Here are some fun headcanons for the main Sing cast and, of course, a special focus on Darius since he’s the main character of my heart:

Main Cast Fun Headcanons

Buster Moon:

He secretly watches motivational videos on YouTube to stay inspired, often quoting them without realizing.

Has a surprisingly good singing voice

Rosita:

Her kids have accidentally gone viral on TikTok multiple times for their chaotic antics.

Johnny:

He often hums random tunes that end up becoming full songs, but he’s too shy to perform them right away.

Can’t resist joining street performances if he hears music while walking by.

Ash:

She secretly collects pins for her guitar strap, each one representing a different gig or important moment in her life.

Has a playlist for every mood, but refuses to share them because they’re “too personal.”

Meena:

She’s amazing at charades but pretends to be bad so others can win.

Can memorize any song after hearing it once, which amazes everyone.

Gunter:

Has an alter ego for when he’s “off-stage” and pretends to be a low-energy, serious person, but no one buys it.

Keeps a secret stash of glitter and confetti "for emergencies."

Dramatic Flair:

Darius cannot resist adding a dramatic flourish to everything he does. Whether it's ordering coffee or stepping into a room, it has to be an entrance.

He has a signature move for photoshoots—a head tilt and smolder that he’s perfected over the years.

Fashion Icon:

His wardrobe is huge. He has an outfit for every possible scenario, but claims he just “throws something on.”

He secretly loves wearing cozy clothes at home, but will never admit it. Louisa (My oc) probably finds him wrapped in a ridiculous blanket scarf while claiming it's "casual couture."

Over-the-Top Romantic:

If he ever falls for someone (ahem, Louisa), he goes all out. Think surprise serenades, extravagant gifts, and handwritten poetry.

For all his flair, he gets tongue-tied in moments that feel too real emotionally. His overconfidence falters, and he’ll cover it up with a joke or a dramatic gesture.

Routine Perfectionist:

His morning routine is a sacred ritual. Skincare, vocal warm-ups, and a perfectly brewed coffee are non-negotiable.

He spends an absurd amount of time styling his hair, but insists it’s “naturally perfect.”

Hidden Softness:

Darius keeps mementos from fans or people he cares about, like little notes or trinkets, but he hides them so no one thinks he’s sentimental.

He loves the quiet moments—like watching sunsets or fireflies—but only lets his guard down around someone he truly trusts.

Here a post about all the headcanon I did about this drawing.

Moon is the only one in his suit and not comfy clothes 'cause he was already late because of a meeting so he came here in his suit. Also he wanted to keep working, and that's why he have his PC, but he was too tired he fell asleep.

Jhonny cooked with Rosita and Gunter because after the first sing movie, when his dad was still in prison and he had to learn how to live alone Rosita often came to his place and showed him easy and good recipes to make, and now they just love to sometimes cook together.

Porsha after SLAYING in here alien costume now buy a lot of green pieces of clothing, and it actually became her favorite color.

Ryan is a little shy cause he's only really friend with Jhonny, and Nooshy a little bit, he hasn't said a word since Jhonny left to the kitchen until he came back.

Meena was so happy to have Alfonso around cause before the event she has presented him to her parents and grand parents.

Miss Crawly has helped so much with the kids of Rosita the past few years that they call her aunt Crawly.

Rosita told Ash a lot that having some spike in her couch didn't bothered her but Ash really don't want to damaged her couch so she'd rather sit on the ground.

Eddie was the one driving Moon to Rosita's place after his reunion and he will be the one driving him home after, driving carefully to let him sleep.

Gunter was the one choosing the Playlist.

Porsha insisted to Nooshy that she knew how to play Mario kart, so they shared the controler, turns out Porsha is really bad at the game, so Nooshy is losing her shit.

Gunter Rosita and Jhonny made sure to make at least one cupcake with the preferred flavor of everyone.

More Random Sing Headcanons With No Real Common Thread Here

The New Moon Theatre has a box of free pride stuff out year round in case anyone, employee or guest, needs anything.

Hobbs was essentially Eddie's parent through a lot of his growing up because Eddie's parents were rarely home but still always referred to him a "sir" the whole time.

Ryan went through a rebellious phase when he was like 14 and not only got a tongue piercing but took up graffiti for a few months.

The Moon Theatre Trio has the most chaotic shared playlist of all time.

Marcus and Rosita are best friends and build things together all the time.

It took months after the theatre flood for any of the kids to even want to be near water and they had to go to swimming lessons to feel safe about it.

Mrs. Crawly was in JROTC in high school and was very good at it but ended up deciding to work at the theatre instead.

Rosita has a twin brother named Christopher that she has very little contact with for a variety of reasons mainly due to his refusing to take anything seriously.

Gunter and Stan were the kids in high school who always asked if anyone had gum.

Johnny is actually a decent mechanic due to hanging around the garage growing up but regrets mentioning this as Buster always tries to get him to do repairs around the building.

Suki's favourite character in the Owl House (Porsha made her watch with her once) is Lilith Clawthorne.

4. what is the plot bunny you’ve been carrying for the longest? optional bonus question: do you ever wonder why you haven’t written it yet and experience deep existential dread?

OUGH EVIL QUESTION.......pulls out my file folder of gunter ideas. okay, I'm gonna say one that I've carried around for a long time. not sure if it's the oldest plot bunny, but it's certainly up there.

what exactly happened when Azura found Gunter in Valla during the events of Conquest? they tell us during Chapter 15 that Azura would visit Valla to wander when she was lonely, and during one of these visits she found Gunter (after he got shoved down the canyon) on death's door. they also tell us that she taught Gunter how to hide and stay safe in Valla.

I'd loooooove to explore a setting where Azura finds Gunter and nurses him back to health. how frantic is she: does she stay cool? is she mildly concerned someone she vaguely recognizes from her youth made his way to Valla, and is almost dead? Ovvl this is not a huge spoiler for Revelation, but tldr very early on (Chapter 7), Gunter apologizes to Azura for not being able to protect her when she was kidnapped by Hoshido.

and THIS is the part that's puzzled me for awhile, because I guess depending on how you choose to read into it, this interaction could suggest there's some level of familiarity between them. Gunter knows Azura. and Azura knows her kidnapping is something discussed in Nohr, by the royal family and those kept close by. and so I've struggled to unravel how their familiarity would play into the whole 'Azura rescues Gunter' scenario, but I think I've established some sort of working link now. admittedly a lot of it hinges on headcanons which like, I dunno, maybe not everyone will enjoy. but I think the fic will be fun to write! once I actually get to it.

I don't make playlists for fics!! I certainly have a playlist of various ambient music I put on to write to, but no to playlists of individual songs for ideas I'm writing.

9. in an ideal world where you’re already super successful and published, would you want to see a tv or movie adaptation of your work? why or why not?

oh movie for sure. I don't feel like my writing style really meshes well with the episodic format of a tv show. also, I wouldn't want to make my viewers suffer during the wait between episodes LOL and I loathe this model of releasing all the episodes at the same time.

58. what is the last thing that a fic made you google when you were writing it?

okay my history is sorted alphabetically so, here are some things I google'd while writing over the course of the last week:

77. how do you write kissing scenes?

A GOOD QUESTION.......TRYING TO REMEMBER the last time I genuinely wrote a scene about kissing, beyond the 'reassuring peck on the lips'�� oh wait it might have been for the last art/fic trade I did. okay based on this, I tend to focus on not only the kiss. while the kiss is on-going, I have one of the characters experience some deep emotional introspection that will eventually return later on in the fic. of course I can't be simple. imagine it kind of like an oh moment but really it's an opportunity for the reader to hear for the first time just how much character A cherishes character B.

Christmas Headcannons🎄(Sing 2016/2022)

Rosita is the main cook when making and baking everything

One time the whole group decided to do the making and baking themselves to surprise her. The outcome was not the best. Rosita, ofcourse, appreciated the effort.

Meena's the only one allowed to cook without suppervision though.

Mike's playlist is the only Christmas playlist that is the only playlist that doesn't have one song that's impossibly out of place.

Gunters Christmas playlist is the best though, bc ofcourse it is

Nooshy put 'Never Gonna give you upon her Christmas playlist and is way too proud when she rickrolls everyone at the Christmas Party.

Speaking of Christmas Party, I feel like they'd reserve a restaurant for everyone, or all just take over someone's house everytime.

Once they had to celebrate Christmas on a plane to perform "out of this world" overseas. All I'll say is a flight had never been jollier.

Everytime they meet up for Christmas they have a group sing along to whatever Christmas song they can find.

They definitely tried to mistletoe Meena and Alfonso many times. They only succeed once and Meena will never live it down.

Eddie used to have dinners and Nana with his parents at Christmas but always ran away to have fun with the rest of the group. Nana always covers up for him bc she's the best.

Johnny is the main target for Ms. Crawly's christmas sweaters, since he's the only one who 1) can fit them and 2) doesn't have the heart to refuse her. But the sweaters are fashionable though so it's worth it

Assuming Clay first meets the piglets at Christmas time, they all think that Clay is Santa's in disguise. Clay hasn't been the most Christmasy for a while bc, yknow, a decade and a half in complete isolation from the outside world and all. But he just rolls with it bc why not and the only person who have resistance to the piglets cute little faces is Rosita.

(They eventually figure out that Clay is infact not Santa's but its fun believing it)

Porsha is surprisingly one of the best at giving gifts. No one knows how but she just is somehow.

Shes the one who gets Buster his nice red Christmas suit bc she said, and I quote "I love you with all i have but you desperately need other clothes"

They all go caroling together

Mike used to carol at christmas time for extra cash but stopped cause it really didn't do much for his bank account. He made the mistake of telling everyone and they all dragged him out to o it just for fun, much to his dismay. They ended up attracting a whole crowd in the first 30 mintes.

Every pair has ended up under the mistle toe once which mostly just ends with sweet kisses on the cheek and hugs

When the actual romantic pairs end up under, you just know it is gonna end in catastrophe

Ash and Buster do that thing where she sings and he plays the piano with everyone relaxing around them. Sometimes with enough (affectionate) peer pressure they'll do a duet.

Ms Crawly is infact the person who would give socks and scented candles as a chritmas present and it's great.

Tying back to my last comic; Buster never got that many presents as a kid, mostly bc they just didn't really ever have the money for more than one present and an outing to a resterant. He never complained ofc, tho it was a bit sad when other children whould talk about the great presents they would get and he's be like "uh, I got a pokemon shirt?". Then after his father died he's get presents from mainly Ms. Crawly, occasionally Eddie and he'd give hmself a gift that wold mostly be like a book or smth. Ofcourse with his new theater family he has like 7 presents which he is so surprised and grateful for. The theatre family when they find out all he's been getting for Christmas for years is books, coffee cups and the one watch eddie got him,they all went on a legal heist to get him everything he has ever wanted. Ofcourse he keeps the list very short so they don't work themselves out but he's so impossibly happy.

Anyways, that's all i've got. Happy 25th of december you lot :D
