So I have been debating this. I think all my blogs will be considered low activity. I just can't focus here when I am trying to write a book.

So writing Lark's novel is going to be my priority for the time being. I really want to get published.

While Lark held respect for Viago, and affection for Teia, House de Riva was no home of hers. It never had been. The strained tension between herself and the 5th talon could be cut with a knife, and while she knew his heart was in the right place, Lark could not allow Viago in. She couldn't let anyone in, if she were being honest. 

When Emmrich suggested that they rendezvous at cafe Pietra, Lark was already getting up.

antivan crows boast a fantastical imagery. lucanis and lark have been steadily peeling back the paint. assassins are people, still; beneath the shade of death favored by them, the noose instead of the grave digger, lies an inscrutable soul. viago and teia revealed in lark's a familiar wrinkle. emmrich refrains from looking back at the fifth talon. she is his priority.

"not to worry! i spotted the most charming little table on our way here. let us shelf the subject, indulge in a well-earned treat," does café pietra serve tea? one can hope, "and wait for lucanis to rendezvous with us. shall we take the stairs or ziplines?"
