Ok, okay listen I have a mighty neeed to say this!
How would Feyd-Rautha feel about having a wife who’s sensual???❤️Hear me out, his spouse comes from a small planet called Eros (Greek word for passionate love) and it’s basically the opposite of Giedi Prime, the people are loving, gentle and highly romantic individuals. Even worse they are pacifists! At first Feyd is like eww wtf is that culture? Never heard of such a thing, but when it’s time to meet the bride he sees her and is bewitched…
She has long rapunzel hair cascading down her back, or in a braid. She’s gentle with the maids and teaches them how to put flowers in her hair.
Always had luxurious perfumes and oils. Runs Feyd these big bubble baths and soothes his wounds.
Has the best fruits and sweets shipped in from her planet. Loves telling stories to children, like one of those lovely kindergarten teachers and she thanks everyone for their help.
Loves to paint, and do artsy stuff that Feyd just doesn’t understand where is the war? The bloodshed! The chaos—oh she made me a painting of my battles! Oh that’s so😍
Kisses Feyd’s bruises and at first he’s like cut that out! But then he’s like “Where are my kisses?” “I demand your affection woman.” And she’s like you don’t have to beg. Black cat hubby vibes🐈‍⬛
Gives him good massages too. Will brutally kill and then surely die if she offers anyone else a massage.
Soft and siren like singing voice, plays the harp. Even the Baron is impressed and wants her to play for their events everytime.
“Pick up the blade and defend yourself wife! You never know when you’ll need to, especially if I’m not home to protect you.” His wife just shrugs “But darling, I don’t believe in violence.” Feyd take as deep breath and closes his eyes.
Speaks in a gentle tones “Hello Rabban how are—?” Feyd: “Don’t speak to him he’s a brute!” Rabban is touched that she cares but also jealous that Feyd always gets the most beautiful things offered to him. Even a caring bride.
Extremely calm and seductive. No voice or Bene Gesserit skills needed. Feyd storms in stressed, covered in blood from one his fights and she’s just lying there half naked in a robe reading a book. “Would you like to make love would that be better?” She asks stroking the sheets. “I—I would love to fuck you.” “Oh! Well those are two different things, if you’d like then” “Come here. Come here!” *climbs onto bed.*
Comforts Feyd when he has nightmares. Caresses him and hands him a mug. Feyd: “What is this? It smells horrid.” “It’s elderflower tea my love, it’ll calm you.”🥰 *sips tea* “I hate it. It’s disgusting.” *keeps sipping*
Wears a lot of silk, velvet and lace. Has a gorgeous body and luscious skin.
Feyd is shocked when his darlings don’t want to harm her because she spoils them with special treats, delicious wine, jewelry, and dresses. They forget he enters the room because they are giggling over their gifts. Feyd: “What is this?” “She gave us heart and kidney pie.” “And silver rings!”
Bonus points: She ALWAYS wears red lipstick which is a contrast to the black and white of the Harkonnen planet. Imagine whenever she steps in to see Feyd and her smile is wide and her lips look like bright blood.
Just a thought enjoy!❤️
Omg I LOVE all of this, thank you for sharing it!!
I definitely think it would be a learning curve for Feyd but deep down he just desperately wants someone to love him😂😭
I can see him getting frustrated with himself like “what are these feelings, what has she done to me” and when he asks her what kind of witch she is, she just throws back her head and laughs and tells him, “that’s love, dear”

Fuck I don't care this fandom is more dead than my grandma and that no one will know what I'm talking about
Cassandra from Tangled the Series Headcanons (spoilers for the whole show)
Tw: Mentions of self harm, depression, other mental health issues
- Between her leaving and the last episode there is a time skip because the show kinda made it look like there wasn't and I don't like that so there was a few months time skip
- During that time skip, she struggles with her mental health a lot. She keeps finding ways to punish herself like not properly taking care of herself. Rapunzel and others would take care of her and make sure she is well fed and rested.
- The idea of her leaving would actually come early after the finale but she would hesitate. Not only her, Rapunzel would be worried that Cassandra with how bad her depression was at the moment, wouldn't take care of herself properly on the road which could have really bad consequences. Eventually, Cassandra would get better enough for Rapunzel to not be worried about her that much.
- Cassandra did not know how to take off her armour after the finale and had to go to Varian for help. It was all a very embarrassing experience, she doesn't like talking about it.
- She was very wild as a teenager.
- She has lots of scars on her body from different incidents (most from her teenage era)
- She began having really bad nightmares after the finale.
- She and Rapunzel would (obviously) write to eachother while she is away. Rapunzel would write a lot, every minor event would result in a letter, Cassandra would love to hear about all of them. However, Cass would struggle to write to Rapunzel sometimes since she struggles to express herself and her feelings. As much as Rapunzel worries, she understands. On the bright side, it would make Cassandra's letters very long since she would have a lot to write about after putting it off for so long.
- She did want to get included in the search for the lost princess multiple times but her father forbid her from it. He was very strict about it, eventually she gave up on trying. (You may figure out the reason on why he was so strict about it yourself iykyk)
- The only person (probably in the whole kingdom) aware of what happens to the lanterns after they look pretty and fly away. She didn't have a heart to tell that to anyone because of the meaning of the tradition.
- She did have problems with her hand after it got burned and it did hurt her a lot when she used it but she never told anyone and pretended it's fine. (I don't like how fast the show moved on from her hand getting burned like she got over it too fast idk)
- The moonstone had very weird effects on her other than providing her energy (so she didn't need to eat or sleep). One of it being that her chest did hurt sometimes because of the moonstone being stuck there, she did her best to ignore it. There's a high chance that if she kept it for longer, the pain could become unbearable.
- The moonstone effected her brain more than she thought, sometimes making her dissociate or have derealizations. This why she doesn't actually remember many moments of her life after she grabbed the moonstone, especially the moments between the mayor events when she'd be alone.
- Always wanted to explore the world but never had a chance. She was a bit jealous of Eugene whenever he would describe the places he have been to but she would never admit it.
- Actually witnessed the dancing scene from the movie and was a part of it at some point very very much against her will.
- Dissociates when emotions become too much, Rapunzel always gets extra concerned during those.
- Touch starved but also hated touching it's complicated.
- Cold hands
- (This one is based on this one shot I read on ao3 I might put it later when it's not 1am for me)
Growing up she never learned how to take care of her curly hair, since she never had a mum and the other maids working in the castle weren't much of a help. Eventually, Eugene would help her with it and teach her to take proper care of it.

Just watched the music video animatic (Storyboard) for life is sweeter
Here is the link lol
If you don't want "spoilers" you can watch it now and read later idk.
First of all the thing that made me write this.
Is Zellie, Rapunzel or Rapunzel's daughter? And Chloe was definitely hitting on her! SHE LITERALLY HAD HEARTS IN HER EYES!
She stuttering "i-i- I think your hair is really great!"
AND RED REACTS WITH "smoooth"
CHLOE IS GAY. SHE'S A LESBIAN. LETS GOOOO LESBIANS LETS GOO!
(Of course this doesn't make her a lesbian, she could also be Bi or pan or whatever else but definitely sapphic. that's just my headcanon)
ok. Like I was shocked. Ofc Disney didn't stick with it tho
Second.
Tiana! Love her verse.
Why didn't they leave her in the movie.
She's an icon.
Third
Zellie again. Loved her verse too! But who is she?? Is she Rapunzel or is she Rapunzel's daughter? I mean it would make more sense if it were Rapunzel herself.
I NEED ANSWERS
Also her hair turning pink from the cupcake? Nice
Fourth.
Chloe again.
Not her crushing on a girl from the past 😭
That wouldn't work out. 😭
But like Red was also checking out Charming lol. (Chloe's face in that frame 😭😭 lol)
But she was just checking not really crushing.
Honestly I'm just rambling right now and trying not to repeat myself.
Idk if it makes sense.
But also Imagine if it is Rapunzel and then meeting her in the future. Awkward. But also I feel ya Chloe.
Fifth
The designs.
Most were cool. Some were creepy lol.
Like I found Chloe's hair cool! But I love her curls and locks more.
Also was the one person Ella? Why she look so depressed? Damn. Like the zoom in at her when Charming's part came.
Actually makes sense with her living conditions nevermind. Valid.
Also charming looks creepy.
Hades looks okay.
Morgie became He-Man.
Hook was fine. Reminds me of Harry. But the way they moved him was funny and His voice 😭 slay 💅🏼
And Maleficent was maleficent.
I LOVE THEM ALL. I'M NOT HATING ON THEM! it's just my thoughts! And it's also the storyboard. Which slay.
Also funny little mention.
I laughed at how Aladdin just flew in, took a cupcake, and flew away again. They probably would have talked in that scene? Idk but it was just funny. And the way he flexed 😭
Sixth
The left out/changed verses
Idk WHO said "Hey princess" but that was hot. and it was probably Bridget since it zoomed in on her. but idk the actual Person that said that
(Reminds me of Catra's "Hey Adora")
Also If Tiana is a Princess that means her and Prince Naveen are already together. Slay.
🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
CALL ME TIANA! I GOT THAT something water? RUNNING SO DEEP IN MY VEINS! 🤸
I CAN JAZZ IT UP ✨
DON'T YOU PASS IT UP 🫣
WHEN IT COMES TO MY BEIGNETS 🤤
🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
I would never pass on your beignets 🫡
I like it more than "CaLl Us jAlAdDin" even if it was kinda cute and funny.
Would have been fire in the movie.
(if this would be in the movie and the jaladdin part would be the other idee, I would not want to change it)
Next.
"Oh look 👀 there's Zelly 😒"
Why does it sound like that. Is it only me? Idk.
🎼🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
I'm just like my hair 🤫
Don't fit in anywhere 😶‍🌫️
And I can't say I mind it 😙
NoOoO I don't 💁🏼
🎼🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
Go off, girl! yeah! Speak your mind ✨🤸
Beautiful voice, I mean for the whole song really. Don't know who that is tho.
After that is the iconic gay panic from Chloe 😭😭😭
Why did they cut it 😒😭 not slay
We need Sapphic Chloe! 🫠
"Looking Good Zelly! The sun shines a little more- *enter the VKs music*"
Very funny. Would have loved that cut off.
Next.
🎵🎶🎵🎶
All I have to say is 😀
Stay out of Ursula's sister's way 😄
🎵🎶🎵🎶
Maleficent 🤠 what. was. that. 🤠
I mean I love that you have more lines and also it's very funny. But like. Personally, I like that they didn't keep that. But also, like I said. Funny.
I mean if it were
'stay out of Uliana's way'
Wouldn't be funny
Wouldn't have minded if they kept it like that either, now that I think about it. Anyway.
Next.
I do like that Uliana already snatched one cupcake. But the way it is right now is great too.
And that they got hit with the cupcakes. But then again. It would be annoying to clean.
"Wait, that's too many!" From Brigdet. I like that.
I liked them chasing Bridget more but
Uliana just running at her and Ella pulling her out of the way which makes only Uliana fall into the Fountain that was behind them was also funny.
The End
Thanks for listening to my rambles! ✨❤️
Byeee
Well reading.
If I forgot any changes (probably) or you also notice something fun or interesting I would love to hear it!
Imma watch the other storyboards later.
Here the links if you haven't seen them
Red
Love ain't it .
Don't spoil me for those two please 👀.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
stray kids as your halloween costume partner 🎃🕯️
disclaimer: the pictures are just meant as a reference ^^ feel free to alter it to your liking~
bang chan: the corpse bride and victor
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
sauur :(
you were balls-deep in some Loving Chris Juice when you suggested this
dude had NO IDEA how in love with him u were
so you kinda just
“haha we should dress as the corpse bride…jk…but we should”
Chan didn’t really say anything he just kinda shrugged his shoulders and agreed
you guys ended up going to a party chan had been invited to earlier in the month
which honestly kinda annoyed you since you had wanted to go trick-or-treating but didn’t say anything
The entire night you kinda just hovered around chan, inwardly crying whenever a person came to flirt with him
“you good?”
“yeah, just kinda bored since I don’t know anyone here”
“wanna go trick-or-treating? instead”
lee minho: gomez and morticia addams
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Minho took it seriously when you told him the addams family was your favourite movie
he promptly suggested you guys dress as gomez and morticia
even going as far as dyeing his hair black that night
“babe, c’mon. you know i’d look amazing in a suit,” he winked
there was really no arguing with minho once he had made up his mind about something
plus, he really did look good in a suit
cue you staring at his ass all night
you had both opted for giving out candy the entire night, dramatically opening the door together whenever you got a knock
halloween night was chill for the pair of you
you gave out candy
you made out a bunch
and you were knocked out in bed by 10 pm
seo changbin: rapunzel and flynn rider
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
LISTEN
you have had a vision since even BEFORE you started dating changbin
Changbin was the absolute embodiment of flynn
The Confidence? Check
The Charms? Check
The Face? Check
The Body? Check
The Absolute Need to be flirting with you? Check
not to mention how much of a softie he truly was
Changbin was absolutely perfect as flynn, you will not be taking any objections
he was absolutely down to wearing matching costumes with you
maybe even more excited than you to be dressed as flynn but anyway
you spent your night with your friends, having fun trick-or-treating and trading candies together
“you already know i hate reeses cups why are you trying to trade them with me!!”
one thing about changbin
he was going to whine about nothing
“Fine! Here! take me snickers!”
hwang hyunjin: howl and sophie
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I mean hello
Who are we Fooling here
Hyunjin Is Literally Howl
it was actually hyunjin that came up with the idea to dress as howl and sophie
He had started to grow out his hair the year before when you watched the movie to be able to dress as him
“YOU LOOK SO CUTE DRESSED A SOPHIE”
He wouldn’t stop hugging you
or shaking you by the shoulders
You were a little scared he was going to end up hurting you by accident with how much he was shaking you
“Hyunjin please let go of me”
“BUT YOU LOOK SO CUTE WITH YOUR GREY HAIR”
pls help idk why hyunjin’s is so hard to write for im sorry my hyune likers i tried
han jisung: raven and beast boy
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ok look
Jisung is a certified Alt Girl Lover™️
and who is more of an alt girl than the og raven
he couldn’t wait to bring the idea up to you
boy was literally shaking while explaining his idea to you
he was so excited lmao
As his best friend, you had no choice but to follow along
“Only if you go as beast boy”
“bro are you kidding? I’ve had the costume for like a week already?”
“did you buy me mine?”
“uh, no. get your own shit”
You did in fact make him buy you your costume on halloween night
He got it off craigslist and only washed it once :/
You ended up going to a club and getting drunk together
“Haha wouldn’t it be crazy if we kissed?”
“jisung , it this your way of asking to kiss me?”
“maybe”
lee felix: beauty and the beast
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I think felix would look prettier as belle”
seo changbin how could you
of course felix suggested you to be belle but your pride had already been hurt by then
so you just let him go as belle
He really did look prettier 😔
It was actually really fun going out in these costumes
A lot of little girls came up to take a picture with him
It was the cutest thing
He did end up asking you to change into your original belle costume you guys ended up going to later on in the night
“Y’know changbin was wrong, right?”
“Nah, you really are so pretty lix.”
suddenly you guys were all sappy for each other
How could u not when felix was dressed like a literal prince
You left the party early to go home and cuddle <3
kim seungmin: ghostface and michael myers
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The only one taking this halloween shit SERIOUSLY
at this point in your guys’ friendship, you knew better than to deny seungmin the pleasure of causing chaos
ofc being seungmin’s best friend meant going along with his shenanigans
No Questions Asked
so when he got to your apartment with a ghostface mask and black robe in hand you already knew what was up
“what are you going to be then?”
“your mom”
“Do Not speak on my mother you bitch”
anyway he didn’t end up telling you lmao
he waited until halloween to show you instead
“aren’t you a little too short to be michael myers?”
“I’m going to kill you with a rock”
seungmin spent the entire night terrorizing people like the menace he is
“just so you know, if you end up getting jumped I'm not helping your ass”
yang jeongin: papa smurf
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Is this a bad idea?”
“nah”
It Was A Bad Idea
the blue facepaint stained your face
for Three Days
you had to walk around campus with a blue face
because jeongin wanted to dress up as smurfs
You didn’t really think much about it the day of halloween while jeongin was painting your face
But afterward, you tried beating jeongin’s ass
You got made fun of by the rest of your friend group for being dumbasses but beside that you were pretty okay
All you can remember from halloween night is daring jeongin to climb onto the roof of the house you were at and cannonball into their pool
He missed by a few inches and broke his fibula because of how drunk he was
No regrets

dunno if that ask i was writing got sent or not, but here we go again:
since you like my Fnaf Rewrite, here are some Fun Facts about the Aftons and Emilys!
to start, the Afton Family:
so, i've heard the debate. "was William a good dad or did he fucking suck?" well...i've come up with a middle ground that i haven't seen people explore: William Does Genuinely Care For His Kids...But In An Unhealthy And Abusive Way.
like, i explain it one of two ways: imagine Mother Gothel from Tangled, but tone her down several notches, and if she had "good" intentions with protecting Rapunzel (of course, we've all heard the saying: The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions). the other way i'd explain it is by saying William Is A Toxic And Abusive Helicopter Parent.
he doesn't hit his kids. he doesn't yell at them. it's more emotional abuse and manipulation. like, most examples of emotional abuse with parents that i've found when looking it up have things like yelling and ignoring the kid, but uh. I Think Convincing (or trying to convince) Your Kid That Disobeying Your Orders Will Have Severe Negative Consequences, Such As An Injury Or Dying, As Well As Being Condescending About Your Children's Negative Emotions About All Of This ("you'll understand/thank me when you're older", for example), Still Counts!
William has five children! Alexander (who is "foxybro," so to speak), Michael, Evan (middle child, not the Crying Child), Elizabeth, and Cassidy (Crying Child).
Mrs. Afton (Claire) died over a day after giving birth to Cassidy :(
William is terrified of losing his children, which is why he's Like That (not an excuse, obviously).
why isn't Michael foxybro? listen, i want happy Mike and CC interactions...which is difficult to do with canon.
Michael and Cassidy have the unfortunate combination of anxiety and autism, which. Isn't Great To Have In This Household.
the Fredbear Plush was a gift from Charlie :] technically from Henry, but Charlie’s the one who gave it to Cass :]
Not A Single Person In This Family Is Neurotypical
Alex is actually the Fnaf 1-2 phone guy!
while Cassidy is a pretty quiet and anxious kid, That Doesn't Mean He Doesn't Have Some Bottled Up Anger. That Kid Is RESENTFUL.
Michael, Charlie, and Sammy were born a few months apart.
Alex doesn't really hate Cassidy, but, in his mind, Cassidy’s birth was what caused their mother's death, so in a sense, he thinks that everything that's happened is Cassidy’s fault to an extent. the problem is that his siblings heavily disagree with this and it doesn't help their dislike of him (because he's a jerk).
Mike is trans!!
Elizabeth is the only child who isn't (outwardly) traumatized. that isn't to say that the abuse hasn't screwed her up...it just means that no one's noticed that she's screwed up too, yet.
William has some bunny features!! his hair has some strands on top that look like bunny ears and bunny teeth (which Are a thing people can have. i'm just not able to draw them too accurately, so they look like Actual rabbit teeth). the only two kids that inherited those traits were Mike and Liz.
William would get very pissed if you so much as Imply he's hurting his kids with what he's doing. in his eyes, he's only doing what he's doing out of love, so could it really be that bad? (it is. it Very Much is)
and now, The Emily Family!
Henry’s a good dad in the Rewrite. both to contrast William and Because I Want To.
Henry’s ex-wife, Annabeth, and him got divorced because she discovered that she was a lesbian, and Henry didn't want her to stay in a relationship where she wasn't Happy. this isn't to say that don't care for each other, they just don't really love each other Romantically.
Charlie and Sammy are biracial!! Henry is white and Anna is black :]
y'know Charlie’s toy rabbit in the books, Theodore? fun fact! in the Rewrite, he was a toy shared by her and Sammy! (although Sammy was the one who played with him the most) he was actually the improved version of one of Henry’s own childhood toys: he actually calls it "Theodore 2.0"
both of the kids take after Henry's personality in some way: Charlie has Henry’s general temperament (calm and mature usually, but if they're Really pissed/stressed, You Will Know), whereas Sammy is socially awkward and quiet, typically preferring to keep to himself and work on his projects. both of them share Henry’s interest in robotics, though.
Charlie and Sammy dealt with...a Slight bullying problem, but were both generally well-liked. (< foreshadowing)
while Charlie is more associated with greens (especially bright green), stars, and stripes, Sammy is more associated with oranges and browns, fire/burning/the sun, and plaid.
Charlie is older than Sammy by seven minutes.
and two extra things!
1) the Emily and Afton kids viewed each other as siblings, pretty much.
2) there are only two murders William has any sort of real regret for (even if it isn't much): Charlie's and Cassidy’s :)
Oh! This is so cool! I think the way you're doing William is great, too, especially since there is this weird middle ground in some stuff of "William does seem to have genuine care for his kids, but also, who would send their kid to a place like Sister Location knowing it might kill them?"
Love the stuff with the relationship between the Afton and Emily families a lot, too!

bestie i am intrigued by this Xmen rotbtd au you mentioned
like,
Tumblr media
you have captured my attention. i am all ears... pray tell what are you ideas for it??? I would very much like to hear them
Okay so devastating news, I can't find it. This is probably why I should stop writing AUs and parts of fics in my notes app but oh well I'll tell you what I can remember
Tumblr media
It was like a shameless cringe (affectionate) superpowers au with the four of them as mutants. I'm pretty sure like all I had for it so far was their powers. Rapunzel's and Jack's are still the same (which feels kinda basic but I couldn't figure out anything better, though jack would likely be unable to fly bc at least how I interpret it is its more like getting a favor from a friend–the wind–so in a universe where it's not its own sentient entity it wouldn't work if that makes sense?) So healing hair and ice. Meridas were trajectory manipulation and Hiccups were like. Extreme empathy. And by extreme I mean feeling and affecting other's emotions to a degree where it could technically be considered mind control which he hates and has only ever done once also if works better with animals. And like Jack and Merida I think were the only ones whose abilities didn't have drawbacks other than just feeling tired. Hiccup gets super nauseous if he uses his for a long time and after healing something like a broken bone Rapunzel passes out for a few hours.
Merida, whos extremely bored since she's been disqualified from competitive archery due to her unfair advantage, tries to convince her friends to became vigilantes bc of course that's the normal thing to do when your bored and also totally not to spite your mother. Jack is on board immediately Rapunzel takes some convincing but ultimately joins them to make sure they don't get hurt. Hiccup wants to join and does but gets caught (his clumsy ass cannot move silently) sneaking out and is essentially put under house arrest.
I think Stoick was a politician or at least in some position of power and was verrryy deep in denial about his son being a mutant.
That's about all I can remember

Hi! I see where U reblogged my tangled crit posts 👀
I dont hate it, it just doesnt hit as well as it should. I prefer the barbie version. And I prefer Disney Rapunzel with ROTG Jack because not only they the same age but i find the parallels a bit more fascinating.
I remember seeing a arrow toy Rapunzel themed at Target, just recently I found out she was going to use a bow and arrow beforehand XD much much cooler than a frying pan!
Which begs to question! Why is the franchise so off with its girl characters? Gothel's entire motivation is staying young, Cass ended up a mess, Ariana is underwritten. And Rapunzel barely has another girl her age to hang out with. It's just Cass.
I get it. I disliked the movie at first because of the movie itself and how badly it was written but I started to hate the movie because of the rabid, racist fans and how badly they treated patf just to prop this movie up back in the day. The fandom is still pretty bad from what I seen.
The Barbie version is one of the best adaptations of rapunzel I have ever seen. It’s so good and it holds up perfectly well today except for the animation of course. If you get a chance, you should check out rapunzel’s revenge. It’s a great rapunzel comic and Disney took elements from that version as well.
I definitely agreed that Jack Frost and rapunzel would make a good couple. I liked them way better than him and Elsa and definitely would be way better than creepy dream.
Oh I saw that now in stores and I wonder why they made it when Merida is right there. I did hear that the series writers wanted her to have the bow and arrow but Disney didn’t like that idea. Probably because they wanted her to be helpless and didn’t want her to be taken seriously with a weapon. I remember looking at some Lego sets and I saw that rapunzel had a bow in a set for the series. So I think that rumor was true. Yeah, I would like the bow and arrow way better than that dumb frying pan. I guess it doesn’t matter since rapunzel wasn’t shown as a threat with the frying pan and it was more Flynn’s weapon in the movie.
Yeah, it’s so weird how this franchise is targeted towards little girls and all the female characters in it is just off and can be really offensive. Gothel is a walking outdated stereotype of many, rapunzel has no flaws, gets overshadowed in her OWN movie and couldn’t even drive the plot of the movie! It’s hard to believe this movie was made in 2010, it belongs in the 50s.
I have limited knowledge of the series characters but is cass the one who they made a villain and has blue hair like she’s some anime character? If so, It’s bad because I think I seen people say that she’s a villain because of how she looks and they turned a friendship into a bitter one just in a sake of something dumb. Do the writers think that girls have to be catty to each other or else it’s unrealistic? It’s a weird choice for a franchise targeted towards little girls. Ariana is the queen, right? I think I reblog a post about cultural appropriation in the movie and they mentioned her name. But really? They could have had a good plot point about rapunzel and her getting used to a good mother after what she’s been through. But they thought it was better just to focus on the king, have him be even more abusive to rapunzel than gothel was (reading her diary, following her everywhere and locking her up in a fucking tower after she just got out of one!!) and say that it’s ok because he’s doing it because he loves her.. I also “love” how the queen basically did nothing about this and just say supportive things rapunzel behind the king’s back like that means anything. Disney really needs to hire women for this franchise because this is just embarrassing and sad in this day and age.

Song: Good to Be Alive - PVRIS
Learning how to swim but the lands are dry Feeling like a shark, If I stop I'll die Things are lit and the blood's on fire Underneath the buzz of the telephone wire All my friends are doing fine While I’m looking for a sign Is this body even mine? Feels good to be alive but I hate my life
Onboarding with the Avengers was akin to drinking from a firehose.
Every waking moment was full - between orientation at the SHIELD Hospital, procedural trainings, mission briefings, and combat simulations, Theo hardly had a moment to breathe, much less think.
Either way, Theo had no interest in showing that the rapid pace was throwing her off her game. Instead, she bit her tongue and kept her wits about her, vigilant for even the slightest indication that something was amiss. Theo wouldn’t speak unless spoken to, and if spoken to she gave the impression of polite compliance - now that she was in the thick of things, stirring the pot would only make it harder to get this over with.
However, there was one element which she protested… Despite her insistence otherwise, part of Theo’s onboarding required being equipped with new armor.
She hadn’t needed armor before, so it seemed silly. If anything, she needed clothes that let her move freely and without detection. However, Fury insisted that Theo needed additional protection in the event that her magic wasn’t enough. The result was Theo, standing in Tony Stark’s lab, regretting every decision that led her to that moment as the overly smug engineer combed over her appearance with a shit eating grin.
“So, Rapunzel-” Tony leaned back against a table in his lab, crossing his arms. “I hear you need some armor.”
“That depends on who you ask.” Theo’s eyes scanned the room as she crossed her arms, leaning her weight on one foot. “Fury sure thinks so. I’m not convinced.”
It seemed like a standard engineering lab. A mixture of concrete, steel, and glass surrounded them, while harsh lights glared down from above. Scattered around the lab were more computers and machines than anyone knew what to do with, and various employees mulling about as they worked on assorted tasks. One person sautered metal, while another ran tests on what Theo could only assume was the newest rendition of Tony’s infamous suit. Clattering keys, clanking metal, and multiple beeps echoed throughout the sterile space. A metallic smell, tinged with chemicals and burning filled the air.
“Well, that’s where I come in.” Tony winked, picking up some kind of glass tablet and waving it at her. “If you ask nicely, I might even let you customize it.”
Theo rolled her eyes. “Asking you nicely sounds like too much work.”
“Don’t listen to him.” A woman appeared from around the corner, walking up to the pair with a swagger and a blinding smile that contrasted her umber skin. Her braided hair was twisted up into space buns, which combined with her brightly colored outfit made it painfully obvious just who Theo was speaking to. “I’ll make you better armor, and I’ll let you add whatever features you want without having to ask.”
Shuri Udaku, the princess of Wakanda.
For the first time that Theo could remember, she was, officially, starstruck.
“We haven’t officially met…” Theo offered a wry smile and nod to the princess, doing her best to keep her cool.
“I’m Shuri, princess of Wakanda and head of the Wakandan Design Group.” She stuck a hand out to shake, smiling brightly with just a hint of something amusing in her eyes. “Colonizing gave him a big ego, but what he would make is nothing compared to what I can make you.”
Theo couldn’t stifle the laugh that bubbled out of her from the dig at Tony.
“Oh, I like you. I’m Theo.” She took Shuri’s hand, offering a firm shake while praying her hands weren’t too sweaty.
Tony pouted, giving Shuri a dirty look; Shuri smirked at him.
“So what does this armor making process entail?” Theo glanced between the pair, waiting for further instruction.
“First, we’ll have you spar with one of our guys; get a sense for your style. From there, we’ll draw up a base set. You’ll give it a trial run, push the boundaries so we can see what works and what needs adjusting.” Tony explained, watching Theo as she continued observing her surroundings. “Then, we’ll make a final version.”
“Okay…” Given Shuri’s comments on building better armor, Theo suspected Shuri wasn’t her partner. Then again, it didn’t look like anyone there was ready to practice fighting - certainly none of the lab staff, who all but ignored Theo’s presence. Maybe she would be fighting Tony or one of his robots?
“Okay what?” Tony tapped on the tablet a few times.
“Am I sparring now?” Theo raised her eyebrows at him expectantly as she shrugged, glancing around the room. “I don’t see anyone who looks like they’re ready to fight, much less a space to fight in. Unless you want me to break your equipment, which is probably pretty expensive… Then again, you’re the Avengers’ Sugar Daddy. It’s probably pocket change for you to replace these.”
Shuri snorted at Theo’s comment.
“You’re not fighting here.” Tony rolled his eyes, pressing away from the table and gesturing for Theo to follow. “We have a training lab. Your partner will meet you there.”
That explained why she was told to come to the lab in clothes she could exercise in. Theo trailed behind, almost having to jog in order to keep up with Tony. “Who am I sparring against?”
Tony stopped in front of a door, pressing some sort of code into a keypad on the wall. The door hissed as it slid open, revealing none other than Captain America himself.
Oh shit.
Steve smiled, waving to the trio as they entered. Theo, on the other hand, froze in place, her stomach dropping into her feet. Couldn’t they have picked someone with magic, at least?
“He’ll go easy on you to start.” Tony winked, turning to lead them into another room.
Theo’s face must have betrayed her reaction - this was not going to go well, but not for the reason Tony Stark thought.
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Theo gulped, eyes darting between the others.
“We’ll start simple.” Steve reassured her, following along with the group.
Fury must have held back on explaining Theo’s abilities if he was so calm about their impending duel.
The room that Tony brought them to was empty, save for a collection of cameras around the room and a table filled with sheets of stickers, each no larger than a pea. Mats covered the floor, presumably so that anyone who went down fighting was less likely to be hurt.
Cute, but a few mats weren’t going to be much help when it came to fighting a mage.
“So, how this works: the cameras will track your motion.” After gesturing to cameras around the room, Tony held up a sheet of stickers. ”These will be stuck to you so we can get a sense of your movements. You fight, then we use the data to design your gear.”
The thought of sensors stuck all over her body made her cringe. Of the many roles she expected to fill, lab rat was not one of them.
Fury fucking owed her for this.
“Oh joy...” Theo sighed, resigning herself to her fate. “Fine, let’s do this.”
Shuri brushed past Tony, grabbing the sensors. “I will handle this - I have just the touch.” She smirked at Theo. As she began to place the sensors, she leaned into Theo and whispered, “Kick his ass - I can fix broken white boys.”
Yes, Shuri was her kind of person.
Theo snickered, but held still so Shuri could continue placing sensors. Shuri made quick work of the task, her touch gentle but firm as she secured each device to Theo’s skin.
Once all the sensors were in place, they were ready to begin.
“In the interest of full disclosure, I’ve never ‘just sparred’ before.” Theo spoke up, circling around Steve.
She absolutely had sparred before - hundreds of times. But this way, if she accidentally went too far, she had an excuse. Besides, Steve didn’t have magic, and only fought with a shield.
Really, this was not a fair fight.
“I’m durable, don’t worry.” Steve offered a charming smile. “I can do this all day.”
Theo shook her head, gesturing with one hand to conjure her weapon. Runes slid down her arm, twisting around each other in the air until a blade of shadow appeared in her hand. “I’ve dulled my weapon so it’s not going to slice you open, at least.”
“Awfully kind,” Steve winked, lowering himself into a ready stance. “Ladies first.”
Well, here goes nothing.
Theo took a deep breath, stepping forward and offering the first swing.
Steve leapt back, darting forward to attempt a blow of his own.
Theo nimbly jumped to the side, swinging her blade down and landing clean on Steve’s back.
As Steve was knocked to the ground he spun around, attempting to kick out Theo’s feet from beneath her.
Theo leapt over his kick, pressing forward to a somersault in time to pop up and block a punch, taking another swing with her blade.
The two fell into a rhythm of trading blows. Steve certainly had his merits as a fighter - if they were in hand-to-hand combat, he easily could have kicked her ass. But this wasn’t hand to hand combat - Theo had her weapon to give her some distance, and if nothing else she was damn good at dodging anything and everything that attempted to hurt or kill her.
If this was all that was involved, she could do this all day… Well, as long as her lungs held up okay.
“Are you going to use any of your magic?” Steve grunted, dodging a blow from Theo as he kicked at her.
“I try to only use it against other magic users.” Theo replied, bringing her blade down to block the kick.
As if he took Theo’s response as a challenge, Steve picked up the pace. Still, Theo had yet to break a sweat. What she lacked in brute strength, she more than made up for in endurance and agility.
The sensation of being watched by someone new led Theo to do a scan of her surroundings as she blocked a punch from Steve.
Her instinct was spot on - not just one person, but three new people. Maybe it was a bit of ego, or a flair for the dramatic, but if there was a larger audience… Well, Theo could show off a little bit and it wouldn’t hurt anyone.
“It seems we have an audience…” Theo commented, tumbling backwards before teleporting behind Steve and hitting him from behind.
“I thought you didn’t use magic against non-magic users.” Steve coughed, then spun around to find her smirking at him.
Steve threw a punch, only to have it go right through her - it was an illusion. He frantically scanned the room again to find Theo leaning up against the wall, arms crossed as she dangled her sword from her right hand.
“Well, we have an audience.” She repeated with a wry shrug, pointing to the new arrivals with her blade. “Can’t let the new girl disappoint.”
Standing in the entrance, Wanda, Bucky, and Loki watched the two spar. Wanda appeared to be amused by the interaction; Bucky was laughing at Steve, and Loki…
Well, Theo wasn’t sure if he was amused, unimpressed, or bored.
“Alright, so this should get interesting now, right?” Steve turned to face Theo again, straightening up and squaring his shoulders.
“Perhaps.” Theo kept a straight face as she pushed off the wall, preparing for Steve’s next move.
“Theo, remember what I said – I can fix broken white boys!” Shuri jeered.
A smirk flickered across Theo’s lips.
Bucky doubled over, howling with laughter as Steve let out a huff.
As long as she stuck to the celestial magic, she’d be fine.
Steve rushed towards her.
Adrenaline rushed through Theo’s veins. It had been a while since she’d really had a chance to show what she could do; the prospect of flexing her skills felt almost liberating.
No, she needed to keep it under wraps.
Singing under her breath, a wisp of white shot through her sword. Once Theo stopped, the melody continued to reverberate from the blade, haunting yet almost impossible to hear.
Steve launched forward to throw a blow, but Theo was too quick - she spun and took him down from behind with the hilt of the sword.
“Is your sword singing?”
“Magicians don’t reveal their secrets,” Theo winked. She jumped back, curling her fingers to gesture for Steve to come get her.
Steve rushed forward, only to find himself shocked with cosmic energy. What the-?” He froze mid-motion, dropping to the ground. “
Shit.
“I didn’t hurt you too bad, did I?” Theo dryly inquired, cocking her head to the side.
That was too strong.
“Well, it wasn’t pleasant…” Steve shook his head, staggering briefly before he returned to his feet. “It’s fine - I can do this all day.”
Yeah, that was stronger than it should have been. But why?
“Sorry, I’ll try to temper it a bit,” Theo apologized, while praying it wasn’t obvious that she used more than she intended.
“Don’t go easy on me.” Regaining his composure, Steve resumed charging at her and throwing blows. Theo took a more defensive approach, focusing solely on dodging blows instead of doing damage while she tried to figure out what made her spell so potent.
“Not to be weird, but what phase is the moon in right now?” Theo tried to make the question as casual as possible, hoping it would come off as small talk and nothing more.
“Don’t tell me you do that horoscope shit.” Tony groaned from the sideline.
“There’s nothing wrong with horoscopes, grandpa.” Theo feigned offense, but she was grateful for Tony’s ignorance as to why she might ask the question. “Besides, Astrology is more real than the stock market.”
Shuri snorted.
“It’s a new moon tonight,” Wanda answered. Theo glanced over to catch the Scarlet Witch staring at her phone, lips pursed as she studied whatever was on the screen.
Well, that explained the magic surge.
“Good to know.” Theo kept a casual tone to her voice, rhythmically moving as she dodged and parried Steve’s attacks.
They sparred for another few minutes; Theo continued to stay away from offensive spells, but occasionally threw in an illusion or teleported so they wouldn’t suspect anything. Even if she wasn’t giving them the best data to build her gear with, she wasn’t going to pull out all the stops until it was actually necessary.
Besides, she didn’t really need the armor in the first place.
“Alright Rapunzel, I think we’ve got enough data to start.” Tony announced, tapping the screen of his tablet with a flourish..
Steve dropped his offensive stance, straightening up while he caught his breath.
“Good match.” The friendly smile Steve flashed indicated that he didn’t seem too upset about being shocked.
“Likewise.” Theo returned the nod as her shadow blade vanished.
All in all, it wasn’t the most intense workout she’d ever had, but she did get a bit sweaty and was a little out of breath. Maybe Steve was stronger than she gave him credit for. After all, he was a super soldier.
Then again, she assumed that fighting a super soldier would require enough exertion to make her asthma flare up; given she was still breathing alright, perhaps he also went easy on her.
Whatever - she wasn’t going to dwell on the subject.
Shuri returned to help remove the sensors.
“You held back on him.” She raised an eyebrow at Theo, sending the sorceress a pointed glance before stepping behind Theo to remove the sensors on her back.
Unsure of how else to respond, Theo simply shrugged. “I don’t need to add to my body count.”
Shuri sighed, skepticism written on her features as she leaned around Theo to set the sensors on the table. Perhaps the princess had a better sense of Theo’s powers than she let on. “I told you, I can fix broken white boys.”
Yeah, but she couldn’t fix a pile of dust.
“I don’t think killing Captain America would be a good way to start my tenure as an Avenger…” Theo raised a challenging brow.
Shuri laughed; apparently she thought it was a joke. Theo offered a thin smile.
“One of these days I will get you down here and test you without limits so I can design you the ultimate armor.” Shuri chided, though she still smiled at the newcomer.
Theo offered a curt nod. “Maybe.”
Shuri’s expression told Theo that she took the answer as a challenge.
At the sensation of a bead of sweat trickling down her temple, Theo grabbed the hem of her t-shirt and yanked it up to dry her skin. As she dropped the fabric, she caught Loki studying her. A sense of curiosity peeked through his piercing gaze, cool green eyes glinting beneath the lights.
Theo wondered what ran through his mind. Was he trying to figure out if she was actually a threat? Or was he more focused on where she came from?
Once the sensors were off, Theo started towards the door. She had no interest in socializing, plus she wanted nothing more than to shower and wash the sticky, gritty sweat off her skin.
“Hey Theo, we’re about to head to dinner - do you want to come?”
Enthusiasm colored Wanda’s voice; when Theo turned to face the witch she found Wanda smiling hesitantly, hands shoved in the pockets of her hoodie.
“I appreciate the offer, but I think I’m going to pass,” Theo feigned an interest in the invite, even as she turned it down. “I’m still getting settled in and all.”
A pang of guilt shot up in Theo at the sight of Wanda’s falling face. She could empathize with the pain of rejection; there were countless times when Theo was a little girl when she asked Rae to play with her, but Rae would decline because she was busy with lessons and far too old to play games. Back then, Theo was too small to understand why, but she could still feel how her chest would twist from being turned down.
This, however, was different. Between the appearances at her show, the game, and the invites to hang out, it was obvious that Wanda had ulterior motives. After all, Theo was there when Fury told the Avengers that their mission was to get Theo to stay - and what better way to rope her in than to try and be her friend?
Rather than dwell on the matter, she offered a small wave and hurried out of the lab.
This could not be over fast enough.
Lost big dreams that I really don't need Everything I love is gonna find a way to leave Got good friends that I never can see Always on the run while my plans are free I been staying up all night Shaking needles out my spine But the doctor says I'm fine Feels good to be alive but I hate my life
Living on-site was a non-negotiable of the deal (much to Theo’s dismay), but she had to admit it was convenient - she never had to worry about shit going down on the subway when her workplace was an elevator ride away.
Regardless of where she actually lived, there was one thing she needed to do before anything else: set up a portal to her Mémère’s house. The ritual of creating one long-term portal was tedious, but once set up the long-term portal’s convenience far outweighed the nuisance. Theo visited the family’s matriarch often enough that having a travel method faster than public transit was a necessity, especially with the distance between them. After all, it wasn’t like she had the time to fly back and forth between northern Michigan and New York every weekend.
Creating the portal wasn’t hard; the big challenge was figuring out where to put it. She didn’t want it in her bedroom, since Mémère and Max occasionally used the portals she set up to come visit and the last thing she needed was for them to walk in on her in any number of compromising positions. However, she didn’t want to set it in a location where people would question why she had a misty oval in her wall. After an unnecessary amount of debate, she opted to place it along one of the walls in her main room and take advantage of some well-placed curtains to hide the addition.
With the portal in place, it was time for a field trip.
The crisp air of northern Michigan was a far cry from New York’s heavy, thick skies. It was easier to breathe - not just because there was a lot less pollution, which was notable for someone like Theo, whose lungs were sensitive to smog - but because the nearly silent, still world around her made it easier for the tension to melt from her shoulders and to relax with each inhale and exhale. Michigan was the opposite of New York City, a constantly bustling metropolis where it was all too easy to get lost in the shuffle.
Theo stepped through the portal to find herself in her grandmother’s equipment shed. That was intentional - no one would think to look there for a portal. Weaving between the farm equipment, she pushed the worn wooden door open and stepped outside.
Around her, the evergreens that towered above swayed in the breeze, wind whispering through the branches. In front of her stood the farmhouse, with white weathered siding, wide windows, and a wraparound porch that Theo had spent countless nights sitting on. To her left, a worn path led from the porch down to a small beach with a dock, while the waves of Lake Superior lapped up on the shore. She didn’t have to look behind her to know an old, worn out barn stood in its same place, though it had been years since any animals were kept inside.
Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted two vehicles parked along the dirt drive - a red pickup truck and a green subaru outback.
Max must have been visiting.
Theo crossed the distance and ascended onto the porch, approached the front door, gripped the worn brass door knob and turned the handle, pushing her way inside.
“Hello?” Poking her head inside, Theo glanced around the living room to find it empty. She stepped inside, closed the door, and toed off her shoes. The sound of clattering dishes echoed from the kitchen, while two voices floated above in animated conversation.
“Ah, my bichette!” A raspy voice called out, followed by the shuffling of feet. Just before Theo reached the hallway, a petite elderly woman appeared.
Mémère had seen more than her fair share of life in her many years on Earth, and it showed. Her tan, papery skin held deep wrinkles and age spots dotted themselves across her cheeks and forehead. In the almost fifteen years since Theo had left for college, the matriarch of the Durand family had aged considerably - every time Theo saw her, she swore that Mémère shrunk another inch. Mémère moved considerably slower than in the past, undoubtedly her advanced age catching up to her. Still, she had a bright spark in her amber eyes and a sharp wit that could not be deterred.
“Hi Mémère,” Theo greeted, embracing her grandmother. Though it had only been a week or so since they’d last been together, it seemed like the elderly woman’s bones were even more prominent, jutting into Theo’s flesh as they hugged. “I saw Max’s car outside - is he here too?”
“Of course I am.” Max appeared over Mémère’s shoulder, arching an eyebrow at his older cousin. “One of us has to keep things in order while you’re off playing superhero.”
“Oh come on, it’s not like–”
“Now now, I do not need you two squabbling to take up my Saturday,” Mémère said, pointedly glaring at the cousins before gesturing for everyone to enter the kitchen. “You both are doing wonderful things, and I’m happy to have you both home. I’ll put some coffee on and we can all catch up. Leenie, have you had lunch? I don’t have many options at the moment, but I can make sandwiches.”
“You’re not going to ask if I’ve had lunch?” Max scoffed, to which Mémère rolled her eyes.
“My caneton, you’ve been here all morning. I know you haven’t had lunch.”
“Sandwich sounds lovely.” Theo answered, trying not to laugh at Max’s feigned offense.
As they stepped into the kitchen, everything was familiar - the same butcher block countertops, the same painted cabinets. Holiday cards were stuck to the fridge with magnets, and a picture of Theo at her college graduation still hung on the door. Things were so much simpler then.
“So, tell us all about your first days as an Avenger - are you settling in? Have you made any friends?” Mémère gave her a knowing wink, making her way to grab sandwich meat and cheese from the fridge. Theo retrieved plates out of the cabinet, setting them on the counter.
Theo couldn’t stop herself from laughing at Mémère’s questions. “I’m not really there to make friends, Mémère.”
“No, but you have to live and work with them.” Even if she moved a bit slower than she did ten years ago, Mémère was still sharp enough to pick up on Theo’s unspoken hesitations. “You’d be smart to befriend them, or you may be miserable for the foreseeable future.”
Sure, Mémère was probably right, but Theo was not about to admit that aloud.
“How are you handling things out here?” Theo changed the subject. “The shed looks like it’s seen better days.”
“Oh, things are fine - Max comes by almost daily to help with things around the farm; he also helps with running errands and such.” Mémère waved a hand dismissively, while Max gave Theo a shit eating grin. “Father Tim - you remember him - he’s also around a lot to help with things.”
Surprisingly, Max did not interject with some snarky comment.
Theo nodded. “And you’ve been okay, health-wise?”
Mémère smiled, though Theo picked up a hint of sadness in her eyes. “I’m fine, bichette. Still kicking. Still here to tease you endlessly.”
Theo laughed softly, shaking her head. “I can’t imagine you doing anything else...”
A silence fell in the room as the final condiments were set out on the countertop.
“This is less fancy than the restaurants you probably go to in New York, but hopefully it still tastes good.” Mémère joked, gesturing to the spread of sandwich toppings. “I’ll let you build your own, so it’s just how you want.”
Theo laughed. “Just because I agreed to join the Avengers doesn’t mean I now scoff at a sandwich.”
While Theo and Max put their sandwiches together, Mémère made sure they each had a cup of coffee poured and at the table. Once the trio assembled their meals, they each took their regular chairs at the kitchen table.
“What have you done so far?”
“Nothing exciting, really.” Theo palmed the ceramic mug in front of her, eyes following the curls of steam as they floated upward. “A lot of onboarding crap. I was supposed to spar with Captain America and that was, uh, interesting. Next week I’m supposed to start doing interviews and shit, but I don’t really get why I’d waste my time with those when I have actual work to do.”
“Told you, playing superhero.” Max interjected, to which Theo scowled.
“I don’t think it’s a waste.” Mémère mused. “Now the world can learn of your gifts. You’ve spent far too long trying to conceal them.”
Mémère always thought the best of Theo, and that went for her magic as well. Despite disagreeing, Theo gave up on trying to convince her otherwise a long time ago.
“Are they gifts?” Theo pondered, studying the barn through the window panes. “There are a lot of people who think they’re curses.”
“They are what you choose to make them.” Mémère reminded her granddaughter. “You’ve chosen to make them gifts, to use them to help people.”
Theo nodded, though she didn’t entirely agree with Mémère’s assessment. She knew Max probably didn’t agree either. The council certainly didn’t.
“How’s work, Max?” Theo tried to change the subject.
“It’s fine.” Max paused to take a bite of his sandwich. “No complaints.”
“And Ellie, Katie? How are they?”
“Good. Katie’s daycare is now preparing her to start preschool.”
Theo nearly dropped her coffee cup at the news.
“Seriously? She’s a toddler.”
“She’s three, and she’s way ahead of her developmental milestones. The staff think it’s a good idea. Ellie agrees. She’s a pediatrician, so it’s her job to know that kind of stuff.” Max shrugged as if he was completely unaffected by the prospect of his child starting preschool.
“This is what happens when two doctors have a baby, I guess.” Theo muttered to herself.
Theo may have been the one in the Avengers, but Max was always the responsible and cautious one. It was pretty common for the council members to lament that Theo was the next in line - they claimed it was because she was a loose cannon and unpredictable; that wasn’t the real reason, but none of them would admit the truth to Theo or Mémère’s faces. Still, they weren’t wrong when they pointed out that Max was steadfast and rational. He naturally embodied the characteristics of a wise leader.
Maybe that’s why he was so pissy about her accepting the Avengers gig - until that point, Theo was the one living in Max’s shadow.
Mémère must have sensed the tension between cousins, because she took over the conversation from there. Even if things between Theo and Max were always tense, conversation with Mémère came easily. Beyond trying to catch up on what had happened in Michigan since Theo’s last visit, Mémère had plenty of her own questions about Theo’s transition to being an Avenger.
Even if they weren’t Theo’s favorite questions, she owed Mémère real answers.
Once they finished their sandwiches, Theo stood and collected the dirty plates, bringing them to the sink so she could wash them.
“How long are you visiting for?” Mémère asked, still sitting at the table.
“Just the afternoon - figured I’d use my first moment of free time since starting to see how things were here, plus grab some stuff to bring back with me.” Theo said, letting out a sigh. “I didn’t tell anyone I was leaving, so I imagine I don’t have long before they start looking for me. They’re kind of obsessive like that.”
“Well, you know where your room is - It’s always ready, whenever you need it. Feel free to head up whenever.”
Given Theo could hardly sneak away for an afternoon, she found it hard to imagine she’d need the bed anytime soon.
Setting the last plate on the drying rack, Theo made her way upstairs. Over all the years she had been here, the whole house had barely changed - same furniture, same photos, same faded wallpaper covering the walls. Her feet carried her down the hall, almost on autopilot as she made her way to her old bedroom. Standing in front of the entrance, Theo took a deep breath, turned the knob and opened the door.
Inside, the room was still a breath of fresh air - pale yellow walls, big windows with sheer curtains. A queen size bed with a patchwork quilt sat in one corner; one of Theo’s old guitars from when she was here before remained in another corner. Her old Van Gogh poster was still on the wall above her dresser.
Despite remaining exactly as she left it, there was no dust to be found - Mémère must have cleaned the room while she was gone.
She always kept the room ready in case Theo needed to come home.
Theo’s heart twisted at the thought. It was almost enough for her to say “fuck it” and stay – at least for one night. After all, it had been a long time since she actually visited for more than a day or two, and the Avengers needed her, not the other way around; she could make them wait.
However, her cell phone quickly reminded her that wasn’t an option.
“Anyone seen Rapunzel?” The Avengers group chat lit up.
Theo rolled her eyes, but replied anyway.  “Visiting a friend. Be back later.”
Whether she wanted to or not, Theo knew - the show must go on.
So tied up and tired of this self-inflicted fight In spite of, I light up, to leave my demons I tell myself I'm fine while I'm looking for a sign Is this body even mine? Feels good to be alive but I hate my life

You should tell me about your tangled oc because I'm making a tangled oc and they can be friends uwu
GDUSUDISJSUAI I WILL INDEED HAPPILY TELL YOU!!! (in return for information on your oc)
Florian Leseratte is first introduced as the castle librarian's apprentice, although because the librarian is quite old he pretty much functions as the overall librarian despite being around Varian's age.
During the first half-ish of series one his arc is sort of him coming out of his shell, he acts as a reassurance to Cass, a point of information to Rapunzel and a helper to Varian. During the events of Queen for a Day, he mostly stays with Varian but gets scared and flees when Varian gets all emo.
Also during series one there's a prophecy teased about a secret prince (Rapunzel will still become queen though bc I can do what I want, idc about primogeniture)
I have talked about it like once before but it goes:
Closer than you think he may/The son of Frederick lies/Discovered by the golden tears/That leak from both his eyes
It's set up to tease Varian as the secret prince but at the end of The Alchemist Returns we see Florian crying alone in the library, with a single shot of a golden tear. This is then majorly revealed during Secret of the Sun Drop when he starts crying due to fear.
Series two for him is coming to terms with what happened, and there's a lot of exposition. We find out that after what happened to Rapunzel, Frederick feared the worst and basically handed off Florian to the servants and told Arianna that their baby had been taken seriously ill and passed when she was asleep.
There's also a point midway through the series when the librarian passes away and Florian has to choose whether he becomes a proper prince like his father wants or the head librarian. (He chooses the library ofc.)
He visits Varian in prison at some point in the first few episodes, and they have a super cute duet through the bars of Varian's cell, before he helps Varian escape prison.
In series three his arc is overcoming his fear of making mistakes, especially in the fact that he blames himself the most for Cass' corruption. He is super happy to have Varian back though and is a massive help in the kingdom forgiving him. This series is very much them becoming quite couple-y together and gets a lot of use out of how they fuel each other's talents.
Florian absolutely tags along for Vat7k, there's probably a shot of him with heart eyes after hearing the word 'library' and he's immediately sold on the quest. His role in the group is mediator- he gets on with pretty much everyone, although Hugo kinda hates him for how close he is to Varian.
His arc is mainly focused on how he's joining the quest because he's desperate to get away from Corona, and he realises at the end of it that actually he was running away from his title of Prince. Through Nuru and other royals they meet he finally realises that there is no one way to be a royal and at the climax he uses his title and ties to the kingdom's old magic to amplify the work done by Hugo and Varian. (Valorigo forever btw!!!)
If I had to pick a voice claim, I think Ryan Kopel would fit super well, especially as Florian has a lot of really good songs, his big 'I Am' song being "My Duty", sung during series two. He also has his and Varian's duet- "Something Breaks" and a few songs in Vat7k like "Can We Get Along For Once?" and "Mightier Than".
He's a little taller than Hugo and has shoulder-length wavy brown hair which Varian sometimes plaits when he needs to think. He's got lots of freckles and glasses and grey eyes. (yeah he's maaaaybe based off me. a little bit. a lot.) He wears mostly yellows and usually has a cardigan with him in a casual setting, otherwise a knitted waistcoat. Hugo's nickname for him is "Bookworm" or "Grandma" and Varian's is "Flor" or "Princey".
Fun fact: once I was really sleep deprived and half asleep in my German class and I looked down at the textbook and the name Florian was there (this is after I'd chosen the name) and I was immediately wide awake and also freaked out.
Also other fun fact: His surname is a way of saying bookworm in Germany. Technically his surname is "of Corona" after series one but eh he doesn't gaf and neither would the fans.

I really find it weird that Rapunzel’s outfit in Ralph Breaks the Internet has shoes, when she doesn’t enjoy them. What do you think of that outfit?
I hate the shoes, especially since Ariel (who does wear shoes as a human) and Moana don't wear shoes, so they clearly had no issue making some of the girls barefoot. They didn't even give her slip-ons, which are easy to ditch! Oh no, they gave her lace-up sneakers; snug-fitting and takes a little doing to get rid of!
I mean, the rest of the outfit is cute as hell, though I'm positive they gave her a hoodie for the lolz of having all that hair cascading out of it. If I had been the one designing her casual modern outfit, it never would have looked like that, but I'm not a professional costume designer for animation.

***Drain the whole sea, get something shiny***
Kya slept on the floor of Omega’s room, blue arms bare and wrapped around a pillow. Her curls spilled across the little pallet she’d made for herself, knees drawn up and ankles crossed. Fives sat on the steps to the gunner’s mount, watching her dream.
They’d been with the Batch for a couple of weeks now, settling into a kind of routine. He ran missions with the guys to keep their employer Cid happy. Kya mostly stayed on the ship, quiet and out of the way. He’d told her not to tell Cid who she was, in case his assessment that the trandoshan was a vicious opportunist that would sell them out to the Empire for a handful of credits was correct. He would have liked Echo to get the hell out of this situation, but he also understood why Hunter hadn’t pulled them out. The only option was a rebellion with Rex, which didn’t seem like a great place for Omega.
It didn’t seem like a great place for Kya either, but he hadn’t talked to her about it. They hadn’t talked much, really. She busied herself with the few domestic skills she’d learned on Coruscant: cooking and cleaning the ship. Sometimes Omega would sit with her and chatter, which made her smile. He hadn’t heard her laugh yet, though. Or hum, like she used to do when he was at her apartment and she was puttering around making things for him.
“Kya.” He reached out, lightly touching her shoulder. “Hey. It’s time to get up.”
She stirred, scrunching further into her pillow with a mumble. He wanted to twirl one of those rosy curls around his fingertip and tug it like he used to. It had always made her giggle- a flash of gold caught his eye. Something on her right temple, usually hidden in the way she styled her hair on the day to day. Curious, Fives leaned in, brushing her hair from her face lightly.
A gold Arubesh five, marking her forehead in the same place his tattoo was.
His breath caught in his throat as Kya’s eyes snapped open, blinking sleepily at him. “Fives? Good morning.”
“M-morning.” The tattoo had startled him, and now he was searching for anything else he hadn’t noticed since he woke up. As she pushed herself upright with a yawn, he ended up looking straight down the front of her sleeveless nightgown. His face splashed pink, quickly averting his eyes before he forgot what he wanted to say. “H-how long have you had that tattoo?”
Kya blinked, midway through reaching for her hairbrush in her backpack. She froze, licking suddenly dry lips. “Do you hate it?”
“N-no! I just… I hadn’t seen it before.” He shook his head.
“I got it on Serenno… right after you came out of bacta. Before Father died and we had to leave the castle. I was going to surprise you…” She dropped her head. “I’ll keep it under my hair if you want.”
“No, it’s okay. I was just surprised, that’s all.” He gently eased her brush from her hands. “Here, let me. I’ll do your hair.”
She raised an eyebrow, but wasn’t about to argue with a moment spent with him. She sat on the step beneath him and he carefully started working the snarls out of her curls. “Where did you learn to do hair? You’ve had that standard cut since I’ve known you.”
He chuckled. “Tup. Little shit was a the Rapunzel of the 501st…” His hand paused on a pass over her hair. “... He was how I found out about the chips. His went off, and he killed a Jedi. It wasn’t like him, so when they sent him to Kamino I offered to go too. The AZI droid, the same one Omega said was her friend, in the bar… it helped me find the chips in our heads. But he didn’t survive the removal… I did, and tried to head for Coruscant to tell Rex what I found. That’s when it went to shit. Drugged by the longnecks, and the thing with the Chancellor…”
“I didn’t know about the chips.” She murmured as he pulled her hair back from her face and started braiding it from the temples. “Father never mentioned them to me. He didn’t even tell me the clones were part of Sidious’ plan until after we were back on Serenno. I thought Jango was just playing both sides…”
Fives sighed. “Hold this.” He guided her hand to hold the edge of one braid while he worked on the other side. “I was drugged when I called you to meet me… I kept thinking if I could just find you, you’d understand what I meant and you could explain it to Rex and the General. You always understood what I meant…”
She nodded hesitantly. “You weren’t too hard to understand. You were always honest.”
He took the braided ends and went back to working at the back of her neck. “You tried to hit the Corrie that shot me.”
“I did.” She glanced back. “Did you remember that? You’d already passed out…”
“Rex commed in after Echo told him I was alive. We talked for a while about what happened.”
“Oh.” She smiled weakly. “He was always kind… stopped me from getting shot too.”
“Would you really have attacked the Corrie?”
“I wanted to rip his face off. He shot you.” She admitted.
“It wasn’t his fault.” Fives said mildly.
“I know. I know Palpatine was manipulating him, and that he didn’t understand. But that didn’t matter. It still doesn’t… he hurt you. I’m not like you, Fives. I’m not a hero.”
“What do you mean?” He finished up with her hair, but didn’t move yet.
“You’d burn for the good of the galaxy. You’d sacrifice yourself, the people you love, whatever it took to do the right thing even if it broke your own heart. I’d burn the galaxy to ash to protect you without a second thought.” She didn’t blink when she said it, head tilting over her shoulder to look at him. “You are the only person still alive who’s ever loved me and asked for nothing in return.”
“And if I asked you not to burn the galaxy and let me go?” He pursed his lips.
“Then if you burn, I will too.”
Fives couldn’t resist a chuckle. “And if I wanted to go off with Echo and join that harebrained rebellion of Rex’s? What would you say then?”
“I’d ask you when do we leave?” Her resolutely squared shoulders and left no question.
“I knew it. You were too perfect. Beautiful, intelligent, and talented? Something had to be wrong with you. It’s that you’re a little insane.” He laughed.
Kya sighed. “Only where you’re concerned.”
“Good news is, I like crazy.” He leaned over and kissed her cheek before getting up. “You should get dressed. Who knows what weird shit happens around these 99s?”
Kya sighed again and gathered her clothes from where she’d hung them on the arm of the gunner’s seat, walking to the fresher. When she saw her reflection, she couldn’t help but smile. Fives had given her two french braids that met at the back of her neck in a twisted braid bun, plucked out to look like a flower like her mother’s hair in the locket holo. She hadn’t even shown that picture to Fives yet… but he’d done a good job, and she felt like he was telling her something in the way he’d put the tattoo on her temple on full display. A quiet way of showing his brothers that there was still something between them even if she was, as he’d said, a little bit crazy.
He’d said he liked crazy…. She could work with that.
***Something meaty for the main course***
“I’m sorry I couldn’t do more, Captain.” Kya said quietly. They’d come to Coruscant to meet Rex, looking to discredit Admiral Rampart and his move to replace clones. It had been harrowing, Fives going with Echo and his brothers to infiltrate a retrofitted Venator and steal the data drive. Meanwhile, Kya had been with Omega and Riyo Chuchi trying to stall for time on the Senate vote and find as much proof as they could against Rampart. Kya’s old secretarial access hadn’t be revoked, and they’d gone combing through files and tracking money that led to a Kaminoan senator, a plot, and thousands of missing credits.
She’d even offered to testify, but Fives had shut her down. The minute Palpatine knew she was on Coruscant, he’d have had her executed on sight. So she’d worn a borrowed dress with a heavy cowl and posed as one of the Papanoida sisters. It had been a close call, as Palpatine had appeared the middle of the vote. She’d almost thrown up or passed out when his platform had ascended past theirs, but managed to catch the railing and tell herself there were more important things than her fear.
Rex just sighed and patted her arm. “You did all you could, Countess. You all did.”
Kya nodded, looking over at Echo and Fives talking to Hunter. “They’ve decided to come with you, haven’t they?”
“Echo has. Fives… he wants to, but he’s waiting to ask you about it.” Rex looked over at the brothers. “I could really use those two. They’re some of the finest ARC troopers I’ve ever met. I wish the Batch would come along, but they’ve got Omega to think of.”
“If Fives wants to go, then I’ll go too.” Kya nodded. “I can fly and shoot, and I’ve got all the abilities of a Jedi without that moral hangup about killing unarmed people…. Just saying.” She gave him a sheepish look. “Fives has my lightsaber though…. For safekeeping. Until you guys trust me.”
“You might get some pushback from the other guys I’m working with, but who you used to be is a lot less of a concern to me than who you want to be now.” Rex nodded. “Grab your stuff, if you’re in. I’ll tell Fives.”
Kya nodded and headed for the Marauder. She was halfway up the ramp when she heard the little patter of tiny feet. “Miss Kya?”
She turned around to face a wide eyed and tearful Omega. “Oh, sweetheart…”
“Are you going to leave too? Echo said he’s going to stay with Rex…”
Kya knelt down and opened her arms, letting the little blonde run into a hug. “Don’t cry, Omega.” She murmured, smoothing the soft blonde hair as the girl clung to her tightly. “Yes, I’m going to go with Echo and Fives. But it’s not goodbye forever.”
“I’m gonna miss you… you’re my family too, now. If you go away, it’s like it didn’t even matter that I met you!”
“I won’t ever stop being your family, Omega.” Kya promised, leaning back to wipe the little one’s cheeks. “You still have that kaleidoscope I gave you?”
“Yeah…”
“Remember what I said about it? If it makes you happy, then it matters. Meeting you made me happy. You, Echo, and Tech brought Fives back to me.” Kya gave her an encouraging smile until Omega nodded, still a little weepy. “When I see you again, you’ll have all kinds of stories to tell me. And I’ll look for an instrument while I’m gone, so I can play for you. Deal?”
“Deal.” Omega sniffled. “I’ll miss you…”
“I’ll miss you too. Be brave, okay? I know you can.” Kya gathered her and Fives’ things and walked back down the ramp with Omega clinging to her skirt. Fives ruffled the girl's hair, then stepped to the side to let Echo give her a proper goodbye. He’d known Omega longest.
He walked over to Kya. “You sure about this?”
“I’m sure.” She smiled quietly, shouldering the bags quietly. “Where you go, I go.”
Fives reached down and slipped his fingers in between hers as Echo stepped back to join them and Rex. “You’re crazy, you know that?”
“You like crazy.” She nodded.
“I’m not giving you your laser sword back yet. I will, however, concede you can use a blaster.” He squeezed her hand. This was a first step in rebuilding what they’d had… in a way, she didn’t even mind how long it took. It was almost like falling in love with him all over again.
“I’m fine with that.” She squeezed back. “Take all the time you need.”
***That’s a fine looking high horse***
She’d made herself a familiar face in their little base on Teth, despite her natural inclination to hide when she was nervous. She wanted to be more helpful, but most of the clones heard her full name and their faces hardened into instant wariness. She didn’t begrudge them their opinions, as all of them had lost brothers to her father’s droids. Still, it meant the only people who spoke to her were Rex, Echo, and Fives. Who were all regularly out on missions, and she was grounded on base.
She was working on one of the wiring compartments when she heard Fireball and Namec in the kitchen. Those two had assigned themselves cooks, and they were about as clueless as she’d been when she first began. “Gregor brought back this spice cabinet, but I don’t know what half this stuff is.” Namec was grumbling.
“Not like you’d use them correctly. I’m pretty sure blaster residue ruined your tastebuds.” Fireball huffed.
“Says the man who’s only contribution to cooking is to dump peppers in everything.”
“With all due respect, vod, at least I season my food with stuff I can pronounce.”
Kya peeked around the doorway shyly. “Maybe I could help?”
Namec scrunched his nose. “I didn’t think princesses could cook.”
Kya squirmed under his obvious dislike but managed not to melt into the floor. “I’m not a princess, sir. I’m a Countess… and I can cook a little. I learned so I could cook for Fives…”
“I don’t think I like you touching our-” Namec started, but Fireball elbowed him.
“I’ve had enough of whatever nonsense you keep trying to serve everyone. Let Fives’ Seppie give it a try. C’mere, Miss… uh, what was your name again?”
“Kya.” She stepped up and leaned over the pot they were fussing over, picking up a spoon and tasting it. Her nose scrunched involuntarily.
Fireball snickered. “See?”
While the two clones bickered, she started examining what she had to work with. No meat, but a vegetable protein paste that didn’t have much taste to it. She started slicing, heating oil in a pan and frying it up for texture while she added spices and spooned in powdered milk into the broth in the pot. Namec and Fireball had quit paying her any attention as they argued with each other about food and everything else they had going on.
She just ducked between them with a stick blender and started pureeing veggies in the broth.
She was just finishing up when she heard a ship land outside. “That must be Rex, Echo, and Fives.” She mused, setting a bowl of rice with the fried protein paste and sauce ladled over it in Fireball’s hands. “How’s this?”
He took a bite and blinked, holding it out to Namec. “Try. Just trust me.”
Namec sighed, but took the offered spoon and a bite. His eyes widened as well. “.... that’s actually good. Really good.”
Kya smiled and stepped aside. “Then help yourselves. I’ll go meet the others at the landing pad.” She trotted off without another word.
Fireball looked at Namec. “You owe her an apology.”
“Shut up.” He grumbled, but took another bite.
***What you got in the stable?***
She was standing on the edge of the landing pad when the door to the Remora opened, Fives following his twin and Captain down the ramp. “Hey, Miss Kya.” Rex said politely. He never bothered with a title, and she liked it better that way.
“Hello Captain. How’d the mission go?” She looked up as another clone came limping off the ship. He had a scar across his cheek and looked worn out.
“This is Captain Howser. He was arrested on Ryloth.” Rex explained. “Echo pulled some encrypted data off the ship when we boarded, he’s going to take it back to Pabu for Tech to take a look at.”
Fives smiled faintly when Kya looked nervously at him. “Easy, cyar’ika. We decided I’m gonna stay here with you for this. He knows the Bad Batch better, and I’m gonna keep an eye on the captains here.” He dropped an arm around her shoulder. “Namec didn’t give you too hard of a time, did he?”
“Fireball was too hungry to let him fuss at me for long.” She smiled, subtly nuzzling into his shoulder. “They both keep calling me your Seppie though.”
Howser raised an eyebrow. “Seppie?”
“She’s on our side now.” Fives said firmly, and Kya gave him a delighted little look. He had made it known around camp that he had her back, and they shared a tiny room here in the converted monastery of Teth, two beds squished into a room designed for only one. She wasn’t exactly sure where they stood, since they were sleeping separately and he hadn’t kissed her yet, but it was okay. She felt safe when he was there, and none of his brothers wanted to get into a fight with an ARC trooper just because they didn’t trust her.
“I’m Kya Dooku.” She hesitantly held a hand out to shake.
Howser eyed it. “Dooku?”
“People change. Situations change.” Echo shrugged. “She’s Fives’ girl. He trusts her, Rex trusts her, and I trust that.”
Howser sighed and hesitantly shook her hand. She hadn’t personally done him wrong, and the Empire was a bigger problem than what remained of the Separatists. “What brings you to the Rebellion, Miss Dooku?”
“Palpatine wants me several types of dead, and Fives wants to save his brothers. I just help where I can.”
Fives grinned. “So you cooked? What did you make? I missed your cooking.”
“It’s like curry, over fried protein paste, with rice. I got to use the spice cabinet.” She beamed.
“You think we got the stuff for you to make the blumfroot bread you gave me before that Geonosis brain worm thing?”
“I can look.” She smiled, and they turned into the makeshift mess hall. Clones were sitting down to eat, just a small network of tired veterans doing their best. They had no real supplies or experience trying to find their own without Republic lines, working out of barely holding together ships, in patched armor. She chewed her bottom lip and looked at Rex. “Captain? Can I talk to you for a minute?”
He nodded, waving the Domino twins and Howser to go on ahead. Rex and Kya stepped back out of earshot. “What’s on your mind?”
“We need more supplies, and more help.” She murmured. “I still have some of my father’s old contacts, people who hate the Empire as much as you do and would be willing to fight alongside you. Servants from home who care about me, old Separatist contacts from Raxus… Senator Singh, Tawni Ames…”
“Last I heard, Ames is dead. But Singh was laying low after the Bad Batch pulled him off Ryloth. If you can pull supply networks, you’ve got access to our comm network. Just keep Fives with you when you’re there, until the guys here adjust more. I don’t want any trouble for you.”
She nodded quietly. “Yes sir.”
***We’ve a lot of starving faithful***
Time kept marching on as Kya built up a supply network for the clone rebels. Singh was onboard, Zara had gone back to her native Mirial and had “care packages” dropped for them. Other people were more direct, snatching clones from Imperial outposts and getting the chips from their heads before sending them to approved locations for pickup. The base was getting more busy.
It didn’t feel like enough.
Echo had come back after the data decode mission looking like a broken man. They’d discovered the existence of an experimental base called Tantiss, and tried to track the mad scientist responsible for it off of Eriadu. Instead of finding a trail to save their brothers, they’d lost Tech in a railcar accident. Omega had been kidnapped by the Empire in short order afterwards, betrayed by Cid.
Kya had cried for Tech, who’d been part of bringing Fives back to her. She’d cried for Omega too, but those tears were full of rage. She’d cried them while in one of the smaller ships they’d managed to commandeer, walking tearfully into the Parlor on Ord Mantell and shoving her way into the trandoshan’s office. When she’d come out of the office several hours later, Cid’s usual barflies Bolo and Ketch had been staring at her with wide eyed panic. It might have been the fact that she was wearing the mask of Darth Caedes or the gore dripping from her hands onto the sticky bar room floor.
“You two will operate this bar, and report to Phee Genoa.” She said quietly. “You will send regular supply shipments to the coordinates she provides. In exchange, you may take over Cid’s mercenary business and keep the profits. But if I call you, and you do not answer, I will do to you what I just did to Scaleback. Do you understand?” Her voice was a rasp through the mask’s vocoder, designed to instill terror. They’d nodded, petrified and clinging to each other, until she’d jerked her head back to the office. “That won’t come out of the carpet, but you might as well start cleaning it up.”
They’d darted out of her way as she walked out, back into the ship she’d arrived on. Carefully, her bloody gloves and mask were wrapped in her black cloak and tucked into her backpack. Then it was a quick takeoff and she was back in hyperspace and on her way to rendezvous with the surviving government of Dexis.
She’d returned with promises of supplies, aid, and repurposed droids. Fives had met her on the landing pad. “How’d it go, mesh’la?”
“We’ll start getting pickup orders in a week.” She smiled disarmingly. Her ARC trooper scanned her up and down, his smile fading after a second.
“Kya.”
“Yes?” She straightened up at the tone he used.
“Where else did you go?” His eyes bored into her, one hand settling on his hip. “I know you didn’t go straight to Dexis.”
“How did you know?” She didn’t deny it, not bothering to lie. She didn’t even want to lie, not to Fives. Not anymore.
“There’s blood soaked into your boot laces. It looks like you tried to clean it up, but missed some.”
She looked down at her feet. “.... Kriff.”
“Where did you go, and who’s blood is that?” Fives demanded. “Kya, Rex finally trusted you with a mission. You could have thrown a wrench in everything. And what if you were seen-”
“No one saw me. I went to Ord Mantell.” She said quietly. “I had a mask on. No one knows it was me, and no one followed me to the ship. I set up supplies from there to be routed through that pirate girl we met when we were with the Bad Batch… the only person who saw my face is dead.”
He frowned, reached and turning her chin towards him. “You went after Cid, didn’t you?”
She nodded, eyes resolute even as they watered up. “She double crossed them, and now Omega’s missing… and Tech’s dead. I couldn’t make anything better, but I could make sure it didn’t happen again… they were good to us. They didn’t deserve what happened.”
Fives wiped a tear off her cheek with a thumb. “You’re lucky you’re cute… but warn me next time you decide to go off script. You shouldn’t have gone alone.”
She sighed and nodded, wiping her cheeks with the back of her hand. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t do that. C’mere.” He pulled her into his arms. “Don’t cry, I hate it.”
She snuggled into his chest and closed her eyes. “Okay.”
***That looks tasty***
When Echo had told them Omega had been found, Fives and Kya had both started cheering and run for the Remora demanding Echo take them to see her. He’d rolled his eyes but acquiesced without more than a nod from Rex. They’d ended up on the warm planet of Pabu, where Kya met the last of the Bad Batch. Crosshair, a traumatized sniper looking as likely to bite as bolt. He’d hung back while Echo hugged Omega tightly, lifting her off the ground with delight. Kya and Fives had hugged her next, and she’d dragged them to meet Crosshair.
He’d looked a little ashamed to admit he was a former Imperial himself. Kya had simply patted his arm lightly. “I’m Count Dooku’s daughter. You’ll have a much easier time making amends.”
They’d explored an Imperial base on frozen Barton 4 with the Batch, looking for information on Tantiss where Omega and Crosshair had been held. After a near miss with an ice wyrm, the ride home had been subdued.
“You know anything about this M-count, Kya?” Hunter sat down next to her and Fives.
Kya nodded. “Midicholorians. It’s a marker in the blood that coincides with Force sensitivity.”
“Why would they be testing clones for it?” The poor sergeant looked so tired, like all I wanted was to curl up in a ball. She knew he wanted to keep Omega safe. So did the rest of them; Omega had an almost supernatural way of endearing herself to adults and softening their rough edges.
She frowned. “I’m not certain. Nothing good, that’s all I know. But the dark Sith magic… that was more Sidious’ purview than mine or Father’s. From what I heard second hand, he’s obsessed with immortality. I’m not sure how that coincides with experiments on clones, though.”
Hunter sighed, rubbing his temples. “You guys had any better luck with finding Tantiss?”
Fives shook his head. “She’s got quite a supply and information network going, but nothing new on Tantiss.”
Kya leaned against his side. He’d been more cuddly since she’d killed Cid, like he was trying to remind her of his presence. He’d even pushed their bunks closer together, into a double bed on Teth. “We’ve got the rendezvous with Singh and Chuchi soon. Rex wants me to go with him on that. Maybe we can dig for information about the experiments there.”
“Fair.” Fives nodded, looking at Hunter. “We’ll keep you posted. You have my word.”
***That looks plenty***
Coruscant was a danger to be on, but Kya had set up this meeting and she was determined to see it through. She sat, out of sight in the rafters of the warehouse they were using for cover, while Rex kept an eye on Senator Singh and Senator Chuchi.
Echo and Fives were keeping perimeter, so things should have been safe. She didn’t sense anything in the Force moving around them except the clone, but she still felt on edge. Something was weird and she couldn’t identify-
GAR standard issue soap. She could smell it, ever so faintly, nearby somewhere. It didn’t make sense; the clones she was with didn’t have access to it anymore. They had to make due with what her suppliers could get them, but she knew that scent. Fives always smelled like that, barring the handful of times he’d come to her directly from the battlefield and transport. Where the hell was it coming from?
She was puzzling over it when a shadow moved, and the outline of a rifle appeared in the darkness not far from her. The assassin, in black armor, hadn’t seen her yet. “Rex!”
The blonde captain dove to cover Chuchi and Singh as blaster shots went off, and Kya launched herself after the assassin. They fell out of the rafters, the former Sith getting the rifle off him before he took off through the warehouse. She gave chase, comm going wild in her ear as Echo, Rex, and Fives tried to coordinate protecting the senators and cutting off her quarry’s escape. “I’ve got him.” She muttered. “Hold on.”
“Watch him. If he’s one of the shadows we’ve dealt with before, he’s got an electroshocker embedded in a back tooth.” Rex cautioned.
“Then let’s stop playing games, shall we?” She took off up the side of the wall, putting on a little extra speed to go over her prey and land in front of him. Caught, he went to clench his jaw but was halted by a sudden paralyzing grip that forced his mouth open and lifted him by the throat. “It’s impolite to run off without making introductions.” Kya huffed, dragging him back across the warehouse with the Force.
Rex blinked at her, eyes wide, but quickly stunned her captured companion. Once he was no longer a flight risk, she set him down. “Good work, Kya.” Rex crouched to pull off the assassin’s helmet.
Fives darted over, catching her by the shoulders. “You okay?”
Kya nodded immediately. “I’m fine. Are the Senators alright?”
Echo chuckled. “They’ve been evacuated and they’re fine. Good catch though. We never heard them.”
Kya crouched by the clone as Rex revealed his face, frowning. “I didn’t sense him. It’s like he’s not even alive…”
Rex nodded. “The Empire’s doing something to do them. Why else would a clone turn on another clone?”
She shook her head, looking back at the twins. “I don’t like it, Captain.”
“Me either. Let’s get this shocker out and take him back to base. Echo, make contact with the Batch… they’re going to want to see this.” He held up a puck the assassin had been holding, Omega’s holo rotating slowly.
Kya didn’t like that either.
***This is hungry work***
“I brought you something.” Omega smiled happily, sitting beside Kya. She and the Batch had come to Teth to meet with Rex, to discuss the Empire hunting the little girl. Crosshair was anxious beyond words about the shadow assassin, so Kya had come to sit beside him in her best attempt to be comforting. Omega had come to join them, pretending she wasn’t worried about the Empire hunting her. Again.
She held out an ocarina, made from weeping mya wood from Pabu. Kya took it gingerly and smiled. “Thank you, Omega. Did you still want me to play something for you?”
The little blonde nodded, and Crosshair twitched his toothpick and turned to listen. He was anxious, but there was no way off the planet until Echo came back for them. So all he could do was fret and try to warn his brothers, who seemed to accept the danger but couldn’t quite bring themselves to run like they should have.
Kya played a few experimental notes before launching into a song, foot tapping beside Omega to keep beat. The girl grinned, clapping her hands along with her. It was fun, an uplifting sound that brought a little joy to the somber air around the base. As the last notes petered out, she looked up and her brow furrowed. “Crosshair. Take Omega inside.”
“What’s wrong?” The sniper frowned.
“There’s someone out there. I couldn’t sense the assassin inside, there’s nothing left of him. But this… there’s a sliver of a beating heart, buried deep down inside.”
“I knew it. The Empire’s found us. We should have already left.” He swore under his breath.
“Walk calmly, act like I didn’t say anything, and get Omega to safety.” She stood up, tucking the ocarina into her hip bag. “Tell Rex what I said, and he can get a message to Echo and Fives.” The twins had gone for a rendezvous with Gregor, so she had to handle this on her own. Without her lightsaber, which was still in Fives’ pocket.
Crosshair nodded, taking Omega by the hand. “You can’t fight him.”
“I can.” She smiled, and walked down the steps to the front entrance of the monastery, heading down into the jungle. Once she was on the ground level, she dropped low and started moving towards the flickery Force signature. She’d gathered from Crosshair’s absolute terror at seeing the first assassin that they were made by torture. This one felt different, like he was still holding onto his soul by the skin of his teeth.
There was a chance she could save him, but it meant she had to catch him without hurting him.
Above her, a shot rang out as the assassin killed the prisoner. Her short advanced notice had let Rex get a comm out to Fives and Echo, but they were on their own until he got back. She moved carefully, tracking the shot as he moved into the base, and followed him back inside from behind.
He’d blown their comm array when she caught up to him, grabbing him with the Force as the clones hurried down the spire of the base to escape in the leech ship and hide to wait for extraction. She ripped the rifle from his hands as he kicked, choking from the vice around his neck.. She held him still, eyes hard, until she heard the ship take off and get out of range. “There’s still something in you to save.” She said quietly, lowering the half conscious clone to the ground. He was still fighting her, kicking and struggling, but she wasn’t going to kill him.
Not when he was a clone. A brother.
She looked up when she heard another ship come into the atmosphere and frowned, eyes narrowed. Shit. There was no time to try to get through to this one, because she couldn’t risk being captured. She looked at the struggling clone and sighed. “Sleep, trooper. Live to fight another day.”
He struggled, but slowly went limp as she pushed him into sleep with the Force, then lay him down and went running down the stairs towards the rendezvous zone with all the speed she could muster. She crested a hill just in time to see the Remora opening its hatch, Fives running out. Even from a distance, he looked anxious as he looked from Rex to the other troopers and Omega.
As she got closer, she heard his voice. “Where’s Kya? Rex, where is she?!” The frantic edge to his voice broke her heart. “You said she took on the assassin? You let her go alone?!”
“There wasn’t time.” Rex shook his head.
Crosshair’s shoulders hunched. “She… probably didn’t make it. I’m sorry.” He sounded like he meant it. “But we have to go. The assassin won’t give up-”
“No. Not my girl. She’s not dead.” Fives snarled. “Go if you have to. I’m staying until I find her, we’ll find our way back like we did on Serenno. I’m not leaving without Kya.”
“I’m here.” Kya crawled up the rocky steppe into view, a little out of breath but in one piece as she came into view. “I’m alr-” Her words were cut off when Fives ran over and scooped her up, squishing her to his chest tightly.
“Are you okay?” He breathed, his helmet long forgotten on the Remora. He set her on the ground only to check her over.
“I’m alright.” She blinked up at him, eyes wide. “I couldn’t save him though. There wasn’t time.”
He nodded, looking up as the Imperial ship pulled up and opened. Rex pushed in front of them as everyone backed up around Omega.
“Wolffe?”
“Rex?” The Imperial Commander pulled off his helmet to frown at the blonde captain. While they were talking, Fives nudged Kya towards the ship.
“Get inside.”
“Not without you.” She twisted her fingers into his. “If you burn, so do I. Remember?”
He stared at her as she looked dead ahead, eyes fixed on Commander Wolffe and his men. Rex was slowly talking him down, and he gave a quiet nod after a moment and ordered his clones to stand down. There was a conflict deep in his mismatched eyes, but he was letting them go.
“No one’s burning today.” Fives pulled Kya aboard, and they all got secure as Echo took off. He didn’t let go of her hand, sitting down in the corner as he pulled her down between his upraised knees and held her tightly. Eventually the chatter died down, clones resting where they could. Omega slept cuddled up to her hound. Crosshair’s foot tapping quieted and he leaned against Wrecker, dozing. Hunter and Rex spoke in quiet voices in the cockpit, barely audible, while Fives’ head rested against Kya’s shoulder. She thought he was asleep when she felt his lips brush the side of her neck.
“Fives?” She tilted her head enough she could see his profile in her peripheral vision. “Are you alright?”
He squeezed her a little tighter. “I thought I lost you back there. When Rex said you’d engaged the assassin… and then Crosshair told me how much more dangerous they were than we thought. I was afraid I’d never see you again.” His voice cracked. “I’d been holding out on forgiving you for what happened before… and when I thought you weren’t coming back, none of that seemed important anymore.”
“Fives, you don’t have to-” She started, but he just quietly turned her around in his lap so she was sideways, cradled in his arms.
“Yes I do. It’s stupid and none of it matters anymore. This matters. You matter, we matter. And I could have lost it all today.” Warm fingers splayed across her cheek, tilting her head up so he could crash his lips to hers.
The kiss was everything she remembered and more. Warm, desperate, tasting of devotion and apology alongside desperation. She’d missed it so much, and melted immediately against his chest as her arms looped around his neck. Blue fingers carded through black hair as Kya kissed Fives back, wordless promises between them. They were back, better than before because it was honest now. But it had always, from the very beginning, been real.
When they had to break apart, breathing hard against each other with their foreheads touching, Kya smiled sheepishly. “I love you.” She murmured.
“I love you too.” Fives whispered. “Fuck, I love you so much.”
Kya tucked her head under his chin, his goatee scratching against her temple. It was soothing, and despite how difficult things were now that they had no base and would have to reconfigure everything once again… all that mattered was this.
“Here.” Fives said softly, reaching into his pocket and pulling out her lightsaber. “This is yours.”
“You trust me?” She kissed his jawline as she slowly took the now almost unfamiliar weapon.”
“Yes.” He said firmly. He couldn’t have expressed his love any more than that one word. Fives trusted her again. Everything was right with the galaxy, despite how much was wrong.

"Cass dies in the Great Tree" Is the title literal? Or does it mean something else?
Do you have a piece of history made? Anything you could share? That title and that "Shot" made me curious
Funnily enough... it's not literal but because Cass actually dies AFTER leaving the tree XD so not in the Great Tree.
But yeah, it's not a title to keep. If I don't have a title I just put down the concept until I figure one out!
It's an AU where Cass touching Rapunzel has a much bigger consequence and the gang tries to get her help before it's too late but can't. And Rapunzel and company have to deal with both the guilt of not listening to Cass about the tree being dangerous, but also the consequences, things like, writing home to Corona to let Captain know...
It's only meant to be short but it's another case of... how in the world do I end this little bit of angst?
Here's a few snippets of what's already written :D
In the sunlight the extent of Cassandra’s injury became clear, an almost burnt like black texture covered her arm, her fingernails were gone, her fingers didn’t look like fingers. “Cassandra…” Rapunzel stared. Cassandra took a few deep breaths. “Is everybody alive?” Eugene looked around, leaning heavily on Lance, the decay incantation has taken a lot out of him but he could count. “Yeah… Yeah, for now,” he tried to joke. “Does your hand hurt, Cass?” Cassandra looked up at Rapunzel, tears were in her eyes, something Rapunzel had never seen from her usually strong friend. “That’s a yes…” Eugene answered. “I think I need help…” She whispered. Rapunzel nodded. “Don’t worry, Cass, we’re going to get you to the closest town with a doctor! Right, guys?” Nods and the gang got into action, packing what belongings they had left, Fidella knelt down next to Cassandra and Eugene moved to look at the injury, but it was like nothing he’d ever seen before and he didn’t know how to help.
Cassandra rested on Fidella’s back. Her breathing was shallow, and she lacked all of her usual stability. She was so shaky that Lance and Eugene were standing on either side of Fidella, ready to catch the woman if she fell. Her right arm was completely limp at this point, the blackness which had started with her hand had spread upwards, now reaching past her elbow and towards her shoulder. It wouldn’t be long until it reached a more crucial part of her body. Rapunzel was walking way up ahead, her eyes on the horizon, she hurried as much as she could hoping the next town would come into view already so they could locate a doctor’s office and get Cassandra the help she needed. Rapunzel didn’t know what she’d do if things got worse.
Cassandra lay in the bed with the white sheets, her arm resting atop the sheets. Her arm didn’t even look like an arm at this point and the fact her breathing was so painful told her the blackness had reached her lungs. The past few days were a blur of pain and tears. Rapunzel was inconsolable, not even Eugene could calm her down. Right now Rapunzel was asleep in the chair to the left and Eugene was sitting to Cassandra’s right. He’d been annoyingly quiet these past few days, no bad jokes or stupid comments. Cassandra hated it, but she also understood. “Eugene,” she whispered. His eyes moved to meet hers. “Yes?” “If I don’t—” “Don’t.” Eugene’s eyes went wide, and he shook his head. Cassandra smiled. “Scared?” Eugene didn’t know what to respond. “Just… In case,” she whispered. “If I don’t make it, tell my father I love him, alright?” Eugene nodded.
The sun was rising and neither Eugene nor Rapunzel had managed a word more than ‘To the Captain of Corona’s Royal Guard’. How do you tell a man his daughter’s dead? Sending a letter felt wrong. But waiting for them to get home rather than tell him immediately felt worse. “How could this happen?” Rapunzel didn’t have an answer. “Two days ago she was fighting our enemies and now she’s gone.” “Magic…” Rapunzel whispered, her fingers going through her hair. “I guess… I guess it doesn’t just bring stuff back… Sometimes it takes stuff away.” She took a deep breath as tears ran down her face. “Eugene… This is all my fault.” “No, no, I agreed with you, we all did except Cassandra.” “But she was right.” “But it’s not all your fault. I could have sided with her. But I… I didn’t. I never sided with Cass.”

This is super random but I am, to this day, very upset that Disney announced all these new and exciting things for Princess and the Frog - one of their titles that is SO amazing and underrated partly do to their absolute lack of current advertising and merchandising- almost three years ago and have delivered nothing. In fact, it is almost impossible to find any recent updates from Disney about it at all!
More of my rant can be found under the cut but tl;dr: I’m tired of Tiana and Princess and the Frog being pushed to the side by Disney over and over especially when she is such a special character to so many people ❤️
And circling back around to the whole merchandise thing real quick, I am not exaggerating when I say there is almost no Disney licensed Princess and the Frog merch. Very little compared to other titles. When I was in the parks (and this was a few years ago so It could have changed but I’m honestly doubtful) I genuinely couldn’t even find a pair of Tiana themed Mickey ears. You know who did have some? Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Rapunzel, Bell, Elsa. Patf loungefy bags? Like 3. And I had to scour the internet to find them. I know recently there’s been a lot more cooking themed merch for Tiana in Epcot but again, that been very recent and while a spatula with her face on it is cute and on brand that doesn’t mean I don’t want a pair of ears. EARS! They don’t event have to be fancy! I can’t even get a mini backpack that looks like her dress like so many of the other princesses have? There aren’t even that many personal business who are making merch I could buy not aimed at little kids.
Disney really just released that movie and left it to die. Opportunities to meet Tiana at the park are much harder to come by than your other classics (although I will admit that they used her and Naveen a good amount in the shows they do on the castle steps last time I was there… which actually makes this make LESS SENSE to me!). And I get it, they are “classics” but patf is a classic to so many! It’s so odd that Disney didn’t try to capitalize on that fact that more people would probably be able to relate to Tiana more as a person who works hard in a capitalist society and is dead set on reaching her dreams through hard work. That’s more relatable than magic hair or talking rats and a fairy godmother that fix all your problems for you! And just to be clear again this is no hate to the other princesses like I understand that each has qualities that could easily make them someone’s favorite. Tangled is my second favorite Disney Princess movie! It just hurts to constantly see yours push aside time and time again.
Disney has been doing a much better job in recent years in terms of diversity but I am so tired of seeing Princess and the Frog (and other franchises featuring leads of color this rant is just patf specific as Tiana is the only Disney Princess I have ever been able to see myself in) being treated so poorly compared to others. I am very tired of this and frankly I don’t think it’s talked about enough (or AT ALL really) in Disney related spaces. Princess and the Frog and Tiana in general has never gotten the recognition it deserved. It will forever be my favorite movie and quite frankly, it never got the hype or recognition it deserved.
I don’t expect many people to actually read this especially since it is so far from my normal content but if you have, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk!

Oho? I really love that!
Mine actually work a bit different (quite a lot actually, especially near the end), but I also love yours.
The ending is bittersweet, but still have room for future happy ending. I want happy endings.
You can definitely use it as a background lore for your own Rapunzel Idia AU. While I don't fully know about that AU of yours, may I share little ideas of how they (Floyd and Riddle) get together and even what happen afterwards the whole event of this?
Ok, let's start with what happens to Riddle after he partway with Floyd:
It start with the Queen lead him to room not far from her own. The old Queen was so gentle towards Riddle. Just like you said, she has no family. Her husband and child die during a war many years ago, leaving her alone to rule the Queendom. The doctor was the one that take care of her during the worst moments of her life. They had know each other for years, for the doctor's family has always served the royal family for generations. She do see him as her own younger brother.
Riddle in all but blood, is the next heir of the Queendom. Despite all of her abuse, Mrs Roseheart do taught Riddle politics beside medicine and other knowledges. Meaning Riddle is actually quite knowledgeable and fit to become a ruler.
Anyway, the Queen then lead him to the room. In there stood a middle aged man with rose colored hair. Despite the wrinkles around his eyes, you could still see the youth of his face. A face that quite resemble Riddle's more feminine one.
It was his father, whisper the Queen to Riddle's ear.
Just imagine the teary reunion between them after the Queen told the doctor (who has been refusing to left his room for years now unless the Queen need to be checked for her health).
Riddle then get more educations in order to prepare him to be the next ruler of the Queendom. During that time he meet Trey and Che'nya, both who has reunited with their own families. Riddle at first was afraid to meet them again, let alone their families. For he still believe that he was at fault for them losing many years to live a normal live. But neither of them, nor their families, ever hate Riddle. Because they know, especially after the whole thing during Floyd's supposed execution, that he was also another victim of the wicked witch.
Also, I imagine after Riddle became a King (or Queen, based on the Queendom's law), he declared that Floyd is free of all charges again him, at least in the Queendom, because of his actions back then.
Well, no one can disagree with him :3
Also, during that time, he meet Cater, Ace, and Deuce. All of them, along with Trey and Che'nya, became his personal guards and jester/advisor. With them he learnt how to become a great ruler. Also, with Cater's help, he tried to follow any news about Floyd and his friends. Hoping and still believe that they would reunited again one day.
And they did. Maybe after the whole journey of Idia. Or maybe, should you make Riddle the sun drop, after a whole fiasco that then lead Riddle and co to them, reunited Riddle and Floyd once more but in adventure much more insane than before.
Maybe after this all Riddle try to create peace between human and mermaids. He tried to show everyone that mermaids are just like them, just different in appearance. He also was the first ruler, and make his Queendom to be the first country that accept mermaids into their land.
The reason is because Riddle want to be with Floyd forever and more and get their happy ending. Not to mention, for him, he hasn't paid his payment yet for all of Floyd's help.
:0 that's a noice continuation...
For my Idia rapunzel au, there is a lot of lore, but much more faithful to the tangled series lore... with the exception that Idia cannot heal, but just boost one's magic. Also summon magic rocks. His hair was long because he couldn't cut it with anything, just like the rocks he summons. His bringing to the tower was done under the pretext that he killed his brother(which later proved to be fake), so he never intended to leave in fear that he would accidentally kill someone again.
Again, imma go under a cut :'3
Riddle training and becoming king while Floyd is gone sounds like something that would absolutely be brought in once they do meet again. :'3
And the rest of the hearts family <3
Cater could've been the son of a merchant, just to get him to have some connections and knowledge outside the queendom itself. Hence he is the most trusted by Riddle when it comes to outside information and handling matters that involve negotiating with the other kingdoms. If Floyd were to ever step foot back in here, Cater will know immediately.
Riddle's goal is peace throughout diplomacy. The queendom of roses was flourishing on it's own, so he didn't want to put a worry over possibilities of war, as such, striking peace with the neighbor kingdoms was most likely his go to, which also includes the mers as the queendom had to have some opening to the sea. It would probably mark it off as the first kingdom to start as a completely peaceful state. :v
But if we do extend it with the idipunzel au... then it gets messy :'3
Firstly, Idia himself would be expected to first make peace with the mers since later on, Malleus asks for marriage and as such, Azul is a mer, who ends up marrying into the royalty of the said kingdom. But Ortho's officially the crowned prince and the one who inherents the throne, as such, Idia's crowning comes off as important only for the royal family. The whole load of plans is rocked tho, when Malleus is found by the fae kingdom and he is forced to go there and settle the previous 'engagement' he was set up to, engagement that Malleus himself had to call off before running away in shame. (This is how he meet and became indebted to Azul for helping him run away)
With this, Idia has to go with Malleus and Azul to the fae kingdom, of course via Azul's crew. That's also how they go to the queendom, as Azul initially left his ship there, for his crew to make some trading. His ship later was taken by the queendom authorities(before Riddle came to the capital altogether), hence they needed to go there and negotiate for that ship.
Cue meeting in between Riddle and Floyd, even if Azul was there to negotiate for the ship. Of course, Riddle gave them back the ship with no hassle. He was just happy that Floyd came back.
But he again had to leave. Not wanting to be separated again, Floyd offers for Riddle to join their lil adventure, under the pretext that if Malleus takes over his status as heir to the fae throne, they could strike an alliance, especially since the fae empire was a force to be reckoned with.
Cue hearts gang joining in on the adventure. A lot of shenanigans on the sea and so much chaos. :3
I guess that's all I have... the brain juices are done for now :'3
