Herta Bertel, my mum is dead

Christian name: Herta Brigitte Krug, married to Dr Michael Bertel since 1977. Her birth and childhood: She was born in the city of Salzburg as Herta Brigitte Krug. Herta Brigitte was her first name. After her birth, she spent her childhood in Lessach, Lungau. As an unmarried child, she was placed in various foster homes on farms, where she was forced to do child labour. When she was so severely emaciated in her childhood that she was hospitalised due to an attack of weakness, her condition was extremely critical. She was able to recover in hospital and was then placed as a foster child in another foster home. Even as a child, Herta learnt a lesson that has stayed with her throughout her life. Life is first and foremost about painstaking survival. Her tough childhood shaped her for the rest of her life. Later in life, she was never able to be relaxed, light, playful and cheerful. Her brooding mind was characterised by material worries and a secure job so that she would never go hungry again. Her maternal grandmother was deaf and dumb all her life. Her grandmother was considered stupid in Lessach because of her deaf-muteness.

Her work as a civil servant in a health authority - secretary in the health authority: She was initially an unskilled worker in a jewellery shop and had only attended primary school as a child. After moving to the city of Salzburg, Herta later worked for decades as a secretary at the Salzburg Health Department at Anton Neumayrplatz 3 (near the Haus der Natur) until she retired. At first she lived alone in Müllnerhauptstraße 18 on the 3rd floor. A few months later, she moved into a council flat (garcionnaire) on the 2nd floor at Goethestrasse 12 in Itzling. Here she initially lived with a friend called "Sigi" (Siegfried Gmachl), with whom she ended the friendship. During this time, she worked as a secretary in the health department and met Dr Michael Bertel in Salzburg and got married (1977). They initially lived together at Goethestrasse 12 in Itzling. Peter Siegfried Krug, who lived with other orphans at Guggenthal 62 (Georg Weicklweg 32) at the time, came to this 32 square metre council flat at the weekends. A short time later, Michael and Herta were looking for a freehold flat. They found their first flat in Künstlerhausgasse in Nonntal. They didn't stay there for long and bought a condominium at Hellbrunnerstraße 7b. They lived together for 47 years. Dr Michael Bertel loved her. Their son was Peter Siegfried Krug (born on 23 November 1966 in the city of Salzburg), known as a chess composer of chess studies.

His father was called Dr Peter Strobl (according to Herta Bertel) and was a doctor by profession. Dr Peter Strobl was blond and tall. Herta Krug (she was still unmarried at the time) was friends with the biological father (Dr Strobl) from around 1962 to 1966. They went dancing in Kitzbühel. He already had a family. This doctor advised Peter Krug to have an abortion. His mother found this very unusual and disappointing. She demanded no child support from the biological father and took Peter Krug to a children's home after his birth. At the time of Peter Krug's birth in 1966: Peter Krug's baptismal certificate stated that his mother Herta Brigitte Krug (her birth name before marriage) was an unskilled labourer and lived at Müllner Hauptstraße 18.

Peter Krug's godfather was Siegfried Gmachl, also a labourer. Siegfried G. later lived with his mother (née Herta Krug) for several years at Goethestrasse 12 in Itzling (32 square metre rented flat, a garconnière in Salzburg). Peter Krug's biological father was not listed on the baptismal certificate. His mother Herta waived his father's maintenance payments and also erased the identity of his biological father forever. However, this sealed Peter Krug's fate of poverty in his childhood, as he was moved from home to home and from foster family to foster family without any possessions. Peter Krug never learnt anything about his biological father, neither what he looked like nor where he lived.

Due to a lack of evidence on his father's side, Peter Krug not only lost his father forever, but also his maintenance claims and his paternal inheritance claims. Difficult relationship between Peter Siegfried Krug and Herta Bertel Peter Siegfried Krug, her son, was separated from his mother from birth. Peter Krug was placed in an infant home immediately after his birth. At the age of 2, he was sent to a children's home in Itzling. He was locked up there. He remained there until he was six years old. As a small child, Peter was allowed to visit his mother once a week from this children's home (Kirchenstraße 33).

The visit was always characterised by speechlessness and constant recriminations from his mother. Peter Krug could never understand these recriminations as a small child and when he returned to the children's home, these recriminations had a very negative effect on Peter's psyche. Unfortunately, every visit to his mother always followed the same pattern. Peter was unable to cope with the emotional strain caused by the constant recriminations and later at school it meant that he was unable to develop any interest in learning and did not pay attention in class. As a result, Peter Siegfried Krug often became an outsider at school and his mother labelled Peter a failure due to his poor grades.

Insecurity, nagging self-doubt and being an outsider characterised his entire later school years and meant that he was unable to perform to the required standard. Freeing himself from this negative spiral and building up a sense of self-worth was the focus of his entire later life. Her son Peter Siegfried Krug's great hope was never realised For over 40 years, Peter Siegfried Krug hoped for affection from his mother Herta Bertel. But after always feeling frustrated and depressed after visiting his mother, he gave up hope completely.

Through research and conversations with people he knew from the past, he came to the realisation that his mother had almost ruined his life with her destructive behaviour. She never played with Peter and couldn't have a normal dialogue with him without repeatedly burdening Peter with the same accusations. A reconciliation with his mother has still not been possible. He called on Christmas Eve (24 December 2011) only to say that there would be no further meeting until his death. From 2011 until her death in 2024, her son Peter Siegfried Krug did not visit her again. Family background of Herta Krug Herta Bertel (née Krug) is said to have been an unmarried child herself as a child. She grew up in Lungau, Lessach....

Danny finds out that

1. He's a clonish 'love child' of two heroes

2. He was accidentally created during one of his donors mental break downs after losing his father and best friends (one of which was his other donor)

3. CW interfered before his creator realized what he made and pulled him out of that dimension because "it would had lead that world to true ruin if he found out at his state of mind. He's better now but it would had been the final straw for him should anything had happened to you in his care and given who he had to partner up with later... I did what I had to."

4. Due to Danny having a bad fall out with his parents after he told them about being Phantom (they didn't attack him... but they did disown him.) Danny is left adrift of what to do. He doesn't wanna bug Jazz, she's in college and dorming. Tuckers place has no room. Sam's parents would never let him stay. Vlad was a definitely a no go. And Dani (Ellie) last check in was near the Amazon rainforest.

5. Danny finds out some of his powers might not be as ghostly as he thought... it does explain the huge power boost some of his powers have compared to other ghosts.

6. He went to Clockwork... who proceeded to tell him the truth, smile his cryptic smile while saying "and now. Have fun this time around. I'll see you again in due time Daniel." Before yeeting him into a portal.

7. Danny woke up in his home dimension.... deaged to being five years old (the age he would be if he stayed and grew by now) (DC timeline is slower than DP in this)

8. He woke up apparently his creator's home city... during a Gala (Danny woke up in a garden, dazed and confused. His memories are fuzzy)... and wandered into the party... and apparently he looked like a perfect mix of his.. dads? Which catches A LOT of peoples attention.

9. Especially with Tim Drake-Wayne and Conner Kent-Luthor just announcing they're dating that very night.

10. Rumors and gossip of a random kid, who looks just like the recent happily announced couple, go flying quickly among the elite... and reaches certain ears before it gets to batfam and supers (I have a feeling they learned how to block out rumors and gossips during these events)

11. Those ears happen to be Lex Luthor and Ra's al Ghul (both who are there at the Gala just to annoy and unnerve the Bats and Supers)

12. By the time the rumors get to Tim and Conner, they find Danny almost getting taken away by one of those two.

While still fixated on TMNT at large, I am especially not able to stop thinking about Bad End Ninja Turtles, an au comic by @butterfilledpockets. 2003's "Same as it Never Was" Raph may not have ever experienced the Ninja Tribunal arc, AND I don't think Rise movie Leo still has his powers, so maybe this was just as much of a surprise for the both of them as it was for Ronin. at least we know for sursies Don-bot has seen magic shit before.
