Hello, my name is Qwill, and I use any pronouns.

I've recently had quite the craving for hanahaki disease au roleplays. I'm not picky as far as characters go, I have two main ones I'd like to use right now that my roleplay partner can choose from. They're all very complicated, so I am going to keep their descriptions brief.

Avemour - A 7 foot tall fantasy creature of mixed heritage, serves as the oldest princen of an empire. They use any pronouns with no preference. He's pan and demi, so any romance would need to be built up for a bit before the love and disease could take hold. Avemour is very heavily traumatized in their backstory, with themes of cannibalism, child abuse, murder, and more. Despite this, or more accurately because of it, they are actually quite a sweetheart, and value others more than anything. They have trust issues though.

Syncline - A half human, half demon librarian. They collect books from all sorts of cultures, human, monster, and everything in between. They identify as non binary, and are bisexual with a slight male preference. Do not let this discourage female characters, though! Syncline is very reserved for the most part and quite shy, save for when the topic is books or languages or when talking to a close friend. Syncline is very affectionate with said close friends, and would be very affectionate with a love interest as well.

I roleplay direct on Tumblr, through dms or posts I don't mind. I have a separate blog for Avemour ( @falseangelsflair ) but would use my main for Syncline.

My oc Darcy grew up with John pertty much and was IN love with John since as long as he could remember, but after John suddenly "fell in love" with Mary he was just.. different. He didn't act the same, he was more aggressive, more anger, less caring, always talking about her. It drove them apart

When Darcy found out about the love spell put on John he devoted the rest of his life to witchcraft to save his best friend and crush

He stuck beside John, helped raise the kids, and John never suspected the witchcraft

I REALLY REALLY wanna do this. Like my oc is basically like Sam and deans 2nd dad, and they live a MUCH better life. Actally having a home and less trmaua and idkkkkk it's silly

I'd love to do it as Sam and Dean still bring kids (that is if you don't want Sam or Dean in double up) if not still have Darcy to be a father figure and they know he is a witch and chill with it

Hanahaki Disease= is a fictional disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings (romantic love only; strong friendship is not enough), or when the victim dies. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings for their love also disappear.

note:

when i roleplay, it’s usually a couple paragraphs per response. i like to write with things involving eating disorders, self harm, anxiety, just all in all mentally unwell characters. i understand if you’re not comfortable with all these things, but don’t let that deter you from messaging me! i don’t take these things to crazy extremes and usually it’s just part of the characterization. for example if self harm is one of your triggers i will gladly exempt that from my writing.

None. imagine taking inspiration from other people. Can't be me. Just kidding! For popular authors as a whole, I'm a huge fan of Bram Stoker, Madeline Miller, Emily Brontë and Arthur Conan Doyle. It's the way they're able to write with a certain elegance and eloquence but doesn't disrupt the intention, make it embellished or needing a thesaurus to understand. I value being able to distinguish and understand sentences, but since I'm a romantic, I enjoy flowery and poetry descriptions mixed in. The sort of writing where you can really a tell a human person wrote it.

As for writers here, I do look up to @lunaetis' writing the most, as she's been my longest writing partner and my writing definitely has been shaped by our interactions over the course of years. She's also what made me fall in love with writing in general back when for me it was but a mere hobby that I could just drop. But ever since we met, I find myself just coming back to this again, and missing all the bliss that writing has provided me and learning much from others as I go.

@soulseeresque and @ritterblood seem to encapsulate a lot what kind of writing style I wanted to shape for myself. Reading their work has always been a source of joy. You can feel their love for their characters and how they want to love yours just the same. They have a way of constructing sentences that is just so unique and rare. I hope to one day come as close to writing in the way they do.

There's also @sorcerhul whose writing style is just effective with mine. I'm certainly a more emotionally descriptive kind of writer and that can be a turn off to some, but me and Klem just enjoy it together with no problem and I feel that every response I give her is returned with the same amount of effort, if not more. One can only wonder where she finds the notion to conjure words sometimes.

10. what genre do you most enjoy, whether in roleplay, or fiction as a whole? (fantasy, period, superhero, etc.)

Answered here, but I can give you another. I like exploring really fucked up but simple and cliche themes like Vampire or werewolf AUs. We can all agree Twilight is cringe, but I will forever be a sucker for that kind of theme. Another one I do want to write but just never had the opportunity to do so is... Hanahaki Disease. It's the sort of genre that everyone and their mother was writing back in earlier years of Tumblr, but for some reason I never had the opportunity and I'm mad about it.
