Happy birthday to perennially fierce and in-your-face comedienne, singer, actress, authoress, conceptualist, performance artist and Playboy playmate - the divine Sandra Bernhard (born 6 June 1955)! How fitting she was born during pride month! Like so many Gen X-ers, Bernhard first came to my attention as a teenager when she was a regular anarchic (or as The Village Voice put it, “rivetingly obnoxious”) presence on Late Night with David Letterman. And seeing her 1990 film Without You I’m Nothing in a nearly empty cinema (was it The ByTowne? The Mayfair?) as a university student in Ottawa, Ontario blew my freaking mind. Someone in the comments of my last post told me about the script for Smurfs 3, which we never got, and I have been reading it all day

(Still not 100% sure if it's real, but I enjoyed it nonetheless, so even if it's not, whoever wrote it, thank you for feeding me)

I don't blame him for smooshing it together, "Gargamel" is much more intimidating than Gar

We finally get to past, younger Papa who was named Pieter (apparently just pronounced like 'Peter' from what I was able to find, which I kinda think is funny for a smurf)

And I actually really enjoy the idea of this cautious, ever careful and parental figure having once been reckless and just hopping on birds like 'okay let's go'

I don't even really have any commentary about this, I just thought it was cute

Azreal has his own little saddle I'm crying

This man, despite being horrible, is a cat dad. He had to have paid someone to custom make a little saddle for his cat so he could ride a horse with him and make him feel included, when he could have just carried him or set him in the back. And Azreal can technically leave whenever he wants but he willingly stays with this pathetic old man, which means Gar-boy's gotta be doing something right

That's all I'm posting for now, the whole script is well over 100+ pages, and I'm only a little past the first 35, but if y'all enjoy this post, I might continue to post my reactions to this script because it is very enjoyable to read (I love Papa lore) and I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions about media I like :]

And now we get to my favorite pairing with two Smurfs who never interacted with each other, but became a thing through fan art, Gutsy x Tailor!

I discovered this ship in 2014, a year after ''The Smurfs 2''.

I know that there are people (including my friend, Butterfrogmantis) who ship Gutsy with Brainy and Tailor with Farmer, but I ship Gutsy with Tailor because it is actually very underrated with very little fan art and little to no fanfiction.

Tailor is gay and Gutsy is bisexual.

Also, Gutsy being taller than Tailor was unintentional.

Which couple will I do next?
