The day of the meeting with Roy and Doris had finally arrived. Gwen bounced up and down the road towards Hogsmeade. Pascal was literally dazzled by her good spirits. It was visibly infectious as the Slytherin also wore a slight smile on his lips as they crossed the bridge into the village.

"Ohhhh I can hardly wait. Do you know if they like sweets? Maybe I should have brought a little something else. What if they don't like me?" asked Gwen, switching back and forth between euphoria and depression. Pascal put his hand on his sister's head reassuringly.

"Calm down, Gwendoly. Just be yourself and everything will be fine. Trust me," he gave her a gentle squeeze. Gwen's emotions were sometimes a curse and a blessing for the Slytherin, but he knew how to bring her back down to earth. In front of the Three Broomsticks, he could see two figures who looked like they were waiting for someone. On closer inspection, he saw a boy and a girl.

"AH, I think those two are up ahead. Come on you little pest."

Roy was standing in front of the Three Broomsticks, fixing the sleeves of his shirt. His gaze was focused on Doris, despite him leaning his head forward. A smirk spread across his face at the way she kept walking away and to him.

“I’m sure they’ll be here soon, Dory. No need to stress over it.”

“Yes, well… What if they’re allergic to something and we didn’t know that? And they won’t be able to eat what I’ve prepared for them?” Doris exclaimed, still holding the bag full of muffins with pumpkin pie filling. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly in a nervous expression.

But as she turned towards Roy again, she could see the two teenagers walking in their direction. She stared at them for a moment, before leaning closer to the pink-haired boy. After doing so, the girl spoke up once more. This time her voice was much quieter than before. “Do you think it’s them?”

I don‘t know if it‘s fanon or canon, that some of Hunter‘s scars where inflicted by Belos when he was in his cursed form, but I can‘t get this scene out of my head.

There is this specific kind of fanfic that I love, where Hunter gets adopted into the owl house and slowly unlearns all the toxic nonsense Belos taught him. He is allowed to be loud. He doesn‘t have to earn his bed, his meal, medical supplies, the roof over his head, etc. He is allowed to be loud. He is allowed to be childish. He is allowed to take a break. He is allowed to make mistakes. He is allowed to talk back to, and disagree with authority figures. Love and care (especially from a guardian to their child) should be unconditional. Getting physically punished is NEVER an appropriate reaction, he deserved better, and Eda would never do that, no matter what he does. And so on.

But I want to focus on the curse thing. Because in Belos has a cursed form. And the worst physical scars Hunter has, were inflicted upon him by Belos when he was in this state. And Hunter thinks that Belos isn‘t at fault for those things because he wasn‘t in control. That it was his own fault for triggering his uncle in some way or another. That he deserved those injuries because he set Belos off in the first place.

Eda also has a curse she doesn‘t have total control over that makes her more volatile. And we know, that even after turning into the harpy, she still needs those elixirs to stay in control (see ftf). There are infinite ways this can play out, but I can think of these:

1. Eda turns into a harpy and Hunter inacts plans to put himself in harms way to let Luz escape without injury. (physically shielding her; playing distraction;…)

2. Eda gets stressed/scared/starteled/frustrated/… and starts growing feathers. Hunter immediately panics, backpedals, apologises, maybe he has a panic attack.

3. Luz gets injured somehow. Maybe elixirs have run low and they couldn‘t get a hold of Morton in time. Maybe Eda grew claws at an inopportune time. Maybe there was a trial and error phase before she was able to properly judge the Harpy‘s strength.

4. Luz was injured by the owl beast in the days leading up to the season 1 finale, where Eda transforming seems to have been a regular occurence. She could have been attacked. She could have stood too close during a transformation. She could have held a shiny in her hand and get badly scratched whem the beast grabbed it. No matter what happened, she and Hunter start comparing scars inflicted on them by their guardians, and tell wildly different stories.

No matter how they got there I want to see Hunter react to Eda‘s reaction. She is in a similar position as Belos. She could use the same excuses: ”I couldn‘t control myself, why didn‘t you move out of the crossfire, or better yet, never let it get to this point in the first place, this is your fault”. She doesn‘t. If there are injuries, she helps patch them up. She gives them space if they need it. She apologizes. She takes accountability. She does everything in her power to keep then out of harms way. She is open and clear about what sets her off, what can be done to avoid that, what she does to keep the curse at bay, what are signs of an oncoming transformation and what they/ he can do in case she does transform/ lose control. She offers to help him move in with Darius/ the Parks/ Gwendoly/ Dell/ anyone who can protect him, and won‘t sell him out to Belos he would feel comfortable with, if he isn‘t willing to bear the risks of living with her. She doesn‘t demand forgiveness for whatever harm she caused, or for him to trust her in spite of that.

And Hunter is confronted with the fact that Belos could have - no, should have done the same, and has no excuse for doing what he did to him.

tldr: Eda would be the second parental figure of Hunter, that has a curse liable to cause anyone in her vincinity harm, and I want to see Hunter confronted with that and the way she handles such a situation.

Resident Evil Revised TV Series Idea.

The show should be told American Horror Story like meaning its gonna be anthology-ish based with stories bouncing back with returning characters.

Season 1’s cast is Jessica Henwick as Jill Valentine, Kellan Lutz or Sebastian Stan as Chris Redfield, Antony Starr as Albert Wesker, David Harbour as Barry Burton, Charlie Hunam as Richard Aiken, Jack Quad as Brad Vickers and Erin Moriarty as Rebecca Chambers.

Season 1 is an adaptation of RE1 taking creative liberties from the remake and original. The one difference is that Brad’s helicopter is hit by crows leading him to nearly crash and fly away, this results in a subplot of Brad returning to HQ and finds dirt on Irons before returning.

Season 2 has a different set of characters and a bigger budget with Hailee Steinfeld as Claire Redfield, Mason Dye as Leon S. Kennedy, Sadie Sink as Sherry Birkin, Elizabeth Olsen or Laurie Holden as Annette Birkin, Karen Fukuhara as Ada Wong, Temura Morrison as HUNK and Jason Issacs or Paul Bethany as William Birkin. Takes influence from the RE2 Remake.

Season 3 is an adaptation of RE3 Nemesis mixed with the remake. Jill is the same, Oscar Isaac plays Carlos Oliveira, Jonathan Adams as Tyrell Patrick, Tom Wlaschiha as Mikhail, and Michael Fassbender as Nicholai Zinoviev.

Season 4 adapts a story from the Umbrella Chronicles which is the fall of Umbrella and also Code Veronica Jamie Campbell as Alfred Ashford and Natalie Dormer as Alexia Ashford. Also Tye Simpkins as Steve Burnside.

Season 5 adapts the story of Leon and Krauser (John Cena or Frank Grillo) with Jenny Ortega as Manuela Hidalgo.

Season 6 is an adaptation of Resident Evil 4 with Mason Dye reprising his role as Leon and Cena or Grillo as Krauser alongside Fukuhara as Ada while newcomers Ashley Graham and Luis Sera are played by Natalia Dyer and Diego Luna with Javier Bardem as Saddler. A couple of unknowns for Mendez and Salazar.

Season 7 adapts Resident Evil Revelations with Jason Momoa as Parker Luciani, Kit Harrington as Raymond Vester and Alexandra Daddario as Jessica Sherawat.

Season 8 is an adaptation of RE5 but it’s more in line with the original draft albeit the mind controlled Jill part is there. Danai Guerera is Sheva Alomar, Daniel Kaluuya as Josh Stone, Jesse Plemons as Richardo Irving and Monica Belucci as Excella Gionne.

Season 9 adapts Resident Evil 6 with most of the cast returning and a better written Jake Muller played by Wyatt Russell and has been reimagined as a BSAA soldier instead of a mercenary who teams up with Sherry Birkin played by Billie Lourde with Liam Hemsworth playing Piers Nivans and Jill tagging along. Also Simmons is changed from instead of being a member of a secret society, he was just trying to cause global bio terror attacks to promote the his own agendas of a better secured world with Carla Radames being a rogue operative and an ally of Ada’s. Temura Morrison returns as HUNK and is Ada’s partner.

Season 10 is Resident Evil Revelations 2 with Emily VanCamp as Alex Wesker with Harbour reprising his role as Barry Burton, Millie Bobby Brown as Moira Burton, and an unknown actress for Natalia. Steinfeld returns as Claire too.

Season 11 adapted Resident Evil 7 fully with Joe Keery or Chris Hemsworth as Ethan Winters (to make the plot sound more sensical, Ethan is a private investigator and a former RPD cop), Emilia Clarke is Mia Winters, Michael Rooker is Jack Baker, Toni Colette as Marguerite Baker, Rooney Mara as Zoe Baker and Aaron Paul as Lucas Baker with Stan returning as Chris.

Season 12 is an RE8 adaptation with Cate Blanchett or Gwendolie Christie as Lady Dimitrescu (CGI), Eva Greene as Donna Beneviento, Nicholas Cage as Karl Heisenberg, Stellan Skarsgard as Salvatore Moreau, and Emily Blunt as Mother Miranda. Hound Wolf squad consists of Jill, Chris, Barry and Rebecca.

That nitpicky observation I made about Lilith stumbling over a non-existent rock turned out to be the funniest joke of the episode thus far. This is genius! I literally do not care if it turns out you were all trolling me and this episode has no big reveals whatsoever, this joke made it all worth it.

Blessed be ye, you wonderful person Lilith.

Lilith really is all that I aspire to be. Smart. Educated. Good at dancing. Sadly, I am none of these. I did place a curse on my sister though, so we have that in common at least. Maybe one day I can be as cool an uncle as Lilith is an aunt.

First and foremost, King basically just called Eda his mom. I know he changed his name and all in Eda’s Requiem, but that was more affirming that he saw her as family. Family can be complicated and not alway straight-forward. So to hear him call Dell his grandpa confirms he sees Eda as his mother. It is wholesome and cute.

Oh, and I guess Dell is here. According to Gwendoly, he’s supposed to be an expert on palisman making (which might come on handy should Luz ever need help making hers, just saying). In fact, the Clawthorne Clan is supposed to be a long line of expert palisman crafters.

Hey, uh, Eda? You look a bit… worried there. Thinking about the time you turned into the Owlbeast and clawed your dad’s eye out? It should be fresh in your memory, it wasn’t that long since you were forced to relive that memory in your dreams.

Luz is pointing out what I was just about to point out myself. These Savage Ages seem to be not so savage. Boneborough looks cleaner and safer than in present times. We see people helping each other and a little kid showing great skill with magic even at a young age.

The thing I find interesting though is that this is wild magic. The term ”wild” carries with it a connotation of something untamed and unpredictable. The magic the people of this era practice is obviously still very sophisticated. There might have been some advancements in some fields since, but it really does seem to me like the only thing that Belos ever did was limit what people can do. Constraining them to one type of magic per witch, limiting and eliminating choices.

Lilith says it’s because the  Titan ”supposedly” wants it so. That word, supposedly, is telling. It means that Lilith isn’t sure if that actually is the Titan’s will. Despite having had her entire life to get brainwashed, she is now considering what I already believe to be the case; Belos is no prophet of the Titan.
