it’s really funny how in the first 3 episodes of torchwood jack and gwen heavily flirt and have really thick romantic tension but from episode 4 on it immediately pivots to jack/ianto and gwen/owen.

Hiya! For the Torchwood Archive’s favourite fic fest, I’m submitting my fic Sin in My Heart, because it’s the story out of my Gwen and Owen series that I’m the most proud of. I worked really hard on the dialogue, making sure I got their mannerisms right - especially for Owen. I really had to push myself to make him nastier.

I made sure I included every detail that was mentioned in the canon, weaving it into my own interpretation of this canon interaction. I especially love the fact that I decided to end it with a moment of silent solidarity from Owen, because it’s so something he’d do. I think I created the perfect balance between smut and character-based work. It took me months to perfect and I still think it’s my masterpiece from the series.
