Marilla, “I’ll keep an eye on her. Roggie really is no harm, he plays much bigger than he actually is, I don’t think he could hurt a soul. Not an undeserving one at least.” He started towards the kitchen with you in tow.
Aforementioned kitchen was small and shockingly clean. Your guitarist sat on the counter with a glass of water.
Brian seemed to be in his own world until Freddie caught his attention, “Someone’s been looking for you, my dear,”
Brian looked up, “[Name]! Hello, I’m so glad you came!” He slid off the counter setting his drink down, “Did you bring your friend?”
“I did, she’s become infatuated with Roger though.”
He grinned, “Oh Rog seems to do that to some people.”
“Well, I'll leave you to it!” Freddie called, waving and walking back to the lounge.
When the door shut Brian began to fiddle with the bottom of his shirt, “I left my guitar in the other room, I could go and grab it if you’d still like to learn that song.” He studied your face, “But you don’t look comfortable, are you alright?”
“Yes, this just isn’t really my scene. I’m not used to the noise and everything, there's a lot of people here.”
He smiled sympathetically, “I know, it's crowded. There's a nice little diner just down the road, we could walk there and talk if you’d like.”
You nodded, “Sure, that would be lovely.”
The air was crisp and it brought you back to reality from the club. Brian had lent you an extra sweater he had brought, it was warm but you had to roll the sleeves a few times. It was quiet as you walked, the occasional car rushing past. The sidewalk narrowed as you got closer to the strip of restaurants and you felt the back of Brian’s hand brush yours. You caught his fingers, lacing yours into them and nervously looking up. His expression mimicked yours, jittery and shy and totally taken.
“You look very pretty,” He murmured, thumbing over your knuckles, “That green looks very nice on you.”
You smiled, “Thank you, you look lovely as well.”
“Oh pish posh, this is just stage wear. But I’m glad you think it looks okay, Rog said I looked frumpy.”
You giggled, “Marilla, the one who brought me, called me prudish earlier.”
His laugh was soft, “Well, we can be fashion disappointments to our friends together,” He pulled open the door to MaryAnne’s Diner, holding it for you.
You were settled in a booth waiting for your order when Brian spoke, “David really has potential,”
“With the guitar? I’m not surprised, he's always been good at everything he tries. It's really quite annoying, how brilliant he is.”
“He seems so, a very nice kid. Does he live with you?”
“No no,” You smiled, “No he lives with our mum, he just sneaks out to see me more than he should. I don’t know if I ever thanked you for letting me sit in, I know it's not common practice. I just worry about him, he seems so much older than he actually is and I’m worried it’ll get him in trouble one day.”
Brian patted your hand, “Oh darling, I understand. I really don’t mind at all, I’m glad I met you.”
“I’m glad I’ve met you as well.”
He had walked you home, contently explaining the story behind one of the constellations he saw.
He stalled at the door, keeping your hand in his, “So I suppose I’ll see you next week?”
    “Absolutely,”
He moved one hand to push a piece of hair out of your face, “Well until then I suppose,”
You leaned up, closing in on him. You felt his hot breath against your cheeks, “Is this okay?”
He nodded, “More than,” And pulled you into him.
He was as gentle in kissing you as he was in everything else, carefully nudging his nose against yours. His mouth was warm and he stroked your mandible, easing deeper into the kiss. He relished in the taste of maraschino cherry from the Roy Roger’s you’d had earlier. You gasped softly as he nipped at your bottom lip, pulling away. The lipgloss he had been wearing was smeared against the corner of your mouth and he carefully wiped at it with his thumb.
David would never let you hear the end of this either.

I'll Forgive You
The Bad Batch angst
Second attack in the Great Angst War of 2021 between @icedcoffee101, @dragon-pups, @angstkings, @in-the-crosshairs, and @brekkers-girl (me)
Masterlist
TW: nothing really, implied experimentation on a human if you squint, it's just a load of angst, strong language
Word count: 655
Prompt/Inspo: what if they're all mindless drones without accelerated aging so they all have to serve longer and harder than any other clone that means more war crimes; and then what if they all have periods of time where they actually realize what they did and what they're doing and they can fight against the chip (@bonethief helped inspire this sudden burst of inspo)

"Tech, Tech what- what did we-"
"CT-9901, why are you up after hours?" Tech's annoyed voice sounded from his cot.
Hunter went through the day's mission... the lives he took... the villages he burnt to the ground. His lungs constricted and he ran his fingers through his shorter hair. When did he cut his hair? Why would he cut his hair? The room was too constricting, too bright, too loud, too much.
"CT-9901, it's 0200, go the fuck to sleep," a tired Wrecker complained from his bunk across the small room.
"Wrecker-"
"Go. The fuck. To sleep," Crosshair piped in from above Hunter's cot.
"Cross, those people..." Hunter's voice cracked.
Cross's angry face appeared over the side of the top bunk. "Do I need to call the kaminoans in here again?"
Hunter's eyes widened, remembering the last time he gained control from the chip. Cross's legs went over the side and he jumped down silently. Hunter, paralyzed with fear, couldn't stop him from pressing the button next to the door.
Soon after, the doors hissed open and the fluorescent lights shone through the open door, causing the rest of the batchers to groan in frustration.
The long-necked kaminoans stalked towards him with eerily grace, handing back and forth different tools they needed.
"No, please, don't-" Hunter jumped from the small cot and backed into the wall.
"No need to struggle, CT-9901, you won't remember any of this," Nala Se's smooth voice froze him in his place.
He couldn't fight his way out of this one... he never could before. He slumped against the cold wall, tears prickling in the corners of his eyes.
"Cross, where's Omega?"
“Do you really not remember, 9901? CT-9905 is down the hall, we can hear her screams on Tuesdays,” Cross sneered, climbing back up the latter to his bunk.
--
CT-9901 woke up at precisely 0700, as per usual. He tried to shake off a headache and dressed in the guard uniform Clone Force 99 had to wear on Tuesdays.
The clone force made their way to the left of the plain corridor, their journey through hyperspace to Kamino almost over. They stopped in front of the heavy sliding door and waited for CT-9905 to emerge.
The seconds turned to minutes, the minutes turn to hours before she came through the doors, struggling against the 2 other guards stationed in the medical room.
“Let me go! Let me go!” She screamed over and over, her cries quieting when she saw the familiar escort team.
“Hunter, please,” she whimpered, now letting loose the tears she was holding back.
“CT-9905, Nala Se requests your presence in the training room,” he replied, his words empty but his gun full and set to stun.
“Tech, Cross, please,” she was pushed out of the door frame by the guards behind her. Cross and Hunter grabbed her elbows, pulling her through the fluorescent light of the white hallways.
She struggled against them, kicking and screaming for them to help her. They kept their grip on her elbows, lifting her from the floor to faster transport her to the training facility. Tech led the way there with Wrecker behind them, an extra precaution to ensure CT-9905 didn’t escape.
They dragged her into the large, empty room, the seams on the walls Hunter guessed could open to reveal what was hidden behind the metal.
They let her scurry away from them, promptly walking back through the door and locking it.
“No, please! Hunter, Tech! Wrecker, don’t leave me here again! I’ll forgive you, just please come back!” They could hear her cries fading as they walked down the corridor to the mess hall. She banged on the door for minutes on end, never tiring, until she finally stopped.
They always wondered to themselves what the Kaminoians did to CT-9905, what they did to clones like her. They definitely wouldn’t find out anytime soon, or ever for the matter.
--
A/N: I really liked this concept of the clones having periods where they could remember what they did at random intervals, but they couldn't really do anything about it, it serves a lot of angst. I promise I'm not a heartless monster, just depressed and ptsd-y.
ANYWAYS, this is a sign to drink some water and go eat a small snack, you deserve it bestie 💕💕 love you all, stay safe!

 Bucky Barnes needed a vacation.
Needed, not wanted or desired, for it was what he required in order to function like a proper human being. Considering every bullshit he’s been through — the world war, the brainwashing, fighting for his life, dying and then being brought back to life — he was definitely entitled to a break.
After bringing everyone back, the team now strives to bring back order and peace. Bucky agreed to be part of the Avengers and SHIELD, but with a unique position. He’d train and prepare their recruits by whipping them into shape and go on missions only if he was deemed as an essential asset. The only reason he took that position because that was what Steve did as he passed down the title of Captain America to Sam. Stark too just became one of the representatives of the organization in order to focus on his family.
It was tricky at first — looking for food and water, source of electricity, gathering supplies, and having the money to do so. That’s when Tony suggested he put his a-framed house on an application called Airbnb. He was confused at first but his simple understanding was that someone would pay him if he agreed to share his house for a given number of days.
The suggestion worked well. Most of those who booked stayed one day and one night, the longest someone stayed was two days and a night. And it wasn’t because he used to be the Winter Soldier and they feared him, but simply because they needed a place to stay before heading up further into the mountains.
Despite the house having three bedrooms, Bucky only posted one being available. The other two bedrooms he prohibited the guests to stay on, even to enter, since those were reserved for him and Steve. Vacationers who stayed in here were very much respectful of his wishes and didn’t pry further more.
As he was watering the selection of plants, vegetables, and fruits that he has, he felt his phone vibrate in his back pocket. Setting the watering can down, he pulled out his phone and noticed how there was notification saying that someone booked the available bedroom he had.
“Booked for 2 weeks?” He read out loud the details of how long the stay of his upcoming visitor would last. It was odd to say the least, but who was he to judge someone for their stay? Tucking the phone back to his pants, he noticed how Alpine was drinking from the watering can he put down, he stroked her fur and smiled when he purred and nuzzled her face further into his palm, “Looks like we’ll have someone staying with us for quite a while, Al,” the 3 month old kitten simply looked up at him and purred once more, “Be a good girl for me alright?”
Following the notice that someone was gonna stay in his house for two weeks, Bucky busied himself in preparing the house — which took only two days for him to do so. He made sure that the rented bedroom was cleaned and that the bed sheets were changed and cleaned. Cleaning up Alpine’s hairballs and fallen furs was something he also did in preparation.
Tumblr media
It was a sunny Tuesday morning and he was sitting down on one of the patio chairs, reading a book with Alpine on his lap, when he heard a car pulling up. Setting the book down on the small patio table, he took in the Jeep Wrangler that was parking, but what really caught his attention was who stepped out of the car.
“Hi, I’m Y/N! Are you Bucky? The one who owns the place I’ll be renting for the next two weeks?” Her tone was gentle and friendly, but it was her smile that really captured Bucky’s attention even more. Shakily, he replied, “Yeah, it’s me. Nice to meet you,” he held out his right hand — his other hand had a glove to conceal the metal — for her to shake, to which she shook his hand.
“Oh there’s the cat you mentioned,” she unclasped her hand with his and took note of the fur ball that was standing beside Bucky — it was just really her way of getting his attention and wanting more rubs. “Oh yeah, this is Alpine, hope you’re not allergic or anything?” he wondered as he picked Alpine up and massaged her face a bit, to which she purred loudly.
Y/N chuckled at the scene in front of her, “Not allergic, just wasn’t around cats a lot so I’m not used to them.” Bucky admired her honesty and assured her, “Well don’t worry about her, she’s extremely well-behaved.”
Usually, the guests had no problem bringing in their things from their respective cars and into their room. But there was something about her aura and personality that made him want to stay close to her as much as he could. So he suggested that he help her in bringing in her items. “Did you run away or something? Because I’m telling you now, near the mountains might not be the ideal place to do so,” he joked as he carried two of her duffel bags. As he opened the door to where she’d be sleeping for almost half a month, he put down her bags on top of the dresser.
Y/N set down the backpack and messenger bag she had near the night side table, “Well if the mountains aren’t ideal, then why are you here then?” she retorted back as she sat down on the edge of the bed. Bucky leaned on the dresser and crossed his arms and looked at her with wonder, “So you’re gonna turn this back on me huh?” he teased her.
To which she giggled at, “I’ll tell you my reason for staying here for two weeks if you tell me how you ended up here,” she persuaded him. He sighed dramatically and smiled right after hearing her laugh again at his antics, “The simple answer? I’m here for a vacation. A much needed and a long overdue one at that. How about you?”
She pursed her lips and nodded, she felt that maybe there was more to that but didn’t want to seem nosy so she explained her stay, “Well I’m here to test out some mountain and hiking equipment. It’s my work actually we’re this company that advertises and reaches out to endorsers and tells them about certain products like that one,” she pointed to the duffel bags behind him, “I get to test them, give them an honest review of the products and then let them know.”
“Huh, that’s a unique job,” he said as he ran his hand on his stubbled chin, “Well, I’m gonna let you settle down for now. Feel free to roam around the house, the other two bedrooms are the only ones off-limits,” he informed her and started to make his way out of the bedroom when he heard her call out, “Thanks, Bucky! You’re a great host, so far. Just let me know when I annoy you too much!”
Though it was meant to be a joke, the super soldier thought to himself, Don’t think you will ever annoy me, baby girl.
Tumblr media
Before it was even noon, Bucky found himself preparing pasta. What was unusual, is that he was making food enough for the both of them. Usually, he wouldn’t go out of his way to prepare meals for his guests; but he would allow them to use the kitchen as they please as long given that they clean it up after and place things back as they were. But there was something about Y/N that inspired him to make an effort.
Just as he turned the stove off and closed the lid with his left hand that had an oven mitt, he heard footsteps coming from the stairs, and he looked up to see her descending form and smiled warmly at her, “I cooked some pasta, just if you wanna eat or something,” he nervously mumbled as she finally stopped on the opposite side of where he was and sat down on one of the bar stools. “Smells good, I’d love to have a bite if you will too.”
Bucky then brought out two bowls and as he filled them with pasta, Alpine was clawing at his feet and her paws felt a bit warm to his legs that were exposed since he was wearing basketball shorts. As he handed her one of the bowls, he bent down and tucked his beloved kitten onto the sweater he wore, so her head was the only thing seen as it dangled from the neckline of his sweater. “That’s adorable! She just really loves you doesn’t she?” Y/N cooed watching how the kitten peacefully closed her eyes and snuggled closer to Bucky even though he walked around before sitting down beside her, she noticed as well how he didn’t care to remove the mitt on his left hand.
“I was surprised as well with how she loved human touch, which made me think that she isn't a cat but instead a dog, actually,” he shared as she looked at Y/N and smiled as she laughed as she ate. “Though I am curious as to why you’re wearing a sweater when it’s one of the hottest days of July?” As soon as the question left her mouth, she felt how there had been a shift in the atmosphere. How the fun and breezy energy they both were radiating earlier had been converted into something that was stiff and somber.
“I mean, you don’t really need to tell me,” she assured him right away, her right hand reaching for his left forearm and she gently caressed it even though she found it odd how his arm seemed to be more rigid than it looked like, “I was just worried that you might get too hot to the point of dehydration or heat stroke or something like that.” Bucky nodded and went back to ingesting the meal he cooked.
“You’re already hot, but I don’t want you to be too hot to the point you combust,” that comment of hers was something she muttered lowly. But it wasn’t soft enough to get past his super soldier hearing, “Did you say something?” Bucky asked and he tried his best for his facial features to not give away the fact that he heard her clearly. With wide eyes, she just shook her head and quickly filled her mouth with pasta to avoid explaining what it was she said.
Deciding to spare her from shame and embarrassment, he decided to change the topic by asking, “Do you have an itinerary for today?” He looked at her and saw how she had already finished her pasta and was making a move to wash her bowl and utensils, “I’m planning to go for a bit of hike — to test out some items like trekking poles, water jug, backpack, and this windbreaker they made me try out.”
“That sounds fun,” Bucky commented as he placed the fork on his bowl, waiting for her to finish cleaning up, “Would you wanna tag along with me?” as she looked up to ask him, she looked nervous. Perhaps she was filled with doubts and hesitation that she might seem invasive of his privacy, and indeed, that was what she was thinking about.
Smiling warmly at her, Bucky expressed his desire to join her in the hike, “I’d love to join you, doll.”

45 minutes had already passed since they started their hike and there was probably a few more minutes before they would finally reach the higher portion of the mountain. “I think it’s great you agreed to come along with me, Bucky,” the super soldier heard her mention behind him. He was taking the lead and guiding her as she followed him and held on to her trekking poles to stabilize her. “Why’d you think that, doll?” He looked back to her and held his right hand for her to take, to which she did and helped her go higher than to where she was currently.
She let out a breath, which made him chuckle at her antics, “Well for one, I wouldn’t have an amazing tour guide,” she teased him as she jokingly nudged his abdomen with her finger. Normally, Bucky would flinch or turn away when someone he doesn’t really know or is not completely familiar with touches him, especially when it was the metal arm. But this was already the third time she’d touch her and in those three times he did once did not find it uncomfortable.
“And second, I’d get lonely during this trip,” she concluded as she smiled brightly at him. “I’m glad to have joined you as well, doll.” The nickname he gave her made her blush to which he thought that the rose color looked good on her. “And I don’t know if you noticed, but there’s an amazing view behind me. So enjoy the view, doll.” When Bucky moved to the side, that was when Y/N had a chance to fully see the view, and it was unlike anything she has ever seen. The clear lake was breathtaking & the clouds were scattered in the sky though it did not shelter the sunlight. “Wow,” she breathed out and turned to her host and tilted her head when he saw his gloved hands reaching for his backpack and getting a blanket and laid it on the ground. As he sat on it, he patted the spot beside him, a cue for her to take the spot.
Putting her backpack down, she placed the trekking poles beside it before settling on the spot the man beside her patted. “You come here often?” she inquired, she was pretty sure he did since he knew how to get there quickly and safely. “Not everyday, just when I’m bored with housework,” he said as he took off the glove in his right hand.
She nodded and went to get the thermos from her backpack, as well as some chips and chocolates that she offered him, to which the super soldier opted for the chocolate. “So it means you are always here then huh?” she joked to which he laughed loudly, and she thought how adorable it was to see him crinkle the side of his eyes as he carelessly threw his head back in laughter. “I’m serious! You can only do so much housework before you get bored in your house!” she argued.
“Honestly, I’d rather be bored,” Bucky started as he munched on the chocolate she’d given, “For the longest time I was always busy, to put it nicely. And it’s a relief to be ridden of exhausting responsibilities.” Her heart ached at what he said, she might have not fully known what his work was but she could feel the exasperation in his voice. “Sorry for what I said, I was just teasing you,” she offered him a small smile.
Tickling her sides, he relished in the giggles she released, “I know, we don’t need to bring the mood down,” he assured her, “So, what is your review so far of the items you have?” His mention of it did remind her how she needed to take note of how she was satisfied or dissatisfied with the products, shuffling through the things in her backpack, she reached for the notebook which housed the feedback she had for different products.
Writing down her remarks, she also voiced it out for Bucky to hear, “The water jug did keep my water cold. Backpack’s material was not too heavy but it was able to fit all of my items. And this windbreaker,” she struck a pose which once again made Bucky laugh and it made her feel good to know that she can get him to laugh, “Did make me sweat but it’s too thin it’s making me chilly.”
Just as she mentioned how the windbreaker failed to prevent her from feeling cold, there was a gust of cool wind that when she felt it graze her skin, made her visibly shiver. Bucky didn’t like how she frowned on the sensation of being hit with the frosty breeze and wrapped her arms around herself; despite only wearing his sweater and a jacket, he didn’t have to react the same way thanks to the serum. He moved behind her and pressed his chest against her back, wrapping both his arms around her; his right hand wrapped around her stomach while the left hand rested on her thigh.
A sharp intake of breath signified how she was taken aback, but she didn’t find it awkward and instead she found herself instinctively leaning against his chest until the top of her head was just right under his chin. “Is this alright?” she wondered to him, and when she sounded so small, so vulnerable. As he smiled, he comforted her, “Wouldn’t have come close to you if it wasn’t alright, now would I?”
To hide the blush starting to form, she turned away from him and began to write on her notebook about her observations. They sat comfortably in silence; Bucky’s eyes wandered around the scenery, while Y/N was heavily focused on writing the feedback for the different products she got to try so far. The hand on her thigh that was gently caressing her and the steady yet strong heartbeat of the man behind her provided her with a sense of tranquility unlike anything she ever felt.
Leaving the pen on the inside of the notebook, she closed it and placed it beside her backpack. While still looking at the lake she shared with him, “I’ve always wanted to live by the lake.” Not having enough of her warmth and wanting to be close to her, he pushed himself even closer to her, to the point their thighs were now touching each other. “Yeah? Why’s that?”
She shrugged her shoulders and leaned back so the back of her head touched his right shoulder, “Always loved being in the water — whether I’m swimming or rowing a boat. Doesn’t matter what as long as I’m near the water I’m the happiest there.” As she said that he couldn’t help as his mind was filled with the images of the two of them living together and going for daily trips to the lake. And how they’d probably end up fucking or making love by the lake.
Managing to bring himself back to the present, Bucky suggested, “Why not live with me then? That way you’ll always be a few minutes away from the lake.” Her laugh was so loud that he felt the vibrations of it through his chest with how close they were. “Don’t wanna burden you forever, you know? But maybe when I’ve saved enough and I don’t know, have the ability to work from home, I might just move near a lake.”
He frowned at her thought that she considered himself a burden. They’ve spent almost a day and yet he knew in himself how he wanted to spend every day of his life with her. It might seem too soon for that, but he argued that he felt safe with her. That she made him happy. But there was this thought that lingered on his mind; that he was just deprived of affection for the longest time and now that someone’s been showering him with it, he doesn’t want to go a day without experiencing it ever again.
“Well, you’re always welcome in my house, it’s not really much of a home to me anyway,” the optimism in the first part was overshadowed by the sadness in the latter part of his statement. She looked over at Bucky and was saddened to see how his shoulders dropped and there was a sad smile on his lips, “What?” Because what else could she really say?
His eyes refused to meet her concerned orbs, and instead looked at anything but her. “With everything I’ve been through and done, it would be difficult for me to find someone to settle down with.” Upon hearing this, Y/N felt glum with Bucky's response and with how he looked as he said it. She held his right hand and squeezed it reassuringly, “Whatever it is you’ve done and been through is in the past. I’m sure that you’ve changed and grown from who you once were. You deserve to be happy, Bucky.”
What if I wanna be happy with you, baby? He thought to himself for a few seconds, and in a split second decision, he unclasped their hands and reached to where his left hand was still wrapped with a glove. “I’m going to be showing you something, and before you can ask me anything, I’d rather get everything off my chest first, alright?” Y/N looked uneasy yet at the same time curious with what he was going to open up to her.
Untangling his arms from her warmth, he first took care of removing the jacket he wore. She turned to face him and was eager to ask questions but chose to remain silent. As he placed the jacket on top of his bag, he removed the glove that shielded her from fully seeing the lack of flesh on his left hand and instead was greeted with metal.
Y/N lets out a loud gasp as she looks down on the prosthetic arm Bucky had. As her gaze shifted from his hand to his eyes, the super soldier could see how her face wrinkled not in pity, but in worry and concern. What happened? Who did this to you? Did it hurt? Are you still in pain? Those were the four questions that were loitering her mind and Bucky somehow had the idea that those were the things that she had in mind.
“I don’t know if you know, but I was the Winter Soldier. HYDRA, an evil organization, brainwashed me and made me do their dirty work. When they found me, I had fallen off a ravine which made me lose my arm. They gave me a metal one, to make me stronger and more invincible I guess.” Even though he only provided her a summary of what he’s been through, he failed to realize how a few stray tears escaped his eyes. Dainty and delicate fingers wiped his tears away and he smiled at the action.
They both were silent for a few moments, the hundred year old man was bracing himself for the moment Y/N was going to bid him adieu, and he wouldn’t blame her for who would want someone with so much baggage? “You said it yourself, Bucky, you were brainwashed,” she soothed him as her hands settled on his stubbled cheeks and her touch was feather-like and was giving him comfort unlike any other, “That wasn’t what you wanted to do. They forced you to do it. I’m sorry that that happened to you, but you don’t need to let your past define how your future will turn out to be. You’re free now, you take control of your fate.”
She ended her statement by placing a warm kiss on his forehead; the action had Bucky smiling and looking at her sheepishly with crimson in his cheeks. “You’re too kind, doll,” he shyly responded to her assurance. “I meant every word, Bucky. You deserve to be happy,” she then hugged him tight, her smaller frame snuggling into his larger one. With the side of her face resting on his chest and his chin resting on the top of her head, she failed to see how Bucky was smiling widely as a thought and plan came into his mind. I will be happy, baby. Soon, with you.

Following their small heart-to-heart talk, they both went home just as the sun set — not before taking a few pictures of course, mostly of Y/N because Bucky loved how the combination of pink and yellow complimented her skin — so he wanted to take photographs to remind him of this lovely memory. And as they both went home, they bonded even more as they ate dinner.
The following day, however, they both didn’t get to spend as much time as Bucky would have wanted. She told him during breakfast how today she’ll try the pocket WiFi that was given to her. And in the process of doing so she would be having meetings with some of her co-workers. Instead of sulking around, the war veteran tended to his garden, harvesting the vegetables and plants that he deemed were already ready to be eaten, he also washed and dried his laundry, and cleaned Alpine’s litter box.
By the time he had done all his chores, it was already quarter to 5 pm when he settled on continuing to read the book on the porch with Alpine once again laying on his lap. Today’s heat had been more cruel than it was yesterday and with his lovely guest not knowing about the truth of his left arm, he traded the long sleeves for a tank top paired with basketball shorts. Just as he was reading about the climax of the novel, he heard the front door opening and footsteps approaching him, “Hey Bucky, how you doing?”
The mentioned man placed his book down on the table and turned to her with a smile, “Busied myself with housework. Are you done with your test and meetings?” He hoped that she was done with her work, he already missed spending time with her and he wondered that maybe this was what Alpine felt like whenever she wanted to be snuggling next to Bucky. “Yeah I’m done for today! And I was thinking that maybe I can cook something? Was there something you’d like to have for dinner?”
The cheeky part of him thought of telling her how he’d love to have her for dinner but decided he did not want to creep her out. “Surprise me with you culinary skills, doll,” he challenged her and he chuckled with how she responded, “You bet! I’ll make a meal that will make you forget your name with how good it is!”
Throughout the entire time that she made the meal, he kept her company and the conversation between the two flowed effortlessly. Every possible topic that they could talk about, you can bet that they talked about it. And even as they were both eating supper, they both shared more about their personal life. Bucky shared about how things were back in the 40’s and how he missed dancing.; while she shared more about her family and the different jobs she had.
One thing that Bucky was more than pleased to find out was that she was single and had not been dating anyone for a while. After dinner, Y/N found herself wanting to sleep right away due to exhaustion of her work-filled day. But before she did, she asked Bucky if it was alright for them to go back to the lake since she wanted to go for a swim, to which he replied with, “If it’ll make you happy, doll, then I’ll do it.” She masked the giddiness she felt by telling him goodnight and how she couldn’t wait to go.
As the super soldier laid down on his bed, he couldn’t prevent the goofy grin forming on his lips as he recalled how close he got with one of his guests. He never imagined how she could have made this impact on him in a short amount of time. Though he failed to bond with her for the majority of the day, he reassured himself that tomorrow — and possibly the next few days — they’d both get to make up for it. But there was something inside him that seemed too impatient to wait, and instead was extremely eager to start compensating for the time they failed to spend with each other.
Which led him to where he was right now; walking out of his bedroom as he strides with purpose and like a possessed man making his way to where the girl who plagued his mind currently was peacefully sleeping. Quietly, he opened the door just enough for him to take a peek to see if she was startled by the action even though Bucky did so with caution. Not noticing any movement or reaction, he opened the door wide enough to allow himself to enter and closed it as he welcomed himself in her room. Standing at the foot of the bed, he couldn’t help but admire her sleeping form; she was laying on her right side with her right hand pressed to her cheek and her left arm propped down on her waist. He noticed how the end of the blanket that was draped over was along the middle region of her thighs, exposing her lower legs.
He stood there, marveling at how peaceful and how pure she looked. He imagined himself snuggling her frame and providing her with warmth whenever the night got too chilly. Or how he wouldn’t mind her using his metal arm as her pillow as long as he got to run his fingers through her skin in an attempt to lull her to sleep. Or how he would whisper sweet nothings and words of assurance to her should she awake due to a nightmare.
The wholesome and loving thoughts he had took a different turn when her left hand unconsciously  bunched up the sheets and moved it away from her body, which exposed her unclothed body to the hungry eyes of Bucky. She laid there with no clothing of any kind and the blanket — which was now pooling between her under boob and just below her navel — now barely concealed her body. His gaze was now roaming around her body and hungirly took in the view; her breasts looking as if it was the most delectable thing he’d ever seen with her gum drop nipples all stiff due to the wind, her luscious legs were just begging to be touched and worshiped, and her cunt, that though he couldn’t properly get an entire view of due to how she was facing the wall but from from where he stood he can see how pretty and enticing it was with how she chose to groom it.
One thing that he was more than grateful for is that her ass was fully exposed and should he choose to sit on the chair that was right across where she laid, he would have gotten a great view of it; and so he did. Sitting down on the chair, he found himself lowering the boxer shorts he wore that suddenly became too tight for his cock that hardened. “Fuck,” he hissed as he began to slowly stroke himself, teasing himself and wanting to savor the view that he had.
From slowly running his hand up and down his shaft, those strokes became fast as his mind was filled with images and scenarios of him taking Y/N in various ways.
“Fuck Bucky, harder,” she moaned as she felt Bucky’s grips on her hips tighten before he controlled her body to match his thrusts, moving her along as he slid in and out of her as a response to her plea. Wanting to feel more of her, one of his hands left her hips to grip her shoulder and pull her to him so her back was pressed against his sweaty chest; to keep her steady and against his chest, the hand on her shoulder detached from her shoulder and moved to hold on to her breast, pulling and tugging on the swollen nipple.
“That what you want, baby girl? Need me to fuck you hard?” He teased her as her whines increased at the assault he was doing to her. She just nodded her head rapidly, but that wasn’t enough for Bucky, he let go of her breast and slapped both of them hard enough to elicit a reaction out of her, “I wanna hear you say it! Say you like getting fucked hard like a slut!”
“I love it! I love how you’re fucking me like a slut, Bucky!” she moaned out loud and found herself hooking her hand to his hand that wasn’t on her hip. The man simply smirked at how much of a wreck she was and he loved it.  She guided his hand to her neck and his smirk became even more sinister and he let her know his appreciation, “Yeah you’re just a filthy girl aren’t you,” his grip on her neck tightened and he felt her tighten and got the hint that she was close,  “And since I love my filthy girl, why don’t you come for me?”
Bucky knew he was nearing his climax, but he decided that the visual wasn’t enough for him; he needed the actual thing. Completely undressing himself, he walked towards where she was laying and turned her gently so she now laid on her back. “Goddamn you’re beautiful, baby,” he whispered as he kneeled on the bed and his knees were on the sides of her body. He stretched her left leg to the outside of his right knee, her inner thigh grazing his knee. While he lifted her right leg and let it rest on his shoulder.
Rubbing his right hand on her clit, he felt how wet she already was and slid a finger in, moving his finger around, he took note of how she was completely drenched. “I guess you pleasured yourself before sleeping huh?” Pulling his finger out and bringing it to his lips, his suspicion was confirmed as he tasted her sweet juices.
“This’ll be easier then,” he sighed as he pushed his cock in and slid in one swift motion thanks to her juices. He stared off with slow and long thrusts, checking to see if she’ll wake up — thankfully she didn’t. He then took this as his queue to give her harder thrusts, pulling out until his tip lightly brushes the opening of her tight canal and pushing all the way in with force until his balls were pressed tightly against her ass.
“Can’t wait for you to enjoy this when you’re awake doll,” Bucky rasped out in between his thrusts, which were now slowly becoming faster. The speed of his hips were causing the bed to shake and he feared that if it weren’t for his actions, then maybe the sound of the bed hitting the wall would cause her to regain consciousness. But she was so deep in her slumber that she didn’t.
“Gonna cum, gonna cum inside of you. Will mix my juices with yours,” Bucky moaned lowly. And he felt his climax nearing that his judgement was clouded and his sole focus was to let himself go. So he moved around in the bed until his feet hit the floor and spread her both legs wide open to the sides, all without pulling himself out.
Placing his hands on both her inner thighs, he pressed them down and didn’t hold back as he slammed his cock in and out of her pussy. His pelvis met her thighs with each thrust, his hands tightly holding on to her thighs which somehow made her clench down on him even more, his eyes hungrily taking in the sight of her breasts bouncing along with the power of his hips, and the tip of the iceberg was when she began letting out small and quiet whimpers.
“Shit, you’re squeezing me so well baby,” he breathed out as he slammed himself inside her and stayed planted in here as he felt himself release his load. Head thrown back and panting loudly, she whimpered a little and was clenching her pussy which milked even more of Bucky’s seed. She must be dreaming of someone fucking her, God I hope it’s me she’s thinking about, Bucky thought as he pulled his cock out until only the tip was inside her; he stroked the part of his cock that wasn’t inside her, making sure that every last drop of his seed didn’t drip into the bed and was instead all inside her.
After taking a few minutes to recover, he pulled out completely and positioned her in the bed prior to how she was before he came in. He grabbed his discarded boxers and put them on him. Before walking out of the room he went back to the bed, leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead, “Can’t wait to swim with you baby girl.”

Arising from her sleep, Y/N stretched her body and rubbed the sleepiness off her eyes. She couldn’t help but grin at the memories of how she pleasured herself before she drifted off to dreamland and when she did, her subconscious was somehow able to project a scenario wherein she was getting railed by Bucky. The mention of his name in her mind had her blushing; she brought her fingers down to her pussy to inspect the aftermath of her masturbation and was surprised to see how wet she was and how much she orgasmed.
Before making her way down to greet her host, she first dressed up in her bikini, however she didn’t want to walk down right away only with the flimsy pair, so she wore a tank top and a pair of shorts on top of the swimwear. Making her way down the stairs, she saw Bucky relaxing on the couch and was on his phone, “Good morning, Bucky. Did you sleep well?”
She plopped herself down at the armchair opposite where Bucky was sitting, and the metal-armed man fumbled to pocket his phone and turn his attention to the girl who warmly greeted him. “I slept peacefully, doll. Where are you headed all dressed up like that?”
“I was hoping we could have brunch by the lake? And then swim afterwards?” She shyly suggested and it was adorable for the veteran to see her all shy and flustered, he didn’t have it in him to reject her idea. “That’s a great idea, doll! I’ve already prepared some food that I can just pack up in tupperwares,” just as he was about to head to the kitchen to do so she stood quickly and told him, “I can do it! My bag’s all ready and I’m dressed up so I can do all those while you get ready.”
He smiled and thanked her for volunteering, he let her know where the tupperwares and picnic baskets were before heading up to change. As he was changing in his room into a navy tank top along with a pair of shorts, he decided that today was the day. He was gonna make his move and let him know that he wants her here with him.

The drive to the lake had been peaceful; Bucky offered to drive and she accepted so she was left to admire the scenery as they both traveled to their destination. Once Y/N caught a glimpse of the lake, she had already been fumbling to unbuckle her seatbelt and before Bucky had fully parked the car, the front passenger door was already being opened and the woman beside him carried her bag as she excitedly ran towards the dock.
“You’re gonna hurt yourself, doll! Be careful!” He called out to her as he switched off the engine and moved to grab the picnic basket at the backseat. Catching up to where she was standing near the edge of the dock, she turned to him and smiled, “I’m sorry, I just get really excited when I see the water. Plus, it’s been forever since I got to swim,” her exaggeration in the apology had him chuckling and he simply put the basket down and took out the blanket he had and laid it out.
Kneeling down, Bucky then rummaged through the items on the basket, “What do you wanna eat, doll? Want to have some muffins? I also have some bacon if you want,” he looked up to see that his lovely doll was stripping off her top and bottoms, with her back facing him. She folded her clothes and placed it on top of her bag, she turned to him and smiled, “I don’t wanna eat, I want to swim first.”
The super soldier barely got to process the words that left her mouth as he was admiring the swimsuit she was wearing, “That’s a pretty bikini you have there, doll,” he mindlessly blurted out. She blushed at the praise and he noticed as well how she rubbed her luscious thighs and it got him thinking that maybe she had a praise kink. “It’s one of the eight swimsuits they sent me,” was all she said before she waived and ran towards the end of the dock and jumped as she splashed down on the lake.
Fuck, one of eight swimsuits? She’s trying to kill me. He thought to himself as he felt his cock start to harden at the thought of seeing her in her swimwear and possibly railing her as she wears it. But first, he thought he had to eat up before making those plans and desires come true.

Y/N was having fun just swimming around. The lake had clear and clean water. She was able to see her feet and the sandy floor through the water. The lack of seaweeds and other aquatic plants on the lake was something she was thankful for since she loathed swimming around and feeling something grazing her leg.
Quite some time had already passed since Y/N began swimming and Bucky was just sitting there as he ate and was staring at her every movement. “Come join me, Bucky! The water’s not too cold, it’s perfect!” he smiled and put the muffin he was munching on down and moved to take his shirt off.
Her mouth hung agape and a little bit of drool came out of her mouth as she gazed on the man’s body. He was toned and defined; her fingers ached to run it through his wide chest and shoulders and she would have also loved to feel his bulging arms wrapped around her. She was snapped out of her thoughts as she heard a big splash and felt the water moving against her.
“Hi there, beautiful,” having this Adonis of a man face her and greet her sweetly had her giggling. “Good for you to join me; was starting to think you didn’t know how to swim that’s why you didn’t wanna join me,” her accusation had him gasping and feigning hurt. “You really think that lowly of me, doll?”
Y/N swam away from Bucky, creating some distance between them; this had the man tilting his head to the side in curiosity. “Don’t tell me you’re easily hurt by that! I wonder what happens if I challenge you to a splash fight?” Just as she said that she began to flick her wrists to splash some water in Bucky’s direction.
They both were giggling as they both began to soak each other with water. After a while they both stopped and Y/N let her arms float on the water as she stared at the man adoringly; while he thought that it was finally time to speed things up. Swimming towards her, he erased the distance between them and held both her hands against his chest. He felt her breath quicken and she was staring at him with wide and inquisitive eyes.
Lifting both her wrists, he placed a long and sensual kiss on the insides of her wrists. A sharp intake of breath was heard from her lips and he rested her forearms on his shoulders as his flesh hand pulled her closer to him by the hips while his metal hand gently caressed her cheek, “Had your fun already, baby girl?”
With a flushed face she nodded and pursed her lips together, “Don’t do that princess, that’s my job,” Bucky reprimanded her as he brushed his metal thumb in her lips but quickly moved the hand towards the nape of her neck and pulled her close for their lips to collide. He swallowed her whimper of shock and took the opportunity to let his tongue inside her mouth.
Slanting his head, he deepened the kiss as his flesh hand moved to wrap her thigh around his hips in order to get their bodies as close as possible and to feel every inch of her. Bucky smirked as he felt her tongue dancing along with the direction of his tongue and when he felt her hands cup his cheeks he couldn’t hold himself back from placing both his hands to grab her bikini-covered bum and grind her core to his.
“Oh God,” she whimpered against his lips, as if she was starting to pull away; but Bucky didn’t want her to do so, so he chased her lips with his and planted it firmly against her, leaving her no room but to comply with what he wanted.
Her hands traveled down from his cheeks to his neck and down to his shoulders, where she anchored herself to separate her tongue from roaming around his mouth. Her chest was heaving up and down as she stared down at Bucky who was loving this out of breath and dazed state she was in, “What was that?”
Her question made him chuckle darkly before teasing her, “That was just a preview of what’s to come, baby,” this just confused her even more and she tilted her head but he simply removed his hands from her body and she whined at the loss of contact — which Bucky thought as completely adorable — but he kissed her forehead, “Enjoy your swim doll, a few more minutes then we go home, got it?” She nodded and watched as he swam his way to the docks and busied himself with drying himself up and packing up their picnic.
She shrugged off the million thoughts racing through her head and decided that swimming would probably help her clear her head.
Something in the air shifted as they both were driving home after spending nearly two hours by the lake. While keeping his eyes on the road, Bucky’s metal hand was on the steering wheel while his flesh hand was gripping and caressing Y/N’s thighs. He loved how she didn’t flinch when he did so and instead she enveloped his hand with both her thighs.
Upon arriving back at the home, Bucky opened the car door for her and she smiled and thanked him. As he went to retrieve the picnic basket, his doll went ahead to get inside the house and it was finally time for him to make his move.
Placing the basket down on the floor without a care, he grabbed her hand as she was headed for the stairs; her bag falling off her shoulders as a result. “Bucky,” she was cut off as Bucky planted his lips against her and pulled her by the hips to feel her skin against his. She moaned out loud and he smirked as he once again let his tongue inside her and began to roam her insides and massaged her tongue with his.
“I fucking need you, baby,” he rasped out without fully disconnecting his lips from hers, “You gonna let me have you?” she whimpered and simply nodded. This made Bucky happy, and to show his appreciation, he kissed her neck and her collarbones as his hands quickly ripped the material of her shirt against her. A loud gasp was let out, and it informed the man who was vigorously kissing her that she was turned on with what he did.
Placing his hands behind her hips, he guided her walk with him to the couch with his lips still attached to her hot skin. They both worked to remove her of her shorts before Bucky was pushing her to sit down on the couch. “Don’t take your bra off, remove those panties, I wanna see your ass,” he commanded as his eyes roamed around her body as he took his shirt and shorts off, revealing that he didn’t have any underwear on.
“Press your cheek against the sofa and put your ass up in the air for me, princess,” he groaned upon seeing her full ass on display. He smacked both her cheeks at the same time and chuckled as she shook her ass in response. One hand had a firm grip on her hip while the other stroked his cock and teased the tip on her clit. “You ready, baby? Want to feel my cock inside you?”
She nodded, “Yes please, Bucky, I need to feel you push your cock inside me,” by the end of her whining he had already slid inside her and pushed it all the way until she felt his balls slap against her ass. She let out a dragged moan as he let out profanities and praises about how she enveloped him well.
Pulling his hips back, he thrust right back in which made her moan once again. His other hand was now teasing her clit by rubbing it and he felt her coat his cock with more of her juices. “God, you feel like heaven, princess. Wrapping your tight pussy around me so good,” he threw his head back but his hips were doing the opposite. His pelvis was slamming deep and fast against her that her ass was feeling the friction of his trimmed pubic hair.
“It’s so good, Bucky. Love how you’re pounding me,” the praise and small amount of dirty talk was enough for Bucky to groan and drive his hips even deeper and stronger, if that was even possible. “Fuck you’re so dirty, doll. My dirty doll, right?” he asked as he wrapped a handful of her hair against him and pulled her against him; her back against his chest and he could her chest heaving as she struggled to catch her breath.
Untying her bra, he tossed it on the floor and both his hands began to twist, pinch, pull, and flick on her nipples. Palming her breasts, he continued to spur him on with his words, “Who knew how much of a filthy princess you were huh? That you were really a slut wanting to get fucked?” she whined out loud and this prompted Bucky to sit down on the couch and drag her with him; ending up in a position that would allow her to ride him. “Ride me, bitch. Ride  me ‘til we both cum,” he was surprised with how she eagerly responded to his command.
She leaned back and planted her hands on his abs and began to lift her body up and down, moving her pussy in and out of his cock. With one hand resting at the back of his head, the other was slapping her ass that was bouncing up and down on him. “Only a slut like yourself knows how to ride a cock this good, baby,” his statement ended with a groan as she stopped her bouncing and was instead sitting with his cock fully inside her, and she began to move in slow and hard circles. As if she was grinding on his dick.
“God, I’m so close, you got me near my edge, slut,” Bucky groaned and slapped both her ass cheeks at the same time, “Face me, baby. Turn around and face me, without leaving my cock.” He grinned as she halted her movements and twisted her body so she was greeted with the sight of Bucky’s chest sweaty and a smirk planted on his lips.
He sat up from his lying position and sat up so their chest were pressed firmly against each other, “Are you close, baby?” She threw her head back and nodded as Bucky began to move his hips so he could match the way she was sliding up and down his cock. Slapping her cheek, not too hard but enough to get her to look at him, he growled, “Tell me, princess. Tell me you’re close and that you wanna cum.”
Her mouth opened but a moan came out of her, he gave her a particularly harsh thrust and she finally gave in, “I wanna cum, Bucky, I need to. Please let me cum on your cock.” He smirked, satisfied with her answer and took control of the tempo of the way she was riding him. Holding on hard enough on her hips, enough to leave marks, he began to lift her up and down on him; he was lifting her up so fast that she barely had time to breathe and the way he slammed her was so hard he could hear their skin slapping against each other.
“You’re squeezing my cock so good, baby” Bucky groaned and he felt how close she was but needed added stimulation to let herself go. He lowered his mouth to cover her nipple with his lips; the sensation of licking and sucking hard on her nipple coupled with the cruel hip thrusts he was giving into her was enough for Y/N to grip on his shoulders and plant her lips on the top of his head, “Bucky, fuck,” was all she was able to let out as a warning for the orgasm that washed over her.
After feeling her juices drip down, there was something primal in him that made him more determined than ever to blow his load; so he removed his mouth from her nipple and laid her down on her back and moved to lift her legs, phishing them to her chest. “You gonna take my cum, baby? Gonna let me put it all in you?” He was thrusting violently, there was no rhythm but just him ruthlessly sliding his cock in and out of her tight canal, his mind was filled with images of her staying here with him, building a life together.
“Bucky, I’m so sensitive,” she squealed, and the man just smirked and to her surprise she just slammed his hips faster. He looks beautiful like this, she thought, but there was a part of her that thought she might explode if he continued his brutal assault on her body; and she was starting to get sleepy. Bucky slammed his cock all the way in until his balls were against her ass and stayed there, “Fuck, you’re such a good girl,” he moaned as he emptied his balls and shoved all his cream inside her.
He looked down on his precious angel and smiled at the sight of her with her eyes closed, running a finger to her face, just admiring her post-sex glow and the way she was all sweaty. He leaned down to kiss her on the forehead, “You did so well for me, baby.”
Without removing his cock from her, he moved to carry her, with ease he then brought both of them upstairs and into his room. Upon entering, he saw that Alpine was still lazily sleeping on the bed he got her and smiled, “I got you a mommy already, Al,” he whispered and felt himself harden again at the nickname he’d given the lovely girl in his arms.
Laying the both down, he wrapped both his arms around the sleeping beauty beside him and kissed her lips once more, “Welcome home, doll.”

Eddie and Buck go for a parent-teacher interview, for Chris of course, together. The teacher asks if they are together, and Buck is left to evaluate his relationship with Eddie.
Wow this got SUPER far away from me. I honestly was planning on it being very short and it... isn’t lol. anyway, hope you enjoy it! I’ll maybe get around to posting it on AO3 at some point
Attending a parent-teacher conference wasn’t exactly how Buck planned on spending his Tuesday on his day off, but he’d be lying if he said he wished it was different. Eddie would hopefully be showing up soon—they’d caught a bad call close to the end of his shift which is why Buck was here in Eddie’s place.
Buck watched fondly as Christopher drew on the table a few feet away, his tongue poking out slightly with his face creased deep in concentration. The tongue thing was a bad habit he’d picked up from, or so Eddie liked to tease him.
“Christopher has been doing very well in his classes so far, we’re very proud of the progress he’s been making.” The teacher, Miss Bright, stood at his side, glancing from Christopher over to Buck with a small smile on her face.
“That’s good,” Buck murmured. “I know everything’s been… a lot, but Eddie was really adamant on making sure his daily life routine wasn’t disturbed too much.”
Miss Bright nodded, her expression turning serious and slightly sad. “Yes, we’ve noticed Christopher’s aversion toward water. Not out of the ordinary, of course, many students are having similar issues after the tsunami. Don’t worry, we’re doing everything we can to ensure they always feel comfortable and safe while they’re here. As for the daily routine,” she continued, a smile growing on the corner of her lips, “I think a little disruption isn’t always bad, especially with how happy Christopher has been lately in class.”
“What do you mean?” Buck asked, more than a little confused as he turned to the teacher.
“Oh, I just mean, I know how difficult it can be sometimes for kids to adjust to a new parental figure, especially when they start living together,” Miss Bright explained with a smile. “But I’m sure that the addition to his routine can only be positive for him.”
New parental figure? Living together? Buck’s brows furrowed in confusion, mouth opening to correct her that no, he wasn’t Chris’ other father and he hadn’t moved in with them, but he was interrupted by Eddie entering the room in a rush.
“Hey, so sorry I’m late,” Eddie said in a rush, coming up to Buck’s side. His hair was a mess, still in his LAFD uniform, and there was a smudge of smoke on his cheek.
Buck bit back a laugh and reached up with his thumb, wiping the smudge off his cheek until it was mostly gone. “It’s all good, Eds. Am I going to have to call Athena to find out about a speeding ticket?” he teased.
Color rose in Eddie’s cheeks but he just rolled his eyes and turned his attention to the teacher, a polite smile on his face. “Again, I apologize for being late—”
“These things happen, I understand,” Miss Bright reassured him. “My partner is an officer, so I’m used to the sudden changes in plans. I was just telling your partner, Christopher has been doing wonderful in his classes, though he has gotten a bit shy interacting with the other kids during our outside activities. Nothing to be concerned about, his friend Tyler is always at his side.”
“Yeah, he and Tyler are best buddies.” Eddie agreed with a smile. “Was there anything else?”
“Nope, that’s all. Christopher is a model student, I love having him in class.” Miss Bright assured them.
Buck perked up when he saw Christopher slowly walking toward them without his crutches, a beaming smile on his face. “Daddy!” he said happily, holding out his arms for Eddie.
“Hey, buddy!” Eddie grinned as he picked him up. “Ready to go?”
“Yeah. Ice-cream?” he asked hopefully, resting his head on Eddie’s shoulders.
“I dunno bud, you’ll have to convince your Buck about that.” Eddie teased, looking up at Buck with a soft look on his face that made his heart skip a beat. Then, of course, Christopher gave him those brown puppy eyes (which he definitely didn’t learn from Buck) and, well, how was he supposed to say no?
Buck let out an exaggerated sigh, happiness warming his chest. “I suppose it wouldn’t be too much trouble.”
Christopher cheered and Buck chuckled, shaking his head as he turned back to the teacher with the smile still on his face. “Thank you, it was really nice meeting you.”
“Of course.” Miss Bright gave them a beaming smile. “It was so wonderful to finally meet Eddie’s new husband.”
Husband?
The word suddenly hit him with the force of a tsunami, hours later when Christopher was sleeping quietly in his room and he and Eddie were drinking a couple beers on the couch. It felt like the world stopped moving for a minute. Suddenly, their conversation seemed to take a completely different turn.
The teacher thought he and Eddie were married, and that Buck was moving in with them, and that’s the disruption in Christopher’s routine she had been talking about.
“She thought we were married!” Buck exclaimed suddenly, turning toward his best friend with wide eyes, interrupting whatever ballgame Eddie had been talking about.
“What are you talking about?” Eddie asked, tilting his head slightly in confusion.
“Christopher’s teacher!” Suddenly Buck was on his feet, beer forgotten on the coffee table as he paced. “She thought we were married! And that I’m moving in with you guys!”
The lack of response from Eddie had Buck swinging in front of him and staring down at him with a frown on his face. He was staring at Buck with a bemused expression on his face, and something softer in his eyes, something that made Buck’s heart race too much for him to try and place a name to it. He narrowed his eyes. “Why aren’t you saying anything?”
“Buck, you practically have moved in with us,” Eddie said gently, that soft look never leaving his eyes.
Buck frowned a little, unable to deny the truth of the statement. He opened and closed his mouth but found he had nothing to say, left floundering on the edge of something he wasn’t sure he wanted to name.
Eddie placed his beer on the counter and stood, striding over until he was barely a breath away from Buck. That ridiculously fond look was still on his face, a smile curling at the corners of his mouth as he reached out and gently took Buck's hand. “I’ve been waiting for you to catch up,” he admitted, and Buck felt his breath hitch slightly when Eddie’s thumb gently brushed over the back of his hand. “But, I think, it might be time to take the jump.”
“The ju—” Buck’s confused question was cut off when suddenly a pair of lips were gently pressing against his own.
Eddie’s lips.
Eddie was kissing him.
And it was like that was all it took for everything to slot into place. All of the lingering touches, the fond looks, the ‘stay the night’, bedtime stories to Chris, the drawer he had next to Eddie’s clothes, the fluttering in his chest whenever Eddie—
“Oh my god, I’m an idiot,” Buck breathed out when Eddie pulled back after a moment, his wide eyes taking in the gorgeous man across from him.
“No,” Eddie disagreed, the hand that wasn’t still holding Buck’s rising up to gently brush against the birthmark above Buck’s eye. “You’re not an idiot. You’ve been through a lot—I was more than willing to wait for you.”
Buck felt a surge of affection for the man standing in front of him, one that must have shown on his face if the blush dusting Eddie’s cheeks was anything to go by. “You’re amazing.” he murmured.
The fond look on Eddie’s face turned into something a little more mischievous, his hand falling from Buck’s face to wrap around his waist. “Oh, yeah? Well, you’re not so bad yourself, I suppose.”
“Oh, just shut up.” Buck grinned back, surging forward and kissing Eddie forcefully. Their teeth clacked together, the kiss more smiles than anything else, before Buck backed Eddie up against the wall. The kiss turned open-mouthed, hot and heavy, exploring and tasting each other like a treasure they’d only finally managed to discover. It was a little embarrassing how long they made out, like two teenagers on a first date, but eventually, oxygen won out.
Buck pressed his forehead against Eddie’s catching his breath and feeling more than a little giddy. “So does this mean I can come to all the parent-teacher meetings?
“Anything you want, cariño.” Eddie murmured fondly, pressing a soft kiss against Buck’s lips. “Come on, I’m exhausted after today’s shift. Sleep with me.”
“Anything for you.” Buck murmured, returning the soft kiss before he followed Eddie to his room.
It felt like the last piece to a puzzle slotting into place.

The Goddess Part Two (JJ Maybank x Reader)
Tumblr media
Part Three  Part One
The next time he saw you was at the petting zoo.He knew you’d be there but for some reason he was still shocked to see you.You hadnt seen him yet, though. It was before opening hours. He was hiding in the lower branches of a tree, watching as you sung to the goats. He couldnt even understand the words you were saying, just the sound of your voice as it hit unbelievably high notes. It was enough to make his heart thump, his chest to tighten and him to almost fall off of the tree branch he had been clinging too.Suddenly you were all that mattered to him.Nothing else existed.Just you.His eyes were almost like cameras, zooming in on you.You were wearing a white sundress that somehow hadnt gotten any dirt or goat poop on it.Your hair was messy and curly from the salt water you swam in all the time, your shiny jewelry glistening in the sunlight. You snapped your fingers, one of the smaller goats had literally jumped on you.
You giggled, holding a flower out to it.The goat got back down and they ran around their hay covered fenced in area.Your house was a good distance away from the area but it was still within his line of vision.Your family was absolutely rich but you werent kooks. You guys willingly chose to live in a shitty house. It looked shitty from the outside but JJ had never been inside.Your father had payed JJ large amounts of money to mow your lawn every tuesday. It didnt need to be mowed. You could just have the goats eat up the excess grass,or the chickens,or the cows. But little did JJ know that you were behind his weekly job.You knew that JJ didnt have a lot of money and shifted between John.B’s house and his own house, spending some nights at the beach.
You wanted JJ to have a good amount of money for anything he might need.Whether it be gas,a coffee,a new shirt, going to the laundromat. You just liked the idea of him being safe and happy all the time.Thats when he had seen you wearing that lovely sweater. You had come out of your house, placing a small jar of home made jam,a paper bag and an energy drink out on your deck before going back inside.JJ had been watching you out of the corner of his eye, blushing a bit when he realized that you were leaving him a breakfast. You left the fenced in area, the goats trying to follow you out. “Oh,dont act like you dont get all the attention in the world!”You had said quietly to them as they stared up at you.
JJ didnt even wonder how he had heard it from where he was.You were walking towards the tree with a light blue bag.JJ cursed, trying to move higher up in the tree.He hadnt even noticed that he was in the branches above the cows. There were six cows total, two of which were extremely fluffy. When you got to the fence only a few feet away from him you looked over at the tree. “Hey.”You nodded before opening the light blue bag.His eyebrows furrowed, stunned by how casual you were being. “Hi.”He replied, his voice sounding hoarse. He mentally slapped himself, clearing his throat quietly. “You know we dont let anyone pet the goats or hold the chickens until 10.What’s up?”You asked, taking fistfulls of food out of the light blue bag as cows approached you.He rolled his eyes so far back in his head he should’ve been able to see his brain, resting his head against the tree bark. Why did you have to be like this?He actually wanted to talk to you,to have a conversation and make you giggle.
“I mow your lawn on Tuesday’s,princess.”He reminded you.You raised your eyebrows as you pet one of the cows. “J,its monday.”You huffed as you let another cow eat oats straight out of your hand.He scoffed. “It is not-”He paused to take out his phone, checking the day. “Shit.”He groaned. You smiled. “Its fine,JJ.Have you eaten today?”You asked. He grumbled something. “What?”You asked. He sighed. “I said, why do you care?”He asked. You shrugged, tossing out more oats. “Breakfast is really important for you guys.”You replied, eyes going wide when you realized what you said.He squinted. “What? You mean poor people?”He asked, aggravated. You shook your head. “No,JJ.Thats not what I mean at all. You’re a growing boy,you need to eat.”You explained yourself. He hopped down from the tree, towering over you.
You stared up at him.He stared at you with admiration.Your eyes were slightly puffy from just waking up,the whites of your eyes slightly pink. You smelled like peaches, cookie dough and ocean. It was a strange concoction but somehow it was pleasant. You were wearing cute socks that had winnie the pooh on them. You werent wearing shoes though, just the socks and the dress. “So um...I have to collect the chicken eggs.Do you want breakfast or a coffee or something?”You asked, playing with your bracelets. As much as he hated you-or at least as he pretended to hate you he was really hungry. He wasnt hungry. He just wanted to be around you.He shrugged. “Okay, but that doesnt make us friends.”he pointed at you.You nodded, biting back a smile. “Wouldnt dream of it.”You replied. He followed you to the chicken coop. “Morning ladies!”You exclaimed as you opened the nesting boxes, placing the eggs in an egg carton. “Um….Im sorry JJ,but could you please hold this?”You asked, gesturing toward the egg carton.
He held out his hands and you thanked him quietly, handing him the egg carton.Perhaps if he really hated you as much as he said he did he would drop the eggs on purpose. But he didnt. You apologized a few times for the long walk to the house from the chicken coop. You struggled to open the door, kicking it open.He just followed you to the kitchen.Your house was….it was just kind of beautifully chaotic.Murals across the walls, mermaids,a sunset with beautiful blue waves.Your kitchen had white tiles on the floor, marble counter tops and a white fridge. The table had a white tablecloth that was covered with flower print. You placed the two egg cartons you had been carrying down. You jumped a bit when you moved your elbow, feeling JJ right behind you. “Sorry.”You mumbled, moving out of the way.He grinned at how nervous he was making you right now.Usually it was the other way around.Your kitchen smelled like bread and strawberries. His nose was correct.
He spotted jars of strawberry jam and saw a loaf of bread wrapped in parchment paper. “What do you want for breakfast?”You asked him.He glanced at the bread and jam on the countertops. You turned, getting the message. You told him to sit down at the table and he couldnt help but feel a bit uneasy. He’d never been inside your house before. He looked outside your kitchen window to see your garden.Your garden was kind of famous.Lemon and peach trees, berry bushes, flowers, herbs, garlic and potatoes.People from figure 8 would call your father when they were in need of bread, biscuits, muffins, cakes, jellys, jams, eggs.
Basically anything.A good amount of families had hosted birthdays at your house and you’d help your father bake the cakes, usually making spaghetti or mac and cheese for the children. And now JJ was sitting at your kitchen table about to dine like a king free of charge. He took this chance to ask you some questions about yourself, knowing youd probably answer honestly without thinking about it because you were currently busy. “So like...whats the deal with your mom?”He asked. You shrugged your shoulders as you spread jam across a slice of bread. “She dropped me off at the door then disappeared.”You replied.Youd been over the story dozens of times,no emotions even ties to the story at this point. He nodded. “That sucks.”You giggled quietly at the statement. You really didnt care. She made her choice and your father made his.
“So what do you do all day in this house? You never go anywhere. You got a lot of boyfriends that come around?”He asked. You sighed as you cut up an apple. You smiled to yourself. That was the stupidest thing youd ever heard. “I go places.”You retaliated. He scoffed. “Where?Where have you gone?”He asked. You blushed from the realization. “I go to the beach.”You replied, looking over your shoulder. “You need to get out more.Half the people on this island dont even know you exist.”He watched how your body moved as you arranged the apples into a flower. “Okay.”Was all you had do say before you placed the plate down in front of him. “You want some coffee?”you asked. He shook his head.
“Sit down.”He suggested. He was telling you what to do in your own house. That was probably the strangest thing that had happened for you that week. You sat across from him, tapping on the wooden table. “thanks,(Y/N).”He mumbled quietly. You just nodded. He stared down at his plate, not touching the food. “You’re not gonna eat anything?”He asked. You shook your head. “Not up for it,I already had a coffee today.”You replied. He nodded. “You werent freaked out over the fact I was in one of your trees...why?”He asked. You just shrugged. “A lot of weird stuff happens in my life, believe it or not.”You replied, watching him pull apart his bread and stuff it in him mouth. “So...um….are you gonna leave when youre done with breakfast?”You asked. He grinned. “Wow,trying to get rid of me already?”He asked. You huffed. “Its not like that!Im just trying to figure out what my plan is for the day.”You explained yourself. He nodded.
“Its not like you’ve got any big plans.I think im gonna stay around here just to spite you.”He smiled. You nodded. “Okay.”You replied. He ran his hand through his hair. “Im kidding.”He replied. You nodded. “Right.I mean I guess you could stay here if you want.”You offered. He chewed his bottom lip. “What if you come with me to the beach and surf for a while?Ive heard you’re okayish as surfing.”He smirked. You scratched your collarbone. “Uh...okay.Okay.”You mumbled awkwardly. You couldnt believe you had just agreed to hang out with JJ Maybank of all people. He hated you.You just had to hope that he wouldnt murder you or something. His eyes widened. “Yeah? You’re gonna come over to the dark side with me?”He asked, smile widening. You grinned. “Dont make me regret it.”You mumbled, getting up from the table. He heard you go up the stairs and he let out a loud sigh.He really just did that.
He wiped his palms of his shorts, blinking hard.He was gonna spend the day with you.He couldnt mess this up.That being said you already thought he hated you and he was kind of a bitch to you but now you would get to actually hang out with him. This was his chance to become your friend. He ate the rest of his breakfast as quickly as he could, placing the plate in the sink.He heard you come back down stairs. He turned to send you a teasin remark but his jaw fell, eyes going wide when he saw what you were wearing. That sweater. You had changed out of the dress, now wearing black shorts, flip flops and that sweater that looked unbelievably amazing on you. “Uh-youre ready to go?”He asked. You nodded. The two of you walked out and you stopped to grab your surfboard. “I know a good surf spot.”He told you.You nodded. He took you down some old dirt roads and a small path through the woods.WHen you came out of the woods you were on pale hot sand, shells and small smooth rocks sprinkling across the land. “The waves are kinda small but theyll get bigger.”He said, sitting down. “Thats what she said.”You grinned to yourself.

The Second Time Around: Part 1
A/n: RPF fic. Request fic. A big thank you to @xjjlex for the pre-read!
Pairings: Elon Musk x Reader
Summary: Everyone makes mistakes (even geniuses)
Words: 3, 865
________
Hungover...you felt like death! Death was putting your feelings lightly. You couldn’t even open your eyes for the moment. Puking was the last thing that you wanted to do! Your mind fluttered back to the evening before. Through your hungover state, you tried to think of exactly what happened. You had gone out drinking with a few friends. After a few hits of Jack Daniel everything went fuzzy leading you to your current position.
You slid your hand onto the bedside table in search of the Advil bottle that was kept beside the lamp. When you felt absolutely nothing, you frowned. Where the hell was the Advil bottle? You literally never changed a thing about your room. Now all of a sudden one of the staples of your existence was missing! You opened her eyes and was immediately shocked. Oh boy, you knew where you were at! You knew this bedroom all too well!
What the hell were you doing in Elon’s bedroom? After the less than cordial breakup six months ago, you hadn’t heard from the man. Now here you were laying in his bed...alone.
You snorted at the thought of well the alone part isn’t too unusual. If Elon stayed in bed with you the whole night to begin with that was rarity in itself.
“Stop it, Y/n!”
You mentally chidded yourself. The last thing that you needed to be doing was thinking about your failed relationship. You needed to have your head in the game!
“Oh no….what did I do?”
You muttered as you looked under the cover. Thankfully, you were still dressed in your dark red bra and panty set.
“Okay...maybe we didn’t do that.”
You muttered again before putting a hand on your forehead. As much as you wanted to have sex with you ex lover again, you were smart enough to know that it was a bad idea all around! After Elon left you for his crazy ass ex, you were crushed. Crushed was putting things lightly! You had been under the impression that you were living in a fairy tale. Elon had literally treated you like a princess then all of a sudden you weren’t good enough.
Princes do not abandon their princesses….
You had, for lack of a better term, put everything on hold for the relationship. Instead of showing off your talents as Eric Clapton and Pattie Boyd’s daughter, you  were on Elon’s arm at different SpaceX or Tesla events.
In your mind everything was perfect! You were the happiest that you had ever been! For once in your life, you had some faith in love.  The night the break up happened, you were devastated!
“Oh, don’t go down that road!”
You muttered to yourself; not wanting to think about the break up. Like nightmares do, the memory seemed to slam right back in your mind…
“It was a normal Tuesday night. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Elon had been on a business trip for the past week. You expected him back the next afternoon. For the past day and a half you had been spending time with your best friend Jeffree. He had been complaining non-stop about you neglecting him.
You were sitting on Jeffree’s couch when the doorbell rang. Jeffree had gone out to get some food so you had no idea who would be at the door. Getting up, you walked to the door and opened it. You were shocked to see Elon on the other side.  Without much thought, you wrapped your arms around him. You should have known that something was up the moment that he didn’t hug you back.
“What are you doing back so early?”
You asked, happily. Elon shrugged.
“I got everything done early. I should have known that you would be here with him.”
You frowned.
“Jeffree? Love, you know that he’s gay. You don’t have anything to worry about from Jeffree. Besides, I texted you the day before yesterday and told you that I would be here.”
Elon rolled his eyes and didn’t move from his place by the door. This behavior was weird. In the months that the two of you had been together he never had a problem with Jeffree.
“That’s why I am here and we aren’t at my house.”
You sighed
“Well, we can go to your house if it's a problem? I am guessing your trip didn’t go well?”
Elon was silent for a moment. He was clearly choosing his words. You waited wondering what in the fresh hell was going on?
“Y/n, I need to talk to you. While I was gone...I did some thinking. This….us...it isn’t working out for me. I think that I want to go back to…”
“Don’t say her name.”
You hissed. This was the last thing that you expected and now you were crushed!
“I won’t but I am going back to her. You’re a great girl, Y/n. I really do care for you but we are too different. You’ll make some man very happy.”
You stood like a frozen statue staring at Elon like you were surveying a bug. His eyes were watching your every move carefully.
“Y/n?”
He said your name softly. You shook your head as if trying to shake the conversation from your head.
“You are really leaving me to go back to her? You are throwing away someone  who gets you for someone who wanted to drive you batshit insane? I don’t get it. Is it because of the age difference or something?”
Elon shrugged again.
“Well…”
You held a hand up.
“Just go.”
Elon didn’t wait to be told twice. He turned and walked from the house without another word.
After the break up, you had turned into a shut in cat lady. All of your friends were worried about your sanity until you threw yourself back into the music game and started producing music again. Half of your friends thought that you were going to stick a fork in a toaster or something. When you went back to working again, they at least thought you were going to make it.
After reliving the past six months of your life, you slowly sat up and looked around the room. Nothing had changed in the past six months. You didn’t expect it to anyway. Elon didn’t like to make changes if he didn’t have to.
You debated just sneaking out and not facing Elon. That would be easy enough. His house was big enough where you could stage a James Bond style exit but you would have to face him later. There was also a possibility of sneaking out of the window but the prospect of an ER visit for a broken bone didn’t sound too appealing either.
You noticed  that your silk robe, from when the two lived together,  was sitting on the bureau by the door along with a bottle of water and three Advil tablets. You lightly chuckled seeing the note beside the medicine
“Take these. Your head will seem smaller.”
You downed the pills and slid on the robe. It was time to face the music.
Walking down the stairs, you couldn’t help but wonder why in the world Elon still had some of your things lying around? If he had gotten back with his ex, wouldn't she have a problem seeing reminders of his love affair with you?
Shrugging off your questions, you stopped outside of Elon’s office door. You sighed. This was the last thing that you wanted to be doing at the moment. If you had to face Elon, you would have preferred it to be in a way other than this.
“Time to face the music.”
You thought before taking a breath and stepping into his office. Elon didn’t look up immediately when you walked in. He sat less than 15 feet away with his attention clearly focused on his laptop.
“I know you’re there.”
He said, finally looking up. You walked across the room to close the blinds so the sun wouldn’t burn your eyes out.
“Good morning.”
He said a little more cheerfully than normal. You nodded.
“Hey...so how did I end up here and what exactly did we do?”
Elon smirked. He wasn’t for sure why he was so surprised by your blunt straight to business attitude. That was what he liked most about you. You didn’t hold stuff back or try to baffle him with bullshit.
“If you are talking about sex, that didn’t happen. Even though you were begging me shamelessly to have my way with you. Before that happened, I heard that you were in town and was hoping to talk to you. However, when I did you were totally bombed. I wasn’t about to leave you at that bar with no one but your friend Jeffree to keep you safe. How long have you been back in California?”
You  muttered “eh” under your breath.  Did you want to have sex with Elon again...hell yeah but in the right mind you would have never begged him for it. Were you that easy of a drunk?  Knowing that little bit of information made your cheeks flush.
“That’s lovely! I’ve been back off and on for the past two months. When I’m here I am staying with Jeffree right now until I find a place that I like.”
Elon nodded. He wasn’t crazy about your friendship with Jeffree.. The dude was a barrel of crazy! He figured that, of all people, you would be staying with him. Did he worry about Jeffree making a move on you, no. Jeffree had been in a relationship with another man for over 2 years. He wasn’t going to throw that away. It didn’t matter if you were a rock star's daughter or not. That little detail wasn’t about to make him stop preferring men over women.
“I see. When did you start drinking?”
Elon asked. You sighed. This was one of those questions that you knew he would ask. You didn’t drink. After watching your own father battle with a horrible drug and alcohol addiction; you swore that wouldn’t be your life. The last thing that you wanted was to repeat the mistakes that your father made.
“6 months ago, as a matter of fact.”
You said, not hiding the snark in your voice. Had it been six months ago and the two of you were still dating, you would have never talked to Elon like that. Now...he was getting whatever you felt like dishing out. He was really lucky that you didn’t ruin his carpet at the moment.
You were still feeling a little more on edge. Elon sat across the desk blinking. He was clearly taking everything that you said in and made note of your little dig. 6 months ago…he totally got it. This behavior was somehow his fault.
“What did you want to talk to me about?”
You finally asked. Elon sighed. It was time to eat that crow that he was dreading so much!
“I miss you.”
You winced before putting a hand on your forehead.
“Oh Jesus take the wheel...why are you telling me this?”
Elon smirked. He had really missed her sweet sassy charm but at the moment it was a thorn in his side.
 “Because it's true?”
He questioned. You ran a hand through your messy hair.
“Where's her name?”
Elon’s amused expression faded. You knew that expression well. That was the face that Elon made when being called on something ignorant or something that made him look bad.
“We broke up...again.”
You nodded. How surprising! You expected that to happen. If their relationship failed the first time then chances were it failed again and here you both were.
“Well, look at that. I guess I should say that I am sorry and stuff…”
“Do you mean it?”
Elon asked. You rolled your eyes. Did he really just ask you that?  You were honestly waiting to wake up and realize that all of this was some sick fucked up dream.
“No.”
“Then don’t say it.”
The two of you sat in an awkward silence. Were both of you this bad at relationships that neither of you knew what to say? You couldn’t speak for Elon but you blamed your parents for your awkwardness. If they didn’t have the world’s worst relationship then you could have possibly been better at this.
After a few moments, you stood.
“Well, this has been fun. I think I am going to change and get going. Thanks for taking care of me last night.”
Elon followed your action. He was across the room before you  could get to the door. He had your hand in his and looked down at you with a sad expression. That expression! You internally cursed yourself out as you looked up at him like a child. This was that expression that could get him whatever he wanted from you. Was today going to be one of those days or was you going to bail and never see him again?
“I was an idiot. You’re the woman that I want, Y/n.”
You pressed her lips together. For some reason, you were now fighting the urge to cry. What in the hell was happening? You never cried (at least not in front of anyone). Now here you were about to start acting like a total Mary Sue for Elon to comfort.
“Then why did you do it?”
You managed to ask. Elon sighed.
“I wanted you to succeed without me. If your career took off people would talk. They would say that you were only successful because I am your boyfriend.”
You were a little startled by the comment that left his mouth. Yes, it was caring. Caring and extremely out of character!
“Damn it, I was succeeding just fine before you came around in the first place! Since when did you start caring about what people think about you?”
Elon looked down at his feet. He reminded you of an overgrown child at this particular moment.
“Because I love you...I did you wrong. I realized it that night that I broke up with you. Until that night, I had never had a girl cry over me before. I wanted to say forget everything and take care of you. Damn Y/n, it's all that I can think about! If you’re with me, I know that you are safe. Do you think that I don’t see all of these other guys drooling all over you? It's driving me crazy. We need to fix this...I can’t lose you.”
You stood in momentary silence. This was what you had been wanting to hear for so long. Now that you were hearing it you couldn’t help but wonder if you should just jump back into a relationship. What if things went to hell again? Were you mentally strong enough to put up with another 6 months of misery only for Elon to show back up to woo you off of your feet again?
“I’m going to have to process this and get back with you. I...uh...yeah...I don’t know what to think at the moment.”
“We were happy, Y/n.”
You nodded. He was right there.
“Yes, we were. I was really happy. You were the first man that I actually loved. Elon, you know how hard that is for me to say.”
Elon nodded.
“Y/n, we don’t have to be your parents or my parents. We can fix what was wrong.”
You smiled.
“Give me 5 days.
Elon sighed. He didn’t really want to wait 5 days but if that got him any closer to having you back it would be worth it.
“Fine, I have a business trip anyway. I’ll be back next Friday. That will give you 7 days to decide what you want.”
Over the next few days, you spent the vast majority of your time wondering what in the world you were going to do. Were you going to be the tough girl and tell Elon to kick rocks or were you going to give him a second chance. You scoffed at your belief of everyone deserving a second chance. From the time you were a child, you were the best person to give second, third, and many more chances to people. The big question was would you be willing to put yourself through a repetitive state of heartbreak?
Maybe Elon had changed? Perhaps he really did realize that you were the right person for him and his previous actions were foolish? You could only hope that was the case. The smart side of your brain said that was exactly what happened. Elon was blunt. If he didn’t mean something then he wasn’t going to go and say it.
“Y/n?”
You looked up to see Jeffree in the doorway. He was looking at you with that concerned expression that he had been wearing non-stop since you had told him that you were considering taking Elon back.
“Hey.”
You said with a smile. Jeffree was your saving grace over the past few days. He sat and listened to you ramble on and on about what your decision was. Thankfully, he didn’t complain when you said that you weren’t taking Elon back only to change that decision five minutes later.
“I want you to be happy. I know that he made you happy. At the same time, however, I don’t want you to be hurt either. Remember Y/n, I was the one that picked you up off of the bathroom floor that night that he broke up with you.  Elon was nowhere to be found. “
His comment had played in your head over a few times as you considered your decision. Jeffree beginning to speak pulled you from your thoughts.
“I am sorry to disturb your brooding but I think there is something that you should see.”
You slowly stood from and followed Jeffree into the living room where every flat surface had a bouquet of different flowers on them. Blinking, you looked around a few times before turning to Jeffree.
“It looks like a florist shop in here.”
“Or a mortuary.”
Jeffree said idly as you walked around and looked at the flowers.
“That too. Are all of these from Elon?”
You asked, totally stunned by his gesture. Jeffree nodded.
“Rocket man has it bad for you.”
You smirked at Jeffree’s clever snarky nickname for Elon. From the time that the two you had broken up, Jeffree refused to call Elon by name.
“Yeah, I think that he does. He’s never done anything like this before.”
Jeffree walked to the couch and sat down. He sighed realizing that he couldn’t see the TV over the largest bouquet of flowers.
“I guess this earns him some brownie points. Y/n, have you made your decision? He will be turning up soon. I just want to know what to expect so I can...you know...be prepared mentally.”
You groaned and flopped down on the couch before laying your head on your best friend’s shoulder.
“I want him back but I am apprehensive at the same time. You know how I have been lately. What if he gets bored with me again? Apparently I am easy to tire of.”
Jeffree frowned.
“No you’re not! Y/n, you are a wonderfully lovely person! You deserve happiness. Look, you know that I am not much of a fan of Elon’s but maybe he’s changed. Maybe he’s seen the error of his ways? He went back to that other woman with the kid that you need a graphing calculator in order to pronounce his name and realized that it wasn’t right. I would think that if he was happy with her then he would be with her. I don’t think he would have made our living room look like a funeral home’s floral department if he didn’t care about you. This had to cost a pretty penny.”
You chuckled at Jeffree’s response. Jeffree took another breath.
“I just want you to be happy. Follow your heart but take your brain with you.”
You sat up and decided to go get decent before Elon showed up.
“All I know is if it doesn’t work out this time I think I will be a lesbian or something.”
Jeffree chuckled as you walked up the stairs.
20 minutes later, the doorbell rang. Jeffree stood from his place on the couch and walked to the door. The moment he opened it, he frowned seeing Elon on the other side.
“Jeffree.”
Elon said casually. Jeffree blinked, trying to fight the urge to say something sassy.
“I suppose you are here to see Y/n.”
Elon nodded.
“Yes.”
Jeffree moved aside to let Elon walk in. Elon smirked seeing the flowers all over the place.
“Did she enjoy the flowers?”
Jeffree nodded. He didn’t want to give the other man a comment but Elon actually deserved it.
“Yes, she did. She smiled a lot, which was nice to see. I haven’t seen her happy smiling face in a long time. You did well...even though my living room looks like a funeral home.”
Elon raised an eyebrow. He didn’t miss the other man’s dig about your “happy smiling face.” Elon had expected something sassy to come from Jeffree.
“I’m glad that she was happy. So...can I see her?”
Jeffree nodded and walked to the stairs.
“Sweetie, rocket man is here to see you.”
Jeffree had to pinch himself so he wouldn’t giggle at the annoyed expression on Elon’s face.
“That’s clever.”
Elon said sarcastically as you walked down the stairs. You had heard the whole exchange and had put a hand over your face when Jeffree called Elon “rocket man.”
Jeffree looked between the two of you awkwardly before turning and walking to the kitchen. When he was out of the room, you turned to Elon.  He was looking at the kitchen door, clearly glad that Jeffree had left the room.
“I see you got all of the flowers.”
Elon said, looking around the living room.
“I think that I got carried away.”
You laughed.
“No, I think that they are all pretty. That was very nice.”
You went to look out the window. It was time to make your mind up and fast! You jumped the moment that Elon’s arms wrapped around your waist. He pressed a kiss to your bare shoulder before snuggling his face into your hair.
“Have you made your mind up?”
You nodded, enjoying the feeling of his body against yours.
“I have. Why don’t we get out of here so we can talk alone? I have a feeling that Jeffree is on the other side of the door listening.”
Elon glanced over his shoulder. The last thing that he wanted to deal with was Jeffree listening to the conversation. This was meant to be private without “little ears” listening.
“Good idea. Let’s go then.”
You turned and followed him outside to his car. It was now or never. If there were any doubts in your mind about what you wanted to do then you needed to deal with them FAST….
