"A lot of people used to make fun of me collecting art," Swizz tells VF. "I won't say no names, but they're the biggest names."

À l’image de ses goûts musicaux éclectiques, Alex Pall a récemment acheté une villa des années trente qui brasse les styles architecturaux. Le nouveau propriétaire a souhaité intégrer à la décoration une ouverture d’esprit chic et sexy et mettre en valeur sa collection d’œuvres d’art. Sur le mur j'ai cliqué sur la toile du peintre John Baldessari récemment décédé (1931-2020). Depuis sa première exposition en 1960, John Baldessari a eu plus de deux cents expositions individuelles et a participé à plus de mille expositions de groupe. Et bien qu'il ait affirmé que "l'art ne s'enseigne pas", Baldessari a également assumé des missions d'enseignement pendant de nombreuses années, notamment à l'académie d'art CalArts (California Institute of the Arts) au nord de Los Angeles.
