He sat you down on the toilet seat as he filled the bathtub, making sure the temperate was just right and adding in some scented oils.

After the water had finished running, Kaoru pulled you into his arms again before lowering you into the tub, allowing you to get settled before slipping in behind you.

"Feeling any better?" He questioned, rubbing your shoulders gently.

"Mhm..." You closed your eyes and relaxed into his touch, feeling yourself dozing off.

"Tired?" Kaoru asked, giving you a quick peck on the cheek. You leaned further into his embrace and nodded, earning a chuckle from the man, "I must have really done a number on you then, huh?"

You opened your eyes to pout at him, earning another chuckle from him. "I'm only kidding, love. Go to sleep, you deserve it"

You let yourself close your eyes again and sink deep into his touch. Soon enough, the steady sound of his heartbeat and the soft splashing of the water around you sent you into a much needed sleep. Dreaming of nothing but the love of the man holding you in his arms.
