Ok so context, I’ve had this idea for a while now but wanted to explore it more with the whole au combo thing I did for a bit

BUT THEN I got a new idea, one that combined more than two aus…

So I present to you this Musical AU, it contains characters from my three main aus (currently, tho I am very inclined to add some others), and it’s basically two of the main stories as musicals!

Let’s meet the main characters shall we?

From Get in Losers: Musical Edition, Sunrise Rays and Crescent Moondrop Celestial as Sun and Moon! The twins that started it all, you won’t believe how unlucky these guys get, watch as Sun and Moon fumble through dimensions, the plans of their enemies, and their own relationship in their way to collect as many family members as possible.

These two were very surprised when they not only got accepted but were actually casted as the main characters. Even more so when their other triplet wasn’t included with them since the start. They were certainly nervous about this all, but knowing the rest of the cast and their family members are right next to them puts them at ease.

And from The Sunset and Moonlight Musical, Waning Moonlight and Sunset Sky Galaxia as Moonlight and Sunset! The tale we all know and kinda love reimagined with the classic character swap, watch the twins face every challenge coming their way while they try to keep the rift between them from increasing further.

These two gave it their all in their auditions, and they got in! They weren’t aware of the fact that the other had auditioned as well though, it was meant to be a surprise from both of their ends. They laughed about it after finding out. Since the musical is still being written (I don’t have enough songs for the story yet :() they have some extra time to get to know their fellow cast members and get familiarized with the theatre.

Both these main character sets have an extra member however, with being two sets of triplets and all. Nem and Morningstar, while not exactly jealous of their sibling’s roles, aren’t exactly thrilled about missing out on all the fun. At least at first. They used to joke with one another about how they’d make their own musical behind everyone’s backs.

Jason Isbell Thrills Beacon Theatre with New Music

Jason Isbell – Beacon Theatre – February 21, 2025

Americana singer-songwriter Jason Isbell weaves tales of place, particularly focused on the Southeastern United States. Born in Alabama, Isbell now makes his home in Nashville, Tennessee, and his music has rightfully earned him multiple Grammys for its insightful narratives about the South and his journey into fatherhood. The politically outspoken artist has stood up for police reform, abortion rights, gun control, and LGBTQ+ and transgender rights. In 2021, he fulfilled his promise with Georgia Blue, a charity album featuring covers by Georgia artists following Joe Biden’s victory in the state in the 2020 United States presidential election. And with a new solo album, Foxes in the Snow, out soon, he performed at the Beacon Theatre on Friday, the first of two sold-out weekend dates.

Billed as An Evening with Jason Isbell, the former Drive-By Trucker approached the stark stage with just his acoustic guitar for “Bury Me,” the forthcoming record’s opening track. The Southern gent primarily played new material and songs from his previous album, 2023’s Weathervanes, for the top half of the show. The stripped-down set was reminiscent of an episode of VH1 Storytellers, as Isbell shared personal anecdotes behind the songwriting. “King of Oklahoma” was written while he was filming Killers of the Flower Moon, and “Middle of the Morning” was done during the pandemic when he recalled “not knowing where to put my shadow.” 

Despite not being familiar with the soon-to-be-released material, Friday’s Beacon attendees were rapt hearing “Foxes in the Snow,” “Gravelweed,” “Eileen” and “Open and Close.” Delighting longtime fans, Isbell dipped into his 2010s catalog for “Alabama Pines,” off 2011’s Here We Rest, “Cover Me Up,” from 2013’s Southeastern, and “If We Were Vampires,” off 2017’s Nashville Sound. The briefest of exits called the singer back to encore with two new songs, “Ride to Robert’s” and “True Believer,” bookending a cover of Bon Iver’s “Beth/Rest.” Needless to say, the March album likely will be a resounding success, possibly leading to even more Grammys. —Sharlene Chiu | @Shar0ck

More Random Sing Headcanons Because I Have ✨Insomnia✨

Ryan is the kind of person who constantly has video essays and  exposés playing while he does just about anything, especially while doing schoolwork.

When Nooshy gets angry her accent turns more Welsh sounding and when they're tired, it turns more Canadian sounding.

Johnny has to do his schoolwork or any type of assignment in the garage because otherwise he'll get distracted in a song and his dad and uncles have to stop him from completely zoning out constantly.

Ryan will drag anyone available to any and all book sales that are nearby to help him carry books he gets. When he moves into the Majestic, Johnny is officially appointed to "living book bag" (he does not mind this in the slightest).

The entire troupe goes all out for Mrs. Crawly's birthday and decorate both her house and the theatre entirely.

Ash absolutely loves horror movies. Like loves them. She was thrilled when she realized Nooshy does too because Johnny and Meena both hate horror and now she has a movie theater buddy.

During Sing 2, Johnny and Meena would vent to each other after rehearsal every day about how bad it was going.

When Johnny got in trouble for fighting in school for the first time, his dad took him out for ice cream instead of grounding him (the kid absolutely deserved it and Johnny was just defending himself really but still got suspended).

Nana meets with the moon theatre trio (Meena, Ash, and Johnny) regularly for tea and refers to them as her "adopted great-grandchildren" when people ask (she adores them, just won't show it).

During Sing 1, before Nana had decided to go to see the ending performances or not, Hobbs was just listening to her debate it while already laying out her stuff because he knew she would cave.

There is one, ONE comic that gets my Blorbo right, with a part in a larger crossover. There was another comic that did the setup for the one that got them right, which is acceptable. There is one comic that vaguely hinted at the correct version of my Blorbo, which was not enough.
