006. What sense do they most rely on?

Canon; This precise feeling of how Hanzo Hasashi moves through his ways through his relentlessly trained third sense involved in balance and proprioception (also known as the kinaesthetic sense). This sense is the result of the combined information the brain receives from the sensors within every muscle that measures the amount of tension each muscle is exerting. This information enables him to sense physical movement and posture, and also attunes him to the sense of being `in’ his body.

Modern; His intuition, aka human’s sixth sense, which is an instinctive awareness that gives him a hunch or a gut feeling about someone or something. Animals are born with instinct that keeps them safe, to ward off predators and gives them a natural knowledge in their environment that helps them survive. Humans are born with the same instinct, only his modernized way of living, social conditioning and the constant battle between his head his our heart, means he usually make decisions based on logical reasoning.

008. What is their favorite fairy tale?

Canon; The Story of Momotarō, which he used to recite to young Satoshi often, considering the boy’s favorite fruits include peaches and strawberries. I also HC that Harumi used to dream a lot of peaches when she conceived Satoshi. 

Modern; Kintaro the Mysterious and Powerful Golden Boy, Kintarō was active and indefatigable, plump and ruddy (just like young Hanzo Hasashi was), and he wishes his own child(ren) to be phenomenally strong, not only physically, but mentally as well. 

025. What do they consider beautiful in others personality-wise? 

Canon; Dedication, which is commitment to one's ideals or responsibilities. It can help one solve challenges and achieve your personal and career goals. Also, a forthright person is one who communicates with openness, honesty and candor. This trait can be beneficial in the clan, because it can help support clear communication and trustworthy management of the clan’s endeavors ad responsibilities. Grandmaster Hasashi may also benefit from this characteristic in his own. as this helps him to develop productive relationships.

Modern; Accountability is a willingness to take responsibility for your own actions. For example, if a person makes a mistake at work, acknowledges that they made that mistake, fixes the current situation and makes a plan for avoiding that mistake in the future it might be a demonstration of accountability. Also, a willingness to work together. For most of the squadron’s task operations rely on teamwork, and also individually, collaboration can help the Commander solve challenges more effectively and creatively.

026. What do they consider ugly in others personality-wise?

Canon; already answered. 

Modern; Selfishness, which denotes an excessive or exclusive concern with oneself and goes beyond normal self-interest or self-concern. These people demonstrate a disregard for others and openly express their need to devote all their energy to their own agenda. Selfish people have a great, inherent desire to control situations and people and are unwilling to reach compromises with others and narcissists, who are like conceited individuals on steroids. They have an inflated sense of their own self-importance and the deep need for admiration. They monopolize conversations and have controlling personalities.

Most importantly, in both personal and professional settings, Hanzo cannot stand being not able to rely on a person to follow through, which is imperative and when a person negates their commitments, it can be difficult to remain attracted to them. If he make plans with someone he is initially attracted to for many reasons and they instead, stand him up, chances are the next time he looks at them, he won’t think so highly of them at all. 

028. What makes them laugh out loud?

Canon; The Shirai Ryu children. They love their Grandmaster, despite his solemn seriousness and grumpiness. Despite them bringing complexity of mixed emotions, as he thinks of Satoshi (annd Koharu) often, reflected in the visages and demeanors of them, their innocence, naivety, and wanting to learn and better themselves to aspire for their dreams bring him unbridled hope and resolve. 

Modern; Sharing intimate moments with his beloved. Hanzo Hasashi treasures every moment of them unwinding, whether in a quiet bar with a drink between them, having intimate conversations, or simply entangled in their naked corporeality, mapping familiar coordinates of one another as they gaze into one another in silence. Such moments of vulnerability and openness brings him unbridled joy and contentment.

Keigo was insecure about this, he never visits Tomie, so he's sure it won't be very... fun.

He flies to her door and rings the doorbell, an eye appear floating behind him, he looks at it and wave to it.

After a little the door opens, and she lets him in.

She sits in front of the TV and wait for him to say what he needs.

"Are you really my mother?" he asks already knowing the answer.

"... No, I am not, but I am your mother's aunt, that's why we still look a like" she responded not turning her head to him, but her floating eyes on him.

Keigo frowns at that "Why did you take me from them then? It's not like you love me"

She nods again "I lost Takami's baby, and he was on the run at that time, he was 3 years on the run, and Harumi-chan's son was 3 years old, you were enough to lock him up with me"

He starts passing getting agitated "But they live on an island! Almost no one can get there! HELL! Even after an enormous earthquake they had they still refused any help from the govern and the commission! So how did YOU get back there!?" Keigo pointed angrily at the floating eye.

"I didn't" she turned her head to him "one of her old friends gave you to me, your mother lost a big part of her friends after she had you, I contacted her, and she gave you to me"

"Name"

She shook her head "you won't be able to find her"

"Why? Did she run to another country?" he stopped passing and looked at her.

"Because she's dead, I'm only alive because I changed my last name, even that wasn't enough, but then the commission reach out because of you, and Kojima-kun had to step back even if he did find me"

"So the commission kept them away from me!?"

She shook her head "the commission didn't know about any of this, they protected me unknowing"

"I want to meet them" Keigo said determinated

"Just don't bring them to me" she gets up and find a pen and paper "they probably moved from the temple, but Ren's parents never liked changing their phone number" Tomie writes the number and gives it to him

"I thought that there wasn't connection there?" He inspects the number on the paper

"Kojima's mother has a quirk named 'Connect' any cellphone works around her, no exceptions" she explains  "Wait a little please"

He watches as she goes to get something from her bedroom and comes back with a thin picture album.

She gives it to him "I'm sure my sister would prefer that this was on her daughter's hand instead of mine" Tomie looks at him one more time and then sits in front of the tv again.

'I didn't even know that she had a sister...' Keigo thinks looking at the closed album in his hands.

"WHUH?!"

Well that was certainly off the beaten path of questioning, enough so that it had Yang making a choking noise as she forgot how to breathe a moment. Who just asks that? Ah, many people would, right. Yang was just not used too it any more, all things considered. She cleared her throat quickly to try and regain some sense of composure to even try an entertain an answer here. That was when the second half hit, hard, like a ton of bricks. Weight of reality settling in so quick it could almost be described as emotional whiplash. From calm, into confusion and perhaps flustered? Then straight into heavy facts. Take a breath. Count to three. Let it out slowly. The train crash of thoughts came back into control, a start to attempting an organized response into an incredibly rude way of following through with this line of questioning. All it needed was some time to collect. And the warrior woman was able to focus now, watching the one whom had asked-

And Yang's eyes became sharp.

"Counter question: Do you think either one of these inquiries are appropriate?" Her voice was strong and confident while one hand lifted to rest at her hip. Maintaining that strong body language of hers, despite how a small part of her mind was still reeling from the suddenness of it all. A soft sigh escaped, shoulders coming into a gentle ease. There was no reason to lash out, merely a far too curious individual or creature. But now this had so many other thoughts stirring across the brain. A kid, a child, just like that? Yang had only ever adopted children over her long life through the ages, raised each and every one the best that she could. Gender, species, race, none of that mattered between whom they were... But this was different entirely, suggesting that the old soul and Hanzo ever had their own- it wasn't something Yang had ever really thought of admittedly. Only ever content to have what is here now. The way Yang's life had been wasn't ever truly capable of such beyond that. "I suppose it... wouldn't matter, boy or girl, even if we had both. We would love and cherish them entirely no matter what. That is the type of people we are. But all of this is just... Fantasy, honestly. Life isn't exactly conducive too this at the moment. And I've not thought of kids of my own in a great many years. So we're going to table that conversation right the hell now." It brought way too many questions with it, the what ifs, and the tightening of the heart. Fears and worries that history may repeat it's self.

As for that second half of the inquiry, it had Yang feeling like a cold lead weight had settled into the pit of her stomach. When people made those kinds of questions, or even dares to make comparisons, it hurt. Like a burning reminder. "As for Harumi... We are both entirely different people. She deserves to be loved and remembered, just as anyone else who has lost loved ones. I am not here to replace her, nor do I ever want too. She was her own, as I am mine. If I can help Hanzo Hasashi heal, that is wonderful, yes. But I will also help him tend too gardens in her name. We're individuals, not replaceable aspects. We're people." And in Yang's personal and silent opinion, Harumi was the better out of the two of them. But they will still never be the same, and thus should never be compared. "I have already long since accepted all of those facts. Because that is what it all is, fact. Not a status, nor is it something that you can cure, memory remains and should be remembered and honored. But you can't let it consume you either. Hanzo and Harumi are an ever bound fact of the universe, and you need to respect that."
