summary: y/n, basilio and crispin's sister, just experienced her first break-up.
warnings: some improper shifts in tenses <\3 rlly rusty at writing already aaaa. but nonetheless this fic is very fluffy! i apologize in advance for any grammatical errors you may notice, i didn't proofread this :(
yes, i kinda made alexandra fluffy too.
—♡—
"Good Morning, guys!" Basilio turned around to see his brother, Crispin, with a huge smile plastered on his face.
Basilio rolled his eyes, "Anong 'Good Morning'? Mag tatanghali na, di ka man lang nag linis!" (What do you mean 'Good Morning'? It's almost afternoon, you didn't even clean!) He playfully hit the older's head.
"Aray ko!" (Ouch!) Crispin winced and rubbed the spot his brother hit. Alexandra walks in the room with a cup of coffee in her hand. "Basilio, Mag sorry ka sa Kuya mo." (Basilio, apologize to your brother.) Basilio scoffs, "Sorry, Kuya."
They all gathered in the dining room for lunch. Well, brunch for Crispin. "Where's Y/N?" Alexandra asks, looking at the empty chair beside her. Clearly, the chair looked like it had been empty since last night. The twins stare at each other, then both at Alexandra.
"Diba may pinuntahan siya kagabi?" (Didn't she go out last night?) Alexandra mentions.
The twins both shake their head.
"Hindi niyo alam?" (You guys don't know?)
They shake their heads again.
Without a single word, the three exchanged looks and immediately stood up from their seats, rushing upstairs to Y/N's room.
Alexandra pushed the twins aside and pushed the key into the doorknob, then revealing a dishevled, puffy-eyed Y/N. The twins panicked. It was their first time seeing their beloved sister like this.
Meanwhile, Alexandra investigated her room. Y/N's things were on the floor, messed up sheets, and a broken necklace. She then looks over to Y/N. Still in her clothes, puffy-eyed, and her makeup was smuged. Alexandra already had an idea.
The twins shook her awake, "Y/N!, Y/N!— Gising na!" (Y/N, Y/N— Wake up!) With their loud voices and aggressive shaking, their sister finally woke up.
Immediately, Y/N's head started to pound— it was the alcohol she drank last night. She opened her eyes and saw Alexandra and her brothers. Upon seeing them, she bursted into tears.
—
A few months ago, Y/N dated this guy in her class. She hid this from Alexandra, most especially her brothers because she knew that they would beat her ass.
Alexandra found out about her relationship when she was about to fetch her from school. Hank and the twins were at home, sleeping their asses off after their mission.
Parked outside of Y/N's school, Alexandra was waiting for almost 30 minutes. Usually, Y/N would come out a few minutes after her dismissal— but these past few months have been different. After a few more minutes of waiting, she finally saw Y/N— with someone else.
Y/N was holding hands with a boy around 5'10 in height. They were laughing and they looked very sweet. The boy gave her a peck and she playfully pushed him away, then waving goodbye since she spotted the car.
Hank usually fetched Y/N from school, and she knew that Hank didn't really care about her relationship, so she really didn't feel embarrased whenever she entered the car.
Upon entering the car, she expected Hank to greet her. But she was greeted with Alexandra's voice.
"Boyfriend mo?" (Your boyfriend?) Alexandra looks over to her, and Y/N froze. Her first reaction was to lie about it. "Ha? H-Hindi, Ate! Friends lang kami.." (Huh? N-No! We're just friends..) Embarrased, Y/N tried to make herself busy by pretending to fix something in her bag to keep her distracted.
"Anong friends? Hinalikan ka niya, ah." (What do you mean friends? He kissed you.) She mentions.
"Ah.. Eh.." Y/N struggles to keep her words out. It was very evident.
"Sige na, di naman ako magagalit. Di ko sasabihin sa mga Kuya mo, sikreto lang natin." (It's okay, I won't get mad. I won't tell your brothers, it'll be our secret.)
"Oo.. Boyfriend ko siya, Ate. Malapit na kami mag 6 months." (Yes.. He's my boyfriend, Ate. We've been together for almost 6 months.)
From that day on, Y/N would always tell Alexandra about how her relationship was going. And though Alexandra has never had any romantical partners, she tries her best to give Y/N advice.
—
Tiptoe-ing her way downstairs, Y/N was dressed in her clothes to leave the house, on the way to party with her friends and her boyfriend, Jerome.
She checked her phone, 12:47 AM.
Everyone was most likely asleep at this hour, or so she thought.
"Oh, san ka papunta at ganyan suot mo?" (Hey, where are you going and why are you wearing that?) Y/N jolted and turned around to see Alexandra sitting on the dining table.
"Ah.. Ate.. Kasi may p-party kaming pupuntahan nila Aira.." (Ah... There's this p-party I'm going to with Aira..)
"Sina Aira lang ba? O kasama yung boyfriend mo?" (Is it just Aira? Or your boyfriend is going too?) Alexandra tilted her head in question.
"...Kasama po si Jerome." (...Jerome is coming too.)
Alexandra nodded, signalling her that it was okay for her, as an Ate, to go. "Sige, doble ingat ka, okay? Eto, dalhin mo to." (Be extra careful, okay? Here, bring this.) Alexandra pulls out a self defense keychain from her pocket and throws it at Y/N's direction. "May alarm diyan. If you're in any danger, pindutin mo yung alarm and malalaman ko location mo, pupuntahan kita kaagad." (There's an alarm there. If you're in any danger, press that alarm and I'll be able to know your location, then I'll come and get you.)
"Thanks, Ate! Mag iingat ako. Love you!" (Thanks, Ate! I'll take care. Love you!) Y/N smiled and hugged Alexandra.
Little did she know, Y/N's smile wouldn't last very long.
That night, Y/N saw her boyfriend kissing another girl across the room. She confronted him and he admitted that he had been cheating on her for the past few months. Y/N didn't know what to feel. She didn't wanna call Alexandra because she knew that she would be asleep by now. She didn't wanna talk to her friends either, so she went home.
Once she arrived home, she didn't bother to change or shower. She was so tired. Her body fell on the bed and she instantly cried. sobbing against her pillows to muffle her tears.
—
Basilio and Crispin were clueless about as to why their sister was crying. They consoled her for a few minutes until Alexandra spoke.
"Basilio, Crispin— mag usap tayo sa labas." (Basilio, Crispin— let's talk outside.) Alexandra left the room and waited for the twins to leave as well. Once they left the room, she shut the door.
The twins looked worried— well, afraid, rather.
"May sikreto kaming itinatago ni Y/N sa inyong dalawa.." (Y/N and I have a secret we've been keeping from the both of you..) Alexandra starts off.
"Ano yun, Bossing?" (What is it, Bossing?) The twins replied, obviously curious.
Alexandra knew that if she told the twins, their reaction wouldn't be as violent if it was Y/N who would be telling it instead.
"May boyfriend si Y/N." (Y/N has a boyfriend.)
The twins both drop their jaws, "Ano?!" (What?!) Basilio slaps his hand over his mouth, while Crispin is in complete shock. "Kelan pa, Bossing?" (Since when, Bossing?) Basilio asks with a hint of anger in his voice.
"2 months ago niya sinabi sakin.. Siguro 8 months silang mag jowa." (She told me 2 months ago.. Maybe they've been together for around 8 months.)
"Tangina naman!" (Motherfucker!) Crispin throws a punch to the nearest wall. Alexandra has never seen the twins react like this, especially Crispin.
There was a moment of silence.
"Nahuli ko siyang tumatakas kaninang 12, nag paalam sakin na may pupuntahan na party, kasama boyfriend niya." (I caught her sneaking out earlier at 12, she asked my permission if she could go to a party with her boyfriend.)
"Bat di niyo kami ginising, bossing?" (Why didn't you wake us up, Bossing?) Basilio sighs, "Ayaw niya na malaman nyo na may boyfriend siya, kasi alam niya na magagalit kayo." (She didn't want you guys to find out that she had a boyfriend, because she knew that you guys would get mad.)
"Malamang, bunso namin 'yan eh! Alangan naman pabayaan namin 'yan diba? Eh hindi pa nga namin kilala boyfriend nyan!" (Of course we would get mad, she's our baby sister! Do you think we'd let her get away just like that? We haven't even met her boyfriend yet!" Crispin rambles.
"Mabait naman yung boyfriend niya." (Her boyfriend is kind.) Alexandra defends, "Bossing, 'di naman po yun sapat para ma kumbinsi nyo po kami na pwede po siya magkajowa.." (Bossing, that isn't a sufficient reason to convince us that it's okay for her to have a boyfriend..) Basilio says calmly, but deep down? He was screaming.
Alexandra ignores Basilio's statement, "Ano naman kinaiiyakan niya?" (What is she crying about?) Crispin managed to say despite the emotions he felt about the situation. Alexandra lets out a sigh, "Nag break na siguro sila." (Maybe they broke up.)
"Tangina, sabi ko na nga ba eh." (I fucking knew it.) Crispin mumbles under his breath, while running his fingers through his hair out of frustration.
"Yung sirang necklace na nasa sahig kanina, bigay yun ng boyfriend niya sa kanya. Hula ko, sinira niya kasi break na sila." (The broken necklace on the floor, her boyfriend gave that to her. My guess is that she broke it because they broke up.)
"Anong gagawin natin, Bossing?" (What are we going to do, Bossing?) Basilio asks her, desperate for a solution.
Alexandra wasn't the type to arrange surprises, so she had to think fast.
"Basilio, bumili ka ng Jollibee. Tapos ikaw Crispin, bumili ka ng ice cream. Yung favorite flavor niya ah?" (Basilio, go buy some Jollibee. Then you Crispin, buy some ice cream. Her favorite flavor okay?) Alexandra commands. Even in this situation, the twins had no choice to obey. "Sige po, bossing." (Yes, bossing.) They replied with no hesitation.
—
Crispin was the first one to come back with the ice cream, since the sari-sari store was just by the corner of their street. Obviously, Basilio took the longest— he had to take a tricycle to the nearest Jollibee.
After a few minutes, Basilio arrived with 2 bags of Jollibee. "Antagal mo naman, natunaw na yung ice cream." (Took you long enough, the ice cream already melted.) Crispin complains, rolling his eyes playfully.
"Bat di mo nilagay sa freezer? Parang timang 'to eh." (Why didn't you put it in the freezer? What a dumbass.) Basilo replies, settling the food on the table. Alexandra enters the room, "Andito na pala kayo. Halika na." (You guys are already here. Let's go.)
"Ano bang gagawin natin, bossing?" (What are we going to do anyway, bossing?) Basilio scratches his head out of confusion. "Malamang isusurprise natin." (Of course we're gonna surprise her.) Crispin replies sarcastically. He was still mad about what happened.
The trio went upstairs, Basilio and Crispin carrying the ice cream and Jollibee. Alexandra knocked on Y/N's door. "Bunso?" She says in a loving voice. No reply on the other side of the room. Maybe she went back to sleep again. "Papasok kami ng mga kuya mo ah?" (Your brothers and I will enter okay?) Alexandra turns the doorknob open.
Y/N turns around to see her Ate and Kuyas enter her room quietly, "Ate Alex.." She croaks out, "May dala kami ng mga kuya mo para sayo.." (Your brothers and I brought some food for you..) Alexandra gestures to the food that the twins bought. Y/N sits up from her current position, rubbing her eyes.
Basilio frowns and sets the food on her study table, then sitting beside her on the bed. "Halika nga.." (Come here..) Basilio takes his beloved sister into his arms, caressing her back to calm her sobs. "K-Kuy-ya.." She manages to say inbetween sobs, but Basilio hushes her and rocks her softly.
Alexandra elbows Crispin, who is still standing by the door. "Alam kong galit ka sa amin, pero yakapin mo naman kapatid mo." (I know that you're mad at the both of us, but go hug your sister.) Crispin realizes this and sighs. He walks over to Y/N and Basilio, who are both still locked in an embrace. Y/N felt the other side of the bed sink, she pulls herself away from the hug and turns to face Crispin.
Crispin had a disappointed yet concerned look on his face. Without any words, he pulls her into his chest, enveloping her into a hug. Y/N was sobbing like crazy. Her brothers have never seen her like this, ever. They didn't know how to react. They tried to calm her down— Crispin was still hugging her, caressing her back, while Basilio brushed her hair.
Alexandra sat on the farther edge of the bed, giving the siblings their space. Once Y/N calmed down, Alexandra spoke. "Gusto mo ba ikwento samin yung nangyari..?" (Are you comfortable telling us about what happened..?)
Y/N wipes her tears, "Nakita ko si Jerome na may ka halikan na iba-a.. T-ta—" (I saw Jerome kissing someone else-e.. T-th—) She sobs, unable to form her sentence properly.
Basilio caresses her back to help her calm down, "Dahan-dahan lang, bunso.. Hinga ka lang.." (Slowly, bunso.. Just breathe..)
Crispin frowns, "—Tapos kinausap ko siya sa labas nung venue.. Matagal na daw siyang nag ch-cheat sa akin.." (—Then I talked to him outside.. He's been cheating on me for a long t-time..)
Crispin's eyes almost bulged out of his eye sockets out of shock, Basilio's mouth hung open, and Alexandra's eyebrows raised.
"Ha?!?" The three said.
Y/N nodded hesitantly.
"Aba tangina pala ng Jerome na yan eh! Ano ba itsura nyan?" (Well fuck that son of a bitch Jerome! What does he even look like?) Crispin retorts, Alexandra grabs Y/N's phone from the floor and hands it to her. Y/N searches for a somewhat decent picture of her now ex-boyfriend on her phone, and once she did, she showed her brothers.
Jerome wasn't too good looking, he wasn't too bad looking either. He was okay— or saks lang, some would say.
"Panget naman niyan, panget din siguro ka bonding." (He's ugly, he probably isn't fun to bond with.) Basilio jokes, "Gago oo nga, ang panget. Mas pogi pa kami ng kuya mo diyan eh! Masaya pa kami ka bonding." (Damn, he is ugly. Your brother and I are more handsome than that guy! We're fun to bond with too.) Crispin strikes a pose, which made his sister smile.
Alexandra looks at the picture, then giving a disapproving look at her. "Ang panget nga. Pumangit ba siya? Di naman ganyan itsura nyan nung nakita ko." (I agree, he is ugly. Did he get uglier? He didn't look like that when I met him.) The three siblings laugh.
"Uuuy, ngumiti na siya! Yieee!" (Ooo, she's smiling!) Basilio teases her, poking her side. Crispin joins in and starts tickling her side and neck. Y/N tried to hide her laughter, but she failed. "Kuya Crispin— Kuya Basilio! Tama na!" (Kuya Crispin— Kuya Basilio! Stop it!) She giggles, then Basilio and Crispin finally stop.
"Halika na, kain na tayo ng Jollibee! May ice cream din!" (Come, let's eat Jollibee! There's ice cream too!) Basilio stands up to get the food from her table, Crispin and Alexandra help him set up the food.
"Nood tayo ng movie!" (Let's watch a movie!) Y/N suggests, Crispin and Basilio agreeing. "Anong movie, bunso?" (What movie, bunso?) Basilio asks, "Horror nalang." (Let's watch horror.) Y/N flashes a devilish smirk, because she knew that her brothers were afraid.
Alexandra walks over to her and gives her food, then sitting beside her. "Thank you, Ate!" Y/N flashes Alexandra a smile. The twins follow after Alexandra, sitting on the farther end of the bed with their food in hand.
Y/N turns on the TV to find a horror movie to watch, then she clicks on a random one just for fun. "Ano plot neto?" (What's the plot of this movie?) Basilio says while chewing, "Ewan ko Kuya.. Kinlick ko lang yan eh." (I don't know, Kuya. I just clicked on it.) Y/N shrugs, eating a spoonful of rice.
—
The rest of the day went great. After the movie, the trio stayed in Y/N's room all day. They played games, watched weird documentaries, and karaoke.
"Happy ka na?" (Are you happy now?) Alexandra asks Y/N as they watched the twins sing a duet.
Y/N smiled. At that moment, she realized that she was more than thankful to have two crazy twin brothers, and a sister that would always be there for her.
"Yup, Happy na ako. Thank you, Ate." (Yup, I'm happy now. Thank you, Ate.)

Early on in Baz Luhrmann's bio-pic-fantasia "Elvis," we learn that the young King, growing up dirt poor outside of Memphis, was a huge fan of the Captain Marvel comics. Seems suitable, given this early series (no relation to Marvel's version) depicted a boy who could utter a magic word and turn into a superhero.
As Luhrmann depicts him, Elvis (Austin Butler) was himself, perennially this young boy with seeming super powers, while always in need of parenting and guidance from adults. First, from his beloved ma (here played by Helen Thomson), and later, from the coiling tentacles of one Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks), an undocumented immigrant from the Netherlands, who got his hooks into the burgeoning teen star early, signed him to a ludicrous contract in which he received 50% of Elvis' earnings, and kept riding his show pony into the ground the rest of Elvis' erratic career.

RED ICE - Ch 16
Characters: Connor x Reader, Hank, Gavin
Warnings: Death of a loved one, Smut
Words: 2,616
RED ICE Masterlist
You took in a deep shuddering breath, trying to breathe, trying to pull any amount of oxygen into your body. The front door opened and Connor was quickly at your side his arms replacing Gavin’s around you. He was holding your cell phone.
“What-” you sniffled and wiped at your eyes. “What’s wrong?” you asked him. Of course you’d want to know what was going on with Connor, despite the turmoil you were in right now.
The android kissed you on the cheek and offered you the phone.
“It’s your father.”
Chapter Sixteen - Why is Everything so Heavy?
They found his body hanging from a stoplight in, the word TRAITOR carved into his bare chest. His eyes were missing and when they cut the strings that held his mouth closed, they discovered that his tongue had been cut out as well. There was a roll of paper where it should have been that read “No one leaves”.
This was Viselli’s signature, or at the very least, the signature that his men use when he sends them to murder anyone who tries to get out from under him. Viselli likes to ensure that everyone who works for him knows that the only way out is in a body bag.
The murder case was transferred to the FBI and your parents were informed of your brother’s unfortunate demise. It had been your father who called to tell you the bad news, and at the worst possible time, too. You’d spoken with him on the phone only briefly, just long enough for him to tell you that Colt was dead, and then you cried and cried and cried into Connor’s shoulder. He, Gavin, and Hank were all there for you, making sure you got the love and comfort you so desperately needed as well as water to keep you hydrated.
When you finally had no more tears to shed, your throat was raw, and your eyes were bloodshot and drooping with exhaustion, you were able to tell Connor what had happened and that your family had no intention of holding any sort of funeral or memorial service for their disappointment of a son. That meant that the responsibility of providing your beloved brother with a proper funeral fell on your already heavy shoulders. Luckily, you weren’t alone. Hank didn’t hesitate to offer his assistance, followed quickly by Gavin and Connor. You were in enough pain as it was; you didn’t need to deal with the stresses of funeral planning right now.
And so you let your friends do it for you.
Sunday, March 13, 2039 // 1:04pm // Highland Cemetery
A gentle snow fell from a clouded grey sky, the soft icicles sticking to your hair and lashes. Gnarled trees were dotted here and there, their bare branches reaching in all directions. They stood like sentinels over the sea of gravestones. A chill late-winter breeze whispered through the cemetery and you shivered. Connor held you close to him with an arm around your waist, trying to provide comfort and warmth in this trying time.
While the FBI took a week to examine your brother’s body for evidence, Hank was busy planning his funeral. He and Gavin had both taken time off, despite Fowler’s disagreement, in order to help you through what was most likely the worst time of your life.
You had become distant, pushing your friends away when they tried to offer comfort. Not even Connor could get through to you when you decided to close yourself off. This prompted Hank to try and explain grief to Connor. The android began to understand as soon as his friend compared it to the fear he felt when he woke in the burn unit’s observation room to find you missing. He thought you’d died. Once the fear subsided, it was replaced with emptiness. He was sure that was what you were feeling, or rather, not feeling right now. Empty. Hollow.
Connor looked at the beautiful casket before him, the dark ebony of the wood in stark contrast to the blanket of white snow it sat upon. The casket was closed. You’d insisted on seeing your brother, but when Hank informed Connor of the state he was in, the android had refused. He didn’t want your last memory of your only blood sibling to be tainted by empty eye sockets and a marred up chest.
You were staring blankly at the hole that the casket was sitting next to, unseeing as those gathered stood in a peaceful, respectful silence around you. Not that there were very many gathered at all; it was just Hank, Connor, and Gavin. Fowler pulled their police escorts when they went against his wishes and flew to Wyoming to attend your brother’s funeral. Clearly, he didn’t care if his detectives got shot by Viselli’s men. But then again, why would he? He’s Viselli’s mole.
Connor rubbed circles on your waist to try and get your attention.
“Would you like to say a few words?” he asked, voice deafening in the silence of the winter scene.
You shook your head. You hadn’t spoken in nearly three days. Why would you now? After another few moments of silence, a heavy sigh escaped your lips and you turned your attention to the somber pallbearers. With a reluctant nod, you signaled for them to lower your brother down into his grave. You watched with tearless eyes as the men did their job and the black casket disappeared down into the earth.
You weren’t crying. You had no more tears to shed. You were just numb.
Shrugging out of Connor’s grasp, you turned to leave. The android caught your arm, then intertwined his fingers with yours.
“Please don’t push me away,” he whispered.
Thankfully, you didn’t pull away from him, but instead let him once again wrap an arm around your waist and lead you to your rented car.
“You two goin’ back to the hotel?” Hank asked, and Connor turned to see his friend behind him, looking rather downcast. You had already ducked into the passenger’s seat and closed your door. Connor nodded in response. “Alright. I’m gonna go find a bar,” the Lieutenant said as he made his way toward his own rented vehicle.
“I’ll go with him. Make sure he gets back to the hotel safely later,” Gavin chimed in.
Connor nodded and Reed clapped him gently on the shoulder before he hopped in Hank’s car.
You slid your keycard into the slot on your hotel room door, then pushed it open and stepped inside. Connor took your coat and you kicked off your shoes. Then, you just stood there in the middle of the room, queen-sized bed to your right, television to your left.
“We were gonna meet, you know,” you said quietly and Connor came up behind you to wrap his arms around your waist, resting his chin on your shoulder. “I told him to wait. I told him not to try and get away. He didn’t listen. He never listens…”
You twisted around in Connor’s grasp and returned the hug, burying your face in the crook of his neck.
“I don’t know what I would have done without you guys,” you whispered, then kissed his neck, as soft as a butterfly’s wing. “I couldn’t have done any of this on my own.” Another soft kiss was placed an inch above the first. “My parents are lowlifes, disowning Colt like that. He was just trying to make it in a world that doesn’t favor anyone.” Your hand snaked around to Connor’s front and you nimbly loosened his tie.
He knew what you were doing. His LED flashed yellow as he commanded the speaker in the corner to play music, and suddenly a soft melody was drifting through the warm air of the hotel room.
“Are you sure you want this?” he asked. “You’re in a very emotional state right now. I don’t want to do anything that you’re going to regret later.”
You removed your head from his neck and brought your lips to his, kissing him softly and slowly as you pulled his tie from his neck.
“To be honest,” you said, pulling back. “I’m surprised we haven’t done this already.”
“As long as you’re sure,” the android replied, fingers pulling down the zipper on the back of your dress.
The kiss you shared now wasn’t like the ones you’d shared before. Before, they were hungry, passionate, possessive. Now, you kissed Connor slowly and sweetly, and if he didn’t know any better, he might think you were made of vanilla and cinnamon.
“I can feel…” you breathed as his kisses moved to your jaw. “...you. I can feel you.”
He slipped your dress from your shoulders and pulled it slowly down your body, kissing and touching as he went. Wherever his fingers or lips found your skin, the synthetic material retracted, allowing the white plastic underneath to peek through.
“Connor, I-”
The android looked up when he reached your hips, kissing your stomach just above the waistband of your panties. Your eyes were closed, brows furrowed.
“Are you not enjoying this?” he asked.
“No, I- I can feel you,” you repeated.
He helped you step out of your dress and rose to stand before you once more. Your top half was bare before him and he trailed his fingers over your collarbones, watching as your skin fled from his fingertips and then returned when they moved on.
“Tell me,” Connor said, bringing your right hand up to his lips so that he could pepper kisses along your knuckles.
“What do you feel?” he asked.
Your eyes were still closed, but the crease between your brow was replaced by a soft smile as you reached up with your prosthetic arm to undo the buttons on his dress shirt.
“Love,” was your reply, and a stray tear found its way past your eyelids and down your cheek. The android kissed it, tasting the salt of the fragile tear on his tongue.
Connor knew what you were talking about. He had been talking with Kamski before you had woken up, and the android was given a theory that he didn’t get the chance to ask about. Now, he had his answer. Every ghosting touch of his fingertips, every kiss… he could feel you. Not just physically, but deeper than that. He could feel your emotions. He could feel your pain and your sorrow, your grief, your confusion, your distress… your love. Each touch offered him a new emotion. Your emotion. He wasn’t just feeling you physically. He was feeling you on a level deeper than he ever thought possible.
The android shrugged his jacket off and let it fall to the floor. You pulled his dress shirt off, tossing it into the pile. You watched in awe as you ran your fingers over his chest, the skin disappearing and reappearing. You closed your eyes once more as you explored his body and he did the same to yours.
“I need you, Connor,” you whispered into the crook of his neck.
He didn’t hesitate to guide you over to the bed and push you gently down onto it. He needed you just as much as you needed him. He undid his belt and trousers and slid them and his boxers off, leaving him bare before your gaze. You reached your prosthetic hand out to him and he took it, twisting your fingers together as his other hand slid your panties down your legs.
He crawled on top of you, lips finding yours eagerly as he pinned your hand beside your head, white plastic on white plastic. You wrapped your legs around his hips as he nestled in between them, his member finding a comfortable place between your already slick folds. You trailed your fingers gingerly up and down his back, and he did his best to think about how much he loves you with the hope that you would be able to feel it in your fingertips.
He rocked gently forward and you let out a breathy sigh as your head fell back. He kissed down your neck and along your collarbone, then nibbled at your pulse point. Your heart was racing and all of the desire you felt for him in that moment was transferred through your hands, still grasped firmly together. It served to drive him forward, knowing how badly you wanted him in this moment.
“I love you Connor,” you whispered as his cockhead brushed over your clit and you arched your back.
His free hand was roaming all over your body, feeling everything that he possibly could. “I love you too. You have no idea how much I love you.”
He slid his fingers down your leg, unwrapping it from around his waist to grant him access to what space was left between your bodies. His length was coated in your slick and he played at your entrance with his cockhead before you whined at him to stop teasing you. With a smile, he inserted himself inside you, only the first inch or two, and began shallow thrusts to ready you as his thumb circled around your clit.
He could feel your need, your passion. Slowly, he leaned forward, burying himself inside of you as his lips connected with yours once more. He moaned into your mouth, the feeling of your walls hugging his cock unlike anything he’d ever experienced before. You were warm and soft and he wanted nothing more than to stay like this for the rest of eternity, until all the stars in the sky died out and there was nothing left of the earth.
The soft kiss became hungrier as Connor began to thrust into you, bottoming out. He lifted your hips in an effort to hit your sweet spot. From the soft moans of pleasure escaping past your lips to be swallowed up by the kiss and the feel of your lust beneath his fingertips, he guessed he was doing a good job at pleasing you.
Finally, he released the hand that he’d had pinned beside your head to knead at your breast. You groaned and squirmed beneath him. Your touch gave away how close you were. When you were like this, interfacing with one another in such a way, he was able to read you like an open book.
He felt everything.
Your desire was his desire. Your love, his love, your pain, his pain.
A tear slipped down his cheek as he kissed you hard, tongues dancing together inside your mouths. You were hurting, and you needed him to help take away the pain, even if for only a moment. A wave of sorrow washed over him as you felt fresh grief at the loss of your brother. Connor was stronger than you right now, however, and he was able to replace the pain with love.
He could feel your climax coming fast and his was soon to follow. He shifted his position, still holding your hips up, and was finally able to hit that spot deep inside of you that had you coming undone. You came with a loud gasp followed by a long, low moan as your body shuddered and twitched. The muscles in your abdomen contracted and you curled into Connor. He held you tight as he allowed himself his own release, the feel of your walls squeezing around his member enough to make him boil over.
Artificial seed spilled from his cock as he twitched inside of you, each movement making you spasm and moan. It was a surreal experience - completely unprecedented. Not only did he get to feel his own climax, but yours as well. It was almost too much for the poor android to bear and he collapsed on top of you. You were breathing heavily as you came down from your high, clutching him close. No words were exchanged as you lay there, simply reveling in the feel of your bodies pressed together. In this moment, you were connected to each other in a way that no two humans could ever connect. You could feel each other in a way no one else could. Your emotion was his. His emotion was yours.
In this moment, you were one.

Actor au (magazine)
N/A: Uh, why not? May as well do something. I think anyone could write better stuff than canon Marvel.
@djinmer4 @dannybagpipesarecalling @discordsworld @look-ma-no-hands336
The next day, the media has been placated by the incident of the poisoned food. A new Chef was hired asap(it was recommended from one of the higher up of the Hotel and Kurt´s agent) and everything seems to went alright.
It´s Saturday and Kurt is not sure how to do this event anymore, the cameras still flash where he goes, his agent manages to back them off, and for a few moments, Kurt has a moment to breathe and think. His first instinct is to call Hank MCcoy.
“Dr MCcoy, how can I know I like someone?” Kurt asked desperately and Dr MCcoy is very patient and his Scottish accent is tranquillizing his fanatical state. “Kurt, we talk about this before, you can´t think your feelings are a curse, now, all I ask for you is to have a good head on your shoulder. The fact you haven´t done anything with this lady is huge progress and I´m proud of you”
Kurt smiles at that. Happy to know he´s not the same man from 3 years ago.
“You meet her for almost 48 hours? She may be a pleasant woman, but, still don´t do anything risky. Now, if you want to continue to know this woman, by all means, go. You deserve to be happy, Kurt, all I ask is for you to not jump the shark” Kurt chuckles at that and nods.
“That I can do, thanks Dr MCcoy”
“Anytime, Kurt” and the conversation ends in a peaceful note. Kurt can do this. He´s not the same man as 3 years ago.
At breakfast, Kitty saw a magazine with Kurt´s photo. The photo is surrounded by hearts as headlines are trying to guess who is his lady love. The magazine is old, the fact they are mentioned who will be the director of the Blue pirate is proof enough.
The magazine caught her attention as there are many photos of Kurt in a club with women, by the looks of, those women were planning to have a big night. She noticed his haircut, the douchbag persona and wonder what´s going on behind those photos.
“Katzchen?” Kurt asked now getting pale noticing the photos. “Oh, you saw it?”
“That you like bars and parties yes” Kitty stated and blinks noticing his look “hey, is not shameful, everyone likes a party, even me. Is ok”
“Is not only that….I was in a bad phase 3 years ago” Kurt confessed and shakes his head “hey, is that Mutant teen cover?” speaks noticing the magazine´s title for the first time.
“Oh, yes, I saw on the lounge and wanted to see more of you” she jokes a little but adds “if you want I can turn down and never look at this magazine again. Gossip magazines are not good.” Kitty assured him nicely.
“I sued them” Kurt explained now holding his neck “ 3 years ago, I go a crazy stalker after me who worked for that magazine she takes pictures of me in ...many particular moments” Kurt now confessed feeling ashamed.
Kitty can´t even imagine what´s like to be stalked. She did take his hand and try to comfort him the best she can. “thank you for telling me this. Now, I won´t ever read this magazine again. And you´re safer, elf, I promise” she then flexes her arms “I´m pretty strong myself”
Kurt laughs amused and thanks her for such bravery.
Meanwhile, Mara is taking pictures. Her nice boyfriend let she stays in the reception(annexed to the lounge where Kurt is) as long she does not bother the other workers and tourists.
Mara is silently taking pictures of her beloved and she needs to take Kitty out of the picture. Her future with Kurt depends on it.

If you love Anthony Carrigan you should support his show he stars in on HBO’s “Barry” (RATED MA)
He plays a mobster’s right hand man and his character (Noho Hank) is an absolute delight and the show is amazing!
“Barry is a disillusioned hitman from the Midwest. His handler, Fuches, sends him to LA to execute a hit for the Chechen mob, led by Goran Pazar and his right-hand man, NoHo Hank. Barry’s target: an aspiring actor who is having an affair with Pazar’s wife. Barry follows his “mark” into an acting class taught by beloved teacher/guru Gene Cousineau, and is instantly drawn to the group of students, especially Sally. Barry wants to start a new life in the class, but the criminal world won’t let him walk away so easily. (HBO)”
Anthony is incredibly proud of this project so if you have some time, give it a watch!
It airs Sundays at 10:30pm EST on HBO!

They're perfect!!! I really love them, they're so cute! Thank you so much.
Hey I saw some of your icons and I really love them. They're so cool and adorable.
I wanted to ask if it's possible to make some for Hank McCoy/Beast. It would be great if one of them could be based of the Kelsey Grammer's version from the OG movies and the other one from his MCU cameo in the Marvels?
And if it's possible to ask for three: I don't know if you're also doing them based on the comics, but if you do, could you maybe also do a feline Hank? But really only if it's not too much to ask.
The icons are so simplistic in design I wasn't sure how to give Kelsey Grammer specifically, but I hope you still like it

ED’s 2020 Oscar Nomination Predictions – The Actors
Listen, I’ve been analyzing and making Oscar predictions for almost 20 years now, and just because I’m no longer considered worthy of being a Gold Derby expert, that’s really just their loss, because I still plan on covering the Oscars whenever and however I can.
I don’t have to go further down into the well of this expanded season and how we’re still nearly three months away from knowing the Oscar winners. I’ll just start with the actors, as the title might suggest, since I feel it might be easier to cover those four categories then getting into all the nitty gritty that goes into some of the other above the line categories. (And you just know I’ll cover any of the artisan and technical categories over at Below the Line.)
What’s always interesting about the performances that get attention is that they often follow very similar routes, and sometimes, a good actor gains momentum from having a great script or even a good make-up and hair team.
LEAD ACTOR
I feel that every year, this tends to be a crowded field, and maybe more this year than ever, but it tells you how many movies are still being led by men, and that’s not just in front of the camera but also behind it.
Kingsley Ben-Adir - One Night in Miami There’s a little confusion about which category this talented and still relatively unknown British actor playing Malcolm X in Regina King’s historical drama should be placed, which is only going to be compounded by the Golden Globes and SAG nominations. Ben-Adir is indeed great in the role, giving us a very different take on the black activist then Denzel Washington’s performance in Spike Lee’s movie, but by being put in lead means he’s facing much tougher competition, including…
Chadwick Boseman - Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom
The late Black Panther actor tragically died last year leaving us with two final performances in Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloodsand George C. Wolfe’s adaptation of August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. The latter is where he’s likely to get the nomination (and many think the win) because his role as the brash trumpet-player Levee who butts heads with the title character, played by Viola Davis, makes the movie so unforgettable. It seems likely that the Academy might want to honor Boseman with a posthumous Oscar, and his performance here is good enough that it won’t seem like a token if they award the Oscar to Boseman.
Riz Ahmed - Sound of Metal
Ahmed is an actor who has been getting more attention with every role from starring opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler to his starring role in the HBO limited series The Night Of, for which he won an Emmy and was nominated for a Golden Globe. His role as a metal drummer losing his hearing in Darius Marder’s drama shows another side to the actor who really goes to some extremes in terms of emotions. It’s a fantastic performance that almost guarantees him a nomination, and we’ll have to see if Amazon Studios has the clout to move him into the frontrunner’s field.
Anthony Hopkins - The Father
Based on his own stage play, Florian Zeller’s drama about a man suffering from dementia, played by Hopkins, has all the elements and backing that could get Hopkin his second Oscar nomination in a row after last year’s The Two Popes. Personally, I wasn’t too big a fan of the movie, and though Julianne Moore finally won her Oscar by playing a woman with dementia, I’m not sure this is that great a role for Hopkins, so best he might do is get another nomination.
Delroy Lindo - Da 5 Bloods
That brings us to another actor who has been gaining much respect from his peers over the past few decades and whose starring role in Spike Lee’s latest movie has been gaining him new respect among the critics. One of the top critics group, the New York Film Critics Circle gave Lindon their top award, as did the National Society of Film Critics, as did Boston and Philly. That’s a lot of clout right there, which will help the Netflix film get a lot more traction.
Gary Oldman - Mank
One of the performances expected to be front and center during Oscar season is the Oscar-winner’s latest real-life portrayal, having won that Oscar for playing Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour a few years back. This time, he plays classic Hollywood screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz who fights alcoholism and Hollywood critics as he co-writes Orson Welles’ 1941 film, Citizen Kane. Besides being about old-time Hollywood and a classic film – which plays well to the ego of Oscar voter -- Mank also teams Oldman with director David Fincher, who has directed probably half a dozen or more actors to an Oscar nomination. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Mank is getting as much love from the critics some expected and that could ultimately hurt the movie if it doesn’t connect with the industry people it portrays, although Oldman has a good chance at sneaking into nominations.
Stanley Tucci and Colin Firth – Supernova
Two brilliant performances come from the previous winner Firth and the one-time nominee Tucci, who play long-time lovers dealing with the latter’s terminal cancer in Harry Macqueen’s well-reviewed drama. The movie missed out on getting any critical love, so it’s really up to SAG to give either actor a push. Unfortunately, they’re both so good in the movie they might cancel each other out.
Steven Yeun – Minari
One of the most beloved audience-pleasisng movies going all the way back to last year’s Sundance Film Festival is Lee Isaac Chung’s semi-autobiographical family drama, and Yeun’s performance has gotten quite a bit of attention as it follows his rise to serious actor legitimacy that began with the Korean drama Burning a few years back.
A few others in the mix include Sacha Baron Cohen in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (a Golden Globe nominee for sure), Tom Hanks for News of the World (ditto?), Lakeith Stansfield for Judas and the Black Messiah, John David Washington for Malcolm and Marie, and Tahar Rahim for The Mauritanian, but they all need to up their game, especially the latter two which are opening later in the season.
My nomination predictions: Ahmed, Boseman, Hopkins, Lindo, Oldman (The last three seem to be the most vulnerable to be replaced by Ben-Adir or even Yeun, who have roles in far more popular movies.)
LEAD ACTRESS
By comparison, there aren’t nearly as many actresses up for this category, and that’s somewhat telling that this seems to be the case every year. In fact, there’s only five or six actresses that I can see being nominated, and then it’s gonna be a bloodbath for the win.
Andra Day – United States vs. Billie Holiday
One of a couple amazing musical biopics about great women from music history, this Lee Daniels drama based on a tough period in the acclaimed singer’s later life reminds me a bit of last year’s Judy and others. Early critical takes on the movie were pretty negative, but there’s no denying that the singer, making her feature film lead debut no less, really embodies the title character and shows so many different sides as Daniels directs another Oscar-caliber performance. The question is whether Oscar voters can get past the tougher aspects of the film and Holiday’s life to fully appreciate Day’s work. Being on Hulu in late February will make sure that Academy members are seeing it while filling out their ballots.
Viola Davis - Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom
Davis won her first Oscar for supporting Denzel Washington in his adaptation of an August Wilson play, and she’s back in another Wilson adaptation. For this one, she’s in a far less recognizable role with elaborate costumes and an actual horsehair wig and dental prosthetics that give even more weight to her performance of the “Queen of the Blues” recording in Chicago in the late 1920s and not putting up with guff from anyone, whether it’s her manager or her brash trumpet player, played by Chadwick Boseman.
Vanessa Kirby - Pieces of a Woman
Giving a head-turning performance that includes an unforgettable (but hard to watch) 20-minute labor sequence, Kirby has already impressed her peers with her work on Netflix’s The Crown, as well as her scene-stealing in the 2018 action movie Mission: Impossible – Fallout. This drama by Hungarian filmmaker Kornél Mundruczó’s gives us another look at the actress, but the biggest hurdle Kirby is facing is that her co-star Shia Labeouf (who is also quite good in the movie) has been accused of horrible behavior and essentially cancelled, even by Netflix from its awards and marketing campaign for the movie. Will that hurt Kirby chances or will Oscar voters be able to focus on her craft?
Carey Mulligan - Promising Young Woman
That brings us to a thriller that normally might not be considered Oscar-worthy except that mostly everyone who sees this movie loves it and is blown away by the performance Mulligan gives, which shows so many sides of the actress previously nominated for one of her early roles in An Education (which also premiered at Sundance!). Few people aren’t impressed by Emerald Fennell’s directorial debut, and people will continue to talk about the movie and its shocking climax in the months leading up to Oscar nominations. Expect SAG and Golden Globe nominations leading up to her inevitable second Oscar nomination.
Frances McDormand – Nomadland
Although the two-time Oscar-winning McDormand stars in Chloe Zhao’s drama, which many people are already considering the frontrunner for Best Picture, some might even feel that McDormand’s performance is better than the two for which she won Oscars, it feels like this nomination is a given and many Oscar voters might prefer to draw attention to the newer talent in this category. But no one should be surprised if McDormand pulls out another surprise win on Oscar night without doing any of the campaigning others always do.
Zendaya - Malcolm and Marie
Another late arrival in this extended Oscar season is this movie from Sam Levinson, the writer/director whose HBO series Euphoria made the singer/actor best known for playing Mary Jane in the recent Spider-Man movies the youngest Emmy winner. Her role in the tough drama about a couple either will connect with Oscar voters or will hit way too close to home, so this might put her right up against Andra Day for that fifth slot.
Oddly, there aren’t nearly as many possible contenders in this category except for the other veteran, Sophia Loren, starring in her son’s Italian film, The Life Ahead; Amy Adams in Hillbilly Elegy, which suffers from horrible reviews; Kate Winslet in the mostly forgotten Ammonite or Meryl Streep in The Prom, although the latter of those is likely to be a Golden Globe Musical nominee and go no further.
My nomination predictions: Day, Davis, Kirby, McDormand, Mulligan (Zendaya seems like the spoiler but it seems unlikely she can win a nomination over five five flashier roles.)
SUPPORTING ACTOR
This is going to be a really interesting category this year, since there are three or four movie that have three to five (or more!) great male roles that have brought so much to those movies we’re likely to see them making waves in the SAG Ensemble category even if not all of them can get individual attention via supporting nominations.
Chadwick Boseman – Da 5 Bloods While Boseman is likely to get more attention for his performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, some critics groups have also been giving the late actor attention for this relatively small flashback role in Spike Lee’s movie, although it’s not nearly as showy or memorable a performance compared to Delroy Lindo.
Sacha Baron Cohen – The Trial of the Chicago 7
Speaking of what could be a SAG Ensemble frontrunner, Aaron Sorkin’s recreation of the famed government case against a number of 60s activists accused of inciting a riot (sound familiar?) features a number of strong performances, but the actor getting the biggest push (and doing the rounds, as they say) is the star of Borat who plays Abbie Hoffman in the movie and seems to really be flexing his dramatic muscles. The only thing that might hold Cohen back are his co-stars and voters who might not be sure who to push for the film.
Daniel Kaluuya - Judas and the Black Messiah Some might feel that Kaluuya’s performance as Black Panther Fred Hampton – a far more minor role played by Kelvin Harrison Jr. in Trial of the Chicago 7 – should have been deemed the lead, since it is a movie about how Hampton was set up by an undercover FBI agent, played by Lakeith Stansfield. Kaluuya already was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Jordan Peele’s Get Out (in which Stansfield had a minor role), but the performance he gives in this could certainly put him over the top with Oscar voters.
Leslie Odom, Jr. – One Night in Miami
One of the most memorable performances in Regina King’s narrative feature debut is this Tony-winning Hamilton star in his performance as legendarly soul singer Sam Cooke, as he butts heads with Kingsley Ben-Adir’s Malcolm X (see above), but with him being put into lead, it seems like Odom is likely to get the most love from SAG as well as Oscar voters, which puts him into direct competition with Kaluuya.
Paul Raci - Sound of Metal A name that isn’t very well known but is sure to be an actor we’ll see more of is this actor who has been mainly taking small roles on various TV shows for many years but as Riz Ahmed’s mentor in coping with his loss of hearing, Raci is likely to get some love as well, although he would really have to step up his game and get out there more.
David Strathairn – Nomadland
Chloé Zhao populated her acclaimed movie with many non-actors that come from the nomad community depicted in the film, and while much of the attention is rightfully put on Frances McDormand’s lead role, Strathairn’s supporting performance gives the film true heart. If nominated, this would be Strathairn’s first Oscar attention since starring as Edward Morrow in George Clooney’s Good Night and Good Luck.
Mark Rylance, Yahya Abdul-Mateen, Frank Langella - Trial of the Chicago 7 The big problem with the large ensemble cast of Sorkin’s movie is that there are so many great performances all working from his sure-to-be nominated screenplay, and no one can seem to decide which of the great actors is the best. Rylance already on an Oscar in this category, Abdul-Mateen is a hot upcoming star, and Langella is a veteran who has only been nominated once 11 years ago for Frost/Nixon. It feels Langella’s performance as the judge in the case is the most memorable, but these three might cancel themselves out especially with Cohen in the running.
Then we get to a lot of decent performances that might be hard to make a mark with so much competition in this category including Trevante Rhodes in United States vs. Billie Holiday, Charles Dance in Mank, Glynn Turman and Colman Domingo for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (with the same issue as Trial of the Chicago 7 acting against flashier performances), and the problematic candiates: Jared Leto in The Little Things, Shia Labeouf in Pieces of a Woman, and James Corden in The Prom.
My nomination predictions: Cohen, Kaluuya, Odom Jr, Raci, Strathairn (One of the last two seems the most likely to be bumped by a second Trial actor.)
SUPPORTING ACTRESS
Welcome to this year’s “problematic” category, not because there aren’t many great actresses giving supporting performances that any filmmaker or actor would kill for, but more because two of the movies have issues, either in term of bad reviews or a problematic co-star.
Maria Bakalova - Borat Subsequent Moviefilm
Sacha Baron Cohen’s surprise sequel wasn’t just praised for his decision to tackle COVID and the current American government but also for the performance by Bulgarian newcomer Bakalova as Borat’s daughter who keeps on being put into awkward situations to get laughs. Bakalova performs supremely, holding her own against the veteran Cohen in many scenes with many people leaving the movie awed by Bakalova.
Ellen Burstyn - Pieces of a Woman
Another acting legend, Ellen Burstyn, returned for Kornel Munduczo’s drama, playing the meddlesome mother of Vanessa Kirby’s character, who tries to push for a lawsuit after the latter loses her child. Like many great supporting roles, this one is almost exclusively about one memorable scene and monologue by Burstyn that was partially improvised, but there’s still that Shia Labeouf in the room that might sour voters’ desire to give Burstyn her first acknowledgment since Requiem for a Dream twenty years ago.
Glenn Close - Hillbilly Elegy
A few years back, we nearly saw Glenn Close win her first Oscar for her performance in The Wife but she was snubbed in favor of Olivia Colman’s memorable role in The Favourite, which helped put the prolific British actress onto many radars even before she took over the lead in Netflix’s The Crown. Close is back with another memorable performance, this one playing the cranky Mawmaw in Netflix’s Hillbilly Elegy. The movie was obliterated by critics who refuse to give Close her due for what she brings to the movie. I don’t think that will be the case with the Golden Globes or SAG and not even the Oscars’ acting branch, all whom should nominate her again.
Olivia Colman - The Father Although much of the attention for Florian Zellers’ adaptation of his own play has been put on Anthony Hopkins’ performance in the title role, there’s still quite a lot of love for Colman, who looks to once again hijack Glenn Close’s Oscar chances, even if this role isn’t nearly as showy or memorable.
Amanda Seyfried – Mank
People seem to be all over the place in terms of their feelings about David Fincher’s Mank, his first movie since 2014’s Gone Girl, but there’s a general sense of love towards Amanda Seyfried’s portrayal of old Hollywood starlet Marion Davies who seems to be a bright and shiny counterpoint to Oldman’s title character. I’m not sure she can win but has enough support for her first nomination.
Yuh-jung Youn -- Minari
There’s a lot of great performances in Lee Isaac Chung’s family drama but the one that the critics seem to be drawn to the performance by this Korean acting vet who plays the eccentric grandma who mostly brings laughs to the film. I don’t think either SAG or Golden Globes will pick her and the absence of the Chinese grandmother from The Farewell being nominated last year makes me dubious Ms. Young will get nominated either.
As with supporting actor, there are quite a few outliers who could sneak in, and we’ll be looking towards the SAG and Golden Globe nominations to see if there’s any consensus for any of the following.
Without going into further details, others in the mix include Olivia Cooke in Sound of Metal, Saoirse Ronan in Ammonite, Helena Zengel in News of the World, Jodie Foster in The Mauritanian, and possibly Dominique Fishback in Judas and the Black Messiah. As with the lead actress vis-à-vis lead actor, there just aren’t as many
My nomination predictions: Bakalova, Burstyn, Close, Colman, Seyfried (This seems like a pretty strong roster that should be able to navigate through SAG and Golden Globes, with the two oldest actresses having to overcome the hurdles of co-stars and/or critics. Who knows? Maybe Bakalova will win it.)
Hopefully soon (but probably after Sundance) I’ll offer my predictions for the screenplay categories, director and Best Picture, but look for the Golden Globe nominations to be announced on February 3, launching this year’s Oscar race in earnest.

~ Rocket Man ~
Again there she was, attending one of her beloved award events in an uncomfortable dress.
In fact she hated being there just because she had to.
Again one of these round tables with long white tablecloth in which her heels constantly got caught and it nearly scared the shit out of what would happen if she ripped the whole thing down…
Knowing her phone was muted in her clutch, nearly drove her insane. There was no chance to check it without turning all the attention of the people around the table towards her. And that was the least thing she wanted. “Don’t make it worse” she reminded herself.
She could bet her social media accounts were already exploding and her team was pretty busy checking the damage that today’s strange arrangement triggers again in the fandom.
She was completely lost in her thoughts when Peter said “Just don’t…” in this overbearing voice of his, sliding her water glass out of her reach, while she recognized she was fidgeting with it for the past few minutes. She couldn’t stand this behaviour all evening, that was for sure.
It was such an awkward situation and all for the sake of a role…
“But, holy fucking shit - I want that role” she reminded herself. She was so eager to delve into the creative depths of an historical figure held in such high esteem that she could taste it. So she tried to calm herself to not check her phone right now, not to fidget with the glass, there would be a moment later, when she could excuse herself and leave that Netflix table. If time wasn’t poking along so damn slow.
After the official part was finally over she sniffed her chance to make it to the foyer, clutch in hand she gracefully swayed in her delicate white evening gown across the event location to the foyer.
While checking her mail she was relieved her social media team informed her about people cooled off since her last appearance with Peter, this already has caused a lot of damage to her image and she hoped it wouldn’t increase.
It stung not being able to tell the simple truth, that it was all about a contract and a role, she tried to relax a bit. Just in that very moment her phone buzzed. Piper had sent a video message from Oscar and Felix. It was early Monday morning and they were ready for school. “Ma they don’t want to get into the car without wishing you a great day! - Me too by the way.” Piper said grinning into the camera.
Oscar waved and wished her an awesome day but Felix had tears in his eyes when he said: “Mommy I miss you…” Damn, now she blinked her tears back as well, even the boys had to be a part of that charade. She switched on the camera and whispered “I love you, too! Have a good day, I’ll talk to you later.”
When she checked her messages again, there was one missing she secretly had wished for….
She reentered the event hall the stuff was pretty busy with preparations for the after show event. Tables were rearranged and within minutes a dance floor emerged in the middle of the venue. Rolling her eyes to herself by the thought of playing the happy one all night long… she made her way back to the table and put on her best masquerade.
After a view minutes the turmoil thinned out, the staff honestly worked their magic in changing the room for the after show event.
The anchorman welcomed the guest to the afterparty and announced “…the one and only Sir Elton John” as the main act on stage tonight her mood lightens.
Tapping her toe with the rhythm to the first chords of “Crocodile Rock” she let her glimpse wander around the room. “No that’s a joke, that can’t be true…” she thinks aloud. There was Adam Handler sitting vis-a-vis at the other side of the dance floor. Grinning and mouthing something that looked like a “Finally!”. She couldn’t bite back a full hearted smile.
The audience was in party mood and poured towards the dance floor.
Peter misinterpreted her glance around the table wrong and asked, if she would like to enter the crowd for a dance, she hesitated as somebody helt out his hand towards her - it was Evan. Accepting his invitation by taking his hand. “Sorry, an old friend requires my attention.” she said with an apologetic look towards Peter and while they went straight to the middle of the dance floor she loudly whispered to Even.
“Thanks man, you saved my butt.”
“Can’t leave my buddies girl in the lurch, can I?” he responded and blinked his right eye.
Dancing, talking nonsense they fooled around on the dance floor.
The evening was salvaged until the band struck up for “Rocket man!”
There he was in her head again, in her mind’s eye she saw him sitting on the large sofa in his new york apartment, racking his brain to find a song which fits to Hank Moody and Californication.
Taking the macbook from his lap, she opened youtube and typed “Elton John - Rocket Man”
“G-Woman you’re a genius!” was all he could manage to say before she straddled him and they drifted away in a passionate kiss… A familiar hand on Evan’s shoulder pulled her out of her thoughts.
“I guess you had your fun Evan! Thanks for taking care of my Lady”
Beaming like a little kid on Christmas Day she bit her lower lip and slipped into his embrace. Breathing his scent and she was relived the charade was finally over, at least for now.
He welcomed her in his arms with a soft kiss on her lips. And also he knew there was no danger to avert concerning this whole “Peter - Morgan - Thing”, he couldn’t suppress a triumphant glance towards Peter. Demonstrating who belongs to whom.
Taking his hand and laying her head on his well defined chest, they swayed on the dance floor, not caring about anyone else in the room….

MARK ALAN CASH is a singer-songwriter guitarist, and a family member of two Country Music giants, his father Tommy Cash and his uncle Johnny Cash. The day Mark was born, his dad's and uncle's music was already being played on radio stations. Mark grew up on the road touring with his famous father, so he got to see first hand, the good, the bad, and the ugly side of the music business. Fast forward a number of years and now Mark has his own tour bus and is performing his own Country Music at Concerts. Mark's song * UNCLE JOHNNY * was written during a dark time in his life, it gives a personal glimpse into a memory of a conversation Mark had with uncle Johnny during a family gathering to say goodbye to their beloved Mama Cash. Listen closely to the lyrics, hear the deep tones of the vocals, the traditional country sounds of steel guitar and harp, and you'll be taken back to that day, just as Mark is everytime he sings it. And catch the hook. It is the essence of Mark's songwriting, it is the essence of the Cash family, with melodies filled with stories. Stay tuned because, Mark has many more stories to tell through his music.

Hit me with something... but please hit me softly. I'm still trying to get over the comics
Badass Bookworm / Genius Bruiser:
A Science Hero who reads Shakespeare, quotes poetry, can lift well over 10 tons and once flipped freaking the Juggernaut on his head. There is a good reason Hank is Trope Codifier (and picture) for Genius Bruiser.
Genius. Bruiser. Badass. Bookworm.
Beast.
