I'm traveling 910 kilometres to see Taylor and that's like the closest she's ever come so two hours feels like a dream! Could you get there by a train or a bus? :)

oh wow 910 kilometres is dedication! i’m sure it will be worth it though! i could get a train it’s just that means travelling back alone at night or paying more for a hotel which i don’t really wanna do :/ i’ll have to catch her next tour instead!

14. a fic you didn’t expect to write

my current WIP and last goodbye for sure! i never in a million years thought i’d write for anything that wasn’t aos and then BOOM i wrote two in a row in a completely different fandom lol.

Everything you write is pure perfection. I don’t even have words to describe how good your writing style is and how perfect you are at imagery, at painting us a picture so we can see it as clear as you do. I’m going to miss these pieces so much. This was the first CPD fanfic I ever read and I’m feeling so nostalgic.

I've been reading this fic and rewatching the whole series (well I skipped all over the place the first time I had watched it Australian airing of CPD was pretty shitty). This fic is so fresking amazing. It is just so perfectly THEM! I'm going to miss it so damn much.

Spent the last few days reading this series and all of your Chicago PD fics, only benefit of the flu or whatever it is I have. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and everything PD you have written and hope you continue to write Linstead even though Sophia may not be on PD anymore Linstead can live on in the fanfiction world thanks to the talent of yourself and the other writers out there.

Sweet baby Jesus this (like every other chapter) is too freaking perfect. I am really going to miss this story. I’ve foolishly embarked on a re-watch and I am totally going to re-read these when I get to each episode (and to each point you’ve slotted these into) again…

I’ve said it before, but your writing is beyond impressive. I’m pretty sure if I closed my eyes I could actually picture these scenes playing out. The thought and detail makes everything feel so real.

Time to break some news.

I will take the story of a man who decided to change sides to Dumbledore’s, even though he was the Headmaster who protected his tormentors and silenced him as a victim, letting near murder and sexual assault barely punished, as well as dismissing the Marauders’ relentless bullying; a man who put his life twice in danger in asking Voldemort to spare the Muggle-Born mother of the Chosen One who had already defied him thrice and still coming to the leader of the Light Side he believed would kill him on sight to deliver information for the protection of at least one member on the other side of the war; who very soon decided to work as Dumbledore’s spy to protect the whole Potter family, providing information that saved several more lives, putting his life in constant danger because he was a traitor; a man willing to protect the son of the woman he loved and whose death he was partially responsible for, as a way to extend her will and pay for having been a Death Eater; a man who over the years chose to continue spying on Voldemort instead of fleeing because he refused to be a coward, a man who changed so much he tried to save “as much people as he could” as well as fighting purist racism if it wouldn’t blow his cover, even though the Light Side had casted him early on as the enemy; a flawed man that still saved Harry, Sirius and Remus’ asses despite being the reminder of serious trauma that was never resolved; who still went on to die for the Wizarding (and as a consequence the Muggle) World even though he knew he had not treated Harry like Lily would have liked and would be instead the one sending him to his death.

I would like this man rather than another who never apologized for his mistakes; a boy who performed ostracization of Slytherins and would only report his violent tendancies from the Slytherins to the Death Eaters; a boy pampered by life, a wealthy popular handsome Pureblood who assaulted a poor ugly fragile Half-Blood child on the reason he’s the Gryffindor and the child is the Slytherin; a boy who would in fact never change since he was already best served by Dumbledore rather than Voldemort; a man who would very well tell he’s been the better man in saving Snape without ever admitting he did it because him and his friends would have been expelled/imprisoned/executed for nearly killing/infecting Snape with a Dark Creature, thus making them even more popular toward Lily; a man who would use illegal hexes against everyone in the corridors, refraining from Dark Magic as a pretext it was not actual violence; a boy who would constantly try to charm (“cute” stalking) and make Lily date him, going as far as hypocritically adopting a fake mature look when she draws near, threatening her best friend so she would oblige, threatening to hex her while putting the blame on her if he did, and dismissing her protests as if she was just a hysterical, overreacting girl; a boy who never saw the problem in torturing a student and humiliating him on a 4-on-1 fight with his gang, going as far as for the assaulted creating the equivalent of a penknife as defense and hiding in the shadow of bushes so he wouldn’t be spotted; a boy who never stopped from bullying Snape in Lily’s back because he was a special case; a man who would still have problems with Muggle police as a joke, and so stupid he not only refused Dumbledore’s offer for the Fidelius when it could cost his wife and child’s lives but also went to fight Voldemort wandless, failing to cast a protection spell — and that when he was trapped.

You know what James did well? He was Harry’s son. Oh and he was handsome and wealthy and married the mother of the protagonist. If you wanted to fight against rich bullies and stalkers, you had that man.

Snape did a lot of bad, but also a lot of good, without using his love nor his past nor his ill mental state as an excuse.

Oh and don’t worry, I have a lot of material to prove this.

Also I will take the love story of a man who grew up to be a better man, and stood between certain death and his family to give his wife and son a fighting chance, than a story of a petty man who only thought of the girl he liked and never once thought what she would think about him tormenting the son she died for.
