They stand outside of the ICU, and watch Y/N lie there lifelessly on the bed.

The next day Y/N undergoes surgery while hoseok, dad, and mom are waiting with their palms filled with sweat, hearts threatening to jump out of their chest because of all the fear and worry.

Once the surgery is over, the doctor tells them, "We have tried our best for the patient. We were able to remove the remaining blood clot, yet, unfortunately, the patient was not lucky enough to keep her vision. I apologize."

Left in shock, unable to withstand the heartbreaking news, the hallway is filled with sobs and wails.

"It is important for the family members to have a strong and calm attitude in order to help the patient overcome the difficulties and to accept her condition. It is not that she will be forever blind. If she or the family ever wishes to help her regain her vision, with medical research continuing to advance, she can get a surgery that can help her see again."

"What about now? Huh! What is my daughter gonna do now? Wait and wait. How is she going to live?" Dad asks enraged and filled with worry. Mom holds dad back while patting him to calm him down.

"Your daughter will have to begin adapting to not being able to be aware of her surroundings. She will have to rely on her family and use her other senses to make up for the missing factors. If you guys are worried, you could get a guide dog so that she not only has company, but also some protection. She will also have to learn the braille system since she can not see."

"I understand how you are feeling, however, it is important that you make sure the patient understands she is not alone. You need to support her, even though it is not easy, so that she will not give up on herself.," the doctor explained and while hanging his head low.

"She will be transfered back to a regular room, and then, you may go visit her"

"If you ever have any question, please do not hesitate to contact me."
