underrated character: keisuke unnan! he caught my eye so much the first time i read the fukurodani and mujinazaka match (bc i thought he was mute, turns out he wasnt lol), he seems like a really fun character overall who has so much potential. ALSO WE NEED TO TALK MORE ABOUT TIMESKIP MATSUKAWA ISSEI PLEASE

underrated relationship: (this is only platonic) kageyama and akaashi!!! the fact that they both admire each other so much but don't know it is so funny to me (kinda sad tho), like just talk it out!!!

random headcanon: i have so many. akaashi loves dark academia and writes poetry, he's passionate about movies and cinema. kageyama has a comfort hoodie. kenma and suna are related somehow. yamaguchi has a tooth gap. atsumu has a tongue piercing. etc etc etc.

I failed at completing this in a timely manner, but here it is!

Michiru Usuri punched the wall in anger a little too hard, and blowing on the tips of his painful knuckles reminded him that imitating anime characters when they’re frustrated isn’t the best idea.

He let his body thud onto the bench in the hallway. He sat forward, his spine slouched, hands settling sullenly between his legs. Right now, the rest of the squad was clearing up after their loss to Fukurodani. Usuri had sneaked away after Wakatsu’s glowing command for the team to carry off Micchan-sensei on their shoulders next year.

Next year…, Usuri thought. It shouldn’t have been next year. It should have been this year—if only Usuri had done better.

“Yo! There you are. We’re fixin’ to go.”

Usuri’s eyes met his senpai Keisuke Unnan’s, the skin beneath still puffy from where Unnan pretends he wasn’t crying.
