Happy Harriet Tubman Day
March 10th
If there is a comprehensive list out there of the depictions of Ancestor Araminta, lead me to it. In the meantime, here are some that I could find/remember.
I will say this one thing: some people had to have known that they didn't have no business saying "yes" to the role. This is not a masterlist.
One last thing: I feel like I used to see Harriet Tubman art, but in today's Tumblr, that search only gets us Clone High Harriet.

It’s Harriet Tubman Day 2025, for those who don’t know who Harriet Tubman is; she’s was a iconic, legendary & well renowned abolitionist who was a former slave in the beginning of her life & after a incident involving getting hit on the head by a stone weight, she started experiencing sleep spells (aka narcolepsy) and believed these were visions by God and told her to escape & she did via the from the South & into the Underground Railroad & risked her life to save and help enslaved people escape to freedom, later on she became a suffragist for women’s rights and roles in society, served in the Civil War, built schools and hospitals, and many many more. She was in so many places and positions and did so many incredible things and now it’s been 112 years since she passed away and I’d like to say thank you Harriet Tubman for so much & rest well up in the empyrean heavens above you legendary lady.

Revered abolitionist Harriet Tubman, who was the first woman to oversee an American military action during a time of war, was posthumously awarded the rank of general on Monday. Dozens gathered on Veterans Day at the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park in Maryland’s Dorchester County for a formal ceremony making Tubman a one-star brigadier general in the state’s National Guard. Gov. Wes Moore called the occasion not just a great day for Tubman’s home state but for all of the U.S. “Today, we celebrate a soldier and a person who earned the title of veteran,” Moore said. “Today we celebrate one of the greatest authors of the American story.” Tubman escaped slavery herself in 1849, settling in Philadelphia in 1849. Intent on helping others achieve freedom, she established the Underground Railroad network and led other enslaved Black women and men to freedom. She then channeled those experiences as a scout, spy and nurse for the Union Army during the Civil War, helping guide 150 Black soldiers on a gunboat raid in South Carolina. Nobody would have judged Tubman had she chosen to remain in and coordinate abolitionist efforts from there, Moore said. Read more at theGrio.com.1d

Firstly I crave the Harriet - Marie Curie friendship interactions please
I noticed some mentions of my Toph being a chubby lil' guy and like yeahhh he isss lol 🍑😚 but ohhh man would he like. freak out if he heard someone say that about him. i completely agree he was sucking that shit in during his uh. 'fight' with Mr. B. hes dedicated (and insecure)
Dialogue:
Marie - "oh my god, is that columbus? he's so small and fat! it's cute!"
Harriet - "haha yeah, he's kind of a freak, though..."
(the word 'fat' reverberates around Topher, he's hyperfocused on her saying that)
