Teaching history in Gundam’s Universal Century timeline must be a huge pain in the ass because of Char Aznable. You’ll have a teacher explaining the history of the One Year War and the post war reconstruction era and then they’ll inevitably have to mention Char and I imagine the conversation goes like:

Teacher: “Char, born Casaval Rem Deikun, was a pivotal figure not just in the One Year War but in the reconstruction era that followed. He has had many aliases but for the sake of this class we’ll-“

Student raises their hand, shit eating grin on their face: “can you tell us some of the other names he had?”

Teacher, sighing deeply, knowing what’s about to happen: “During his time in the Anti-Earth Union Group he went by the alias of Quattro Bajeena.”

Student: “FOUR OF THEM???”

And then the entire class erupts in laughter and the teacher gives up the lesson for the day because there’s no coming back from that. Char, meanwhile, will look on from the grave and think to himself “heh, got another one”
