I would have never discovered Laura Gilbert, let alone would ever have become friends with her, if it weren’t for her Harley Quinn Suicide Squad cosplay. I saw her on Instagram, and from there, I became a fan, and from there, a friendship blossomed. And that wasn’t the only thing that happened because of that cosplay. Laura also ended up amassing a huge online following, got to appear at multiple conventions, got to travel halfway around the world more than once, got to meet people she was a fan of, got to do ads for PlayStation and KFC among others … it’s honestly insane to think how much her life changed the moment she laced up those black and white heel boots for the first time. Once someone went, “OMG, she looks just like Margot Robbie!”, it was like a domino effect took place.

But believe it or not, Laura and Margot had never met until last Friday at the Barbie movie fan event in Sydney, Australia. Seeing Laura and Margot interact with each other brought a huge smile to my face. I know from first hand experience how it feels to meet someone you’ve been a huge fan of for years. It’s a great feeling. I am so glad that Laura and Margot Robbie finally got to speak to each other face-to-face. This was a moment years in the making, and it went even better than expected.

Just wanted to take a moment to raise a glass and wish y'all a fabulous Christmas 🎅🎁🎄 ☃️ I don't know about anyone else, but the lead up to mine got pretty hectic. I seemed to have all the time in the world to buy presents and stuff until suddenly I didn't anymore and I had to get my game face on. Thankfully people liked the stuff I got for them 👍👍. I'd been a good gal this year😇 (most of the time), so Santa didn't forget about me and I'm writing this curled up on my sofa in a brand new, super snuggly bath robe. I only wish I hadn't eaten quite so much 🍽️. The pic is me getting merry as Harley Quinn. As I've said before, my costume here is a bit of a mismatch, but I think it fits the character. Hope you like it. More cosplay shots coming in 2025.

Hot on the heels of my Halloween cosplay post, here's another of my recent Harley Quinn pics 📷 This one's called ♦️♦️SHE AIMS TO TEASE♦️♦️ Its one of my faves, though as you can see, some of the fake tattoos on my thighs were starting to come off by this point. I was a tad peeved about this tbh 🙄 I didn't pay much for them, but I'd have expected them to last more than a few hours. If the makers ever happen to read this, I'm giving you a big 👎. Things I like about the shot are the pose and the way it showcases my costume, which as I've said before is kind of a work in progress. I've used the gun 🔫 for a couple of other characters, but it probably suits Harley best and you're definitely seeing it from a good angle here. As for the location, I was imagining a lair somewhere. You can't really see, but along with the bat and vodka, there's some mocked up plans for a bank heist on the table. Will everyone's favorite clown girl pull the heist off? Who, knows, but anyone who tries to stop her is gonna have their work cut out 🤼‍♂️ (including that holier than thou caped crusader 🦇). Hope y'all are liking these new pics. Lots more to come.

HELLO EVERYBODY! I CAN FINALLY SHARE MY NEW COSPLAY!

My Harley Quinn from Batman the Animated series has finally arrived. There are barely any words to describe how happy I am. This show means the world to me. My best friend since high-school introduced me to it and we are still friends to this day.

I feel so freaking pretty in this costume as well. AAAH <3

Hopefully I will get my spark back soon to draw and doodle again. Because I missed it a lot. <3
