Ended off the night by finishing the captions for one of tomorrows isolated lines. Got a clean/clear recording of the jade brotherhood miner in 'Luxon Terminus Fort' who fell victim to the haze. Listening over it with the knowledge that haze can give people vivid hallucinations, makes this NPC's lines hit so much harder. (Tho the way they are delivered already makes them hit hard)

I'll be releasing it proceeded by some light hearted Rama lines. Accompanying the audio will be a list of content warnings above. I look forward to peoples reactions and thoughts on it in the morning.

The comeback

Hopefully, the last comeback.

I have gained and lost a lot during the last few weeks, even months. I had to ask myself "am I really ready to stop binging? why do I keep looking for excuses?"

I had many tumblr-accounts that have been on and off over and over again. And I want THIS to be the last one. The last time.

Why, you may be asking. Why should I finally be able to beat my demons, stay strong, get healthy and lean?

I'm tired of this life. Living like this, is destroying me. I don't know who I am when I look in the mirror. I wanna dress up nicely so, so bad. But I feel so uncomfortable. So, here's the last time of reactivating a Tumblr account:

My current weight, and also my highest ever weight, is 80kg

I started developing more frequent knee pain, due to my fluctuating weight.

My birthday is in exactly 13 weeks. Realistically, I should be able to lose 15 kg in this time period, which is what my goal is. -15kg by Christmas Eve, -31kg in total (no time limitations). It is my 25th birthday to be exact. I've spent a quarter of a century in a body I didn't like, fat, unhealthy, unhappy. I deserve to feel better and I want to mark a new chapter of my life. By becoming who I am on the inside.

It's just 13 weeks, maybe I will reach my goal and stop there because I'm happy with the results. Just 13 weeks. Only 13 monday-shifts left. Only 13 short workdays on Thursdays left. Only 13 weeks. Only 13 Sundays of saying "let's not get takeout today and eat something fresh". Only 13 weeks of limiting my caloric intake, drinking water, quitting sugar and fried foods, going to the gym 3 times a week, and walking frequently.

I. Will. Do. It. This time, I will not automatically think "I will quit this shi tomorrow anyways"

I hope you stick around for updates. I'm ashamed, but I'm sure some people feel the same way.

personally I'm DYING to read gw2 my immortal

Im having it peer-reviewed on saturday night and then I still need to get some thumbs up from some people about certain parts of the fic so when I get an "all clear" i will probably put it here or on my AO3 or both and then I will spectacularly die from shame that something like that came from me.

For now, all I can do is give you chapter one of what I call "Your Mortal", it's below the cut and my dignity is 5 metres in the ground-

Hi my name is Ivory Light’ness Rememberance Swan Path and I have midbac long ivory hair (that’s how I got my name) with pink streaks and my eyes are blue like Gornag’s corruption. I am a werewolf but not ugly like a nornwolf but a cute one. I’m also a smart girl and I go to Queensdale Academy in Kryta and I will graduate soon - I’m nineteen. Im a prep and I am also a furry if you didn’t know - I am a werewolf with a cute ivory tail and I like Rytlock Brimstone, but that’s a secret so keep it to yourself you fucking goth trash :) Today I put on a white-ish green shirt with pink and orange flowers with puffed up sleeves at the bottom, white-ish green thigh highs and a pink skirt that is way too short for a decent lady from a good household such as myself, but I was on a mission - a mission to steal hearts. With pink lipstick on, i walked across the courtyard of the academy. I saw that shitty goth logan thaceray stare at me so i seductively flipped my hair at him. You can watch but you can’t touch. Also, logan was known for dating queen jennah, the founder of the academy, so i dont know why he was checking me out. Dirty homewrecker will be smitten by gods one day, for that I pray! I continued walking.

“Hey Ivory!” i heard and looked over my shoulder. I couldnt believe. It was… canach!!!!

“Oh, hello Canoch” i said and in2uired “how are you on this lovely day”

Canach is a hot goth-turned prep. I am so happy for him. Even a sinner like canak can be saved by the six. Yes, he is bald, but i dont mind thay/t. For me he will wear a wig. Some pink sylvari was shaved recently so there will be plenty of leaves for a wig for canach.

THINKING Rhowan's holoforge (and by extension, her armor) would be less of a like. Power source? and more like a focus. Holosmith really makes me think about Rhowan's connection to the sun and how it would be more of a conduit? for her sun magic. So her forge gives her the control she needs to channel the magic.

Her gauntlets would be where the energy is going so her forge is mostly contained in her arms and would creep higher with the more power she uses.

Had to take a bit of a break from finishing this set of armor to work on my first commission. (Should be rendering that next month) Anyways, I've made another suit of armor that I'd like to think that Ash Legion soldiers on the battlefield would wear. I know I've already made a suit of armor for the Ash Legion, but it was quite outlandish, and I'm thinking about replacing it with this one...

I keep trying to make sets of armor that arent complete and fully featured, or basically a light or medium set of armor like you'd see in GW2, but it keeps turning in to full plate armor. Its not that there is anything wrong with that, I just dont know why I keep trying since light or medium armor doesnt even make any practical sense if it's not "complete and fully featured," if the point of it is to protect the wearer from attacks. Skilled people do wear a lack of armor on purpose in combat to decrease the amount of energy they use, and give them that extra bit of snappiness that can help them win fights, but why call a lack of armor "light armor" or "medium armor" at that point. Its basically just clothes. A gamberson/aketon can look just like a shirt, but that's still purpose built, practical armor. Mail is also comparable in weight to Plate armor, but it still looks something akin to clothing, and people still treat it like it's light or medium armor. One of the reasons people used these so called "Light Armors" in lieu of Plate when metal was available, was not for the reason that they were lighter. (because they werent THAT much lighter) Mail, Gamberson, and anything similar had very consistent protection around the body where it was worn by default of it being made like a piece of clothing, but a good suit of plate armor shouldn't have any vulnerable areas like are observable on many suits of "Heavy Armor" in game. It's understandable from a game design standpoint, in that it is very difficult to animate with proper pauldrons that protect the armpits, and have those same animations be transferrable to other skills on people with "Light Armor." Its just that these "light and medium armors" should be associated with the people who could obtain it, and not the class of its weight, because the weight really doesnt matter nearly as much as the protection you get from the armor, since "Heavy Armor" isnt thay heavy in reality to begin with. (A good set weighing only twice as much as regulation american football protective gear.) It's just more expensive, and makes you hotter and tired quicker, which isnt a problem for the people who are trained to wear it in the first place.

In the case of the warmongering charr, the build of their body, and the prevalence of their metalworking industry, I dont see them sparing any expense when it comes to armor, not only since working metal is such a common and refined subject for them, or that money clearly doesnt have much bearing on who or what they choose to fight, but also because they are trained from childhood in combat, and to be able to handle the kind of rigors that come with wearing "Heavy Armor." So in my opinion, a Legion charr on the battlefield wouldnt be caught dead without a "complete and fully featured" set of Plate armor.

There is the exception of specialized fighters, like the covert Ash Legion soldiers, who's job does not find them on the battlefield, and another less obvious exception is the charr that do fight, but were not trained in a fahrar, such as a charr that may have grown up outside the citadel, or one that practices magic instead of combat. For these, it might be too difficult to wear plate armor and still remain effective in a scuffle, let alone afford plate armor in the first place, so the so called "Light Armors" would be their best option, despite the armors not actually being that light.

I’d rather all of the money go to moving to Her than anything else.

29. Can you honestly say you’d risk your life for someone else? >> I cannot honestly say that. I don’t know whether I would or not. I default to assuming I wouldn’t, which leaves the opportunity open for me to be pleasantly surprised by my own behaviour in a moment of crisis.

Are you afraid of death? >> What I am, is fundamentally disturbed by the idea of knowing consciousness and sentience and intense self-awareness (and self-dissolution, both, but always in the realm of some sort of overarching consciousness) -- only for that to be extinguished in the end. There are many paths to coming to terms with this, and I have utilised all of them at some point (and continue to); if I must die, I would prefer to be accepting of it as it comes for me. However, I also realise it just plain doesn’t matter either way, in the end. That 12th house Pluto is a doozy, all right.
