As night fell on All Hallows Eve and darkness smothered the wild west Highlands of Scotland with a dense, velvety black, Algy still could not take his eyes off the strange bat, which continued to swoop round and round over the mysterious pool in the peat bog, its eyes glowing with an unusual orange light.

As Algy knew only too well, a fluffy bird just can't be too careful in these ancient Celtic lands, especially on Halloween, but although he tried to break away, he found that it was quite impossible, and before long Algy began to feel as though he were going round and round too, and then the entire world started to revolve…

But as Algy spun helplessly around the flapping bat, he reflected to himself that at least he wasn't going round widdershins, and so everything would probably be all right in the morning… he hoped!

Happy Halloween everybody – just make sure that if you feel you are spinning, you go around clockwise tonight! 👻😎😉

people need to be more considerate towards animals, especially strays, during new year. because fireworks nonstop until 1 am is actually insane. please fucking think about animals. I promise you, your 2024 and your life will be shit if you start new year by harming animals.

there are reports of animals, especially strays, dying from heart attack as a result of fireworks every fucking year. when will we fucking learn?

Found what started out as this animation before I decided I wanted it to be Lilith and Lucifer centered 🤌

Algy fluttered across to the other side of the bog pool, to watch for signs of life in the murky, peat-laden water, but when he settled down on the soggy grasses he immediately felt a wee bit strange, and as the short day faded rapidly into twilight, he began to experience rather more animation in the immediate environment than he had bargained for…

Of course, in the wild west Highlands of Scotland a fluffy bird is rarely nonplussed by unusual phenomena, but this did seem rather excessive… until Algy suddenly remembered that it was All Hallows Eve…

Perching mesmerized beside an eerie pool in a remote west Highland peat bog, Algy wishes all his friends around the world a very spooky Halloween, and hopes that you will all enjoy many more treats than tricks tonight!

From Ghoulies and Ghaesties, long-leggety Beasties, and Things that go Bump in the Night, may the Good Lord deliver you all 👻
