🄳🄰🅈 27 & 28 : Antigua, Guatemala !! . . Guatemala continues to wow me each day. Only wish I had more time in this gorgeous country. Spent the last couple of days in this small city of Antigua and OMG it is by far the most quaint and beautiful old town I've ever been to..Yes I say this despite goin all over Europe !! The only place that kind of came closer was Motor, Montenegro !! Antigua is so colorful, vibrant, narrow streets made of handlaid stones, cute little parks surrounded by lush green mountains & two huge volcanoes. Surprisingly a lot of travellers I met here were mainly from Central or South America. Very few Europeans, Asians or Oceanians !! If tourism is promoted here half as much as Europe or any other part, the economic condition of this geography could be so much more better !! All those in my list who are watching my posts, if you ever decide to travel or holiday in Latin America, if not for any other country I strongly advise to add Guatemala to your list and finish off with a relaxing end to it on the islands in Belize !! There's plenty of things to see & do here. After a long time, this is actually my first bike we’ve made in going to be allowed to keep hold of. I know there is going to be a lot of geeky questions. Don’t worry there will be a bikecheck video. Let’s take a look at what makes it special. The frame is a DFA made from aerospace titanium-vanadium alloy with oversized biaxlly hydroformed tubes. 180mm rear travel from an Ohlins coil shock (thanks Joe) forks are made by Cornelius Kapfinger at Intend - just under 180mm travel, stiffmeister headset and grace stem. Wheels are 29” We Are One Composite - Handlaid in Canada with custom decals and purple/ green nipples spinning on purple hope hubs with 203 rotors and tech brakes with Goodrich braided hoses. A World Cup limited edition Titanium saddle from Ergon allows me to fully drop without the tyre clipping the back. No dropper post, no chain device, I’m not fussed with gears so I have cheap and cheerless Sram Eagle 12 speed NX - £250 for the groupset super crisp. Magic Mary and Hans in the back (I don’t normally change the back from a Mary but wales gets unpredictable) Purple / Green rev grips. DMR vault cnc pedals in green. Hubert Goltzius (1526-1583) was a Dutch humanist author, antiquarian and numismatist. He was born in Venlo, and studied under Lambert Lombard in Liege and later in Antwerp. He settled in Bruges in 1558, and starts publishing several works on ancient numismatics. Completing the triptych - Auditorium Theatre mosaic 3 - yet more of the 350 million hand-laid tesserae. Why is a floor like this, as relatively simple as the pattern may be, so much more attractive and photogenic, and soothing, than something similar in a more uniform material, say concrete or linoleum? Well, it’s multifaceted (pun intended) but it’s due in no small part to the fractal distribution and the handmade quality of it, tapping into our deep seated affinity for scale and our evolutionary bias for social congregation.
