i wish we saw more of their friendship with diane. everyone forgets she was the first to advocate for their lives during the kingdom infiltration arc. even jericho, who technically hadn't changed sides yet!

plus, her whole arc about memory loss was a consequence of fighting her friend to defend guila's autonomy. and look how cute this is.

My top 5 favorite romantic/platonic ships in Nanatsu no Taizai.

1. Gowther and Merlin (Platonic) someone who follows me knows they are my number one and number one forever. Neurodivergent siblings my beloved 💜🩷 they are just one hot sexy adhd lady and a cute autistic doll with pronouns, what more could you want?

2. Meliodas and Merlin (NOT romantic but not platonic either, I literally do not know) these are my 3000 year old depressed babies. I want the ANGST between these two, okay. Like bro I cannot with them it's too good, I have like 5+ unreleased angst, hurt no comfort fics with these two mfs.

3. King x Helbram. (Romantic) My doomed fairy yaoi. Brother I was OBSESSED with them, not as much anymore but I still frickin love them so much. UGHH the angst, the fluff?? PLZ I WANT IT. 💚

4. Jericho x Guila (romantic) before I got obsessed with Merlin, Jericho was my bae okay. And GOD they're so gay. Like plz plz WHY did Jericho have to go and become a pedophile. No i can't let that be canon, in my heart I just have to believe Jericho and Guila is my lesbian end game and not whatever the weird shit that's going on in 4kota.

5. Ban and Merlin (Platonic, but the crackship goes hard) I love how they are so opposite in like everything (except how they look cause they both tall, hot as fuck and can get me on my knees) they do seem to obviously respect each other though, or atleast trust each other's abilities. One of my favorite moments with them is when Merlin is battling Greyroad and everyone is like WHAT!?? And Ban is just smirking like that's my teammate.
