Day 30: Character Wishlist

Kim Possible Characters because I just think everyone should get them and join the party <3

Ron Stoppable: I'll admit it, I have thought about just getting him because he's soooooooooo /clenches first. Kim Possible was the show that displayed Girl Boss and then Male Wife. I love Ron!! He's like both the comedic relief and the straight man, the guy who keeps it real because he's just a guy. A guy with his little quirks. and we have kim!!!!! bring ron!!! dynamic duo!!!

Wade: scratch that make it a dynamic TRIO! computer wiz baby!! can't have a team without the Guy in the Chair or the tech guy who sends the cool gadgets <3 plus wade is such a cutie pie, he should be here, too, on that alone. but yeah another tech-y, nerdy, nice fella will never not be welcomed !!

Motor Ed: literally the funniest character/villain on the show to me and i play THEE titular villain. he's just a muscle car guy with a mullet. he's an icon. he's drakken's cousin! that doesn't have to be canon necessarily but i think it would be funny and they could get up to some fun shenanigans. either as a team or working against one another <3

DNAmy: queen, icon, older woman, woman in stem, woman who isn't afraid to be a villain while also being an adorable little cutie pie with the aesthetic of a 10 year old girl. she's living out her childhood dreams and who could blame her? i think i said this last year and probably the year before that but i will say it again, her getting to be in a world where there's already magical animals and then trying to combine those magical animals' DNA together???? please, the plot writes itselF,

Monkey Fist: I just love a bitch, and he is The Bitchiest. he's also british, so like, he fits right in. people have been asking where the rich characters went. I present to you Monty. he can be the guy trying to find merlin's objects for the worst reasons!!

Duff Killigan: probably my favorite guy. he's scottish so i think he'd also fit right in even if he did complain a lot. i know we have eboshi as the town's villain but i also think duff could make a run for that role in coming to swynlake with the idea to level the town so he can make a nice golf course <3 or maybe he's trying to take out enchantra, either way!!

Senor Senior Senior and Senor Senior Junior: talk about icons. they became super villains just because they had the money and were bored. how iconic is that. either one would be great to have around but i think them as a duo is very fun <3 getting another father-son duo around town !! AND more rich characters. you know they would throw great parties, junior wouldn't have it any other way.

Dementor: Kim and Drakken may be arch nemesis, but dementor is, in canon, his arch rival. he's a better villain, he's more prepared, has better plans worked out. blahblahblah. anyway, i think he should come hang out in swynlake to piss drakken off. <3

Barkin: this is the teacher if anyone cares. he's the patrick warburton character LOL. but i think he would be a fun addition to the seconday team!!! i know it's not as poppin as it once was, but he has other qualities about him that make him a great character and addition to the rp. for example: he was the coach for the cheerleading team! as well as troop leader for the pixie scouts SOOOO if anyone were to pick up a fireside girl (isabella <3) or russell from UP for the wilderness explorers, you've already got yourself a troop leader!!

Bonnie Rockweller: an icon!!!!! always a fan of the mean girl!!!

Now Some Non Kim Possible Characters for the masses:

Mike and Sully: been beggin for these goons for literal years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i would love to take either one of them but my idea for them wouldn't work without the other. :( so if anyone out there in the rp reading this ever has an inkling for either one of them, seek out my DM's. i promise i will be there for you!!!

Jackson Storm: also begging for jackson storm. would love to have a hot shot mean boy hanging around! purely self centered asking for him because he would be a great foil to Cruz <3 but i also think more boys should be mean and annoying. because we all know they ARE

Chick Hicks: speaking of foils and annoying men. i'll admit, i have thought about chick hicks more than once. more than 10 times even. mostly because my nephew has hit his cars phase and whenever he's over the movie is on and i'm watching it and just fjdkslfjdlks. i love the idea of him having a podcast and just being an annoying D-list celebrity, coming to Swynlake to judge and get the scoop on the goings ons.

Alice in Wonderland Characters: copping out on this one just because I couldn't pick one. I know we lost our title character to go be a kween, but i think the characters and the skeletons of this movie are ssaaaaauuurrr fun. and not just because i have hatter and would like connections to them <3 they're just FUN. but also someone should get the march hare. that's my buddy, my guy, my pal.

Peter Pan: where tf is he bro. we literally have every peter pan character but the title one. what is this. WHERE IS HE.

Bolt: we have penny. we have mitte. where's bolt?? idk what the idea of him is, but when i have thought of him, because of course i have who here hasn't, it was the child star who grew up to love voice acting more and then that just became his gig. i love voice actors, they're like such a special type of person that i think would be a v fun addition to our little town. and again, we got some of his friends here already, so where he at ??

Rapunzel: i just think she's neat. she's usually always snatched up within disney rp's right, but she isn't here! i would love to see her!! we have a lot of the princesses already! she could fit into any age demo honestly,depending where you want her story to fall. like the young 18 year old in the movie we see. or her growing up more like in the show. i also like the idea of like a middle age rapunzel who could be teaching art at the secondary or primary!

Judy Hopps: since we have a new sheriff and deputy, i am also interested to see more cops at the station! and a girlie would be a great addition to the two boy-os already hanging out. i also just think it would be funny to toss in the overly eager rookie on Max and Tom <3 on top of everything ELSE they're dealing with lmao

Cogsworth: someone get him before my ass does. that's it, that's all i'm going to say. actually no it's not. he's so diverse with being able to his any and all the age ranges! the secrets, the lies, the deception of not telling anyone he's the SAME GUY! or idk maybe he does tell people, that's funny, too. also we have sophie and her curse, they could be buddies.

Basil and Dawson: several people put them, i will also put them to add to the campaign. dynamic duo!!!!!! also another doctor for the hospital! or for the Magic Doctor Duo if you wanted to go that route with Dawson. as someone who plays one half of an old man duo, i can attest to how fun they are !!!

Some December 2021 Sims4 Updates:

I've managed time to work on Sims stuff again lately! Even if my toddler demands I make every Sim "wear Tangled clothes and have Uma hair". Flynn Rider had an interesting look going on... Anyway, here's some updates.

- My search for Disney Pirates cc has been going *very* poorly. Not even close to enough for the lookbook I wanted to make... So I'm probably just going to release my Pirate Sims with links to the little CC I *do* have. Hopefully down the line, I'll develop talents enough to make a Hook Hand, Davy Jones parts, etc.

- I just need to finish texturing Shan Yu's outfit and release him. Eventually plan to redo him better in the future, once skills develop.

- I made Ernesto de la Cruz. Just need to find a sombrero and finish assigning his outfits. I think I can manage to texture "his" guitar too, but no promises.

- I need to learn to focus. Pick one Disney Sim and don't work on anyone else until they're finished. >.<

After your binge-watching session, which would say is better: Kim Possible or Danny Phantom, and why?

Someone actually interested in my opinion for once?

Well it depends, both have their pros and cons in regards to episode plots/arcs, characters and chara development, character designs etc. So I’ll suppose I’ll break them down into different categories. Under a cut as to not make scrolling a hassle.

Also I apologize in advance for my page theme, I know it’s kinda shitty and hard to read sometimes but I’m too busy to change it right now.

Designs/Art: I know Stephen Silver was the main designer for both shows (and his designs for a lot of the teenage girls has a uh, Obvious Pattern.) Ignoring my bias towards Vlad and Drakken, I think a lot of the ghosts have fun designs, but KP gets points for actually letting characters (esp Kim and Ron) wear other clothes in S2 and beyond, and between Phantom, S1 Kim and S4 Kim I think S4 Kim has the best “action” outfit. BUT the art style for DP is pretty stiff at times and KP style has a lot more range for animation, body types and faces. Overall though, I say they’re pretty tied imo. Both have a lot of ups and downs that truly comes down to a personal pref, even though the Fartman’s style is the more iconic one. I think KP wins animation/art and DP wins for designs.

Characters: Again, the villains shine here more than the protags. KP as such a wide range of villains that I have have to give them the point for creativity and FUN in antagonists, (Duff Killigan is prob my favorite in absurdity followed by Monkey Fist, the Seniors and DNAmy all tied for second. I really like Motor Ed too, seriously.) but that’s not to say that DP doesn’t have them either. Vlad’s true motivations are really...unique compared to other DP villains and even KP ones, (seriously? How many bad guys you know who’s goal in life is “fuck the MC’s mom and also make MC your son”) who like KP are just “take over the world and/or cause tons of destruction” but with only half the fun. Sadly Dark Danny’s entire thing hinges on him being Danny But Evil who only wants...destruction??? Whereas Evil Ron actually does something interesting with the character, showing Ron’s true potential (see Evil Ron vs Electronique in “Stop Team Go” for example) and being in-character for him still. (Faux Take Over The World plot to cover his true goal of owning all the world’s Nacos? Of fucking course Ron would. Brilliant.) Evil Ron still has hints of Ron’s personality (”Boo-yahaHAHAHA!”) whereas Dark Danny is just... evil for evil’s sake, which can be good when actually done right, but in this case isn’t because the only thing that resembles Danny is his outfit. Shego’s backstory is great. DP’s new S3 enemies are very boring despite interesting powers. KP S4’s Camille Leon is great but Warmonga is just eh. Moving on to protags, KP’s protags are far, far more interesting than DP’s. Which brings us to the next point. (Also Mr. Barkin > Mr. Lancer, and Kim’s parents > Danny’s parents.) KP gets this one.

Chara Development: Gonna say it, DP almost has none, and straight up regresses in very end of S2 and most of S3. I swear the only real characters who have any are Vlad (for better or for worse, the latter imo), Jazz (when they remember her, and is good) and Valerie (whose is good too). Tucker gets 3 (three!!) fking episodes about him and they ALL carry the same theme of him not being able to responsibly handle having any kind of power, which is why him becoming the town mayor at the end is so BAD. There’s NO WAY Tucker of all people would make a good mayor. VALERIE got more episodes than him, JAZZ got more episodes than him, both with development that STUCK while he’s a MAIN CHARACTER. Sam never changes, def for worse. Sam is a Base-Breaking Character for a dang reason. She’s extremely pushy, acts like she’s lowkey better than everyone else, and never seems to consider how her actions affect other people, and the like 1 or 2 times she does it doesn’t fucking stick like she’s Hank Hill or something. Danny has no real development for his character. All that develops for him are his powers and nothing else. On the other hand, KP characters DO have development and it shows! Not just for the protags but for villains too! Kim is bossy and a lil controlling early on and stops during S2, whereas Ron was extremely cowardly and gets, not exactly braver but just less phased by it all, plus early he never quite liked going on missions but later on gets sad if he has to miss them, before he doesn’t like being distractions but later on very much takes pride in being one, and etc. Drakken and Shego get development too, esp their relationship with each other AND with Ron and Kim. Bonnie actually got an episode of development (but sadly regressed in time for the finale) whereas Pauline just...never changes whatsoever. Bonnie actually makes for a good rival and mean girl for Kim for the entire show whereas Paulina and her relationship with Danny and Sam are just....bland and doesn’t go anywhere. There’s nothing for Dash, though Ron doesn’t really have an equivalent. So, KP gets this one.

Episodes/Plots/Arcs: DP wins in the Lore department by far, KP wins in character arcs. A Sitch In Time answers the great questions of What Would Happen if the Villains Teamed Up AND Shego is a Better Villain than Drakken so Why isn’t She in Charge? ft Time Travel. The Ultimate Enemy answers What If Danny Went Evil and Is Vlad Completely Irredeemable? ft Time Travel. KP definitely does the “balancing Hero duties with School life” better than DP. You can definitely see her struggles with it whereas DP is just kinda there. I also very much like that Kim is girly but is never shamed for it both in-universe and out, whereas DP is known for the shitty “I’m not like other girls” fake feminist bullshit. A problem I have with DP is that time pretty much never changes, as if the show takes place within a year, and it seriously hampers the growth of the show could have. Time is also just out of whack, they take their big end-of-the-year test then it’s Christmas THEN it’s Summer Vacation but even in S3 they’re all still in the first year of high school like ??? What?? Whereas KP starts in Freshman year and ends with Senior Graduation. The arcs of Danny/Sam vs Kim/Ron are just...D/S was definitely teased a ton more but by S3 you just get tired of it, not to mention the hypocrisy regarding the character relationships. Personal opinion warning, but Danny/Valerie had a lot more development in such a short time and was super interesting. Kim/Ron didn’t have as many teasing esp in S1 and S2 (it’s there though) but it def picks up in S3 and I love how their new relationship was handled in S4. Back to episodes, my favorite episodes for both are Reign Storm and So The Drama, but while I might be biased toward Reign Storm I’m gonna have to ultimately give better episodes overall to KP. So The Drama has Drakken going back to his Actually Dangerous roots from early on and becoming the closest to anyone to actually winning on his own merit (Shego stole the Tempus Simia from Drakken/Duff/MF and relied on weird time shit of Kim being “lost in the time stream” ((actual canon explanation)) to travel to the future specifically to stop her, to actually win) and is SO good when Dr. D finally gets defeated, plus (personal bias here) Kim and Ron’s teased hook-up finally happens. I will say though, I’m not a fan of S4′s Hana Stoppable/The Han story. As both shows are action-oriented, they definitely have their fair share of good fights but I think KP also has better action and fight scenes. Humor is extremely subjective but I think KP made me laugh more. Finally, DP is infamous for S3 just being bad whereas KP just got better and better with each season, though I’d put S4 below S3 and above S2. So: Lore = DP. Arcs, Action and Eps = KP.

Fandom: Ignoring the super gross shipping aspects of some parts of the fandom (If ur a P*mpousP*p or K*go shipper pls go away from my stuff i’m fucking serious), I think DP wins for this one. Many great OCs, (I really haven’t seen any for KP aside from next gen?) the already interesting lore is def expanded so much by fans, I legitimately don’t care for “Wes Weston” but my god did the fandom do some serious work for this boy. I don’t know too much about KP since the fandom seems kinda dead aside from some shipping stuff and a very slight revival from the movie, whereas DP ended before KP and is still very very active. DP wins fandom.

(Bonus) Reboots/Redesigns: I’m gonna be honest, I’m not sure what could be done better for KP aside from the mess of Disney’s out-of-order airings, a more serious reboot wouldn’t work for the show at all, but DP could definitely use a reboot and fixes the disaster of S3. And reboots & character redesigns are def a hot topic for the DP fandom. So DP gets this one, though I’m not sure if this is a good thing.

Final: So over all, 4 for KP and 4 for DP, or if you add the little groups, 7 for KP and 4 for DP. Overall, I’ll say KP is the better show, but DP shines with the fandom. I also have a personal bias in favor of DP but it makes them even out for me. If you want interesting lore and good fandom content, go for DP. If you want fun and interesting characters, actual character development and more action and drama, KP is the way to go.

But instead of picking one, just watch both!

top 10 ships tag! these aren’t “in order” but #1 is #1

1. cory and topanga! (boy meets world) my very first thought when given this prompt, theyre the blueprint! they are just BABIEs when they meet and they already Know each other. i will not pretend that topanga didnt shape me into the kind of girl who wouldnt change one thing about herself for a boy, keep your legs hairy and your convictions strong! the way they grow together is enough to make me hate god for not giving ME a cory matthews. high school ski trip infidelity aside, theyre the first couple that made me think i could find a man. i was wrong but its nice to think about.

2. kim possible and ron stoppable... the way the entire series is about kim being a wildly competent type A cheerleader AND teenage vigilante super spy and ron is her chilled out lame best friend who is Always there to help her save the day... please take a moment to listen to the jesse mccartney song why don’t you kiss her? that plays during the romantic climax of the kim possible movie, perfectly capturing the intense fear that comes with thinking about maybe finally kissing your best friend from preschool at your junior prom.

3. tami and coach eric taylor (friday night lights) ...come on, y’all!!!! genuinely the most real relationship i have ever seen on screen. i don’t even know what to say other than that they are REAL. coach and tami are such a good couple that it doesn’t make any sense to me that their kid would have such a massive stick up her ass. i even tried an ‘empathize with julie’ rewatch, and while a lot of her teen angst is understandable and even relatable, she still seems so disconnected from her parents/dillon at the end of the show in a very unsatisfying way! coach and tami are the heart of fnl. and tim riggins.

4. belly conklin and conrad fisher (the summer i turned pretty trilogy by jenny han) bro.... when your mother’s dying wish is for you to care for your little brother, so when he has a little crush on the girl you are In Love With you bury your feelings and go to college far away because nothing is more important than their happiness, and they could be happy together! and years go by and theyre going to get married and youre set on being Happy For Them until you find out how much your brother has actually done to break her heart and her trust and then the thought of her settling for him is even more devastating than your true desire for her to settle for you.... WHEW! when you’ve been busy coming of age and trying to make it work with your best friend that isnt really right for you and then you find out his brother who you’ve been in love with your whole life turned into a distant asshole because the most important person in yalls lives taught him to be selfless and he over-corrected in his grief... BOY!! this one makes me feel like my heart is in my stomach.

5. SENSE8! can i just say all of it? everything and everyone? if you are bisexual and havent watched sense8 yet, this one is for us, baby! the ship is an interconnected web of LOVE AND TRUST. the pairings are endless. if i HAD to choose my fav, wolfgang and kala (and rajan <3) and i cant explain why i would pick them over anyone else, thats just what my pussy told me. but frankly i shouldnt have to choose, THEY ALL SHARE ONE CONSCIOUSNESS! 9. stef and lena adams-foster (the fosters) MOM AND MOMMA! listen, abc family shows are insane, but stef and lena make the drama worthwhile. their house full of teens is not perfect or easy, but never have i ever seen lesbian moms at the center of any media, let alone ones who thrive like they do when they communicate, support each other, and lead with love. this is a couple who chooses each other and their babies over and over again. its about putting in the work, having the tough conversations, and making the hard decisions because you care!!!!!

‘A World of Fragile Things’ Chapter 4: All My Fears Turn to Rage

Ron was worried; not forgetting to turn in a few assignments worried, but it’s-the-end-of-the-world kind of worried. They had been trekking through the forest towards Yamanouchi for what felt like forever. It would have felt like old times, but the fact that Drakken and Shego were present made the situation feel much more dire. His eyes flickered over towards Kim, her auburn hair tied up into a high ponytail. Her face outwardly showed determination and the fearlessness she always exuded, but Ron knew to look past the surface. After all, he had known her his whole life. Kim was exhausted, and rightly so. From the look in her eyes, if you searched deep enough, her fear was as plain as the nose on her face.

Kim caught his eyes, giving him a soft smile. She reached out for his hand, interlocking their fingers together. She squeezed his hand three times; that was their silent way of saying ‘I love you.’ There appeared to be a break in the thick forest trees up ahead, and surely enough the bridge to Yamanouchi presented itself to them.

“It’s about time,” Drakken remarked. “These bugs are getting on my last nerve.” Shego elbowed him not-so-lightly. “Well, they are,” he continued as they walked across the rickety bridge.

“Sensei said he would be awaiting us in the courtyard,” Yori told them. “I can see him from here.” Surely enough, everyone else saw the small dot of a man in the distance. Yamanouchi had definitely suffered from the attack that happened just days before Hana was kidnapped. There were portions of the structure on the ground in several pieces.

“I see we have two more guests than expected,” Sensei pointed out when the group arrived. “Drew Lipsky and Sheena Gordon.”

Drakken’s jaw dropped, and Shego’s hands began to glow. “How do you know our names?” she demanded.

“Sensei is clairvoyant,” Yori explained. “He knows and sees all except for how Fukushima’s plans will affect us.”

Shego scoffed. “Well, that’s not very helpful is it, Mystic Man?”

“Shego!” Kim hissed. “Now’s not the time for snark.”

What Kim saw as disrespect, Drakken saw as a defense mechanism. He could differentiate between Shego’s attitudes. This particular bit of ‘snark,’ as Kim put it, was what Drakken had come to understand to be Shego’s alternative to showing fear. When in a stressful, life-threatening situation, she tended to give attitude, but it was downplayed more than her usual cockiness. It was very rare for her to be afraid, which surprisingly made Drakken feel braver; or perhaps he was feeling protective, which in turn, would boost his valor.

“It is quite alright,” Sensei told them. “Stressful situations tend to bring out the worst in people.” He turned to Ron, studying him for a moment. “Stoppable-San, as you know, the Lotus Blade was taken by Fukushima, as well as your sister. She is needed for his plan, which tells us that he plans to unearth the Yono yet again.”

The faces of Kim, Ron, and Yori were horror-stricken. The last time the Yono had been unearthed, everyone but Hana had been turned to stone. Though Hana defeated the one who unearthed the Yono, they were very close to eternal destruction.

“What?” Drakken asked as he and Shego noticed the expressions on everyone’s faces. “Who’s this Yono?” Shego pinched the bridge of her nose at Drakken’s use of air quotes.

Sensei, sensing the tension in the air, motioned for everyone to follow him inside. “Come, and we’ll talk it over with tea. I will tell you the tale of Yono.”

Fukushima dug through the coarse dirt in Simia Canyon, searching for the golden pull ring of the Yono’s temple. Hana had finally woken, and was now running around the canyon, distracting him from his work. He couldn’t allow her to get away, as that would risk his chance of receiving absolute power. Digging through his satchel, Fukushima found the powder he had used on Kim Possible. He lifted Hana in his arms and sprinkled the substance over her, putting her tiny body in stasis for the time being.

After another hour of digging, the pull ring was just barely visible, but it was enough for Fukushima to grab ahold of, and lift. He was thrown back, and watched as the monkey temple rose from the depths of the earth. A turned-to-stone Monkey Fist could be seen at the top of the temple, forever frozen in a prison of his own making.

Not for long, Fukushima thought. “Simian mon kayala uwono aluay ken servant.” He felt the ground quake, and looked up at Monkey Fist who had begun to move, but still made of stone. Emerging out of the temple’s entrance was a cloaked figure that stopped just a couple of feet from him.

“I am Yono,” he bellowed, ripping away the cloak to reveal a short brown monkey with piercing green eyes dressed in a purple Mandarin tunic with gold trim.

“Fukushima!” Monkey Fist shouted. He disappeared out of thin air from the top of the temple, and reappeared atop of the steps. “Have you come to finish what I began?”

“I have bigger plans than having you become the monkey master,” Fukushima scoffed. “Ever hear of the War of Darkness?”

Shego sipped her tea tentatively, unable to figure out if she liked it or not. She had always been more of a coffee person, but when in Rome…or Japan, rather. Sensei was pouring tea for Kim and Ron, who looked to be in deep conversation on the other side of the room. Shego had never seen Possible look so exhausted in all the years they were acquainted. She was itching to find out more about this Yono character, and why it signified danger all around.

“Gather around,” Sensei told them. Kim and Ron finally sat down between Sensei and Yori, facing their former foes. He looked at Drakken and Shego. “I take it you were told of the War of Darkness?” They nodded. “Yakunan plays a large role in the tale of the Yono.”

“He does? You never told us that before,” Ron remarked.

“We shall start from the beginning,” Sensei said softly. “His full title is Yono the Destroyer. When Toshimiru claimed victory, he banished Yakunan, and had him sent away to the hidden valleys of Simia Canyon. Unbeknownst to Toshimiru, Yakunan had meddled with the darkest of magic previously. This dark magic kept him truly immortal. This kind of magic required human sacrifice, and Yakunan gave plenty after slaying so many on the battlefield. However, he did not anticipate the transition into a monkey, as he was only made so by his jealousy of Toshimiru being the monkey master.” Sensei took a sip of his tea, observing everyone’s reactions. By the look on Kim and Ron’s faces, they had figured it out. “Yakunan would remain immortal, but would live out his days as a monkey imbued with the power of wielding the darkest magic in the world, only able to help those evil enough to seek him, for he is the one they call the Yono.”

“Soooo,” Shego began. “We’re scared of…a monkey?”

“A monkey who wields dark powers,” Drakken pointed out.

“And who has caused death and destruction in his wake every time he is summoned,” Yori added. Gesturing toward Kim and Ron, she said, “We are lucky that we survived our last encounter with him, but it was only because Monkey Fist was unable to get Hana to comply.”

“That’s the other part that doesn’t add up…what does Stoppable’s little sister have to do with any of this?”

“My sister is a ninja prodigy, but is also the weapon called The Han,” Ron explained. “For reasons still unknown, the Yono has a connection to the monkey mystic weapon that my sister apparently is.”

“From what I could tell from Monkey Fist’s ramblings, if you are able to have The Yono and The Han comply with your wishes, you’ll gain endless power to do with what you wish,” Kim added.

"And how do you even know all of this, if it isn't common knowledge?" Shego asked Sensei. "I mean, you're old and wise, I get that, but how are you sure?"

"Because," Sensei paused for dramatic effect, "I am Toshimiru."

After the shock of Sensei's revelation wore off, Yori stood up, gesturing for Kim, Ron, Drakken, and Shego to follow her. “It is time that we get some rest, I suspect. We have all had a long night.” The sun was just beginning to rise over the mountains, but not one person in the room had enough sleep to still be standing. “I will show you to your rooms. I assume it will be alright to share?” The four guests looked at each other in surprise. Yori laughed, realizing they thought all four of them would be sharing one room. “I meant to say that Drakken and Shego will share one room, while you and Stoppable-San share another.” The look of relief on everyone’s faces was extremely noticeable.

Drakken and Shego settled as comfortably as possible on the bed roll, though that wasn’t saying much. Her eyes closed instantly, and she was veering off into sweet obliviousness until Drakken’s quiet laughing woke her up. “What are you laughing at???” she asked irritably.

“I was just thinking, maybe we shouldn’t fight this monkey; he might use gorilla warfare,” he laughed. “Get it? Cause guerilla war—oh never mind.” He noticed the roll of Shego’s eyes. “This whole thing is just bananas!” And the laughter started up again. “We can’t be caught monkeying around, you know.”

Shego growled. “That’s it! If you tell me one more pun, I’m shoving you off this bed.”

“But—“

“No.”

“Just—“

“Sleep!” Her tone was crueler than she meant to be. She harrumphed as she turned herself away from him, unable to get rid of that niggling feeling in the pit of her stomach. She knew that Drakken was only trying to ease the tension that Sensei’s story filled the air with, but the fear she felt had her lashing out at everyone.

Meanwhile, Kim and Ron were continuing their heated conversation from earlier, neither bothering to at least sit upon the bed roll.

Kim’s eyes were aflame with frustration. “Ron, I don’t care how many times you say it, I’m not just going to get up and leave. Yes, Fukushima is after enacting revenge on you, and the world, but the truth is, I’ll be in danger no matter where I am. You don’t have to do any of this alone.”

“You don’t know what you’re saying, KP. You need sleep,” Ron told her, sitting down on the bed roll. “We both do. Hopefully, tomorrow you’ll realize how absurd you’re being.”

“Excuse me!?” Kim exclaimed. “I’m being absurd? Who’s the one planning on taking down Fukushima head-on without any backup? You can’t do that, Ron, it’s certain death!”

“But it’ll ensure that you stay alive!” he argued. Kim was taken aback by this statement. He sounded so sure of it.

“Ron,” her voice softened, “how can you be so sure of that?” He said nothing, but slipped a small, rolled piece of parchment from his pocket. “What is this?”

“I found it in Hana’s room,” he told her. “Read it.”

Outsider, your sister will not come into any harm, as I need her alive in order to enact my plans. However, if you want Possible to remain alive, meet me in two days’ time in Simia Canyon where you will inevitably perish for the woman you love.

Kim couldn’t stop the tears from welling up in her eyes due to her anger and fear. “Ron, you can’t do this! I’m not worth this. There’s always another way.” She sat down beside him.

“Not worth this? KP, you’re worth everything good in this world.” Ron’s determination to die for her was frightening. Not that she wouldn’t do the same for him, but what good would it be to not even try to defeat Fukushima together?

“I won’t let you do this alone,” she told him. “We’ll get Hana back, we’ll defeat Fukushima, and send the Yono and Monkey Fist back in the ground. It seems impossible, but well, do I have to say it?”

Ron smiled at her, unable to keep it from his face.

“Anything’s possible for a Possible,” they spoke in unison. “And don’t you forget it,” Kim added.

Usually we found villains who are marked as evil for committing one or more of the called the Seven Deadly Sins is that the name? sorry I’m from Spain, we called them differently here : warth, greed, gluttony, envy, lust, pride, sloth.

So, which one are forgivable?

Gluttony:

This one can be considered a greed one too, but let’s work with this one. And he’s also fat while all his men where starving, and working under the rain, so..

In a few words: “I WANT GOLD! GOLD GOLD GOLD GOLD!!!” When it comes to gluttony, there is a non stoppable hunger, that nothing ever fills, taking from other people with no even thinking it, because that need is that strong, and this one doesn’t even care or worry about it, just want to satisfy it, no matter what, even when or maybe especially when people try to put some sense on him.

Lust:

I guess this one is self explanatory thanks to the picture. Maybe some people who are into bondage would maybe consider this if he was hotter, but only on fantasies, and that’s the thing about it: no fantasies here, just a LESSON of how a crazy stalker can be, and remember, it’s the same even if the person is hot, because they won’t actually think about you, but on their desire.

Sloth:

There aren’t actually good examples, because sloth always goes along something else, like greed, but let’s get into this with this one:

The best way to explain this is: choosing the easy way. Right things are most of the times the hard ones, that’s why sloth can make you a villain.

Pride:

Thinking you are the best drives to think you deserve it all. The truth is, no one is the best, and nothing you deserve isn’t something that you hadn’t earned or is fair for you to have. This kind of people MAY change, but they have to meet the humbleness, and there are times when this people have passed the point of no return. Gaston is a good example, or maybe the best example.

Envy:

“Why can’t I have/be what that person has/is?” is the usual thought of this kind of people. The problem with this villains is when they take it by hurting the innocent, just because they feel like they’re less just because they don’t have what the other has, which quite possibly have rightfully or earned it. “I want it no matter what I do to others to have it” is often what tends to happen on these stories.

Greed:

There were a lot more of examples to this one, in fact. Jafar, Mother Gothel, and pretty much everyone up there (except Frollo, that one just needs his lust and intolerance to be gross), but I went to this one because there is no better example for the “I deserve it because I want it”. These type of guys were on their chilhood like “I want this! I want this! What, why not? That’s not fair!”, and insert the sound of a whiny capricious kid, and then they grow up and though they stopped whinning they still want it all. Nothing they care about but themselves, and the people around tends to end up dumped or discarted somehow, DON’T EVER BE MISTAKEN. But this one is pitied just because he’s cute, agh, gross.... So your older brothers mocked you, Hans? So does everyone with older siblings! Get fucking over it! That doesn’t mean you deserve something that is not yours at all and you can get it by murder! And you don’t fool me with your “good boy” mask, we all know that was for your electoral campaign!

Wrath:

Anger is the reaction when some offense, attack or bad happening comes to you. It fills you with some kind of fire within that you want to pass on to the one to ignited it or, in the worst case, the who ignited it and then everyone else on the way or just around. On Disney is portraid often by the result of the hero’s mistakes or somebody related to the hero, many times on a exaggerated way.

There you have the usual kinds of villains, and if you ask me, the redeemable ones are the wrath ones. The reason is simple. What kind of moral difference you think is between...

(Replace “Golden Ticket” for anything the ones from gluttony, lust, greed, envy, pride and sloth want, and IT WORKS).... and

To explain it more: anger looks foward for some kind of justice (twisted sometimes) and it’s a feeling everyone would feel on their place, maybe handled differently than the villain. That sets this kind of person on a moral spot closer to ours, which helps to empatize on both sides.

In fact, many times wrath comes because somebody did to them something driven by, guess what, one of the other seven, which can be a mistake from one of the heros or a bad day or even another bad guy.

And a plot where you have to stop someone who has gotten too far by the anger that went because a mistake of yours may be not very original, but it makes a hero who is not perfect and makes mistakes. Not to say anger can be gone with time. And the angry person may not be perfect, but it can be an ally if their anger is towards the other bad guy.

So, do you think a person with anger is more likely to come back to the righteous path than the other ones?

P.S.: Yes, I do ship some HeroxVillain ones, but I don’t make it a reason to think the villain deserves redeemption.
