So Tessa was born to an unwed couple who were in their mid 30′s at the time, her mom thought the two of them were hopelessly in love until Tessa was four and dude just dipped? Her mom came home one day and all his stuff was gone, no note or anything, he emptied their account and they haven’t ever heard from him since.

Her mom is an absolute saint of a woman however (think Lorelai from Gilmore Girls meets Donna Sheridan from Mamma Mia), just an absolute quirky angel of a woman who definitely took in and helped abandoned animals but was also the place all the kids in town knew they could go if they had shitty parents/living situations or just a bad day and they needed a safe place to go? So obviously she stepped up and took down all dudes pictures and just raised Tessa like the single boss she is.

Tessa grew up into like an angel of a kid but oh buddy was she a chaotic one. Total tomboy, full of insane energy and personality, always on the move and exploring and doing things she shouldn’t be. Definitely the type to show up back at home as the suns going down just covered in dirt and bumps and bruises. 100% knocked her own baby teeth out from falling and slamming her face and had two front silver teeth as a little kid.

She was never very girly and because she grew up in this southern town that was just full of very critical asshole kids from more well-off families than her own was, particularly the girls who were very prissy, she definitely ended up clicking more with boys and quickly became ‘one of the guys’. Like undoubtedly had an all male friend group and was definitely the girl that girlfriends would be paranoid about while all the dudes were like confused as to how their girls were jealous because Tessa was just like another guy/little sibling, there was no interest on either end.

Has slight anger management issues? Like she’s chill but when she blows up man does she blow up. Pushed a girl down a flight of stairs at school after she made a remark about a friend, the family pressed charges and Tessa had to go to anger management classes and serve community service hours. She also got kicked out of school and just decided not to go back, went online and just got her GED at seventeen instead.

She realized her hometown didn’t have much to offer her and it wasn’t where she belonged, nor was she ready for college, so she took what money she had saved and instead purchased a sprinter van and began road tripping around the U.S.

At some point along the way, dumbass met a boy that wormed his way into her heart and it was a kind of a slightly unstable relationship because she would try and push away from him and her feelings but he always drew her back? Already has a shitty relationship with love after her father and two not ideal high school romances. Dude tried though and even proposed after like months of them being together and she panicked and ran but still he drew her back and they agreed that they should chill with the idea of engagement/marriage? There was always another girl in the picture though and even though he assured her that his feelings were with her, his actions often seemed to show otherwise.

After yet another break, the two ended up sleeping together but she definitely realized that he wasn’t in love with her at all/anymore so she saved herself the conversation and just dipped before he woke up and ran, spent a solid week just out partying/drinking and ended up sleeping with some stranger and then ended up pregnant with no clue as to which guy was the baby’s father. Whether fortunately or unfortunately, it was the one night stand’s who decided he had no interest in being around.

Obviously she knew she needed to change her course and focus on becoming a mother and setting up a future for herself and her child, but not being financially independent enough, she reached out to a lifelong friend who allowed her to move in and began to figure out school.

She’s always been a big fan of kids (worked for a daycare after school, got involved with a charity that worked with orphans/orphanages while traveling) and so she decided that she wanted to be a child life specialist and is still in school but also working an internship with Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.

Ended up having a little girl named Addison (Addi), this child is her whole world and she’s definitely the mom that posts about their kid too much on social media but she’s just turned Tessa’s life around and helped her mature in ways she wouldn’t have without her and she just loves her kid more than anything/anyone else.

Personality

A dork? Literally the biggest dork, the dorkiest of dorks, just a whole friggen dork. This child rambles like you wouldn’t believe and her mouth 100% works faster than her brain so like you never know what to expect but she’s just a happy, friendly, sarcastic little bean with social anxiety and a heart of gold tbh.

Also an aggressive lil’ lady though, like 12/10 chance she’ll throw hands if you want to fuck with or say something about the people she loves.

A chaotic soul as well like down to party and have a good time and will definitely drink a dude under the table, definitely broke her ribs two summers in a row from a drinking game because this child doesn’t know when to slow down or chill out, she’s just trying to live.

But also the mom friend? Like even before becoming a mom, she’s used to taking care of people and making sure everyone’s good like? 100% convinced her friends to do dumb shit as a teenager and then turned around and tended to their wounds. Also if you’re in her house and it’s meal time, you’re eating. It’s not an option, like sit and eat dinner and tell me about your day.

Emotional as hell, like definitely cries during commercials and Disney movies, but like if you’re trying to tap into her serious emotions she’s gonna shut that shit down. She keeps people locked out tbh and just jokes about the serious shit in her life if she does talk about it.

Desired Connections

Friends; could have lived in/visited Texas and met when she was younger, met while she was traveling, met through her charity work or just after her/them having moved to New York recently.

Exes; so her most recent ex is off limits because it’s based off a real connection but like either of her exes from high school? The first one (cheated on her) would have had to have lived in Texas for some time but the latter (only with her on a bet to see how long it would take to get in her pants, she broke dude’s nose when she found out) could have been visiting friends/family for a summer? If anyone has a character that works for these I’m down for the drama.

She had two shitty relationships as a teenager, the first cheated on her because she wasn’t ready to have sex and then the second whom she actually gave it up to, turned out to just be with her on a bet to see how long it would take him to get in her pants? She ended up punching dude in the face when she found out and broke his nose and asshole’s family actually wanted to press charges until Mama Richards shut the shit down.

TW: SUICIDE ATTEMPT MENTION Has slight anger management issues? Like she’s chill but when she blows up man does she blow up. She was (and still is) very close and attached to her mom, absolute most important person in her life, but she worried about her so much her mom realized she probably wasn’t ever planning on leaving? So her mom got the help of her friends and they actually filled out an application for her to go onto a reality tv show? Seems crazy but each season took place in a different part of the world and her mom knew she wanted to travel but would never make the decision herself so when she got cast her mom was just like “lol here you go bye now”.

She hated it at first because she had grown so used to Texas and the country and her friends and making sure her mom was okay that it gave her a lot of anxiety and stress but she actually fell in love with it? Made a lot of close friends, became a fan favorite of sorts and would you believe it, the dumbass fell in love.

This boy wormed his way into her heart and it was a kind of a slightly unstable relationship because she would try and push away from him and her feelings but he always drew her back? He even proposed after like months of them being together and she panicked and ran but still he drew her back and they agreed that they should chill with the idea of engagement/marriage? He ended up leaving the show after like their fourth messy break up? And she, would you believe it, followed. After this, Tessa returned to Texas and spent a solid week just out partying and drinking with friends and suddenly - BAM, she was having a one night stand with a complete stranger which was rather out of pocket for her and then even more suddenly - BAM, a pregnancy with no clue as to who the child’s father was. Thankfully it ended up being the one night stand’s and he turned out to be an incredible guy and father.

Obviously she never returned to the show and focused instead on becoming a mother and setting up a future for herself and her child.

Honestly Tessa needs some guy friends! Chaos friend but also mom friend rolled into one because she will get involved in shenanigans but will also call you out for acting dumb too.

Oooooh, these are really good guesses and I absolutely loved to read these. You’re right about Kiyoko, she’s functioning minus a couple years of really hesitant flirting (which her own friends mock her about). I didn’t include her on this list; but, she’d probably be pretty good. You’re dead on with three of these (Tsukishima being one of these). Also, lol, I love the buzzfeed unsolved reference. The 11-14 range literally is just the basic competency range, the rest are just varying degrees of disasters. Love ‘em.

Also a note for Anon-chan; I am the Wifey. I am in a rut with my writing at the moment; I don't know how to get my mojo back for writing threads or starters, but I know one person out of three that can make me had a burst was motivation and inspiration and that's Leo. They take the time to look through my blog, pick a muse and cater a starter to that muse. It's very rare I get that treatment and I know it's not expected whatsoever but it honestly makes me feel like the pressure is off my -

- shoulders in making choices / guesses to people I rp with who they want to rp with. Yes; I don’t have bios; that’s a choice I made and stick by. 10 kpop songs released in October 2018

1. iKON-Goodbye Road. When you make such a big hit as Love Scenario was, YG apparently lets you release as much music as you want. iKON released one last mini album this year and it’s great. Goodbye Road is an emotional break up song.

2. Super JuniorXReik-One more time(Otra vez). Super Junior came back once again with a latin song. This time they collabed with a mexican band called Reik. I was really hyped for this one after the teaser, the full song was good but maybe my expectations were so high that for me it was just ok. The mini album is definitely thought for latin fans and one of the songs is sung in full spanish. It’s a remake of a Luis Miguel hit song Ahora te puedes marchar

3. Loco ft. Colde-It takes time. Loco has been on fire this year and just by reading Loco and Colde in the same sentence I knew I would love this one.

4. IU-Bbibbi. Honestly I always have mixed feelings about IU’s music. I appreciate her sound most of the time but it’s always something similar to what I listen on daily basis on my indie playlist. Bbi bbi is no different. However the lyrics are really interesting and honest and that definitely got me. The corky MV represents the lyrics really well.

5. NCT 127-Regular. NCT 127 which is now 10 members made their US debut with this song. The english version feels awkward at least for me. Some of the lines you can’t really listen to the lyrics clearly and even if you do a couple of sentences just don’t make sense at all. So I would recommend skip the english version, listen to the korean version.

6. Zion.T ft Seulgi-Hello Tutorial. Loved this song and the concept of the MV. So unexpected Zion T. decided to have Seulgi as a feature. The MV has kind of Inside Out concept that really tells the story of the lyrics. Loved the album except for Hella Gang.

7. Moon ft. Dok2- Million. This song suprised me. I probably would’ve totally missed it except it was released under SMTOWN youtube channel. I didn’t know Moon but I checked it out because of Dok2 and they both are so good.

8. WendyxJohn Legend-Written in the stars. I always struggle to decide whether I should add songs to this list in another language even if they are from kpop artists. However since I loved this song so much I thought it was ok. To this day I still don’t understand why this song didn’t chart high on korean charts I mean is John Legend and Red Velvet’s Wendy, and the song is beautiful.

9. TVXQ-Jealous. I think this song is very TVXQ so even if it’s in japanese I thought I should add it to this list.

10. Hoody ft Crush-Sunshine. This is a interesting r&b song about just being happy with your significant other.

♥ it depends. sometimes if you give someone a second chance they'll take it and stab you with it (metaphorically). it all just depends on what they did, who they are, how they are, how they feel about what they did.

♥ i used to be super loud when i was younger. sometimes i am when with close friends. now, it could just be that i'm focused, or thinking, or comfortable, or sad, or sick, or upset. when i'm angry with my aunt bc she won't stop messing with me i'll go silent. idk.

On commitment to fun

(Might as well make it a tradition to write meta for Miyata's birthday, y/y?)

Do you ever sit and cry think about why Miyata is so hung up on fighting Ippo? I mean, apart from the fact that he's incredibly gay for him. The answer lies in their very first spar, way back when they were bbies.

At this point Miyata is 16 years old, and he's been training boxing since he was an adorable smol child with one goal in mind: to prove to the world that his father's boxing is great and can take you to the top.

And then they make him fight Ippo, a complete beginner, who proceeds to mostly flail in Miyata's direction and yet refuses to stay down, keeps coming at Miyata until Miyata defeats him with his ultimate weapon.

And Miyata comes out of their spar with this thought:

He had fun! Look, this is a guy who's been training for years, who's very serious business about boxing. But it's Ippo who made it fun and exciting.

Miyata gets a new motivation for training — another spar with Ippo, in three months time. And then he loses the match and leaves their gym, but it's not because he's angry or embarrassed. No, Miyata has a plan! I'm not saying it's a smart plan (god, am I not), but:

He upended his whole boxing life for an opportunity to fight Ippo again, in the pro ring this time. Look how excited he is at the prospect of having good boxing fun with Ippo! ;_; He wants something fun to look forward to in his pro career too.

So that's how Miyata ends up 16 and pregnant sworn to lifelong rivalry. Of course, Miyata thought he would get to fight his boyfriend again a lot sooner. He didn't know George is a cruel cockblock who will make him lose before they could meet in the Rookie Tournament.

But even then Miyata doesn't give up on his plan. Instead he embarks on a years long journey through faraway lands in order to catch up to his dream boy, and the thought of Ippo gets him through trying times.

Finally (after years and years and years) it looks like their match is going to happen and we get the blessed outsider POV of just how excited Miyata is for it:

He's so happy he smiled and willingly touched another person! It doesn't get better than that in Miyata-land.

Even when George strikes again and Miyata has to abandon his fated meeting with Ippo, he still can't let go of it and keeps waiting for his beloved. In addition, if he hears you talking shit about Ippo, he will fuck you up.

This last panel here may be my favourite panel of Miyata. He looks a little terrifying but mostly just deadly hot. And how fitting that is, since Ippo's probably hottest moment (aka Badass Stripping) was also all about protecting Miyata's honour.

Miyata will also seize every opportunity to talk about Ippo and show off his extensive knowledge.

After this he proceeds to talk at length about Ippo's many strengths, and ends with saying that his weakness is not so much a weakness as a strategy.

Let me be clear about what I'm saying here: as much as Ippo is a total Miyata fanboy, Miyata is exactly the same about Ippo. He would just rather die than make an embarrassing spectacle out of it.

After Ippo loses his match and any chance of them meeting anytime soon gets even more distant, Miyata pretty much loses the will to live. He just doesn't caaaare about anything or anyone else. I won't even paste these pages because it's honestly just so sad, wtf George. I know Miyata suffers prettily, but there should be some limits to what you'll put him through, god.

Thankfully Ippo's return fight seems to have reignited his spirit. I'm not sure how much of it is passion for boxing and how much is just regular thirst, but watching Miyata watch Ippo fight is borderline embarrassing, like can you two get a room already, omg.

So happy birthday, Miyata! May you get your fated meeting with Ippo (in another 10 years maybe, considering George's speed, sob). He better get it eventually, or so help me I will fly to Japan to punch George in the face.

5 facts about Darko

He has been living in the same cabin for over 10 years. Despite his friends mocking his place, he doesn’t seem to care about his living place.

Darko’s face and attitude in general appear to be indifferent, though he cares deeply for the ones who have been around for a long time as well as earned his trust in some way. Even though it may not be seen in his face and words.

The only thing he still has which may hint something about his "life” before taken in by an organization is his sword.

He was taken in by a hunter organization on the age of 10 and trained ever since.

Surprisingly, he seems to have a thing for cute looking things? As if he... Fane, a friend, would say: “Darko would want to be a smol cutie himself!”

I have something in the works for exploring this dynamic a little more, the dynamic between Sasuke, Itachi and Itachi's pups that is. Sasuke has just turned 12 when Itachi gets married (Itachi is around 18), and Itachi gets pregnant on his honeymoon, so Sasuke is still 12 when Itachi's oldest pup is a newborn. I have so many ideas for this!!
