So, as if all of you follow me and seen my page, you know I obviously love precure and obsessed with it! But here's the thing, I have some takes on it that could've been dealt with differently, some stuff wrong in it, and just bugs me know general,

So this is gonna be my hot takes and unpopular opinions post about precure!

‼️‼️‼️ Just a reminder, please don't harass or doxx me for those (I know how some of y'all are) as these are just my opinions! And I know not everyone is gonna agree with me here and have the same mindset and it's fine! Also the only seasons I've seen are go princess precure, smile precure, (first 3) episodes of wonderful precure etc, so basically I HAVEN'T SEEN ALL of its seasons so don't go bashing and spamming my page for this pls‼️‼️‼️

Other then that, let's get to the post lol

I find any villain x cure & fairy x cure ships to be hella nasty asf either way

I find joker to be interesting villains as he's one of my favorites, I get that he's not a character for everyone and that he can be weird sometimes but other then a few moments, I genuinely love him as a character as he's one of my favorites, and the ones that actually interested me too

(Despise the joker x cure beauty ship tho)

Wonderful precure was mid and disappointing asf

(I'm sorry)

I like the villains more then the cures since I find them to be more interesting

I don't like go5! Precure because of the one cannon fairy x cure ship that makes me hella uncomfortable

I lowkey wish there were more LGBT, body types, disability, mental health and POC rep or just any form of diversity in precure in general

Wish the female villains were well written and not just redeemable cures that become good later on, and actually more female villains, or ones with the same body type or end up being just "ugly"

(Drspear and majornia are the exceptions tho)

I wish there was more actual well written villains (like drspear, joker, shut, close, lock, etc) in general

We need more adult male characters like prince Kanata where every adult male character is just weird as fuck and doesn't end up dating the main protagonist or any other cure in general (coco I'm looking at you, you ugly ass rat *cough*)

I'm actually proud of glitter force being removed from Netflix and I'm celebrating its downfall, idc, stay mad

Candys design was ugly and I found her annoying and whiny

(I'm sorry)

Minami (cure mermaid) should've just cut ties and just never forgive her suppose "fiance" after what he just did and said to Haruka (cure flora) by calling her a groupie because of him being the incel that guy was and whining over minami "changing"

(If I we're her and my partner said that to my friend right in front of me and complained on what I've been doing and blaming it on them, I would've had fucking smacked and snapped on him if my partner said that to my friend idc)

I wish we were given more lore & backstory about the villains and how they are as characters in general and how they came to be (like joker, Pierrot, drspear, etc)

So, theres my takes and that's probably all, I don't have any more to talk about except I wish these were further dealt with, written differently, and more etc, that's all for now lol that's all folks!

Otona Precure!

I finally watched the whole season and here are my highlights:

Bunbee had the best character development. From an enemy in Yes 5! to a motivational speaker. I know his actual job is being a salesman but his speech was wonderful to say the least. He might be my favorite redeemed villain in Precure. I really enjoyed seeing him!

I love Nozomi x Coco. I'm so happy for them. They always support each other and they are partners for life.

Urara's song made me feel nostalgic. I wonder why she prefers acting in theater over music, cinema or TV? She really has so many options.

Kurumi's troubles made me afraid of corporate environment. I want to quit teaching and go abroad but I can't imagine myself being in a corporate like that.

I could also relate to Karen's patient. Being in a hospital for a long time and doing physical therapy is painful. I hated when I had to do this so many times. If my followers read this, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR HEALTH AND MOBILITY FOR GRANTED.

Komachi's interest in history and learning new things made me excited for her.

I never watched Splash Star, but Saki and Mai seem as close as Mirai and Riko. I don't believe their straight relationships will last long. They can just be with each other instead.

I hope there will be more sequels and more mahou shoujo series aimed for adult audiences.

I want a sequel for DokiDoki and Go Princess. Regina deserves to be a Cure and I want Haruka x Kanata to be together.

Hugtto needs a prequel with the Cure Tomorrow gang. I wonder how their future got so bad they had to travel back in time.

So for the past couple weeks, Tess and I have been making our way through Princess Precure (we’re at episode 33 out of 50) and I gotta say- I’m SO happy Tess convinced me to watch it ^v^

Like, going into it, I assumed that it would be okay at best and would most likely be fairly stiff and repetitive given that it’s a kids/toy-selling anime and all - but honestly? It’s SO much fun! There are so many times where this show has caught me off guard either with its humor or it’s surprisingly effective emotional beats.

My favorite Cure by far is Flora/Haruka. I love how empathetic and supportive she is, but I also love her passion and enthusiasm ^v^ she’s just such a fun and endearing main character. I also really enjoy the other Cures, as well as Yui and the fairies (Miss Shamour, my beloved. Also Yui deserves to be a Cure)

I really love the themes of the anime too, being focused on staying hopeful, believing in yourself, and working hard towards your dreams. As for ships, I think Flora X Kanata is really cute, and as for yuri ships, I’m Flora x Mermaid all the way - like she literally called Flora her knight like come ON!

So yeah, overall I’m having a good time ^v^ really looking forward to watching the rest of this series!

Ultraman X and Kamen Rider Amazons Episode 2 Thoughts + More Ultraman Stuff

This was an extra large Ultraman week for me and that is pretty crazy. For instance, I watched Shin Ultraman in the theaters this week. Also, Ultraman Decker Episode 24 came out.

Shin Ultraman

Yeah, I loved it. It really felt like the classic ultraman experience brought into the future and I love the strangeness of Ultraman with new visual effects. Something which people only grew up watching it would be able to understand. It was just so much fun. I'm currently working on a longer review of it on my wordpress blog.

Ultraman Decker Episode 24

Yeah, it was some crazy good stuff. Like peak amount of tension and detail with so much at stake. Kanata was able to save Agams and the sphere shield around Earth is down. But the final conflict is about to happen and Agams may have sacrificed his life? That's crazy. Uh oh.

Ultraman X Episode 2

Yeah, this so much fun. A lot of work was done in this episode with the introduction of what Xios is about to more of its crew, vehicles, and what its about. Plus, we see Birdon just wanting to hatch her eggs and that was so cute. Especially, if what Ultraman X is saying, that birdon was at peace around her eggs.

Kamen Rider Amazons Episode 2

So yeah, the straggler behind this group. Mainly because it's not Ultraman.

So much craziness happening here but there is some feeling of explanation for it now too. Especially in this series where Amazons are revealed to be science experience that survive off eating human flesh and there are thousands of them. We see our exterminator crew making the hard moral decision to kill one of their people turned into an Amazon along with Haruka finally deciding to fight as a Kamen Rider for them too. That's some crazy stuff for them too.

So yeah, a good week of Tokusatsu stuff :)
