ok ok first of all congrats again for the 100 that's so cool :P

lately i've been a sucker for partyvan (peter/barty/evan) content (i admit it) and there's so little!! I love their dynamic even tho it's mostly considered a crack ship

Barty growls next to Peter. Generally, he would laugh at this because honestly, what the fuck? But this time, it's justified. Still, Peter has to at least try to be the voice of reason, he supposes.

"Barty, sweetheart, cool it with the animal noises," Peter says, placing a hand on his boyfriend's shoulder. Barty keeps up his scrunched up, angry face, and turns to look at Peter, raising an eyebrow in challenge. They have a silent conversation with their eyes that goes something like: really? you want to do this now? followed by i have to at least pretend to be the reasonable one, babe and good luck with that one, babe. Peter eventually gives up, and joins Barty in their attempt to stare holes in the back of this girl's head. The girl with long, curly black hair and piercing grey eyes. With deep brown skin that glows in the light of the casino. Wearing a skin-tight white dress and gold heels, and a downright slutty red lipstick. The girl who is currently flirting up a storm with Evan Rosier.

The worst part is, Evan looks invested in the conversation. He looks far too relaxed, smiling, and leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. Peter and Barty must look insane leering at him behind the slot machines. What a horrid display from the owners of such an establishment! Peter doesn't really care, to be honest. Somebody is trying to take what's theirs, and that's just unacceptable. With a look at Barty, they share a nod and compose themselves, walking over to Evan and this mysterious woman. Barty opens his mouth to speak but before he can, Evan cuts him off.

"Barty! Peter! Lovely to see you my dears, have you met my cousin, Bellatrix? She's thinking of investing in our casino, isn't that nice?" He asks, clearly knowing the reason they came over. Barty snaps his mouth shut and promptly turns red, it's rather endearing, really. The woman, who is apparently Evan's cousin, smiles and holds out a hand to Peter who shakes it, his other hand still on Barty's shoulder, trying to squeeze him awake.

"Yes, yes, sorry, lovely to meet you Ms-?" Barty wakes up, shaking her hand firmly.

"Black," Bellatrix replies, smiling. There's a bit of a wild glint in her eye, which might scare most prospective business partners, but for Peter, Barty, and Evan? It's perfect. This is going to be a great arrangement, Peter's sure. "Well thank you so much for meeting with me, Vanny!" Bellatrix says, leaning in to messily kiss his cheek and walk away, waving behind her.

"Vanny?" Barty asks, wiping the lipstick off Evan's cheek and laughing.

"Oh shut up, I saw how jealous you both were just now," Evan replies with a smirk, brushing Barty's hand off. He raises an eyebrow, looking between his boyfriends. They try to come up with some semblance of excuse, failing miserably but Evan cuts them off. "Mm, no, jealousy is sexy." Barty turns red, yet again. "But you know what's sexier?" he asks, leaning closer. "We made $500,000 tonight, my loves," a shiver goes down Peter's spine. And well, it's almost 3am, when the casino closes for the night, so…

“Wait, what did you say this game was called again?” Christopher asked.

“‘This or That’!” Felix replied, obviously excited. All day he had waited to try out this new personality-quiz app, having received a plethora of positive reviews from friends, coworkers, and online. As soon as his shift was up, he rushed back to the small apartment he shared with his loving boyfriend. The smoother, slimmer Christopher was surprised by his partner’s sudden enjoyment and fascination as the app finished its download.

“How does it work?”

“It’s simple,” Felix, more of a twunk vers than an actual top, replied. “Apparently the game offers you different options, red or blue, this or that. You keep filtering down before it lands on a hyper-specific personality type.”

Christopher shrugged, “Sounds simple enough, but why is it so popular?”

“It’s supposed to be like freaky accurate.” Felix opened the app and entered CHRISTOPHER into the flashing box. “I’ve been hearing about it all day, but I wanted to try it with you.”

Christopher blushed at that, watching as the first prompt came in. The app wished to know who was filling out the survey: “This” was the person themselves, “That” was another person. Felix pushed “That”.

“So you’re filling it out for me?” Christopher asked, a little bummed.

“And you’ll do mine,” Felix assured, moving past the next prompt. The first few waves were the simple ones: male or female, old or young, rich or comfortable. Christopher laid back into the couch they were both seated on, grabbing a remote and searching for a “The Real Housewives…” title. On Felix’s end, he eventually landed on a question regarding sexuality.

THIS: Heterosexuality or THAT: Homosexuality

Felix’s finger tapped “That”, but unlike before the next prompt did not appear. For some reason, the "That" option did not respond and proceed forward. He tapped it again, and again, and kept doing so until Christopher noticed.

“I think my screen may have frozen?” Felix explained. To check, he tapped the “This” option. His face skewed slightly as it accepted, moving forward.

“Is it working again, dude?” Chris asked, not looking up from his phone.

“Uh…yeah,” Felix gulped, hoping the error would not severely impact the results. He was already a good amount in, and he did not want to make his roommate wait. Felix reviewed the next prompt.

Felix knew the answer, but something told him to go with the other option. He had already messed up, so maybe it would be funny to purposely skew further. Thinking it could be a good laugh, Felix considered manipulating the quiz to manufacture the opposite. Cautiously, he pressed the “This” option, moving on.

“God, these hags are annoying…” Chris mumbled, his voice a little deeper than usual as he switched channels to something more interesting. The loud rowdiness of a football game’s broadcast quickly filled the room, but all Felix could focus on was his phone. To his surprise, after the last tap, the app had begun to filter through its own prompts on its own. Felix’s eyes tried to follow as the screen flashed with new questions and answered them accordingly.

He could not even exit the app. Desperate, Felix stood up and moved towards the kitchen, hoping to grab his laptop in order to look up some kind of solution. But before he made it, the app suddenly stopped, presenting Felix with the results.

Felix stood stunned, taking a breath and slowly reentering reality. Still on the couch and now manspreading as much as possible, Chris’s focus appeared to be solely on the cheerleaders performing their half-time show. “(y/n), tell me, what does it mean to live?” 

You froze in the middle of your actions. “Dio, what are you talking about?” You furrowed your eyes with concern. He didn’t exactly adorn his typical cunning look, but instead, more sullen. His thumb rubbed your inner waist tenderly as he held you.

It had been an indeterminate amount of time since your lustful night with Dio. Being held captive here with a stand user warping the mansion to prevent your escape made you lose track of time. You had gotten Dio to soften up by offering your body to him from time to time. But sometimes, your body isn't enough. To him, you weren’t just a body; a means to an end for his sexual gratification. You were a person, with a mind, and he wanted to know your thoughts. Your personality and intelligence are why he’s chased after you for so long. After all, his goal was to make you more like him. Today, he humbly requested that you sit on his lap and feed him desserts in an attempt to bond with you. It was him trying to follow Pucci’s advice for being a good husband but failing to make any sacrifices on his own part.

“You’ve walked free for 100 years. I want you to tell me what it means to live.” He reiterated. “I asked Enyaba but her answer was worthless to me.” You raised an eyebrow at his choice of words. “Worthless?” You stuck the fork you had been using to feed Dio into the slice of cake you were sharing. A sigh left your lips. “Why didn’t you like her answer?” You tilted your head. Dio rested his head in his other palm. “Because, how would an old hag like her know what it means to live? I could just ask the undying beauty in front of me.” You expected his mouth to curl into a sly grin as usual. You expected his eyes to narrow at you like you were a piece of meat but—he didn’t.

Dio’s face was somewhat neutral as if he were trying to think. It was almost—cute. Perhaps, you should try to humor him…for once.

“To live is to be happy. To be free.” You told him, somewhat thinking of yourself. You were trapped and hopefully, he’d get the message.

His nose crinkled up upon hearing your words. You feared he didn’t like your answer either. What was he expecting? You gave context, hoping that it would make him feel a bit better since he wasn’t exactly getting what you meant.

“While I was by myself, I did things that made me happy. New things that I didn’t even know I could be good at. Like singing.” You smiled softly, thinking back to your days when you’d go by many different identities to keep making new music.

“Singing? How boring.” Your husband rolled his eyes and shifted his weight in his chair so that he was now looking away from you. Your smile faded and you furrowed your eyebrows at him. “What’s boring is being trapped in a coffin for 100 years at the bottom of the sea!”

“Well, Darling, I didn’t have a choice. You did and you chose to entertain others. I want to hear more about your gluttonous adventures.” Dio began to smirk. He seemed to only be interested in what he liked and not what you liked. It sort of made you sad causing your neutral mouth into a frown. Your relationship was always just you trying to appease him and then he helps himself to whatever he wants, whether it be other women when you deny him, your attention, or your body when you’d finally give in.

“They weren’t ‘gluttonous adventures’ okay? I just can’t control myself sometimes—it seems.” Your gaze shifted to the ground. You were somewhat ashamed of your behavior. The more you tried to stop yourself from being a monster, the stronger that monster became. You heard Dio ‘hmph!’ next to you. “Well, for starters, you can stop starving yourself and feed freely.” His eyes returned to you before he instinctively got angry. 

“And if you didn’t know, you can always feed like this…” He raised his hand to your neck. His large hand wrapped around your dainty throat. His claws entered your skin but it didn’t hurt. “…so when it comes to feasting on those beneath me, use your hands and reserve your lips for me.”

“You’re certainly one to demand exclusivity while you go around and impregnate other women.” You rolled your eyes, trying to suppress the newfound anger any time you thought of his unfaithfulness. Dio’s smirk returned to his handsome face. “Should I have punished you some other way? I would’ve taken your womb by force but…I already have it.” He chuckled darkly. He waited with anticipation of his first child with you. It would be just one of many and they would grow up to rule the world, just like him. He just hoped that they wouldn’t take after their stubborn mother. The last thing he needed were lions that had soft hearts like sheep. 

“And you’re oddly proud of taking away my autonomy.” Your eyebrows knitted together in frustration. You still didn’t like the language he used when talking to you…but that wasn’t a "you" problem. It was a Dio problem.

You had begun to lift yourself off of him only to be pulled back down. He secured his hand around your waist even further. “Oh, don’t you even think of leaving me yet.”

Dio leaned close. So close that his nose brushed yours. A smirk was plastered on his face and, for a moment, it seemed like he was about to kiss you…and you could tell he wanted to. His eyes were set on your plush lips that were already chapped from his excessive urge to press his lips to yours.

For a moment, it did seem like he’d kiss you until he pulled away. His eyes grew cold and he seemed annoyed that he needed to rip them away from your beauty. He looked around the room as if he heard something.

Enyaba suddenly entered the room. She mentioned something cryptic to Dio. Something about training the power of his stand. What power? The only thing you could call back to was your repeating actions the day you tried to leave him again.

His anger melted away before he released you. “I’ll come find you again.” He said as you got up from his lap. You wanted to ask what exactly he’d be gone for but you knew he wouldn’t answer you. The only way to find out would be to pry the information out of a servant..or use your stand on them.

You flashed him a charming smile. A smile that caused him to blush.

“Okay. I’ll be here waiting for you.”

Oh. So that’s what it meant to live.

Your smile. Your approval. Your happiness.

Your attention. Your body. Your mind. Your soul.

Your…everything.

Your motherly instincts made you check on Petshop. The sweet bird was just as loving as ever. Although you loved him, you couldn’t help but wonder why Dio chose a bird and not something like a cat or…dog. It felt as though he was mocking you—almost. You felt like a small bird in a cage of bones. A trap with no return. But Dio’s gift to you was a large bird. One that was free and could fly wherever it wanted. It would go out every day but return back to you with free will. Just thinking about it made your eyes fill with tears.

But before you could cry…you noticed something particular about Petshop. On his talons were…ice shards? At first, it didn’t mean anything but then you remember that you were in the middle of Egypt. It was much too hot for ice to last, let alone form at all. The bird allowed you to remove them but you’d surely bring this up to Dio later. You couldn’t help but feel like he was keeping things from you. Pet shop was beautiful but you couldn’t help but wonder where he came from. It was also clear that Petshop wasn’t an ordinary bird. He was somewhat larger than any bird you’d ever seen and despite being gentle with you, it looked ferocious. It had to be a while animal…

It was enough faking your happiness. What you really wanted was to find out how Joseph and his grandson were doing. Judging by the obvious, the boys must be successfully defeating Dio’s minions. The only other people who were close to you and Dio in the mansion were Enyaba and Pucci. In reality, he was more of a “friend” to Dio than to you but he often extended his kindness to you as well. You didn’t have any friends here. Dio’s minions “worshipped” you but the person who ultimately listened to was Dio. Any one of them would turn on you at the drop of a hat.

Some time had passed when you were with Petshop. You were mesmerized by your stand. She was so beautiful and although she looked like a humanoid creature, it felt the same as looking in a mirror when you saw her. You wished that you could fully understand her power. Enyaba refused to help you by orders of Dio and he had isolated you so much that you didn’t get to exercise your power at all. 

That was until…

“Lady (y/n)…?”

An unknown person has entered Dio’s private study. Petshop’s relaxed body was not at attention, ready to attack anyone who dared come to hurt his owner.

“Yes?”

You were lying down in Dio’s oversized armchair by yourself when they had come in. You sat up, unable to make out the figure in the darkness. The voice and build let you know that it was a man but it wasn’t anyone you had recognized. As the man got closer, he gasped upon seeing you.

“You’re just as beautiful as Lord Dio described.”

Your eyebrows knitted together. “Who are you?” You questioned, seeing the person who came from the dark. It was a tall man with white skin. He was paler than Dio and he had brown hair. His outfit consisted of a purple jacket and leotard decorated with a similar heart motif that your husband’s new yellow clothes adorned. The ones that Enyaba had just begun tailoring for him.

“Please, my lady, call me Vanilla Ice.” The odd man got on his knees, clasping his hands together as if he were begging for mercy. “Lord Dio has assigned me to be your personal servant from now on.”

Your eyebrows raised. “My personal servant?”

Petshop observed your body language before going back to rest. It seems Vanilla Ice wasn’t a threat.

“Why would Dio send you now? I don’t need to be served.” You crossed your arms. Somehow, you felt less sympathy the more often you saw Dio’s minions. Perhaps, you were jaded from knowing Dio all your life because you couldn’t understand how he was able to charm so many when he was barely charming in your opinion.

“I’m sorry, my lady, but Lord Dio insisted. I am not allowed to let you out of my sight.”

Your eyebrows knitted together. “Out of your sight? For what purpose?” You crossed your arms. “Explain yourself.”

Vanilla Ice began to sweat. You could see the droplets forming on his forehead. “M-My Lord has told me that I shouldn’t burden you with such details…”

“What? I just spoke to him. Take me to where he is right now.” You commanded, making the servant’s expression worsen. “But—” The man took a step closer to you.

“Now.” 

“Lord Dio doesn’t believe you should leave this room anymore. He’s told me that you may be jeopardizing his future plans.”

He was trying to lock you away again, huh? Well, you wouldn’t allow that. Especially not in this hot Egyptian Heat. 

“I don’t care! Take me to him right now or I’ll find him myself.” Just as you finished speaking, you felt a sense of regret. You didn’t know this man. Perhaps, you shouldn’t have yelled at him…but what is done is done.

Unbeknownst to you, Dio was only just training to harness the power of his stand, but he was taking time to create insurance for you and himself, solidifying the chances of his return. He knew you didn’t approve of his relationship with Pucci. You’d never stop pestering him about it and he didn’t want to risk your stand undoing any progress he’s made in grooming the boy into doing exactly what he wants.

Vanilla Ice couldn’t help but get antsy. He felt as though failing Dio’s orders would get him on his bad side.

Upon taking you to Dio, you saw that this room was much darker than most. Enyaba was there as well. If you were being honest, you began to dislike her. She filled Dio’s head with disgusting thoughts of plot and murder. You felt as though any progress you made in your relationship with him was undone by her. It made you want to kill her. That feeble old woman. 

“Oh? And what is this?” Dio’s voice held an innocuous tone. He didn’t see upset that Vanilla Ice couldn’t so easily contain you. Around his hands were purple vines with thorns. They looked slightly out of place as if they weren’t real. At least, you hoped that your husband wasn’t actually sprouting vines from his forearms. “I am NOT letting you lock me up again.” You hissed as you pushed your way into the room, disregarding anyone who may be watching. No matter how angry you’d get, Dio hardly saw you as a threat. He could even admit that he enjoyed it when you clashed with him. The thought of a pretty rose poking him with thorns kept him on his toes. No matter what, you fueled his love for you and his ego.

Perhaps, Ice was the wrong person for the job. 

“That’s fine. I won’t lock you away.” Dio manipulated his voice to sound inviting. Maybe he made a mistake. The two of you were doing so well together. The vibes that surrounded his hands and forearms grew and they subtly made their way over to you. Instinctively, you took a step back, not yet familiar with the variety of stand powers due to Dio’s constant sheltering of you and withholding secrets.

You backed into the chest of a large man. He held you by your shoulders, not allowing you to escape. The vines wrapped themselves around your waist, pulling you closer to Dio.

You weren’t able to resist the sensation filling your body right now. It was from the vines. You reached down to try to remove them but that only made them hug your waist tighter. A smug look covered Dio’s visage. He waited until your bodies were only inches away before he spoke.

“What is your stand power? As my wife, you must answer and you must do it truthfully.” His hands settled on either side of your waist as the ethereal plants layered themselves around you. 

You had no idea what Dio was referring to…

You didn’t know what your stand did. You just talked to people and things happened.

Dio’s eyebrows knitted together slightly at your hesitation. He opened his mouth to speak but you finally spoke first.

“Mother’s Mercy can cause its targets to make better decisions.”

The man raised an eyebrow. His fingers squeezed slightly before pulling you a bit more forward. “What else? Is that it?” He asked you. Well, more so, he asked Hermit Purple. The stand was forcing you to give information. “Better decisions?” He repeated. In a fit of frustration, he let you go. He stepped away from you and his face became one of disgust. “How worthless.” 

A stand is a manifestation of the soul. You were his Queen, his Goddess who would rule alongside him. So, why has the universe granted you such a gentle stand?

“Enyaba, can I shoot her again? Would that give her a more ruthless power?” 

The old woman shook her head. “Shooting the arrow again would not have any chance of improving her granted abilities and it could disrupt the pregnancy.” She grumbled, pointing her walking stick at your belly. It was protruding a little bit. Weeks have passed since you got pregnant and now you are beginning to show.

“No, Dio, please. Not again.” Your voice was quiet as a mouse and you shook your head, recalling the pain you were in when you were first shot with the stand arrow. It felt like you had been boiled alive. The sensations were unnatural. Even with your vampire augmentation, you were unable to resist its torture.

“What good is a stand that makes my associates join my enemy? I should just lock you up and be done with it.” He began to pace around the room. “Show her out.” 

You felt Vanilla Ice tug on you but you didn’t budge. Snatching your shoulder away from him, you stepped towards your husband. “I am not going back to that room. I’m not staying locked up. I want you to stop this and call off your henchman from attacking Joseph and his grandson.”

Dio didn’t turn to address you. “And why would I do that?”

“Because, they didn’t do anything to you, Dio.” Your furrowed your eyebrows. A “tsk” sound left his mouth once you said that. 

“Do you know what Jonathan did to me…?” His tone shifted. He sounded hurt but angered as well. Dio strode over to you and grabbed your delicate hand with force. He raised it to his neck and your fingertips tips grazed the scarred issue that kept his severed head on that stolen body. “He did this. On the night of our wedding.”

“What was supposed to be the most special night of my life that I waited years for…” He let go of your hand and you let it fall to your side. You couldn’t tell if he was being vulnerable or arrogant but it seemed personal. 

While Dio might've felt like you were the only woman to ever understand him, the reality was that you didn’t. You were just able to adapt well to his unstable personality. Perhaps, that’s why he clung to you like this. Maybe, he knew and simply didn’t care if the two of you understood each other. Maybe…all that matters to him is that he could be himself and you couldn’t run away.

“So, you’re going to kill a random child because you feuded with Jonathan?” Your thumb ran over the tip of your index and ring finger.

Already, you memorized the feeling of his scars. You barely touched them. You never wanted to even though it was clear Dio yearned for it. He was too prideful to beg for it too. You didn’t want to acknowledge the confusing reality that you could be having the child of Jonathan. It made your heart want to burst. It made you want to disappear.

“Jotaro Kujo isn’t a random child. I want to destroy what’s left of the Joestars…” He made Hermit Purple appear again. “And if my minions can’t dispose of him then what better way than to do it with Jonathan’s body?”

The stand snaked up your arm and you could feel its imaginary thorns sinking into your skin. “And if you love me, you’d understand. Do you love your God?”

The same sensation from before took control of your body. So many things ran through your head but you couldn’t form any speech. “E-Erm…” you purse your lips but soon find yourself unable to make eye contact with Dio. His face became increasingly more alert. His pupils retracted as his eyes widened.

Hermit Purple vanished. You couldn’t answer even while being forced to talk.

“Get her out of my sight and take her back to her room. If she resists, use force.”

My Answers: A lot of spicy questions and takes

1. Absolutely despise it, I think people need to be more educated on the subject of how Ai is stealing other people’s artwork and ruining people’s jobs as digital artists. I get it mistakes I certainly made them but we can grow and do better.

2. I never practice but I have taken an Archtype of them for example energy of Lady Galadriel from LOTR. I don’t worship her or anything but work with similar energy. I don’t have much of an opinion on pop culture deities but it’s doing something in someone’s practice.

It truly depends on what the show or media is portraying like I love discovery of Witches, Practical Magic, Salem, even witchy aesthetic movies that isn’t meant to be witchcraft but the ideals and portrayal are similar. I wouldn’t like it if portrays witches as stereotypical old hags that eat children, Fairy Tales/Folklore are one thing if the media is showing a certain practice like Voodoo which has been misappropriated in media so many times that is disrespectful to a sacred practice then yeah I’m not going to like it. I think Penny Dreadful was the best witchcraft show ever but that’s my opinion.

Artemis and Athena for example are virgin goddesses they can’t have sex or be in sexual relationships. Sex can be also an act of miasma before the gods. Dionysus and Aphrodite allow sexual orgies but only during certain events and activities not on a daily basis. A lot people use Nuns as an example which is ridiculous because one they practice Chasity, Celibacy, and devout to Jesus but not in a sexual manner it suppose to transcends that when committing such a oath. Priests and Nuns take years before actually committing such a thing. Marriage isn’t like with two spouses that suppose to be equals, marriage in this context you are bonded with a god but that gods is still above you and they expect you to serve them no matter what. Certain Gods have or had rules for the person to serve them. Being a devoutee is fine and there isn’t anything oaths to take. I’m more concerned that godspousing will be used for elitism and a lot of beginners be taking oaths and bows without truly understanding what they’re doing. Angels cannot be godspouse that is a red flag, spirits can take advantage of vulnerable people so please be careful if you do a reading and the first thing St. Michael tells you is to marry him. Stop the reading there. Be wary and careful that’s all I’m saying. I don’t care what people do in their practice if it makes them happy great.

20. I mean it depends, if someone is telling their story about leaving paganism and there is a valid reason why they’re not identifying as pagan anymore I don’t see a problem. I have a problem with ex witches or ex pagans on evangelical Christian platforms half of these people weren’t even witches or pagans in the first place, if they were I feel bad for them truly I do cause went back to the fear mongering of Christianity but they’re also helping spreading misinformation about pagans and witches.

21. I have been an argument about Wicca. How it is a religion and that needs to be respected but I understand that Wicca has stolen a lot from different cultures and religions. I didn’t like how I handle that because I wasn’t listening to the person who was trying to explain to me. Do I think I am still in the right about my initial position? I don’t know, I still think it’s someone’s religion and beliefs that needs to be respected or if not tolerated.

I do, but there are branches like Druidry in Celtic paganism and Cult mysteries in Hellenic polytheism that are closed in these open practices because historically they were closed even in their own cultures. Santeria is a closed practice and Voodoo and Hoodoo for instance but I don’t see any wrong learning about it like the history or traditions to become aware of it and deconstruct any stereotypes about these practices like reading books or watching videos from actual practitioners from these traditions talking about their practice. But to actually perform these rituals are very much closed.

It’s not just volva initiations but also like “getting connected with said deity” it’s a full on scam.

I need to address it, there is no such thing as a natural born witch you can be born being very sensitive to psychic abilities and spirits but being a witch is something you have to do fully understand. You may grow up with magic. But I feel like witches is a calling there is psychics who don’t identify as being witches. Plus everyone had a witch ancestor in their bloodline I have it, sally down the road probably does. It also gives someone entitlement and a chance to be have power over a person. Signs of being a witch is stupid, that’s something the mediaeval villagers did by accusing people who most likely weren’t witches who were either people that were outcasted, have more knowledge of the world, simply taking care of the house and knowing how to stop a diseases spreading, minorities, plus simple birth defects meant the sign of the devil completely bs. I think said a lot of them already but here’s another YOU DO NOT NEED TO PROTECT YOUR SPACE EVERY SINGLE TIME if you want to cast a circle for every spell you can, but you don’t need to if you already have wards up, a simple talisman can help absorb the bad energy letting in the good ones, if you over do it you won’t be able to meet new spirits in the process. I cast a circle during big rituals but they’re rare or if I’m doing a ritual outside. I don’t cleanse my decks since I’m the only using them and same with crystals unless I feel as if its necessary to do so. I don’t need to set up protections every month or week, cleanse the talismans but deities and spirit allies can protect you as well during your spellwork and spaces. I don’t cast a circle when doing knot work or poppet work because I don’t find it necessary. Mirrors, a lot of videos on how to lock a mirror but never how to Unlock one, if you get a brand new mirror it’s just a mirror unless you know it’s been used or used for magical workings. But a new mirror from your retail store isn’t full of energy it’s you that makes it pulse with life and enchantment. Maybe lock it if you work with spirits occasionally and they might naturally attach but rarely they cause problems. I unlock my mirrors during scrying.

Session zero: World building and characterisation.

When Alix was "born" (I guess?), it wasn't a big shock to many. In fact, the reason she was created was that a plethora of my friends on my personal account asked me for the spicy links after a "close friends" Instagram story of me in a bodysuit. It wasn't a particularly saucy bodysuit (K-Mart special ftw), but a comment from that story, and a quick conversation with my husband, and I was off to the races - so to speak.

It also worked out perfectly since I'm 100% WFH in my civilian job. I can reply to messages, manage my SM feeds, shoot stuff, edit, whatever as long as I was getting the job that paid done too.

A frequently asked question is how I came up with the name. True to my nerd roots, I used a fake name generator I use to name my Sims. It felt fitting - I was creating a new character for myself, so why not just leave it up to chance?

So, some of the other FAQ's I get:

Q: Why don't you show face? A: This is mostly a comfort thing on my end. I'm not some hideous sea hag or anything, but being anonymous (for the most part) means I can keep Alix and Not-Alix seperate. In saying that, I'm not exactly hiding my face well or anything. And the face card can be (and has been) earnt.

Follow up question: How does one earn a face card? A: Ever met another human and you wanted to get to know them better? Treat me like I'm a human and not a fuck sleeve (that's reserved for certain people lmao). Part of it is transactional, so tipping on my content, ordering customs, etc. But part of the reason I think I excell at the Girlfriend Experience (GFE) is because I like to talk to people. I like to know how they are, what their hobbies are, etc. It makes Alix more authentic and grounded, which I value, and I think others value too.

Q: Do people who know you are behind the persona? A: Yes! Some of my biggest spenders are my friends. People who circle the acquaintance sphere can be a little weird in the way they talk to Alix, and talk to Me. While I keep the two separate as much as I can, we are, the same person. It's weird when someone you met at a work conference in an entirely different industry finds your spicy sites and starts talking like we're old friends who used to fuck.

Q: Is your husband actually cool with it? / Are you really married? A: He is, and I am! My husband and I have been together for 10 years (Jesus) and married for 5 years as of August 2024. I've always put his comfort above everything else. If I get a request I'm comfortable with but think he won't be, I'll ask him. Some people get upset with that because they aren't paying my husband or whatever, but if you aren't respecting the (very reasonable) boundaries I've established about my content and the inherently parasocial relationships SW can lead to, then you're wasting my time.

anyway for the rant, i think people online ,and especially younger ones, have an issue with virtue signaling nowadays. it’s very apparent in the kpop community. it’s like they feel so monitored that they feel the need to show others how much of a good and upright person they are, and if they don’t, then that can ONLY mean that they’re a bad person. no in between. i think that’s why they feel the need to quickly react to anything and post their sentiments denouncing this or that bad thing without first reflecting and reading up on it. apparently silence on a topic can only mean you support or condone something immoral, like can’t we just gather information first before forming an opinion?? and why do we need to tell anyone what we think or feel. it’s good to inform others and ourselves ofc, but it honestly feels like a lot of people nowadays are just retweeting, reblogging, reposting shit for the sake of LOOKING upright and not getting “cancelled”, instead of actually caring about the conversation at hand.

another complaint: if you’ve seen the woozi thing. there are people being weird from both sides 🥲 there are people calling him a ped0, spreading misinformation about him, calling him a bad person. all of that is dumb imo. then there are defenders who are saying “wow unstanning him? it’s as if you’ve forgotten everything good he’s done” HUHHH. why is that relevant. the whole conversation around it is tiring tbh

also i’ve been seeing a lot of complaints from educators that literacy rates and reading comprehension are at an all time low. it kinda shows with how people act online 😭😭😭 this is truly such a “hag” thing to say but i genuinely believe that minors’ screen time should be restricted LOL

Alright I haven't been working that hard on the november campaign, since work's been nuts and I moved recently.

BUT

I have gotten the premise and setting stuff figured out, so here's some text vomit:

PREMISE: You are passengers on the Queen Neri a coast-hopping passenger ship headed for Luskan. One dark night in the northern sea, with Luskan a day's sail away, the Queen Neri runs aground, dumping you unceremoniously into the midst of Fey Mooncussers, land based pirates who lead ships to their doom by faking a lighthouse, leaving the passengers and merchandise on the ships free for the taking. It is your goal to find your way back home from the terrible, beautiful Fey Wild.

Tier of Play is just levels 1-5, with the party leveling to level 5 either upon escape from the Fey Wild or before the fight with the Annis hag, depending on if they are getting their asses kicked by other twee-er fairy critters

SETTING CRAP:

The Fey Wild is a mirror of the Material Plane, literally. The "map" of the Fey Wild is the map of Faerun, flipped horizontally

The part of the Fey Wild that the party has been shipwrecked on, however, is just the mirrored version of Gundarlun (I am boringly calling it Nulradnug until I think of something better, maybe never). Warm, swampy, and overall damp where the "real" thing is cold, harsh, and dry.

The island is ruled over by a coven of hags, one Annis hag which is the de facto head of the coven and controls the capital city, a Green hag who controls most of the inland territory and a Sea hag who controls the coasts.

The hags pay tribute to the Autumn Court, and are technically Unseelie but who gives a shit, certainly not all powerful Archfey!

By and large the Fey folk who inhabit the island are left to their own devices and don't mind the hags except for when the hags get it in their heads to do a wee bit of tyrannizing.  For the most part, the hags are kept entertained by the steady influx of mortals and their funny trinkets which come through the Fey Crossings.

The hags have developed a way to control when the Fey Crossings open, issuing permits to open them at certain times to "legitimate businesses"

The hags do NOT control where the Fey Crossings open, nor do they control when the Fey Crossings open on the Material Plane

When a Fey Crossing opens in the Material plane, roll 1d100.

On an even number, the portal opens that number of years after the last time this portal opened in the Material plane

On an odd number, the portal opens that number of years before the last time this portal opened in the Material plane

On a 1, 50, or 100, the portal opens a few minutes after the last time it opened in the Material Plane

Talk to players about whether they want to be spit out in a different time than when they went in - no skin off my back either way (probably easier if they don't)

"Legitimate business" usually entails dragging mortals through the Crossings for the hags to eat, make deals with, and otherwise fuck over

Extra mortals are delivered to the Autumn Court as tribute

This is why the Autumn Court puts up with them, despite not liking them all that much. The Autumn Archfey may be persuaded to help the party, if they catch their attention.

NPC mortals must succeed on a DC10 wisdom saving throw (creatures with Fey Ancestry have advantage) upon being brought fully into the Fey Wild or suffer one of the following determined by a d4 (these effects may be cured by a Break Enchantment, Remove Curse or similar spell):

Become entranced - the creature will not move, speak, eat, or drink unless made to.

Become hostile: the creature will attack any other creature near it, as though fighting for its life

Become charmed: the creature treats any other creature near it as though it has been charmed by that creature

Become forgetful: 3 times a day, flip a coin. On a heads, the creature remembers everything since the last coin flip. On a tails, the creature forgets everything that has happened since it entered the Fey Wild (generally upon the start of the day and after each short rest)

Upon escaping the Fey Wild, members of the party make a DC10 wisdom saving throw or suffer one of the following determined by a d4:

1: You forget everything, as though you were never there (you keep your levels though)

2: You remember some things as though they were events of a very vivid dream. You have disadvantage on recalling information about the Fey Wild

3: You remember entering and exiting the Fey Wild, but nothing between. You know you are missing those memories.

4: You remember everything

That's honestly all I'll bother prepping for lore, that should be enough to build more specific stuff off of once there are adventurers running around and asking questions.

Next I'm gonna make some disgusting quick and dirty maps and roll up some ~~~villages~~~

What with James' NEWTs and all, their schedules are a mess so he'd- wait

Narcissa has NEWTs too… not to mention her being Head Girl. What is she doing up here? Regulus pushes James away. He looks thoroughly confused but follows Regulus' lead anyway. What Regulus finds when he looks away is Narcissa Black staring at him with disgust, with Alice Fortescue hiding behind her.

"What are you two doing here?" he asks with an accusatory pointing finger, his hand still entangled with James'.

"I imagine it's so different from what you and Potter were just doing," she replies with an edge of snark. Regulus notices that she's holding Alice's hand the same way he's holding James' and realises the similar predicament they're all in at the moment.

"Don't tell anybody what you saw here," they both say at the same time, and Alice and James descend into laughter, dragging Narcissa and Regulus down with them.

How to care for Angel!

an attempted guide by Spooky (whom is also clueless)

Food and Drink

Angel does not need to eat nor drink, but chooses to do so on occasion to not feel left out in groups. Angel’s diet consists mainly of meat (red meat preferred) but there are few other foods he enjoys. currently noted is apple slices, cotton candy, and reese’s (despite me not eating nuts)

Sleeping

Angel does not often sleep and can survive without it but it helps him to recharge and remain semi stable. Angel demands to have Vati’s music box playing and the omen doll and Vati plush near him or else he refuses to lie down. Angel also hates sleeping alone, preferring to keep 1-4 trusted people near as he rests (more than four would be too big a crowd)

Meltdowns

Angel’s meltdowns are typically non-violent unless provoked. Angel will begin to sob and either request to be alone or start climbing all over people. if he requests to be left alone, leave him near a wall and don’t face him nor acknowledge him, but keep him in the same room. if he gets overly affectionate then tolerating the affection is the safest option. if you are unwilling to be touched then pass him to someone close or if his particular form of affection is disgruntling you then you can request something else, he will most likely oblige happily.

Temper tantrums

Angel has a tough temper to deal with, he flares up at the slightest of things. these can be caused by many things as Angel is very sensitive. these tantrums are best calmed down by gentle tones, light touch, and support objects (his plushies, a flashlight, ties etc). auditory regulation isn’t the most ideal but the following tracks can and do help sometimes: A B C physical regulation is a better option, allowing him to hold and fidget with things that he likes and if he likes you enough, hugs and maybe even small kisses make him feel better. visual regulation does not work unless you’re in a forest.

Unusual phrases

Angel uses a variety of words and phrases that may confuse any people not used to him. the most noteworthy is what he calls people, as Angel refuses to use some people’s names, instead referring to them as a name he chooses himself. Angel gives names to people who he likes a lot or people who he believes will “taint [his] mouth” if he speaks of them (meaning people he hates). it tends to be easy to tell the difference, as the people he likes will get names such as Ghosty, Red and Stripes while people he isn’t so fond of would get names like Bastard Child or Hag. Angel also has fluctuating speech patterns that change with his mood and who he’s talking to, appearing mostly as somewhat formal. he won’t act more warm and friendly around people unless he feels 100% safe around them, which is a difficult achievement. only one person is noted to have succeeded this.

Concerning activities

Angel has many activities that he enjoys doing, some of which are not so appealing to people who want me alive, healthy and out of jail. Angel enjoys climbing and crawling, and will often challenge himself to climb on roofs and walls. this should be redirected where possible, if not stopped. he likes to see fires, and will try starting them himself. this should be stopped. Angel often tries to harm young children and animals, this should also be stopped. Angel enjoys exploring forests, this is allowed with supervision as otherwise he will get us lost so he can stay longer. Angel likes to play ‘hide and seek’, where he runs off once your back is turned. if Angel is found, he becomes agitated. it is best to pretend you can’t see him even if he’s not the best at hiding, as proper hiding makes him paranoid. Angel will also try to scare people, either by moving things about, leaving questionable things laying about or by jumping out at them. it is best to pretend you were scared by his attempts.

Stimming

Angel’s main form of stimming is physical, as he likes to cling to people to calm himself. he also tends to flap his wings when excited, so it’s best to give him room. most of his other stims are identical to mine, so flapping hands, jumping, screams and squeals, rocking back and forth, music, and making sounds. Angel does not often get overstimulated but when he does his movements are extreme, it’s recommended you keep a safe distance in high stress or exciting situations or environments

Family

Angel holds family as the highest value in his life. nothing matters more to him, and he’s very picky with who gets considered family or not. obviously he has his biological family, and my biological family are also his to some extent and he will still recognise them as such, but if asked who his family is he will list Spooky (me), Cassidy, Jessica, Ghost, and Red (my husbands). he had others he considers family (all people who have place in the outer headspace) such as Vati (his father), Martina (his mother), Christy, Kayla, Hagar (his sisters) and Oscar (his brother)

Headspace

Angel has his own headspace, although it works differently to mine. nobody can front nor communicate with anyone but Angel, and they’re a lot less separate. Angel’s ever-swapping personalities can be put down to this. he can also choose to take the form of any of his ‘internals’ whenever he pleases, although doesn’t often use any but Oliver. further descriptions here.

So actually some of the past Exo tracks aren't for me, but this album is really sooooolid, it's definitely cohesive sonically, the r&b undertones, THE FUCKING HARMONIES HELLOOOOO EARGASM! So actually some of the past Exo tracks aren't for me, but this album is really sooooolid, it's definitely cohesive sonically, the r&b undertones, THE FUCKING HARMONIES HELLOOOOO EARGASM! But also thematically it's definitely an album made for horny people lmaoooo. I'd have to give it more listens to establish which songs stopd out to me the most, but so far I think Regret It and Private Party are my faves!

But Nate had been playing this game far longer and better than the likes of Leocadie Winters. Nate rolled his eyes, and fixed on Cadie a look he’d picked up from Harriet that said her stupidity was testing his patience. “Do try to keep up, Cadie…” he drawled, failing to suppress the thrill that ran through him at how easy this still was. “…just because we all had to scry to find a few sparse words on your nuptials at the back of the paper doesn’t mean you need to spoil a good thing for your sister. Not to mention that if you focus so much of your clearly pent-up energy on being a jealous old hag, you’re bound to wrinkle that gracefully aging face. Or didn’t your housewife’s discount subscription to Witch Weekly teach you that?” The depraved serpentine creature that had slithered into Nate’s body the second he’d decided it was necessary to summon the old Nathaniel Pinnock persona hissed and roiled with glee at the outraged expression on Cadie’s face, the way she so resembled a show pony when her mouth fell open in insult, momentarily disarmed and speechless in the face of Nate’s brazen gall. He seized the reprieve from her very obnoxious voice to strike: “Which—now that I think about it—is exactly where you should look for any further news on the ‘big engagement’…” He leaned right into her space and added in a hushed, goading tone, “…it’ll be on the front page.”

Nate winked, and then very rudely reached an arm past Cadie to snatch a goblet of wine from a passing tray, which effectively shoved her out of his way. He made his way into the crowd, ignoring the squawk of indignation from behind his back and allowing himself just one moment of smug pleasure before coiling the venomous creature within him back into its gilded cage. 

He would need to summon up something far more formidable in order to face a real villain like his father.

Well, well—it looks like her time in the loony bin was a bust. Surprising no one…thought Hamilton Pinnock with pity and disgust as he beheld the young woman’s trembling back. Of course he’d had no problem with selling her out when her family had come knocking, pointing them in Nathaniel’s direction when the pair of spineless little oathbreakers had reneged on their contract. And finding out that the girl’s family was having her committed had seemed like punishment enough, at the time—after all, what could be gained from breaking a horse that was already broken?

But naturally, little words like in perpetuity always returned on their investment, in the end. As it so happened, it had been just over one full year since Xiomara and his son had willingly broken the terms of their agreement. And as luck would have it, now was when Hamilton Pinnock had need to yank on those legally binding chains.

Xiomara finally turned to face him, and Hamilton had to give the girl credit for daring to look him in the eye with that laughably feeble attempt at defiance. Foolish and pointless though it may have been, she had some nerve.

A Machiavellian smile pulled gruesomely at his face. “Bold of you and Nathaniel to come crawling out of hiding on such a big night for the Pinnock family. No doubt my son’s grown bored with you and the societal exile you dragged him into—I wouldn’t take it to heart, my dear, he’s always been rather incontinent that way. He gets it from his mother…” 

Xiomara’s lips tightened into a flat line, her eyes narrowing, but she held silent. Good—at least the tart knew when to hold her tongue during a monologue. “…I’ll admit, I find myself—disappointed in you, Miss Winters,” Hamilton continued. “After your former associates spoke with such colorful detail about your commitment to doing any job that was demanded of you, no matter the, shall we say…sometimes degrading personal cost…” The girl reddened at the insinuation, and Hamilton took a step closer. “…all that infamy, and then come to find you can’t even complete the most straightforward of jobs? Such a letdown…”

Through gritted teeth, Xiomara hissed, “Is it a family trait, then—that insufferable need to hear yourself talk? Or is there something that you actually want from me, Sir?”

But Hamilton Pinnock just chuckled and inched one step nearer. “Did you really think you’d get away just like that? You’d spend a few months in a psych ward working on yourself and then get a clean slate, a fresh start, a diamond ring on your finger after shacking up with my son like some high lord’s mistress?” His tone was thick with cruel mocking. “Did you honestly believe that one year would be all it would take for our agreement to be forgotten, for your disobedience and your transgressions to be forgiven?” And finally, the girl had the good sense to look shaken; she opened her mouth to respond but before she could, Hamilton Pinnock raised his free hand and snapped his fingers—a sharp and acute pop of sound amidst the steady thrumming noise of the party. “I’ll grant you the rest of the evening to carefully consider your answer—per our original agreement, you will tell me where Harriet is or suffer the consequences. Better yet: deliver my daughter to me, and I’ll reconsider handing over Nate as collateral until the job is done. That is, of course, after they’re through with you…”

Xiomara’s body tensed, her eyes darting this way and that with dread as the spell fully took effect. She breathed out the word, “Who?”

Hamilton grinned like a shark circling blood in the water as he said, “Oh, did I not make myself clear enough earlier? Your former employer has kindly agreed to remind you what it means in this business when you give a man your word…” 

Then he stepped aside to reveal Xiomara to some notable faces from her past, roughly shouldering their way through the crowd.

The Winters sisters had always been told they looked scarily identical, but Cadie and Xiomara couldn't have looked less similar that evening if they tried. While Xiomara's hair had been freshly cut to her chin, straightened so that the ends looked razor sharp, Cadie's locks had been curled to an inch of their life, wrapped up in a gaudy, bow-shaped updo. Xi's golden dress hugged her body, revealing long legs adorned by sharp stilettos. She looked dangerous. Leocadie, however, looked like Shower Pouf Barbie, her spray tan just a shade too orange for the eyes to stay entirely restful.

And Xiomara hadn't even had a chance to snap some witty remark at her sister, before she burst in high-pitched French: "Can I see it? The ring?"

Xi squeezed Nate's arm, but looked puzzled, "What ring?"

In a show of absolute mercilessness, Cadie switched to English before she commented, "Our Maman et son Pere said Nathaniel's proposing tonight!"

Xiomara immediatley released herself from Nate's arm, her face pulling up in disgust as she looked across at him, "... No you are fucking not."

Who the fuck did Nate think she was, that she would want a proposal while she was wearing a borrowed dress? And at someone else's Christmas soiree, of all places? When her nails weren't done? So angry with him, Xi didn't even wait for his gape-mouthed response before storming away in search of the wine for which she'd bothered dragging herself there.

Dismissive of Xiomara's anger, Cadie grinned up at Nate, "This is simply the best news. We must start planning an engagement party at once. Do you think you'll get married in France? Oh, silly, of course you would. Xiomara would never let the children be raised in England."

Xiomara's march to the corner of the room, where a fountain of dirigible plum wine awaited her, felt far too quick. She was furious, and hot, and annoyed. The glasses resting on the table tinkled as she grabbed a bottle and poured herself a glass, and she glared at them, laying her palms flat on the tablecloth. There was no point reminding herself to breathe, to steady herself, to keep her entropy at bay. When she gulped down the wine, she was forced to inhale anyway, practically slamming the glass down when she was done.

"Always knew how to make an entrance, my son." Xiomara froze at the voice behind her, her muscles tensing. The wine fountain was pouring into a waiting bowl, and it rippled as she stared through it, threatening to burst. Her toes curled in her shoes.

"He's not with me," She said, still staring at the wine. "He's with Cadie. He's by the door."

Hamilton sighed, inpatient for her to turn around. He waited, and Xiomara had to still herself before she did so. "Miss Winters, it's not him I want to talk to. I believe we had an agreement."
