A 16-year-old boy from Pimpri-Chinchwad in Maharashtra died after jumping from the 14th floor of his building, according to the police. They suspect he was addicted to online games, which may have led him to take this tragic step. The boy left a note called "Log out note," along with a strategy map of a multiplayer combat game. The police found several sketches and maps in his notebook. However, they haven't been able to access his laptop because they don't know the password. The police plan to get help from cyber experts to find out which online game he was playing.

Svsss fandom I need some help!

I have a wip that requires creating background OCs as well as naming some of the nicknamed/unnamed characters. I've been doing research on Chinese naming conventions but I would hate to create something that works on paper but not in actuality (or doesn't work at all!). I also have ideas for names but I cannot find the proper characters/rominizations nor do I know if my ideas can actually work. Can anyone share some tips and/or sources/guides? Should I cave and create a reddit account to ask my question in r/svsss?

I appreciate any and all help and guidance!!

"but spacie, i have no followers why should i reblog things" let me answer this question using myself, a person who has been using tumblr for almost a decade now, as an example. pre 2022 the most followers i ever had was like 125. most of them were dead blogs. killed in the porn ban or just people who had left for whatever reason. out of the people left who were still active, i had like 3 people at the most interact with my blog on a monthly basis. for years b4 this, i had ZERO FOLLOWERS but upon making my blog i saw all the other ppl who had been using this website longer than me talking abt how important it was ta reblog shit, and throughout all these years on tumblr, even when i had no followers i reblogged things. b/c i understood that it was integral ta the way this site functions.

now mind you, just b/c i had no followers didn't mean ppl wouldn't stop by and reblog things from my blog. every couple months id have a new person find me and reblog something. maybe they'd reblog a lot of stuff! the point is that id go months without any interaction at times and i STILL reblogged things because i knew people could find me and see something they liked on here. eventually people who frequently checked my blog ta see what i would reblog followed me!! im sure there’s ppl who dont follow me that ta this day who still reblog the stuff on here!! the point is that it genuinely doesnt matter how many followers you have. sure, it certainly helps, but ppl can still find and interact with the things on your blog without you having thousands or even hundreds of followers. so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reblog things.

in all seriousness tho i am begging groveling pleading etc for infantilization to be done away with in this big new year. begging y’all to just be normal about autistic characters. be normal about disabled characters in general. stop reducing us to shy fragile children who need to be coddled in every relationship we have. stop with the eugenicist mental age trope altogether! but above All else just be normal about us as actual human beings. you’re not 5 years old and lacking prior knowledge about different people and that it’s rude to point in public. even a 5 year old lacking prior knowledge has better understanding and empathy. you’re old enough to know better. and if we’re telling you, “hey, that thing you’re doing is actually really bad, please stop!” don’t just double down on it for the love of god. fandoms have come a very long way as viable communities and support systems for people who would otherwise have none, especially queer people, especially POC, and that especially includes disabled people too. try to keep it that way for everyone!!!!! It’s just that most of your blog talks about inclusivity and how every body is a good body then you talk about skinny people as though they are less than or somehow stupid for being so.

Can I at least ask you politely to stop doing that?

I know it’s your blog and you can do what you like, and it’s just really jarring every time you do it given the rest of your content.

You really don’t need to make fun out of people’s appearances.

Or at least not make fun of people who point out that you’re not as inclusive as you pretend to be.

So, what I'm going to do now is take you at your word that you are not a troll. Yes? I'm also going to assume that you are not so ignorant to the nature of fatphobia on this website and in the real world as to not be aware of why I assumed your original message asking 'why it's okay to make fun of skinny people and not fat people' was fatphobic trolling. Because you are not stupid, so you know that that's not a question usually asked in good faith, but instead a question asked with the intent of downplaying fatphobia by equivocating bigotry to 'being sort of mean'.

We're going to the get the basics out of the way as well. No, I do not think that skinny people are less than anyone else. No, I do not think that anyone's body is representative of who they are as a person. Yes, I presume I have slagged off skinny people in the past, because I am a human being who gets frustrated on their personal blog sometimes, especially in the face of a society that has treated me and treats my friends like they actually are less than human for being fat.

But, I said I would take you at your word, so I went ahead and looked back through my post archive to see what posts would have led to this response. And the answer is that I have found only one in the past few months. It does not make me more inclined to believe you are actually engaging with me in good faith.

aside from my previous response to you, this is the only post i've made that mentions being thin at all. you may notice, perhaps, that this post is expressing frustration through a reflection of fatphobia in the media we consume. you may even notice that this is, in fact, not an actual scenario you will ever have to encounter or deal with in real life, because there is not a single fucking piece of media i can think of that bothers to have more than one fat character in a major role, and certainly none that position being skinny as a failing in contrast to said fat character. that is not the world we live in.

I'm sorry that it may have made you uncomfortable to look at a single post about how one body type has been privileged over others for so long that we don't even think it's weird that, despite such a huge amount of the population being fat, we don't have an abundance of fat characters to reflect it. we have even less if we then cross out characters whose fatness is used to portray them as slobby or greedy or evil. We have even less if we narrow it down to fat characters who are not defined by constantly eating or talking about food.

I am unhappy about this. I will continue to be unhappy about this. I am, selfishly, going to prioritize my unhappiness in this situation over your comfort, because I do not get to see people who look like me or my friends that aren't constantly dehumanized in anything that we watch, or read, or play. So, on my blog, I am going to talk about the hypothetical world where for once, fatness is treated as the norm and something to aspire to. Because god forbid thin people get uncomfortable when we are not about them for one fucking minute.

And I looked! This is the only post I've made recently that I can find that mentions being skinny as a negative thing. That mentions being skinny at all! So unless the subtext of what you're saying to me is that you find posts where I'm talking positively about fat people as inherently an attack on anyone who's thin, I do not understand where you are coming from. If you want to point something out to me, then I will take the evidence, but I cannot find it.
