HEHEHE. Ragnar is associated with orange to me, though he mostly wears blue in the form of his Stalhrim armor! He doesn't have that until he goes to Solstheim, but tbh I think I'm gonna have to mix in some blue to his previous armor designs, methinks hehe FOR JENAIS: Obviously he mostly wears black with red accents, because that's His Robe. Despite that, I associate him with green, and draw him with the color green a lot hehe. Orange is for warmth, fire, and all around like... idk. just Warm. And then the green for Jenais is definitely for envy, necromancy, and even a bit of Hermaeus Mora coding... >:3c

7. favorite animal? why?

Ragnar likes birds, mainly hawks! It really just finds them fascinating to watch, and feels that they guide it in the right direction... Hmmmm... :3c And Jenais likes elk! He's always admired their antlers and grace, even as a child.

11. what do they have in common with you? how are they different? would you get along with them?

OH BOY HEHEHE... we'll start with Ragnar again here. Ragnar has inherited my struggles with knowing myself and identity, as well as unhealthy selflessness. I think we could get along but communication might be kinda hard skjflsdj AS FOR JENAIS... those that know me know that he's a massive projection of a lot of Problems I have/had, especially around the time I developed him, lmao. He's very much gifted kid syndrome/burnout, he's been used as a vessel for me to explore being arospec, and in general he's kinda like if I just flew off the handle, but worse. And no, we would not get along, at least not at first... but I'm not sure I have the patience of a saint that Ragnar has to actually deal with him for long enough for us to actually get along KSDJLKDF

18. their opinion on lying, stealing, and killing?

HAHA WELL... funny I'm answering this today, since Ragnar has taken the reigns and developed itself in a direction I didn't think it would be going. SO LIKE. It's outwardly against lying, but actually lies QUITE a bit. Mainly about itself, its thoughts and feelings and such, as much lying to itself as it is lying to others to keep its appearance up. As for stealing and killing, it will do it if it must, but prefers not to. It generally stays away from stealing, as it never finds a valid reason to steal-- where as killing has become an inevitability in many cases. As for Jenais, well, his answer should be obvious: neither of those things are wrong, and in fact, they're pretty damn fun! >:3

26. how do they move? are they clumsy? light on their feet? do they use mobility aids?

OOH OK so Ragnar is very sure with his movements. He's very graceful, but his movements also hold weight. He's light on his feet but he's very muscular and has a good bit of body fat, so despite the grace it's easy to see that he could pack a hell of a punch if he needed to. He's quite sturdy too, and hardly ever loses balance. Jenais... I like to describe how he walks as almost like stalking, creeping, etc. He's fairly good at being sneaky, but even when not trying to hide, he moves with a strange sort of... I can only really describe it as a predatory gait, I guess?? Like he's ready for anything, always planning something. He's NOT sturdy at all though, and is easily knocked over. He used to be much more clumsy but has grown out of that for the most part. His posture isn't great, either, which adds a bit to his freaky, evil, creepy charm.

35. do they ever return home?

YOU WANTED TO HURT ME WITH THIS ONE. POINTS. I KNOW YOU DID /LH Short answer for both of them: No. Ragnar never had a home, how could it return? Jenais can't find home in the house he grew up in. Nothing is left but ghosts-- and the memories haunt him well enough as it is.

Noba how the variables were varying) places like Lebanon.

((HM. Okay so this is really funny, but Kara once said it was kinda, insane that I hadn’t made MZ a Winter Deity alt of any kind, and then I put waaay too much time into thinking about it, as all of my AUs go lol. 

It’s always MZ lmao except when it’s Ziel but normally it’s MZ--

In all honesty I really love elk and deer being seen along with fae creatures, so I kinda... had to do something like that, and... his eyes. They were definitely the one thing I really wanted to focus on when I was making them. He’s supposed to be kinda spooky and ethereal, after all. Those were... probably the first two things I wanted haha...))

((HM. ANOTHER MZ ALT YOU SAY? YEP NEVER GETS OLD.

Kane is... yeah the thought process behind him was a long and convoluted one, but I know that A God That Kills Other Gods and A God That All Things Fear were really far up there in the building of his backstory. Also thorns, since I wanted him to stand out from other MZ alts [who normally get ice affinities]. 

Working with a limited color palette for the world kinda helped shape him really quickly. He was meant to look inhuman instantly. 

Funny enough a later thing that ended up happening is this... wolf/spider theme he’s got going on. He’s a lone wolf type, but then he sets up his borders the way a spider sets up its web. Interesting combo.))

I was tagged several days go (by @pamouche and @sandersdocs). Sorry that it took me this long... But here are my answers. It was a real struggle to make choices and so, sometimes I cheated by giving two answers… haha

Their infinite love for each other is definitely the most beautiful thing about S03. It's so pure. The fact that at the start of the season Sander says, when he's putting out the glass with Robbe, that he's afraid that he will never find someone. At least not someone who loves him. And then at the end of the season he realizes he has finally found that. Someone who completely loves him. Someone who is not scared away by his MI and who also (unlike Britt) does not see his MI in everything he says or does. 

I also cannot believe how perfect the acting of the two Willem's was throughout the season! Their chemistry feel so real. It's a testament of the absolute mind-blowing talent that these two young actors have. I am sure we're going to see a lot more from them in the future!

Also the attention for detail was amazing. The perfect choice of music (e.g. as I write below when Wandering Romance is playing during Friday 21:21 and they film Sander when the song goes “No one knows the pain”. Then the camera switches to Robbe as the song continues: “No one sees what I see in you”. To give just one example of the well thought out choices that the production team made.

Can I mention the real life mural here! OMG, such a masterpiece in the centre of Antwerp. This brings us to the amazing aesthetic of Sander. And his bleached hair! His bleached hair! He looked like a Greek God! Apollo has descended from mount Olympus!

Friday 21:21 but as I am already answering that to other questions below let me add Wednesday 16:36. No better cuddle clip than Wednesday 16:36. How they couldn’t stop touching each other. Here Robbe earned the nickname koala Robbe as he clang to Sander when Sander got up to check his phone… Also the moment where Sander says another iconic line: “I immediately knew, he’s the one”. Sander truly is the king of one-liners…

Monday 11:03 because up to that point Sander thought that his happiness with Robbe would end when Robbe sees his bipolar side. He even pushes Robbe away because he thinks he's toxic and Robbe deserves someone better than him. But then Robbe makes it clear to him how much Sander means to him and how Sander's illness is no obstruction in their relationship. Can you imagine the relief this must have brought to Sander???

Again a hard choice... I like when Sander is playing with Robbe's angel necklace in Friday 22:21. Als the next clip Friday 22:52 is amazing as they are still in the same position in bed. Just in each other's arms, completely happy.

Monday 11:03: "The next minute we are going to kiss", "That's chill" 

This kiss is the confirmation that Sander needed to understand that Robbe was completely honest when he told Sander that he wanted him. This kiss caused such emotion that Sander started to cry and collapsed. 

Second place would go to Tuesday 7:27 for the same reason. Nothing is more beautiful than when Robbe uses his kisses to comfort Sander. Because that's what true love means, being there for the other when they need you the most... And omg, seeing how Sander relaxed as soon as Robbe comforted him with "altijd" and his kiss...

Their first one in the swimming pool. It's such a magical moment. He finally had scrambled all the courage he needed to kiss the boy he was so utterly in love with... 

Second place would be for Tuesday 16:31. A small peck at first to test the water that ended in a full make out session that was interrupted by Britt calling him. This time it was Sander who comforted Robbe when he said: "We are the future".

Is there a better song imaginable??? And then the fact that Lie Ning himself wrote on Instagram: "i wish i had Robbe and Sander when i was a teenager. this love that is not defined by gender or sexuality but purely by affection and heart is exactly what I was looking for back then. glad to be a part of this beautiful romance. everyone knows the pain. but few are brave enough to show it."

(*) Of course this must be a bit of a lie because someone as wonderful and sweet as Sander must have hordes of people who see how special he is...

Then he teased Robbe that his battery was empty and so that he couldn't record his lockdown walk movie. Such a Sander thing to do... Teasing his boyfriend... 

Then Robbe writes: "I want to be with you sooooo much. How focking cute you are". Then Sander writes: "I love you, Robin" to which Robbe answers: "I love you too. Abnormally much!"

How perfect is this??? Like the teasing, Robbe calling Sander cute, Sander saying Robin, and then Robbe saying he loves Sander abnormally much.

     Sounds about right - he hadn’t even asked to get ‘rescued’, let alone saved here, but strangers always had a funny way of caring, even ones he’d gone and fucked over in the past. He was starting to realize that was just a fact of life he’d have to get used to; people always loved inserting themselves into scenarios they simply didn’t belong in.

     Though the wounds were already healing, it all looked worse than it felt, the entirety of his lower abdomen scrambled up by dull, hot blades all festering like some infection was ravaging him. To an outsider, he already looked beyond dead, the ground coated in blood and his body completely still - but to anyone who knew him? This was child’s play. He’d had half a mind to bite back when the dragon carried him from his place in the snow [at least it was cold and he could pretend it was final]. 

     But no, he’d have to put on another excuse to keep bothering again. Say ‘haha, you couldn’t get me this time either, idiot!’, smile, and heal. Awful. Couldn’t Vidar see that he was comfortable out there? No, of course not, and he wasn’t about to spill his guts metaphorically either; not to Vidar, not to family or friends, not to anyone. With a gruff exhale, he pushed himself up enough to tear away at the elk that’d been brought to him, crooked teeth rending cold meat with ease.

My Top Favorite ships of the decade (2010 - 2020)

Now, who doesn’t like shipping? Mostly, we feel lonely and we want to experiment romance to fill that gap. And what a better way to do it by taking two characters and imagine romantic stories of them. Now, I’m also a big shipper myself, and believe me, I got a lot of ships 

However, some ships are more cute than others imo, and this is why I’m making this top 5 of my favorite ships of the last decade 

As always, this is only a personal opinion, and I hope that you enjoy this special post for the 14th (even though it’s a bit late, but the flu was killing me xD)

So, let’s start!

5.- Finntress

After what Finn had went though all the show, I was starting to think that he would never be able to find a true lover. But then, “Flute spell” appeared

I’m ngl, I never believe I would ended up loving them. We know that Finn had failed before with PB and Flame Princess, and it was a bit sad to see him as a lone guy

But I found something cute on them. Like two wild hearts together. The way they syncronize their flutes, it’s just unique

In addition, we can see how they develop their relationship in a cute and innocent way as the show progress. Her phrase “We both know you're totally in love with me” and the fact that she gave him an elk’s heart, make us see that she could accept his feelings in the end. 

Of course, the ending of the show have left us some doubts about the ship status. But, after all the teases, I’ll consider that they ended up together c:

4.- Penashi

My first OTP ever in a fandom, Penn Zero and Sashi Kobayashi. The part time hero and the part time sidekick

Well, first of all, we see that through the show, Penn appreciates the assistance of Sashi, calling her even the smartest and toughest of girls. He even takes in mind all the advices she is giving to him in some missions, and even, he says that she is “the glue of the team”

We can also see a bit of jealously between this two dorks. Penn was always jealous of how Blaze was earning Sashi’s heart with ease, and he was trying through all the episode to get her attention haha. But it’s not only on his side. Sashi didn’t like him to get close to some girls, like Pirate Maria or Orchid. Jealously between them is kinda funny, but cute xD

Their funny moment is when Penn says to her “Sashi, he's not even human, it's just not gonna work out”, when she made a good comment about Blaze. Looks like Penn wanted Sashi a lot 

Even if the show was a bit short in my opinion, Sam Levine made a good job showing the teases in this ship, not rushed, and with an amazing finale, a kiss between them. Believe me, getting your 1st OTP canon is such a unique experience and a feeling you will love for all your life

3.- Penball

My favorite ship in TAWOG since it’s released. The love between a cat and a “magical peanut”. 

We all know that they had a crush on each other from the start of the show. However, what it makes this ship so special it’s the slow development. They don’t became a couple from a day to another (or from an ep to another)

They started with small blushes, kisses on the cheek, and even had problems hiding their feelings... but everything they did was calmly. Even if we know that they would become endgame, it wasn’t that fast-formulate ship we see everyday. Their love was hidden for 2 seasons, but sure enough, it was worth the wait

It also teaches us a lesson, when love is pure and true, not even physical differences can destroy it. In “The Shell”, Penny was scared that Gumball didn’t go to accept her because of how “ugly” she looked. However, he didn’t care about it, he still loved her. 

I got a lot more ships in TAWOG, but sure enough, this is my favorite one. Pure love in a ship, even though they had their small fights and misunderstandings

2.- Radnid

Through all 2019, this had been my favorite OTP. Rad and Enid. The two bodega-workers that have a deep story together

I’m not gonna lie, with “Second First Date” I was in doubt in shipping them, but after seeing some teases of them (like Rad wanting a hug in “Let’s take a moment”) and the fact that even KO and Mr Gar ships them, made this my OTP

We see them as two simple teenagers that have a lot in common. They love the action, they watch each other’s back, and most of the time, they spend their free time doing some good pal’s stuff. In addition, we cannot deny that there were their small moments that made us ship them in like “Special Delivery” or “Red Action 3: Grudgement day” (this last one, with a bit of doubts)

And also, after watching the two young guys in the finale, I made my HC that they ended up together, and have two kids, and they lived happily ever after c: (and yes, finale is up to the spectator)

Actually, this was actually my top 1 in this list, but there was one ship that managed to fill my heart with pure cuteness

1.- Charlastor

Caught me off surprise, I never thought I would be able to find an amazing ship like this. Alastor and Charlie. What to say? 

In just one pilot, I got a lot of stuff to say. First of all, the dance scene. Isn’t it cute to see both of them dancing together? Those close encounters, those lips almost close to each other (like if they wanted a kiss), and the way they enjoyed that moment. Just gold

Then, let’s see their personalities. Two demons that like to dance and smile, have an optimistic feeling most of the times, and in addition, they got that chemestry that made us see them as a cute pairing

Also, what to say about all the sweet things Al said to her. “Sweetheard” “Charming Demon Belle” “My dear”. I mean, which lady doesn’t like those nicknames? 

I know that the show have more to give us, but I’m hopping to see more scenes of both of them c:

12) Favorite song: Either ‘sleepwalking’ by ‘the chain gang of 1974′ or ‘Hammer to fall’ by ‘Queen’!

13) My aesthetic: I have a really fancy aesthetic all the time, I love colberts but depending on the situation I change that from “casual fancy kind looking dude” to “Dark slightly intimidating black suit fancy”

14) My favorite author: Nancy Kaufmann since shes both my mother and I’m literally the protagonist of her kids book 😂 (Besides that I really like Walter Isaacson who wrote a great biography on Leonardo da Vinci, who I guess is an author in his own way so yea lets add him as well)

15) My favorite instrument: Piano, Violin and I really enjoy Blues from time to time so saxophones and muted trumpets! 

16) My favorite animal sound: Small snake hisses because they try to be super intimidating but its sort of cute. I also find the sound of a horny male elk quite funny because it sounds super creepy but really they’re just going “Hot male in your area right here, Ready for a good time! 😏 ”

17) Something random: I own a long strip of surgical metal that was in my body for 5 years, I guess thats weird and random haha

If the FFVIII characters were animals, what kind of animals would they be? (Feel free to substitute pokemon/dog breeds/plants/whatever for animals.)

Two weeks ago, I had these “down” in my head, but I neglected to write them down, so now I’m not sure I remember. 

I remember Zell was a dolphin. Not just because of his limit break but it actually does seem to suit him, in my opinion. 

Seifer and Squall I’m of two minds on, honestly. Symbolically, the lion works for Squall for a number of reasons. But I also think that a large, maned, elusive ungulate, an elk or mountain goat, would work for him personality-wise. It also fits well with his name, Leonhart--”hart” is an archaic word for stag. 

Seifer similarly has two possibilities, and which is more appropriate kind of depends on how I’m viewing him in the moment. Either a large horse/stallion full of bravado, some earned some not, or a canny shark, uncomplicated yet misunderstood, but not to be underestimated. (On a more joke-y note, I can see him as a hound, specifically a Rhodesian Ridgeback, but that’s more because it’s funny than because I think it suits his personality.)

Quistis has to be a wolf. Legendary, strong, dangerous, majestic, smart, determined, hard-working...and utterly mythologized to the point her vulnerabilities and imperfections are often erased. 

Selphie, the marten. Small, adorable, bouncy, completely badass and absolutely not someone you want to mess with because she will gleefully ruin you. Also thinks nothing of the cold. 

Xu (in a similar vein) has to be a honey badger who don’t care. 

Irvine probably should’ve been the “stallion,” but it feels more like he plays that part without actually being that, if that makes sense? He makes me think of Great Dane, tall and imposing and strikes a powerful pose when really not into the idea of hurting anyone and really needs companionship and affection to be happy. Also, have you ever met a horny Great Dane? If not, be glad. 

Rinoa...an owl. Not just because of the Forest Owls, but because she has a lot of focus, and a willingness to shift focus when necessary. She knows what she wants, she goes for it, and her decisiveness makes her either (or both) Very Dangerous or/and Very Clumsy. She’s fluffly, and she’s sharp. Expressive but sometimes hard to follow. Also, I just think the mental image is cute. 

More birds: Edea is a goose. Sometimes a Mother Goose with all her adopted goslings, and sometimes a Horrible Goose, wrecking things, depending on whether she is or isn’t possessed. 

I could probably list the rest but this has already gotten really long, haha.
