We have (with little to no comedic exaggeration):#1) WWX whistling and somehow summoning not one but several horses to his side.#2) meeting the surviving Wen sect members who insist on not leaving Wen Ning behind.#Only for it to cut back to Wen Ning ripping a guy in half. (Not pictured here. I tried so hard but I could not make it look good).#Personally I feel like we moved on way too fast from the horse thing. Where did they come from? WWX couldn't have brought them.#He *just* found out there were more people left behind.#So...are the from the Jing sect? Are these disloyal horses? Or does WWX have incredible animal charisma skills?#It feels a bit like a DND player asked to call in some horses and the DM said 'Sure if you roll well enough' and it was a natural 20.#Maybe this is just my own envy cutting through. God damn I wish I could whistle and summon a horse to my side whenever I needed to.#I know I should not be so hung up on the horses. But my brain is cooked. I have been so sick.#The kind of sickness that makes it hard to breathe. Or think. Or have any energy at all.#I wish I had good commentary to write here. I just...really want a nap. RS3's story problems these past few years is a great example of "boring characters cannot carry a good plotline"
#spy's talky things#a clannie is going through egwd in timeline order atm and so i am once again stuck thinking about these things#like the plot points of egwd/zamorakian civil war/fort are all fine#(barring a few character-specific plot points that suck ass + the presentation of those plot points leaving a lot to be desired)#the characters are so ungodly boring. like i just do not give a shit about any of them#and the characters we had lost a lot of development in the ending of edwd and instead became flat#there is a sincere problem if the player characters is saying ''i couldnt have done this without you all :)''#and i watch the scene like ''who the fuck are half these people''#great characters can carry a dogshit story but a great story cannot carry boring characters#you know... is it any wonder lorehounds who like to write essays are still on board with the lore#while those who wrote fanfic/drew fanart have fallen off#one is fact oriented and the other is character driven#i love writing a good essay in the tags <3#add: to everyone reblogging this and adding their own tag essays please by all means keep it up <3

the only character that is allowed to kill an egg without repercussions is q!badboyhalo because this fandom treats him like a glorified nanny and they only care about him when they’re yelling at him to take care of their fav egg. he ain’t that egg’s government-assigned parent and he isn’t responsible for constantly keeping every egg alive but i damn well know if an egg dies on his watch, or if an egg dies of neglect he’s gonna get blamed - especially if an egg dies of neglect since he’s the only islander that cares about that apparently lmao (mostly joking). And the worst part is he’ll probably blame himself too but it honest to god is not his problem.
Bro needs a vacation - an actual one where he’s not taking care of an average of 3 eggs daily lmfao

this is an issue with guardian signs too and i thiiiiink soa but man, one of the worst things they do in these games is give you a companion that does jack shit and is literally just there to be a mouthpiece because the player character has to be silent. their existence actively hurts the story of these games to me because “oh we gotta work together to stop the bad guys!” but they just sit around doing nothing the whole game because the gameplay requires you to be the only one doing anything. and it works with other characters like spenser (who’s off doing other more important work) and rand (the only other ranger in the region) because they’ve got an excuse to not be helping you specifically in that moment but the companion character just sorta stands around listlessly spouting the words you need to hear
#it doesnt help that lunick at least barks orders at you like stfu dude#it hurts gs the most tho imo bc like omg we’re strapped for rangers rn why is ben following me doing nothing but babbling#and i really like the feeling of isolation in that game. everything falls to you bc oblivia has no one else#but rand who just wants to be with his family#and then. ben. just kinda wandering around following you and doing nothing#like. dude leave me alone. youre literally ruining the vibe rn. you wish you could be partner from pmd. but youre not partner from pmd.#you are nobody#actually wait maybe lunick is worse bc at least ben does add stuff to the plot sometimes#like he gets kidnapped and held hostage thay one time and hes used to trick the player in the final act#and theres at least some chemistry there with the player character#but you spend half the game without lunick and then he suddenly shows up clinging to your soul#adding nothing of note really#echoed voice#ranger lb#ive just been letting entei kill gordor while i type tbh

Question bc i dont have the game yet, is 'Tears' meant to be crying tears or like ripped tears? I remember that being a huge debate when the title was revealed.
tears as in crying tears, and i still think that debate was the stupidest shit zelda fans have ever done because it was so easily cleared up by looking at the japanese title of the game

I know I've already bitched about this but it's so frustrating that if it was just my glass cannon rogue, who was designed on purpose to get in over his head and be chewed up and spit out in combat, dying very badly over and over I'd be having fun

#i have to say this somewhere or im gonna go crazy#so at a preschool. you HAVE to have one adult sitting at every table when kids are eating. and you also need a person in the hall#for kids getting their lunchboxes and going to the bathroom and shit ok. are you with me here. this makes sense#so today. my 2 coworkers had already taken the chairs bc i got caught up in the hall but i was so fucking hungry that i just ate standing u#which was fine. like i could just put my lunch down if someone needed my help and i Did that ok it was fine. no one was left alone#but later at SNACKTIME. it took me forever to get these 2 kids in the room and seated ready to eat & by the time i got in some kids were#already finished and ready to go to the playroom. so i was like ok i guess I'm not eating for the latter half of the day because they cant#be left alone. and my 2 coworkers at this point were sitting with the snackers and they looked fine so i looked after the Players#intermittently glancing to the snack tables to make sure everyone was fine mind you#So what happened here was.#There was a 20 second interval between the time i glanced up to see 2 adults at the snack table. And the time i glanced up to see#a completely unsupervised snack table. one kid STANDING UP ON THE TABLE blowing raspberries and pointing at the other kids#could not have been more than 20 or 30 seconds that i wasn't looking and NO ONE TOLD ME they were leaving the room#if i had been WARNED that they were leaving i would have prioritized the snackers and sat with them so no one choked and no one fucking#stood on the table#but they both just left for whatever reason without saying anything#and when i brought it up after school they were just like. well marty you were eating too much during lunch#next time you should eat before coming in to work so you can give the kids your full attention#??????? i already skipped a meal today for that exact reason?? how is it my fault that i don't want to starve?#am i actually in the wrong here because it's driving me FUCKING nuts. that was NOT a safe situation and it obviously can NOT happen again#but the issue was a lapse in communication not me wanting to eat food so i don't actually die#and those were two different times of day so they're not even relevant#obviously there are bigger issues in the world than this but i feel like throwing up over it. this was not my fault#I'm sorry that you guys can survive off of like 1 spoonful of granola and a single acai berry for the entire day but im not built like that

giving the timing of when the successor of the switch is coming out, i hope splatoon 4 will be an early-system game. i'm excited to see what direction they go in now that they're finished with the current story trilogy

I am really not prepared for the potential route that this season is building up to ted leaving richmond to go back home to be with his son. we found out last episode that michelle is dating again and it's serious enough that he's met her son. ted misses his family and even wanted to reassure his son that he wouldn't be away if it wasn't important. this episode furthered my fear with seeing just how much the people and team have grown due to ted's influence. roy is opening up more and more emotionally, rebecca is fighting for the team instead of working to destroy it, jaime is now a team player who passes the ball, and the team even worked together to come up with the strategy that gave them the point. this can be seen as ted no longer "being needed" by richmond, though he definitely is wanted, and with michelle no longer needing the distance since their divorce, ted may leave to be there for his son
#ted lasso spoilers#ted lasso#im tired and was late to the watch and my brain is half off but i see things coming full circle#jaime used to refuse to pass and only give himself credit and we have seen him pass the ball this episode (tho this isnt the first time)#rebecca traded jaime before to ruin the team but this episode bagged a star player#this season is going to emotionally wreck me as i have to sit for a moment and its just been 2 episodes so far#on another note rupert coming to look like a villain lmao#mackenzie speaks#i can see the season ending with a scene at the airport where ted leaves with his son/family to mirror the premiere when he watched his son
