So far it seems Master Chief Karen Joshua is the only competent person in this series.

I'm curious if we're gonna see the MC actually face any consequences for his actions, or he's just gonna fumble his way through the whole series...

and I'm REALLY curious if we'll ever learn how he got his position. Like is it just because he produced good results in space combat? Or does he have some connections with the higher ups? or is it intentional sabotage from someone who wants the 08 MS Team to get wiped out???????

Random Observations As I Binge Through Gundam

The lore is not actually that intimidating and I have been watching in whatever random-ass order strikes my fancy. ((Origin -> Unicorn -> A few episodes of 08 MS team -> 3 episodes of Stardust Memory -> War in the Pocket -> the compilation movies of the original series -> Back to Stardust Memory to finish it))

I didn't follow a guide because that felt too much like homework.

almost done with 79 gundam. for some reason the first anime i start in a year takes me forever to finish, ive been chipping away at it since like, february

ill probably watch something else in between it and zeta, but i do plan to do zeta and CCA eventually, and then stuff like war in the pocket/08 MS team

Opinions on the upcoming 3D Gundam ONA?

I’d be more interested if it wasn’t yet another “lost story of the one year war” like I understand people love early UC especially OYW stuff but considering the RX-78-2 was supposed to be “The Gundam” it’s funny how there’s always a “akshully” type of reason for why a side story that features a Gundam. At least in 08 MS Team and War in the Pocket it makes sense why those have Gundams, but other stuff it’s definitely half assed. Idk I also don’t care for a sympathetic Zeon perspective. It would be like trying to make you care about a Nazi soldier who was just “doin his duty.”

Long time g-fan, started with g-wing (and its "cough" slightly bent fandom) then when finally 0079 started airing I watched it too. Then the 08 ms team mini series, gawd gundam (aka g-fighter) . Bits and pieces of the universal timeline, up to chars counterattack, then poof nothing till iron blooded orphans, and HOPING that witch from mercury gets picked up by adult swim or day and date dubs on hulu

Ok so this wrong

Fake fan witch hunt is bullshit specially in a franchise like gundam. A franchise that has been making anime,movies,videogames,manga and toys constantly since 1979,its impossible to catch up to everything in this day and age.

Also,gwitch is an AU which means is newcomer friendly and you don't need prior knowledge of the history of the franchise to apreciatte it.

I know this is a small tumblr blog but this blog is against gatekeeping and everyone is welcome to check gwitch,any other entry of the franchise and ask questions about the franchise.

Personally,i've only watched classic UC stuff,G Gundam,the build series and in the middle of turn a right now and each of those shows are a long time investment since they are around 50 episodes long.

Mobile Suit Gundam The 08th MS Team Episode 6 Screens

Mikal faces off commander Shiro who seems obsessed with the mission and not his feelings. Shiro is also unaware about feelings from the girl kiki helping them.

I really like the scene where Mikal letter from his girlfriend gets read by Kiki and he realises that she is far from him in the war and resolves to survive. Kiki starts to feel sorry for Mikal and comforts him.

At the final battle Shiro gets trapped and gets carried along by the experimental Zaku which they planted an ambush.

Day 116: MS-07B3 Gouf Custom (Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th M.S. Team)

So I’m almost finished with the 08th MS team, and I. LOVE. The Gouf Custom. I love that it has voice commands, I love it’s giant black sword, and it’s cool finger shield. I hope it gets to do more than shoot guntanks! (No Spoilers Please!)

aaaaa I watched the movie/OVA versions for 0079 & Origin so I this is the first Gundam I'm watching that's formatted for TV! Short eppysodes!!! OPENING AND ENDING SONGS!!!!
