maybe i have a potassium deficiency.. D:

i really cant give any advice because mine seemed like an acute thing, which i have no idea what would have caused me to experience an acute potassium deficiency, but like it couldnt have been a long term deficiency because i was totally fine in the time leading up to it. i just randomly fainted one day and then they gave me supplements through some yellow pills (my 11 year old brain said, wow bananas are high in potassium! and the pills are yellow like bananas! yay potassium pills! they were also shaped kinda like coin sized disks which i thought was weird) and they also gave me an IV. i was discharged by the end of the day and didnt have to do any after care afterwards like i didnt need any long term medication or anything. i really dont know what was up with all that and i was 80% delirious during my entire stay at the hospital so lol

#i also had a migraine during all this #i woke up after fainting and my vision was back and my mom and brother were of course freaking out #but ive always been wary about making a fuss about my health so i was trying to tell them i was fine #despite. yknow. collapsing after pouring cereal all over the counter (was totally blind while doing so)#so they made me go to the hospital #and on the drive thats when my migraine hit #and by the time we got there i was incapacitated like it was actually my first migraine ever. the pain was horrific it was unlike anything i #had ever experienced #and i was just delirious they had to wheel me in and everything #and then i was puking etc they gave me a CAT scan and an IV and i was just trying to sleep etc #woke up at 5pm six hours after being admitted. no pain. totally normal #doc said ok take these two potassium pills and then youre all set #and then i went home and was totally fine LMAO?#never fainted again after that. do not recommend 👎#ask #Anonymous

Minthara says “in Her name” when you first meet her and she’s following the Absolute but when you recruit her and she expresses that she no longer follows any god, but she still has an intact paladin oath, and she says “in your name” occasionally because she’s no longer Lolth’s paladin or the Absolute’s paladin, she’s your paladin

#😭#she might not think you’re a god or whatever but you’re the only one that ever came to save her #and if you let her read your mind you’re the only one she knows has no intention to hurt or use her #like I feel like what Minthara wants most of all is to not have to look over her shoulder or wait for the shoe to drop #like every relationship she’s had as a lolthsworn drow has come with the caveat that everyone will take her out if they have the chance #and if it benefits them even a little #lolth literally encourages this so long as you aren’t obvious about it #and lolth will 100% punish you the second she has an excuse to #and then the absolute like while she was being controlled probably felt more like genuine love than Minthara ever experienced #but it came with Orin and punishments for failing #and her being literallly mind controlled into her #so it’s still violent and threatening even if the extent of that is only realized after she’s pulled out of it #but then there’s you who pulled her out of that #who can clearly and plainly show her that you have no intention of hurting her even if it benefits you #and who went out of your way to rescue her when no one else she was devoted to ever would #and you offered her the means to not only stay safe from the absolute but to get revenge on it #of course it’s ‘in your name’ now you’re the only person that gave Minthara a reason for her to follow you #that wasn’t threats of violence and suffering #you literally gave her the opposite #she’s YOUR paladin it doesn’t matter if aren’t a god #you could be tho #Minthara #minthara baenre #bg3 #baldur's gate 3

oh wow you once came to india? im indian, I'd love to know where all you visited and how the experience was! (positive or negative lol, ik its a difficult country for many foreigners)

i really enjoyed it but i cant say i really experienced india at all, i was flown into goa by a big tech company, picked up at the airport by the driver and immediately taken to the 5 start beach side taj resort where we spent 5 days before being driven back to the airport. the food was fantastic, the ocean awesome to swim in and it was fun to finally meet some of my friends from the android community i never thought i'd get to meet (most of them from india).

but we definitely got just an all expenses paid luxury vacation/conference much more than anything else, we did plan to go out and explore a bit of goa on one of our two free days but it was way too hot and the resort was quite a way out of the city so that never happened.

i would definitely love to eventually go back to india again though and actually experience a bit more of it than the glossy resort world if i can ever travel again (and can ever afford traveling that far again)

#definitely the most bougie thing ive ever experienced in my life #and not something id ever pay for myself even if i had the money #but still a fun experience over all #also i literally skipped two days of work to attend this lmao
