tysm!!
of course of course! it’s my pleasure doing this trade with you! thank you! anyways;
let’s start of with…
𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐤𝐮 !
-he could listen to you talk for hours upon hours. he would not get bored either, he would just stare at you with his intense yet comfortable eyes and urge you one to continue talking about whatever you’re talking about. he’d even ask questions or make connections to the things you’re talking about. it would be a pretty loud conversation between the both of you
-once he hears you speak another language he’s shocked at first, but then he becomes so intrigued and interested with it. he asks lots of questions about the language you speak and also asks what certain words are in said language. he mostly asks about words that he can use to compliment you. his pronunciation might not be too good but he’s trying!
-the two of you will never stop talking, it’s impossible for you guys to. people have tried to force the two of you to stop but it has not worked. as i said before he could listen to you talk for hours. he honestly just likes that someone is just like him, extroverted, can talk for hours, a loud talker, and optimistic
-the two of you are literally the father figures to a lot of people. you constantly have to remind the people you care about to do something and Rengoku would chime in like, “Yes! They also need to do this!” this often leads to a lot of people gravitating towards the two of you because of you guy’s warm aura. and being protective of others also comes with Rengoku being protective of you as well!
-he would never say anything rude about you, i don’t think he even can, he’ll shut down if anything rude comes out of his mouth when he’s talking about you. and he’d never leave you alone for a long time. but if there’s the small chance he ever does he’d reassure a million times and deny any negative thing your mind has came up with.
𝐆𝐨𝐣𝐨 !
-once he hears you speaking a different language he becomes so intrigued and amazed, he thinks it’s so cool. he’ll kinda ask some unnecessary questions and will not stop asking them for days and days. he’ll ask you how to say curse words in the languages you know, i mean who doesn’t automatically learn curse words first when learning a new language?
-so we all know that Gojo is a very stylish man. he would totally match outfits with you. no matter what style you choose for the day, he finds a lot of your styles very interesting and can’t help but regularly buy clothing that fits whatever style he finds interesting , he’d sometimes even wear it without matching it you, he just wears it to wear it and because the style is cool. but i also think he would tease you with certain clothing styles.
-the two of you are literally so silly together. the two of you will just be outside together and everyone in a 5 mile radius can hear your laughter. he’d make you pull or help him pull some shenanigans with his students. and while the two of you are out you guys would randomly choose someone and point stuff out about them, or at least Gojo would.
-whenever Gojo is bored he’ll ask you something about whatever has your interest at the moment. he’s also one that can listen to you talk for hours, he’ll also add some stuff that reminds him of what you’re talking about. and sometimes he’ll tend to talk over you so that’s when you have to give him a little nudge and he’ll let you continue what you were talking about.
-we all know Gojo can say some teasing things, it’s in his nature to. but if he ever says anything that upsets you and makes you start overthinking he’ll drop the funny guy act immediately and genuinely apologize to you. he can’t stand seeing you act so cold and aggressive towards him.

"Everyone's here"? Are Atsushi and Dazai connected in a psychic way??
Ok, ever since we talked about this in our Discord server, I can't stop thinking about this. So I had to write it down. There will be spoilers for the new chapter 91 and in general manga spoilers.
The thing that bothered us (brought up by @samsa19) was that in the latest chapter Atsushi said that everyone is here. But then he corrects himself saying that not everyone is here.
Curiously, he only thinks about Kenji and Tanizaki. But what about Dazai? It could be that he was only referring to the ADA member that they know could be there. Like Dazai is still expected to be in prison, so he wasn't included in "everyone". (@justanotherdamnedweeb's input)
Another possibility could be that it didn't feel like Dazai was missing bc what Atsushi also says is that the power of the ADA is now collected.
(interpretations by @buraihatranslations )
Even though Dazai is physically not here, he can still help from there, collecting information from Fyodor and transferring them to Ango and the ADA. Therefore, you could say that everyone's power is now united.
A different aspect to this could also be that Atsushi is not referring to Dazai's power being with them but Dazai himself. Ofc I don't mean physically, but rather that Atsushi feels like Dazai is mentally with him. We all remember the beginning. Whenever Atsushi felt helpless and doubted himself, he would imagine the headmaster who insults him as a good-for-nothing. But throughtout the story, the headmaster appears less and less. At one point Dazai starts to pop into his head, spurring him on. So mentally Dazai is there in Atsushi's mind, supporting him.
(from @aoi-samidare)
Therefore, there are two metaphorical ways to interpret this "everyone is here" thing. Maybe it's a combination of both. But what if it's not only metaphorical? What if there is some connection that allows Dazai to communicate with Atsushi? (It was Sam who drew my/our attention to this possibility) It's this scene in Anne's room that is really bothering. It's after the events in the Sky Casino. Sigma fell to the ground and the Hounting Dogs saw Atsushi trying to save Sigma. Back in Anne's room, Ango, Atsushi, Kyouka and Lucy are contemplating what to do next after their plan has failed. Suddenly Dazai appears.
(translation by @akai-koutei)
It's different from when he hallucinated about the headmaster. Before he was really absorbed into his hallucinations but not here. When he saw Dazai it felt like he's more "conscious" than he was when seeing the headmaster. Even Atsushi himself says: "Is Dazai-san using some way to pass a message?" So to him, it doesn't feel like a hallucination as well...
After that he abruptly passes out and when he wakes up he has this expression:
(translation by @akai-koutei)
This empty expression, the eyes faded out and then that narrowing of the eyes ... doesn't that look very familiar? Well, at least it does to me. Atsushi reminds me so much of Dazai here. Maybe there is a connection between Dazai and Atsushi through which Dazai can pass some kind of messages? There are theories that Dazai and Atsushi are connected to the book and if this is true, it would be possible that there is some psychic link between them. Both @samsa19 and @cyb3r1a have a theory on this. You can find Sam's here and Rei's here. Make sure to check them out, I find both extremely interesting.
Actually, what made me think of this possible connection between Dazai and Atsushi all the time was the latest BSD Wan! episode?? Like, Dazai and Atsushi swapped bodies without any reason? As if there is some kind of psychic connection between them? I mean, yes, Asagiri sensei didn't write the wan stories, and they don't happen in the canon timeline probably. But still, kanaineco, the writer of BSD Wan!, has met both Sango Harukawa and Asagiri Kafka. Maybe some relationships, characteristics or connections are canon or some kind of hint to the main storyline? Ok, yeah it's a pretty far stretch but because of that I couldn't stop thinking about this. Now it's off my chest, I feel better.
Thank you everyone for this interesting discussion: @samsa19 @cyb3r1a @justanotherdamnedweeb @right-on-the-money
Sorry, if I forgot to mention someone and I hope it's okay that I mention you guys. If not, just tell me!!
Plus, if anyone is interested in joining our Discord server, pls don't shy away to message me or our mods @banunuisthebest or @elk208. We're always happy to welcome new peeps ✨

sora fluff? i just love sora a lot nd is my fav comfort character ( ˶ ❛ ꁞ ❛ ˶ )
a / n : ahhh nonnie, sora is so adorable, my heart beats for him, i love him to bits.. i've read some asobi club stories and they make my heart feel very warm. soRAAAAAAA......... tinepsy. please come home. here's your fluffy, colorful delivery! i really hope you like your package. :D i assumed this was without the usual reader, as it wasn't specified, you can send another request if this is not what you wanted! this is a bit.. more heavy on little drabbles!
✦ — fluffy sora !
sora is always content with just being around the people that he likes, he simply finds comfort in their presence, in their calm colors, as they relax after a long day. they don't have to do or say anything—they can sit next to each other silently, minding their own business, and sora will be happy anyway.
but more than silently being around each other, he likes having fun with them! the best way to have fun in his book is by playing games together. the more the merrier—sora has the strange ability to pull the most random, unlikeliest individuals into his orbit. perhaps it's his energy? nobody knows! all that matters to him is that they're having lots of fun together.
"hoho! what's that?", sora asked, a finger pointed at the strange rock. it was shiny, black dotted with all kinds of pretty colors. the little sunlight they reflected was dyed a pretty blue on his fingertip.
nagisa picked the stone out of the box, holding it out to him. the blonde happily took it, turning it between his fingers to watch the light reflect. like a disco ball. "....honduran opal.", he replied after a while, "....such an opal is rarer than any diamond. it is a representative of harmony and equity."
a tuft of orange popped out of nowhere, shoving himself between sora and nagisa to peer into the rock. "uuuchuuu~! hound run mopal?! hopal?! this mopal is giving me so many ideas!", leo grinned, the cap of a pen between his teeth.
"....please do not write on the opal."
"sora thinks opal is really beautiful!", he laughed, holding the stone away from leo and towards the window. patches of reds and greens and blues decorated the black surface. "haha, it reminds him of nagishan! sora can't see much in it, and light passes through it.. but it's full of pretty colors!"
"heeeey! a song can make it even prettier! gimme, gimme, before my inspiration runs out, soraaaaa!~"
sora sees the world very colorfully. he thinks every shade has its own nice things to it, everything has its beauty. muted colors are calming, vibrant colors make him feel happy, cold ones make him refreshed and warm ones make him feel welcome. he likes to tell that to people—so sometimes, he'll even get the color wheel to help him out. he's naturally good with colors, so give him a canvas and watch him create wonders.
he likes showing them off sometimes. sora may not draw too well, but the use of colors really makes his little paintings.. interesting. many times before he's attempted to rope tsukasa into his little hobby, simply because they're friends. painting together with friends on one canvas is the best! tsukasa really considers bringing a hazmat suit to their painting sessions though, because sora really likes to swing the brush. half the painting ended up on his face.
"haruk— ah..", tsukasa sighed, swiping another patch of blue off of his face. his apron was not the color it used to be, covered in splashes and splatters of all shades of the rainbow. and so was the cover underneath their feet, and his socks.
sora hummed at the call of his name, turning his head. "wow!! haha, tsuka-chan looks like a reaaaal artist!", he laughed, then went to swipe a stripe of green down his own cheek. "hehe, look, we match now!"
"i believe we appear more like the creation, rather than the creators.", the redhead retorted, looking into the mirror at the opposite side of the room. both of their heads were full of paint. "harukawa-kun, please, tell me that this is washable."
sora really likes video games, all kinds of them. and a lot of video games have that sweet, sweet multiplayer option! he very much prefers to play with his friends at the same console rather than simply online, because being with them makes the game much more fun than being alone in his room, talking to the screen. and the fact that there's a console right in the school makes everything better because that means all of his friends can play.
experienced or not, sora doesn't care. he likes to teach people to play the games—he thinks it's really nice to watch their colors change from unsure to confident, the more they play the game. but there's a certain someone that never seems to change colors from unsure. the more he knows, the more unsure tsumugi gets with the controller.
"..eh? how did he?..", tsumugi blinked, looking as if he's seen a ghost. the game over screen flashed, bright and red. "oh goodness.. i'm so sorry!.. i'm not very good at these video games.. here, i'll go call natsume-kun to play with you!", he blabbered, placing the controller down to go grab his phone.
sora turned, draping himself over the back of the sofa. "noooo!! don't call shishou, sora wants to play with you today!", he interrupted, "sora always spends so much time with shishou, he wants to spend some with you too! it's okay if you make mistakes, sora still likes playing with you! he thinks senpai is a great partner!"
tsumugi instantly dropped his phone, going starry-eyed.

Werewolf - 4
Writer: Nishioka Maiko
Season: Summer
Proofreading: 310mc (JP)
Translation: Bella & hyenahunt
Hiyori: I saw it in a drama just last week! Any criminal who acts like that will definitely come back to the scene of the crime!
[Location: Seisou Hall Kitchen]
Jun: What d'you want for a late-night snack, then? How 'bout some cup ramen?
Hiyori: If there's nothing else, then I'm fine with it, I suppose. I did want something healthier to eat, though!
Natsume: Hold ON. Would you grab that bottle of tea for ME?
Hiyori: This? Here you go.
Sora: …! Master~
Natsume: Hm? Ah, Sora. Welcome BACK. Are you done with work for NOW? Good job on sticking it OUT.
Sora: Oh, yep. Thankies~. Sora did his best today.
Natsume: What's the matTER? You're not as lively as usuAL… Did something bad happen at WORK?
Sora: Huh? Oh, uh, n-not really~? Sora's as energetic as ever!
Er, or maybe not~? Sora guesses he might just be kinda tired from work.
Natsume: ? Hmmm?
Jun: By the way, Harukawa-kun, why’d you pop by the kitchen?
Sora: Huh? Ummm… Sora got a little hungry…?
Jun: Ohh. If you're hungry then I could fix up a li'l late-night snack for you? I'm already preparing one for Ohii-san, anyway.
Sora: Oh! It's okay! Sora guesses he wasn't actually hungry after all~?
He's definitely full, so he doesn't need to have dinner!
Natsume: ...Sora? You're acting so strangeLY… Are you really oKAY?
Sora: Huh? Y-Yep! Sora's just like he always is, isn't he?
Since Sora's so worn out from work today, he's gonna go back to his room and hit the hay. Good night!
Natsume: Huh?
Jun: ? He sure ran off, huh? He didn't have to make a break for it like that, though. Is he really that tired?
Hiyori: That's rather suspicious. Something certainly smells fishy to me. You see, I've recently come to know of people who behave the very same way that Sora-kun just did.
Everyone, conceal yourselves at once! I believe Sora-kun will make his return shortly. Come now, hurry!
Natsume: H-Hold ON. Don't just shove me DOWN! Why do we have to HIDE!?
Hiyori: I saw it in a drama just last week! Any criminal who acts like that will definitely come back to the scene of the crime!
Natsume: Watch your MOUTH. Don't compare him to a crimiNAL.
Hiyori: Of course I don't think Sora-kun has committed any actual crime, but he was clearly lying, no? I'm absolutely positive he'll come back soon.
No matter if he doesn't, but there's no harm in trying to hide. So hurry up!
Natsume: Do you have any evidence for THIS?
Hiyori: Not at all! It’s simply what my detective's intuition tells me, you see.
Natsume: Detective's intuiTION… Ugh, is it just ME, or has this guy gotten influenced by someTHING?
Jun: It might be the detective drama he's been really into lately, actually...?
Sorry you got dragged into Ohii-san's theatrics. I'm sure he'll give up when nothing happens, so please play along just a li'l.
Natsume: What a pain in the ass — fine, I get IT! So don't shove ME, like I just SAID!!
Well? How much longer until he reTURNS?
Hiyori: Not too long, now. I just know he'll come back!
Jun: You say that, but we've already been waiting for a while, yeah? Isn't it 'bout time to give up, Ohii-san?
— Wait, huh? Isn't that the sound of footsteps getting closer?
Sora: …...
Natsume: That's… Sora?
Hiyori: See, what did I tell you? He really did come back!
Hm~? Now he's taking something out of the fridge? Whatever could it be?
Natsume: It's… milk and bottled waTER?
He was thirsTY, so he just came back to get something to DRINK. So WHAT.
Jun: But isn't that kinda weird? I mean, if he'd just grabbed them while we were around he would've spared himself the second trip.
Natsume: Maybe he only realized he was thirsty when he got back to his ROOM.
Hiyori: Even if he's thirsty, drinking both milk and water seems rather excessive, in my opinion.
Natsume: …...
Hiyori: Well, in the end, your guess is as good as mine. If you're so concerned about it, asking Sora-kun directly would be your best bet.
I'm simply satisfied with the fact that my prediction came true —
Huh? On that note, Jun-kun, what about my late-night ramen?
Jun: Oh, shit! I totally forgot about it!
Hiyori: ...Aww. It's gone completely soggy...
Natsume: ...

Saimatsu Valentines Day Prompt!
Heeey, my good peoples! Happy Valentines Day!! ♥ Naturally, I wanted to write a cute little oneshot for it~ This time: with my saimatsu babies!! I just thought it would be cute to write something for them for once, hehe...
Summary: For Valentines Day, Kaede wanted to make homemade chocolates for her crush, Shuichi. But since she normally never cooks, she had Maki assist her in making chocolates that actually come out good. And not only will she want to give him romantic chocolates, but: finally confess how she feels, too...
So yeah, I hope you all will enjoy! And as always, thank you so much in advanced if you decide to give it a read. May you all have a nice day, and indulge in some chocolatey treats, regardless if you celebrate today or not! 🍫
"What the hell, Akamatsu." Was the immediate reaction of Maki once she saw the disaster of a kitchen before her very eyes. Splotches of ingredients stained the counter, bowls messily stacked upon each other, and the pot Kaede had used to whisk everything together... was completely burnt at the bottom. And the practice chocolates she had made... looked burnt and greatly misshapen.
"H-Hahah....haaah....." Is the only thing the pianist can utter in response, before she gives several bows. "S-Sorry! I tried to make them on my own, I-I really did! But it uh... diiidn't go exactly well..." She laughs weakly, with even her apron looking like a mess. Tomorrow was Valentine’s Day: the reason Kaede had even attempted to try making chocolates in the first place. While she normally would buy chocolates for her friends... this time, she wanted to actually make them for a very special person. That person being: Saihara Shuichi. To pretty much everyone else in their class-aside from the very boy himself, funnily enough-it was obvious as day Kaede had a big crush on the detective. Not only did she want to give him chocolates that were homemade... but ones that were supposed to be romantic. Even if the thought of giving the guy she likes chocolates was completely nerve-wrecking, not only knowing if he’d like romantic chocolates from her or if he’ll even realize they’re supposed to be romantic: she wanted to believe it would go well, shaking her head of the thoughts of it going badly.
Though... the progress of actually trying to make chocolates, as Maki could see: was not exactly going well at all. Kaede normally isn't allowed to cook, as to avoid the risk of her injuring her fingers, due to being a pianist. It was times like these where she really wished she could cook, since there was no way she was going to give Shuichi these badly made attempts. That's why Maki was here: in a near desperate plea, Kaede called her to ask her to come to her house so she could help her out. Reluctantly, the "child caregiver" gave in and came over after enough begging, since actually she felt a bit bad for Kaede. Sighing, she just shakes her head and goes to tie her hair up in a single high ponytail. "Yeah, I can see that. Fine, I'll help you: but you're still going to be doing most of the work. It's for Saihara, after all."
"Yes!!" She nods, pumping her fists. "All you have to do is watch my progress, make sure I don't screw up! Thanks once again in advance for this!"
A small mumble in response, Maki goes to grab some of the used dishes. "Let's clean up first and then grab a clean apron."
"O-Okay..!" Once the girls take a moment to clean the counter and wash the dishes, Kaede places her stained apron in a laundry basket, before grabbing a clean one, along with giving Maki one. They start setting up the bowls, kitchen tools, and pot they'll need. Kaede also had a silicone heart mold tray she'll use, which makes Maki have to wonder how she still managed to mess up the shapes of them, anyway. As they're measuring out the ingredients, Kaede shows Maki the recipe for homemade chocolates she had been using. "And then for an extra ingredient, I wanted to add espresso powder... so they can be espresso flavored dark chocolates! Since Saihara-kun likes coffee and all...y-you think he'll like it?"
"...Probably." Is her nonchalant answer before she adds: "I mean... I'm sure he will, I guess. Saihara is cheesy enough to like whatever you'd make him, anyway. ‘Because Akamatsu-san made it!’ or whatever he’d say..." Her imitation of Shuichi, and the crack of a smirk on her face, made it obvious she was joking.
"Heheh.... yeah, I could see him saying that, too. Then, yeah: I’m sure he’ll probably like it, then! Okay, so first things first: melting the coconut oil in the pot!" A nod from Maki to indicate her to go ahead, she watches Kaede head over to the pot to start emptying the bowl of coconut oil into the pot... after cracking the fire up way too high.
".........." Immediately, Maki goes over to turn the fire down to a much lower level. "Don't have the fire up so high, you'll burn the coconut oil."
"O-Oh...!" Blinking in surprise, she turns to Maki and gives a flustered nod. “Thank you, sorry!" Sighing, Maki makes sure to keep a close eye on her as she stirs the gradually melting oil. Once it is completely melted, Kaede transfers it to a mixing bowl. It would now be time to add the cocoa powder, honey, vanilla, and sea salt to the mixture, along with the additional flavor of espresso powder.
"Don't whisk it so hard, and not so fast, either. You're trying to make sure all the ingredients are incorporated together, not making splotches fly everywhere."
"R-Right...!" Since that was the exact mistake Kaede made with the practice chocolates. This time, she was whisking at a much better speed and pace, avoiding making a big mess and making her arm necessarily more sore. "This is already coming out a million times better than before. You really know your stuff, Harukawa-san!" She chimes, a smile widening on her face. "Did you already make some, yourself? Fooor..." Her smile turns more mischievous. "Momota-kun?"
"!?" As if hitting the nail on the head, Maki's face quickly turns red as she tries giving an intimidating glare to Kaede. "D...Do you want to die? Why would I want to give chocolates t-to that idiot... now don't say such stupid things..."
"Hahah, sorry, sorry! I was just teasing you!" Though that reaction told Kaede everything. She didn't want to risk teasing Maki too much, though, so she refrains from saying that, and instead gives her a softer smile. "Really though... thank you. I would've been so hopeless without you!"
"Hmph...." Pouting, she begins stroking her ponytail. "...Don't worry about it. Maybe next time you won't be such a disaster at it." Despite her blunt words, there wasn't actual annoyance in her voice. Maki truly didn't mind helping Kaede out. Even if she found the girl a bit much and annoying at times: she wasn't against considering her a friend. That, and she knows Shuichi feels the same way for Kaede. He was one of her closest friends, alongside Kaito, and Kaede to a lesser extent: so she wanted this to go well for them both, hence why she was secretly happy to help.
Chortling in response, Kaede continues mixing until the chocolate mixture is fully incorporated with no lumps left. She carefully pours the mixture in the silicone mold before placing them in the freezer. "Alright, there we go! Can't wait to see how they'll look..!" In the meantime while the chocolates begin to harden, Kaede and Maki take that time to clean up the kitchen. Around half an hour later, Kaede checks on the chocolates. "Ohhh...!" By then, they had hardened. She takes the tray out of the freezer and sets it on the counter. Popping a chocolate heart out, she turns it around to give it a good look. The chocolate wasn't misshapen, lumpy, burnt... much better than how Kaede's first batch came out. "Harukawa-san, look! They came out perfectly! We did it!!" She cheers, putting it back in its slot before cupping Maki's hands.
"Ah, hey-!" Flinching in surprise from the sudden contact, she just rolls her eyes and sighs. "Yeah, yeah... though it was mostly just you, Akamatsu. I just made sure you wouldn't make the kitchen look like a disaster, again."
"Ahaha... well, still! I wouldn't have been able to do this without your help. Thank you so much...! Now I feel even more confident giving these to Saihara-kun tomorrow." Now all she would need to do is pack them in a chocolate box and give them to Shuichi. Nervous excitement was already building up in her for tomorrow. Will it go well? Will he accept her chocolates... and her confession? Kaede was normally not on to think of a worse case scenario, but even she couldn't help the anxious feeling bubbling up in her if everything doesn't go right. "So, ah... wish me luck! H-Heheh..." She nervously rubs the back of her head. "Not to scare myself or anything, but who knows how tomorrow will go, you know...? And if it's alright with you... I'll want to tell you how it goes afterwards, too."
"Well... if that's what you want. I don't mind. Though... don't act like it could possibly go wrong, or whatever. Saihara's never outright said it, but: I bet he's hoping to get chocolates from you. So... yeah: good luck." And for a moment, a hint of a smile appears on Maki's face.
"Harukawa-san...." Smiling warmly, she could feel some of her nervousness seeping away. "That's right... I just have to believe that it will be okay. I'll make sure it does! Thank you so much...! Okay, then I'll be sure to tell you how it goes..!"
With that, Valentines Day arrives the next day. Kaede had told Shuichi to meet her in a quiet area of campus after school this morning, without telling him the exact reason why. While Shuichi was curious, he thankfully didn't persist, much to Kaede's relief. Though her being unusually more nervous around him during class probably gave an obvious hint as to what the reason may be: Shuichi still didn't want to assume anything... even if he's hoping it's for the exact reason Kaede wants to see him.
Once classes were over for the day, Kaede immediately headed to their meeting spot: an area on campus that was a bit off the path, but was quiet with no one really around. She wanted to give him chocolates in a quiet area where no one could be nosy. "Okay... looks like I made it first. Hggh..." Cupping her arm, she can feel the nervousness kicking right back up as she stares down at the ground. ("Come on, Kaede, don't get nervous already.. he hasn't even shown up yet!")
"...san.."
("Like Harukawa-san said: don't like it could possibly go wrong. A-And if even she thinks Saihara-kun may like me back...!")
"...san? Akamatsu-sa...."
She shakes her head, completely unaware of the soft voice from behind calling out to her. ("So come on, be optimistic! It will go well! Just believe in yourself!! When he arrives, I'll... I'll give him the chocolates, and tell him how I fe-")
"Akamatsu-san!"
Pouting, she swiftly turned around and was about to yell at the person who dares interrupt her- "Geez, what is it, can't you see I'm busy he-?!" Before finally noticing who it was, gasping. "Ah! S-Saihara-kun!!" At his understandably confused reaction, she gives a few frantic bows. "S-Sorry, I didn't notice you there!"
Blinking, he gives a reassuring shake of his head and waves his hand in the air. "A-Ah, it's, um... it's alright. Hi... I'm sorry for taking a moment, I hope I didn't keep you waiting."
"No, no, you're fine! I literally just got here myself, so you're not late. But yeah, hey! Thanks for being willing to do this! I hope it wasn't too sudden a request..."
"Ah, not at all! I don't mind. It seemed like you wanted to tell me something important, so..."
"Y...Yeah..." Before she begins, Kaede takes a quick moment to look around. It was still just them around here, just as she hoped. A soft exhale, she looks back up at the boy. "...Okay, so! You've probably... already guessed why I called you out here, but... still. There's something I... wanted to give you, Saihara-kun. It's in my bag: one moment..." Trying to ignore the increasingly rapid pounding in her heart, Kaede reaches into her backpack to take the box of chocolates out.
"!" Shuichi's eyes widen when he sees it. "Oh! That's...!" He is presented with a heart-shaped chocolate box, with a white bow wrapped around it.
She bows slightly as she holds the chocolates out to him. "F...For you, Saihara-kun: Happy Valentines Day...! I-I... made them, myself!"
"Ahh? You... made these? For me..?" A soft, surprised gasp leaves his lips as he stares down at the box of chocolates. Shuichi knew the pianist was normally not allowed to cook. So for her to not only give him chocolates, but ones that she made, herself... "......." A blush starts to creep onto his face. So his prediction was right, after all... he was surprised, but so happy and relieved. "Akamatsu-san... thank you..." Finally, he gently takes the box of chocolates out of her hands. A shy, yet bright smile appears on his lips. "I'm flattered you would want to give me homemade chocolates..! If it's okay, I would love to try them right now."
"Of course…!" Standing back up straight, she smiles bashfully at him, a soft blush on her face. "And yeah, that's totally fine! I hope you'll love them, Saihara-kun...!"
"I'm sure I will, since Akamatsu-san made them, after all! H-Hehe..."
"Hehe...!" She couldn't help but giggle with him, recalling how Maki said that he would say something just like that. Though it really did make her happy: to hear that Shuichi was confident he was going to like her chocolates. He beckons her to walk over to the nearby tree with them to sit down. Shuichi places the box on his lap before opening it up, an amazed hum leaves his lips when seeing how nice the heart-shaped chocolates look.
"Ohh… These look very nicely made. Alright, let's try one..." Picking one of the pieces up, Shuichi pops it into his mouth. "Mm..." He takes a moment to savor the flavor, a delighted hum emitting from him. Kaede watches him in anticipation, eagerly yet anxiously awaiting his response. Once he's finished the piece, he looks at Kaede with a smile and an approving nod. "Akamatsu-san, these are so good...! Just as I thought, I love these.”
"!!!" Seeing he loved it, her eyes light up and a smile widens on her face as she clasps her hands together. "Yay!! I'm so glad to hear that, Saihara-kun! They're espresso flavored dark chocolates.” She eagerly informs. “I thought, since you like coffee, why not add that additional flavor to them? And Harukawa-san helped me with this, too, since I was a complete disaster trying to make them myself." She chuckles sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head. "So it's honestly thanks to her that these turned out much better than I ever could've made them on my own..."
"Ohh? Espresso flavored, I see... so that's why there was a coffee taste to them. I'm so honored you took that into consideration, Akamatsu-san... they taste absolutely amazing." He smiles softly, giving an intrigued hum. "Ohh, Harukawa-san did, huh? Haha, that was sweet of her to do. But still, it was mostly your hard work that made the chocolates come out as tasty as they did, yes? So I think you should give yourself some more credit... and say, rather: with her help, they came out even better than they already would have, even if you did make them on your own."
"S...Saihara-kun...." A light blush appears on her cheeks. It was always things like that: the sincere, kind things Shuichi said... that made her fall for the boy in the first place. "Th-Thank you for having so much faith in me like that... makes me very happy to hear."
“Of course..." Shuichi picks up another piece and eats it, savoring it just as much as the first piece. Kaede made these for him.... even if she normally doesn't cook, she went out of her way to make homemade chocolates or him. The more he's reminded of that, the more his cheeks heat up and his heart thumps softly in his chest. And for a moment... "......." He wondered if he should ask this, but decided to go for it, a nervous exhale leaving him before he spoke up.
"S-Say, um..... Akamatsu-san? I hope this is not an, um... strange question to ask, but: are these....ah....friendship chocolates?"
"!" Kaede's eyes widened in surprise at his question. "Ah...!" Even though she knew it was coming, she didn't expect him to ask so directly like that. "N-No, it's not strange! I'm just surprised you just came out with it, haha. But, um..." Now it was the moment of truth. The nervousness from before was quickly kicking back into high gear. She was going to say it... she was finally going to say how she feels, once she confirms that these chocolates were completely intended to be romantic. Taking a few deep breaths to keep herself calm... she looks back at him and shakes her head. "No: they aren't friendship chocolates. I... when I made these for you, the intention was... romantic. Th-They are... romantic chocolates."
"....!" Shuichi freezes at her clarification. "A...Ah...." He let out a breath he didn't even know he was holding in. He was nervously anticipating what kind of answer she would give. That part of him hoping so badly that his assumption was wrong. "R...Romantic chocolates?"
"Yes.... so that's why I wanted to do my best to make sure these chocolates came out great. Since I wanted to make... um.... the guy th-that I... that I like, happy." She chuckles shyly, feeling her cheeks heat up again. "I... really like you, Saihara-kun. U-Um: like, like! Since I have a r-really big crush on you and all, a-and!! Wanted to finally tell you that through these homemade chocolates...!" And then once she finally got that out, she hangs her head low, wanting to hide the only worsening blush on her cheeks. The embarrassment she was feeling over stammering her confession out quicker than she had hoped aside... a big wave of relief washed over her after finally telling the detective how she feels. And now it was time for the most nerve-wrecking part of all: awaiting his response.
"........." Shuichi just stares at her, too shocked to form an immediate response. His eyes are widened and a deep blush crosses his face. "Ah. A-Ah..." She likes him.... Kaede, the girl he truthfully has been crushing on badly in turn, likes him: like, likes him, as she stated. He could feel his heart bouncing around like crazy in his chest, feeling so overwhelmingly happy right now. He heard exactly what he was hoping so badly to hear: just as much as he was hoping these were not platonic chocolates. "You like...me...? H-Had a crush on...me? Oh..." He stares down at the ground, one hand to his chest as he gives a few deep breaths. Kaede was brave enough to confess her feelings... so he wanted to give her a proper response back. "....Akamatsu-san."
She gave two nods in confirmation at his questions. And when he calls her name like that, knowing he wants her to look up at him. "......." Nervous as she is to, she brings herself to slowly lift her head back up. "S...Saihara-kun."
"S-Sorry, I was honestly at a loss of words for a moment. A-Ahaha..." He chuckles softly, bashfully scratching his cheek. "I never thought that... you'd feel that way about me. And in all honesty, when I asked you if these were platonic chocolates... I was really hoping you would say no. I-I hope that's not selfish of me. Especially since it…. made me so happy that wasn't the case. Because... if there was anyone I was hoping to get romantic chocolates from... it was from you."
"!" Kaede perks up at that. "R...Really? You were... hoping they wouldn't be platonic ones? And that... you were hoping they would be from me?"
"Yes..." For a moment, he hesitates when suddenly moving his arm, wondering if he should do it… before he dares to bring his hand towards Kaede’s to rest it gently on top of hers. It makes a soft gasp leave her, Shuichi ready to move his hand away if it was being too forward. But seeing she doesn't move her hand away, nor looks uncomfortable... he keeps it there before continuing. "I wouldn't have cared to get them from anyone else but you. Since.. since I..." Even if he knows she feels the same, he still feels his face heat up. Then with a soft exhale, he tells her: "...I feel the same, Akamatsu-san. I-I... like you, too. And for a long while, I have. So... I'm so happy that you return my feelings." He goes to intertwine their fingers just a bit... before giving her the warmest smile she's ever seen on his face.
"Saihara-kun...!" She feels her face turn redder when he intertwines their fingers together. And to hear it back: that Shuichi returns her feelings as well. "I...you...!" Relief washed over Kaede... before an overwhelming amount of happiness started bubbling in her. And before she knew it, Kaede lunged forward to wrap her arms around his neck, pulling him into a hug.
"W-Woah...!" Shuichi yelps out in surprise from the sudden hug, his other having quickly secured a grip on the box of chocolates so that they wouldn't fall off his lap. Once he made sure they were secure on his lap, he gave a soft chuckle and shyly wrapped his arms around her to return the hug, cheeks turning a darker shade of red. "Ahaha.... Akamatsu-san..."
"H-Hehehe... sorry, I'm just... so happy! That the guy I like... likes me back!! I was so nervous... but now I'm so relieved!" She laughs, burying her face in his shoulder for a moment to stifle her giggles. The biggest, brightest smile was on her face. He returned her feelings.... he likes her back... The more she processed this, the happier she felt. She couldn't have felt any happier that she took that risk to make these chocolates for him and confess.
Shuichi gives her a soft squeeze in the hold, closing his eyes and just sighs so happily. She felt so nice to hug... he almost didn't want to let go of her. "I'm so happy, too... probably the happiest I've ever been."
"Me too...!" And for a moment they continue hugging like that, Kaede not wanting to leave his warm embrace anytime soon either... but eventually, they break away, Kaede going to sit back down in her spot. "S-So um! I guess that means we're... dating now, huh?"
"Dating..." Even just muttering it makes him flustered. "Hehe... y-yes, I suppose that does mean that, huh? Homemade chocolates from my...g-girlfriend. Thank you so much again..." For a second, he smiles at her... before deciding to lean in and place the softest kiss to her cheek. "I-I ah: hope that was okay to do..."
"!" Kaede uttered a surprised noise at the peck, making her cheeks heat up again before she giggles and nods her head. "O-Of course! You're my...b-boyfriend, after all! H-Hehe..." Humming in content, Kaede gently leans against Shuichi. She feels a gentle breeze brush through them, closing her eyes for a moment to enjoy it. She felt so content, wanting time to just stop for a moment. The guy she likes, she loves: was now hers... and she is his. "Sh...Shuichi-kun. Can I call you that? Um, I've never really been in a relationship before, so sorry if I'm a bit awkward at this at first, but: I promise... I'll be the best girlfriend I can be for you. One that will make you happy... and always make you feel loved."
"Ah..." His heart soars when she calls him by his first name. And hearing just the amount of sincerity in her tone couldn't help but make him chuckle, finding it so cute: finding her so cute... "You're so sweet.... though you've always been such a caring and loving person who always makes me happy whenever I spend time with you. And... I promise to do the same. R-Relationships are just as new for me, too, but... that just means we’ll be able to experience what one is like, together. I will make sure to be nothing but a great boyfriend to you, too. You deserve to feel just as happy and loved, Akamatsu-san. A-Ah, well.. if you're going to call me 'Shuichi-kun'....th-then: K...Kaede-san..." Even just uttering her first name makes his cheeks red, but felt so nice.
"Mmhm... please call me Kaede..." She hums, nuzzling her cheek against his shoulder as she goes to wrap both her arms around his arm. "...Shuichi-kun...." She opens her eyes back up halfway. Then turning her head to look up at him, she gives him a look just spilling with warmth and love. "...I love you..."
"Kaede-san..." A quiet sigh of awe leaves him when seeing the look she gives. A look that would be reserved just for him. He couldn't feel any luckier... and in turn, he gave her a look and smile just as warm and loving, one hand going to gently cup her cheek. She loves him... it felt so nice to hear. "...I love you, too. I always will."
"Hehe... me too...." She nuzzles her cheek against his hand, sighing so happily. "....Shuichi-kun: ....let's kiss...." Kaede slowly leans her head closer to his. "....If that's okay? I really want to..."
"....Of course." He begins to slowly lean in as well, his thumb gently stroking her cheek. "...I'd love that more than anything."
"I'm glad... Then.... And as their eyes slowly come to a close, shifting slightly so that Shuichi wraps his free arm around Kaede's waist, and Kaede now wraps both her arms around his neck once more... they close the distance in a soft kiss. A soft hum emits from them, loving how nice the other's lips felt. She could taste a hint of the chocolates on his lips as well, which made her muffle a small giggle. Kaede's heart was pounding so hard in her chest, giving his lips several smacks during the kiss. It makes a delighted sigh vibrate through Shuichi, one of his hands proceeding to rub small circles in her back. Her first kiss with her new boyfriend... she wanted to indulge as long as she could before they would have to break away.
And even once they do, their kiss slowly lingers... before Shuichi dares to take the bold initiative this time and draws her right back into a kiss. She happily welcomes it, feeling her heart bounce even more she feels him press his lips firmer against hers, with Kaede doing the same. One of her hands gets tangled in his hair, slowly combing through the smooth black locks. This kiss is longer, deeper... and full of much more love packed into it. When they break away, they softly pant as they stare lovestruck at each other, both of their faces flushed red. "Th-That... felt nice..."
"Yeah... it really did...." She continues stroking his hair, Shuichi nuzzling his head against her hand as he utters a content hum. "Today... couldn't have gone any better. Not only did you enjoy your chocolates, but now you're my boyfriend, too! Hehehe I can't wait to tell Harukawa-san the great news!"
"Hahaha.... and I guess I'll tell Momota-kun as well. I did wonder why he told me 'Good luck' before I left to come meet you here..." He chuckles. "But yes, I truly did, Kaede-san. Ah!" Picking a piece up, he offers her one. "I know you made these for me, but I would love to enjoy them together with you."
She chuckles at that, not surprised Kaito knew exactly why he had been called to come here by her. Then when he offers her one of the pieces, she blinks in surprise. "Oh! Well if you'd like to: sure, thanks!" She takes the piece, and plops half of it into her mouth. And just to tease him... with the other half sticking out of her mouth, she bops her head forward, gesturing him to come closer while muttering: "Mm, mm!"
"Wha-?!" Face blowing up in red, Shuichi starts flailing his hands. "W-W-Wait a minute, th-that's-!! I-I mean I ah, I'm not saying 'no', b-but-"
"Hehehemmph!" The chocolate stifling her laugh, she finishes it completely before she starts laughing even more. "I-I was just teasing you, Shuichi-kun, hahaha! But were you really going to be up for it? Woah... Shuichi-kun is bolder than I thought!"
"Ah... o-ohh, geez! Kaede-san!!" He huffs, blushing even more in embarrassment as he gives her arm the lightest bap... before he starts breaking into laughter, too. "V...Very funny! Hahah...!"
"Heheh...!" She gives him a playful nudge to his arm, before they continue to enjoy more chocolates together. She still couldn't believe how well today went. With Maki's help, the chocolates came out great, Shuichi loved them... and realizing he loved her too when she confessed. Now she felt silly for having doubts, and couldn't feel anymore grateful that she was just worrying over nothing in the end. She already couldn't wait to get back home and play a song that expresses the amount of happiness and love she feels for the boy next to her. And maybe, she thinks to herself: she'll play it for him one day, too.

Maki and her protective best friend celebrate her birthday one-shot: Have Your Cake and Eat it Too
The life of an assassin was a rather lonely one, for Maki Harukawa at least. Nothing but hiding and killing people. That was it for the most part. Often times she’d think back to a certain mission that would change her life, the mission that allowed her to just be a person for a while, the assignment that took her to Hope’s Peak Academy. Initially she was just there for work, but in her time looking into her target’s schedule, she got to get to know people, talk, and laugh with others, get roped into others’ silly plans, just have fun with her class. After taking out her target she was supposed to leave, but she stayed. She kept attending as the Super High School Caregiver, for the first time she ignored an order and made a choice for herself. She stayed and made friends. It was by far the best time in her life. She found herself just wanting to be with them, and she fought for it, and it was all worth it. No matter how she longed to return to those days she could never go back though. The moment they graduated it was all over, she had to slink back into the shadows and return to her true work.
At times, she wondered if things could have turned out different though. It is said that all those who attend Hope’s Peak Academy and managed to graduate were guaranteed a great future. Perhaps there she could have made an even bigger change in her life than allowing herself agency. Perhaps she could have gone even farther, find some way to make lots of money to keep her old orphanage running without the need of assassins. Leave her old life behind and make a new one, one where she could keep better contact with her friends. One where she wouldn’t have to worry about their safety if she stayed close to them. Very few of her old friend could she keep around to some extent, but even then, she had to keep them at a great distance and disappear for years on end from them.
Maki never regretted attending Hope’s Peak and staying, never even crossed her mind to consider it. Leaving hurt, but her memories could never be taken away. She could always keep those precious moment close at hand, times she drew strength from like her time at the orphanage. No matter the amount of blood spilled, the constant moving from place to place, hiding and attacking, the paranoia, she always had those memories.
It was rarer, but at times, her missing these times became too much to bear, there was one place she could return to for a week or less to recapture the carefreeness she could never attain anywhere else. A single apartment tucked away in some city, hidden away from the world. It was the perfect place for those who preferred to hide away from one and all.
As Maki approached the apartment, she heard the distinct sound of laughter and something being knocked over. Maki leaped back, the door suddenly slamming open. “Nishishi! Ah! MAKIROLL!” The purple haired gremlin ducked behind her, clutching something. “Protect me with your scary, evil, assassin, murder, death glair!” Maki shoved Kokichi into the wall behind her, slapping a hand over his mouth. “Do you want to die?” Her grip was not tight though, knowing Kokichi was not stupid enough to so loosely say that, he would only do so now knowing no one could be listening in. Even so, her reaction to hearing that was so instinctive. Kokichi managed to slip out from under her hand. “Yeah! That look exactly! Now! I choose you, Maki! Use scary-evil-assassin-murder-death-glair on Y/N!” She looked to the open door, you out of breath, your smile beaming. “Maki!” She didn’t move accepting you tackling her into a hug. “You’re back! You’re back, you’re back, you’re back!” A bright blush instantly erupted on her cheeks as you squeezed her tightly, nuzzling into her. “Oh~ What’s this? Our stoic assassin has a weakness for hugs?” Kokichi hugged her tightly as well, only making the blush on her cheeks darken to a bright red. “D-do you want to die!?” “Maki get’s hugs.” “Maki get’s hugs!”
If Maki could only keep one person from her high school days, she was so glad it was you, her best friend… even if you usually came with Kokichi of all people.
Eagerly you took Maki’s hands, dragging her into the apartment as Kokichi did the same but instead shoving her in. “Aw, this is the best! I didn’t think we’d have you for your birthday!” “My birthday?” As you dashed away into the kitchen Kokichi hopped up, taking Maki’s coat. “Whaaaaa!? You didn’t know today was your own birthday!?” Those crocodile tears came pouring out as he wailed. “Thaaaaaat’s sooo saaaaaaad!” Those tears however abruptly stopped as Kokichi spotted you. “Oh! Cake!” “Happy birthday Maki!” You presented the white frosted cake to her, giving it a twirl before placing it on the island that separated the living room from the kitchen. Kokichi had already scampered off, gathering plates and forks.
So it was February already? Maki hadn’t even noticed. As she sat at the island, watching as you and Kokichi playfully bickered about who was going to cut the cake, you worrying about Kokichi taking a giant piece for himself or some such, Maki wondered how long it had been since she had seen the pair of you. It had been at least little more than a year, she knew that for sure.
“Ugh! Why do I even live with a brat like you anyway?” “You make almost no money and only I do.” “… Damn it!” “Y’know, the offer to join my secret evil organization is still open! Same goes for you miss, evil scary assassin! We could use someone li-” Kokichi’s offer was cutoff by you slamming a hand on the Island, before Kokichi. “Maki is not evil, nor is she scary you monster. Look at her, she’s the definition of adorable!” Maki immediately turned away, nervously playing with her hair. “Not this again.” A light blush dusted on her cheeks knowing what was happening. “Excuse me!? Yes, this again!” You leaned over the table, gently poking her cheek. “Soft squishable cheeks. Big eyes. Little ears. Pouty smile. Get’s flustered easily. Simply adorable!” It seemed every time she came to see you Kokichi would appear at some point and say something to get you to go off on how great, cute, or amazing she was. She’d almost think Kokichi was doing this on purpose specifically to get you to compliment her so much but to Maki this could not be the case. To Maki, Kokchi was a selfish creature. All he did was for his own entertainment so getting you to compliment Maki and fluster her was for Kokichi’s entertainment, not for Maki, she couldn’t understand the dictator’s behavior in any other way.
As you continued to go on how adorable she was Kokichi cut three giant slices of cake for each of you. It was red velvet. It was delicious. She never said anything about it, but… Maki liked it, knowing that at least you and maybe Kokichi were going to celebrate her birthday, even if she likely wouldn’t have been around to celebrate it too. She remembered how despite it happening every year, every time she was surprised when you and the whole class threw a birthday party for her. And yet again the exact same thing has happened, you and others, well, one other, surprising her by celebrating her birthday.
Before Maki knew it, most of the cake was gone and the three of you were making a fort in the living room. “This is stupid. Why are we even doing this?” “What!? Stupid!? Gurl, we’re making our secret base!” Kokichi skipped away to gather more blankets while you were trying to figure out where to place a chair. “Well, you seem to be enjoying yourself, so I think that’s a good enough reason!” “Maybe I am.” Maki acted as your assistant getting blankets and pillows from your room to add to the fort, all the while Kokichi mostly keeping to his room, occasionally popping out and cause chaos, knocking down a wall only for you and Maki to make the fort even bigger and more sturdy. Soon there was nothing else that could be used, and it was a mighty fort indeed.
You and Maki sat huddle inside. You held Maki’ hand, carefully brushing the first coat of nail polish on her nails while Kokichi kept being unable to decide which color Maki should wear… despite you already brushing a color on. “Say, when was the last time you got your nails painted?” “Last time I visited you.” “Three years ago!?” Ah… so that’s how long it’s been. You looked to your dear friend in disappointment. “Maki! You promised me you’d try to do more things for yourself!” “I came here, didn’t I?” “Well, yeah. But you need to take care of yourself more often, not every couple of years!” “I don’t have many chances to do this. I much rather paint my nails with you than on my own.” “…” You were silent, just thinking for a moment. “Was this really the first opportunity you had in three years?” “… No, this isn’t, but this was the only good chance. My next assignment is not too close, no one is following me, I can actually be here.” “Then what about those other times when you can’t get here. Can’t you do even a little something for yourself then?” “I have to focus on work.” “All work and nothing else… well, you’re unfortunately used to that.” “Yeah.” Kokichi groaned as he placed one of the little bottles down. “Geez Maki-dearest-” “Don’t call me that.” “Your life must suck. Why don’t you make a change! Have some fun!” “Shut up, you don’t know why I have to do this… Why I can’t do anything else.” “… Wow, so depressing. Is this why you’re always sulking?” “I don’t sulk!” “Oh, miss sad assassin, I’d almost pitty you if you weren’t heartless.” Kokichi smirked seeing you had tried to hit him with a rolled up magazine. “Maki has feelings, and she expresses them too! She’s just not as loud and obnoxious as SOME people!” “Aw, Y/N, it’s okay. We already know you’re a cry baby, you don’t have to tell us.” Kokichi immediately sprinted out of the fort, you lunging after him for a tussle. “Don’t bother, he’s just trying to get a ruse out of you.” “Yeah! That just makes beating him with a pillow more fun!” Maki couldn’t help but laugh a little seeing you were just as fiery, looking for any excuse to fight as ever. “So, how has the underground wrestling been treating you?” “I won the world championship!” Your eyes sparked with delight as you went on to explaining how it was one of your toughest matches, both you and your opponent trying your best, not holding anything back, even if it meant playing dirty and using weapons or throwing chairs.
And that was how the rest of the day went, just you and Maki happily chatting as you did whatever Maki liked and not often had the chance to do, like playing with make-up or styling her hair. Small little things that Maki so loved and appreciated that so many others got to do without a second thought. All too soon that fun had come to an end though. You had long gone to sleep and would not awaken for another few hours while Maki was up and restless.
Maki looked around the kitchen, searching through cupboard after cupboard till she found where the plastics were kept. She took out a little container and a fork, placing much more money than the cost of the things on the counter in case these were something more expensive than expected. She then cut a slice of cake, placing it in the container, along with the fork. She then stowed it away in the bag she had discarded upon arrival. Collecting that as well as the coat she had all she brought and left.
Upon exiting the building she looked up, finding the sky pitch black, pure white snow gently drifting down mixing and twirling around her frozen breaths which drifted up into the air, getting carried away by the wind, no control as to it’s destination before dissipating into nothing with the air. She pulled on the ends of her coat, hugging herself making it tighter as to be a better shield from the chilled world which surrounded her. With her every step down the sidewalk her lone footfalls echoed, a soft crunching sound of the snow being crushed under the weight of it all as she moved on. Of all seasons, winter had to be Maki’s least favorite, she couldn’t see why so many others found it to be so fun and great. It was just cold to her, nothing else. She sighed, wondering how long this awful snowfall was going to last, there seemed to be no end in sight.
There was hardly any other soul around, it was the early morning hours after all, just a little past midnight in fact. No one would want to be out in this dreadful cold. It was dark out too, making it hard to see. However that did not mean one could not notice some things like sounds that were almost silences by the snow that seemed to blanket everything, even it however could not cover up that distinctive voice. “Awww, you leaving already Maki-bear?” “Shut up. Stop giving me stupid nicknames. What do you want anyway?” That dreaded ‘Nishishi’ laughter rumbled out of him, the smile clear in it’s tone. “Why do you have to be such a meanie! I just want to say goodbye to my big sister!” “I am NOT your big sister!” A sigh escaped him at that response. “You always do this, sneak away when we’re not looking. Is it that hard for you to say goodbye? Don’t want to relive saying goodbye to everyone at our graduation ceremony?” He hummed away for a moment, then spoke, cutting off any response Maki could have made. “Say now that I think about it… You said goodbye to everyone but Y/N and I. It’s because we’re the only ones you knew you could see without putting into danger right? Because we both also specialize in illegal activities and know how to avoid people like you, right? Right!? I’m right, aren’t I! I knew it!” How his tone could so effortlessly change as if turning on and off a light with a single flip of the switch, that must have been one of the things Maki disliked most about the man, only second to how annoying and childish he relished being. His tone went from something somewhat serious to jubilation.
“You know, you can see them again. You don’t have to keep killing yourself. You can have your cake and eat it too!” “What?” Maki instinctively took a step back, hearing Kokichi was drawing nearer. This was a tone Maki had so rarely heard. It was a tone she could never quite place what it was, it was something like serious, but it was more open, light, earnest… who was she kidding, Kokichi could never be honest and open. His embrace was tight and warm. Even with the layers Maki could feel Kokichi’s heart beating next to her’s. “You know just as well as I do that crime can pay. How do you think I can afford an apartment for Y/N and other places around the world for me and my lackies? Join us. Slaving away at something you don’t even like. That’s just cruel torture. I know you can see it, a chance to break free. You can risk it all for a world where you can live a little, laugh, have fun, see everyone again. You can be family and not just on stand by waiting for SOMETHING! You can make a choice! Come with me, leave your cold dead world behind and come join me in the warmth of others. Let yourself love without any walls. Embrace others unabashedly without worry. Join me in a better life… Please. You can’t keep going like this Maki. We could have days like this every day, and we can protect whoever you want. I know you see it, you don’t need to sacrifice them or yourself anymore. No more aching, no more distance. You can let yourself be warm and close with others.”
Suddenly Kokichi pushed himself away. “But why would you believe a liar like me.” There was that childish tone Maki was all too accustomed too. “Whatever, I’m going to draw on Y/N face with marker, I’ve been getting rusty in my graffiti skills.” Then he skipped away. Maki huffed in annoyance, moving on. The hell was that brat saying. This was Maki’s life, she couldn’t move on to something else…
Sitting on the train Maki watched as she was carried away from the little town, the sun begging to rise, it’s golden glow obscured by the dark clouds. Opening her bag Maki found something unexpected. It was the rest of the cake in a container. There wasn’t much cake left anyway, but… Maki shook her head at the notion, the moment she opened the lid it likely would explode or something, Kokichi would do something like that. Maki did indulge on her slice. Even a little piece was better than nothing, leaving it all behind. It’s hard to quit something once you’ve gotten a taste of it after all.
It was a good thing maki left so soon, she was unexpectedly given new work not even an hour later. She was setting up in her new apartment. It was quiet and empty save a few basic necessities, but nothing else. Maki didn’t need anything else anyway. As she unpacked she cautiously placed the cake on some counter. As she took off her coat something fell out of one of the pockets. On one side was an address, and the other it just said ‘If you want to have your cake and eat it too’ followed by a little doodle of Kokichi’s face. This was all just some elaborate prank, it couldn’t be real in the slightest.
And so she continued to unpack though there was not much.
And she did her work.
And she waited for another assignment.
And she did her work.
And she waited for another assignment.
And she did her work.
And she waited for another assignment.
And she did her work.
And she waited for another assignment.
And she did her work.
And she waited for another assignment.
And she did her work.
And she waited for another assignment.
And she did her work.
And she waited for another assignment.
And she did her work.
And she waited for another assignment.
And she did her work.
And she waited for another assignment.
All that time though she kept the cake, untouched in its box. That was till she found everything just tasted bland. So she tried the cake. It was stale, a little hard, but… it had some taste. And it felt warm.
It couldn’t hurt to at least look into where the address lead too. Who knows, maybe there really would be cake, and it’s be fresh and truly warm.

Remember Your Promise {KaiMaki} (Kaito Momota x Maki Harukawa) [SPOILERS FOR DRV3]
Okay so I got this idea for a fanfic and I wrote the prologue. But I’m not sure if I should post it. So here’s the general idea and prologue:
What if Kaito had pretended to die from his illness during his execution?
What if he, along with Himiko, Maki, and Shuichi was a survivor?
What if he still struggled with his illness even after the events of the 53rd season of Danganronpa?
And what if he still remembered Maki’s confession?
PROLOGUE: REMEMBER YOUR PROMISE
“I’ve never felt this way before! I’ve always fought to kill, but... this is the first time I’ve fought to protect someone! And... I’ve never... been given a nickname like ‘Maki Roll’ before, either. And I’ve never... met someone as stubborn as you before... And... I’ve never... fallen for someone before. That’s why I won’t let you kill Kaito! I absolutely won’t let you!”
Kaito smirked, replaying the words over and over in his head as he finally glanced over the stars surrounding him. He was living his dream right now. If he died, he’d be perfectly content.
But his promise to Maki, he couldn’t break it. As he said to her, he wouldn’t die that easily. He told her not to worry, to run while she could.
He promised her that he would be fine.
But dead wasn’t exactly fine.
It was a slim chance. He was cured of the poison from the antidote, sure, but his lungs filled up with more blood than oxygen after he took the antidote.
Even though the sight of space around him was beautiful, the sight of him was unruly. The lack of oxygen made him a sickly white, almost turning blue. Sweat rolled down his face, drenching his clothes. His jaw was firmly set, in attempts to prevent coughing and vomited more blood from his system, with it spurting out and dribbling down his chin, covering and staining his sweat-soaked clothes.
Kokichi had promised this plan would work. That Monokuma and the mastermind would be fooled, but no. Maki wasn’t safe after all, nobody was. They were all going to die because of him.
He was the hero of the story, after all. A true hero never lost to the villain. He just couldn’t let the mastermind win, not if he had anything to do with it.
A large cough slipped out and blood splattered on the window, obscuring his lovely view of the stars. He wasn’t as bright as them, but suddenly an idea popped in his head.
It wasn’t a guarantee, but if he tried it, he could live. He could fulfill his promise to Maki, and be the hero he was meant to be. Besides, he had lived his dream of going into space. Now, his focus was to save his friends.
He forcefully coughed out the blood, the thick fluid emptying his lungs and pooling on the floor of the small spacecraft.
His lungs welcomed the oxygen inside, but with the strange amount of oxygen intake and blood loss, Kaito flopped over from the wave of dizziness. But through the dizzy haze, he smirked. His plan was gonna work, he was gonna be the hero he was meant to be.
He played dead, he calmed his mind and let his heart rate slow. Even as he felt the rocket plummet, he laid there, calm as a frozen lake in his own blood. When it finally crashed and the door swung open, he let his body tumble out, limp. Even if he was out of the spaceship, he didn’t want Monokuma to put him back in. He couldn’t screw around, he couldn’t quit the act now.
Sounds of rubble falling down and wreckage reached Kaito’s ears. The sound of footsteps running off. Feeling uneasy, he ever so slightly opened his eye. The coast was clear, but the room was about to collapse.
Gathering up his strength, he slipped out of there before he could get squished like Kokichi. Even though he screwed up their plan, he wasn’t going to let the bastard’s sacrifice go to waste.
He sneaked around the camera’s blind spots until he came across an abandoned room, with the camera destroyed, exhausted, he slumped over and decided to camp out there until he got his strength back.
Not long after he decided to rest, he could hear a destructive commotion of lasers outside. Damn... is this the execution Monokuma was talking about when he said he was gonna killed everyone...?
He sat there and thought of Maki and Shuichi, his sidekicks. He thought of Kiibo, Himiko, and Tsumugi. He wouldn’t let them die. He wouldn’t let the mastermind win.
“I kept my promise... Maki Roll...” He said with a pained tone. “Now you and everyone else... have to keep yours...”
END OF PROLOGUE
So should I continue it, post it up on Wattpad or something? Let me know what you think!

Demon Slayer: Another Story
Chapter 3
Kazumi begins walking down the gravelled path and sighed dejectedly.
"This sucks...I hate this... Pops.. I miss you... I don't know what I'm gonna do without you.." Kazumi whimpered weakly.
Kazumi had been walking for almost aimlessly for an entire day and it was starting to get to him, physically and mentally. Despite that he kept going and just when he was about to give up on walking he spotted a small cottage in the distance. It was kind of run down but it was most definitely what his grandfather was talking about. Upon seeing it Kazumi got a sudden boost of energy and sprinted towards it. Cautiously, Kazumi came to a stop and slowly entered the the cabin and what he found inside was not what he expected..A little table and a neatly folded futon in the corner of the room. All in all, surprisingly well kept.
Despite still not being 100% certain if this was in fact what his grandfather was referring to he began to look around. As he investigated, he noticed there was a piece of paper on top of the table, and...it has his name on it in cursive writing. It was most definitely the writing of his recently deceased grandfather. After a brief moment of shock, Kazumi carefully picked up the letter and scanned through the letter, it read:
Dear Kazumi,
My dear boy, If you have found this letter...then I can only assume the worst has happened. There is so much to tell you but so little time... First of all, and most importantly I want to tell you about your Father..
Upon reading those words Kazumi mummered "My father?... What..?" Kazumi was only an infant when his father died so he only had vague memories of him. Having him brought up like this understandingly caused Kazumi some confusion and concern. Kazumi turned his eyes back to the letter:
You see... Your Father was in fact, a demon slayer. An impressive one at that.. Unfortunately he ended up dying the same way many do...falling victim to a demon during one of his missions...I am so sorry for keeping this from you for so long.. It is one of two things your Father asked of me. As for the next thing I am about to tell you, it is completely up to you if you choose this path...
But your Father...actually wished for you to also become a demon slayer yourself. You see..I know someone who can help train you as a swordsman if that is what you wish to do. If you keep heading North/East from this cabin you will find the swordsman trainer in question, his name is Kotaro Shinguji.
Kazumi...I don't expect you to forgive me for hiding such a fact about your Father and I know you must have many questions...But...In time, you will come to understand why I was told to keep these things from you.
- Pops
After reading the letter, all Kazumi could do was mutter:
"What?...A demon slayer?...Swordsman training..?"
It was a lot of information to take in, and to top it all off Kazumi was exhausted, he could barely process the contents of the letter. But one thing was clear to him... He wanted to honour not only his grandfathers, but his father's final wishes. In that moment, Kazumi had made up his mind to train to become a demon slayer.
Kazumi turned to the small window and noticed how dark it was outside.
"I..should probably..sleep..." Kazumi couldn't even finish that thought as his head hit the folded up futon.
The next morning
Kazumi awoke and for a split second he had forgotten the events that took place two days before. As he sat up he noticed that he was still clutching the letter that was left for him in his hand. He softly smiled and placed the letter carefully in the folds of his yukata near.
"Right! *Kazumi proceeds to slap both of his cheeks to snap out of the daze* "Ow- Okay...Let's just go find that trainer, whoever he is-" Kazumi muttered frustrated.
Still somewhat drowsy, Kazumi slides open the door and begins to walk outside. However...he felt his foot catch on something that clearly wasn't there when he had originally entered the cabin.
"What now!?" Kazumi said angrily. When he looked down to see what his foot was caught on, he saw that it was caught on some kind of wire that was on the ground and spread across the whole door.
Before Kazumi could even react he felt a sharp pain in his neck and he immediately was overcome by fatigue. Which caused him to go limp and his vision blurred. It was like his mind was being filled with fog. As Kazumi started to lose consciousness he closed his eyes:
"Why is it always one thing..after another..." He thought dejectedly.
When Kazumi next came to, he was greeted with an unfamiliar ceiling. He then sat up and looked around hastily. It definitely wasn't a place he had been to before. Just as Kazumi started to collect his thoughts, a friendly voice rang out throughout the room.
"So you're awake now? That's good."
Kazumi turned around the face the voice. To see that it belonged to a middle-aged man with an apologetic look on his face.
"I apologise for the way we brought you here, I didn't have much of a choice.." The man explained.
"You didn't have any choice but to knock me out?" Kazumi asked bluntly with a blank expression. In response the man chuckled awkwardly.
"*clears throat* L-Let's get introductions out of the way shall we? My name's Kotaro Shinguji, I'm actually an old friend of your grandfather. He asked me to take care of you if anything ever happened to him...Didn't think I'd have to keep it so soon..." Shinguji looked down sorrowfully.
He continued:
"I got a letter from him a couple of months back discussing it, if you still feel skeptical you are more than welcome to read it. *He hands the letter to Kazumi* I heard the news about what happened to him via letter from Kana... He was a good man, your grandfather, real feisty too."
"Kana? Does he mean the woman who saved me yesterday..?" Kazumi thought to himself.
"*Looking up at Shinguji with teary eyes* He really was..." Kazumi chuckled weakly.
"Oh! I'm K-Kazumi Harukawa...I actually came here to find you, I uh...was w-wondering if you could train me to become a demon slayer..." Kazumi stammered not knowing how to word it
"*Bows deeply* Please train me to be a swordsman!" Kazumi shouted a little too bluntly.
"*laughs* I had every intention of doing so, raise your head. There's no need for that" Shinguji replied smiling softly. "Tomorrow! I'll get you up bright and early. Be ready!"
"Y-yes sir!" Kazumi said with an enthusiastic smile.
And so, Kazumi finally begins his training to be a demon slayer! Stay tuned for next week's chapter! eVeRy MoNdAy! I'm so sorry for not uploading for a couple of days..my heart just hasn't been in drawing. But don't worry, I'll be back to posting my drawings again soon... Eventually

Afterglow
ao3 link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/22343230
The stars are almost hard to see, but Momota refuses to let them disappear from his sight, even if visions of his death voyage to space spark in his mind every now and then. And despite the fact he knows half the stars are long gone, only their after-images remaining, he doesn’t want to let them go.
Dark purple adorn the skin beneath his eyes, focused on the dots of light painted across the night sky. The moon’s halo of light shines, and all Momota can really think about is the events that lead up to that moment; the path he followed to finally grasp freedom from those sickening walls of white and continue tightening his hold on it, fearful that if he softened for even a moment, it would be pried from his hands again.
It’s been a week since he and Ouma were released from Team Danganronpa’s clutches, finally able to stare at more than just cars and commute out the window and hear more than just the same nurse’s voice or all the commotion that comes with being in a hospital in the city surrounded by streets and cars at night.
He remembers the first night he was released being so exhilarating he could scream out anything that popped into his head and not care even a sliver. Yell and shout and run until his whole body was sore, until his lungs were burning, until he couldn’t move a single inch anymore. To taste something, anything, other than terrible hospital food hammered it into his gut that he wasn’t blocked in by the walls of the little room he loathed no matter how many times he stayed there.
He’s not a fictional character pieced together carefully to follow a narrative created to please an audience; he’s real. No one is watching him, and he’s not just a character to use for publicity or to take from until he’s empty and hollow so that Team Danganronpa can boast about how “good” their stupid 53rd season was. All he could feel was deceit when he constantly checked the channels on TV, wondering, waiting, to see if anything changed. And he despised it.
He despised how many people enjoyed watching their own suffering, unable to shut their damn mouths about how it should’ve gone or how much they loved the trials, and Momota is sure that the title he used to do proudly exclaim to everyone he met would die with the rest of the parts of him that had already croaked.
He isn’t sure he wants them to come back.
He didn’t expect to spend New Year’s Eve reminiscing on the one thing that threw his whole entire life out of its original orbit, a tiny part of himself loathing how terribly he’s still shaken by everything.
“And Momota-chan told me to go to bed.”
Momota almost flinches and whirls around to see Ouma standing there, voice accusatory as his gaze pierces right through him. He’s silent, words lodged in his throat.
“Stargazing,” is what he finally settles on.
“Momota-chan is always stargazing,” he says, stepping forward and standing beside him, head tilting upward to stare up at the same dark abyss Momota had begun losing himself in and drowned out the rest of the world.
Momota exhales heavily, allowing himself to drift again once his eyes settle on the sky, trying to distract himself with figuring out which stars were only projections of light, after years and years destined to fade out and disappear from the world forever. In some odd way, he finds himself comparing it to all the Ultimate Astronaut was. A title seemingly normal, just like all the others, only to realize it hadn’t ever been alive for an eternity’s worth while. Simply a projection of light, of an identity, and nothing more.
And yet, as much as he wants to believe it, he doesn’t want to get to know the feeling of being unknown to even himself. To not know what kind of star he is and which path he is set to follow, never even knowing what stage in his life he’s currently experiencing.
“I’m just—“ Momota swallows hard, leaning against the railing— “—thinking.”
“All Momota-chan does is think. He thinks and thinks and thinks, and then he keeps it all to himself, all too happy with everyone else forgetting about it and returning back to the norm of relying on him,” Ouma tells him, eyeing him from the side, not allowing him to squirm out of talking, and Momota knows he’s right.
He fumbles with his mind, his words, his entire being, everything he first concluded he knew about himself tossed into a pit of uncertainty as his eyes fall in and out of focus, searching for something to escape the eyes staring right at him, waiting to catch even a small glimpse of what he’s trying so hard to shield from not only him, but the rest of the world.
He didn’t mind letting Saihara and Harukawa forget about the mishaps and accidental flashes of weakness, in fact all too excited to let it slip through the seems and keep it hidden, acting as if nothing happened. “I’m fine” and “don’t worry about me” was enough for them, and it was enough for him.
But he knows Ouma is different, and he’s not planning to let him off the hook and let all the slivers of weakness and tiny lies sneak by without repercussions.
“I don’t—“ Momota swallows, hard— “—I don’t know who the hell I am anymore. I thought— I thought leaving the hospital would help, but it’s left me as fucking lost as when I was there. And I can’t stop thinking about what I’m supposed to do from here, what I’m supposed to think about all of this shit.”
It was easier to revert back to the Ultimate Astronaut, the title he always had and thought he’d known, but at the same time, he’s not sure he wants all the things that come with it. All the guilt, the weight, the constant need to climb the ever growing pillars that never stop getting taller and taller, the stress of his grandparents needing him to be the perfect boy that travelled to space one day and made them proud.
“I— and I fucking killed you, Ouma,” he chokes out, hands shaking, remorse twisting his stomach. “Even if we’ve said sorry and shit, I can’t stop thinking about it. It sticks in my brain and never leaves. I—“ he tries to spit it out— “—have nightmares about it.” His last words come out quiet and fragile, never spoken to anyone but himself in his mind, only ever kept locked up and sealed away because no one ever asked and he never told them, not used to being so terribly open he feels like cringing from his words; it leaves a sour taste in his mouth, leaving him wishing he’d never said anything at all.
“Momota-chan is so impatient,” Ouma tells him, turning towards him and approaching him. “He thinks he has to figure these big decisions out by himself in seconds, refusing help from anyone, but it only sends him in circles.”
Momota is silent, eyes averting to stare at anything but Ouma’s face, even though he knows what he’s saying is right, but when he does meet those lilac irises, they’ve been waiting for him to look ever since they laid eyes on him. They look like stained glass, shining as they stare at him.
“I— I know.” Momota resists the urge to look away, to try and deflect, even if it bubbles in his throat the wrong way and feels so unknown he doesn’t know what to do.
Ouma continues stepping towards him until his frail arms wrap around him, pulling him into an embrace that Momota didn’t realize he needed until his arms were around him.
“The nightmares,” Ouma mumbles, gently gripping the back of Momota’s shirt with a knowing tone laced into his voice that gently presents itself. “We’ll figure out. Together.”
Momota’s arms, almost out of instinct, hug Ouma closer, eyes glassy. “Yeah,” he chokes out, tears pricking the lids of his eyes, fingers gently stroking his hair. “We’ll— we’ll figure it out. Together.”
The tears that roll down his cheeks turn icy from the air, almost as if they could freeze in place as soon as they escaped his eyes, but Ouma gazes up at him and cups his cheek, gently wiping them away with his thumb.
Momota’s grandparents always told him he was meant to be a star, meant to go to space and become the brightest star in the sky they always knew he could be.
Looking at Ouma’s eyes, how they shine in the moonlight, caring and lovingness embedded in his irises, with soft hands clutching on to him and refusing to let go, he isn’t sure he’s the brightest star out there in the vastness of the universe, among the millions and millions of balls of light glimmering in the night.

Can you please do some headcanons with the V3 cast with the THH cast’s talents?
Looks like you made the decisions for me lol
Tsumugi Shirogane (Lucky Student):
Tsumugi didn’t really think that her luck was a talent, but she was still excited to go to Hope’s Peak.
Her luck cycle isn’t too extreme, and is more convenient than anything.
That doesn’t stop her from trying to be careful that her bad luck doesn’t affect anyone else.
Rantaro Amami (Detective):
Rantaro first started with a few robbery cases, but soon became intrigued by homicide cases.
He’s very observant, but doesn’t always let on that he’s like that.
He’s also efficient and organized, which helps him solve cases faster, which is often the best course of action.
Kirumi Tojo (Affluent Progeny):
Kirumi was raised from a young age to inherit her family name by being the best.
She’s incredibly smart, but doesn’t brag about her intelligence to her classmates.
She is, however, a leader type, and will sometimes take control of a situation if they could be doing something better than they already are.
Kaito Momota (Baseball Star):
Kaito’s always loved baseball, so it was only natural that this would be his talent.
He’s very dedicated, and goes to every single practice, and sometimes will even practice in the rain.
He’s very much a team player, always making sure that his classmates have their moment to shine.
Angie Yonaga (Clairvoyant):
On Angie’s island, she was treated as a kind of oracle, since she could occasionally predict the future.
She has about a forty percent accuracy on her predictions, and the most correct ones come at the least expected times.
She tries hard to be cheerful so the others are comfortable with her, but sometimes she comes off as a bit ominous.
Kiibo (Pop Sensation):
From a young age, Kiibo worked hard to fulfill his dream of being a pop idol.
His favorite part, even though he loves it all, is making his fans and friends smile when he performs.
The members of his group are some of his very best friends, and he can’t imagine performing without them.
Maki Harukawa (Soldier):
Maki never had much of a choice about her life, but her talent was the one choice she did make.
Through years of being a soldier, she’s gotten the bare minimum of injuries, especially compared to the rest of her group.
She’s one of the best, but she also wants to be a normal teenager at Hope’s Peak.
Kokichi Ouma (Fashionista):
Fashion was something that Kokichi was always skilled with, and he loves showing off his personal style.
Even when he loves a certain look, he always puts his own spin on it by altering it himself.
Sometimes he gives advice when nobody asks for it, but the person usually forgives him after a while.
Himiko Yumeno (Literary Prodigy):
Himiko always loved reading, and decided to start her own book series so she could create her own world.
She always has a journal with her, usually one with a cover made from some soft material.
Sometimes she’ll stay up really late to finish writing a chapter, which is why she’s usually exhausted.
Shuichi Saihara (Fanfic Creator):
Shuichi is kind of quirky, and makes a lot of references to source material that not a lot of his classmates know about.
He has a big online following for his fanfics and fan comics, all of which are rated low enough for anyone to read if they wanted.
He’s really earnest, and loves seeing people happy in his reviews. It really makes it all worth it.
Miu Iruma (Biker Gang Leader):
Miu loves the rush of riding a motorcycle, and her gang is comprised of some of the best people in her life.
If anyone messes with her gang, they’re going to pay for sure; they’re her family, and she won’t let anyone mess with them.
Loves the classic fingerless leather gloves and leather jacket look.
Gonta Gokuhara (Martial Artist):
Gonta started learning martial arts at a young age, and knows a good amount of many different ones.
However, he only ever practices for the skill. He would never dream of using them against another person unless it’s for self defense.
He’s incredibly strong, but he’s a really sweet person, and is willing to teach others for self defense as well.
Tenko Chabashira (Moral Compass):
Tenko has always abided by the rules, and doesn’t like the thought of not following them.
Part of it is for control, but she literally can’t watch someone break the rules without doing something about it.
Her heart is in the right place; she just wants everyone to be safe, and the easiest way to do that is by following the rules.
Ryoma Hoshi (Swimming Pro):
Swimming was always a bit of a safe haven for him, somewhere he could go to think and get away from the world.
He’s so incredibly fast that his friends and family always say that he’s ready for the Olympics.
He’s competitive when it comes to swimming, but he’ll do friendly races against his friends, too.
Kaede Akamatsu (Programmer):
Programming started off as something fun to do, but Kaede soon found that she had a talent for it.
She’s programmed a few apps before, some of which are released, and has a little helper app on her phone.
She sometimes makes references to binary code or other programming things while talking before remembering that she’s the only one who knows what the heck she’s talking about.
Korekiyo Shinguji (Gambler):
Kiyo is extremely talented at card games first and foremost, and is fine with making bets on his skills.
He never makes a bet he can’t handle, though, which is very important.
He is so skilled at gambling that he has never once had a debt to anyone, and he plans to keep it that way.

V3 Girls Finding Their S/O Dead
“Can you do a version with V3 girls reacting their s/o being killed in a killing game, but their s/o’s killer is one of their closest friends?”
I love this trope! Oooh and finally writing for the girls, I love it!! Story under the tag! WARNING: Mastermind Spoilers, Cussing!
Kaede Akamatsu
When this killing game first started, Kaede thought she would be lost completely
But when she met you and Shuichi, that completely changed
You guys were the trio of mystery solvers, having solved the first three trials with complete accuracy
And when you two got together, it somehow only brought you guys closer
But that seemed to and, despite everything you guys had gone through.
Your girlfriend had come to get you for dinner when she noticed your door unlocked, the shower running
She walked in, closing the door behind herself
“Y/n? Are you almost done? Dinner’s been waiting, it’s your favorite!”
She knocked on the bathroom door, jumping slightly when it pushed open
Kaede peeked in, gasping in horror
Her girlfriend, Y/n, laid on the bathroom floor, blood lining the sink and pooling at her head
Kaede stumbled back, and before she knew it, she passed out
When she woke up, she was in her own room, Shuichi sitting next to her
“Oh, good! You’re awake! Everyone was starting to worry about you”
Kaede sat up, trying to remember what happened. “What happened? All I remember is going to get Y/n and-”
Kaede gasped, standing up “Y/n! Let me go see her-”
Shuichi grabbed her arm, pulling her back on to the bed “Kaede, I’m sorry for what happened, I really am, but I don’t think you can handle it. How about you let me investigate this time?”
Kaede shrugged from his grasp, heading for the door. “No, I have to do this. She was my girlfriend, I want to know what happened.”
Kaede returned to your room, forcing herself to breathe and look at the crime scene. She spent especially long scoping for each clue, wanting to make sure she got every detail.
When it came for the trial, Shuichi apologized one last time before heading into the elevator
They began the trial, and no one had ever seen Kaede this determined, not even when they tried to escape through the underground passage.
As she continued the trial, she noticed that Shuichi had been more quiet than usual, but it was probably just because of one third of their group were no longer here, right?
But when she noticed holes in his story, she started to question him
“Shuichi...did you do it?”
When he didn’t answer, she asked again, watching as he looked away from her
She could feel the tears in her eyes, begging Shuichi to tell her it wasn’t him
When he continued to be silent, she began crying, resting her head on her podium
They all voted, her voting for herself
When Monokuma confirmed her best friend as her girlfriends blackened, she felt empty
She lost the two most important people of her life, all in one day, to each other
Shuichi said one last apology as he was led off, never once looking in her eyes
She refused to watch the execution, leaving as soon as it ended
She went to Y/n’s room and laid on her bed, staring at the wall
Why did it all have to end like this?
Kirumi Tojo
Kirumi ever only really opened up to Y/n
Kirumi learned to act sophisticated and patient with everyone, including her S/O
But when it was just them, Kirumi would loosen up a bit more, caring to make silly small talk or be lazy with her girlfriend.
Soon, Y/n started helping her open up to more people,
making her friends she never really knew she wanted to make
Sadly, she never got to thank Y/n for that
She had made lunch for her and Y/n, as she did everyday, but Y/n didn’t show up when she expected
Deciding to go find Y/n, she went to her room, confused when she garnered no response
Kirumi went to her girlfriend’s ultimate lab, opening it without knocking, knowing if Y/n was in here, she wouldn’t mind her girlfriend coming in unannounced. “Y/n, lunch is ready. Are you busy with a project, because I can bring it he-”
Kirumi stopped speaking, replacing her words with a scream
Y/n, the ultimate Y/T, was propped up on a chair, rope burn around her now red and bleeding neck
Kirumi looked at her half-lidded eyes, dull and unfocused
Everyone rushed in, horrified at the sight before them. But nonetheless, they had to investigate the murder scene before them
Kirumi tried to throw off the shock that now covered her by doing what people requested her to do. When the investigation ended, with little clues on her end, they walked to the trial grounds
When the trial began, Kirumi helped out as much as she could, giving her insight wherever she felt it was needed
She was glad to be cleared of being a suspect almost immediately, having their now wasted lunch as proof of her day’s events
She always caught herself glancing at your space on the trial grounds, the red X over your face making your amazing smile causing her heart to ache
Before she knew it, they had narrowed it down to three people.
Korekiyo, Ryoma, and Kaede
They began going over potential motives when Kirumi remembered something that had made her suspicious
“Kaede...you and Y/n have been rather distant lately, can you explain that?” Kaede began to give a response, which was quickly shut down by Maki proving that it contradicted her alibi
Kaede turned red, looking at Kirumi with scared eyes.
“Kirumi, I am so sorry-”
“You don’t need to apologize to me, you need to apologize to everyone here who’s been affected by your actions. Including Y/n.”
Kaede’s eyes darted around the room, muttering a small sorry. When the voting ended, Shuichi and Kaede shared a tearful goodbye, before they all watched her be executed at the hands of their captor. Kirumi gave a calm excuse and left the group, going to her own room
After this incident, everyone noticed that she had become as reclusive as she was before she came here
Before she met Y/n
Himiko Yumeno
You had met Himiko formally when you showed interest in a magic trick she did. She was happy to have people be interested in her talent, quickly making friends with the people around her
You two grew very close, very fast. Soon enough, you guys had confessed your romantic feelings
She really just threw a letter and a plastic ring under your door but
You two had been hanging out in the AV room, matching documentaries on the possibility of magic. You had excused yourself to go get more drinks, as all the soda and water you had brought had run out
When you didn’t return for a while, she went up to go find you. She went to the kitchen, but found it empty, and strangely cold
She saw the fridge open, and moved to close it. When she pushed the door shut, it popped back slightly, something keeping it from closing. She looked down, shocked to see a hand and wrist poking out of the small crack in the door
She immediately felt tears in her eyes from shock and fear, noticing the small plastic ring that resided on the hand’s ring finger
She ran to the dorms, banging on the closest one, Shuichi’s. She pulled him towards the crime, gathering others along the way back
When they got there, a few of them screamed, the others giving out gasps. Himiko began to sob, holding her face in her hands
Gonta picked her up, holding her in his arms as the others investigated
When the trial started she had calmed down, leveling down to hiccups. She stayed like that the whole trial, occasionally begging Y/n’s murderer to come out.
Whoever had committed this crime definitely felt guilty. So when it came to light that Tenko Chabashira, one of their best friends had done it, Himiko didn’t know how to feel
Tenko started yelling, promising that it was an accident
Himiko stood, shaking, eyes watering at what she was hearing. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, waiting for voting time
When it came, she was forced to vote her best friend as the one who killed her girlfriend
Tenko ran up to her, apologizing profusely. Himiko gave her a silent hug, crying into her chest.
Finally, it was execution time. She watched as her best friend was dragged away, closing her eyes when the execution started
When it was over, she ran to her room, flopping onto her bed and sobbing into her pillow
In less than a day, she lost the two most important people in her life.
Maki Harukawa
When they first started their lives trapped in this school, Maki didn’t count on making any friends
She definitely didn’t expect to fall for you, the kindhearted Y/n she literally ran into in the hallway, who started crying out of fear for upsetting the newfound Ultimate Assassin
She helped reassure you that she wasn’t upset, and soon you guys started becoming close
It had always been the four of you, Maki, Shuichi, Kaito, and yourself
But you had always sensed one of them wasn’t fond of you
The four of you had been planning to train that night, like you always do. When you didn’t show up on time, Kaito suggested that you probably just weren’t feeling good, which only worried her more.
She didn’t show it though, and insisted she was going to just bring you out here, since none of you should be skipping training.
When she got to your room it was unlocked, but not unusual since she’d come to your room when she had a nightmare about her past.
She walked in, seeing you curled under the blankets. She walked over and put a hand on your covered body, retracting when she made contact with the damp blanket
She ripped the blanket off, eyes widening when she noticed the blood that strained your head and bed, turning it a now dark brown
She started yelling your name, turning you over and shaking you, puking when the smell hit her
Her screaming attracted her friends who were training and those who were still awake, all of them rushing to your room, giving panicked tones when they saw the scene playing out
Maki refused to let anyone pull her away from your side throughout the investigation, stroking your matted hair and whispering s apologies for not being there for you
When the trial started, everyone was silent, not daring to say anything to offend Maki. If looks could kill, everyone would be dead, and this killing game would be over.
This was the most she ever spoke in a trial, shutting down almost every contradiction to Shuichi’s words
She listened carefully to everyone’s words, but still didn’t expect it when Shuichi named Kaito the blackened
She listened to the whole story, how Kaito loved her and got into an argument with Y/n that got out of hand. Maki didn’t understand, how could she not have noticed? She was trained to read body language and things, did she let her guard down?
She refused to listen to Kaito as he tried to explain, punching him when he tried to get close
She looked away from him, pretending to in anger, when really she didn’t want him to see the tears streaming down her face.
She watched as the execution was performed, tears drying on her cheeks
She left before anyone noticed, all of them too busy in the rush of Kaito dying before Monokuma could truly execute him.
She went to her room, locking the door. She laid on her bed and hugged a pillow, trying to pretend it was you she was holding, like every night.
She felt empty
She felt empty without you in her arms, Kaito by her side, and the happiness she once secretly held when you all trained.
Tenko Chabashira
Let’s admit, Tenko is really gay
When she first met you, she fell for you hard and FAST
You were perfect for her, and you two hit it off instantly
She was living the dream. Well, as much of a dream as you can have trapped in a killing game
But she had you, and that’s all that mattered.
So when she found you face down in the pool, she didn’t know what to do
She felt...numb without you. She never really considered you dying a possibility, until now.
She tried to help investigate, but every time she looked at you she burst into tears, wailing and clutching Himiko
She did this until it was trial time, the only sounds in the elevator were the whir of the gears and her sniffling
When the trial started, she threatened everyone with a beating if they didn’t reveal the blackened, which to no ones surprise, didn’t work.
She gave a lot of input during the trial, stopping anyone when they said anything about her Y/n that could be taken as an insult
Tenko knew a lot of her words were useless, but she wanted to help any way she can
She almost praised the gods above when some off hand remark she made was able to help find the culprit
But when she found out it was one of her best friends, Angie Yonaga, she didn’t understand. Why would Angie hurt Y/n? Why would anyone?!
So when Angie simply explained that Atua told her to because Y/n was impure, Tenko almost became the next blackened
She jumped at the artist, having to be held back by Gonta to make sure she didn’t pummel her ex friend
She watched as Angie complied with Monokuma and walked to her own execution, soon regretting it when the despairing event started
She slept with Himiko that night, not knowing how she would ever get over you.
The third trial wouldn’t be this bad, right?
Tsumugi Shirogane
Tsumugi knew when she made your personality that it was more of a small treat for her, creating someone she knew she could be good friends with
But when she actually met you for the first time after the game started, she realized how much of an effect you had on her, drawing you two together instantly
She knew she shouldn’t let this affect her, but what better way to blend in than to have a close friend?
So when you guys became more than friends, she was ecstatic
You two would cosplay together, and in return she would help you with your talent’s needs
She loved you with all of her heart, even though she knew this fantasy would end eventually
But she didn’t expect it to end so soon, and didn’t expect it to end with her finding you dead in her dorm, clothing scattered and buttons laid over your closed eyes
She screamed, out of anger and horror
How come you died, in the first trial no less? Who did this?
Everyone gathered in her room, looking at the body
Tsumugi played the part of the mourning friend well
She watched as everyone investigated, shrugging off anyone who tried to ask if she was alright.
When the trial started, she started crying, knowing this killing game would be a lot more dull without you
She already missed you, you were the only one she really considered a friend.
Tsumugi tried to help out, knowing who probably did it had a bigger motive than it seems
So when it came out that Rantaro Amami did it, she knew what was truly happening
“I thought Y/n was the mastermind, with how close she had gotten to everyone to easily. Seems I was wrong, and all I did was take a good friend away.”
Tsumugi cried, listening to Amami’s explanation
But when it came to the execution, she made sure to stand in the back, stone faced as it played out. When it ended, she left with everyone else, head hung low.
She returned to her room, and when she deemed it late enough, she went to her secret room, laying on the couch inside of it
She knew it was a mistake to grow attached to one of her creations, but she couldn’t help it
She knew she loved you, and that’s all that mattered to her.
Angie Yonaga
Angie knew she needed to know you the second you introduced yourself
Atua said so! And so did the fluttering in her stomach when you laughed at one of her jokes
You two connected instantly, you being supporting of her art and her to your talent
You spent every day together, and to her it made the whole killing game seem worth it. For a while, at least.
Angie knew you two needed some alone time, so when you asked her if you could spend the day alone in your own lab, researching something for your talent, she was more than willing to oblige.
But as the day went on, she could feel Atua telling her to check on you
‘There’s nothing wrong with just bringing Y/n a snack, right? Just a little check up!’
She had Kirumi prepare your favorite snack, and strolled to your lab, humming.
She knocked on the door
“Y/n, it’s me! I brought you a snack, Atua said you might be a bit hungry from working so hard!”
When she didn’t get a reply, Angie twisted the doorknob, swinging the door open in one swing
She began to call out you name when she saw you, sitting in your work chair, leaned over the now bloody table.
Angie fainted when she saw the sight, and when she woke up, everyone was already there, Tenko comforting her
She sat out for the investigation, only wanting to be by you the entire time
So when the trial started, she had to pull herself away from your body, sulking to the trial grounds
She tried her best to find the culprit, calling out multiple people under the saying that Atua said it was them
When each try failed, Angie’s heart sunk more, wishing you were still next to her during the trials
Oh, how easier the first trial as with you by her side.
She listened to everyone argue, struggling to keep a smile on
So when it came out who the culprit was, Angie let it fall
“Himiko, how come? Y/n was blessed! Utterly divine!”
Himiko stood silent before bursting into hiccuping sobs
She gave an explanation but Angie heard very little of it
Atua was saying Himiko deserved the punishment, and she couldn’t help but agree
She watched as Himiko was executed painfully, her face blank
When it was over, she stayed until Tenko led her out and to her dorm, where Angie immediately left to her lab
She wanted to draw, paint, anything
But she couldn’t find motivation, something to draw besides you
After all, she just lost her muse
Miu Iruma
No one can deny that Miu comes off extremely intense, throwing shade at practically anyone that tries to correct her, even if she’s obviously wrong
So when you scolded her for being so rude, Miu didn’t understand the feelings she felt
She never noticed you at first, but this brought you into a whole new light
Miu suddenly saw all of you, your absolute beauty, your charm, the fact that she might’ve found you smoking hot
She started being more shy towards you, which only led you to being with her more, trying to get her out of her shell
She was ecstatic when you loved every invention she made, it gave Miu the motivation to create new things, some small gifts for you
You also loved every minute with her, practically jumping for joy when she nervously asked you on a date, which consisted of a small picnic and sleeping in the sun
But when she found you, laying dead in the same spot you had your first date in, she didn’t know what to do
Panic set in, Miu cussing out anyone that tried to talk to her, sobbing when they brought up your death
Her heart nearly gave out when it was concluded that you had been poisoned and brought here during the night
She helped investigate, drawing out maps with each possible suspect inked down, trying to figure out who had the position and motive to murder her girlfriend
When the trial started, she made crude comebacks to everyone’s input, only dying down when she realized she wasn’t helping
Miu listened carefully, only adding her words when she needed to refute suspicions or fill in where people were at the time
When her work payed off and she noticed a flaw in someone’s alibi, she let out a stream of scrambled curse words, throwing down her maps
“Motherfucker! Tsumugi, what the fuck?!”
Everyone gave Miu a confused look, and she laid out all of the evidence.
In return, Tsumugi only gave a half-hearted smile and a small speech on hope
Miu was pissed, to say the least. Tsumugi killed her girlfriend, and gave no motive?!
It took multiple people to keep Miu from pushing her down and kicking her head in.
Miu began sobbing, watching the execution and immediately going to her lab
She sat under the florescent lights for hours
Having thrown a fit, her lab was more of a mess than it had every been.
Exhausted, Miu collapsed in her work chair, looking at the last thing she had been working on.
A promise ring, made with your favorite gemstone
A promise she didn’t even get to make.

Trapped!Saiibo Q&A!
I wanna do a Q&A chapter with our two little lovers (and myself-).
I started this fanfiction a long long time ago and updates have been few and far between since this was like a side passion for me. But the amount of encouragement and feedback I kept getting from Saiibo fans alike made me really happy!
And really guilty. It takes a lot of time for me to set aside so I can write this fanfiction. I have a lot and I mean a LOT of things to do irl so I'm often resting in my time off.
So I got to thinking?
"What could I do that's interactive with the readers, to make sure they know I do care despite my hiatuses, and have something nice and fun before the last chapter?"
At first, my mind went to an art contest and the winner would pick the topic for an extra chapter (whether fluffy or angsty).
But then I felt conceited because I'm asking for art and that would pressure me into writing another,,, chapter,,
So then a Q&A popped in my head!
If you dwell in the world of WEBTOON/Tapas, like me, then you often run across Q&A chapters! (Or Questioning and Answering.)
They're always so fun for me to read and take part in, seeing how the actual characters would interact with reader's questions.
So I decided to do just that!
*announcer voice*
Ahem.
~~> Introducing the Trapped!Saiibo Q&A! <~~
Characters you may ask a question to are:
Shuichi Saihara - A lonely detective forced into a killing game where his friends are all put against each other. But it seems not everything is face value with this boy oh no. And especially in the Trapped series! I mean, come on, poor boy had to get his entire blood replaced!
Kiibo/K1-b0 - A robot built by a guy I don't really care to remember I'm just happy he exists! He serves as the eyes of others and the hands of friendship as he himself tries to prove everyday he's alive. Our boy here in this series begins to understand what love is, and what defines a heart.
Kokichi Ouma - A liar liar pants on fire. A gremlin who'll send the world tumbling! He often blinds his emotions from other people by mixing them up with lies. But often, the truth is buried so deep under those lies that he himself has lost sight of them.
He truly is the boy who called,
"It's a lie!"
Trapped in his mind, whatever will we find?
Maki Harukawa - A loving child caretaker that- Wait What? She's an assassin. Well she, though she doesn't quite display, has a soft heart nonetheless. Her affiliations and her... ahem... "curiosity" Of Kaito helped assist our lovely love birds together.
But it seems as if she is trapped in her own way? Who knows.
And uh.
Me.
Ew lol.
You can ask me anything from what inspired me to write this story to um, what's my favorite Danganronpa character or favorite Danganronpa game!
AND THAT'S IT! I'm looking forward to your questions! ^^
#trapped#saiibo#trapped!saiibo#airako tart#q&a#I already have some questions from Wattpad but I’d love for the tumblr fans to add in some :)#I think it’d be fun!#I’ll post the answers once I reach a certain

NDRV3 HPA AU characterization notes
(also added some additional details on their character designs :D) I already made a character guide of the kids here, but after writing a spontaneously updated fanfic about their school/dorm life, I now have a better grasp of how to portray them in this AU. More under the cut~
Family headcanons here
[Facebook] [Instagram] [Twitter] [Blogger] [Kofi]
The HPA AU comics I’ve been doing admittedly focused more on certain characters, so I’ve hardly thought about how to flesh out the others. To remedy that, I wrote a chatfic that revolved around them as a class and what started as something ‘just for fun’ turned into something a bit more serious, complete with plot and drama (which is strange for something in a chatfic format lol).
Kaede Akamatsu: The cheerful, charismatic and kind pianoholic who promotes friendship and cooperation, earning her the position of Class Representative. Selfless and empathetic to a fault, but can be quite pushy and bossy. Behind her confident facade, Kaede is insecure of not being able to live up to her responsibilities believing that all she’s ever good at is playing the piano, going by a ‘fake it til you make it’ attitude so as not to disappoint the people that relied on her ‘leadership.’ She has a tendency to be tactless towards people when very annoyed or under extreme stress.
Add: While not a very good cook, Kaede is an experienced baker.
Closest friend/s: Shuichi (childhood best friend), Rantaro, Kaito, Maki, Kirumi, Tenko (she is at least good friends with everyone in class tho)
Shuichi Saihara: The meek and soft-spoken detective in training who eventually fills the role of assistant class rep to Kaede. Cool-headed and intelligent, Shuichi shows promise of being proactive and responsible, but has difficulty in asserting himself due to confidence issues. He can be very emotional, prone to easily cry when overwhelmed by negative emotions. He also struggles with depression at times, although he tries to hide it as best he could. To people he is close with, Shuichi can be quite sassy and would joke about his ‘emo aesthetic.’
(When Shuichi wore his hat, his necktie is the standard red one)
Add: Shuichi is an avid fan of all things detective (looks up to Kyoko Kirigiri, has a sizable collection of Nancy Drew Books and Detective Conan Manga, retweets a lot of Sherlock Holmes quotes etc.)
Closest friend/s: Kaede (childhood best friend), Kaito, Maki, Kokichi, Kiibo
Kokichi Ouma: The self proclaimed supreme leader, he is a compulsive liar and prankster, fond of being disruptive and annoying towards his peers. While he tends to lie a lot, it’s not as outrageous and over the top (like in-game), and he would never push the buttons of anyone who was already distressed. Behind his outward unpleasantness, Kokichi cares a lot about his classmates, often calling them out on their bad habits (albeit it’s also in an unpleasant way) and looking out for them in his own unique way (which is subtle, at most). He dreads showing this side of him to class 79, as this was a sign of attachment on his part and this was only reserved to D.I.C.E members initially.
Add: Kokichi doesn’t know how to dance.
Closest friend/s: Rantaro, Shuichi
Maki Harukawa: The surly, unapproachable ‘assassin’ who is the walking definition of a tsundere. She dislikes socializing with her classmates, mostly because of her inability for small talk and difficulty to relate with her peer group as she spent most of her time dealing with children (in the orphanage). Maki is blunt but not unkind, and may be occasionally dismissive but (secretly) greatly appreciates those who reach out to her. Being emotional is Maki’s greatest pet peeve, making her great at compartmentalizing and repressing her emotions.
Add: Maki was physically conditioned and trained to be an assassin but it was for her to be Motion Capture stunt girl for an assassin-centric game. Has not killed anyone in real life, but physically can if desired.
Closest friend/s: Kaito, Shuichi, Kaede
Kaito Momota: The loud-mouthed and passionate astronaut who likes to give pep talks more than Kaede. Kaito pretty much keeps the class lively with his dumb antics. Despite his air of stupidity, he is quite street smart and a good judge of character. He has patriarchal views on gender roles, naturally irking most of his female peers. Additionally, he is hot-headed, stubborn and very competitive. True to his very upbeat and positive persona though, he dislikes showing weakness/ appearing weak. Kaito suffers from Tuberculosis, hence he coughs a lot.
Add: Kaito makes the best omelettes.
Closest friend/s: Maki, Shuichi, Kaede, Ryoma (one-sided)
Rantaro Amami: The lax and enigmatic adventurer who likes to meme, apart from traveling the world. Rantaro has a big brother vibe to him, but can be quite silly at times. He is fond of recounting experiences about his travels, often retelling them in a more imaginative version. Despite his nonchalant approach on everything, Rantaro is very particular on people’s perspective of him. He craves to be an important figure among his classmates, just like his central role on his siblings’ lives.
Add: Rantaro has a Youtube channel where he makes travel vlogs in the style of Bear Grylls’ Man VS Wild.
Closest friend/s: Tsumugi (middle school bestfriend), Kokichi, Kaede, Kiibo, Korekiyo
Kirumi Tojo: The responsible and mature maid with a strict adherence to her creed on selfless devotion. Kirumi is very capable of doing any (reasonable) task given to her, completing them with practiced efficiency. Taking her talent more seriously, she appears impassive and mechanical to her classmates. Her maid schtick is actually a conscious effort for her; beneath the carefully-maintained frigid and collected persona is a shy and anxious Kirumi with personal whims and ambitions. She has a sense of humor and would sometimes tease her classmates in some way or another (which always takes them by surprise). She can be quite condescending and judgmental when pushed to the limit.
Add: Kirumi is a closet bookworm, and has a collection of cheesy, young adult romance novels (may or may not own some raunchy ones).
Closest friend/s: Ryoma, Kaede
Korekiyo Shinguji: The studious and aloof anthropologist who revels in the beauty of humanity. Kiyo likes to observe people, mentally taking note of the intricacies of human nature, although this hobby of his isn’t taken kindly by some. Ambitious and resourceful, he spends a lot of time reading to further his knowledge. In turn, he is quite socially inept and often scares away any ‘potential friend’ with his intelligent ramblings. He is very close with his sickly older sister, but gets annoyed with her fussiness.
Add: He is a capable illustrator, often adding sketches on his journal of anthropological notes.
Closest friend/s: Rantaro, Gonta, Angie
Tsumugi Shirogane: The quirky cosplayer and talented seamstress with a habit of referencing popular and obscure pop culture stuff. Tsumugi is an avid fan of a lot media, from games to animes to TV shows, both western and japanese, often spending most of her time in her room to indulge in her fandoms. She also has a tendency to break the fourth wall and would reference the ‘NDRV3 canon universe.’ Tsumugi is quite insecure of her geeky side, and is a bag of nerves when under the spotlight. She is cowardly and unable to stand her ground, often playing for both sides in an argument in an effort to please both.
(the only one wearing the HPA uniform without modifications lol)
Add: She is a big fan of Junko Enoshima (a fashion blogger with her own brand of clothing).
Closest friend/s: Rantaro (middle school bestfriend)
Ryoma Hoshi: The stoic and detached Pro Tennis player who is very fond of felines. Ryoma likes to spend most of his time alone and would often disappear to god knows where. He is responsive when in conversation, talking in a melancholic tone. He is profound and insightful, open to giving advice freely to those in need. While very patient, he is vindictive and unforgiving to those who wronged him horribly. His whole family was murdered by a mafia group (leaving him with just the family cat) and he has since personally chased leads that will bring the perpetrators to justice. Despite his pursuit of the killers, he is not interested in delivering justice on his own and merely conducted his own investigation to aid law enforcement.
Add: Ryoma has a folder of cat game apps on his phone, his favorite in particular being Neko Atsume.
Closest friend/s: Kirumi, Gonta
Gonta Gokuhara: The gentle giant with a fascination on animals, particularly insects. Gonta is good-natured (very kind, polite and honest) but naive and childish. In spite of this, he cannot be easily tricked by Kokichi and would sometimes even join in on roasting him. He wants to be a gentleman and really tries his best to exhibit qualities of such. While not academically smart (being raised in the wild), he has extensive knowledge on flora and fauna. Gonta has bouts of self-doubt, believing himself to be incapable of anything. He can be very hard on himself and would do reckless things to prove himself.
Add: Contrary to most of his classmates’ impression on him, Gonta is not technologically challenged. He plays Overwatch in his free time (he mains Bastion).
Close friend/s: Ryoma, Korekiyo
Miu Iruma: The lewd and brash inventor with onion skin. Miu is outspoken and campy, often considered obnoxious by her classmates. She likes to make dirty jokes and projects an air of self-importance, but is also quick to deflate when reprimanded or talked back at. Being neglected her whole life, Miu wants attention, hence her over the top personality but this in turn made her a deplorable person. She spends most of her time building knickknacks to stave off the loneliness she feels. Over time, she does try to be less of a difficult person.
Add: Miu doesn’t know how to swim or ride a bike (but she can invent something that will keep her afloat on water and something that can keep her balanced on the bike).
Close friend/s: Kiibo
Kiibo Idabashi (not a Robot): The well-meaning and pacifistic Robotics Engineer that has a difficulty in relating with his fellow humans. Kiibo has lived a very sheltered life and has not been exposed to any social interaction with his age group prior to his enrollment at Hope’s Peak, making him quite stiff and robotic. He is very shy and apprehensive at speaking in class or called to recitation. He is also wimpy, but can get very defensive of his robotic creations.
Add: Kiibo missed out a lot on his childhood, so class 79 would often indulge him on what he was deprived of (like having pizza, playing tag and watching animated films).
Close friend/s: Miu, Shuichi, Rantaro
Tenko Chabashira: The energetic and cheerful aikido master who loves to defend girls from the degenerate MENaces. Tenko loves to be active, often encouraging the girls to exercise (especially those with a sedentary lifestlye). A fiery character, she wears her emotions on her sleeves and reacts strongly on impulse. She has a on a hair trigger temper, especially if the aggressor involves a guy and has a tendency to be physically violent. Tenko’s distaste towards men in general stems from a dark past: she and her mother suffered abuse from her own father. Her mother was eventually murdered by her father in front of her (at a young age) and after her father was subsequently locked up, she was taken in by her mother’s friend who was matriarchal.
Add: She is an adept shogi and chess player.
Close friend/s: Himiko, Angie, Kaede
Himiko Yumeno: The resident sloth who also happens to be a magician (er… mage). Himiko is very lethargic, dislikes doing almost any physical activity, often trying to weasel her way out of doing assigned tasks and the like. She isn’t dismissive of social interaction though, and is quite talkative when you start a conversation with her. She loves to watch youtube videos and web series, particularly korean drama. She is good at math, and would tutor Angie and Tenko when pestered enough.
Add: Himiko is ambidextrous, and can seamlessly use chopsticks with her left hand.
Close friend/s: Tenko, Angie
Angie Yonaga: The eccentric and bubbly artist with a deep devotion to an obscure religion. Angie is a pious devotee of Atua, and is willing to provide for the spiritual needs of her classmates. She loves mentioning unusual habits and customs from her island home, such as blood sacrifices and orgies. Hardly anything fazes her, this nonchalance and ignorance being considered sinister by some of her peers. Even with the best intentions in mind, she sometimes used religion to get what she wanted.
Add: Angie owns four horses (named War, Famine, Pestilence and Death) that Hope’s Peak allowed her to keep in school (for some reason). Their stables were located at the student/staff parking lot.
Close friend/s: Korekiyo, Tenko, Himiko
Great Gozu: The former Ultimate Wrestler is now the homeroom teacher of Class 79A. Despite his intimidating physique, he is gentle, patient and very supportive. He becomes quickly attached to class 79A and is quite protective of them.
--
And now for the romantic relationships~ (I inadvertently retconned some stuff from the HPA AU comics in the fanfic version apparently, I’m not very good at slow burn lol)
Kaede//Kirumi: Both of them are altruistic, though one is out of pure selflessness while the other due to moral obligation. Kaede is the first to develop a crush on the other, mostly out of physical attraction but it’s Kirumi that first falls in love between the two of them. Kirumi is mostly drawn to Kaede’s comforting presence and empathic nature, and is impressed with the pianist’s diligence in perfecting her musical craft. Kaede admires the maid’s dedicated work ethic, and is very enamored with Kirumi’s elegance and grace. Kaede’s considerate nature holds her back from pursuing Kirumi head-on out of respect for the maid’s seemingly unshakeable adherence to her creed of selfless devotion, while Kirumi struggles internally in balancing her whims and sticking to her creed. This results in them tiptoeing around their feelings towards each other.
Shuichi//Kokichi: One lies while the other exposes the truth. Kokichi, despite his growing interest on the detective, denies his feelings. Shuichi, initially unconfident about his chances with the supreme leader, takes the leap and reveals his feelings first. Kokichi is drawn to Shuichi’s intelligence, good-natured personality and cute face (and he may or may not have a detective kink). Shuichi is drawn to Kokichi’s complex personality, considering it a mystery puzzle only he could solve. Both Kokichi and Shuichi suffer from insecurities that the other deserve better than themselves; Kokichi believes Shuichi wouldn’t fall for him because of his complicated personality while Shuichi thinks Kokichi was in love with the more appealing Kaito, somewhat resigned he has no chance.
Kaito//Maki: Polar opposites and yet both hide the same thing; one relies on outward emotion to hide a weakness while the other represses emotion to hide a weakness. Kaito is greatly drawn to Maki’s independent and capable mindset but struggles with his own sexist mindset. Maki falls for Kaito’s endearing personality, but struggles to make sense of her romantic feelings. Eventually, they both overcome their weaknesses. Maki is the first to fall for the other, and while she is also the one to confess her feelings first, it was Kaito who first changed his ways, learning to be less sexist. Maki avoids Kaito when her feelings toward him intensified, but this unfazed the astronaut and remained wooing her consistently.
Tenko//Himiko: Polar opposites that balance each other out. Tenko and Himiko may have been the first pair to be immediately drawn to each other but they are the last pair to be officially together. Tenko’s more active lifestyle gets Himiko to reconsider her lethargic nature while Himiko’s relaxed attitude grounds Tenko’s overactive nature. Tenko was drawn to Himiko from the get-go, and while the smaller girl was initially annoyed by the aikido master being insistent, she eventually warms up to her. They subsequently act like girlfriends, but surprisingly their ‘official’ get together doesn’t happen til later.

So, Kirumaki/Makirumi is a good ship, here’s one of my Kirumaki kiddos that i respect. Yugaresa Harukawa “I, Yugaresa Harukawa, your class president, promises to never fail any of you and will let whatever is interfering with something you cannot do let you can do, by simply making it disappear.” Yugaresa Harukawa (東条遊公 魔姫) Is a student at Hope’s Peak Academy Class 93 and graduate of Marin Duodecim Proper Academy Yugaresa always ran for class president growing up and won the elections every time, she had strong leadership and gave courage to everyone. Some say she takes her job to seriously, but she believes she doesn’t work hard enough. Still, in the end she earns the title Ultimate Class President(超高校級の「学級委員」Super High School Level Class President)
Characteristics Gender: Female Height: 172 cm 5’7 Weight: 49 kg 108 lbs
Birthday: November 7 Blood Type: AB Age: 16-17 Likes: Lettering Pens Stainless Tea Sets Dislikes: Chewy Candy Pink Ribbon Voice Claim: Asami Imai https://youtu.be/kfF0TvBCs3s Family Kirumi Tojo (Mother) Maki Harukawa (Birth-Mom) Shapneita Harukawa (Younger Sister) Haruka Harukawa (Younger Sister) Harumi Harukawa (Youngest Sister) Status: Alive History Early Life Yugaresa was the first child her Mother and Mom, Kirumi and Maki, had. At first they believed it was impossible for two girls to have kids and end up having quite few. Unlike the rest of her friends and little siblings, she was an unplanned pregnancy, her parents didn’t want children but end up having her and a few more. Most of her childhood memories were very happy and good memories she could look back on, like always going to the park, having her Mom read to her, and helping her Mother cook. She was also taught to care for herself and be more responsible at a much younger age than others. To her siblings, she was always there for them and was the “Ideal Big Sister” that everyone would want. Up until she was around six years old, she was cheery and only saw the good parts in reality, often tried to pin back her bangs with hair clips but would always pop off due to her wanting to look nicer. When she was six years old, both her Mother and Mom had fallen asleep so she snuck out to their backyard. In their backyard, her mom, Maki, had a small shed that held all her weapons. Yugaresa and her siblings were banned from ever going inside it, but since her Mother and Mom were asleep, she saw it as a quick peek inside. She walked in and tripped on one of the boxes in there causing for a knife to drop down from above and cut her right in her right eye. Of course, she bleed and cried and caused both her parents attention who came rushing to her. After the wound healed as much as it could, she lost the function of her right eye and cover it up with her bangs and refused for anyone to see the wound and became Haemolacria due to her eye being damaged. While that happened she became colder and colder and even neglected some friends. Cause of Talent To get her mind off of her eye her Mother suggested she try running for class president, she took her Mother’s advice and won the elections. She continued many more years and continued until she was admitted into Hope’s Peak. Name Her given name is a mixture of the works graceful and lace. Yuga coming from graceful and resa coming from lace. Appearance Yugaresa has red eyes like her mom, and sandy blond hair with green tint and long bangs that cover her right eye like her mother but shoulder length hair. Followed by a royal blue headband with blue and teal and royal blue ribbons on the side, held with golden like flower shaped ribbons. As for her outfit she dons a royal blue cardigan with the same teal and royal blue ribbon as a tie with the golden flower shaped brooch. Her skirt is a knee length teal skirt with puffy white frills. Under her cardigan is a long sleeved dress shirt with a black and golden belt. Under she wears pale baby blue leggings with a fancy pattern on it with black mary jane shoes. As for her Hope’s Peak Uniforms she wears the school jacket normally except with blue ribbon tie and knee length skirt. Personality Yugaresa comes off as a proper young lady, but instead has a very serious personality and somewhat rude and barley smiles enless with family. She constantly cusses and swears and hates people and down right anti-social. She’s shown to be stubborn, independant, and cold to others. Mostly, when people look at her she turns around gives a dirty look and hisses at them. After she turned 7, she insisted her mom teaches herself defensive skills to protect her and her siblings. (such and ideal oneechan) Talent Ultimate Class President After her mother convinced her, she’s been a class president since. Although, her social skills are terrible and she heavily hates people especially children. (though her siblings and family are and exception) Thank you for taking time to read about my fankiddo. Fankid request are always open btw.
