Gina when did this rumor even get started? So many people mainly larries keep sharing this old ass bit of info as if it's new somehow believe this rumor even tho there is literally zero bit of evidence that proves this happens. Louis, Tom and others hung out a few times in early 1D days and some random anons claim they fucked and somehow there's larries out here posting shit about about it like it's a fact. 🙃

I woke up to an inbox full of questions about this stupidity. I honestly don't even understand why stuff like this gets shared (especially without any sort of evidence it's even real). All it does is get the OP lots of attention and create hysteria among newer fans.

First of all, it's a receipt from more than a decade ago, so I'm not sure why it's being talked about AGAIN. But I'll entertain the questions because I'm so tired of this stuff.

Tom Daley came out in December 2013. He met and started dating Dustin Lance Black (now his husband) that Summer. This receipt says he supposedly slept with Louis prior to that. We have photos of Tom with Niall, Harry, Louis, and Eleanor from James Corden's wedding in September 2012. As far as I know, that's the only time they have been publicly seen together.

We know Louis (and Liam) tweeted Tom about his performance on July 30th 2012. This was just after the band was announced to be performing at the Olympics closing ceremony, so truly unsurprising that their twitter accounts would be showing them having interest in Olympic athletes. We know Louis watched the swimming competition on August 11th in order to give us the super hot Elounor kiss and, once again, remind people that the band would be playing closing ceremonies.

Tom has been a fan of the band for a long time. He once dressed like Louis. He's more recently knitted Harry's JW Anderson sweater and cosplayed Harry on the cover of The Times magazine.

TL;DR: I've never seen anything that supported a rumor that Tom and Louis hooked up. All I've ever seen is fans thinking they'd look hot together and taking the fact that they'd met, and that Tom seemed to like the band, as fodder for rumors.

I have an unpopular opinion that unlike most ppl I dont think it's know in industry that louis is gay and he is with harry. Few might suspect it but I don't think it's a well know fact. especially post hiatus and babygate. I think any closet which includes babygate is an iron closet and not a glass one like Harry's. Also louis stunting with Sofie when he coincidentally had to attend some parties in LA makes me think his stunts are also meant for industry. Like el used to be at x-factor shootings. and that's why I feel he loves touring so much. except the one la show that's the only part of his job where he is completely free without any bullshit attached.

Hi! It depends on which part of the industry i guess. During 1D HL was all over each other backstage. They knew it would be kept within the industry because of NDAs and a code of silence. Industry people want to keep their jobs and they know all about fakery, hinding the gay, twisted image protrayals and PR stunts. The industy is very gossipy within the industry, and there are several 'worst kept secrets' everyone knows about. I don't think HL hides within the industry.

The Sofie stunt was so quick and i think it served two purposes (1) to confirm the end of elounor (2) to promote his documentary. I don't think Louis is stunting for the industry to believe it. What is he gaining from that? E being at txf was to show that their relationship was organic. There were hundreds of fans present. People used that argument all the time 'she/he wouldn't be there if it wasn't real'. ie. when she went to jays wedding or when louis went to her graduation. There were just so many people who didn’t buy it that they had to stunt on occations like that for it to seem somewhat believable.

Hi, so, the G-A-Y performance significantly changed One Direction's image. Previous to this, the boys were relatively able to be themselves on Twitter or in public in England, with plenty of evidence of this from the images of H and L in Italy on the Vespa or the bench in Sweden with H cuddling into L. The G-A-Y performance occurred on Sept. 18th, 2011. This was their first performance outside of X Factor scheduled events like the Live Shows or the Tour. They were singing their first-ever single, WMYB.

During the show, Louis and Harry act pretty close and silly, cuddling each other, especially after Harry falls while slipping on the , and cake. (The Cake was to celebrate Niall's recent birthday, but Louis gets it smashed in his face.) Many of his mannerisms during the concert were pretty flamboyant and gay or just not considered 'straight.'

Years later Louis also talked about what happened to him following this show. In 2017, Louis talked about how he decided as a fairly young man that he would drink before the show. He was nervous, so he drank, something we know he still does to this day. He may have been a bit drunk during the show, which wasn't up to the standard of how he should have been seen. He was sloppier and more himself rather than 'professional,' so the next day, he woke up to a text from Simon with information about a plane ticket to LA, a flight he took alone. Louis mentioned Simon giving him a dressing down while in LA for acting drunk (and flamboyant) while on stage.

Many fans took the change in Louis following this incident as a shift in how he was being allowed to exist in One Direction. He soon became less flamboyant, ultimately changing even further by mid-tour (TMH). Within two weeks was the AIMH tweet and the emergance of Eleanor, Louis going from a pretty flamboyant human to a slowly changing more subdued version of himself over time. Louis was punished for what happend at G-A-Y. Fans ultimately assume he signed his life away with the Always in my Heart tweet since the succession of how AIMH occurred and then we had the introduction of Elounor the next day, since the first time we see them is Oct. 3rd, 2011 and the AIMH tweet was Oct. 2nd, 2011. It happend as if they threatened to punish Harry, which they eventually did, but Louis took the Beard to save Harry from having to, even though Harry's reputation would become that of a 'womanizer'

Oh boi. OH. BOI OH BOI DO I. I do have quite a "I have connected the dots! you havent connected shit" for Half The World Away! Of course I do.

First, as for a timeline, the song leaked august 25 2020, and according to *the internet* (I believe the YT account that leaked it) it was recorded in 2013 as a demo for Take Me Home, which is a little weird considering Take Me Home was released late 2012. So either it was written and recorded in 2012 instead, or it wasn't for Take Me Home but maybe for Midnight Memories? I'm mostly interested in it being pre- or post-haylor really as I feel like this song and Two Ghosts are about the same deal, and as Two Ghosts has some haylor nudges, surely it making the most sense of it being written during/about that time.

To barge right in, right before the cut: this song is one big ol parallel to Nickelback's Far Away. And uh...

Louis got "Far Away" tattoo'ed on him in october 2012. He hasn't said it's the name of a song, I think he implied a couple of times that it's about being far away from home, he has (allegedly, I mean, in writing, so who knows really) said that the tattoo signifies: Though I’m away from home, my family is always in my heart. (ALWAYS IN MY HEART!?) (I have no clue where that comes from but it's in a couple of grain of salt trying to get clicks articles like this one)

But then in 2015 Chad Kroeger of Nickelback 'gave away' that he has it tattooed because because it was "his and his girls song" (here) Now if you go on to read the tags of that post it's divided in 2 clear fronts: either pure hysterical laughter that that tattoo can't possibly be a nickelback lyric nor about "his and his girl" and it's clearly just about missing home OR "elounor tattoo proof". Meanwhile I'm here all by myself cheering in a lonely corner for this song actually being Harry & Louis' song at the time.

It's a really fking sappy sad love song fighting for a love that is incredibly strong but struggling, really right up their alley:

And I don't know if that is setting off any alarmbells for you but it is for me. Half The World Away just seems like a fanpiece of this, really let's go over the parallels, I highlight them below but some of the stupid clear ones:

And yeah all these things are just common words common themes for songs but it's a bit much innit?

Side-track: There's also this interview moment with some serious couples bickering going on (starts at 0:40) that I'd say is already absolute gold on it's own, but it's interesting in this context. They're asked about their first concert, and Harry says Nickelback. (Harry the one without a nickelback tattoo likes nickelback, at least at the time, noted) Then Louis makes fun of Harry's mention of them here right? (Louis the one with the nickelback tattoo making fun of someone else liking nickelback ok noted) He just comes in again with that fetus Louis idk what to do with my affection so I'm just gonna resort to bullying for no reason again kinda toddler behavior, then when the bickering is done does this thing where he looks up and licks his lips/hides a smile, something we've seen before, oh I don't know, that time Harry talked about his awards being at his moms place and Louis knowing they're actually at his family's home. It's the I know more face, it is, fight me on it. I mean maybe it was in response to Cascada, or just the bickering on its own, or it was because the mention of Nickelback as it's something special to them as he does when they're on the topic of something harry has that is related to him like the times he kept aggressively hammering on harry's Hi tattoo or "what else harry? What else harry? WHAT ELSE HARRY?!" you know, that behavior.

Anyway back to Half The World Away, I think this song is a combination of Harry's true feelings at the time and coating it in some One-Direction-Approved-Narrative. In terms of sadness this is pre-Two Ghosts: Half The World away: "we're starting to lose who we are", Two Ghosts: "we're not who we used to be, we're two ghosts swimming in a glass half empty", and the worst: Ever Since New York: "there's no water in this swimming pool" (ESNY explained here)

I think I should attempt to break down the lyrics, although in this song, egh, I think there's quite some filler, some storytelling narrative, of all his songs I personally find this one... not... that... impressive? Is it OK to say that? I'm sorry? But I'm gonna do my best to properly look at it anyway:

But also the right vs wrong is used a lot in 1D/solo career songs and for sure some of the times, possibly all of the times it's in the context of , the "but this 'wrong' love feels right?", the "Why is our love 'wrong'?" kinda thing ("is it so wrong that you make me strong"), I mean maybe.

The story you’d heard

Ok so throughout the song he's creating this whole story right, I did something and you found out, now I'm trying to make things right and I'm scared we can't come back from this thing I did, which could be that, maybe he literally did mess up something and as a result he's getting cold-shouldered, sure, but it's so smackbanginyourface I feel like it's just for the sake of the concept of the song, makes sense?

As I said before, whenever songwriters plomp down words like "story" in their songs I take it as a hint that it's just that, a story. A narrative, fictional. Especially with One Direction's sneaky lil shits where all this band does is lie, and has the balls to release "Story Of My Life", here with "the story you'd heard" I'm just going HMMMMM once again.

It can just as well be taken literal tho. Bringing this 2013 interview in because it describes a partner hearing a story better than I can, it's literally Harry giving an answer in an interview that fits the story of Half The World Away:

Back to the "Now I’ll walk to you till my feet hurt" line. I'm just gonna go for a stupid reach, why not. I'm clinging onto Louis' Far Away tattoo already, and now I'm dragging Harry's Never Gonna Dance Again into it. This tattoo is a line from George Michael's Careless Whisper:

and put this on his feet as the song goes "never gonna dance again, guilty feet have got no rhythm", and here in Half The World Away we got hurty guilty feet walking. Which... could be a Careless Whisper nudge? Half The World Away's storyline kinda matches Careless Whisper's pretty well too. Maybe maybe not? Am I thinking too highly of him again? Now don't get me wrong, dancing/chances is really really really damn common in music, just listen to 3 random songs and you'll probably get some of it (Literally right now I'm hearing music playing and it's going "dance fucker dance man he never had a chance" while I'm typing this), but, it's a little excessive right? Not saying this all is definitely related, how would I know, just pointing it out. It just seems that they're drawn to this theme of having a chance to dance. Further enforced by ofcourse the (not) dancing in the Walls and TPWK music videos. They just really really fancy a chance to go ballroom dancing.

Y antes de que comiences a leer queremos aclarar que no pusimos algunos links que se encontraban en el post original porque son blogs/tweets eliminados o links que ya no funcionan. 

El festival de Leeds en el 2011 tuvo lugar el último fin de semana de agosto y es un hito en la historia del fandom de Larry. También marca un punto de inflexión desde Louannah hasta Elounor, y se puede considerar un último acontecimiento antes de la introducción de Elounor y el comienzo de un cierre más profundo de los dos chicos. Louis resume aquí la razón de todo esto un día antes de ir a Leeds:

Louis llevaba su camiseta del festival de Leeds 2011 (no la confundan con la negra del festival de Leeds 2009) el 16 de septiembre, el día antes de que aparecieran los primeros artículos de Elounor.

Louis también llevó su pulsera de Leeds hasta finales de octubre. En una entrevista sueca del 2 de octubre, Louis señala a los entrevistadores la pulsera de One Direction. Él procede a hacer esto:

Harry llevó su pulsera de Leeds hasta que se fueron a Australia en marzo de 2012 y posiblemente la sustituyó por el tatuaje "I can't change" (que se hizo el 27 de julio de 2012). No voy a especular sobre la posible conexión.

Otra cosa que vale la pena mencionar es el comentario de Facebook hecho por, lo que en ese momento se supone que es la cuenta de facebook de Louis (Stan era amigo de ella), en esta foto el 29 de agosto.

La cuenta de facebook de Louis ha sido eliminada. No voy a hacer ninguna suposición sobre la validez de la cuenta. Tampoco conozco la relación de la chica que publicó la foto con Louis. Sin embargo, creo que esta foto probablemente fue publicada en twitter antes de ser encontrada y publicada en facebook.

Actualización 07.03.15: Se confirma que Inv Isibleman es una cuenta de juego de rol y no está dirigida por Louis.

Hii... I was stalking your account a bit last night cos I was bored so from there I went to some other accounts and then from there to other accounts like a chain reaction... So I came across a blog account from 2013-14 ( they deactivated in 2014 ig) and there was this one anon who asked them that Louis hasn't been in the limelight for a long time and he was a bit sad or restless in interviews but was better now (as in when the account replied to their tweet which 2013 end or 2014 start ig)... Which made me wonder is it something to do with sept 28 ( I'm not saying they got married) ... Maybe they took a BIG decision for their relationship and had to fight a lot with the management and that's why Louis was a bit sad... But since I was not there then I don't know what happened can you help like what was going on during that time?

I think I have a few posts discussing what was going on with them - and more specifically Louis - between 2013/2014 but I couldn't find the posts so I'm sorry if any of you already saw me rambling about it haha because I feel like I'm repeating myself a lot with this.

But I don't think it has anything to do with September 28th or making a big step on their relationship. I think 2013 was a year where their closeting became very severe. The bullshit tweet was in September 2012 (yes that shit is going to be nine soon), around the same time Haylor happened too, and it was basically all downhill from there. 2013 was the year One Direction became BIG, worldwide big, and I believe all five of them (not only Harry and Louis) really felt that pressure, they were extremely overworked that year, they were too profitable. And as a consequence, I believe H&L also started to slowly realize the extension of their closeting, all the implications. Harry was basically the focus of all the attention they were getting, with his fuck boy over-sexualized image. During the TMH tour we saw them interacting less and less, I believe while they were filming This is Us they were also limited in terms of how they were supposed to act backstage since they always had a camera on them.

As for Louis, more specifically, I think he was heavily media trained and highly advised to tone down his flamboyance and "loudness", it's shocking to see the difference in how Louis acted between the beginning of TMH tour comparing to the beginning of WWA tour in the following year. He lost his confidence on stage, on his voice, everything. It felt like he was overthinking every movement on stage. It feels to me that it was their label/management best interest to let him fade in the background as much as possible. I'm guessing this also came as a punishment because he was the one standing up for the band behind the scenes, trying to have a say on their music, on their public images, etc etc... I think he pissed a lot of people off. He also lost a lot of weight very fast halfway through 2013, his weight loss was very visible and I remember fans being extremely concerned for his health. Probably one of the most horrible stunts happened in that year too, Haige, and I believe that had a huge impact on Louis as well. They were forced more and more apart to go stunting, they were not allowed to travel together anymore. Eleanor was literally everywhere with them, a lot of damage control. So I believe all of this contributed to Louis looking the way he did during that time. There was a lot going on. If I had to describe everything I just said in one video, this would be the one:

(I think there's an even worst footage of that because there was a camera on Louis' side too, but I couldn't find it) I'm not usually very emotional about that kind of thing, but this video of them at the airport in New Jersey where they forced them into different cars, completely breaks my heart every fucking time.

eu não sei se o harry e a eleanor sentaram para conversar, eu nunca pensei nisso para falar bem verdade, anon. Eu acho que hoje em dia ainda deve incomodar toda a situação que eles vivem, mas eu acho que por ser a eleanor e ela ter sido a primeira stunt em toda a relação deles, ela estar presente nessa segunda temporada deve incomodar menos do que se fosse uma pessoa bem desconhecida e ter que se acostumar com tudo de novo. Esse ano completou 4 anos desde que elounor 2.0 começou, e eu acho se fosse com outra pessoa seria mais difícil ter que passar por isso de novo. Eu falei em algum lugar que eu acho que a eleanor não voltou só para ser beard, mas também acho que ela tenha voltado com outra função também, então ela pode ser realmente a assistente do louis e cuidar do clifford etc, não sabemos.

Agora sobre woman, eu nunca tinha parado para pensar que essa música foi inspirada em uma conversa que o harry e a eleanor tiveram. Eu não acho que seja inspirado especificamente em uma conversa entre os dois, eu acho que é um todo que o harry vivenciou. A escrita de woman me lembra muito a escrita de happily. Como se ele tivesse com as pessoas específicas em mente quando escreveu essas músicas, mas não quer dizer que fato teve esse diálogo. Essa é a minha opinião, claro que pode ter tido a conversa! Eu não sei o que rolou. Não estou descartando a sua análise, só comentei a minha.
