Summary: Y/n appreciates horror movies but they also scare the sh*t out of her. When it's her girlfriend Jenna's pick for their movie night, Y/n attempts to hold in her fear in order to not embarrass herself ~ Word Count: 1.001k ~ Warnings: mentions + vague descriptions of gore - otherwise fluffy af

A/N: Hi!! two fics in one day?!? crazy. Anyways this one is kinda short but it was hella fun to write so hopefully you guys enjoy it. I'm hoping to maybe get another fic out before Christmas but no promises <3

"Y/n?!? What do you want to watch?" "I don't mind it's your turn to pick" you respond as you walk into your shared bedroom with a bowl of popcorn in your hand. Jenna was sat on the bed in an oversized t-shirt scrolling through basically every streaming service available. You let out a small chuckle as you watch her aimlessly scroll, "Just pick anything I'll watch whatever you want" you suggest, placing the popcorn down next to Jenna before you walk into your closet to change. "Mmm ok"

You change into an oversized shirt and some baggy shorts before exiting your closet and glancing at the TV to see if she had picked anything. 'It' was open and ready to play. "Ok anything but that" you blurt out pointing at the screen as Jenna shoots you an incredulous look. "Really?. I finally pick something and you refuse to watch it" she pouts at you, already making you feel bad. "Are you scared or?". See, you didn't hate horror movies. You admired the concept of them and loved the idea of them, but if you were being completely honest with yourself, they also scared the shit out of you. You liked watching movies for the purpose of relaxing and horror movies did the exact opposite. You were constantly tense and/or sitting on the edge of your seat knowing that there would be a jump scare, or something else terrifying about to happen. Were you going to admit that to Jenna though... No.

"It's not that I'm scared" you start, making your way over to the bed. "I just... I don't know I just like to feel like I got something out of the movie we watch and this one... I don't know I feel like there are better horror movies." you ramble as Jenna looks at you with a slight smirk and raised brow. "Such as?" she asks. "I don't know... Like one your in. That way I at least get to watch my girlfriend right? Seems pretty rewarding to me." "Fine cutie... we can watch Scream 5 instead." she chuckles as you smirk and get into bed next to her, thrilled that you somehow managed to convince her not to watch 'It'. Were you still watching a horror movie... yes, but you weren't lying when you said you found watching Jenna rewarding so that was a plus... right?

Your knuckles were already white due to how hard you are gripping the blanket and it's only the first scene. You really tried to just distract yourself with Jenna but it's very difficult to do when she is crying and screaming bloody murder whilst being stabbed by a psycho in a ghost suit. "What the fuuuuuck!" you mumbled in disgust as her character is stabbed in the hand, the knife going cleanly through and poking out the other side. "Ok fuck that" you slap your hand over your mouth as you turn your head to the side trying to get it out of your vision, meanwhile Jenna is just laughing and having the time of her life.

Basically every time ghost face is on screen or you suspect him to make an entrance at some point, you heart starts pounding with how scared you were. Despite you obviously knowing it wasn't real, a mantra you repeated many times in your head, you were still scared shitless and the gore definitely didn't help either. Every murder that happened made you scoot closer to your girlfriend, eventually grasping her hand in yours when her character is attacked in the hospital. "Fucking hell... why do you have to be such a good actor" you complain as tears begin to well in your eyes. "Oh my god Y/n are you crying?" Jenna asked sympathetically with a small chuckle. "Well yeah" you state whilst giggling as if it was obvious. "I mean I know it's not you but it looks like my girlfriend is being murdered" "Awww it's ok" Jenna pulls you into a small hug which leads to the two of you cuddling in bed. 'About time' you thought, finally able to find complete comfort.

The rest of the movie doesn't necessarily fly by, but it certainly goes faster than the first part. Every time you got scared or saw something disgusting, you would either squeeze Jenna tighter or hide your face in the crook of her neck. At this point you had given up trying to hide the fact that you were a bit of a pussy because you weren't going to deprive yourself of your girlfriends comfort for the sake of your ego. By the time 'act 3' came around, you weren't as scared as you expected yourself to be - except for the fact that you thought Jenna's character was dead for a hot minute which broke your heart. The gunshot makes you jump slightly but as soon as the camera pans to Jenna's character, probably the first smile of the movie makes it to your face. "Badass" you mutter causing Jenna to chuckle softly.

The movie had finally finished and you didn't hate it as much as you were expecting. Did you cry? yes. Did you jump? absolutely. But did you enjoy yourself? oddly kind of. Was it purely because Jenna was in it? possibly but who knows. "I didn't know you were such a chicken" Jenna laughs as the credits roll. "I am not!" you retort very defensively as she just gives you a knowing look, your defensive stance slipping immediately. "Ok maybe a little bit but I've seen worse". you turn your back to her as Jenna giggles, before she wraps her arms around your waist and pulls you back into her. "It's ok. Your cute when your scared" "Oh so my pain is funny to you?" you laugh turning your head around to face her, barely any space between the two. "A little" she giggles again as she covers your face in small kisses. "So mean"

firstly these things will come and go whole time so relax . First they hate him on his appearance then next jump on him again if there was anything good then again they will hate him for some other thing. The whole Clive x Jill controversy on Twitter is worse when the people causing it are fully aware that what they're saying is crap, but because they "feel" that way about the pairing, they have to try and make others feel uncomfortable and ashamed for supporting it by trying to claim it's "immoral" , so their perspective on it feels validated. Basically, they put their personal emotions before reason and basic common sense and want to make it everyone else's problem, which I find more vile than if they were socially ignorant or just plain stupid. Same with Cleriths misinterpreting the context of the "maternal" statement regarding Tifa, while desperately ignoring that Cloud actually called Aerith "Mom", or how the mocap actors stated that their relationship is similar to siblings.

Omg I'm so embarrassed by this but yes. So, uh for the longest time I really didn't like Ben Barnes. Back in the day when the Dragon Age rpc was booming, there was this one Inquisitor Rp blog that used Ben Barnes as a fc, and they were just horrible to my oc at the time. Just in and out of character, they didn't like me. Eventually, I ended up blocking them.

But for years I hated ben barnes, and it was really silly of me, tbh. It wasn't until I saw him in Shadow and Bone and watchng interviews and clips that I fell in love with him. Now he's one of my favorite actors.

Re tube hugging - no offence to people wanting a hug from Joe but personally think it is soooo weird to try and hug someone or even ask for an autograph from someone on the tube or overground. Like it’s fully not the vibe at all. There are so many mega famous people that get on the tube, way more famous than Joe, like top A list actors, and I think it’s partly because there’s a safety for them that comes with the general normal Londoner psyche which is that you don’t draw attention to yourself and mind your business when travelling. Add the fact that Joe literally grew up in London he must be embarrassed af. The fact that he has taken pics with swifties on the tube in the past is a testament to his patience, but shouldn’t be seen as something everyone is entitled to

I’d tend to agree. I also don’t think there’s much harm in asking if you do want one - he might be in a good mood or you might be hella cute lol idk - but ultimately like it’s up to a celeb’s discretion if they take a selfie or give an autograph while going about their daily lives. If they’re legit rude about it that’s not nice obviously and if they ignore fans at events that’s SUPER rude (though as I also said kinda context specific because I’d understand actors being weird at book fests for instance) but like on the tube/overground/metro/airplane/in a restaurant/pub/shop I think it’s really up to the person’s discretion and mood at the time. I don’t think one can draw like a “Joe hates affection” conclusion from him not wanting to hug a bunch of fans on the tube (2-3 is quite a lot) lol.

I'm glad Jennette McCurdy spoke about how child actors were treated by Nickelodeon cuz her memoir was released just few days after I watched those weird videos Dan Schneider made behind the scenes and those are so weird like he would film a teen actors in towels after they just got out of the shower and interrupt them while they talk to each other and film them and he was always touching them (Jennette confirmed he touched her when she didn't want to and yelled at her and her co-stars and made her feel uncomfortable)... Did he seriously think that would make them love him? The stuff he did to Ariana Grande was so f*cked up cuz he would always be in her space and you can see how uncomfortable she was in these videos and that video when she and Elisabeth Gillies were sitting on the floor and Elizabeth literally barked like a dog to get his attention to stop filming Ariana, it was so creepy, both girls and guys felt weird around him and that weird video where Adriana is doing all these weird sexual things like stick finger in her mouth and pour water on her face while laying upside down and try to squeeze "juice" out of the potato with both hands... He directed and filmed that and it was supposed to be funny but it's freaky af. And then everyone is wondering why Ariana doesn't speak about that "if that was so bad", I bet she is embarrassed now when she looks back because she was young enough not to know what all these things meant. And I hate it when someone is turning against Ariana because Jennette revealed that they allowed Ariana pursue her career but didn't let Jennette pursue hers because both girls were treated badly, you can tell, Ariana served as their visual fetish. Jennette also confirmed they offered her thousands of dollars so she wouldn't say how they treated her on Nickelodeon but she had enough courage to say everything and she deserves our respect. “I don’t interview well,” you said to your makeup artist.

“Just envision the audience naked,” she giggled as she applied your mascara.

“That old trick never works,” you said.

“Okay, how about you pretend you’re on the set of Criminal Minds except it’s a live take in front of a studio audience?” she said.

You placed your hand on your cheek as you put on an over-exaggerated thinking face. She laughed as she finished applying your mascara. You looked at her with a scrunched up nose as you shook your head.

“I don’t know if I can, Sheena,” you said.

“Well, with Matthew by your side during this interview maybe you can,” she said.

“I’d probably choke even harder. I don’t even know what I was thinking when I agreed to be a surprise guest,” you said.

“You were probably thinking how fine Matthew would look in a suit,” she said.

“I get the privilege of seeing him in a suit every day on set,” you giggled.

She laughed along with you. Your giggle-fest was interrupted with the sound of Jimmy Fallon speaking. You both turned your attention to the small tv screen in your dressing room. You grabbed the remote to turn the volume up a little louder to hear what he was saying.

You watched as he gave a little introduction to his guest. Calling him a fan favourite of Criminal Minds and the dorky genius everyone is swooning over. You giggled as you knew Matthew hated so much admiration centred around him but you had a feeling Jimmy knew so as well. He kept on continuously complimenting him before he finally introduced him.

“Please give a warm welcome to your favourite FBI agent and mine, Matthew Gray Gubler,” he announced.

Matthew appeared from the side all smiles as he waved to the audience. He looked a little pink in the face. Probably from all the overflowing compliments Jimmy had given him. Jimmy had every right to gush over him. He looked fine as ever. He was wearing a midnight blue suit with his iconic black converse on. His hair was freshly cut short but his untamed curls didn’t seem to care as they swirled around his head. He had a new thing for rings too, specifically pink rings which only added an extra bit of spice to him.

“You know, I actually don’t think I’m the fan favourite anymore,” he told Jimmy.

Jimmy gave him an over-exaggerated shocked expression. He looked out into the audience before standing up and raising his arms up and down to encourage them to cheer.

“Make some noise if Dr. Spencer Reid is your favourite character,” he said.

Most of the crowd cheered as loud as they could. Matthew awkwardly smiled as he covered his face to hide the fact he was turning a deeper shade of red. Jimmy sat back down and laughed as he pointed out into the audience.

“The audience never lies,” he said.

“You’re right, you’re right, but I personally think we have a great cast filled with amazing actors,” he chuckled.

“Okay, okay, I’ll hear you out. Who’s your favourite character on the show?” Jimmy asked.

“I love Y/N Y/L/N character Andrea Pike. She’s such a fascinating character on the show,” he said.

You couldn’t help crack a smile at the way his voice brightened up when he mentioned your name. He looked overly excited to discuss your character. You felt Sheena nudge you with her elbow. You looked at her to see her smirking at you.

“I think someone has a little crush on you,” she sang.

You smiled as you felt your face heat up. You turned away from her to look back at the tv screen. You knew she would inquire about your feelings for him if she saw the way you looked. You weren’t quite ready to expose how you felt towards him yet.

“Y/N Y/L/N is such a great actress and I was excited when I found out she joined the Criminal Minds cast,” Jimmy said.

“Yeah, it’s great having her on. She’s so much fun to be around and she always lightens the mood,” Matthew said.

“I’d love to have her on the show one day. Do you think she’d ever come on the show?” Jimmy asked.

“Oh, for sure. You’d love her on your show, she’s so funny and entertaining. That’s what I love most about working with her,” he said.

Slight ‘awe’s’ came from the audience which made Matthew and Jimmy burst out laughing. Matthew looked towards the audience with a sheepish look on his face as he tried to reduce his bright grin. He didn’t have the chance to regain his composure as the band started playing a rendition of ‘Lady in Red.’

He placed both of his hands on his face as he leaned back in his chair trying to hide his embarrassment. Jimmy, of course, was having a blast watching Matthew squirm. Matthew slid his hands down from his face to show his flustered expression to the audience.

“Okay, okay, we’ll give you a break. Anyway, other than Y/N, what else is your favourite thing about working with the Criminal Minds crew?” Jimmy asked.

You watched as they talked about the show. You couldn’t take your eyes off of Matthew as he laughed and talked. His smile could brighten any room and his soft eyes could just melt you into a puddle. You watched the whole thing up until the commercial break. When it went to commercial you didn’t even realize you were still spaced out looking at the screen until Sheena nudged you.

“Girl, it’s your time to position yourself,” Sheena said.

“Oh, right,” you said as you jumped out of your chair.

“Lost in Gublerland huh?” She giggled.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you said as you walked towards the door.

You took one step out of the makeup room door before you froze. You turned around to look back at Sheena with an awkward smile. She immediately knew what you were about to ask and giggled.

“Stage right, hun,” she said.

You smiled. “Thank you.”

By the time you reached stage right, the show had come back from a commercial break. You stood there as you watched Jimmy explain to Matthew and the audience the activity he had planned for them. It was called “Need Some Water?” The concept was Matthew and you would read thirst tweets and whenever you thought the tweet was overly thirsty you take a sip of water.

Matthew had no idea he was going to be playing with you though. Jimmy handed him a deck of tweets he had printed and had a separate deck in his hand. He handed him a water bottle. He could barely contain his smile as he saw you standing, waiting for your cue to go on stage.

“We’ve actually gotten another guest to participate in “Need Some Water?” Everyone, please give a warm welcome to Y/N Y/L/N,” Jimmy announced.

Matthew’s head shot over to you as you walked out, waving to the audience with a big smile on. You looked at him and his face was nearly on the floor. He immediately stood up with his arms outstretched for you to come into. It was a magnetic connection instantly as you walked over to him and embraced him in a hug. You knew you shouldn’t hold him too long or else people would talk but the warmth of his arms and the scent of his cologne had you enraptured.

He let go of you slowly but without looking you in the eyes to give you a quick smile. You instantly smiled back. He directed you to your seat with a gesture of his hand and you followed the direction it was pointing at. You both sat down with goofy smiles splattered on your faces.

“Thanks for joining us, Y/N,” Jimmy said.

“Thanks for having me. I’m very excited to read what people say about me,” you said.

He chuckled as he handed you a bottle of water and the deck of tweets. Matthew took them from him to hand to you. He was such a gentleman. You took them from his hands and couldn’t help to feel butterflies fluttering inside your gut.

“You might find a few tweets from Matthew in your deck,” he joked.

“He might find a few of mine in his deck actually,” you joked.

You heard everyone in the audience go “ooo” and knew you sparked something again. You laughed as you looked at Matthew who looked down at his deck, shaking his head trying not to laugh. He wasn’t doing a good job of hiding it. Jimmy was having the time of his life cackling at your joke.

“Okay, okay, let’s start. Matthew, go,” Jimmy said.

Matthew turned over the first card and immediately opened his bottle of water. He took a long sip of his water so you knew it was a ridiculously thirsty tweet. Everyone laughed as he finished drinking his water before he even started to read the tweet.

“I would let Matthew Gray Gubler break my back in bed like a glow stick,” he read trying his best not to laugh too much.

You and everyone else freely laughed at the tweet. You excitedly turned over your deck to read your tweet. You covered your mouth trying to conceal your laugh.

“Y/N Y/L/N could just stare at me for a second too long and I would get pregnant,” you read.

“I think valid points were made. I’m currently pregnant with Y/N’s baby as well,” Matthew joked.

“Ugh, I hope it’s an Aries baby,” you joked.

“I dibs on being the Godfather,” Jimmy said.

Everyone laughed before Matthew went back to looking at the tweets in his deck. He chuckled to himself as he read it in his head. He looked up at the audience before bursting out laughing.

“If Matthew Gray Gubler took me out on a date and told me to pay for the bill, I would simply run my bank card deeper into the negatives for that man,” he read.

You laughed. “That’s a true fan.”

You looked at your deck and giggled. You opened up your water and took a long sip because the tweet was extremely thirsty. You saw out of the corner of your eye Matthew was watching you sip your water but he tried to gaze at the tweet in your hand. You didn’t leave him hanging for too long. You cleared your throat before reading it.

“If Y/N Y/L/N ever put an ad on craigslist asking if anyone had a dog up for sale, I’d tell her yes and meet her at her doorstep on all fours ruffing,” you read.

Matthew covered his mouth trying not to laugh too hard. Everyone else in the audience and Jimmy freely laughed. You felt your face get hot from all the laughing you were doing but also the fact you had serious admirers out there.

Matthew cleared his throat before reading his. “Maybe if I pretend to be a bird outside Matthew Gray Gubler’s window long enough he’ll open his window to let me in.”

You laughed. “These pretending to be animal tweets are too wild.”

“Do you have more like that?” Matthew asked.

You looked down at your pile. “No, this one’s actually kinda cute. If I knew Y/N Y/L/N I would love her forever and never let her go. Duh.”

Everyone in the audience ‘awed’ but you noticed Matthew was quite silent at your tweet. You looked at him and noticed he seemed a bit bothered by the tweet. He smiled politely but he wasn’t as energetic as he was before.

“Read yours,” you encouraged.

“Matthew Gray Gubler, please for the love of God, leak your nudes already,” he chuckled.

He took a long sip of his water. You giggled as you looked at your next tweet. You laughed loudly as you read it. Matthew turned to you in curiosity as to what made you so giddy.

“If someone doesn’t kiss Y/N Y/L/N already, I will. I will gladly volunteer and do it forever,” you said.

Everyone had a mix of ‘awe’s’ and laughs except for Matthew who was kind of stoned face. He still smiled politely for the camera but you knew something was wrong. You took a sip of your water as you tried to figure out what expression he was giving off. Was it possibly jealousy?

“That’ll be it for “Need Some Water?” Give a big round of applause to Matthew Gray Gubler and Y/N Y/L/N for coming on the show,” Jimmy said as he stood up to clap for you two.

You both waved at the audience with big grins before getting up to say your goodbye’s to Jimmy. He gave you both big hugs and started to ramble on about how much he appreciated you taking the time to come on the show. He also gushed about being a big fan of Criminal Minds which was always touching to hear.

Once the two of you finally exited the show stage, you grabbed and held onto Matthew’s arm as you two walked. He looked at you with a small smile with quizzical eyebrows trying to figure out what you were doing. You narrowed your eyes at him to look through his nonchalant expression.

“Is someone jealous?” You asked.

“Me? Jealous of tweets? No,” he said as he shook his head.

“I know I’m not a real profiler, but I know jealousy from a mile away,” you said.

“Is that so?” He asked.

You nodded your head. “Of course. You don’t have to be jealous of fans though.”

“I’m jealous they have more guts to tell you they want to be with you more than I do,” he said.

You stopped dead in your tracks. He stopped as well to turn back and look at your floored face. You think that was the closest Matthew had ever been to saying how he truly felt about you.

“You want to be with me? Like for real, for real?” You asked.

He chuckled as he awkwardly looked down at his shoes. He soon looked back up at you with a smile as he nodded his head.

“Yeah,” he softly said.

You pulled his arm towards you and leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek. He looked at you with a soft smile before leaning in to you and you received the message. You pecked each other on the lips quickly before parting as if nothing happened.

“You don’t have to be jealous of thirst tweets. I’d rather the real thing,” you said.

He chuckled. “How about I take you on a real date? Next Saturday sound good to you?”

You smiled wide. “Any day with you would be good to me.”

He smiled. “Great. I’ll text you tonight. See you soon, Y/N.”

“You too.”

You waved goodbye to each other. You stood there as you watched him walk away. To think a talk show would actually make him confess his feelings for you. Wild Wildmoore thoughts  *sing this to the tune of Rihanna’s song*

Okkkkk so I’m sorry but I’m laughing at the way *some* Kanemoore shippers tried to shit on Wildmoore and then it turned out that we all were getting played because that wasn’t even the real Kate. KaTE rEmbERs SopHie. HA lol. Only a small laugh because that shit could happen to any of our ships. But this is why I don’t like shipwars because them writers will make you look stupid af. HUMBLE THEYSELF. 

Moving on to Wildmoore thoughts after episode 2.17. I purposely keep my expectations low because after that fake out of Ryan touching Sophie’s hand photo that didn’t make the final cut of the show- I now have trust issues. So when everyone was flipping out that Sophie was going to talk to Ryan, I was trying to breathe. I still got my hopes up a tad because the Wildmoore was once again back to being subtle. My fave parts were when Sophie casually asked Ryan to live with her. I’m sorry yall but Sophie has a crush on Ryan and I don’t think Sophie realizes this yet. Ryan is too wrapped up in other shit to notice as well. The other part I liked was when Sophie told fake Kate to let Ryan go. However I really really wanted Sophie to shoot fake Kate. Is this a love triangle brewing or nahhh?? I still feel like the writers still don’t know which direction they are going to take this. I just don’t particularly like Sophie being thirsty over Kate and with it being fake Kate it just comes off very one sided and Sophie is too fukin hot and perfect for that shit. 

-Not a Wildmoore thought really but the fact that it was revealed that Kate was faking it made me wonder if that was why Wallis and Meagan did not have chemistry on screen. Was Wallis purposely playing it that way? Like on episode 2.16 when they “reunited”, I didn’t see the sparks AT ALL and I was like, is this Wallis acting like someone who just found their long lost love because I don’t buy it. BUT NOWWW it would actually make more sense if she was doing that on purpose. So now my other thought is, will they actually have chemistry if Kate gets her memory back??

-I don’t ship Kanemoore TBH. I really thought I would but I want Sophie to be with Ryan. If not Ryan i’ma need her to be with another Black girl. And I need her to be with somebody who challenges her and makes her a better person. The way Ryan does. It’s really the slow burn for me. I wouldn’t mind if they picked it up just a lil bit but I love watching them go from people who hated each other, to people who tolerate each other, to kind of friends, to friends, to roommates maybe, (and they were roommates)  to lovers maybe. 

-Did anyone notice the parallels of the scene when fake Kate was talking to Sophie and being fake sappy and then they get interrupted with the text about Ryan. it was very similar to when Ryan and Imani were flirting in the bar and Sophie walks in and interrupts them. I feel like this shit is not accidental. 

-I said this already but I’m still not over Sophie casually telling Ryan she can live with her. That’s literally out of a fanfic. 

-Sorry one more thing and I don’t mean this to be rude but I’m kind of very much cringing now at Wallis and Meagan’s “flirting” online. It’s very much forced almost like Kanemoore. I think it’s funny because the ones that aren’t forced is Ryan/Sophie and Javicia/Meagan. I fully believe that they told them to play it up so that people can get invested in Kanemoore again but I wish they would be more natural and organic about it. Like it’s way more sexy to flirt when it’s not even on purpose and the flirting just comes naturally from sexual tension and mutual feelings. Not being so blatant like “I just got up from the floor because I fainted from seeing this photo.” …. “Oh do you want me to revive you.” Like bless Megs and Wally but good lawd the second hand embarrassment. I think that’s why people are drawn more to Wildmoore and even Mary/Ryan because it’s not so in your face and blatantly being forced by the actors. It’s people noticing like wow those two have chemistry maybe something is there between them. Again no hate intended. I explained in the beginning how any of our ships can get shipwrecked. These are just my current thoughts. 

edit: Just saw the promo pics and saw Kate and Sophie face to face. I’m not gon lie. I def want to see Megs and Wally kiss after all that shit they be talkin on insta. In all honestly I’m wanting to see jealous Ryan but she don’t seem like she gives enough of a fuck LMAO. Sophie is the one that looks like she’s crushing on Ryan. So it would be interesting to see Sophie maybe realize that Kate isn’t who she wants anymore. Orrr maybe Kate gets jealous of Ryan. The possibilities are endless. Okay let’s clear something up here. I saw a really bad take on Jeremy’s Greatest Showman medley in his tag and we just need to break this down. Basically, this person said that Jeremy stans are salty Hugh and Zac ended up in The Greatest Showman. Fair take. Personally, I haven’t seen any of this (despite following numerous Jeremy stans all over my social media) but you know what fandoms can be like so okay cool that’s not a problem.

One thing I will point out about this though is Hugh was always working on the project anyway... so unsure about that specific point? We all knew that information and Jeremy was always too young for Barnum’s role anyway. He ever acknowledges this in his performance. He did the demos for the songs, and said he thought nothing would come of it because the role wasn’t a fit for him. He only got his hopes up when the role of Phillip was created as this was something he could do.

Anyway in the comments of said post, was someone saying that Jeremy needs to stop going around speaking about “the day I was almost cast in the greatest showman, it’s so pathetic” and the OP and someone else agreed with them. And I’m sitting here like wow they really misunderstood the performance. I can understand that if they’ve never watched Jeremy before maybe they think he’s coming across as arrogant? Him calling himself the "true saviour of movie musicals” is literally just his sense of humour, and it was an obvious joke. He’s actually a very modest person. He’s spoken various different times about not feeling like he’s good enough.

First of all, Jeremy’s medley isn’t him moping around like “this job was mine all along and zac efron stole it what a thief”. His performance is an amusing take on something in his life that was difficult for him to process. It’s perfectly valid to feel sad about a rejection. But Jeremy is a professional actor. He’s no stranger to rejection in this cut-throat industry and he certainly wasn’t slating other actors in expressing these feelings. He’s allowed to tell the story from his perspective. I first saw him perform this medley in London over a year ago and neither me or my friends felt like it was him taking a swipe and Hugh and Zac. It was just an honest, but humerous re-enactment of how his time working on The Greatest Showman went.

Second, one of the things said was that he was bitter about a role he “didn’t even audition for”. SPARE ME, PLEASE. It’s not completely wild for actors to be cast in projects from workshops alone with no audition. I laughed so hard at this comment because Keala Settle (a queen) is literally right there. It doesn’t always happen, but it can happen. Another recent example I can think of from the top of my head is Carrie Hope Fletcher being cast in ALW’s Cinderella. She never auditioned for that, she only did the workshop and then they asked her to do the role. Sometimes the workshop... is the audition.

So it’s valid for him to feel like he stood a chance, and to then be disheartened by the fact he was never truly being considered. If I was in his position I probably would have wanted to be out of that room asap too. Imagine you’ve just done a not-so-great vocal performance because you’re ill and then overhearing that your journey with this project is over? Would you honestly stick around in that situation? I’d be feeling sort of embarrassed and demoralised. I doubt he just slipped out ungratefully without thanking people for the opportunity though as Pasek and Paul are friends of his. Plus, he’s been working in the industry long enough to know coming across as salty isn’t good for your reputation going forward. And he certainly was moping around in the behind-the-scenes video released on YouTube. Despite him feeling like he had given a terrible performance, outwardly he presented himself very enthusiastically like the true professional he is. Remember as well that they asked him to do the read-through and then he had to buy his own plane ticket even though they wanted him there.

Then, they posted a news article linking to a headline that said something about ‘Jeremy losing role to Zac Efron’. Do they think Jeremy personally controls what they write about his performance? I feel like no one should have taken that article seriously the moment it called him ‘Supergirl’s Jeremy Jordan’. We all know he is ‘Tony-nominated Broadway star Jeremy Jordan’ (although the article was correct in saying that Jeremy deserves to be in a major movie musical, let’s be real he’s talented af).

I need to point out (after checking out their blogs) these people are all hardcore Zac/Hugh fans. I feel like they’re just doing anything to make it seem like their fandom is being attacked, which I don’t really understand. It’s a shame they feel like they can’t enjoy this Greatest Showman content, if I’m honest. I’m also here as a huge fan of Zac and Hugh and would definitely not be taking any kind of slander against them... which is why I enjoy Jeremy’s Greatest Showman Medley... because it is NOT slander against them. Plus, if you’re truly a fan of The Greatest Showman then just be grateful Jeremy swooped in and sang all of Hugh’s songs even when he was ill himself for the read-through that got the movie greenlit.

Sometimes I feel like people want to create the idea that the environment on the set was toxic af because rege left, so the cast obviously has to have faults. I’m so embarrassed when I read those takes. From what I’ve seen the cast has always been super supporting of Simone (and charitra also), I’ve seen comments and stories. But still it doesn’t mean anything since I don’t make what I see on social as the thruth. But they looked super chill and relaxed in the tudum interview so I genuinely think there isn’t any “hate” or “jealousy” as someone want so much. God I want them to start press so much, so we have something to talk about and not this stupid takes ahahahah

Tbh I don't think Rege leaving has anything to do with the atmosphere in there. I know many actors hate the environment in which Shonda makes them work (meaning she picks favourites and then plays game against the cast members. It's very manipulative and many cast members of Grey's Anatomy suffered due to this)But Shonda went heights to make him stay (I'm not going to spill on how because I really don't wanna argue about this m it was insulting for Phoebe to say the least and im pretty sure the reason she is staying is because she loves the show and the cast.) So, it really doesn't have to do anything with the environment, besides Tom Verica and Shonda praise him all the time anyway. Maybe he had strictly professional relationship with the cast, it's not that deep, so he didn't have the friendship that others shared. It was strictly professional and that's fine.

And it was so good to see Simone and Charithra feeling happy and welcome, I know it can be a lot of stress, they actually were so at ease and happy, I love them so much! And I cannot wait for the promo to start because I NEED MORE OF THEM

So, I listened to this podcast about tv shows and it was an old episode from february '19 when Killing Eve first aired where I live. Since I only watched the whole show this past summer I wanted to hear what they said about the 1st season of KE. Anyway, the female host was all excited about it and praised both roles, JC and SO, the writing, the style and fashion and music etc. But the guy host did not like it, did not get the hype around it, did not get why there was any homoerotic subtext in it or why they played with it so much and he also had the guts to say that he did not think that Jodie was "not that beautiful" or that he did not like Sandra on GA back then, he found her role there annoying and "what did she do after leaving that show anyway, was she on anything??" I was fuming when I listened to that. And I was disappointed but a show I normally liked. But also, it gave me a weird sort of secondhand embarrassement? Like how can you say these things and think you know what you are talking about? Don't be so sure. The show and their stars awards speak from themselves. It was so bad. Just ugh.

If they mean from the Halloween franchise, idk because I haven't watched them all. For the holiday it's gotta be Hocus Pocus. Or 31.

Hm... love the things Wes Craven has done. Also Ari Aster does some pretty cool shit in his movies despite being newer. I like Jordan Peele but I'm too stupid to understand his style.

21. name the top five WORST horror films that you've sat through

I enjoy watching bad movies so I'm going with like, they're bad and I would not watch them again. Not they're bad and I like them lmao (like The Happening - bad, but I like it.)

1 - The Green Inferno. It had potential but the story was dumb as hell. You mean to tell me this tribe out in the rainforest will see a group of college kids who are directly next to a plane crash in bright jumpsuits and go, "oh these people are from our rival tribe, better cannibalize them." Nah, fam. Idk the setup was blah for me.

2 - Fantasy Island. I enjoyed this movie until like the last hour. I really liked the premise but then it just... uuuugh. The ending was aggravating af.

3 - Blair Witch 2. Man, what a letdown of a sequel lmao.

4 - Silent Hill: Revelation. You mean to tell me Jon Snow is Father Vincent? Gtfo. What even was this? They had a good cast to work with and just... come ooonnnn.

5 - Paranormal Activity. I might catch some hate for this one but idk I thought it was kinda boring?

Honorable mention - Cloverfield. I got too motion sick while trying to watch it to actually finish it, so it couldn't make the list as I've only seen about half of it.
