Photos of some of the flora of Mt. Guiting-Guiting Natural Park, including the endemic pitcher plant species Nepenthes sibuyanensis (3rd & 4th photo). I saw many wild orchids not yet in bloom so I was ecstatic to see one near the knife's edge. I wanted to take photos of the mountain's fauna as well but the dark purple butterflies with white spots along the trails and the civets at Mayo's Peak were so elusive to the camera. Or I just wasn't fast enough to get the phone as I watched these animals in awe. Descending the almost vertical wall, popularly called the 90° Wall. My 15kg bag went ahead with one of the porters. (Porter's comment afterwards: "Ma'am, solid pala sa bigat bag nyo?") Realization 1: At some point, you have to let go in order to move forward, i.e. descend this wall.
