Reminder that Harry Anderson and Vrissy Lalonde are legally cousins and that any quadrant they fill is legal incest.

I understand little backlash from the fandom because of how a lot of Homestuck shipping discourse and ectobiology makes incest very hard to avoid, but the new team decided to keep them going and refused to break up Harry and Vrissy, or even Tavros and Vrissy, who are also technically related because Tavros is the son of Jake and Jane who are also the grandparents of John and Jade, and John is married to Roxy who is Rose’s mom and Rose is Vrissy’s adoptive mother.

Meaning Tavros’s nephew is married to Vrissy’s Grandmother and thus Vrissy’s mom is John’s daughter-in-law and is Tavros’s First cousin. So Tavros is dating his neice in law.

The thing was we didn’t have human biologicial incest yet, until Dirk and Rose!

I think even the new team rubs up to incest!

People had excused that since Vrissy was ADOPTED, it doesn't count as incest. But yet they won't say the same in anime if someone remarries someone or adopts a child and the two children started having feelings towards each other. So are they still related or not because of social construct and government papers? Is cousin romance better because technically cousin marriage is legal in some states and countries? And now, people are saying that Dirk and Rosebot are not actually fucking, but it's a familial relationship between father and daughter as family. I still have no answer when I ask on what kind of daughter being happy with her father involves LEAVING YOUR WIFE BEHIND TO CREATE SOME FUCKOFF NEW UNIVERSE CAUSE EARTH C WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH?! The fans also probably had glossed over some of Dirk's text and euphemisms (if I'm using the definition right) Terezi, Dirk, and Roesbot talked about. Because even if the story and text is complete SHIT, they still have pretty pictures to distract them from the bullshit. We can't have both or equal amounts of mid-decent in the text and art.
