Life is worth living

I just wanted to encourage you that life is beautiful and worth living. Hard times never last and when you hang in there you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. You are strong, beautiful, and there is a plan for your life. Never ever give up and hang on to "hope" with everything you have.

You are not alone.

I know it feels like it, especially in the wee hours of night, like there’s no way you can do what has to be done. But, you can and you will—week by week, day by day and, sometimes, hour by hour. You will find hope in the tiny accomplishments of daily living. Whether it’s realizing you made it to work on time or got the kids off to school or just got out of bed, you succeeded.

One day and surprised at the passage of time, you will see that you have strung together a series of large and small successes. You will be further along than you would have thought before starting. Overcoming the hardship and the struggle you’re facing right now is within your power. You will emerge on the other side and into the sunshine. It takes a million little daily steps done to the best of your ability, but you got this.❤️

Difficult is simple!

I have been through what some would call a  difficult time but to me it was simply my life. It did make things super hard but I know what I am capable of now. After the "difficult" time became less difficult I am still excelling and still remember all the ways I have grown as a woman. Now when I feel overwhelmed, tired, and ready to give up, I look back and I remember, OH yeah, it could be worse! I already did difficult so now I'll do the easy part! I want every girl and woman to recognize the long difficult road they have traveled this far in life and the positive difference it can make when you refocus your perspective. Difficult becomes different, hard becomes easy, and the  struggle becomes simple. Now difficult is simple!

You are inspirational in the obstacles you have overcome. Keep it up - we believe in you!

A few years ago, I was a Live Your Dream Award Recipient and that award changed my life. At times, our world can seem so heavy; like everyone around us is pulling us down, like we might never overcome the obstacles before us. Those thoughts are so untrue! You can, you can do this, you can overcome anything. You are a bright, shining, powerhouse of love and strength, there is NOTHING you cannot do in this world. Each and every day you wake up, and try your very best, maybe you do it for your kids, hopefully you do it for yourself. And some days, your best is better than on others, and that's ok. What is important, is that you keep trying, you keep pushing, because you deserve more and you are more, so much more. Please remember that, remember that when you succeed (and yes, you will) I'm succeeding with you, if you fall, I fall with you. Every step we take, we take as sisters in arms, I am beside you and you are beside me. You are never alone and together we can lift each other up.

So go get um, you got this!

Seeing the strength in your scars

This quote speaks volumes to me today! I have so many scars and wounds I carry around that if you could see the true me I'd look like a stitched up raggedy Ann doll. But I grow stronger everyday, some days are worst then others. I just Keep moving! You may feel like your not strong today, and that's ok. Just Keep going! I promise you, tomorrow will feel so much better! Be blessed💋!

I know it’s scary. I know it’s tough. I know you want to cry and scream. I know it won’t be easy and you’ll second guess yourself. But I also know, you’ve got this. You’re tough. You’re resilient. Firstly, I acknowledge, as a previous domestic violence survivor, that sometimes encouragement seems dismissive, or doesn't appear to acknowledge the pain & anguish you walk through daily.... this is not that.

I want to encourage you, that where you are is not the end of your story, but rather the beginning of a new chapter & you can write a new ending. 

There are people around you that you can lean on.... so lean.

There are people around you that want to take your pain away....  they can't but let them share the load.

There are people around you that want to love you... let them love & receive it because you're worth it!

Don't doubt that you will get on the other side & don't doubt that it will be worth it... it is & you will.

So many people believe in you and are cheering you on, so believe in yourself & the gift you are & win!

Dear Woman (Women),

Life can be hard, disappointing and cruel.  Life can also be wonderful.  Many times it comes down to believing in oneself to make the choice for as much 'wonderful' as you, yourself want.  No matter what the past has been, for just this moment choose to continue to move forward even if sometimes it seems as if you are rooted to one spot; one step at a time.  Believe that somehow goodness will come as will the opportunities you need.  Deep inside are the answers that will motivate you on your journey, seek them out, they are there.
