Vi x Reader (Part One)
(Childhood friends to lovers)
You and Vi had been friends for as long as you could remember, which is why it took you by surprise she would make such a irrational decision without telling you.
A/N:Just a little something something. A prologue, if you will.
For as long as you can remember youâve been part of the undercity. Such a fate never really bothered you. Your family life was broken and your chance of survival was quite low, but you miraculously had made some friends who looked out for you, and you did the same for them.
And among that group of friends was a girl whom you grew to care about to a deeper extent than you could ever even begin to fathom.
When she wasnât out stealing or picking fights with people, she was with you, hanging out and having fun. Forgetting what horrors life in the caverns below the glistening city of progress held.
That girl, of course, was Vi.
You walked through the darkened streets of the city, your feet carelessly walking through puddles of water that was contaminated with liquids youâd rather not waste your thoughts on finding out. You kept your head down, avoiding eye contact with anyone looking to pick a fight, and keeping yourself as compact as possible incase you needed to book it. Such is the way of the fissures.
Your tensed state lasted only until you reached your usual hang out spot, The Last Drop. It was owned by Vander, a man with a big heart and even bigger gauntlets. He looked out for any kid that crossed his path, despite how weak it made him seem to some of the others around him, who grew restless with his complaisance in the grand structure of things.
That, however, did not concern you. All you cared for was seeing your best friend.
Just before you could fling the door open and make your usual obnoxious entrance, the door opened with a swift tug and almost caused you to stumble forward.
You looked up slightly and made eye contact with none other than Vi.
But something was wrong.
Something was very wrong.
Her eyes fluttered open a little wider than they normally rested, her pupils focusing on your quickly as she moved back a bit in the door way. Clearly she wasnât expecting you.
âVi, Whatâs up?â You asked, a smile on your face to mask your concerns but anyone with a brain could see past it without much effort. Your eyebrows creased as you realized she was no longer looking at you. The pink haired girl let out a quick sigh before grabbing your hand and moving past you.
âCome on.â She said in a quieter tone than normal. You of course followed suit with little to no arguments, your main concern was just figuring out what was wrong. It wasnât long before she stopped, taking you both into an alley way only a few feet from the bar as she let go of your hand. You couldnât help but notice the absence of warmth as she did, but you shook the thought from you head nonetheless as you looked back toward her.
âVi?â You called out quietly, moving your face a bit more towards your line of sight, almost as if you were forcing her to look at you. This only resulted in another sigh before she took a pause. She wanted to say something.
She was dying to say something.
âVi, whatever it is, would you just spill it. Youâre killing me here.â You remarked sarcastically, trying to lighten the very clearly damper mood as you continued to stare at her.
She then, finally, turned back towards you. She moved her bandages hands gently on to both of your shoulders as she stared at you.
âYou remember that job that went to shit topside right?â She asked, now looking you dead in the eyes. Her blue eyes seemed to care the weight of a lot of stress, a lot of which you knew she was keeping on herself as to not burden anyone else with it. How you wished she would listen to you when you said she could tel you anything.
You finally nodded in response to her question.
âOf course I remember, who doesnât?â You replied in an obvious manner.
âWell, the enforcers want someone to take the blame for that crime.â She continued, her hands still gently grasping both your shoulders as if to keep you from running away. You were firmly planted regardless of whether she let go or not, what could possibly turn you away from her?
âOkayâŚ? But itâs not like you had anything to do with it so why does that matter?â
It was then you watched as Viâs lips pressed into a thin line. The crease in her brow faded as she looked at you with a softened gaze. Only then did it click for you.
âWait so you⌠youâre going to let them take you?â
âItâs the only way to fix whatâs happening.â She replied quickly as if she was prepared for your protests. However, it only further progressed your confusion.
âFix what? Whatâs happening?â You asked.
Then it dawned on you, she was keeping things from you once again for the sake of âprotectingâ you. You absolutely despised when she kept you out of the loop with things she knew youâd want a hand in if you had known about.
âI canât explain just-â She tried to respond, but you cut her off.
âWhat do you mean you canât explain? Just tell me.â You practically pleaded.
âLook itâs just⌠itâs a long story but I-â She once again tried to excuse, only for you to cut her off.
âNo, Vi. Why wonât you ever tell me anything until youâve already made a decision! Did one else get a say in this? How are you so sure this fix anything?â You exclaimed. You could feel her grip on your shoulders ever so slightly tighten as our words became more laced with desperate anger.
âIt will. It has to.â She responded simply, to which you retorted,
âAnd what if it doesnât? Hm? What if it doesnât fix anything, Vi. You know an enforcers word doesnât count for shit how can you-â
âI have to try.â She once again responded simply.
âVi please would you just-â By now your anger has dwindled and you were just simply desperate to try and talk her out of this.
âI have to do this!â She shouted. You noticed she was no longer looking at you, but now at the floor.
âWhy?â You exclaimed.
âBecause itâs the only way to protect the people I care about from my own mistakes! I did this. This is my fault, I thought we were ready, I thought we could handle it but⌠but I was wrong. And now Iâve put them all in danger and I- I have to make up for this.â
You went quiet. Classic Vi. Taking the blame all to herself when thereâs more than enough to go around. One could almost call her selfish.
âAnd what about me? Were you planning on telling me about this before you decided to throw yourself to the wolves?â You responded quietly.
âI figured it would be best if you didnât know what happened.â She said, he words just barely above a whisper as her view slowly worked its way back up to your eyes.
âWhat so I could instead just, I donât know, think you died?â
âI donât know I just-â
âMaybe itâs better if I found out you gave yourself over and I had no idea.â
âJust-â
âOr Maybe, I wouldâve been really dense about it and wouldâve just thought you were really good at avoiding me. Maybe thatâs the better outcome.â
âStop!â She shouted, her hand had swiftly moved from your shoulders and planted firmly on either side of your face. She gently held you in place, keeping you looking at her.
âJust⌠stop. Okay, maybe I didnât think it through very well but I just wanted to protect you⌠okay? In the only way I knew how.â
âYou donât have to protect everyone, Vi.â
She didnât respond.
Classic Vi.
You sighed, knowing that she was dead set on her decision and nothing was going to change that. Not even you.
âLook. If youâre⌠really set on doing this you have to promise me one thing, okay?â
She looked back, a hopeful glint in her eyes.
âWhen you come back, and you will come back, youâll start opening up more. Okay?â
This earned a slight chuckle from the pink haired girl as she looked towards you.
âAnd⌠promise youâll come back.â You added on. The playful look in your eye faded as you realized there was no promising such a thing. You both knew fairly well that this was likely going to be the last time youâd ever see each other again. Both such is the way of a child, you held out on a naive string of hope.
Vi nodded carefully, as if deep in thought. Her eyes jumped from feature to feature on your face, committing it to memory as she the suddenly engulfed you in a hug.
âI promise.â
That was the last time you saw her. You donât even know how many years itâs been since the incident. Once word spread that Vander and the others had died, you and everyone else assumed that meant Vi died along side them. You held out hope that maybe one day, sheâd miraculously reappear, but as the years dragged on your focus strayed from your old friend and more onto your own survival.
The Undercity is an eat or be eaten kind of place.
What good would you fair Vi if you got eaten?

Happy happy holidays đđđđââď¸ As always, Iâd love some more of thee MDZS Identity Porn (with the masks and LWJ getting jealous of all of his husbandâs âhusbandsâ) (Or JC traveling back in time?) Thanks!
a continuation of 1 2 3 4 5
Nie Huaisang has spent most of the banquet fluttering back and forth between his brother and Meng Yao, stroking and then soothing Nie Mingjue's anger by turns.
At this point, Lan Wangji can't help but find himself wholly unsympathetic to Nie Mingjue's plight. Meng Yao has his husband's trust and care and whatever friction he'd experienced in the Nie is lacking in the Burial Mounds.
The more formal portion of the night has faded and people are intermingling and drinking and spread throughout the Jin gardens and main hall.
Wen Qing spends the evening drinking and scowling and unsubtly putting as much distance between herself and Jiang Wanyin as possible.
Lan Wangji had gotten so caught up talking with his brother and other Lan, now that it's socially permissible to do so, that it takes him a while to notice that his husband is missing.
It takes him significantly less time to notice that Nie Huaisang is missing too.
His face drops into a scowl that he's afraid he's learned from Wen Qing. Xichen blinks then his eyebrows push together in concern. "Wangji?"
He forces his face to smooth out. "Apologies, brother. It's nothing."
Xichen raises an eyebrow then leads him away from the others with some murmured excuses that they pretend to believe. âGo on.â
âItâs fine,â he insists, then under his brotherâs unwavering gaze swallows down his embarrassment to say, âThe Yiling Patriarch and I have a political marriage.â
âYes,â Xichen agrees in puzzlement before his faces darkens. âIf he is behaving dishonorably-â
âHe had a life before me, Xichen,â he says. âHis personal and political interests are simply not aligned.â
Not completely. He had flustered Wei Wuxian before. Heâs never seduced anyone before, but Wei Wuxian seems as if heâd be amenable, if only he can figure out how to do it.
Xichen looks at him carefully before his mouth tips up on the side. âThis is displeasing to you. That the Patriarchâs interest in you is not personal.â
He flushes but gives a single nod.
Thereâs clear amusement in his tone now. âSo he is handsome under the mask then?â
âXichen,â he says, helpless and a warning at once. Heâd spoken in generalities all evening, unwilling to reveal any of the particulars about the clan heâs married into, even to his brother. Meng Yao and Wen Qing are correct. Their clan will have to come more fully into the public soon but thatâs Wei Wuxianâs decision, not his.
Well, realistically itâs Meng Yaoâs, considering it seems as if Wei Wuxian would happily keep[ their clan in the shadows forever.
âDo you promise itâs not terrible?â Xichen continues, the teasing gone and just leaving gentle concern in its place. âYou werenât just saying that so the others wouldnât worry? The burial mounds is such a horrible place. I hate thinking of you there.â
The burial mounds are beautiful.
It holds their village and their people and lush fields and thriving crops. Thereâs soft greys and blue skies and every horrible part of it is underneath his husbandâs control and he would never, ever let that horror touch the people heâs sworn to protect.
âItâs not what it looks like on the outside,â he says finally. âThe Patriarch isnât either. Youâll understand when you see it.â
âIâm looking forward to it,â Xichen says.

Vampire v Hunter Fledgling letâs goooo
Tw: Reader is fatally wounded and dies but it is not shown graphically.
Honestly it was cute in the beginning, to be singled out by a Hunter, it hadnât happened in centuries. It was a bit of an ego boost to think his name was still being spread.
The first time he sees them he almost coos, looking at this twee Hunter, all serious in their leathers, a black mask staring at Him across the room. What really piqued his interest was the fact that they never spoke.
Their first fight was more, well, a play fight for him if he was honest. He threw insults and witticisms trying to get a reaction from the Hunter with no luck. No matter how much he mocked and belittled them, they never once spoke back. Or really make noise other than grunts or slight groans due to exertion. It was charming actually, so many Hunters had their little speeches ready, about their tragic life or to mock Him, or worse go on a tirade about âgoodâ and âevilâ. Those ones never lasted long, too caught up in their egos to focus on the extremely hard task of actually killing a vampire.
If theyâre silent well, that means business, a single minded focus that He could respect. So he lets them live after the first fight. A reward for tracking him down when so many had failed in the first place, something to soften the failure of trying to kill him. He figured heâd never see them again, and he was feeling generous.
Oh but you had to keep finding Him didnât you? Second time you ambushed him he chalked it to dumb luck, and fought you off with him seriously pulling his punches. You were still silent and nothing he seemed to say got you to crack. The third time was just annoying, he was headed to a party hosted by a dear friend, only to find you waiting right outside for him. He didnât kill you that time, mostly because he didnât want to be more late because than he already was.
The fourth time you appeared he was completely done with the situation. It has been fun the first few times but it was starting to seem like you needed a harsher lesson. He was going to just break a limb or something, force you to stop for a while.
And then you winged him, the spike firmly lodged in his left arm. Thatâs when he was done playing. Faster than you could see he moved forward and threw you into the nearest wall.
It was pitiful, even if he didnât have much pity at the moment, to see you on your side breathing ragged your body too hurt to even curl into yourself. He pulled out the stake complaining about his shirt and the hole left behind as he strolled up to the Hunter who was trying and failing to reach their cross-bow stake launcher, and He stepped on it, breaking it with a satisfying crunch.
The Hunters hand fell and their body stilled as he got closer.
âHonestly, if a vampire beats you three times you should learn your lesson. I was being quite generous with you, but the âindomitable human spirit etceteraâ,â he said his tone bored, as he prodded at the Hunterâs quivering body. âThat would be the shock settling in,â he said blithely, going to stand up before changing his mind. âActually,â which was the only warning you got when he pulled off the mask and you closed your eyes waiting for the killing blow.
When you looked at Him, abject horror was not what you expected to see on his face. Had you been injured that bad? You donât think he got your face. The Vampireâs face was glued to yours and for a moment you were unsure if the silence was worse than a quick death.
âYouâre eleven!â He balked pulling back for a second. He was of course off by a decade more or less, but the thought was still mildly annoying.
âWhoâs letting you do this? Where did you get your equipment? Where in gods name are your parents?â
From your limited prospective he seemed to be having a complete mental breakdown. He kept speaking in some language you didnât recognize as he looked over your body again and again. Then his eyes seemed to get wider as he remembered that you were in fact dying at the moment. There was no hospital near enough even with his supernatural speed it wouldnât be enough time, even if someone came at this very moment he didnât like your odds of survival.
Part of you relaxed when he finally bit down on your wrist, some of it due to his venom, but the other smaller part who was just ready for the pain to end.
You had not expected to come to, still laying on the ground as a seeping cold numbness grew. Your body hurt but not like it had before, somehow this pain was more terrifying. You spoke for the first time, asking in a broken voice what heâd done to you.
He on the other had just seemed relieved to see you awake. âI saved you darling,â he said running a hand over your head. âYou donât have to worry about anything ever again.â
How big of a lie it was.

Embrace Him
alternate!ARCHANGEL GABRIEL x READER
sypnosis: you teeter on the edge of madness, only to find a dark solace in the tender illusions of a sinister guardian who promises unsettling affection.
disclaimers: reader is misanthropic, implied stockholm syndrome, gaslighting, horror elements, psychological manipulation
-------
âI always wondered if madness came with a manual."
The world outside your window seemed to be a canvas smeared with dreary shades of gray, punctuated only by the occasional flurry of chaos. Yet, amidst the motonamy, there was an anomalyâa shadow that stood on the edge of your vision, always lingering just beyond the glass. A dark figure, angelic in its unsettling beauty, seemed to mock the very essence of serenity that you had perfected. It was a presence that defied logic, a specter that made you question your own sanity. Perhaps it was your mindâs last cruel joke, or maybe the universe had decided that even in your indifference, it would not spare you the bitterness of its absurdity.
The whispers of the townsfolk tagged you as ruthless, as though your calm demeanor was a veneer for some intrinsic malevolence. They spoke of you as a creature driven by some dark, unquenchable thirstâa malignant force wrapped in the guise of human frailty.
Your days were spent in a monotonous ritual of existence, where each moment bled into the next with the predictability of a metronome. The only disturbances were the fleeing glances of that figure outside your window. He was always thereâan angel of darkness, a haunting silhouette that seemed to feed on your isolation.
One evening, as you lay in bed staring at the ceiling, a soft knock echoed through the room.
Rising from your bed, you approached the door. The darkness of the hallway seemed to pulse with an almost palpable energy, and as you opened it, you were greeted by the very entity that had haunted your peripheral vision.
There hs was, in all his grotesque splendorâa being of celestial gracd twisted into a mockery of divine perfection. His eyes, deep and infinite, seemed to hold the weight of the countless secrets.
You instantly slammed the door in his face and locked it, fully. Whipping around, your cold hand clutched your heart, feeling how fast it beat. He was here, in your home.
âMy little lamb,â He called out, his tone smooth and almost tender. âYou look so lonely here. I thought I could keep you some company.â
âWho are you.â You whispered, yet your voice was loud enough for the alternate to hear.
A soft knock on your door again. âI am someone who cares about you, sweet child. You have been so isolated, so neglected. I am here to make sure you are never alone again.â
âCares about me? I don't needââ
âShh,â He interrupted, the sound of nails scraping on your wooden door. âYou do need me. And I need you. We are bound by something far deeper than you can comprehend. Let me show you how much you are cherished.â
You heard a knock again, though this time louder.
âYou are so special to me. I know the world has been cruel, and I understand you have felt abandoned. But here, with me, you are safe. You are loved. Open the door.â
Your heart pounded loudly, almost a melody for the alternate. That was the most you felt alive. âNo, I donâtââ
A soft persistent banging on your door interrupted you. âPlease, do not shut me out. I am here for you, lovely. You do not have to be alone anymore.â He pleaded melodically, his voice breathy yet menacing. It almost made you give in.
The pounding grew louder, more insistent. You could almost feel your body going numb, your eyes widening.
âLet me in, sweet child. You deserved to be loved. I can make all the pain disappear. Just trust me.â
Each word was punctuated with a heavy thud. Your pulse quickened, your resolve wavering. For a moment, you considered running and climbing out the windowâcalling for help, doing anything to escape this monster trying to break through.
But then the banging stopped.
Silence.
âPlease,â came the voice once more, soft now, almost vulnerable. âI donât want to hurt you. I only want to take care of you, precious dove. I have been with you for so long now... Have you not felt it? The comfort in the chaos? Let me in, and I will show you what love truly feels like.â
Your fingers hovered over the lock. The door felt too thin. The air seemed too heavy.
âYou donât have to be alone anymore. You donât have to pretend to be all right.â His voice was coaxing, a subtle promise threaded through every word.
âI will be everything you need. I will take away the pain, the fear. Just open the door. Let me in.â
You swallowed thickly, your thoughts tangled into a mess. This wasnât real. None of this was real. And yet... the loneliness, the isolation that had haunted you for years whispered back, telling you how right it sounded. How good it would feel to finally stop pretending. To let someone care.
Against every rational thought screaming in your head, you turned the lock with your eyes closed. The door clicked open.
And then he was inside.
Gabriel gently pushed your head to his chest, cradling it like it was fragile. His bony thumb stroked your hair ever so slowly, and gently. For the first time
âI will take care of you now, and you will never feel lonely again.â He cooed, his fingers the outline of your cheek, sending shivers down your spine. Your body trembled, yet you couldn't pull away.
The warmth of his voice seeped into you, and though you knew, somewhere deep down, that this wasnât right, the illusion was too intoxicating to resist.
âReally.â You muttered, barely audible.
His smile widened, a dark glint in his eyes. âI promise.â

Coincidental Matchup
Dazai
Despite everything Dazaiâs been through, he can be a very a silly guy and will take full advantage of any opportunity to enjoy that
So when the ADA is promised to attend a huge Halloween bash in Yokohama and Kunikida is on everyoneâs case about dressing up and behaving professionally, Dazai takes it to heart
On the night of the party, everyone is in costume
Ranpo is dressed as Sherlock Holmes, a little uninspired, but acceptable
Atsushi and Kyouka dressed as toned down slashers from a cheesy horror film they enjoyed
Even Yosano had agreed to come, dressed as a corpse bride
Dazai decided to indulge in one of his favorite movies, Howlâs Moving Castle
Dressed as the titular wizard, he mingled and played it up to the fullest
It wasnât long before he started getting comments about âhis partnerâ having created an equally impressive costume and people thinking it was so cute that theyâd dressed up together
Naturally, he slipped away to get a better view of the party and figure out what people were talking about
Thatâs when he spotted you, a meticulously managed white-gray wig on your head, lingering by the buffet
He took full advantage of the opportunity and sidled up to you with a fittingly flattering compliment on your costume
You responded with a kind smile and an understanding look when you took in his costume
For the sake of ease (or so he says) Dazai suggests sticking together, especially once you mention your colleagues have all disappeared into the unfamiliar crowd
You agree to do so, enjoying yourself far more than you expected now that you had someone to talk to
And Dazai is more than happy to listen, watching with focused eyes as you chat about your job, your costume, and anything else that comes to mind
As a joke, you both just pretend to be together whenever someone compliments either of you for the remainder of the night
You have to admit, youâre a little surprised when you try a cafe on a whim a few weeks later to see him sprawled out dramatically in a booth while a young man with an unfortunate haircut listens to him moan about his big missed opportunity
Without saying a word to alert him, you pass by and smile at the waitress there, ignoring the exaggerated gasp he lets out when his eyes land on you again
Maybe heâd make a good costume partner next year too
Chuuya
For Chuuya, I donât really see him dropping the mafioso business for a costume party unless his partner asked him too, so weâll go with an au
Chuuya is a sophomore in college, and his roommates decide to throw a Halloween party that he canât really get out of
Rather than pouting about it, he decides to just go with the flow and come up with a simple costume that wonât draw much attention
He digs a black t-shirt out of his closet that has flecks of bleach on it, which conveniently makes it look sort of like ground pepper
Paired with some black jeans and a little slip of paper labeled âpepperâ safety pinned to his front, he has a low effort costume that will keep his roommates off his back
The party is a little more popular than Chuuya expected for how little he sees his roommates bring friends over
He primarily keeps to himself, listening to the music, staying close to the walls, and manning the front door when handfuls of trick-or-treaters come by
Right as he goes to close the door after a pack of teenage princesses leave, a voice calls for him to wait
You come strolling up the front steps with a friend of yours just behind you, each of you carrying two six-packs of drinks
Chuuya holds the door open and ducks back to make for your full arms, nodding as you offer a quick thanks
He doesnât really take notice of your outfit, since he has no reason to do so, but it doesnât escape him that itâs pretty simple
All he sees as you and your friend walk by is a flash of white
You meet with one of his roommates in the kitchen, setting down the drinks and trying not to watch him greet your friend with an enthusiastic kiss
Once he steps back to say hello to you, he takes in your costume and gets this stupid grin on his face youâve learned to dread
All heâll say is that you have a missing piece out in the party, and encourages you to find it
You try to brush the comment off and wave to your friend who has already drifted into a conversation with someone else
The only reason youâd agreed to come was because your friend insisted they wanted to introduce you to their boyfriendâs roommates
Of the other five young men who lived in the rented house, three were in college, same as you
Two of them were single and your friend never let you forget that you were too, but could easily change that
So you conceded to their begging and slapped a name tag labeled âsaltâ onto your white shirt and let them drag you off to the party
Now that you were here, you wished you could have turned them down
The music was too loud, and everyone was too close
So you shuffled along the edges of the main room and darted over to sit halfway up the staircase leading to the second floor
You had about two minutes of peace before a heavily inebriated guy stumbled up past you headed for the bathroom and made a comment about having seen âyour boyfriendâ by the front door earlier
You didnât have a clue what he was talking about, but you received similar remarks for another half an hour while Chuuya heard the same
He was the first to break and went looking for his supposed âpartnerâ
You were still on the stairs when he found you, scrolling on your phone and tapping your feet to the beat from the living room
âHey there, Salt.â
Your eyes flickered up to meet his, drifted down to his shirt, then back up.
âAh. Pepper. Now I get it.â
âYouâve been getting comments all night too, huh?â
âYep. I was starting to think there really was a boyfriend I didnât know about.â
Chuuya chuckled and came up to sit a few steps below you, both of you curling in on yourselves to take up less room.
âMy nameâs Chuuya, by the way.â
âY/N.â
It didnât take long for Chuuya to realize it was too loud in the house for both of you, so he lead the way back out to the porch, where you spent the remainder of the night handing out or eating from the bowl of candy and chatting
Your friend finally came to check on you when they realized you hadnât responded to a check in text, and found you fast asleep on the porch, side by side with Chuuya in matching camp chairs

Inside a Horror Game (Part 2)
Requested By: @deludedprime
Word Count: 6,644
Warnings: Asmo's is suggestive.
Part 1 - Part 3
"No, I'm not."
The words echoed in their heads like some kind of sick joke. They all did their best to process it; but, they couldnât. They couldnât understand what had happened to turn their precious human into the menacing being standing in front of them now.
âIâm glad you figured it out. The innocent act was getting a bit old,â you continued with a small chuckle. Your facade was crumbling, taking the image of their Y/N with it.Â
âWhere the hell are they?!â Mammon asked, taking a few steps forward. He snapped. Someone took his human and he was not having it. âTheyâre in here with me - begging me to let them go. To not hurt you,â you replied.
You watched as anger quickly overtook their features. Their fists clenched as they stared at your image with hatred. Were you in pain? What did this being do to you to overtake your body like this?Â
âOh, have I struck a nerve?â you asked, the smile never leaving your face. You were relishing in the pain they were in. âLet them go,â Lucifer demanded. It was something they were all thinking, he was just quicker at voicing it.
âYou sound concerned now, but I wonder how long itâll be before you turn on them. Itâs just a matter of time. Angels, demons, and humans werenât meant to co-exist. Soon, youâll find the urge to kill them stronger than any urge you have to protect them,â you replied.
âThat would never happen,â Satan stated, his words filled with venom. His voice was unwavering. He meant it. As did every other person in that room. âLet's see what happens when youâre tested,â you replied.Â
In a swift motion, walls started forming around the group. They let out small shouts of surprise as the ground rumbled and shook. They all did their best to keep their footing as you used the walls to separate them into different rooms. Inescapable rooms.
"Now, the fun begins."
Lucifer opened his eyes as soon as his surroundings stopped moving. However, when he did, he found himself in the Demon Lordâs Castle. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as he looked around the room. He was in the Great Hall and it was filled with lower-level demons.
As he walked past them, he noticed they were all staring at him. Suddenly self-conscious of his appearance, Lucifer took a look at his clothes and noticed he was dressed in fancy attire, every detail in its proper place.
He continued to walk through the crowd. He wasnât sure where he was going. It was as if his body had a mind of its own. He came to a clearing in the crowd and stopped in his tracks, his heart skipping a beat at the sight.
Diavolo stood there, a large smile on his face when he saw Lucifer. You stood next to Diavolo, smiling just as brightly. âThereâs our guest of honor,â Diavolo said in a cheery tone, before motioning for Lucifer to come join him.
Lucifer did as he was asked, standing in between you and Diavolo. You smiled at him with a genuine smile, gently taking his hand in yours.
He looked over at you, his dark eyes connecting with your loving ones. âWhat is this?â he asked you, barely above a whisper.
âIsnât it obvious?â you asked him. Lucifer tried to remain stoic as he shook his head no. You leaned in closer, your other hand resting on his upper arm. âWeâre here to celebrate you Lucifer,â you replied.
âMore so, everything youâve done for all of us,â Diavolo chimed in. Lucifer turned to face him and Diavolo said, âIâm giving you the official title of second-in-command. After everything weâve been through together, no one deserves this title more than you.â
You leaned up and pressed a kiss to his cheek, causing a small blush. This is everything heâs ever wanted. He was being recognized - respected - by the entire Devildom. Not only that, but he had you by his side the entire time.
âOh please.â
Luciferâs attention snapped to Mephistopheles who had suddenly appeared in front of him. âAs if you would be the second-in-command. If anyone deserves that title, itâs me,â Mephisto stated smugly, adjusting his attire.
âIs that jealousy I hear Mephisto?â Lucifer asked, a small smirk resting on his lips. âItâs reality, Lucifer. Youâre in a dream and you need to wake up,â Mephisto stated. âA dream?â Lucifer asked.Â
In the same amount of time it took Lucifer to blink, his surroundings changed. You and him were standing on the balcony of the Demon Lordâs castle, overlooking the Devildom. Your hand was still interlaced with his.
You turned to face him and he watched as the lights of the Devildom reflected on you, creating a somewhat technicolor appearance. He wondered how you always effortlessly looked so stunning.
âDo you know why Diavolo chose you as the second-in-command?â you asked. Lucifer stayed silent. He wished he knew the answer, but he couldnât come up with one. Itâs true heâs stayed loyal to Diavolo and that he and his brothers served an integral part in both the development of RAD and in running it.
But, he still had more to prove before he believed he deserved the title of second-in-command. Lucifer was zoned out in his thoughts until your voice brought him back. âItâs because Diavolo respects you,â you stated, finally answering your own question.
You gently brought your hand up to his cheek in an intimate gesture. âEveryone respects you, Lucifer,â you added. Lucifer took in a deep breath and you smiled when his eyes flickered blue for a moment.
âLucifer. You need to wake up. We donât have time for this!â
It was like a slap in the face as Lucifer suddenly remembered before. Lucifer looked at you. He was so sure that you were standing there next to him. He could see you, he could feel you. He felt the contact when your lips met his cheeks earlier and he felt the warmth of your hand as it touched him.
But, suddenly, the more he looked at you, the more images of someone else flashed in his mind. Images of someone who liked you, but wasnât you. Lucifer closed his eyes, using all of his strength to gather his bearings.
This isnât real.
Your once beautiful and supportive image turned into one of malice as you moved to attack Lucifer. He let out a small gasp before swiftly dodging the attack. His eyes were wide as you were mere inches away from him.
He stared at you as you pouted at him. âAwe, youâre no fun,â you stated, suddenly disappearing into thin air.
Lucifer let out a small breath of relief at your disappearance. âSo, thatâs how we beat them,â Mephisto stated and Lucifer turned to face him. âAll we have to do is find a way to resist them before they attack,â Mephisto finished explaining.
Lucifer nodded his head, silently agreeing with him. But worry soon began to fill him as he thought about the fact that you were going after everyone else, and he wouldnât be there to protect them.
He wondered who you were going after next and he hoped that whoever it was would be strong enough to resist your temptation.
Mammon woke up in his version of Heaven.
He was in the middle of a casino, a pile of his winnings in front of him. Other demons surrounded him, recognizing his greatness. You were at his side, pressed against him as you cheered him on.Â
âThatâs another win for the Great Mammon!â the dealer announced and he couldnât help the smile that spread across his face. You wrapped your arms around his torso, a happy laugh escaping your lips and he wrapped his around you in return, pulling you closer.
Your laugh was addictive, and Mammon could spend every minute of his life listening to it. And since the current thing making you laugh was Mammonâs win streak, he was determined to never let it end. He would play until his hands fell off if thatâs what it took to make you always laugh like that.
Mammon grabbed the dice in his hands and took a deep breath. He began to shake them in his hands when a strange presence suddenly made him hesitate. He looked up from the table and saw someone who looked very familiar standing in front of him. He was across the casino, too far to completely make out. But, he swore he saw him.Â
âWas that Barbatos?â Mammon asked. âHmm?â you questioned, your eyes demanding his attention again. Mammon shook his head. âNothing,â he replied, refocusing on what was presently happening.
âCome on, letâs try that table,â you suggested. Greed overtook him at the prospect of winning even more and he let you lead him over to a different table. Mammon tried multiple rounds and won every single round. He had never had such good luck in his life. âYaâ must be my lucky charm,â Mammon told you, keeping you close. He could smell the fragrance you were wearing, and it helped ground him. It helped him remember who he was winning for.
He couldnât remember a time he felt so happy - so loved. For once, everyone around him regarded him in a high respect. No one made him feel inferior or like he was nothing more than scum. And he had you all to himself, with none of his brothers there to take you away from him.
"Wake up, Mammon."
The voice echoed through Mammonâs mind and his eyes snapped up to see Barbatos yet again. âHey, do yaâ see that?â Mammon asked, barely above a whisper. âI donât see anything,â you replied before looking at Mammon, he was still staring at the same spot, but there was nothing there now.
âHey, Mammon, why donât we call it a night?â you asked him, taking his hands in yours. Mammon slowly agreed, nodding his head before letting you lead him out of the casino.
Mammon felt the sharpness of the cold breeze and he remembered being outside, but the next thing he knew he was in his bedroom. Did he black out? Had he even had anything to drink that night?
He was sitting down on his bed, still wearing the same clothes he had on at the casino. âYouâve had a long night,â you told Mammon, gently helping him take off his jacket. He couldnât shake the feeling that something was off.
You noticed his disoriented state and gently ran your fingers through his hair before placing your lips on his. Mammon leaned into the kiss, his heart racing at the contact. Mammonâs eyes flickered gold as he pulled you into a deeper kiss. He could kiss you a million times and it would never be enough.
âThis isnât real!â
Mammonâs eyes quickly opened as he gently pushed you away. This time he fully saw him standing there. âBarbatos?â Mammon questioned. âMammon, that isnât Y/N,â Barbatos stated. Mammon looked back at you as memories started flooding his mind about where he had previously been and everything that happened within the video game.
Mammon jumped to his feet as his dream world began crumbling around him. Barbatos stood next to him and you stood in front of him. He was devastated to find out his dream world was fake and the nightmare he had been in was a reality.
âWouldnât this have been enough for you?â you asked him, your head turning to the side. You looked genuinely sad. âIt wouldaâ beenâŚbut Y/N wasnât real,â he replied.
Within moments, you disappeared, leaving Mammon with Barbatos. It made sense why he was there. He was the opposite of Mammon. As a butler, he gave every part of his being to serve Lord Diavolo and ensure the satisfaction of everyone else. Mammon was the opposite. He wasnât a giver, he was a taker.Â
Mammon collapsed down to the ground when you left. He couldnât help but feel guilty. He told you he would protect you and he let some evil force overtake your body. He didnât notice the signs early enough. Maybe he could have prevented this from happening.
No. Way.
Levi couldnât believe what he was seeing. Had he died and gone to the Celestial Realm? Levi excitedly looked around the large store he was in. It had everything an otaku would ever need.Â
Manga lined one wall, completely covering it. Every single manga ever written had to be on that wall. Levi looked over the titles, getting excited whenever he recognized one. Another wall was filled with video games. The number of them nearly matched the mangas; and nearby was a computer where you could order any game they didnât have.
In the opposite corner of the room, a living room was set up. There was a large couch there with an impressive gaming setup. The lighting was dim for games, but there was a lamp that he could turn on if he wanted to read instead.
And next to that was a snack center that had any food or drink he could desire. Surely this had been an invention of his imagination. A place so perfect couldnât exist right?!
But, even if it was an otakuâs dream world, it still had something pretty important to him that was missing.
âLevi,â you called out and he immediately turned in your direction. His eyes widened when he saw you. You were cosplaying as one of his all-time favorite anime characters, the outfit accentuating all of your features flawlessly.
âDo you like it?â you asked him, taking a couple of strides closer to him. Levi immediately blushed at your question, his eyes refusing to look away. Every time he tried, he couldnât help but take another look. âY-You look great!â he stuttered out. You caught him completely by surprise.
You smiled at his shy behavior and took his hand in yours. âI have a new game for us to play,â you told him with excitement as you led him over to the couch, turning on the TV. Levi paused at your words. Hadnât you guys just started a new game recently?
Maybe he was misremembering.
You handed Levi the controller and sat down next to him on the couch, your leg brushing against his as you got comfortable. âReady?â you asked him. Levi nodded his head as he shifted positions a bit.
âWhatâs so great about sitting on a couch?â
Who the heck?! Levi immediately looked around the store. Who was there? He couldnât find anyone, but he swore he heard someone talk to him just now. âHey,â you said, placing your hand over his.Â
Levi turned back around to look at you. âSorry, I thought I heard something,â Levi replied. You rubbed his arm in a comforting way before turning your attention back to the game and pushing play.
You and Levi were on a team together, but your character had died. So you sat there, nervously watching Levi as he took on the boss. You watched as Levi swung one more time, defeating it with the move. You let out an excited shout as you threw your arms around Levi, placing kisses on his cheek. âThat was amazing!â
Levi was completely flustered at your acts of love and words. He was frozen in place, scared to move and lose your touch. Had you always been this affectionate toward him when he was gaming?
âIt wasnât that impressive.â
Okay, who was talking? Levi once again looked around the store. âYou didnât hear that?â Levi asked, looking in every corner. Was someone hiding in there? âNo, Iâm sorry,â you replied. Levi turned to face you once again, but when he did, he realized the two of you were somewhere different.
You were standing with Levi in a tunnel made of glass as water and sea creatures surrounded you. How did the two of you get to the aquarium? And, more importantly, how did you know heâs always wanted to take you to one?
You interlaced your fingers with his, wrapping your other hand around his upper arm. Levi tensed up at first but relaxed into your touch. You looked up at him lovingly, and he felt himself getting entranced by your gaze.
âLevi, would you stay here with me if I asked you to? Where no one else could get to me and take me away from you?â you asked him, your eyes genuine. Levi was surprised by your question but his eyes flashed orange nonetheless. He couldnât imagine anyone else being here with you, loving you the way he loved you. He wouldnât stand for it.
BANG
Levi let out a shocked shout as the sound of an explosion rang in his ears. He opened his eyes and noticed you were still standing in front of him, but this time in a stone room. He looked over to his right and saw Thirteen standing there, a used trap in her hand. She made the explosion.
âI didnât know how else to wake you up,â Thirteen stated nonchalantly. Wake him up? Levi looked at you and understood what she meant. Of course, none of it was real. Thereâs no way an otaku shut-in would have actually won you over. The two of you had started a new game together and he wanted to stop playing.Â
He didnât care about the game anymore. He would play mundane games for the rest of his life if it kept you safe. He just wanted to get you out of the clutches of whatever being decided to possess you.
âSometimes games are better than reality,â you told Levi with a small smile. He watched as you left into thin air. He needed to get out of here. He might not have been a huge fan of Thirteenâs traps, but he would use whatever she had if it helped him escape.
Satan let out a small groan as his eyes fluttered open. He surveyed his surroundings, noticing he was in a large library. His eyes scanned over the multitude of books that were before him.
âSatan!â you practically squealed, running up to the blonde-haired demon. He was a bit taken aback when you leaped towards him, wrapping your arms around his neck. His arms naturally wrapped around your waist, bringing you closer.
Your scent and touch overtook all of his senses as he embraced you. His heart skipped a couple of beats and you noticed the small blush that coated his cheeks. He let you go after a moment and you smiled at him, telling him, âIâve been waiting for you.â
âIâm sorry,â he replied, he promised himself heâd never take so long to come to you again. âCome on, I picked out the perfect book for us to read tonight,â you told him, overwhelming him with your optimism.
You interlaced your fingers with his as you led him over to the couch in the library. You had him sit down as you grabbed the book you wanted to read. You handed it to Satan and then sat down next to him. Your body was pressed against him as you stretched your legs across his lap.
He wrapped one of his arms around you as the other one held the book. He took a moment to appreciate the closeness of the two of you and then opened it. He took a breath to read but stopped when you turned to look at him.
âArenât you forgetting something?â you asked. Satan wracked his brain as he tried to figure out what you meant. Suddenly, a white and brown cat jumped onto both of your laps. Satan let out a startled gasp as he looked at the cat with astonishment.Â
You gently pet the cat and he watched as it purred before curling up into a ball, lying on top of both of you. Satan stroked the catâs fur and you smiled at him. You leaned up just a little bit and pressed a soft and quick kiss to Satanâs lips.
âNow weâre ready,â you told him. Satan looked at you lovingly and tenderly as his arm tightened around you. He never wanted to let you go. Satan began reading the book, feeling truly content.
âSatan, stop.â
Satan stopped speaking as his eyes read the word. He blinked a few times and the words were gone. Had he imagined that?
Satan took a breath to compose himself before continuing to read. He read with inflection, taking great care in the portrayal of the story in your mind. He wanted you to enjoy the book as thoroughly as he was enjoying this moment.
âThis isnât right. You know that.â
Satan froze again. He squinted his eyes at the pages, watching the words slowly vanish. What was going on? Satan cleared the thoughts out of his mind. Whatever was happening, he didnât want it to end his time with you.
He pressed a kiss to your forehead, closing his eyes as he memorized how this felt. He did everything he could to reassure himself that you were real.
âSatan!â
Satanâs eyes snapped open. There it was again. But his eyes were closed that time, which meant that he actually heard it that time. Suddenly, Simeon burst through the door of the library.
âSatan, finally! Iâve been trying to reach you,â Simeon stated. Satan stood up, feeling his rage begin to build. âSimeon, you interrupted a very nice moment,â Satan said, his voice dripping venom as his eyes began to glow green.
âSatan, itâs not real,â Simeon told him. Satan furrowed his eyebrows and Simeon continued, âYouâre smarter than this. Donât let them fool you.â Satanâs attention turned toward you as he began to remember.
None of this was real.
Satan closed his eyes once more to force himself back into reality. This time when he opened them, he stood in a plain, stone room. You stood in front of him. Well, the fake you did anyway. Simeon was right.
âIt could have been perfect,â you told him, vanishing from the scene. Satan did his best to forget about the imaginary world. âWeâll get them back,â Simeon told Satan. He looked up at the angel with curiosity.
He wondered what it must be like to always be so happy and optimistic. Satan certainly wasnât like that. He opted for the broody and moody personality. The only thing that ever really made him happy wasâŚ
Satan stopped himself from going down that path. He was going to get you back no matter what it took.
Asmo gasped as soon as the environment he was in became clear. He was standing in the middle of an unusually large boutique. He was surrounded by make-up, shoes, clothes, and other miscellaneous beauty products. Asmo could tell by the look of them that they were all made from his favorite brands.
A few feet in front of him there was a catwalk and above that, brilliant lights shone down on it. Asmo could hear music playing in the backgroundâŚwas that his favorite song?
âWhich outfit do you want to try on first?â your voice suddenly rang out. You came into Asmoâs view, stepping out from behind a rack of clothes, a warm smile on your face. Asmo immediately smiled when he saw you. Whenever you were around everything seemed so much brighter.
âWhat is all this?â Asmo asked, walking closer to you. âIsnât it obvious? Itâs our own private fashion show!â you replied with a small laugh. âSo?â you questioned, taking his hand in yours. âWhich outfit do you want to try on first?â
Asmo immediately perked up at the idea and pulled you over to the racks of clothes. You turned the music up a bit. You had to have good music or it wasnât a good fashion montage.
You laughed as you stood in front of Asmo, helping him do his make-up. His hands rested above your hips, bringing you closer so you were pressed against him. Asmo wasnât necessarily trying to be cheeky with it. He just loved the feeling of your touch.
âSo this is what your dream world would be?â
Asmo's eyes widened as he heard a voice. He knew that voiceâŚbut whose was it? His mind felt cloudy. He couldnât quite place who he had heard. But, he looked around the boutique and didnât find anyone there.
âOkay, and done! Time for the runway!â you told Asmo with an excited smile. Asmo returned the smile as the two of you took to the catwalk. You took pictures of Asmo and he did the same for you when you walked, capturing each otherâs best poses.
âAnd one of both of us for our fans!â you said, coming up behind Asmo and snapping a quick and cute picture. Asmo was surprised but still came out looking fantastic. Something ran through his mind though.
âOur fans?â Asmo questioned. âYeah, you know the fans of our coupleâs account,â you replied, raising an eyebrow. âHow can you not remember? It was your idea!â you added. Suddenly afraid heâd offended you, Asmo quickly defended himself.
âNo, itâs not that! I remember. Do you mind showing me the account though? I canât remember which pictures we uploaded to it,â Asmo stated, giving you a sweet smile. âSure, but itâs mostly just photos of us,â you replied, leaning into him as you showed him your phone, scrolling through the pictures.
Asmoâs eyes widened as you showed him the pictures. Some were silly, some were professional, and some were even a bit risque. But his favorite ones were the happy ones. Ones where you would be on a date looking at each other with such adoration. Pictures of the two of you holding hands, the love radiating through the photo. And, some where he knew someone was taking a picture, and he wrapped his arms around you, holding you close as you both smiled for the camera. The smiles werenât contrived though, they were images of the two of you laughing in bliss. Asmoâs taken many pictures in his life, but heâs never seen himself look so happy.
âAsmo, if your dream is to make a couples account with Y/N, then you can do that in the real world. But, you need to wake up!â
Asmo closed his eyes to regain his composure and when he opened them again, he was in his bedroom. Asmoâs eyebrows furrowed in confusion. How did he get there? He didnât remember leaving the boutique.
You suddenly came out of the bathroom and all other thoughts left his mind. You were wearing the pajamas he got for you, looking as attractive as ever. Asmoâs eyes sparked pink and he followed your movements as you made your way to the bed, smiling when you caught him staring.
âWhat?â you asked him, sitting close to him on the bed. You were mere inches away from him and his eyes began to glow deeper. He looked down to avoid your gaze as he tried to remain in control. âAsmo? Are you okay?â you asked, gently rubbing his arm. The contact caused Asmo to jump a bit as he looked up at you.Â
As you saw the pink in his eyes, you realized what was happening. âOhâŚwould a kiss help?â you asked Asmo. His heart rate became unsteady at your words and nearly stopped when you pressed your lips to his.Â
He felt like he was going to lose control as the feelings of your lips against his became engraved in his mind. He would never forget the way they feel. You gently ran your fingers through his hair and he shuddered at the feeling, pulling you in for a deeper kiss.
âAsmo.â
He heard it this time, clear as day. Asmo reluctantly pulled away from you to look at the figure who was standing in the room. Asmo frowned a bit as he looked at the familiar appearance of white hair and grey eyes.
âNow is not a good time, Solomon,â Asmo stated in a somewhat irritated voice. Asmo tightened his grip on you to further accentuate his point. Solomon looked sad. Heâd known Asmo for a long time, and he could tell how much Asmo wanted this to be real.
âTheir not really here, Asmo,â Solomon stated. Asmo looked at Solomon confused before meeting your gaze. Memories began to flash through his mind as he recalled the past few hours.
When he focused his gaze on you once again, you let out a small sigh. âI was really looking forward to seeing where that went,â you stated, taking your leave in a flash.Â
Asmo was heartbroken that it wasnât real. He finally had someone who loved everything about him. He was finally happy. But none of it was real.Â
âIt can happen in real life. We just have to get them back,â Solomon stated. Asmo nodded, agreeing with Solomon. He had gotten a taste of what happiness looked like and he wasnât going to give it up without a fight - no matter how dirty he might get.
Beel woke up when his stomach let out a loud growl. He let out a small groan, the starvation pains feeling like his stomach was tearing itself open. How long had he been this hungry? This wasnât good. If he didnât find food soon, he would go on an unstoppable rampage.
Things felt a bit fuzzy as he looked around. It must be from the hunger. Beel recognized that he was in the House of Lamentation, and took a couple of steps towards the kitchen. But, he stopped dead in his tracks when the smell of something wonderful filled his senses.
Beel followed the scent to the dining room and saw you standing there, setting a plate of Devil Zebra steaks on the dining room table. Except, it wasnât the dining room table he knew.Â
The room was smaller with dim lighting. The table was smaller, fitting only two chairs instead of the normal ten. Candles decorated the area, creating an intimate setting. Beel could see the countless other plates that you made, knowing his hunger was insatiable.
He felt joy swell inside of him as he quickly rushed to you, hugging you from behind. âThank you,â he muttered, his cheek pressed against your back as his arms wrapped tightly around your waist.
âThere you are! I was getting worried,â you told him, leaning into his touch and placing your arms over his to hug him back. Beelâs stomach suddenly made a large growl and a giggle escaped your lips.
âCome on, letâs eat,â you told him. Beel nodded his head and turned to move toward the table when a familiar voice stopped him.
âDonât do it!â
Beel looked around the room for the source of the sound but didnât see anyone. He assumed he was just hearing things, but even if he wasnât - nothing could stop him from eating right now.
The two of you fell into a comfortable conversation full of stories and laughter as you both ate. Beel could feel your legs brush against his under the table every so often, and when they did, he couldnât help the blush he got at the feeling.
When all of the food was gone, you gave Beel a small smile before asking, âDo you want to help me make dessert?â Beelâs eyes flickered red as he thought about eating more food. He quickly agreed and allowed you to take him to the kitchen.Â
As he was passing through the threshold, he heard the same voice again.Â
"I know you're a demon, but can't you resist a little?"
Beelâs mind was quickly directed to you as you pulled out the pans you would need to cook the dessert. You let Beel choose the recipe and the two of you worked diligently at creating the perfect treat.
Once all of the ingredients were properly mixed, you placed it in the oven. You let out a small gasp as Beel effortlessly lifted you onto the counter. âWhat are you doing?â you asked in between laughs.Â
You gently brushed off some flour that had gotten on his cheeks. His cheeks were stained pink at the tenderness of your touch and you only made it worse when you placed a kiss where the flour used to be.
Beel carefully pulled you to the edge of the counter before placing his lips on yours. He just wanted to love and cherish you every moment of every day.
âThe real Y/N needs you!â
Beel suddenly pulled away from you. That voice - he was sure of it now. It was Lukeâs. But why couldnât he see him? And what did he mean by the real Y/N? You could see the worry in Beelâs eyes as he began putting the puzzle pieces together.
He backed away from the counter, and his settings slowly began to change back into the mundane look of the labyrinth he had been in only minutes before. Beel looked like a sad puppy as he realized the fantasy you created in his mind was justâŚwell, that. An imaginary world.
You looked into his eyes that were full of betrayal and vanished once again, leaving him with the words, âIt could have been real.â
As your body disappeared, Lukeâs took form in its place. He could finally see him; and, now he wished he couldnât. It could have been real.
No. It would be. He would make it real as soon as he found a way out of here. Heâll make sure to protect you and never let anything like this happen again.
âBelphie, wake up,â your soft voice called out to him. Belphie stirred a bit but didnât open his eyes. Whatever he was lying on was comfortable. He wasnât sure if he was ready to give that up yet.
He felt you press your lips to his nose and his eyes fluttered open. Your face was only a couple of inches away from him, and he blushed lightly as he raised his head. He realized that the thing he was lying on had been your shoulder.
âYou were going to miss the meteor shower,â you told him with a small smile. Belphie furrowed his eyebrows slightly and then realized the two of you were sitting in the planetarium. The stars of the devildom stretched out before the two of you. It was amazing how numerous they were and how easy it was to see them.Â
âItâs a good thing you woke me up then,â Belphie told you, a small smile forming on his lips. You nodded your head before replying, âI promised I wouldnât let you sleep through them this time.â
âThis time?â Belphie asked. Had the two of you watched a meteor shower together before? Did he really fall asleep and miss it? He couldnât imagine missing a date with you.
âYou donât remember?â you asked curiously. Belphie shook his head no and you said, âWell, whatâs important is that youâre here with me right now and awake.â
âBelphie.â
Belphieâs eyes widened in a slight panic. He would know that voice anywhere. He immediately scanned the area and his heart nearly stopped when he saw a silhouette of red. But, in an instant, it was gone.
âItâs starting!â you said excitedly, pointing up towards the sky. Belphie placed his arm around you and you leaned against him as the two of you watched the meteors begin to fall in the sky. It was a beautiful sight.
Belphieâs eyes trailed from the phenomenon in the sky to your features, taking each and every one of them in. Thereâs no one else heâd rather spend his time with. You were perfect to him in every way.
âYouâre not paying attention to the meteors,â you stated, your eyes glued to the sky as your cheeks began to turn red. Belphie smirked at your remark, knowing he had been caught, but not caring. âSomething better caught my eye,â Belphie replied.
You smiled at his words and finally turned to face him, and when you did, he leaned in. His lips crashed with yours as he attempted to convey every ounce of his love for you. His hand gently cupped your cheek, pulling you in closer.Â
âBelphegor.â
Belphie physically jumped this time. His mind started to feel jumbled. âGo away, Diavolo,â Belphie muttered. He didnât know why he was there, but Belphie was not going to let him of all people interrupt this moment.
âDid you say something?â you asked Belphie, your eyebrows knitting together as you looked at him concerned. He shook his head no before replying, âEverything is fine.â But everything was not fine, and he closed his eyes to try and push the Demon King out of his mind and only focus on you.
He opened his eyes when he felt a plush mattress sink from his weight. You and him were lying in the bed in the attic, facing each other. When did the two of you get here? Did you ask to go to bed?
You gently reached out and ran your fingers through Belphieâs hair. He melted into your touch, bringing his body closer to yours in the bed. He rested his forehead against yours, basking in your touch.
âI wish we could be like this forever, Belphie,â you told him and his heart skipped a beat. He wanted nothing more. He would love to lay in bed with you, endlessly loving you in every way you let him.Â
âMaybe we could. If we just stayed asleep, nothing would ever have to change,â you told him sincerely, gently moving your hand from his hair to his cheek. You looked deeply into his eyes which were now shining a royal purple that was intensifying the more he thought about it.
âAll you have to do is go to sleep. Iâll be right here with you,â you stated. It was so tempting. To always remember the feeling of your touch. To always feel the warmth of your body next to him. To never have to lose you.
You let out a small gasp as a strong hand gripped your wrist. Belphieâs eyes snapped open, nearly avoiding slumber as he became hyper-aware of everything around him. He turned in the bed and looked at Diavolo.Â
âWhat are you doing here?â Belphie asked. Anger and disappointment beginning to build. âYou need to get up this instance,â Diavolo stated, letting go of your wrist. You sat up in the bed and Belphegor looked between the two of you.
âThatâs not Y/N. Five more seconds and she would have killed you,â Diavolo explained, defending his actions. ButâŚthatâs not possible. You were there with Belphie. You had to have been.Â
He took in a deep breath as he looked at you. Your sham appearance deteriorating before his eyes. You smirked at the Avatar of Sloth before stating, âAlmost had you.â It felt like a knife to the heart.
None of it was real.
âWhen we find a way out of here, we will defeat you and get our Y/N back,â Diavolo promised, anger raging like a fire in his eyes.Â
âGood luck,â you replied, sending him a smile before disappearing for good. Diavolo couldnât help but feel sympathy for Belphie. He had suffered through so much in his life and this dream was something good. He could see how upset Belphie was for losing what made him the happiest.
Belphie took in a deep breath, not allowing the tricks to get the better of him. Diavolo was right. They were all going to find a way to get you back. He would never stop until they succeeded.
A/N: Well, this is going to end up being 3 parts. I'm hoping to get it out soon!

Wild and Untamed Things Pt. 2
A few months have gone by since that fateful night you and the boys had gone to see Rocky Horror, and your relationship is going stronger than you'd ever imagined. The three of you decided to rent an apartment together, making it easy to keep your arrangement more of a secret from an unforgiving town. You haven't really told anyone about it, you know most people wouldn't understand. Robin knows, and has been sworn to never speak a word about it.
You're cuddled up on the couch with Eddie and Steve. They're sitting beside each other, with you spread across their laps. Your head rests on Eddie's chest, and Steve massages your feet. Steve brought home some new releases from Family Video, eager to watch them with you and Eddie. You're currently spacing out while Beetlejuice plays on the TV, letting Eddie's fingers stroke you innocently. You're lost in thought, unable to focus on the film as dirty images of you and the boys swirl around your head. They seem to catch on to your daydreaming, their eyes burning into you after a while. "Are you bored, Y/N?" Eddie asks in your ear, sending a chill through you. The tone in his voice makes you gasp, and your cheeks flare up in shock.
"Hmm, that's a shame. I picked this movie out just for you, babygirl." Steve chimes in, licking his lips as he looks over your figure.
"Sorry, I'm just a little...distracted." Your eyes flick between them, hoping they pick up what you're putting down. As always, they immediately do.
"Is that so? And what exactly would you like us to do about it?" Eddie retorts, teasing your obvious wanting.
"I dunno, whatever you want." You're feeling extremely flustered at the moment, having the two loves of your life staring you down is highly intimidating. You bite your lip, hoping you've given a satisfactory answer.
"Ooh, 'whatever we want' she says. That's a very dangerous offer, isn't it, Stevie?" Eddie chuckles darkly, moving to take your earlobe between his teeth. Your eyes flutter closed, wetness beginning to gather between your legs. You instinctively rub your thighs together, that all-too-familiar pressure rising inside you. You can also feel Eddie's cock stiffening below you, which only serves to turn you on even more.
"It sure is, Eds. I'm not so sure she can handle it, though." Steve knows you'll do anything to prove just how 'up for it' you are, especially out of spite. Your eyes snap open, glaring in his direction.
"Oh, please. You're all talk." You cross your arms, your bratty side taking over. They just share a laugh at your words, which makes you nervous. You swallow hard, your heart pounding in your chest.
"I suppose you're right, dollface. Actions speak louder than words." Eddie smirks, maintaining eye contact with you as his hand runs down your front to the waistband of your jeans. He undoes the button, sliding the zipper down wordlessly. You're practically panting, watching helplessly as he slips his hand inside your pants. He rubs your pussy through your underwear, feeling just how wet you are already. You moan at the contact, gripping Eddie's shoulder with your hand. The sound makes their dicks twitch, they can't get enough of your sexy noises. "Mmm, soaked for us already. Such a naughty girl. Have you been thinking filthy thoughts again?" You just nod at him, but he ceases his movements on you. "Use your words, slut." His tone becomes stern, almost startling you.
"Yes, Eddie. I think about the two of you all the time." You almost whine, desperate for them to touch you some more. Eddie strokes you again, only this time he goes into your panties. "Fuck." You whine again, sensing the room quickly heating up.
"Lay back, sweetheart." He coos, and you happily obey him. Steve watches intently as Eddie pulls your jeans and panties down your legs, discarding them to the floor. You lift your shirt up over your head, tossing it away as well. You're fully exposed to them now, and they swear they've never seen a prettier sight. "You're so fuckin' gorgeous, angel. You want us to make you feel good?" You gaze between them again, these two beautiful men are so eager to please you. You always wonder how you got so lucky.
"Yes, please." The second the words leave your lips, Eddie begins massaging your tit with his hand. And Steve spreads your legs open a little, slowly dragging his hand up your thigh until he reaches your dripping cunt. His fingers teasingly touch your folds, feeling the wetness for himself. "Fuck, Steve." You moan, which spurs him on to slip two fingers into your needy hole. Eddie lifts your torso so he can latch his mouth onto one of your nipples, drawing more noises from you. Your arm goes around his shoulders to hang on, savoring every swirl of his tongue on your flesh. Steve pumps his fingers in and out of you at an agonizing pace, revving you up. "God, I love you two. I love everything you do to me."
"We love you too, baby. You're such a good girl for us." Steve replies, rewarding your confession by fingering you faster. A roaring fire has ignited inside you, spreading through your core, radiating to your limbs. You pull Eddie's head away from your breast, smashing your lips onto his aggressively. He bites your lip, and your mouth falls open to invite his tongue to tangle with yours. The two of you moan into the kiss, and Eddie's jeans are extremely tight from his erection. Steve looks at the two of you, hardening inside his own pants as you continue making out. Your moans are trapped in Eddie's throat, overwhelming sensation consistently rushes through you.
You break away to breathe, laying back down as Steve turns Eddie's face with his finger to have a kiss of his own. Your chest rises and falls rapidly while you watch them, their groans pushing you further to the edge. They're so fucking pretty, you'll never get enough of the display before you. Eddie tangles his hands into Steve's hair, not wanting to let go for a single second. You can feel their dicks poking into your back and ass, you want them inside you so badly. But you know better than to expect it so early on. They're just getting started with you, and each other. Steve's hand continues to please you, squelching noises from your wet cunt mingling with everyone's moans. "Fuck." You mutter, the tell-tale waves of pleasure washing over you, gradually getting stronger as Steve brushes against your g spot over and over.
Steve senses your oncoming orgasm, grunting slightly as he puts his free hand on Eddie's chest. Their lips part ways, shuddering breaths flowing out as they do. Their gaze meets yours, wide grins spread on their faces. "Are you gonna cum, darling? I can feel your pussy clenching my fingers." Steve teases, using his thumb to rub your clit in circles to drive you further towards the edge. The waves are crashing even harder into you, and your body is slicked over with sweat. You're so close it's almost unbearable.
"Yes, I'm so close. Please don't stop, make me cum. It feels so fucking good." You plead at the both of them, although Eddie's only stroking your cheek at this point. Your walls are fluttering, you're as close to the edge as you can possibly be. You moan and curse and call their names, and all they can do is drink it all in. It takes everything in them to not cream their jeans, the sight of you coming undone is so beautifully vulgar.
"Hmm, maybe you should stop, Steve. To punish her for not paying attention during the movie." Eddie suggests, trying to get under your skin. You can't hide the fear in your eyes, watching Steve contemplate the idea.
"No, please!" You almost scream, begging for your release. They chuckle at how pitiful you are, body trembling and hair sticking to the perspiration on your face.
"It's okay, babygirl. I'm not as sadistic as Munson is. Cum for me, you've earned it." He coos at you, his husky tone sending you into pure bliss.
"Oh, fuck!" You cry out, your back arching as your legs begin to shake uncontrollably. You cum hard on Steve's hand, your juices spilling into his lap. The air is stolen from your lungs, and your eyes have rolled to the back of your head. The boys gently caress your body as your high runs its course, gradually bringing you back to reality.
"You did so well, Y/N. Such a good little slut." Steve says as he pulls his fingers out of you. You whine at the loss of him, your cunt pulsing around nothing. You observe closely as he brings his fingers to Eddie's lips, which immediately open to accept the taste of you. Eddie moans as he sucks them clean, savoring your sweet, musky flavor.
"God, that's so fucking hot." You blurt out, and they just look and laugh at you. Your cheeks flash bright red, and you sit up to be level with the two of them. All three of your faces are dangerously close to one another, bated breath fanning into each other's mouths. You lean forward to kiss Steve, and he happily meets you in the middle. He's quick to slip you the tongue, deepening the passionate kiss. Eddie lowers his head to mark your neck with dark hickeys, sucking the flesh between his teeth. You can't help being highly aware that your boyfriends still have all their clothes on, lowering your hands to tug at the hems of their shirts simultaneously. They get the message, pulling away from you for a moment to remove the offending garments.
Before you can catch your breath, Eddie captures your lips with his own. Steve attacks your chest, biting and licking all over your tits. Your hands play around on their bare torsos, letting the warmth from their flesh radiate through your fingers. You let your hands wander down their stomachs, migrating to their clothed erections. You palm them through their jeans, causing them to moan against you. You start undoing Steve's fly, still stroking Eddie as you work. You open the button, slowly pulling down the zipper. You let Steve be for a second, needing both hands to unbuckle Eddie's belt. Once both of their pants are open for you, you reach inside to fully feel their hard cocks in your grasp. They moan even louder, spurring you on. You begin to jerk them off, riling them up as much as you can before they inevitably devour you. "Shit, Y/N." Steve groans as he keeps kissing your chest.
"Stand up, sweetheart." Eddie says, pulling away from you. His eyes burn with lust, he's eagerly waiting for the opportunity to remove the rest of his clothes. You do as he asks, though Steve whines at the loss of contact. "Patience, loverboy." Eddie gives him a warning look, sending a chill down his spine. The two of them remove their pants and boxers, their dicks standing at attention as more clothing piles onto the floor. You glance between the two of them, taking in their beautiful naked bodies.
"So, how do you wanna do this?" You ask, the positions are truly endless between the three of you. Hell, quite a few times it'll be two of you doing things while the third masturbates as they watch. Your mind is foggy from your earlier orgasm, unable to decide what you want. All you know is that you want them, in every way they'll give themselves to you. There's thoughtful silence for a moment, before Steve pipes up.
"I have one." He says, smirking as he's confident you'll both be into it. Although, that's not exactly a rare achievement. "Eds, do you want head, or to fuck Y/N?" Steve looks at him nonchalantly, truly not minding which role Eddie would prefer.
"Hmmm...dealer's choice, big boy. It's your idea, so you pick." Eddie pokes his chest, teasing him.
Steve sighs, annoyed at Eddie's refusal to make a choice. "Alright, fine! I'll take the head! Goddammit, you couldn't make a decision to save your life. You know that?" You can't help giggling at his frustration, he's just so adorable when he gets flustered. He fixes you with a glare, and you abruptly shut yourself up. Steve takes on a more dominant role now, quick to order you into position. "Y/N, kneel in front of me." You drop to your knees, placing yourself between his legs. "Now, try to lay yourself on your stomach, ass in the air as much as you can." You obey, keeping eye contact as you rest your hands on his thighs, your mouth ready to take his needy cock. "Good girl." He nods as he praises you, stroking your cheek lovingly. His eyes flick to Eddie. "I think you can figure out where you're supposed to be. So get to it." He plants a firm kiss on Eddie's lips, gesturing for him to get on his own knees behind you.
"I love it when you boss me around, Harrington." Eddie quips, earning a hard smack on his ass from Steve as he stands up. "Jesus." He yelps, almost falling over.
"I don't want to hear another word out of that smart mouth of yours. Otherwise, you can just sit and watch Y/N blow me, got it?" Steve's brows have furrowed, clearly unamused by Eddie's antics today.
"Okay, sorry. Jeez." Eddie replies, putting his hands up defensively. He turns to position himself behind you, caressing your ass. You moan slightly, wanting to push yourself back into him. But Steve said to stay as you are, and you'd hate to disobey an order.
"Good boy." Steve praises Eddie, which makes him blush. His eyes flick back to you, smiling again. "Suck, Y/N." He says simply, and you happily oblige. You take all of him in your mouth, and he groans loudly. "Good girl, just like that." You're dripping again, arousal falling into a small puddle on the floor. You love giving the boys head, they always shower you with praise as you suck them off. "Now, Eddie. You can tease Y/N with your dick, but you can't fuck her until I say so. Understood?" He says through shallow breaths, already so wound up he's not sure how long he can last.
"I understand." Eddie replies, knowing just how torturous Steve's command will be for you and himself. Nonetheless, he grips his cock in his hand, using the other to hold steady on your back. He slides himself against your folds, causing you to moan on Steve. Eddie shudders at your wetness spreading on him, it's so warm, he almost can't resist plunging into you right now. But he knows Steve will punish him if he does so, he'll just have to grin and bear it.
"Good boy, Eds. Tell me how it feels, babe." Steve says, trying to hold himself back. It's a difficult feat, you're a goddess at giving head.
"It's so warm, I want to be inside Y/N's pussy so bad. It feels so good, but it's not enough." Eddie almost whines, causing Steve to laugh.
"Poor thing." He says sarcastically. Eddie's tempted to shoot him a death glare, but decides against it. Instead, he just strokes your folds a little faster, desperate for some friction.
Meanwhile, you're gagging yourself on Steve, swirling your tongue around his length as you bob your head up and down. Eddie's teasing is driving you insane, you just want him to fuck you already. A continuous hum of moans streams from you, sending vibrations through Steve. Eddie's making vulgar noises behind you, clearly distressed. You can feel Steve tensing up beneath you, signaling his oncoming release.
"You can fuck her now, Eddie. I'm gonna cum." Steve chokes out, gripping the top of the couch as his high overtakes him. "FUCK!" He shouts, emptying into your mouth, thick white ropes coating your throat. You swallow every last drop, letting his cock fall from your lips. Eddie shoves his length into you without warning, he thankfully waited until Steve finished so you didn't accidentally bite him from the surprise.
"Oh god!" You cry out, gripping Steve's thighs desperately as Eddie pounds ruthlessly into your cunt. His pace is quickly building you up, setting your insides ablaze yet again. Steve's gaze migrates between you and Eddie, taking in every face and sound you make.
"Fuck, you're so soaked for me, princess. So hot and tight around my cock." Eddie moans, gripping your hips roughly, his fingers will most certainly leave bruises from digging into your skin. He slams into your pussy as hard and fast as he can, brushing your g spot and hitting your cervix repeatedly. He's gone into feral mode at this point, driven to the brink of madness from all the teasing. You're not exactly complaining, you love getting absolutely railed by these men.
"Well, go on, slut. Tell Eddie how much you love getting fucked like the whore you are." Steve smirks, quickly becoming hard again from watching the two of you.
You look at Steve as you speak, trying to keep a steady voice despite wanting to moan. "You feel so good inside me, Eds. I love it when you fuck me like this. I'm so wet for you, you fill me up so well." It's difficult to piece words together, but it amplifies the pleasure all around, which makes it worth the effort. You're nearing the finish line again, you'd barely had time to recover from your first orgasm. Steve smiles at your words, and you return the grin as best you can before continuing. "Just like that, baby. Make me cum, I know you want to."
Eddie heeds your words, taking them as a challenge. He fucks you even faster, and brings a hand around to rub your clit in rapid circles. "Such a dirty little slut, begging me to make you cum." He says through gritted teeth into your ear, and you just moan loudly in response. He's deep in concentration, his thrusts beginning to go haywire as he nears his end. His eyes burn into Steve's, who just sits there smiling as the two of you put on this obscene show for him. Pleasure is slowly washing over you again, and you want to fall off the edge together.
"Fuck, Eddie, I'm so close. Don't stop, I want you to cum with me. I wanna feel you lose control." You may be toying with him a little, but you truly mean every filthy word you say. You hold on tighter to Steve's thighs, though the sweat coating your skin makes it difficult. You push yourself backwards to meet Eddie's thrusts, ripping more noises from your mouths.
"You're a very naughty girl, princess. So needy for my cock." He groans, his stomach tensing up as his orgasm quickly approaches. His hips rut against your ass, loud smacking mingling with your moans and curses. It takes everything in him to keep going at this ungodly pace, any second now he's going to explode. You slam yourself backwards into him harder than before, sealing both your fates. "Oh, god!" Eddie yells, bucking his hips uncontrollably as his dick empties into you. You feel his load paint your walls, and your own bliss overtakes you.
"Eddie!" You scream, nails digging into Steve's legs as white hot flames consume your body. Your mouth falls agape, eyes screwing shut. Eddie's still going, unable to stop himself as you clamp down on him. This only serves to prolong the pleasure, it's almost too much. "Oh my god!" You shout again, struggling to stay on your knees as your legs tremble. Fluid erupts from your pussy, splashing onto Eddie's thighs and the floor.
"Fuck, Y/N." Eddie mutters, the sensation of you soaking his cock makes his brain melt. Your head falls into Steve's lap, and you're almost gasping for air as you wait for the stars to leave your vision. Eddie stops moving, collapsing onto your back. He pants in your ear, and his chest sticks to you from all the sweat. "God, I love you." He says breathlessly, needing a good minute to recover before pulling out.
"I love you too, baby." You reply, swallowing hard.
"And I love you both." Steve chimes in, stroking the tops of your heads with his hands. You all stay like this for a few minutes, trying to steady your heartbeats. When he can finally stand up straight, Eddie slowly removes himself from your cunt. You both hiss at the feeling, very overstimulated. Your mixed release drips from your hole, joining the puddle you've made on the hardwood. "Looks like someone made a mess." Steve quips, lifting your face to look at him. You give him a weak smile, unable to move. Still holding your gaze, he speaks to the man standing behind you. "Eddie, baby? Be a dear and grab a towel to clean this up."
"Sure thing, King Steve." Eddie bows dramatically, smirking at his own antics. He leaves the room to retrieve the towel, and you finally decide to make an attempt at getting up. You grip Steve's knees, putting one foot down and then the other. You let your torso gradually fix itself upright, blinking away the spots in your vision. "You alright there, darling?" Eddie asks as he reenters the room.
"Yeah, I'm alright." You say in a strained voice, leaning with your hands on your lower back to stretch out. Your joints pop, and you go back to your original stance with a satisfied sigh. Eddie's kneeling on the floor again, wiping up your cum. You notice his ass is in perfect view, and you can't help staring while biting your lip. You sneak up behind him, lowering your hand to give him a hard smack.
"Jesus!" Eddie yelps, not expecting you to spank him. You don't touch the guys like that very often, though they don't mind it. They actually wish you did it more, the sting of your palm on their flesh turns them on immensely. "I suppose I should take all the spanking as a compliment. After all, I do have the best ass out of the three of us." He grumbles as he finishes his task, tossing the soiled towel onto the piled up clothes. They'll all be gathered for the wash later on anyway.
"No way, mine is far superior. Know why? Because I work out. Meanwhile, your ass is so flat, I could eat off of it." Steve remarks, you can never get enough of their silly bickering.
"Oh yeah? Then why don't you?" Eddie teases, abruptly getting up to shove his butt in Steve's face.
"Aw, man! Get off!" Steve protests, putting his hands up to shield himself. Eddie cackles, refusing to let up. You burst out laughing, Eddie's always been very playful, if not a bit childish.
"Not until you say my ass is better!" He taunts in a sing-song voice, he could keep this going all day. You try to stop laughing, walking over to pull Eddie away. But he stops you. "No helping, Y/N! He has to say it!" He wiggles his backside even more, upping the game.
"God, you're such a fucking child! Fine, you have the best ass! Now, get away before you fart in my face!" Eddie finally moves away, turning with his hands on his hips. He's very pleased with himself, smiling ear to ear.
"Hmmm, I think you're both wrong. My ass is clearly better than both of yours combined." You say matter-of-factly, and they just scoff at you.
"Yeah right!"
"No way!" Their words overlap, eyes rolling simultaneously. And you just chuckle at them.
"Observe." You say simply, turning your back to them, before bending over as far as you can to pick up some of the stray clothing from the floor. You move slowly, ensuring they'll stare intently as you move.
"Okay, you win." They groan in unison, happily conceding the title to you. You stand upright again, facing them.
"Good boys." They blush at your words, oddly mirroring each other as they stroke their necks awkwardly. "So, who's up for round two?"

iâll be there // Ch. 1
sam carpenter x fem!reader - masterlist
Samantha Carpenter struggles with her new life in NYC, not having much of a purpose other than to be the protector of her friends and family, and to attend therapy for feeling like an absolute psychopath and having the whole word view her as such. With all of her vices, will Sam be able to open her heart and let someone in?
wordcount: 2300
!! not proof-read, will edit. english isnt my first language haha
Sam had hoped moving to New York in an attempt to escape the trauma Woodsburo had brought, and so Tara and her friends could pursue their education would have lessened the constant paranoia and hateful looks she received, but if anything it only worsened.
News of the Woodsburo murders, and of Samantha Carpenterâs relations to the infamous Billy Loomis had spread all throughout the country, including stories of how the proclaimed âfinal girlâ was the reason for the murders in the first place, and how she must carry the evil spirit of her father. Despite the constant speculation and sick rumors, Sam didnât let any of it affect her.. atleast not publicly.
Afterall, the older Carpenter was preoccupied with keeping her younger sister, Tara safe, Something Tara personally hated. She understood Sams intentions, especially given the horrors they went through together back home, but all she wanted was freedom from all of this mess, and stubborn as ever, Tara would pull away from her sisters grasps whenever she could.
This once again led to Sam standing against the wall of some fraternity party swigging a bottle. Her eyes scanning the crowds of drunk college kids making sure Tara, aswell as her friends, Mindy, Chad, and Anika, werenât making any stupid decisions. Sheâs incredibly focused, and any normal person would see her scowl and defensive stance and make the smart decision to back away. Itâs what Sam expects, not opposed in the slightest as shes never been much of a social person. Thus, when she catches glimpse of a figure slip around her out of the corner of her eye, she startles, nearly dropping her drink.
Sam stands tall at around 5â9, so she barely notices when a shorter figure appears right beside her, looking up at her with a piercing gaze.
She looks down at the petite woman next to her. Normally, she wouldnt pay this person any mind, especially one this short and unthreatening looking, But she still stares, wondering how she even got there. she crosses her arms over her chest and takes a drink from her own bottle
âWatch where youre goingâ
Sam mutters, looking back up
The womanâs eyes narrow, but she masks a sly playful expression, contrasting sams gruff scowl.
âWhy assume i didnt mean to come over here?â
Sam assumes this is just another person who had seen her on the news, eyeing her up and down, trying not to roll her eyes. This girl couldnt be the killer, but considering her size she seems too small to do any real damage. Sam grumbles.
âWhy are you lookin at me?â
The other girl shrugs, leaning against the wall next to Sam and sipping on her own drink.
âDidnât know it was illegal to stare at people scowling in a corner at a frat partyâ
Sam rolls her eyes
âIts not, i just donât understand what you want from meâ
The other girl shrugs again, speaking in a nonchalant tone
âTo get to know you, you seem interestingâ
Frowning little and tilting her head, Sams curiosity is getting the better of her, but not to the point shes gonna go and trust this girl and spill her darkest secrets. Shes always on edge, so even a slight tone change makes her suspicious. so she tries to keep her rough tone, but its not working.
âWhat about me?â
âi dont know.. why dont you tell me?â
The woman whispers, leaning against the wall next to sam, who is desperately trying to keep watching her friends and tara, but failing and getting distracted.
Sam eyes the short girl and swishes the alcohol in her bottle, suspicion spiking now and though she is trying not to, she is failing at trying to continue her grumpy attitude. Shes got her hand wrapped around the pepper spray on her keychain, just incase this girl tries anything, but she just stares, wondering why she even cares.
âI dont know? im.. just meâ
The woman smiles shyly, shrugging
âthats oka-â
Before she finishes her sentence, some drunk guys rush past, pushing sam and her possible new friend aside roughly, Sam nearly drops her drink, and y/n is pushed right against sam. The taller woman groans in annoyance at the sudden impact, when she gets herself back together, she realizes the other stands fitting right under sams arm against her, seeming startled.
Sam hisses and looks down, noticing the woman stands right underneath her arm. if anything, shes startled as well. She cant help it though and her arms and hands instinctively wrap around y/nâs waist as she keeps her in place as well as protecting her from the crowd. Shes never protected someone before, other than her younger sister, but it was her instinct to grab this stranger by her waist. Sam doesnt know how she let this happen, but now this girl is pressed right up against her, and shes surprised that she didnt push her away yet. Normally she wouldnt be okay with someone touching her and would distance herself, but even though she seems annoyed and disgruntled, she doesnt move away. Instead Sam just keeps her arm around this girl, the pepper spray key chain hanging down as her hand rests on the shorter womans back. Shes a lot closer to her than she had anticipated.
The girls eyes widen slightly and she lets out a soft âoh-â when sam grabs her to keep her standing. y/n sees the pepperspray out of the corner of her eye but seems not to react, instead getting distracted by sams toned biceps and overall upper body, a faint blush creeping onto her face. Sam is immediately confused with herself and gets the instinct to back away. sam didnt come here to make friends, shes here to watch and protect Tara and her existing friends.
She seems to snap out of her instincts and realized she held the girl a bit longer than she should have. She tries not to stare too hard at the smaller woman, though her curiosity and intrigue continues to grow. she doesnt push the girl away and looks away as she puts one hand on her drink and looks off to the side, clearing her throat
âyou alright?â
Sam asks with a gentle voice she didnt expect to come out of her. shes usually loud, and rude, shes surprised by the softness to her tone.
ây-yeah..â
y/n mumbles, still blushing as she watches sams hand slowly leave her waist.
âthank you..â
Sam raises an eyebrow at y/n. She didnt know if she was actually okay, but shes not gonna ask again, Keeping one hand on her drink as she crosses her arms over her chest again. Shes still watching y/n, though in the corner of her eye, as shes back to keeping a close watch on her Tara, among other friends sheâs looking out for.
âhm. youre welcome.â
âwhats your name?â
y/n blurts out suddenly, unsure of a better time to ask
Sam looks back at the girl and narrows her eyes into slight suspicion again. She never really liked giving out her info, especially during this era. But.. for some reason she caves, shrugging and then leaning back against the wall.
âSam. Your name?â
ây/nâ
She responds, leaning against the wall next to sam, having to look up to talk to her
âHi Sam..â
Sam just lets out a short hum as a response. Its unusual for sam to feel this way around someone, not so on edge as she usually is.
She just keeps a close eye on everything around her, mainly Tara and co, but y/n was slightly distracting.
y/n tilts her head, the playful glint returning to her hazel eyes
âWhat, am I not interesting enough for you to look at?â
Sam looks at y/n, raiseing an eyebrow with a flat look.
âI was watching everything, and youre included. So yes. youre interesting enoughâ
She just takes a sip from her drink, trying to keep her tone even.
âYou seem distractedâ
Sam mumbles something in response but y/n doesnt catch it, squinting at the tall girl instead.
âOkay.. so what are you doing here if you dont like parties? No ones forcing you to be here you know.. you dont seem like a party person.â
â..yeah. I have to watch my friends and sister.â
she takes another sip of her drink, not taking her eyes off the crowd as she does so.
y/n tilts her head
âYou have to babysit your adult friends and sister?â
Sam just scoffs and rolls her eyes, her tone going back to being harsh. She never liked the âbabysitterâ word that some people like to use when talking about her. She crosses her arms over her chest again.
âIf youre calling this babysitting, then yes i have to babysit my âadult friendsâ and sister.â
âWhy?â
Sam scoffs again, her tone becoming harsher when y/n doesnât even know the answer and has probably never been in her situation.
âBecause they need me. Because someone in this world is always out to kill them.â
Sam eyes the shorter woman again, then glances back to the crowd. She doesnât even know why sheâs explaining this to a stranger.
âOh.â
It clicks in y/nâs head that the taller woman is refferring to the recent ghostface killings. She had heard of them all over, and how they were starting to pop up around NYC.
Sam is surprised when it clicks for her. Usually people ask, âwhat do you mean someoneâs out to kill them?â or âwhy do they need you?â or âyou canât be seriousâ but y/n didnt. She just put the pieces together. and sam didnât know what to say further. She takes another sip from her drink as she glances around the party, now a bit more anxious
y/n looks somber when the killings are mentioned, an expression Sam barely notices
âWhat about your own enjoyment?â
The paranoid womanâs stomach drops at the mention of her own enjoyment. She actually hasnât had any.. in a while. For a long time. Shes always on duty. Always keeping an eye on things and everyone else. she didnât even think she deserved any own enjoyment. Sam was doing this for everyone else, not herself. She shakes her head and takes another sip from her drink, her tone a bit harsh
âim more concerned about their lives than my enioymentâ
âmm..â
y/nâs change of voice is hard to hide as she says something that catches sam off guard entirely.
âYouâre a really good person.. the kind people should appreciate moreâ
Samantha is taken back when she hears the compliment, and she stays silent for a moment. She didnt think she was a good person. She didnt think she was anything. Sam just shook her head, not knowing what to say. She was Billy Loomisâ daughter..
âno im not-â
She quickly argues. it wasnt true. she just did what she had to do, she had to protect. there was nothing else to it. Sam took another sip from her drink, hoping y/n would just move on, because she didnt want to talk about it
âhushâ
The other woman cuts her off, glancing up at her and takes a sip of her own drink. Sam can see that her eyes seem to be slightly moist*
âyoure perfectâ
y/n whispers, barely able to be heard under the loud party music.
Sams eyes widen again. Her heart rate speeds up just from y/n calling her perfect. this isnt right. Sam wasnt perfect. she killed someone. Sam feels all her walls just break down at this point, which is incredibly out of character for her.
âim- im not perfect-â
Sam whispers, almost like a whimper. her harshness fades away and her gentle look comes in place as she stares down at y/n.
Sam blinks in complete shock. Was this girl about to cry? and why was she telling Sam she was perfect? therapy tall woman doesnt know what to do with this comment, and her cheeks had heated up a bit. Sam was about to speak when she notices those little tears in y/nâs eyes and stops herself. She cant say what she was about to say. she just watches her.
y/n smiles faintly, clearing her thoat
âi-i should go.. and leave you to your babysitting.â
Sam watches her, eyes soft as she sees her smile. She was hoping she didnt hear that right, but she couldnt get herself to stop her. Sam was about to speak again, but the harshness in her voice was completely gone. there was no more scowl, and she was just being soft like y/n was. As the short woman begins to walk away though, Sam stops her and grabs her hand. Startled, her head darts around and she looks up at Sam, a tear already threatening to fall.
..!
Sam freezes for a second, then realizes that she just grabbed y/nâs hand and is still holding onto her hand. In this moment, her mind is racing. She wants to say something but cant. She wants to ask something but feels this is just wrong. Sam watches as the tear runs down her cheek. She sees it and freezes. She cant help but feel guilty for making this girl almost cry. Normally, Sam would have let her go, and let the girl cry without even a care, but.. this was different. There was an urge to comfort her. So sam just takes a little step closer and gently grabs the girls chin, tilting her head up to look at her, all care about Tara and ghostface vanished.
âdont..â

This is not depraved at all (unless you take it there somehow đ)âso I will completely understand if you ignore this as it is not very on brand. We stan the king of ghoul rimming in this house. I really adore your fic about Copia coming home from tour and big boy Aeth sucking his brain out through his dick. I would love to know when the ghouls decided finally show Copia their faces and how it went. Even as itty bitty headcanons. Really glad to hear your surgery went well btw ⥠and thank you for sharing your writing with us! xx, @ghuleh-recs
It isn't actually an expressly forbidden thing. There's no rule that states the ghouls need their faces covered all the time, around the abbey. On stage, of course, but off? Imperator has never made any such decree. (Nihil never did, either, but we all know who's actually in charge.)
They prefer to keep masked when they aren't around only each other. The door to the ghoul common room is near an annex of the building and is locked for a reason; they prefer privacy. It's a lot of work to keep the human glamour going, and there's something about being seen in their true form, in any level, that feels intimate beyond words.
So, when Aether approaches Copia and lays a hand on his shoulder, leans in and invites him back after mass one night, Copia understands the gravity of the situation when he realizes what it is they want to share with him. And standing by the fireplace once inside, with his dear band ghouls surrounding him...he sees their eyes through the metal, knows how keenly he is being watched. Can feel nervousness that is not entirely his. It feels just as much that he's under a spotlight here, now, as it does when he's on stage for a ritual.
"Will you look human at all?" Copia asks softly, peering up at Aether.
"Some of us do," Aether murmurs. "More than Alpha and Omega. Any of the older ghouls."
He once heard Terzo describe looking at Omega's true face as "confusing". He never asked any follow up questions to clarify that statement, but he's always wondered if confusing meant strange to look at, or strange to look at because his human brain couldn't figure out exactly what it was looking at, in an Eldritch horror kind of way. If hellspawn are naturally just beyond what mortal minds can know.
"Are you sure?" Copia asks, though his hands are already reaching towards Aether's face. "You want me to see you?"
"We want you to know us," Aether replies simply, and carefully, so carefully, Copia slides off Aether's mask, like the metal might turn out to be sugar and splinter and break if he isn't gentle.
It's more human than he expects, but still so unnatural it makes him shiver. He sucks in a breath and takes in Aether's features; the deep grey skin, the fangs poking through black lips. His nose looks crooked, the skin pinched in the angles like it had been broken and stretched. There's texture in the skin that makes it look so distinctly inhuman. Copia looks into lavender eyes and gawks.
"Aether," he says, "you're lovely."
A smiling demon is a sight. Aether looks so pleased, and immediately sighs, shoulders slumping as he relaxes. To his right, Swiss laughs.
"He was so worried," he tells Copia, "you were gonna think he was ugly."
"I wasn't worried," Aether mutters, trying to shrug it off. Copia can tell by the petulant tone Swiss is telling the truth.
"Oh yes you were," Swiss says, and then Copia watches his face revealed, the mismatched eyes, the brilliant white of fangs against skin that looks less like skin and more like a void.
And one by one, they make themselves that much more known to Copia. Rain is the last, and the most hesitant. Dew keeps a hand on the small of Rain's back, a soothing little gesture.
"You don't have to, if you don't want to," Copia reminds him.
"He wants to," Dew says, answering for Rain. "He's just shy." The pale blue of Rain's eyes flash at Dew, and Copia just knows if he could see the expression right now, it would be a withering thing.
Rain lifts the mask away.
There's a weird iridescent quality to the skin. Copia's brain tells him it's wet, but when he reaches out with an ungloved hand and lays it gently against the angle of a cheekbone, it feels dry and warm. His nose is thin. Flat. Stripes under his jaw reveal gills. And where a mouth would be, Copia finds lips that look half melted together. Distinct in one corner, and like ruined wax on the other side. A feature that tried to form, and melted in the fire during his summoning.
"Is this why you're so quiet?" Copia asks carefully.
Rain nods and lets his eyes close, pressing his cheek into the warmth of Copia's palm.

Are you gonna let me in?
Hello?
Hello?
Ethan shot straight up from his bed, his heart pounding. For the past hour there has been an incessant tapping coming from his window. He had tried to brush it off as simply a tree branch, or maybe a bird. But then he heard a voice. No. He heard your voice. It was exactly the same as he had remembered. But that was impossible. It had to be. You were dead. Right?
He looked over to his window and almost fell backwards in a mixture of pure shock and terror. Sure enough, there you were. Sitting outside of his bedroom window, tapping on the glass. Except you looked different. Just like you had the last time he saw you. Your skin was pale, and there was a bullet hole in the side of your head, blood seeping down the side of your face.
You saw Ethan looking at you and you smiled. A sick and twisted sight. You no longer had the same calming presence about you. There was something else there. Something sinister. Your smile was wicked and your eyes were dark. Blood dripped out of your mouth, staining your teeth and leaving red streaks down your chin.
Ethan still sat on his bed, looking at you. He couldnât comprehend the sight in front of him. You were dead. You died a few weeks ago. Ethan had seen it, you died right in front of him. By his own hand. And yet, here you were, still tapping at his window and smiling eerily. But even though you were moving, and even speaking to him, you still looked dead. And the sight of it terrified him.
âPlease let me in, Ethan. You donât want me to freeze to death, do you?â You laughed softly at your words, knowing full well you were already dead.
Ethan hesitantly nodded and stood up, walking over to his window. He pulled it open and you crawled inside. His fear began to grow the longer he was around you. You smelled of blood and rotting flesh. You looked like a zombie. That was the closest thing he could compare you to. But even a zombie wouldnât induce this much fear in him. So you mustâve been something else entirely.
âThanks for letting me in, baby. We have so much to talk about.â You smiled sweetly, but your eyes still held the darkness you possessed.
2:45 and the bell went off
Thank God, many people think I'm odd
But I talk with no one and I walk alone
And I avoid sunlight with a chalky tone
Ethan pulled his hood over his head tighter and walked out of the classroom. He went to all his classes like normal, but he couldnât even bring himself to focus on anything. His mind was focused on one thing, and one thing only. You.
More specifically, everything that had happened with you last night. You had crawled in through his window, and sat yourself upon his bed, some of your blood dripping onto the sheets, staining them red. Ethan walked over, but still stayed at a distance. He had seen enough horror movies to know that the ghost of someone you killed usually wasnât very friendly.
âWhy so tense, baby?â you had asked, tilting your head questioningly.
Ethan fumbled over his words, stuttering as he tried to reply. âI- uhm, well. I- uhh,â he couldnât even figure out what he was trying to say, let alone how to make the words leave his mouth.
You simply smiled again and waved him over. He hesitantly came closer, sitting down beside you. Heâd be lying if he said he didnât miss your presence, but there was something off about you. However, you didnât seem particularly angry with him, or even upset for that matter. You just continued smiling at him, and you reached forward to place your hand on top of his. He had flinched at your touch, but he soon relaxed under it. You always had a way of comforting him, even when you looked like you were dead.
âHow? How are you here?â Ethan asked, looking confused and intrigued at the same time.
You laughed softly. âDonât you remember, baby? You killed me. Shot me. Right here.â You brought your other hand up and touched the gunshot wound on the side of your head. Your fingers were covered in your blood when you pulled them away.
Ethan felt his eyes well up with tears as he looked at you. He had never really experienced guilt before, but now the weight of it was almost crushing. âIâm sorry. Iâm so so sorry. I didnât want to kill you, believe me. I- I didnât have a choice.â
You smiled once more, and brought your hand up to rest against his cheek, your blood staining his skin. He leaned into your touch. âI know, baby. I know you would never want to hurt me.â
He let out a sigh of relief and smiled at you. Gone was the fear he had felt moments before. All he could feel was his love for you. A love that extended beyond the bounds of life and death.
âBut if you want to keep seeing me, I need you to do something for me.â
Ethan looked at you and nodded eagerly. âAnything. Iâll do anything for you. Just tell me what it is, and Iâll do it.â
You smiled wickedly. âPerfect.â
I get home and don't say hi, it ain't no one there
I don't care I walk in and go right up the stairs
To my room, get in bed and just wait for dark
Because that's when the real show start (Tap, tap)
Ethan sat on his bed, still wearing his Ghostface costume and holding his knife, both of which were covered in blood. He stared at his window expectantly, waiting for you to appear again. It had only been a day since he saw you last, but he couldnât wait any longer.
He turned away to pull his mask off, setting it down on his bed beside him. As soon as his eyes were off of his window, he heard a gentle tapping coming from the other side of the glass. There you sat, perched outside of his window, looking exactly as you did the night before. Ethan shot up from his bed and practically scrambled to get over to the window and open it.
âHi baby.â You smiled sweetly, your eyes still looking demonic. You crawled through his window again and sat down on his bed, waiting for him to come sit beside you.
As he walked back over, you noticed the bloody mask on the bed, as well as the bloody knife in his hand. You smiled gleefully, moving closer to him when he sat down.
âSo? Did you do it? Exactly like I told you?â you asked, looking at Ethan, eagerly awaiting his answer.
He shrugged, before he nodded at you. âAlmost exactly. I managed to slaughter Quinn and her boy toy. Anika almost got away, but I managed to kill her as well. Pushed her off a ladder as she was crawling into another apartment. I managed to stab Mindy too.â Ethan smiled wickedly, the rush of his recent kills still flowing through his veins.
You smiled again, leaning over to kiss Ethan gently. He sighed into the kiss, melting into your touch. You pulled away and looked into his eyes, a proud look on your face.
âGood job baby. You did so well. Now, before we talk about your next victims, I think you earned a little reward, hmm?â
Ethan smiled excitedly. You crawled onto his lap, smiling down at him. Then you reached down and began to take your shirt off.
"Tap tap" on the glass go the piece of ass
So young and pretty, it's too bad she passed
But she comes to my room and we talk at night
She's demonic and bloody, but she holds me tight
âWhat the hell were you thinking?! You know you werenât supposed to kill Quinn! Youâre such a fucking idiot Ethan! And to think I even thought you would ever compare to Richie. Youâre just a useless piece of shit! I wish you had died instead of him!â Wayne yelled at his son, anger in his eyes and hatred in his voice.
Ethan practically cowered under his fathers gaze, feeling as though he was shrinking under the harsh glare. He tried to say something, anything to defend himself. But he just couldnât. There was nothing he could say to help calm his father down. The plan was to make it look like Quinn had died. But you had told Ethan to really kill her. So he did. Because he swore to do whatever you wanted him to. And the next thing you wanted him to do was kill his father.
Wayne scoffed at Ethanâs silence. âOh I get it. This is about y/n, isnât it? Youâre still mad that I made you kill her, is that it? Get over yourself. She found out about our plan. She was going to ruin everything! We had no choice!â
Ethanâs fingers wrapped around the knife in his hoodie pocket, feeling himself grow angry. Ethan felt your hand on his shoulder. He turned to look, but you werenât there. And yet, he still heard your voice.
âYou know what you have to do. Just kill him, and then you can see me again. Donât you want to see me again? We had so much fun last time. Didnât we?â
Ethan nodded and steadied himself. He walked closer to his father, his gaze hardening. He clutched the knife handle tightly, not yet revealing the weapon.
âNo she wasnât! She swore to me that she wasnât going to tell anyone! I loved her! I fucking loved her! And you took her away from me!â
Ethan was only a few steps away from his father now, and Wayne could practically feel the anger radiating off of his son. He tried to back up, but he was already leaning against the wall. Ethan pulled his knife out, holding it against his fatherâs throat.
âWhoa, careful now Ethan! What do you think youâre doing? Just put the knife down. We can talk about this. Okay?â
Ethanâs hand shook. Then he heard your voice again.
âDo it. All you have to do to see me again is kill him. Do it.â
Ethanâs gaze hardened and he felt himself grow more steady. Wayne opened his mouth to speak again, but Ethan already dragged the knife against his throat before the words could come out. He felt the blood splatter his face, the crimson liquid staining his pale skin. He watched with a smile as his father grasped his neck and fell to the ground, drawing in his final breaths.
âGood job baby,â you whispered in his ear.
He turned to see you, and you still werenât there. But you would be.
In my bedroom, with her I'm never alone
And I kiss her cold lips until the morning come
Then she gone, I can still hear her voice loom
But she only exist in the dark of my room
Ethan walked into his bedroom and jumped in fright when he saw someone sitting on his bed. He felt himself calm when he realized it was just you. It was odd though. You had never been waiting for him on his bed before, you had always been outside his window, tapping on the glass and waiting to be let in. He pushed away his confusion, too overtaken by his excitement from seeing you.
You smiled, a sickeningly sweet one at that, and gazed upon Ethan, taking in his blood covered form. He felt chills run down his spine as you stared at him. His face was still covered in his fatherâs blood, and there was a blood stain coming from his pocket which held the knife. You reached out, beckoning Ethan closer. He did as you wanted, and sat beside you on his bed.
âYou did such a good job baby. Killed your father, just like I asked. Iâm so proud of you, my love.â The sweet look on your face did not match the darkness of your words. But somehow, the way you put them all together just made sense. And it drew Ethan in even more.
âWhy do you keep asking me to kill people? Not that I mind, Iâm just curious. You werenât like this⌠before,â Ethan said, growing nervous as your smile faltered slightly.
âNevermind that baby. All you need to know is that if you want to keep seeing me, youâll do whatever I say. And that includes killing whoever I tell you to. Alright?â
Ethan nodded. You smiled once more, and brought your hands up to hold his face. You leaned in closer to him, kissing him hungrily. Ethan shivered under your touch. You were so cold, it almost felt as if he was kissing a frozen corpse. But it was you, and dead or not, he still wanted you. And clearly you still wanted him. So he decided that it didnât matter. You were the only thing that mattered to him. And he wasnât going to let anything or anyone take you away ever again.
Love (I can't ignore you)
In my room (Do anything for you, baby) (Tap, tap)
Love (I do adore you)
In my room, you and I (Tap, tap go the piece of ass)
Ethan laid down on his bed, out of breath and filled with ecstasy. No matter how many times he had been with you, you never failed to take his breath away. You sat beside him, looking down at him and running your cold fingers through his hair. You had pulled his shirt on, and Ethan was lying underneath the covers. He felt his eyes slowly begin to close, your touch and your presence relaxing him.
âYou canât fall asleep just yet baby. I need to give you your next target. Or youâll never see me again.â You frowned at your words.
Ethanâs eyes opened and he sat up, eagerly awaiting your instructions. He really didnât have anything to lose anymore, since you had already instructed him to kill his sister and father, the last two members of his family. You were all he had now. His friends didnât trust him. Which was technically well deserved since Ethan truly was the one behind all of the recent murders. Or more accurately, you were the one behind the murders, and Ethan was nothing except your puppet.
Still, he didnât mind doing your bidding. Killing whoever you told him to. He found it thrilling. Not only did he get a rush out of killing, but he knew that every time he did it, you would show up that night, ready to reward him for his efforts. It was getting riskier and riskier for him, but he found himself not caring about the consequences anymore. As long as he got to be with you, he could care less about what would happen to him.
You smiled at his excitement, and ran your fingers through his hair one last time, before pulling your hands away. His shoulders fell slightly, but he tried to not let his disappointment show. He didnât want to risk doing anything to upset you, because he didnât want you to stop showing up. So he sat there, waiting for you to speak.
âGale is next. While Kirby is running surveillance and everyone else is distracted, get into Galeâs apartment and gut her. And her little boyfriend too. Donât go easy on them. Make it long, and painful. I want you to make a mess. I want you to destroy them. Do that, and Iâll come back tomorrow night.â
Ethan nodded eagerly, letting your instructions imprint in his mind. He had to do it exactly as you said. The last time he got a few details wrong, you didnât go easy on him that night. He still had some of the bruises on his skin from it. This time, he wasnât going to disappoint you.
Love (I can't ignore you)
In my room (Do anything for you, baby) (Tap, tap)
Love (I do adore you)
In my room, you and I (Tap, tap go the piece of ass)
Ethan had done what you said, and he was currently hiding in Galeâs apartment. Her boyfriend walked by and Ethan grabbed him, placing his hand over his mouth tightly and pressing his knife deep into his stomach. The man groaned in pain, and Ethan only clamped his hand over his mouth harder. He twisted the knife and dragged it up, tearing his torso open. His organs began to spill out, along with excessive amounts of blood.
Ethan smiled. He had done exactly what you wanted. He picked up Galeâs boyfriendâs corpse and threw it into the wooden shelving structure in her living room, the corpse falling through to the other side, causing Gale to scream in terror. Ethan wiped his knife clean and jumped through the hole he had created.
Gale tried to run, but Ethan was faster, easily catching up and pushing her onto the ground. She tried to fight back, but he managed to keep her down. It was as if Gale realized she wasnât going to get out of this. The fight in her eyes disappeared, and even though she still tried to fight, her efforts were significantly diminished.
Ethan plunged the knife into her side, not wanting to waste any time scaring her and risk her getting away. He had seen enough Stab movies to know that he had to move fast if he wanted her dead. He pulled the knife down, splitting her side open. Gale let out a guttural scream, choking on her own blood a few seconds later. Ethan pulled the knife out and moved back, stabbing her in the torso over and over again. She was a bloody mess, her flesh surrounding her in shredded chunks, and a pool of her blood forming beneath her.
He stood up and smiled at the work he had done. You were going to be so proud of him. Then he heard the door open. Ethan whipped his head around to see Sam and Tara standing there, looking terrified and heartbroken. He ran towards them, desperately wanting to get out of the apartment. He pushed through them and dashed towards the stairs, making it out of the building before either of them had time to react.
I try to smile a lot, but I'm always frontin'
But I do love a ghost and at least that's somethin'
She don't talk much, when she do it gets cold
Usually we just lay there and we hold each other
Just like the night before, you had been sitting on Ethanâs bed, waiting for him to return from his activities. He wasnât wearing the costume this time, but he held it in his bag, the mask and the knife almost completely covered in blood. But you didnât even need to see the proof to know he had done what you asked. You just knew. And you simply smiled.
Ethan smiled in return, dropping his backpack onto the floor. He walked towards you in silence, knowing what was going to happen now. The two of you had formed a fucked up routine. He killed someone for you, you would show up in his room and fuck him, and then you would give him instructions for the next dayâs victims. Excitement built up in him as he walked closer. You were underneath his covers, and he hadnât noticed it when he first walked in, but you werenât wearing anything. His blanket being the only thing covering you.
You sat up, letting the blanket fall down and exposing your bare chest to Ethan. He felt his breath hitch as he looked at you, and he quickly sat down beside you. He pulled his own shirt off, and looked at you expectantly, waiting to see what you wanted to do.
âI saw what you did for me today baby. And it was fucking perfect. You were just as brutal as I had hoped you would be. It was glorious.â
Ethan felt his heart race as you praised his work. He wasnât used to people being proud of him, and the fact that it was you made it even better. He smiled widely, and he reached a hand forward, resting it on yours.
âIt was all for you, my love.â
You smiled at his words, and wrapped your fingers around his hand, pulling him closer. This was going to be fun.
We're lovers, we don't need others
One of my mother's cats jumped up on the covers
And it scared my baby, guess she don't like pets
So I twisted its fuckin' head off at the neck
You were laying on Ethanâs chest, just enjoying each other's company, when a loud bang sounded from outside. You jumped up, clearly startled by the noise, and before Ethan could even react, you had vanished from sight.
âNo! Shit! Uhm, fuck. Where did you go? I- I need you to come back. You need to tell me what Iâm supposed to do! How will I be able to see you again?â Ethan pleaded, but there was no response.
The noise sounded again, and Ethan got up and walked over to his window. He saw a guy down there, setting off firecrackers, as the other two guys with him watched in delight. Ethanâs jaw clenched as he stared down at them. They were the reason you had left so abruptly. And they werenât going to get away with it.
Ethan walked over to his backpack and pulled on his Ghostface robe, sliding the mask over his head, and holding the knife in his hand. Chad wasnât home that night, and it was close enough to Halloween that no one would pay any mind to the bloody costume. Ethan walked out of his dorm and began heading for the ground floor.
He hadnât been able to get instructions from you for the next kills, so he didnât know how to get you back. But if killing is what brought you back to him, maybe he would be able to bring you back this way.
Ethan approached the three guys, all wearing letterman jackets. They were all very clearly wasted, most likely drunk off their asses and high on who knows what. But it meant they wouldnât be able to fight back very well, which was great for Ethan. He probably would never be able to take down three frat boys all on his own. But three wasted frat boys? Now that he could do.
âYo! Sick costume my man!â one of the guys called out as Ethan walked closer.
Ethan walked over to the closest frat boy, the one who had complimented his outfit, and stabbed him over and over again in the chest and stomach, before slitting his throat. He fell to the ground, blood seeping out of him.
The next frat boy, the one who had been lighting the firecrackers, looked up at Ethan terrified. He tried to back away, but his back hit a wall. He trembled in fear as Ethan grew closer. Ethan smirked to himself as he took in the guyâs fear, and had to hold back a laugh when he realized the boy had pissed himself.
However, the third frat boy had a very different reaction. Ethan turned in confusion as the third guy burst out laughing, tears falling from his eyes.
âYo, Scotty is that you? Sick prank my man! It looks so fucking real! You almost got me dude.â
Ethan rolled his eyes and turned back to the second guy, stabbing him over and over again wherever he could, before finally plunging his knife into the guyâs head, right through his eye. He removed the knife, and a majority of the guyâs eye came out with it. The third guyâs eyes widened as he began to realize that this wasnât a prank, and that Ethan wasnât whoever the hell Scotty was.
âOh shit!â he screamed, turning to run before tripping on his own feet and face planting onto the ground.
Ethan loomed over him, and raised his knife menacingly. The guy held up his hands, but Ethan ignored them. He raised his knife, and readied himself for his next attack.
Look baby, it's bloody, it's gone, it's doomed
Please come back to the room
I'll do anything for thee, don't ignore me
This is more than a sick love story
Ethan paced back and forth in his bedroom, waiting for you to show up. You hadnât been waiting for him on his bed like you had been the past two nights. He was beginning to think you might not even show up at all. But then he heard a gentle tap tap tapping on his window, and turned to see you sitting there, just as you had been a few nights ago.
Ethan practically ran over to the window and threw it open, moving back so you could crawl inside. Your face was expressionless as you entered his room, and you looked around, almost as if you were searching for something. Ethan closed his window and then stood beside you, gently intertwining his fingers with yours.
âDonât worry sweetheart, I got rid of them. The guys who were making noise last night. I slaughtered all three of them and left them in the alley. It was the only way I could think of bringing you back to me.â
You smiled at Ethanâs words, and then grabbed the collar of his shirt, pulling him towards you. You kissed him, this time it felt more desperate than it had the previous nights. Ethan thought he mightâve lost you for good, and he couldnât believe that his idea had worked. He had gotten you back. Maybe it didnât matter who he killed, as long as he killed someone, you always showed up.
But he didnât dare mention that to you. He was still going to kill whoever you told him to, and he didnât want you to think he would ever even think about disobeying you. So he went along with what you were doing, letting you have your way with him. Before he knew it, you had taken his shirt off and pushed him back onto his bed. You were moving closer to him, staring at him hungrily. Ethan felt a shiver run down his spine as you got closer, smiling as you looked down at him.
âYou did so good for me baby. So proud,â you smiled, and it was a bit condescending, but Ethan didnât mind.
He smiled and nodded, feeling his heartbeat speed up from your words and from how close you were. This was going to be a night he would never forget.
Without you I'd bring a shotgun to school
And I will if you want me to, for any reason
I hate that you leave when the lights come on
And if I had it my way the fuckin' sun'd be gone
Ethan rested his head on your chest, looking up at you. There was nothing but love and devotion in his eyes. You had him completely wrapped around your finger. He would do anything to feel you again. To even just see you again. And both of you knew it.
âWho do you want me to kill next, my love? Iâll do anything you say, no matter what. Just tell me, and Iâll do it.â
You laughed fondly and smiled down at him. âYouâre so eager. Arenât you? Itâs not just about seeing me, is it? You love killing, donât you?â
Ethanâs face went red and he looked away from you. It was almost as if he was embarrassed. But you couldnât for the life of you figure out why. There was nothing to be ashamed of. If anything, his passion for killing helped you out even more. It didnât take nearly as much convincing as you thought it would to get him to do your bidding.
You placed a finger under his chin and forced him to look up at you. His face was still red, and you simply smiled at him, the sight comforting him slightly.
âDonât go all shy on me now, baby. Iâm right, arenât I?â you smile turned into a smirk. His face blushed darker as he realized you were teasing him.
He slowly nodded. âY-yeah. Youâre right. I love killing. Iâd do it with or without you. N-not to say I want to do it without you! I never want to do anything without you. Ever!â
You smiled fondly. âI know baby, I know. Youâre just as fucked up in the head as I am. And I love it. So fucking much.â
He smiled up at you, relaxing into your embrace. You brought your hand up to his head and started absentmindedly playing with his hair. He sighed softly at the feeling, relaxing even more.
âSo, how is it going with everyone? Are they getting close to figuring out itâs you?â
Ethan shook his head. âNo. I donât think so. Mindyâs convinced itâs me, but sheâs the only one. Everyone else is clueless.â
âShe is, huh? Sounds like sheâs going to become a problem. Donât you think?â
Ethan nodded, waiting for you to continue.
âI want her gone next. Find a way to get the two of you separated from the rest of the group. Kill her. Make it look like you tried to protect her. Gain everyoneâs trust. Can you do that?â
Ethan nodded, smiling widely at you. âYeah, I can do that.â
Love (I can't ignore you)
In my room (Do anything for you, baby) (Tap, tap)
Love (I do adore you)
In my room, you and I (Tap, tap go the piece of ass)
The group was currently headed to the Ghostface shrine, where they were hoping to lure in the killer in order to execute him. Too bad he wouldnât be showing up.
Sam, Tara, Danny, and Chad had gotten onto the subway, the doors closing seconds before Mindy could get on. She had been left behind. With Ethan. Mindy glanced over at him uneasily, but Ethan simply smiled. He was trying to get her to trust him, but Mindy couldnât shake the feeling that Ethan wasnât being truthful. Of course, she was right. But no one else had to know that.
Mindy and Ethan got onto the next train, and Mindy walked away from Ethan, not wanting to be sat close to him. Despite that, Ethan walked over and stood beside her anyways. Mindy looked at him confused, and tried shifting away, but Ethan just moved closer again.
âWhat the hell are you doing?â Mindy asked, glaring at Ethan suspiciously.
âIâm trying to keep both of us safe. Safety in numbers, right? If we stay on our own, itâs more likely for one of us to be attacked. But by all means, if youâre willing to take that chance Iâll go stand somewhere else.â
Mindy sighed and shook her head, relenting. âNo, itâs fine. I- I guess you do have a point. And if it is you, thereâs no way you would try anything right now. So no harm done, I guess.â
Ethan smiled and nodded. âExactly. Iâll protect you and youâll protect me!â
The two of them stood in silence, resting against the door at the end of the train. The lights kept flickering, and Mindy glanced around uneasily. She had been trying to text Chad for the past few minutes, but there wasnât any service. She grumbled and put her phone away, slightly shifting away from Ethan.
Then the train went dark. Ethan smiled to himself wickedly. Now was his chance. He turned, pushing Mindy against the door and holding his hand against her mouth. To anyone looking, it appeared to be two teenagers making out. The perfect cover. Mindyâs eyes went wide as she stared up at Ethan in fear. He pulled his knife out and sliced her torso open, from bottom to top. Her organs began to fall out, blood pouring out of the newly present opening. Ethan quickly wiped his knife off and concealed it again. Moving away to stand near the seats. Mindy fell to the floor.
When the lights finally came back on, Ethan looked over to see Mindy lying on the floor, and immediately pretended to freak out. He had to put on a good show, this needed to look realistic.
âOh shit, Mindy!â
He rushed over to her side, crouching beside her, trying to help keep her blood in. An obviously futile task.
âShit, thatâs a lot of blood. Help! Somebody help!â
Ethan managed to get Mindy off of the subway and placed her on the ground, resting her against a column. She was clearly dead by now, but he didnât stop trying to get help. Two security guards from the station rushed over to assist, and Ethan backed up, maintaining a panicked look on his face. Despite how upset he looked, he was overjoyed on the inside. Another victim down. And it was all for you. He would get to see you again soon, and he couldnât wait.
Love (I can't ignore you)
In my room (Do anything for you, baby) (Tap, tap)
Love (I do adore you)
In my room, you and I (Tap, tap go the piece of ass)
Ethan walked into his room and shut the door behind him. Just like you had before, you sat on his bed waiting for him. Ethan could barely contain his excitement at just the mere sight of you. You were beautiful. Even if you were dead, and you very clearly looked like it, Ethan still thought you were beautiful. It didnât matter that you were covered in your own blood or that you were slowly rotting from the inside out. He would always think you were beautiful. No matter what.
âI did it. Just like you told me to,â he said, smiling widely as he walked over to you.
You smiled sweetly, your eyes still dark and soulless. âGood job baby. Iâm so proud of you.â
You wrapped your arms around him and hugged him tightly. Ethan relaxed into your embrace, leaning up against you. You kissed the top of his head and then pulled away, smiling again. But this time, it was more sinister.
âOnly a few more left, baby. And then we can be together. Forever,â your sweet voice starkly contrasted the cruelness of your words.
Ethan nodded eagerly, turning to face you completely.
âTell me what to do next. Tell me, and Iâll do it. Iâd do anything to be with you forever.â
âI know you would, my love. Thatâs why I love you. More than anything else.â
Ethan smiled again. âI love you too.â
âSo tell me about it. I want to hear everything,â you smiled wickedly, leaning forward slightly.
Ethan nodded. He went to answer, but you had moved so close to him that he just couldnât help himself. Ethan leaned in and kissed you, feeling his head begin to spin from your touch.
Sometimes I kiss her, I start shakin'
She slips me the tongue, and it tastes like bacon
Uh oh, something's wrong, baby's upset
She told me she was spotted by the neighbor's kid
You giggled as you pulled away from the kiss. Ethanâs eyes were wide and his face was flushed. His heart was racing and his mind was moving so fast he couldnât form any words. He looked over at you, smiling like a lovesick idiot.
âCome on darling. Tell me all about it.â You smiled again, growing excited from just thinking about the latest murder your boyfriend committed in your name.
âI did everything you asked. I got Mindy separated from the rest of the group. We were on a different train together. And when the lights on the train went out, I gutted her. Everything went perfectly.â
Before you could respond, Ethanâs door burst open. Chad stood there, glaring at Ethan. He felt a shiver run down his spine, Chad had never looked so angry before. So terrifying. Ethan turned to look over at you, but you were gone. Ethanâs eyes narrowed as he turned back to Chad. It was his fault you were gone. How dare Chad take you away from him?
âAre you fucking kidding me?! It was you?! This whole time I trusted you. I defended you. And you were the killer this whole fucking time?!â Chad stormed over to Ethan, enraged.
He grabbed Ethan by the collar of his shirt and pushed him up against the wall. Ethan didnât feel scared of Chad anymore. He was just angry. Chad had made you leave. And he wasnât going to get away with it.
âHow could you? You were my best friend! How could you do that? Why? Why did you kill Mindy?!â Chad yelled, keeping Ethan pushed up against the wall.
âI didnât have a choice! It was y/n! They made me do it!â Ethan said, trying to keep Chad distracted. He subtly reached his arm out towards his nightstand, trying to grab his knife.
âBullshit man! Y/n is dead! You probably killed her too! Tell me the truth! Why did you do this?â Chad only grew angrier, pulling Ethan away from the wall and shoving him against it again.
âI told you why! Y/n made me do it!â Ethan grasped the knife and pulled it over.
She can't come back now 'cause they know our secret
Unless I can make them keep it
If I do she may come to life
Now I'm in their yard with a shotgun and knife
Ethan drove his knife into Chadâs side, blood instantly staining the fabric of his shirt. He immediately let go of Ethan as he screamed in pain. Ethan pushed Chad back, causing him to fall over onto Ethanâs bed. He walked over and stabbed Chad, again and again. Everywhere he could. Chad was long dead by now, nothing more than a bloody mess, but Ethan couldnât stop. He was just so angry. He had been wanting to see you all day, and now because of Chad, you were gone.
Ethan finally got off of Chad, leaving him unrecognizably mutilated. His room was completely covered in blood, making it look like something right out of a Stab movie. Ethan wiped his knife off on his bed sheets and shoved it in a pocket inside his jacket. He walked out of his room and left his dorm without a second thought. He was still covered in blood, but it was Halloween, so it didnât matter. He could walk around like this and nobody would question anything.
Before he could even realize where he was going, he found himself heading towards Sam and Taraâs apartment complex. He was still in a blind rage, and he didnât want to have to wait any longer to be with y/n forever. They were going to have him kill Sam and Tara anyways, so why wait any longer? He wanted to be with you now.
Ethan walked up the stairs, his eyes dark and his head numb. He wasnât even entirely aware of his actions right now. He was angry, and the only thing he could think about was you. All he had to do was kill two more people, and then you could stay with him forever. So what if he had to kill all his friends and the only family he had left? It was all worth it for you. Anything would be worth it for you.
Cut the screen, went in and found the kid
Blew a bowl of spaghetti in the side of his head
And the daddy was next runnin' down the hall
I shredded his throat and he was quick to fall
Ethan knocked on the apartment door and waited. A few moments later he heard the locks clicking open. The door swung open, and Tara stood behind it. She gasped when she looked up at Ethan, who was still very much covered in blood. She moved aside to let Ethan in, and when she turned to lock the door, Ethan smiled to himself.
âEthan, what happened?! Are you hurt?â Tara walked over to him and tried to check for any major injuries.
âNo, Iâm alright. But it- itâs justâŚ,â Ethan trailed off, pretending to be holding back tears.
âWhat is it? What happened?â Taraâs eyes grew worried, and her breathing began to quicken.
âItâs Chad. He- Heâs gone. The killer. They were in our dorm when we got back. They killed Chad. I- I managed to get away. I just feel horrible for leaving him behind,â Ethan choked on his words. He began forcing tears to fall.
Tara pulled him into a hug, feeling herself begin to cry as well.
âI- I canât believe this. Iâm so sorry.â
She sobbed against Ethan, burying her face against his shoulder. Ethan let her, and slipped his hand into his jacket, pulling out his knife. While Tara was distracted, he plunged it into her back, causing Tara to let out a bloodcurdling scream. He brought his other hand up to the back of her head, keeping her face pressed against him to muffle her screams.
He pulled the knife up, cutting through her flesh and leaving a trail of blood in his wake. He yanked it out and then stabbed her, over and over again. A pool of blood began to form beneath the two of them. Soon she stopped struggling, and her body went limp in his arms. Ethan let go of her and pushed her forward, Taraâs body falling to the floor.
âTara? Are you alright?â Sam called from her bedroom.
Apparently the sound of a body hitting the floor was louder than Ethan thought. But at least he knew where Sam was. He wiped the blood off of his knife and slid it back into his jacket, walking towards where he heard Samâs voice.
Tossed the Mossberg and gripped the knife
Started stabbin' the shit outta his wife
Went home a bloody mess with a job well done (Tap, tap)
Wash up and wait for my baby to come (Tap, tap)
He pushed the door open and cursed to himself when he saw Danny in Samâs room with her. Taking the two of them down was going to be difficult. But he knew he would be able to do it. He would be able to do anything, as long as it was for you. So, Ethan stepped into the room.
He tried to make himself look sad, hoping he could make the two of them believe he was innocent. If he burst in here trying to kill them immediately, there was no way he was going to make it out of here. He glanced over to Danny, who sat up and looked at Ethan with concern once he saw how much blood was all over him.
Ethan would need to get rid of Danny first. He was going to be the biggest problem. Sam was probably going to be easier. Especially since she was unarmed and not expecting to be attacked.
âOh my god. What happened to you?â Danny asked, a mixture of shock and confusion in his voice.
Sam, on the other hand, wasnât as caring. She narrowed her eyes and she looked at Ethan. âHow did you get in here?â
âTara let me in. I- I came over to tell her about Chad. And then, the killer showed up. I- I tried to stop him,â Ethanâs voice broke as he began to fake cry again.
âWhat about Chad?â Sam asked, not believing Ethanâs story.
âHeâs dead. The killer- he was waiting for us when we got back to our dorm. I couldnât stop him. Chad told me to run. I- I-,â he cut himself off, crying even harder.
Sam stood up, walking over to Ethan.
âWhereâs Tara?â
Ethan sniffled. âCome on, Iâll show you.â
Sam nodded, then turned to look at her boyfriend. âDanny, stay here. Iâll be right back.â
Love (I can't ignore you)
In my room (Do anything for you, baby) (Tap, tap)
Love (I do adore you)
In my room, you and I (Tap, tap go the piece of ass)
Sam gasped when she saw Taraâs body lying on the floor. She fell to her knees and started sobbing, shaking her sister in an attempt to get her to wake up. But she wasnât responding.
âSheâs not going to wake up,â Ethan said.
Sam turned around to look at Ethan. âWhat?â
Ethan sighed, then he pulled his knife out. âI said, sheâs not going to wake up.â
Samâs eyes widened as she realized what was happening. She stood up, her eyes turning dark.
âMindy was right. It was you. Is that why you killed her? Because she was getting too close to figuring it out?â
Ethan shrugged. âMore or less.â
âWhy are you doing this? We havenât done anything to you. There isnât any reason behind this.â
Ethan smiled. âSee, thatâs where youâre wrong. Richie was my brother. You remember Richie, right? The guy you brutally murdered last year.â
Samâs eyes widened in shock. She had always thought Ethan looked familiar, but she had never realized why. Not until right now. She stepped closer to Ethan, and Ethan stepped back.
âSo thatâs why youâre doing this, huh? Iâm the one who killed him! You didnât need to hurt anyone else if you were after me!â
âActually, thatâs not why Iâm doing this. Thatâs why this all started. It was me, Quinn, and our dad. He wanted to get revenge, and he easily talked Quinn into it. I didnât want to. I didnât think killing was for me. My mom was against it too. Or, at least she was until my dad made me kill her.â
âQuinnâs your sister? What, you guys did this as a family?â
âYou ruined our family, so we wanted to destroy yours. But letâs just say that plans changed.â
âWhy would you kill them then, huh? Why kill Quinn? Why kill your dad? I thought you guys were working together.â
âOh we were. That was until my dad forced me to kill y/n. Not a day goes by that I donât regret putting the bullet in his head instead. But heâs gone now. All I have left to do is to kill you and your little boyfriend. Then y/n will finally come back to me forever. They wonât have to leave again.â
âWhat are you talking about? Y/n is dead! Youâre not making any sense!â
âI donât care if it makes sense to you or not, I know the truth.â
Love (I can't ignore you)
In my room (Do anything for you, baby) (Tap, tap)
Love (I do adore you)
In my room, you and I (Tap, tap go the piece of ass)
Ethan didnât waste anymore time. He lunged for Sam, trying to kill her. She dodged, causing Ethan to slice the side of her arm. Sam screamed in pain, her hand reaching up to press against the steadily bleeding wound. Ethan ran over to her, and was about to stab her again, when he heard Danny appear behind them. Ethan groaned and turned around.
âYo! What the hell?â Danny said, in shock from the sight before him.
Ethan grumbled. âI don't have time for this shit.â
He stepped towards Danny and lifted his knife, slashing him across the throat. Danny fell to the ground, gripping his throat in an attempt to stop the blood from pouring out. It didnât do much at all, and he soon laid there on the ground, lifeless, in a puddle of his own blood.
Sam gasped as she watched Danny fall to the ground. Ethan turned around and ran back over to her, stepping on her leg to prevent her from getting away. He leaned down and grabbed Samâs arm, pulling her up. She fought against his grip, but she wasnât getting anywhere.
Ethan smiled, a mixture between joy and pure evil, as he plunged his knife into Sam. She screamed out in pain as she continued to try and escape. Ethan stabbed her again and again, adding to the continuously growing puddle of blood on the floor. Sam elbowed Ethan in the side, causing him to loosen his grip on her.
Sam freed her arm and immediately collapsed to the ground. She was losing a lot of blood, and was fighting to remain conscious. She tried to crawl over to the door, but moving was incredibly difficult, especially since she kept slipping in the blood on the floor. Ethan easily walked over to her, and pinned her down on the ground. He stabbed her again, this time in the neck. He twisted the knife, and Samâs screams slowly died down as he tore through her throat.
Her body soon fell limp and he pulled the knife back out. He placed it back inside his jacket, not bothering to wipe it off this time. Now he had nothing left to do except go back to his dorm and wait.
I waited two or three days, four days
Waitin' for the "tap tap" like always
I waited and hated this (Tap, tap)
I created a bloody mess (Tap, tap)
Ethan sat on his bed, staring out the window. When he had gotten home last night, he cleaned himself off and then went to work on cleaning up his room. He moved Chadâs body into his bedroom, and locked the door before he closed it. Returning to his own room, he cleaned up the blood as best as he could, and he threw away the sheets that had been on his bed, not wanting to bother trying to remove those stains.
Now it was a day later, and everything had been cleaned up. He was sitting on his bed and waiting for you to show up, just like you had for the past few nights. Except this time, you were nowhere to be found. All night Ethan had sat and stared at his window, waiting for you to show up. But you never did.
Soon, the sun had come up. He stayed up all night waiting for you, and you never showed. He was upset, and he was confused. What had he done wrong? He had done everything you wanted and then some. He killed his best friend for you. He killed his family. He even killed the rest of the people you wanted all at once, so neither of you would have to wait anymore.
What had he done wrong? You always showed up. Everytime he killed someone, you showed up. But last night you hadnât. Ethan felt himself spiraling, desperately trying to think of a reason as to why you didnât show up. But he couldnât find a single one.
I waited two or three months, four months
Waitin' for the "tap tap," just for once
I waited and hated this (Tap, tap)
I created a bloody mess (Tap, tap)
Every night like clockwork, Ethan sat there and waited for you. He didnât go to class anymore. He barely ate, barely slept. Seeing you again was the only thing that mattered. Days went by. Then weeks. Then months. And you were still nowhere to be found. It was beginning to drive Ethan crazy.
But he realized he couldnât just go on like this. If he wanted to see you again, he would have to do something about it. He had been going over what he had done the last night he saw you, and then he realized something. He had missed someone. One of the victims that you had wanted dead was still alive. Kirby was still out there.
After the murders, Kirby had transferred to the FBI in NYC. She was still in the city. It wouldnât be that difficult for Ethan to find her. Or for Ethan to get rid of her. Maybe if he killed her, you would come back to him. And maybe this time, you would never leave.
Kirby had given Ethan her number after everything that had happened. He was the only survivor. He had managed to pin all of the murders on Danny, and all of the cops seemed to believe him. Kirby didnât want Ethan to be alone after all of this, so she gave him a way to contact her if he ever needed anything. He never planned on using it, not wanting to involve himself with the authorities anymore than he had to.
But now, he didnât really have much of a choice. So he pulled his phone out and found her contact, pressing the call button.
âKirby? Itâs Ethan.â
I waited two or three days, four days ("Where is she?")
Waitin' for the "tap tap" like always
I waited and hated this (Tap, tap) ("Why isn't she comin' back?")
I created a bloody mess (Tap, tap) ("I fuckin' killed those people!")
Ethan knocked on the door of Kirbyâs apartment, anxiously playing with his hands. He just wanted to get this over with. He couldnât wait any longer to see you, and the thought that all he had to do was kill one more person to see you again made him more excited than he could ever remember being. All of this waiting would soon be over. And he could finally be yours. Forever.
Kirby opened the door and let Ethan inside. As soon as the door was locked and Kirby was facing the other way, Ethan pulled out his knife and tackled Kirby to the ground. He stabbed her in her scar, twisting the knife. She screamed in pain as blood poured out of her, trying to push Ethan off of her. But it was no use, Ethan was over a foot taller than her.
He pulled the knife out and then stabbed her again, over and over, creating a bloody mess. He was so angry, mostly at himself, for messing this up. For being kept from you for so long. So many feelings were stuck bottled up inside of him, and he was finally able to let them all out.
He pulled the knife out for the final time, and smiled as he stood up. Kirby was definitely dead by now, the majority of her blood now laying in a puddle beneath her. Ethan shoved his knife back inside his jacket pocket and turned around, walking out of the apartment and leaving the door open behind him.
When he got home, you would finally be there. Waiting for him.
I waited two or three months, four months
Waitin' for the "tap tap," just for once ("Where the fuck is she?!")
I waited and hated this (Tap, tap)
I created a bloody mess (Tap, tap) ("Why isn't she coming back?!")
Ethan practically ran into his room, excitement building up inside him. But you werenât there. His room was still empty. He sighed, feeling deflated. He slammed his door shut behind him and walked over to his bed, sitting down on it.
Maybe he would just have to wait. The last time you were scared away, you showed up later than normal. So all he would have to do was wait. He knew you were going to be coming back, he was sure of it. He had done everything you had asked, and everything that you were going to tell him to do. Thereâs no way you werenât going to show up now.
He stared at his window like always, waiting for you to show up. Minutes went by. Then it was hours. And before he knew it, the sun was up again. You still hadnât shown up. Why hadnât you shown up? What else did he have to do?
Ethan screamed in frustration as he laid back on his bed. Maybe you were never coming back. Had you ever even really been there in the first place? All this time, everything Ethan had been doing for you, had you just been a hallucination all this time?
He shook his head, pushing those thoughts away. There was no way you were just a hallucination. He had seen you. He had talked to you. He had felt you. You had to have been there. You had to have been real. Because if you werenât, then Ethan did all of this for nothing. He killed his family for you. But if you werenât real, then he lost his only family for nothing.
I waited two or three days, four days (Love)
Waitin' for the "tap tap" like always ("I can't believe I did it") (In my room)
I waited and hated this (Love)
I created a bloody mess ("I killed them!")(In my room, you and I)
Ethan had been spiraling hard since the day he killed Kirby. It had been a few days, and you still hadnât shown up. He couldnât tell what was real anymore. He didnât know if you had really been there, or if you were just a hallucination. And the thought of that was driving him crazy.
He almost never left his room anymore. He couldnât bring himself to. He didnât want to miss you if you showed up. He was losing weight, and he was struggling to stay awake. But he couldnât let himself miss you. Even if it destroyed him, Ethan would wait until you finally showed up again.
He didnât want to admit it, but Ethan was losing it. He felt his mind begin to crack and reality slowly slipped away. He couldnât tell what was real or fake anymore. He was hearing your voice all the time, but he still couldnât see you. He was going insane, waiting for you to show up. The longer he waited, the less hope he had. He couldnât bring himself to come to terms with the fact that you were probably never coming back. If you had ever even been there at all.
Ethan paced back and forth in his room, muttering to himself. He didnât know what he was saying, he barely even knew what he was thinking. All he could bring himself to do was to stay in his room and wait. Sometimes he found himself forgetting what he was even waiting for. But he kept doing it, knowing deep down just how important it was. He just couldnât bring himself to give up hope. He was going to see you again. He was sure of it.
I waited two or three months, four months (Love)
Waitin' for the "tap tap," just for once ("Where is she?!") (In my room)
I waited and hated this (Love)
I created a bloody mess (In my room, you and I)
Ethanâs hands shook as he sat on his bed, holding a gun inside his mouth. He couldnât take it anymore. He was tired of waiting for you to show up, because he was beginning to doubt that you ever would. He had gotten so lost inside his head, waiting for you, that he let everything else in his life fall apart. He didnât have any friends or family anymore, he had killed them all for you. He had missed so many classes that it would be pointless to try and catch up now.
His life had begun to revolve around you. You took up his every thought, filling his entire being. The longer he went without you, the more of himself he felt slip away. And now, there was nothing left. He was nothing anymore. He was just an empty shell. And it was all because of you.
His hands shook even more as he tried to get himself to pull the trigger. He pulled the gun out, sobbing as he began to shake even harder. He didnât know if he would be able to do this. He looked down at the gun in his hand, the image becoming blurry from the tears in his eyes.
âCome on darling. I know you can do it.â
Ethanâs head shot up, as he desperately looked around for you. He couldnât see you, but he had just heard you, he was sure of it. He heard your voice. Somehow, someway, he had heard you speaking to him.
âJust this one last thing. And then we can be together forever. Donât you want that?â
Ethan slowly nodded his head. âY-yes.â
âGood. So just put the gun in your mouth. And you can figure out the rest from there.â
Ethan did as you asked, his hands steadying. He brought the gun back up and placed it in his mouth again. He wasnât afraid anymore. You wanted this. You wanted him to do this. And that was all the motivation he needed to finish this. The way he had intended.
âCome on baby. You can do it. I know you can.â
Ethan brought his finger to the trigger, readying himself to pull it. He slowed his breathing to calm himself down, and prepared himself for what he was about to do. Just a few more moments, and this would all be over. Ethan would finally be with you again. Forever.
âIâll see you soon, my love.â
Ethan pulled the trigger.
Hey, man, let me get some of that
Yeah, uh, listen, I'm not a crackhead
When are y'all plannin' on buying me a cigarette

Word count: 4.0k
Series masterlist
Warning: drunk!ben, language, angst, fluff (we've got everything!), mention of smut (not the way you think)
Author's note: Still feeling the muse, let's go!
This series was meant to be a three-parter, but while writing this I realized the third part was just the morning after đ
So, I'm merging everything. Watched S3 after writing this. Just noticed Sloane actually made that dress herself, oops. 𼚠Eight is wearing the dress by Zuhair Murad on the right. For these events, Eight likes to cover her skin due to her powers making her feel sensitive. I figured if Allison can go all out, so can my character. It's the end of the world, what the heck. Please tell me you guys want to read my S4 fic when I start to work on that đĽšđ¤ You know how it goes, comments and reblogs feed me.
âHey, Y/N, where have you been?â The moment you heard Lutherâs voice from a distance in the lobby, you turned your head to watch your brother walk arm in arm with Sloane towards you.
You winced at the reminder of the team meeting you had deliberately neglected to show up for. âOh, Iâm sorry. Luther. My body canât handle the weird tension with Allison and Viktor. Iâm all for easing tension, but Iâm getting a migraine just being there. The last time I numbed myself was not a good week for me,â you explained, while realizing you were on a rambling roll when you were done.
âI understand. Listen-â Luther started.
âLuther and I just wanted to let you know,â Sloane snuggled deeper into his side before she gingerly raised her bejeweled hand, while pressing her lips together in a nervous but excited energy. âWeâre getting married.â
It took you a few seconds to understand what your eyes were seeing. Your giggling eased the tightness in their bodies. âOh my God. Congratulations, you two.â You had to stretch a bit on your tip toes to reach Lutherâs gargantuan shoulders when you tried to hug them both simultaneously.
It was moments like this when you appreciated how Luther always gave the best hugs among your siblings when he squeezed you a tad tighter than you did. Still, no broken bones, no foul.
Lingering in their embrace, you felt like you could breathe again when you said, âIâm so happy for you, Luther. You guys deserve it.â
After finally letting go, Sloane offered you a grateful smile while rubbing the inside of Lutherâs arm. âThank you. Itâs tonight, at 6 in the banquet hall. Black tie-â she said, listing off a mental checklist of important information.
âWhich is in a few hours, soâŚâ Luther added, chuckling excitedly.
You smiled, letting yourself be swept away by his infectious energy. âCanât wait. Let me grab a dress real quick,â you replied, pointing with your thumb behind you and secretly hoping there will still some shops open. Or still standing.
Luther nodded in understanding. âRight, you do that. Gotta dash to my bachelor party. Can you believe I just said that?â He already walked a few steps when he stopped in his tracks.
âForgot something.â With a surprising motion, Luther kissed Sloane, while lowering her into a dip and with such a passion like he didnât need air. After that public display of affection, he rushed off with an adorable wave.
âYou guys are sugary sweet. I feel like I could die just watching you,â you said with a dry tone.
Sloaneâs cheeks were blushing when she staggered slightly. âHeâs it for me.â
With arching eyebrows, you nodded. âI can see that. Now I gotta think about where to get a dress in the apocalypse.â
While following your steps, Sloane asked, âDo you mind if I catch one with you too?â
You chuckled at their spontaneously planned wedding. âSure. Letâs make our own bachelorette party, huh? Iâll meet you here later, okay? Iâll be quick.â
âLetâs do that.â
Quickly, you rushed towards the elevator which transported you to the floor of where your hotel room was located.
As soon as you arrived on the floor, Benâs voice jolted you from behind. âNice of you to finally show up.â
âOh God, donât do that.â
Ben walked by your side as you tried to locate your hotel room. âI told you before, you need to work on your powers.â
âDonât worry, I felt your cloud of pure bliss when I entered the elevator.â You learned very early on that appearing omnipotent to your surroundings didnât generally put people at ease.
Ben forced a smile on his face. âYouâre hilarious. Did you hear the news already?â
âJudging by your reaction, I can guess which one you meant. Or did another happy event occur which I should know about?â At last, you arrived at your destination when you opened the door to your room and unceremoniously tried to swing it shut behind you.
Ben frowned darkly when he caught it, following after you.
Your eyes wandered over to him, perplexed by his need to continue the conversation. Ben was truly baffling sometimes for calling himself a lone wolf who didnât need people. Dramatically, you swung your arms around to invite him to your living space.
âWhy donât you enter? Have a seat? Get a drink while youâre at it?â
Almost like accepting the invitation, the mocking undertone ignored for the moment, Ben sat on your made bed. âI mean, getting married? What the hell?â
You grabbed a few clothes from the wardrobe before going into the bathroom to change into them, yet keeping the door slightly ajar.
Feeling like he was being ignored, Ben approached the adjoining wall connecting you. âThe apocalypse is right at our door and weâre celebrating a damn wedding?â
âYou mean the wedding of your sister? You have to relax with that âI canât stop until Iâm at the topâ mindset,â you grumbled in a low voice to imitate Benâs. âLife doesnât have to be about missions and constant success.â
âThat doesnât sound anything like me,â Ben grunted. His focus intensified when he heard your clothes rustle as you changed into them. He furrowed his brows, like his attentions focused on what you were doing. âWhere are you going?â
âKind of in a hurry. Going dress shopping with your sister.â
With pursed lips, Ben nodded unwittingly. âNice to know someone is so damn likable. Having a bachelorette party?â
âItâs a two-way street with us. Sloane is a sweet one and maybe Iâm just fun to be around. And itâs not that much of a bachelorette party but âŚâ
Ben felt something soothing stroking his skin.
âWhy donât you just talk to Luther?â
He snorted, crossing his arms. âWhat makes you think I care about a stupid bachelor party?â
You stepped out of the bathroom after you had changed into looser clothing to adapt to the Kugelblitz absorbing everything around it and with the world going literally up in flames.
âThereâs no need to pretend with me, Ben. Maybe you shouldnât spend time with the person who can feel everything youâre feeling.â You chose to remind him of that little tidbit since he seemed to want to linger within his blissful ignorance. It felt strange that Ben felt safe in confiding in you when he didnât even like people.
âLuther is just a guy who wants to enjoy his wedding and wants to spend time with the people who care about him.â You implored vehemently, facing Ben again.
With a sarcastic air, Ben scoffed. âSo sorry to disappoint that Iâm nothing like your precious Ben.â
âYou think youâre nothing like him? Sure, youâre way more eager to please daddy dearest. And thereâs such a-â Your hands strained around his head in frustration while grunting. Sometimes, Benâs whole aura compelled you to choke him or at least shake him profusely until some sense would barge into his head. âDark cloud of wrath surrounding you, itâs insane.â
âYou can fool anyone, your family or anyone else. That you donât want anyone to see that you have goodness inside you. But hereâs the thing: it doesnât matter who youâre not.â You exhaled heavily.
âYouâre Ben Hargreeves from the Sparrow Academy. Or whatâs left of it. And Iâm here for this Ben. I might want to get to know this guy.â You smiled endearingly, knowing that getting to a stubborn Ben Hargreeves proved harder than youâd expect.
Ben calmly stared at you. He pensively licked his lips before quietly admitting with a hoarse voice, âStop making me like you.â
You tilted your head, smiling softly. âWhy is that such a bad thing?â
âBecause I donât need-â Ben pointed between you and him. âThis.â
Well, great. You were dealing with an emotionally stunted Sparrow.
âPeople are literally dying. Either do something about wanting to be a part of something or donât.â
Ben shook his head, steeling himself. âMaybe you should work on those powers of yours. You think you know me so well, huh? Because you have no idea who I am.â
His solitude was all-encompassing. How alone he truly felt. After some time you could understand how it could deceive you into feeling like it was a comforting blanket.
âI know youâre the guy who needs people at his side. I know I havenât said it before, but ⌠Iâm sorry about Fei and ⌠you know, Christopher.â Although that grief wasnât as profound, you could sense that on some level Ben cared. At least, Fei had something fascinating about her even if she tried to kill you with her crow powers.
At the memento of his familyâs death or absorption into the black hole, Benâs features darkened. âDonât. Donât pretend to care.â
âSorry to disappoint then. This is all I can offer.â You shrugged. âSomeone has to say it. You know, if someone hasnât yet.â
Ben leaned forward until you could admire how utterly black his eyes looked. His wrath was wafting in dark smoke around his figure. âWhat makes you think I care about what you have to say?â
You felt so drained. âThen wh- You know what? Fine. End of the world and all that.â You twirled your finger in the air. âDo what you want.â Your hands made a cutting gesture. âI get to decide how I spend my energy. Just close the door behind you. And, just so you know, Iâll know when you steal something.â
You pointed at Ben threateningly before closing the door behind you.
Benâs voice reverberated through the threshold. âWhy would I steal your stuff?â
You leaned back in the chair, enjoying the taste of champagne in your mouth with the sensation of luxury. âYou know, this is actually really nice,â you called out, trying to reach Sloane while she was changing into her dream dress.
You stretched out your legs, trying to relax. âJust us girls, having fun together. No baggage. No worries.â At the memory of impending doom, your eyes widened. âFor now at least.â
Standing in the corner of the wedding store, Lila was curiously browsing through the clothes hangers and continued for you, âNo annoying boyfriends.â
Through the curtain, Sloane added, âNothing else to do but try out these gorgeous dresses.â With that, she stepped outside in a high-collared wedding dress.
Seeing her in all her glory, Lila and you hollered in delight.
âYou look hot.â Lila draped her leg over your armrest to reach over and pop a small cupcake into her mouth in one go.
You merely raised your glass in silent agreement.
Sloane admired herself in the mirror while swishing with her dress. Disappointment laced her voice when she mused, âAllison couldâve been here.â
âI mean, I couldâve truly convinced her if I wanted her to and make her have fun, but thatâs like half the fun.â You poured more liquid into your flute. âAllison wants to hold on to that anger of hers, fine. And just so you know,â you paused. With your glass hanging in the air, you couldnât help saying out loud, âIâm tired. I donât have the energy for it.â
âI could have tried my hand at that,â Lila retorted confidently.
You eyed her dubiously. âAre you sure about that?â
Lila shrugged, exhaling. âYouâre probably right. Donât think I want to get inside Allisonâs head.â Her body shuddered at the thought of copying your empathetic power before her mood switched when she patted your leg. âGotta rush to the loo real quick.â
You chuckled deeply. âYour cupcakes will still remain here,â you promised wholeheartedly.
Silently, Lila pointed a finger in warning at you. You merely observed her retreating form with knowing eyes.
Sloane continued watching herself in the mirror when she bit her lip while brushing the garment. You cleared your throat when you felt the stroking happening under the skin again.
âSomething you want to ask me?â Your eyes met Sloaneâs through the reflection.
âHave you talked to Ben yet?â
You chuckled at the mention of her brother, groaning loudly. âDid I tell you Iâm tired already?â
Sloane smiled ruefully. âHe took up all your energy?â The following heavy sigh perfectly encapsulated how it felt like to describe someone like him. âBen, heâs, I think he has so much potential to be something more.â
Silently, you raised your eyebrows before adding, âAre you trying to tell me something I donât already know?â
âHe seems different around you.â
âYou mean more intense? Are you trying rationalize him?â
Sloane chuckled while shaking her head. âI think you terrify him.â
âThank you. Thatâs the biggest compliment anyone has ever given me,â you said sarcastically before emptying your glass. âYou know, Iâm over my bad boy phase.â
Excitedly, Sloane turned to gaze directly at you. âWait, so youâre saying youâre into my brother?â
You shook your head vehemently at the mere insinuation while groaning. Not opening that can of worms.
âUgh, nope, no. Not doing that. Iâm not talking about your brother while youâre looking like a million bucks. Besides, today is about you.â You stood up with a coy smile, waving your hand at the mirage that was Sloaneâs body.
âDamn right, it is.â Lila magically appeared to agree. âAre we coming to a decision?â
A sigh of deep regret exhaled from Sloaneâs lips. âI think itâs going to be dress number one. What can I say? I liked trying on all these dresses.â She gushed while eyeing Lila and you. âAnd the company.â
âArenât you a doll,â Lila replied softly.
âYes, Luther and you really deserve each other.â
You were wearing your long-sleeved golden dress when you entered the banquet hall. Despite the time crunch, everything was set up quite beautifully. With the lighting making everything appear almost intimately. You were getting some prom vibes with the balloons and the retro flair, but you didnât feel like judging them for the quick setting up.
Luther joined you near the entrance, smiling warmly. âFashionably late?â
You shrugged shyly. âAs always.â
âHow are you feeling?â Like when you were still kids, Luther patted your hair soothingly, making you feel all warm inside. Knowing how overwhelmed you could get with big events, or as big as they could get with the Kugelblitz absorbing people.
âDonât worry, Iâd prefer a wedding over a funeral.â You smiled warmly, staring up at him with pride. âLook at you, big guy. Canât believe youâre getting hitched,â you said, playfully nudging his shoulder with your knuckles.
You felt the stirring sensation again. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Ben standing in the distance with Allison, sending you an inscrutable expression. Not exactly a scowl on his face, but still something dark remained while he was leaning with his crossed arms against the wall.
Lutherâs positive energy pulled you back. He shared a beaming smile at you. âItâs really happening, huh,â he mused, burying his gloved hands in his trouser pockets. âSloane told me you went dress shopping with her. I really appreciate you taking the time to get to know her.â
âWell, kinda already did that almost a week ago.â After seeing Lutherâs blank expression, you continued, âWhen we were abducted?â
âRight. Feels so long ago.â
âAt least our little get-together with Sloane was kinda fun. A small reprieve from the chaotic mess of everything.â
Luther nodded. âI feel you.â He was getting all jittery before he even said the next part. âGod, I canât wait to be married. Iâll see you outside.â
After a very emotional wedding ceremonyâalso because of Klausâ flamboyant theatricsâLuther and Sloane were finally husband and wife. Watching them bask in their wedding dance was slowly getting to your sentimental vibes, you realized. Wanting them to have their moment, you joined the table of Klaus and Ben with your cocktail.
â⌠ridiculously easy to love,â Klaus finished with a fond presence.
âAm I interrupting a heartfelt moment?â You softly asked before filling the seat at Klausâ side and taking a hearty gulp.
âBeautiful Y/N, join us! Weâre reminiscing.â Klaus gushed with absolute joy, throwing his arms around your middle. With a quiet murmur, he whispered to himself, âI think thatâs the word. Oh, dadâs holding a speech.â Klaus jumped from his seat.
âDid you know our Y/N loves seafood?â Klaus whispered like he was sharing a secret with Ben. His gaze switched over to yours. âBe a dear and keep sullen Ben company,â he said before sauntering away without a care in the world.
Blinking slowly, Benâs words were uttered just as slowly. Like choosing them carefully. âYour dress is really ⌠golden.â
âWow.â You nodded to yourself, with a smile. âAnd youâre very drunk.â
Benâs gaze wandered around. âEveryoneâs leaving. Even Sloane prefers that big walking ape.â
âSheâs not leaving. Your sister just found something else she liked more.â
âYou mean liked doing more,â Ben mumbled tauntingly.
You had to restrain from barfing at the idea of your brother having sex. As much as a drunk Ben was kinda hilarious. âOh, thatâs gross, Ben,â you said, trying to stop yourself from laughing.
A solemn sigh exhaled from your lips. âYou didnât ask Luther, did you?â You asked knowingly.
Benâs shoulders almost appeared too heavy for him to lift when he shrugged them carelessly. âI donât get an invite and dad just gets to show up to this wedding. What does it matter?â
Ben mindlessly fiddled with the small straw in his drink. The speeches were over for now and people started mingling on the dance floor.
âI think it does to you. How people see you. To be liked. Makes you endearing in a way. We all just want to be accepted for who we are.â
Ben supported his chin with his hand in a casual manner, or at least tried to, when he missed it by a few inches. Instead, he held up the side of his head with his whole palm while observing you through bleary eyes.
âWhy are you being so nice to me?â He mumbled quietly.
It was moments like these when Ben revealed stuff like this which broke your heart. âAre you not used to this experience?â
âI donât understand you,â he mumbled. âSometimes you make it really hard not to like you.â
Inwardly, you felt bliss fill you up at the unexpected compliment coming from someone like him. Even if that little confession delighted you, your concern for his inebriated state was higher.
âEasy there, buckaroo. Maybe you should have more shrimps. Or at least some bread,â you advised, sliding over a glass filled with grissini. âSomeone is quite a talker when theyâre drunk, huh?â
âSomeone cares about my well-being.â With a sing-song voice, Ben taunted and smirked cheekily.
You smiled wistfully, almost bittersweetly. âYou know what I think?â You paused, intuitively envisioning a possible future scenario. âI tell you how tonightâs gonna go down. Youâll have fun, lose all your inhibitions. Because you didnât have to try so hard to be number one. Or be the best at everything.â
Speaking slowly, you added, âTomorrow, youâre going to wake up, with all your guards up again. No longer chummy with the people around you. And a part of you is going to regret ever being this real version of yourself. All adorable and sweet.â
Ben chuckled suavely. âYou calling me sweet? You know what I think?â He took up the empty seat of Klaus, almost toppling over with the effort. âYouâre secretly into me.â
You rolled your eyes at Benâs ability to feed his own ego. With a satisfied smile, you turned it back on him. âAnd you actually like that thought.â
âOh, you think youâre so smart.â
âWhoa, dĂŠjĂ vu.â
âOkay, then tell me what I want.â Ben smirked confidently, waving to himself.
âItâs been a long time since someone dared me for a party favor.â Trying to keep him in suspense for a bit longer, you bit your lip and tilted your head in mock speculation. But then you whispered conspiratorially, âYou want me to dance with you, Ben Hargreeves.â
Blowing air through his mouth, Ben groaned. âThatâs what you think? Is this how you get guysâwith that little technique?â He twirled his finger in your direction.
You arched your eyebrows. âThen tell me Iâm wrong.â
He snorted. âIâm not falling for that trick.â
âMaybe. But now Iâm in your head, Hargreeves,â you sang tauntingly before laughter sprang free. âCome on, itâs just one night to let loose.â
You stood up, beckoning him closer while walking backwards towards the dance floor. âI promise, tomorrow you can pretend to be the asshole again. Just have some fun for a night.â
âWe canât all be Little Miss Sunshine.â
You snorted loudly at that description. If anything, as an Empath, you were almost an antithesis to the preconceived notion of an all-caring and always-happy disposition.
âOnly you would think that. Come on, Benny-boo. Show me those dance moves of yours.â
âYouâre a bad influence,â he mumbled before he gobbled down another shrimp. Ben reached for you and energetically spun you in a circle until your fingers held onto his chest for stability.
âStop calling me by that name,â he whispered, only for your ears to hear.
You let go of Ben, sending him a smoldering gaze over your shoulder. âWhy donât you make me?â You mocked, strolling over to the bride to dance with her and watched as he joined the fray reluctantly, but no less swayed.
âYou owe me,â he mouthed.
In the end, you chose to ignore his little warning by teasingly shrugging your shoulders. âI canât hear you.â
One hangover later ⌠for Ben
âDid someone ever tell you, you look cute when youâre trying to fall asleep in an upright position?â
You watched in fascination how your words jolted Ben awake while he was leaning against the elevator wall, with his shirt pulled halfway down his muscled torso.
âExcellent workout routine, by the way.â You felt obliged to mention.
Ben grunted, rubbing his cheeks to awaken his senses even more. At the hint, he pulled his shirt down the rest of the way. âWhy is Karma coming after me so hard?â
You stepped inside the elevator and pressed the button for the lobby for show, since Ben didnât even select a button when he entered.
âItâs not Karma, Ben. Itâs a literal hangover.â
Feeling a heated stare linger on you, your eyes met Benâs whose blinking eyes tried to focus on you. With his arms crossed, his shoulder leaned against the other wall. âThen why do you look so pretty?â
You teasingly nudged his shoulder. âAww, Ben Hargreeves, what a charmer. My body works in mysterious ways.â
Comfortable silence hung in the air the longer the elevator traveled to its intended destination.
âYou know, your brother is a dick.â Finally, Ben decided to end the quiet.
You pursed your lips when several people who fitted that description entered your mind. Especially with a wedding in the past and many lowered inhibitions.
âUh⌠which one are we talking about? Youâre checking a lot of boxes right now.â
âKlaus,â Ben enunciated with every fiber of his being.
You nodded, comprehending their cautious bond. During the previous night, Klaus and Ben proved to be the tightest of bosom buddies. The fallout was unfortunate. Ben didnât have a lot of people in his life. Most of your family would rather label him as Not-Ben in their heads instead of getting to know him as his own person.
So, yes, your family could be dicks sometimes.
âWell, heâs trying. The former Ben and him were like the closest for years.â You recalled fondly. Deciding to cheer Ben up a bit, you remarked playfully, âJudging by last night, you two were up to some wild shenanigans.â
Ben reached for your arm. âWait. What happened last night?â
Chuckling, you shook your head. Almost impressed with last nightâs Ben. âYou were something else last night. I mean, you were just showing off with your tentacles. They were like really touch-starved. How are they even feeling after that spectacle?â
âCome again?â
The doors opened before you could divulge more. âUh, you might want to check your shirt again. Itâs still backwards. See you at the breakfast buffet.â
âThis conversation isnât over.â Ben exclaimed with great ardor before the doors shut again.

E like enigma
Written for the @steddieholidaydrabbles August warm-up round. Prompt: college AU.
Rated: G
CW: none
Tags: Secret admirer, not actually unrequited love, no UD AU
"Oooh," Robin croons and hands him a book from the stack of returns. "You've got another!"
"Oh yeah?"Â
Steve's stomach does a funny little flip, but he tries to keep his tone casual. He fails. Knows it. Knows that she knows he tried, and knows he failed. Robin wiggles her eyebrows suggestively.Â
"C'mon, have a look! What does it say?"Â
Steve steals a glance at the part of the college library that's visible from their desk. As is to be expected on a Friday night, there aren't many people around. Just some students frantically studying for exams or pouring over last-minute papers. Â
Robin nudges him impatiently. He sighs and flips the book open.
The name scrawled at the bottom of the lending card in narrow, scratchy handwriting is the same as always.Â
E. MunsonÂ
As always, there's a sheet of cheap notebook paper tucked next to it, folded in half.Â
The first time this happened, Steve didnât put much meaning to it. Students will use all kinds of things as bookmarks. Candy wrappers, restaurant bills, hell, even a condom wrapper on one particularly noteworthy occasion. (Robin gagged so hard at that one she had to excuse herself to the staff room for a solid ten minutes.)Â
So, the first time he emptied the returns box and found a note in one of the books, he assumed E. Munson had simply forgotten to take it out.
There was a little heart doodled on it, and the words Youâre really cute underneath. It had to be from E.'s girlfriend or boyfriend, surely. Steve wondered if they'd miss it.
Ever since, the notes have gotten more specific and, lately, more and more frequent. Some will compliment his hair or his clothes or his smile. Those make him preen a little, even though he denies it to Robinâs grinning face. Others are soft and thoughtful, telling him to drink enough water when it's hot outside, or asking if he's resting enough when he's stressing over exams. Those make him feel a different kind of happy - all warm and fuzzy and light.Â
The books with the notes only ever show up on Steveâs shifts, and only ever in the returns box. Whoever E. Munson is, they're pretty damn sneaky.Â
They're also driving Steve low-key insane. Because the notes are lovely, don't get him wrong. He kind of already has his eyes on someone else, though. Even if it's silly, even if he's sure nothing will come of it âŚ
Robin is looking like she's about to explode with anticipation, so he sighs and folds the note open.Â
Wanna take you out for drinks after your shift. Meet me at the back entrance?Â

The back entrance is illuminated only by one dim streetlight and he is a little sorry he turned down Robin's offer of standing guard around the corner. There's a lonely figure standing just outside the keg of light, smoking a cigarette and-Â
"Oh. Hi, Eddie."Â
Eddie looks up at him and his face breaks into a delighted, dimpled smile. And maybe it's the lamplight or the foggy air of the early fall afternoon, but his face looks uncharacteristically soft.Â
"Steve, hey. Hoped you'd show up."
"Y-yeah?" Steve stutters, stomach swooping with something that's half joy and half horror.Â
See, the thing is, he likes Eddie. They're majoring in different subjects, so they've only had two or three classes together. Hell, he doesnât even know the guy's last name.Â
They've talked a few times, though. Maybe even flirted a bit.Â
But he has no delusions about this turning into anything more. The flirting and the furtive glances over the tops of textbooks are one thing, but there's no way that Eddie - with his rings and his leather and his chains and his unruly mop of dark curls that Steve itches to bury his hands in - would actually be into preppy ex-jocks in pastel colored polos.
Still, Steve can't help but feel drawn in by Eddieâs quick wit and smart mouth, that bold bark of a laugh. Not to mention his smile. How the corners of his eyes crinkle with it. How it makes a gentleness poke through that intimidating facade that Steve would like to learn more about.Â
He's smiling like that now, and Steve feels his heartbeat quicken and has to bite back a curse. Just his luck that Eddie would show up now, of all times. Now that the mysterious note writer is actually making their move and Steve has decided to try and give them a chance.Â
"Erm, listen man âŚ" he starts to say. The collar of his sweater is suddenly too scratchy and too warm on his skin, so he reaches up to tug at it.Â
Eddie hums and the smoke of his cigarette mingles with the fog.Â
"Yellow suits you, yâknow? You should wear it more."Â
And shit, if that isn't exactly what one of the notes said, only last week. Steve screws his eyes shut and heaves an aggravated sigh.Â
"Yeah, thanks. Listen, I'm sorry Eddie, I really am, but this is kind of a bad time? I'm meeting someone here and-"Â
"Ah, the elusive E., right?"
Steve nods. "Right. They'll probably show up any-"Â
And wait.Â
Wait.Â
Hold on a goddamn, motherfucking second.Â
He never told Eddie about the notes.Â
When he opens his eyes to gawk at Eddie, that smile has turned about one-hundred-and-twenty-three percent more smug.Â
"How do you âŚ?" he starts to say.Â
One of Eddieâs eyebrows disappears under his fringe.Â
"Steve?"Â
"Yeah?"Â
There's a beat of silence. Something slots into place, and-Â
"Oh."Â
They both snort matching laughs as Eddie swoops into a bow and offers his hand.Â
"Eddie Munson, at your service. Now, are you still game for those drinks?"Â
Steve is.Â
The next time Eddie slips a note into his returns, he drops the books off in person.Â

I love love love your writing! You are so talented.
Keeping up with the dark kidnapping theme, can you please write a bit where the lead is a really dedicated student, maybe for med school, and is heartbroken beyond belief because they think Steven/Marc wonât allow them to continue studying now that theyâre basically captive (of course they allow her so itâs can be comforting and maybe turn smutty đ) thank you! â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
ANONY PLEASE- I...I AM MELTING RN!â¤ď¸ Please let me give you hugs and kissesđĽš

Sorry for no smut. I couldn't find any right moment. :(
It was already late, you and a few others stayed after class to study at the library in your school. It was already getting dark, you increased your speed because you had to use the toilet, but luckily on your way home, you always walked past the Museum. You saw the security guard at the entrance and made your way over.
"Excuse me? Is the Museum still open? I'm in need of a toilet." you asked in a friendly tone with a smile.
The guard returned the friendly gesture. "Yes, Ma'am. But you have to ask the receptionist, since the toilets were getting cleaned and he can tell you if the janitor's done."
"Thank you, sir. Have a good night." You smiled, stepping inside the Museum, spotting the guy behind the glass.
As you approached, he looked like he was watching something on his phone, it looked like Otter videos. He didn't seem to notice you, so you cleared your throat to get his attention. The guy snapped back to reality, turning to look at you with a surprised smile.
"Oh! May I help you?"
You smiled. "Yes are the toilets free?"
The guy turned to look at the security cameras showing the toilets. "Yep, they're free. They're freshly cleaned." he flashed a grin.
You smiled, gave him a thumbs up and rushed to the toilets. After being done with your business, you pulled out your phone to get a look on the time. Almost midnight. You cursed under your breath, speeding up a bit. When you turned a corner, not paying attention, someone bumped into you with a force, causing you to fall on the ground.
"Oh shit! Oh bollocks, I'm so sorry."
Looking up, you saw a man standing there, his hair was a bit messy and he looked concerned. "It's okay, I'm not dead."
"Here let me help you up." He extended his hand out for you.
You accepted it, letting him pull you up with relative ease. "Thanks."
"You alright?" He asked.
"Yes, no big deal." you gave a small smile.
"I'm Steven. Sorry again." He smiled curtly, dusting off your shoulders and back, his hand lingering there for a second longer.
"It's alright, Steven." You smiled, waving it off.
"Good, for a second there I thought you broke a bone." Steven said nervously.
You smiled reassuringly, "I'm fine. But I gotta go now, it's getting late."
Steven nodded undestandingly. "Alright, take care."
You gave him a last smile before walking off, not noticing Steven looking after you like he had gotten lovestruck.
After leaving the Museum to continue your walk home, you pulled your earphones out, shoved them into your ears and listened to a medical podcast while walking.
Meanwhile Steven just finished his shift, his thoughts drifting back to you. His tired mind driving him nuts sometimes, he wished he could see you again. Marc noticed, they couldn't read eachothers mind but seeing how Steven was acting after he bumped into you, he figured it out quickly.
*Wanna see her again, Steven?*
Steven stopped infront of a store, looking at the glass to catch Marc's reflection. "Yeah. I dunno why I'm like that."
*Luckily I have an idea.*
"What is it?"
*A bad one.*
-
You, almost back home, fished your keys out as you neared your house. With your earphones still in your ears, you didn't hear the steps behind you. Just as you pulled them out and put them back in their case, a hand with a cloth came down on your mouth, followed by an arm wrapping around your body to hold you in place. You tried kicking the person into their shin, but they swiftly slung their foot around yours to stop it. A sweet smell entered your nostrils, letting you know you were about to get knocked out with Chloroform as you used to work with it in medical school. You tried to hold your breath as long as possible, while flipping your keys between two fingers and tried to stab the hand covering your mouth, you tried to take as less breaths as possible. As the keys hit the hand, a grunt could be heard and the person let go of your waist to grab your hand, giving a harsh squeeze to make you drop the keys. You felt yourself getting weak, you were about to pass out but in a last attempt, you tried catching the keys, the keyring got wrapped around your middle finger and you weakly tried hitting the person's head, but your hits were so weak, it didn't even had an effect.
You slowly slumped down, too tired to do anything else. Your body surrendered and you began blacking out.
-
Slowly, you came back to your senses, your eyes fluttering open. You felt as if gotten hit by a truck. You were laying on a bed, you took a second to look around, it looked like some sort of an apartment. In your numb state, you rolled over to the edge of the bed. Just as you moved your body weight and were about to sling your legs out, something tugged on your ankle, causing you to loose balance and land on the wooden floor. Supporting yourself on your hands and pulling back up on the bed, you looked back, seeing an ankle restraint around your foot.
"Shit..." you groaned, sitting up to try and remove it. Either you couldn't figure out on how to unlock restraints or you were simply too lightheaded, you just couldn't get that damn thing off.
"Stupid little-"
Suddenly you heard a sound coming from the door, you snapped your head towards it, seeing it open. You froze, eyes wide as you saw the person entering.
It was Steven. He caught you trying to get the restraint off. "Don't know how to get it off, yeah?"
"You?! The museum guy?!"
"I'm afraid so."
"Did I vandalize the toilet or why did you kidnap me?"
"No- no.. it's uh, it's a bit more complicated.."
"You're going to kill me...?"
Steven frowned. "What? Why are you saying that, no one is going to murder you."
"Well, I thought I would die when you were knocking me out!"
"You were putting up a bit of a fight.."
"Yeah because people don't run around kidnapping people like they're some fucking serial killer!"
"You're in shock, try calming down, I'll get you some cold water." Steven made his way to the kitchen, returning to you with iced water.
"Here, drink this, it will help you calm down."
Hesistantly, you reached out taking the glass, getting some sips.
"You should try getting some sleep." Steven said gently, taking your glass and putting it on the nightstand.
"Can you atleast remove the restraint please?"
Steven nodded. "Fine, but don't try anything." he warned softly before releasing your ankle from the restraint.
"Thanks." You smiled before laying back down on the bed. Steven pulled the covers over your shoulders, tucking you in gently.
As soon as he goes to sleep you'll make your move.
"Get some sleep, we will talk more in the morning. If y' need somethin', just call out for me." Steven smiled, patting your head.
With that, Steven retreated into his room, leaving you to catch some sleep.
While you laid there, your hands went to your pockets for your phone but it has been snatched from you. Out of pure curiosity, you opened the nightstand drawer in hopes of finding your phone. Nothing.
To make sure Steven would go to sleep, you waited couple of minutes. Slowly, you sat up on the bed, looking around one last time before getting up, you spotted your shoes beside the bed, slipped them on and carefully tiptoed to the door. Your instincts were screaming at you to just make a run for it. But instead, you chose the safe way, making your way slowly to the door. You noticed Steven didn't lock the door, only used the small chain. You shoved it open and carefully pulled the door handle down, praying it won't be locked.
Luckily, the door was unlocked. Pushing the door open you realized how easy it was for you to get out, almost too easy. Taking a look out, you saw some other apartments. You must be in an apartment building. You tiptoed out, pushing your luck and knocking on the last door at the floor. Knocking softly three times, the door didn't open.
You sighed, and made your way to the elevator but still trying to keep your guard up.
Inside the elevator you pressed the button to the first floor, waiting for it to descent.
Finally arrived, the doors opened. You stepped out and quickly rushed out of the building. Looking around you couldn't made out where you are, and the darkness made it worse. Without your phone you had trouble to find your way home, but you started walking down the sideway, hoping to find some help.
After walking for what felt like an eternity, you finally spotted someone, a man walking opposite from your side. Without thinking you ran over to him.
"Hey! I need help!"
The man turned to you, confused. "Miss? You okay?"
"I've been kidnapped! He took my phone, can you call the police?" You were a bit panicing.
"Absolutely, stay close to me." The man assured, leading you into a nearby alleyway for cover. As the man pulled his phone out, you looked around frantically.
In the corner of your eyes, you noticed a shadow, followed by two white glowing dots in the distance. That got your attention, you saw someone in a white bandage-like suit, two white glowing dots were covering the eyes and the person had a bandage mask. You could see him raising his arm as if ready to throw something.
"Hey! Watch out!" You warned the man as something very fast whipped past you, slicing your savior's shoulder, making him drop his phone.
Looking back, you flinched as you saw the bandage man came running towards you. You jumped out of his way, but he wasn't going for you, he was aiming for the poor man who just wanted to save you.
The guy in the costume grabbed the man by his throat with one hand, lifting him up and slowly pulling him close.
You took some steps back but you didn't want someone innocent get hurt just because you got kidnapped. So you tried acting up.
"Hey! Let him go! You're after me huh? Then come and get me!"
The guy in the costume looked at you with his white glowing eyes before turning back to your savior, speaking to him in a deep growl.
"She. Belongs. To us."
With that he swiftly threw the poor man on some trash bags next to him and turning to face you.
You wasted no time, picking up a pipe on the ground and ran as fast as you could. The steps behind you were getting louder and louder with each step. Stopping quickly and turning around, you got into an defence stance with the pipe, ready to beat the shit out of him if you had too.
But the guy simply reached for his chest, pulling another dart out. You squeezed your eyes shut as he threw the dart at you, but it didn't hit you, it just sliced the pipe you had in two.
He made his way to you, causing you to drop the remains in your hand.
"Whoa, wait." You stepped back, raising your hands in surrender but as he reached you he simply ducked down, slung an arm around your legs and picked you up as if you weighed nothing, throwing you over his shoulder.
"Let me go!" You hit the back of his head with your palm but that guy didn't even react to it, he ignored your protests.
"Stop struggling if you want the easy way. Try me and it's gonna be the worse way." He threatened.
You just gave up, letting him carry you back to the apartment you tried to escape. Back inside, he bent and dropped you off on the bed. "Now you better behave or all four limbs will get restrained."
"Who are you? The bodyguard of Steven?"
"Something like that."
He went to the room you saw Steven going in earlier and soon after, Steven came out.
"Why did you do that?" He asked, half disappointed, half concerned.
"I have a life if you haven't noticed."
Steven sighed. "We will take care of you now, no need for anything else."
"I am attending medical school."
He gave a nod. "You don't need to go there anymore. We just sign you off."
"Are you fucking serious? No, I love it there, I love studying medicine."
"I can understand that, I have something similar, but for now, you won't go there."
You let out a sigh, which almost sounded like a whine.
Steven's expression softened. "Look, you go to sleep now, you had a rough day, and we talk more in the morning."
"Fine."
"And please don't try to escape again or else he will hunt you down again and you won't like it." Steven gave a soft warning glance before he went back to his room.
You sighed, getting under the covers. Your mind was racing with thoughts but eventually, you fell into a deep sleep.
A good few hours later you felt more relaxed, wondering if you just had the most fucked up fever dream, and when your eyes opened, confirming this was not a dream, you rubbed your face, letting out an defeated groan.
Looking for a clock, you spotted one hanging on the wall, it was the time where you should already be at the medical school. You grumbled, sitting up, your eyes landing on a fish tank where a single goldfish was swimming around. Padding over to him, making sure to stay silent as if to not trigger the white mummy man to appear out of nowhere again.
"Hi fishy, you hungry?" Reaching for the fish food, you poured some into it, watching as he munched them down.
A sound came from within Steven's room, causing you to tense up. The door opened, he stepped out, yawning softly and rubbing his eyes when he spotted you.
"You awake already?" You noticed his voice was deeper.
"Is that your sleepy voice?" You asked curious.
"What?" He asked, sounding like genuinely confused on why you asked that but he didn't want to stick on it, resuming his way towards the bathroom.
Hearing the water running, you sat back on the bed, waiting until he returned.
"Hey uh, can I have my phone back? Please?"
He came back, scratching the back of his hand. "Oh you want it back, hm? Sorry but we won't risk you calling the cops."
"What if I promise to not call them?"
"Why don't you tell me what you wanna do?"
"Listening to podcasts. You know, for my medical study?"
His eyebrows arched up, not buying it. "If you're going to listen to podcasts then I'm the Liberty statue."
"Come on! I'll listen with earphones!" You pouted.
"Even better." He joked, making his way to the kitchen.
To be honest, you were pissed. Really pissed. He came back a while later with a bowl of cereals, setting it down on the nightstand.
"You should eat. You say you attend medical school, so I guess they'd taught you something about the value of breakfast."
"I'll eat. But can I atleast read a book?"
"Of course, they're in that corner over there." He pointed towards the corner with a desk and shelf filled with books.
"Thanks." You nodded in satisfaction, reaching for the bowl to start eating.
"Listen, I'll be gone later for a while. You stay put, and I will consider giving you back your phone tonight, understood?"
"Deal." You agreed.
"Very good." He smiled.
You spent the rest of the morning eating breakfast and doing some quick naps in between. Shortly before afternoon came, Steven got ready to head out. His soft voice was back.
"Heyia, need something before I go?" He asked, putting his bag over his shoulder.
You sat up on the bed. "I think I'm fine, but can I leave for a quick stop at a store?" you tried pushing your luck.
"Definitely not." He scolded lightly.
"Okay. Can you get me a book? I was learning how different medicines affect the body and I wasn't finished."
Steven thought for a second, giving a warm smile. "Sure, I'll try finding one."
"Thanks." You gave a weak smile in return before he left, leaving you alone in his apartment.
A small part of you thought about trying to escape again, but you didn't wanted to get literally chased down by that mummy man. You spent the rest of the day looking through the book corner. Looks like some passion for Egypt.
Before you knew it, the day was almost over and the door opened.
"I got the book you wanted." Somehow, Steven managed to get the deep voice back.
You walked over to him. "Are you able to change your voice?" you couldn't help but ask.
He gave a puzzled expression. "Excuse me?"
"You had the same deep tone when you woke up today, then before you left your tone was light and now it's deep again."
"Oh... that's a long story."
He handed you the book, you thought that maybe this Steven had a condition.
Either way, you snatched it out of his hand, flopped down on the couch and began reading.
At one point, he sat down on the couch next to you with a mug of coffee in his hand.
"Will you tell me the story?"
"You really want to hear it?"
"Yes. Really." You nodded curiously.
He took a deep breath. "Alright. I'm not Steven."
"Ah, you must be a twin then?"
He laughed softly. "Nope. I am Marc. And I have DID."
"Oh.. the condition?"
Marc nodded.
"And Steven is your other personality?"
"Yeah."
"Is he the only one?" You asked gently.
"As far as I know, yes."
"I'm sorry." You said with sincere concern.
"Nah, it's okay. Steven and I get along smoothly."
As curious as you were, your brain itched to know how Marc got the condition.
"May I ask how you got..." You paused, watching his reaction.
"Of course." He had a gentle smile.
Marc told you about his past, his childhood, how he developed DID and shared how he was the one in those white bandages and it was actually called Moon Knight.
By the end of the day, you started liking them, telling them about yourself in return. Later, as you went to bed, Steven came back to check on you.
"Hello. Marc said you're getting comfortable around us, yeah?"
"Yes." You smiled warmly.
Steven was beaming with joy. "And how's your studying?"
"Thanks for the book, I will take my time with it."
"That's good to hear, and as a reward, you'll have your phone back." He reached into his pocket and got your phone out, handing it to you.
"Thank you!" You beamed.
Steven was about to go back into his room when you stopped him. "Hey Steven? Wanna listen to podcasts with me? I can even tell you some things." you scooted back in the bed, sitting against the headboard and patted the spot next to you.
"Sounds lovely!" Steven agreed, sitting down next to you.
That night, you explained some things said in the podcasts, Steven was the most patient listener while Marc occasionally fronted to make a bit fun here and there. Halfway through, you ended up drifting off on Steven's shoulder, knowing Marc and Steven will take care of you while you could continue with studying.

Caine flusters you to death idk
^ The exact file name on my computer, by the way.
This is an SFW tickle fic! Don't read if you don't like it. Also shout out to the three different references to the TADC fan song "No Exit" that I put in here :]
2,571 words.
I paced angrily out of the main room in the tent, hands curled into fists at my sides as I left my fellow circus members behind. There were no words that could describe how frustrated I was, how confused, and, though Iâd never admit it, how scared. My eye twitched at the familiar sound of a long coat flapping behind me.
âLeave me alone, Caineâ, I snapped, continuing towards my room. The floating ring master was not so easily deterred and continued after me, however, keeping up with no effort.
âCome on, (Y/N), it was just one time! I know you donât like the dark, but-â
âCorrection.â I spun on my heels to face him, becoming even more annoyed with the way he loomed above me in superiority. âI hate the dark. There is nothing I hate more than the dark. And what did you do?â I crossed my arms and looked at him expectantly. He blinked as he stared at me, a few seconds passing, as if he had to process that I was actually demanding an answer from him.
âIt was an adventure for everyone!â He immediately defended himself, still in that jovial tone he used to announce everything. âNot everyone is going to agree on what type of adventure they want to go on-â
âAnything! Anything else!â I threw my hands up in exasperation as he looked shocked that I had cut him off. âAnything but a power outage! I canât even begin to tell you how horrifying that entire experience was!â I made drastic hand motions at him as I rambled angrily, his hands falling to his sides limply as if he was at a loss for words. âThese adventures are supposed to be fun and distracting, Caine! You failed.â I pointed a finger at him accusingly, hoping to really drive the point home.
He gasped in exaggeration, putting a hand to his chest. âI⌠failed?â His eyes glanced around rapidly, his thoughts clearly racing. I nodded in affirmation; there wasnât much I could do to show him how serious I was, but hurting his ego definitely helped me feel better.
âYep, you failed â you had one job, Caine, and you couldnât even do that right.â I began turning, throwing him a look over my shoulder as he continued to spiral. âSo, if youâll excuse me, Iâm going to be in my room until I feel better.â I paused, giving him one last angry glare. âWhich will probably be a very long time.â He locked eyes with me one more time before I turned and opened my door a few feet down the hall, making sure to slam it.
I sighed and fell backwards onto my bed once I had locked it, eyes squeezing shut. I hardly ever liked Caineâs adventures⌠some of the others seemed to genuinely enjoy them, but I did not. All they were to me were distractions; they were definitely something I appreciated and subconsciously looked forward to, given their quality of keeping our brains from actively melting into goop, but they were never fun for me, especially this time around. Running around in the dark for god knows how long trying to find a generator sounded like something straight out of a horror game, and he thought that would be fun?
âStupid dentist modelâ, I muttered, eyes slowly opening.
âThatâs a little rude, donât you think?â I gasped and sat up in shock as I was met with his multicolored irises; he was floating right above me, and a little too close for comfort, at that.
âCaine, what the hell are you doing in here?â I demanded, slowly calming down from the unwelcome surprise. âI wanted to be alone, if I hadnât made that clear!â
âWellâŚâ He floated back a few feet, twiddling with his thumbs as he glanced away. He almost looked⌠nervous? âI felt bad for how I made you feel with the last adventure, soâŚâ He looked back up at me, arms folding behind his back. âI figured I would come and fix the problem!â
âWhatâŚ?â I paused, eyes narrowing at him. âFix how?â
âBy comforting you, of course!â He floated a little closer, his confidence seeming to return. I watched him nervously; âcomfortâ could be practically anything in his book.
âYouâre avoiding my questionâ, I said quickly, my eyes never leaving him as I withdrew my arms close to my chest. âWhat are you planning on doing?â
I merely blinked at him as he halted right where he was and put his arms out invitingly⌠oh.
âA⌠hug?â I scoffed without thinking about it, trying to collect my words as he looked taken aback by my reaction. âLook, Caine, I uhh, really appreciate the offer, but Iâll be fine. In fact, umm, I already am fine!â I forced a smile, eyebrows furrowed together regardless. I felt myself begin to sweat as he glanced me over; it was nerve-wracking knowing he was analyzing every single part of my body language.
âIt would appear youâre lying, my dear; no need! I can surely have you feeling better in no time!â I sighed in defeat as he put his arms back out completely, nodding at me. It looked like he wasnât going away until he was sure he had fixed what he had done. In all honesty, I had already forgiven him; he was strangely charming in his own goofy little way. I really couldnât stay mad at him for long. Plus, I guess I wouldnât mind a hugâŚ
âAlrightâ, I finally muttered, putting my arms out in turn.
I squeaked in surprise as he suddenly picked me up, squeezing me and subsequently cradling me in his lap. I hesitantly looked up at him; sometimes I wished he blinked. I slowly wrapped my arms around him, hugging him back. It was⌠nice. But after only a brief moment, he pulled back, still keeping me in his arms, studying me.
âWhat are you doing?â I was more confused than anything, but the sentence still began with a stutter, which again appeared to ring alarm bells in his head.
âHugging does not appear to be enough, so Iâm just testing something to see if this method is an optionâ, he said blatantly. I jumped as he suddenly poked me in the side; I immediately covered the area on reflex, my other hand grasping his wrist. I realized my mistake too late as I looked up and saw him appear to smile.
âAh! Perfect! Then I should have no trouble cheering you up at all!â
âWait!â I said in panic as he suddenly positioned his hand in a clawing motion just above my stomach, struggling to get out of his grip as he held me against him.
âYouâre confusing me a bitâ, he said, cocking his head to the side. âYou ask for me to stop, and yet youâre still smiling. Having some mixed emotions?â
I realized I was, in fact, smiling, which was apprehensive to the idea of what he was planning on doing, and also just from nervousness.
âIâm just⌠IâŚâ I struggled to find words, too flustered to outright say anything.
âYouâre just⌠what?â He paused before he started slowly wiggling his fingers just above me, to my horror. âMaybe this will help you speak your mind?â
âWait, no, I just-â I shrieked as he tapped my stomach a few times, hands flying to grasp his wrist once again. âIâm just embarrassed! This is just really embarrassing, okay?â I rushed the words as he showed no signs of stopping, holding back nervous giggles.
âYou do appear to be embarrassed, yet also conflicted. Going to push my hand away or just stay posed like that?â He stared at me expectantly, his hand frozen against me. I glanced around, fingers twitching against his arm as I struggled to accept that that was true. It had been a very, very long time since anyone had ever given me affection like this before. What was worse, that didnât even account for the affection I probably lacked before I joined the circus. Given how easily flustered I was, it was obvious this was all foreign to me. I forced myself to look him in the eyes, only curling in on myself even more as I could tell the bastard was still reading me like a book.
âIâŚâ I swallowed nervously. âI just⌠Iâve never hadâŚâ I found myself unable to look at him, or even continue speaking. There was something buried that felt dangerously close to the surface that I just couldnât remember â something painful. My smile left my face.
âOh, sweetheartâŚâ My eyes widened at the sudden nickname, head swiveling to look at him.
âYou donât have to admit it!â I hid my face in my hands as he began slowly dragging a single finger across the front of my body in lazy patterns. âItâs obvious this is a⌠sensitive subject for you.â I couldâve screamed when he made that stupid pun, only leaning further into him in an attempt to hide.
âIf you tell anyoneâŚâ I started, muffled by my hands. I shrieked as he suddenly squeezed my side, interrupting me.
âTell anyone what, my little possession?â The mocking tone of his voice took me by surprise.
âTell anyone that I⌠e-enough with the nicknames!â I squeaked, kicking my legs in reflex as he traced across my ribs.
âTell anyone that you like being tickled?â He said the word with such ease that I gasped, staring at him. He looked down at me for a moment and I could see the gears in his head turning as he read my expression. Then, appearing to smirk (as much as giant teeth can), he snapped his fingers.
âOh! Embarrassed by the word, hmm?â I rapidly shook my head, to which he only continued to stare, obviously not buying it. âSo you are!â He sounded delighted, and I groaned, hiding my face again.
âSo donât say it!â I muttered, my voice sharper than I meant for it to be. I became incredibly suspicious as he went silent, so I looked up at him again. That same blank gaze was returned to me, unmoving.
âTickle.â
I blinked in surprise before I attempted to sternly tell him off. âH-Hey! What did I just-â
âTickle, tickle, tickle!â I screeched as he suddenly dug his fingers into my ribs, his other hand that was supporting me scratching under my arm. I struggled to pry his hands from my body, finding that he wouldnât move at all. I quickly fell into helpless laughter, legs kicking.
âC-Caihaine stahap!â
âStop what?â He said nonchalantly, feigning ignorance.
âYou know exAHACTLY WHAHAT-â I nearly shrieked as he pinched between my side and hip, squirming in his lap.
âOh! Is this a bad spot?â I nearly fell into hysterics as he repeated the action as fast as possible.
âJust not- NOT THEHERE-â I struggled to finish a single sentence, especially when he started rapidly switching places, a loose yet determined grip on me to prevent me from moving very much.
âWhereâs this loud voice when youâre performing, my little superstar?â If I couldâve cursed him out for the snide comments he continuously made, I would have.
âQuit it!â I struggled to annunciate through a stream of giggles and my flustered complexion, his hand trailing down to my stomach, drawing more bubbly noises from me.
âOh, you circus members are always SO delightfully predictableâ, he mused, his hand jumping around to a few different spots, gauging my reactions with robotic precision. âAlways leaving your weak spots open!â
âY-Youâre so bahackhanded!â I squeaked before finding myself thrashing in his grip and practically snorting.
âHmmm, I have to disagree there. Iâm much more front handed when it comes to playing with my performers! Are you seeing my point of view here?â He suddenly stopped only to wiggle his fingers in front of my face, eliciting nervous giggles as I sank even further into his lap in a subconscious attempt to keep them away.
âNo response? Well, at least I know how to make you smile, right?â He moved to squeeze both of my sides at once before spidering; I somehow seemed even more trapped now than I was before, so I opted instead to cover my heated face rather than attempt to escape.
âCareful not to blush too hard⌠your facial polygons are getting artifacts, dear.â
âAhand whose fault is thahat?!â I exclaimed, squealing as his hands began traveling up and down, definitely feeling the artifacts forming now if I hadnât before.
âIâm only cheering you up! Youâre the one that chose to be this sensitiveâŚâ
âIT WASNâT A CHOICE!â I protested through laughter. It was more than embarrassing to know this AI was managing to tease me into oblivion, able to manipulate my reactions like a puppet on a string. Worst of all, he was cheering me up, and pretty soon I would have to genuinely ask for it to end before he got suspicious-
âSo, having second thoughts? Is this method working? Five star review?â He continued reciting practical nonsense, his fingers not missing a beat on wiggling into any hyper-sensitive areas they could find.
I realized it was pointless trying to cover it up; he already knew I was enjoying it. Iâd just be prolonging the amount of sarcastic questioning Iâd experience, which heâd then accuse me of also liking. I struggled to think of words, any words, while he practically played me like an instrument.
âOkay, OKAYHAY! IT WOHORKED ALRIGHT? NOW STAHAP!â I was surprised when he did finally pause, drawing me just a bit closer, those grotesque eyes within his jaws studying me briefly before he scooped me up, setting me back on the bed and then zooming into the air in front of me.
âIâm just messing with you! Of course it worked! That method has yet to fail me!â I wondered how many other performers he had done this to when he accidentally upset themâŚ
While I was lost in thought, he floated closer, and I came back to attention to find him staring inches from my face. I drew back a bit in surprise before he spoke.
âStill embarrassed by it? Donât be!â He punctuated his exclamation with a fancy spin. âJust donât think about the fact that I could hold this above your head forever and thereâs nothing you can do about it â itâs that simple!â
I groaned and set my flustered face in my hands⌠At least the artifacts that formed seemed to have mended themselves. âRight, Caine, that simpleâŚâ
I felt a hand gingerly set on my shoulder and looked back up.
âThat⌠was a joke. I wonât tell anyone, ringmasterâs promise!â He nodded to himself and I smiled slightly.
â...Thank you.â
âAnyways, now that youâre a blushy mess rather than a depressed one, Iâll be on my way! You know where to find me!â He glanced about a dozen different ways, which was concerning but not unexpected, before poofing out of my room with a small eruption of cartoonish smoke.
I laughed a bit to myself after he left, contemplating the whole experience. While he struggled to understand things that were inherently human, it was obvious that he was trying⌠and, at the very least, I wouldnât complain if he tried cheering me up that way again. Just as long as the last adventure never repeated itselfâŚ

Wants And Needs.
------------------------
Summary: Sebastian discovers your choice of reading material is rather lewd and proposes a proposition.
BE AWARE: NSFW, ALL CHARATCTERS ARE 18+
This will be a 5-6 part FWB to lovers fic. Pining, oral s*x, first time, Sebastian is a switch and so is MC, slight breeding kink, many more.
I already have most of it written I just need to edit it.
The mottled stone of the courtyard widow you sit on leaves small imprintations on the skin on your legs as you sit reading the latest book you've managed to snag last time you were in the restricted section.
Recently, you have successfully figured out a way to read your explicit reading material in public by spooning the smaller book inside a slightly larger book to give the appearance that you're reading a potions textbook. You check the time and go back to your reading.
An hour goes by before you hear footsteps approach me and your eyes wander up to see Sebastian leaning against the stone some two feet ahead of me. You canât help but internally fawn over him and his bare forearms, veins skirt from his dexterous looking hands, up dissappearing under the rolled up shirt sleeves. Heâs filled out since last year, taller and broader than he used to be. seemingly outgrown wearing his robes all the time like he did in their fifth year, opting for the white button down and that bloody green tie that had been in too many of your dreams lately. A warm churning In your lower belly makes her breath hitch as he lazily smirks at me, his eyes zero in on the potions textbook.
âHow was brewing liquid luck this afternoon.â he says with a playful smile, taking a step towards you.
âFine.â you says, tensing slightly. If he moved any closer, there would be nothing stopping him from seeing the raunchy book you were currently devouring.
âDo you think I've never never hidden a book in another book before?â he says with a slight chuckle, uncrossing his arms and reaching over to pluck the book from inside the red potions textbook before you can stop him.
âHey!â you squeak out in horror as his fingers deftly skim through the book, reading pages here and there, his mouth falling open, along with a slight raise of his thick eyebrows.
His eyebrows raise, and he looks back at you, a mischievous grin spreading across his face.
"What is this, It's a little raunchy..." *He chuckles as he continues to read through the book.âŚDid you steal this from the restricted section?â he asks, his eyes still roving the words every 20 or so pages.
Is that a faint blush on his cheeks as well?
He flips the book over to glance at the cover before finally looking back at you.
"Go ahead, make fun of me." You say trying to grab the book back. Your cheeks are wildly red.
Sebastian chuckles again, flipping through the pages. The more he reads the more apparent the blushes is that's spreading over his cheeks.
"This is like.. really raunchy. Oh, wow!" He says as he continues reading, deftly avoiding your attempts to retrieve the book.
He continues to read, his eyes skimming down the pages as he looks through your book.
"I was just-..." you start to say something and quickly realize you may shove your more in your mouth than it already was if you keep rambling without thinking.
Sebastian chuckles once again, tapping you on the back and turning the pages a little bit to the next chapter.
"Just what?" He queries with a mock innocent tone.
He turns the pages slower and then to your horror, starts to read it aloud, grinning wildly.
âTheir lips battled for dominance as he slid his hand up her thigh. âI need You inside me, Geoff!â He reads mockingly.
"Oh my god." You says in embarrassment, covering your face with your hands and he chuckles a bit before glancing at you once more, the wild grin drops from his face into a more serious one and his eyes seems to darken as if he's had a sudden thought.
"I must admit, this stuff is pretty stirring." Sebastian says in a lower voice, his cheeks are a blazing bright red.
Suddenly you are wishing you had something to drink as he takes a step towards you. The tow of you are in a lower deserted area of the courtyard and there's no one else around as his eyes drag over your face as if trying to gauge your reaction.
"This actually seems kinda... fun, you know." He says taking another step towards you. He's so close you can smell him, like sundried laundry, coffee and a small hint of the cologne he usually wears, mostly worn off now that the sun was beginning to dip behind the hills.
It was intoxicating and entirely to blame for the loss of your normal brain function as he leaned a forearm against the wall slightly over your head.
"How do you mean?" You asks, your brows furrowed as you watch him set the book down on the stone.
Sebastian shrugs slightly.
"Haven't you ever been curious about this stuff?" He says, his face reddens more.
"Wanted to try anything, see if it feels as good as they make it out to be?" His voice is low and surprisingly vulnerable sounding.
"I suppose I have..." you trail off, finally unable to bear his gaze any longer and angle your eyes at a crack in the stone on the ground.
"You know...we could..try some of it. If you wanted..." He trails off, his hand reached up to ghost over your lips before gently angling your chin back to look at him.
your entire body is hot at the thought. "With you?" You ask.
"I mean, we're close, right? Best friends." His eyebrows raise as he continues to look at you.
You nod, your throat is feeling drier than ever.
This was not a good idea.
This was not a good idea.
Your deeply buried feelings for the Slytherin were making a reappearance and your lips were not listening to your brain.
His smiles softly at you, it's important to note that this is a smile and not a grin.
Sebastian Sallow grins much much more than he smiles. You've learned this over the course of your time knowing each other and have been graced with several of his smiles.
âYes?..." *He asks. The muscles of his chest brush lightly against the swell of your breasts and the feeling shoots like and electrical charge right down to the spot between your legs. "We could start right now...if you'd like." He murmurs against your cheek as his frame hunches slightly to reach his large hand down to the hem of your dress before sliding it up your thigh, using the clip of your stocking to hook your leg higher on him.
"Yes." You say trying to make your response sound a little bit more dignified that the strangled whimper that tries to fall from your lips.
His lips are on yours before you can register anything else and you unconsciously grind your hips against his causing a delicious groan to reverberate from his throat.
"We could try everything in this book." He murmurs against your lips. "But first, I want to try something I've heard about."
