Fankidtober Day 15: Gwenivar "Gwennie" Harmonia Tasso

Gwennie is the younger child of Bianca and Merula (the original Hero of Ideals who was temporarily fused with Zekrom). Named after her great-grandmother, a medieval Queen of Unova, it's perhaps no wonder that Gwennie, is obsessed with history and archaeology, especially pertaining to her home region. While her outward impression is more that of one of those overly kind, popular girls that you're either bffs with or find obnoxious, once you get her going on manuscripts and ruins... look out. When not out in the field somehow always avoiding getting mud on her collection of cute dresses, she can be found staying just as pristine in her section of the family garden (it's most of the garden, she's the only green thumb in the family). (She's frog boy Blake's little sister, and is friendly academic rivals with Edmond (KalosShipping), meeting him when both got an internship with Prof. Sonia in Galar!)

Waspinator Recovery Thoughts

It's supposed to say "dysphoria" not dysmorphia- it was 3am and I am a terrible at spelling/remembering words even at my most awake sorry lol

Anyways, thinking more on Wasp's recovery and figuring himself out, because while it was unstable, he did seem to enjoy his new organic form and i think it'd be fun to explore his more complicated feelings on the whole thing.

I do think if his Techno-Organic form was more stable it would be less monstrous (something something reflecting how the second time he undergoes the process he is safe and doesn't feel the need to lash out at the world as much something something).

Despite being "cured", Wasp's body was still unstable and causing him problems

Being in a safe environment with food and shelter and his improving mental health had helped, but he still was experiencing extreme body dysphoria (i spelled it wrong in the picture because it was 3am I'm sorry lol) and discomfort.

After the Christmas of ‘85, all of the Christmas Crew are changed in subtle, but irrevocable, ways:

Bethany’s skin takes on a luminosity, imperceptible except in the darkest night. The glow is strongest around her hands, which are always a little warmer than the rest of her

Ralph always smells vaguely of peppermint. Additionally, his teeth stay perfectly healthy, no matter how much junk he eats or drinks

Trystan can now tell just from one interaction if someone is a good person or not. He swears there’s no trick to it, but if he really squints, he can see the faintest aura of “naughty” or “nice”. He generally uses this power to help his sister and friends avoid bad relationships

In addition to the elemental magic she still wields, Gwennie is all but impervious to the cold. The ice is also never as slick for her as it is for everyone else. She takes advantage of this later in life to do research down in Antarctica

Dylan makes virtually no noise when he walks anymore. That, combined with his newfound ability to see in the dark makes it far too easy for him to sneak into places he shouldn’t be (Bethany’s room, for example, with her permission of course)

It is literally impossible for Riley to get lost now. No matter how many wrong turns you make, if she’s with you, you’re getting to your destination with time to spare. The only exception is if she’s purposely trying to get you lost

Tanner is faster and stronger than he’s ever been, which is saying something. He’s not Superman or anything, but he does occasionally have to be reminded that “no, Tanner, regular people can’t just lift a car”
