What do you do if you have had the worst ever stay at a bed and breakfast where the conditions were absolutely deplorable and you have a bad night sleep waking up with backache. I decided to find a monkey bar on the beach that had just been installed the week before. The downside was my limbs were full of so much fatigue. I could not work out at the Rach that I’m used to. However, a little is better than a lot sometimes especially when you are exhausted. So I did as much as I could have had to settle for that.. In the first video, I do some inverted crunches but I’m not wearing the correct shoes. I didn’t decide to fast walk along the sand back to my car which is parked half a mile away and return with my Vibram, five fingers. I sent to a number of more inverted crunches some l-sits and l-sit rotations. I'm so serious, one Itty bitty workout, if you're capable, can do numbers. The pain in my legs has been debilitating for years, especially now that I work long 12 hours where I have to stand up essentially the whole time. I've picked up doing a mini workout when I wake up and before I go to bed (and everytime I get out of my desk chair on the weekends if sitting for long hours.)
25 mini squats (I go about as far as my knees will let me which isn't very) and 50 "jogs" (I jog in place and one jog is after each foot has touched the floor once, I do that 50 times). And that's it. And just doing that has lessened the pain I feel at work significantly. Like so super significantly. Like what do you mean standing without pain is a thing significantly. Do a halfsquat and a little jog.

Many strength coaches maintain that full squats are the only way to improve sports performance. However, most athletic movements involve the hip and knee moving through only partial ranges of motion. Since strength is joint angle-specific, it makes sense that half and quarter squats may have an important role to play. This important study revealed that when introduced in well-trained athletes, quarter and half squats were superior to full squats for improving sprinting and jumping abilities. you don’t know when to stop. you’re always pushing yourself far beyond your limits, forcing yourself to do more, more, more until one day, you finally break. so why put yourself through so much pain? it’s because you need to prove that you have value. but as good as recognition from others feels, the person you’re trying to prove your worth to the most is yourself. you never think you’re enough, so you’re always doing more to compensate. ultimately, you’re just trying to convince yourself that you aren’t as pathetic as you really think you are.
𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐔
you have poor coping mechanisms. when you’re stressed or upset, you either eat too much or you eat too little. you sleep all day, or you don’t sleep at all. you burst out with emotion or you completely shut yourself off from the world. you know it’s unhealthy, but you don’t know what else to do. everything feels like it’s spinning out of control and this is the only way that helps you feel sane. your false sense of security. you just need someone to pull you out of the water, to be there for you and tell you that everything will eventually be okay.
𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐀
no one treasures you, and everyone takes you for granted. you’re the dependable friend, the one others can seek help from when they’re struggling. but once you’ve helped them back up on their feet again, they walk away from you, going on with their lives and leaving you out of it until the next time they need you again. it hurts. it hurts to not be appreciated. it hurts that no one is there for you like you are for them. it hurts that you’re only important to others when they need something from you.
𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐀
there’s a void in your heart that you don’t know how to fill. you’re pessimistic, numb, and so very tired. you’re always neck-deep in your thoughts, which keep you up late at night because they’re the loudest when you’re alone. you often daydream and imagine yourself in a separate world because reality is cruel, harsh and painful. you act like everything’s fine, but deep down, you’re barely keeping it together. no one knows how truly sad and empty you feel. you wish you could just escape, to finally be happy and free.

in a group of three, you’re always the one left out. you get the least attention, either because the other two are closer to each other or they receive more attention from others than you do. you’re always the one in the background. sometimes, you wonder if they even remember you exist. everyone has their pairs except you. you just want to have your other half, the one person who will always pay attention to you and make you feel like your existence is worth something.
