comrades of sabithia by hegelbagel (action/comedy/drama series that relies on its own world-building and lore combined with halo, has some of the funniest bits ever PLUS the story is genuinely engaging and the characters are endearing. currently has 35 episodes that make up its first three seasons and a prequel miniseries, with two more seasons planned)

sandguardians by intromind (drama that starts out comedic, basically if you took the rvb premise and played it straight, picks up in its second season. made since 2011, this one has 65 episodes that make up its first four seasons with a fifth season planned)

guard duty by spiteboxstudios (out of pocket comedy series about five dysfunctional security guards who become the target of a deranged hitman who is at the center of an ongoing investigation by the government. so far there's 10 episodes that make up its first season, with a prequel miniseries in production and a second season planned)

flying by wire by mellohyelloh (a chill, low-stakes series about three spartans who are genuinely friends who reside in a training facility. there's only 5 episodes so far, all less than 10 minutes, but you get the characters and dynamics right away. more episodes are planned)

the first couple of times I watched Crash I was distraught that I couldn't do a John Halo with any of the characters on account of The Series Being Named After One of the Characters and Crash Crash doesn't really ring, I mean it could, but I didn't like it.
