Hi! I have been looking a bit into otherkin related labels, and I am considering the possibility of being either dragonkin or dragonhearted, but I do not know which of the labels I would fall under, if either. I find it hard to tell whether I identify AS a dragon or WITH dragons. Firstly, I have sort of a sense that I should be a dragon, almost like i was born in the wrong kind of body, and oftentimes when i think about it i get a feeling that is similar to my gender dysphoria. - A (pt 1/4)

(continuing from pt 1) I also feel a strong i guess i would describe it as a pull towards dragons; generally favoring media that predominantly features dragons, and collecting several plushies, figures, and art of dragons, which always make me feel happy and to some degree a sense of connection. I also so badly yearn to do dragon things like flying through the clouds, for example. - A (pt 2/4)

As for draconic behavior, the main one i have specifically noticed is that I hoard things that are of value to me quite a lot. So, I'm not gonna tell you what or who you are, but I can tell you that you are describing textbook dragonkin experiences and if I'm perfectly honest, I think you may be overthinking it a little. Species dysphoria especially is not a typical otherhearted experience, nor is having draconic instincts or that kind of deep homesickness for the sky that you're describing. The other things could go either way, but then, they could theoretically also be "normal human" experiences in isolation - but taken together, you're describing an extremely typical dragonkin experience.

At this point in your questioning journey, since it seems like you've gone through a lot of the early stages of documenting what does and does not point you toward the label, my advice is honestly just this: don't be afraid to just try the label on and see how it feels. If it feels wrong in the end, you can always discard it later, but at a certain point, the only way to know if something fits right is to try it on. There's nothing wrong with being wrong.

Hopefully this helps some and gives you some reassurance if nothing else. (I've also got a questioning tag full of questioning advice, if you haven't already perused that.) Best of luck! <3

revamped daian’s profile! figured i’d use this post to talk more about him as well, just so his silly self doesn’t only exist in my brain and discord messages with my friends haha.

so!!! Daian (stylized as DAIAN⭑) is a recent graduate from Anakt Garden and a contestant in the upcoming 10th season of Alien Stage! Daian made his idol and public debut while he was still attending Anakt Garden, around the age of 15, and has since built up a strong following and fandom (referred to as METEORS) for both his solo music career and covers as well as his collaborations with other idols. Most of these idols happen to be his friends from Anakt Garden, though a few of them are from outside agencies like Eden Dreams or others.

Daian’s view of the world is very naive - his relationship with his guardian, The Fuggler (if you know me. yes it is that Fuggler. yes i know) is very sheltering - the Fuggler holds a lot of affection for him, and is thus very sheltering and protective of him, only allowing professional interactions with his schoolmates and personally vetted individuals and organizations - which, one of those organizations is a cult, but it’s hard to tell from a segyein perspective I guess. As a result of this, Daian has the idea that generally humans should be treated well, and has no clue about the death game nature of Alien Stage (an idea supported by the other humans around him not being willing to tell him about the realities of either their situations or the competition in general). He is always inclined to hear people out, and to try to accept people as they are, but he will absolutely not tolerate anyone attempting to insult, disrespect or harm his friends and family. Daian sees many of the humans around him as his close friends and family, and is particularly close to his found older brother, Kay ( @imperfectnothing) who he feels has helped make him, well, him, as well as Kay’s partner Aoki ( @lookatmysillies).

His personal interests lie in art - fashion design especially, reading and literature, and space and celestial bodies. Daian also has an interest in Earth history and culture, especially on the subject of martial arts and physical cultivation, which has grown and been supported by his guardian’s relationship with Scorpius, award winning astronomer and the guardian of Zen ( @verdantlights), another human Dai considers a brother.

That’s the basic lore of Daian - there’s more stuff in my head of course but this is like the bare bones character intro lmao, you’ll just have to wait and see as more of sona season ( @alnst-sona-season) comes out! hehehe

Gravity Falls Sona/Self-insert

I made a guy and ofc her backstory/half of her personality is tied to Bill lmaoo. @aria-greenhoodie This is partly your fault btw. You made me redo my old ass gfsona from months ago because of Curly being such a fun character and i figured i should make a fucked up guy too. Backstory under the cut.

Lex/The Skillstealer is a purple haired woman who's name is a placeholder name short for "Skil(l) ind(ex)",as a reference to her power absorbing ability as she doesn't know her actual name due to a certain triangle messing with her memories.

She can not only take supernatural powers but also general skills that people have such as fire powers or a violinist's talent,she often merges powers with skills which make her insane antics all the more entertaining.

For example; One time she stole a man's ridiculously good guessing ability/intuition and also some golden goose's midas touch,and then she used both of those abilities to correctly guess lottery numbers which is why she won a million dollars that she then turned into gold.

She lives in a big castle in some In Between Realm where space-time doesn't exist as it is an area outside of the timestream,which is why she never gets caught from her crimes as she escapes to the literal outside of space-time soon after causing a ruckus on Earth.

Her castle is maintained by herself as she uses a speed god's super speed to swiftly clean the place and her rewinding ability from a clock being to fix anything that's broken there. Lex is fully aware of how powerful she is,but she only uses her ability to prank or hurt others because "Where's the fun in power when i can just mess with those humans?",in her own words.

However such power was only obtained after so much pain,and loss. When she was eight years old,Lex lost everything after Bill destroyed her dimension Suburbia (a medieval world with no war no drama no pain only peaceful farmer humans and plant people) by burning everything to the ground and then he also killed her parents while kidnapping her soon afterwards.

He killed her parents because he wanted to see what it would be like to break such a happy person living in a happy go lucky world. Soon after kidnapping her,Bill forced the girl to become one of his Henchmaniacs as the only human one out of a group of freaky monsters and then he gave her advanced weaponry to help him destroy and conquer worlds as well as kill people,and she did as told as he threatened to torture her or feed her to Teeth if she didn't obey.

Bill and Lex grew to have a babysitter child/friendship type relationship as the triangle found himself having to take care of the damn kid,actually letting her play in sandpits or hang out with other children just to keep her sane and or from whining. However,the girl eventually started to hate him as she slowly started to see how horrible her dear triangle babysitter is whenever she saw him mistreat the Henchmaniacs or torture innocents without hesitation,Bill didn't want his new little pawn (backstory happens pre canon. this happened like,a hundred years before Bill met Ford) to betray him one day so he decided to erase all of Lex's memories from before he kidnapped her and thus making her believe that he was the only one who cared after her parents supposedly abandoned her as well as making her only remember the fun times they had in laser tag earth playgrounds etc.

This instantly fixed the betrayal issue as Lex now believes that Bill is the only one who cares about her and she is now less hesitant about helping the isosceles conquer worlds and or kill innocent people as she knew it made her only friend happy. This act also made her forget her own name which is why she's only known as "Kid" by Bill in an attempt to not accidentally make her remember everything.

But then Bill got bored of the whole "Human Henchmaniac" thing so he decided to grab her soul and put it inside of a cane for five years just to play around with the concept of loose souls,Lex was fully conscious during this time which is why Bill deliberately tried to make her soul go through a living hell for his own amusement. He smacks the end of cane on the ground to get the Henchmaniacs' attention while knowing it hurts Lex,he swings it around not just to be dramatic but also to make Lex dizzy,and he has snapped that cane in half countless times just to torment the girl. He then later got bored of that too by the time the girl is now 13 and so he grabbed Lex's soul and forced it back into her body. The fact that her friend tormented her in a "I have no mouth but i must scream" situation for YEARS greatly betrayed her and made her hatred of the triangle from five years ago resurface into a bubbling rage,as she then tried to kill the triangle with his own weaponry that he summoned for her but then he warned her to not do that as he strangled her while making her promise to not try anything like that again lest she get hurt even more and also made her promise to keep serving him,and so she did as told as she kept serving the insane isoselces while still having a dormant anger toward him.

She kept killing others helping destroy and conquer worlds as well as torture innocents like usual,with no hesitation but she hates that she has to be that triangle's underling for the rest of her life. Then one day,she started to notice her body changing and not just in a puberty way,her body was LITERALLY changing as her limbs started to grow cracks on the surface. She then confronted Bill about this and he explained that whenever a soul is without a vessel for too long then the soul is forced back inside it's original vessel,it starts to make the vessel deteriorate as the vessel is used to being an empty husk and is thus now rejecting the soul and then it'll eventually fully reject the soul entirely as time goes on.

Either that or the soul starts to get corrupted from being separated from it's vessel for too long.

Bill knew this from the start when he was first going to grab Lex's soul,yet he did it anyway as he wanted to have fun regardless,this made the girl rightfully angry but she didn't do anything about it as she feared getting hurt by the triangle. Then the soul corruption started happening,as she started to become angrier and more chaotic and more sadistic,eventually starting to lose her conscience as the corruption took over her. She is now just as cruel as her master without any doubts or guilt over her behavior,the corruption turned her mind into a husk just as her body used to be.

Then things only got worse after she made a wish upon a shooting star to become powerful enough to overthrow her triangular master as she still hates him despite the triangle sparing her multiple times,and the wish was actually effective as she suddenly got her trademark Skill Stealing ability soon afterwards. She then decided to steal Bill's fire ability after he tried to blast a flame at her as "punishment" for not hanging out with the Henchmaniacs in his place,discovering that she can now fight against him without any fear,and she then proceeded to burn his eye while putting her hand on it,making him scream in agony as he begged for her to stop and she did but only if he let her go. And so he did.

Lex then went over to Earth after absorbing Bill's dimensional rift opening ability,deciding to live a new life with a new name,Lex. She then went on to become the world's mysterious menace as she started to gain abilities out of nowhere to terrorize others,and the press dubbed her to be the "Skillstealer" after someone witnessed her take an ability by literally absorbing it with her hands as their ability glowed in a bright line. And she found herself a new home after killing and replacing the owner of a Victorian castle by removing all the water in the person's body using her water manipulation power,dubbing it the Skillstealer Fortress.

Lex was living the dream,but then a few nightmares started to come back as she remembered her former friend/master Bill Cipher,she couldn't shake the thought of sparing him after everything he had done to her. So she immediately went to his location after she got word of his whereabouts from the Henchmaniacs as she confronted them about Bill when she teleported to the Nightmare Realm,with them telling her that he's in space prison now. She then began to torment him with burning electrocution acid squeezing him until he cracked and the like,finally managing to take revenge on her abuser as she torments him within the Theraprism over and over and over. hey so uh- mmMMmmMMm okay

stick with me here this is a very steam of thought post and typed out on a whim..................... as i approach fully changing everything as a whole. and with how much i already changed my username from jroxs12pone. im really thinking of changing it fully. cause the jrox part is still such a problem wordedly in a creative space especially with me about to go fully into marketing myself and getting such big projects on board. you know? i gotta figure it out now. cause all my accounts are currently wiped of all content. im at the easiest cross roads ill ever have to make this big decision.. the jrox part of my user has it is now and was when i made it, is a personal bit of thing. having been a changed variation of a childhood nickname from my dad. but jrox as is, doesnt fit well with me now? i guess... dont know how to phrase the problem. i have a username in mind that i really like that includes the pone aspect thats something more of what i would have chosen now if i had started my journey here and not then. i know a lot of people recognize the jrox part. quite literally, thousands, and that makes me a lil nervous. knowing so many people associate so intently with that and that changing it would cause problems. jrox is common in usernames, and gets confusing sometimes when reading it off or telling someone it. or just searching it up. but as well the fact that iv had so many iterations of it ,jroxs12, jroxs12pone-pegamom, jroxs12pone, jroxspone, jroxpone, that those confusing additions and different versions drifting around on so many posts and tags... that its just caused way too much struggle. many people know me as jrox, and probably will always. my nickname for so long has just been J, or rox, roxy. i've been trying over the last year to really cone it over to just 'pone' so maybe that would catch on better, at least on discord. i already updated my sona by a large margin to make her what i wanted for me now and not me then. i turned away from the 4th grader who made the design and finally made her for the adult that i am now and it made me feel better. i dont think holding onto the past is a good idea. especially if its something i think about often. things are not how they were back then. and the username isnt me anymore. thats why i surgically stitched on the "pone" aspect in attempt to really make it feel good. and it worked for a while.. but it just makes me think more about how its not what i want.

maybe its time, that i become me and not who i was? because i think the more i pretend the more i lose track of who i even am right now and that could be a bad muck of problems...

guess the biggest question is, no matter how fucked up i am in the end. will people be along for the ride? probably, and i guess i should stop thinking too hard and just do it if i'm gonna do it....

Okay okay back with more Bandit questions and observations now!!! Hi!!! First off, what's the model of his gun? Literally just curious, really doesn't mean anything unless I feel like drawing it lmao. Secondly, what's his thoughts on the people in power/the guardians + the queen (I'm lumping the Judge into the guardians)? You said he won't work when he can survive well on his own, but does his dislike stretch out to even wishing harm on the guardians? Actually, does he know if a guardian dies, their Zone dies, too? How knowledgeable is he on the world of OFF's lore and how it functions?? Thirdly, does he have any friends I should know about? You drew him interacting with Project Goldfinch/Just Finch to break up the text in my first ask, what's their relationship? Does Bandit scam him to hell and back, or do they just casually chat every now and then? Fourthly, I VERY BRIEFLY checked out Ask Bandit and here are some observations I made: Uno, how come you ship him with Red from Animal Crossing? Is it cuz they both steal and resell?? If so, that's hilarious and I love your sense of humor. Dos, when drawing him with Elsen 7 I did not know Bandit currently resides in Zone Three, because 7 lives in Zone One. This whole time I was under the impression he travels through Zones for some reason lol? I guess that's my curse of having a handful of ECU Elsen that do that themselves lmao. Last but not least, not something Ask Bandit related, just generally speaking, would you like to see any future doodles I make of Bandit, whether he's interacting with my own OCs or otherwise? I modeled Bandit's gun after a Glock?? Kinda?? I didn't really reference a specific model, more like loosely inspired. I probably should create a prop-reference for it, but I haven't yet.

Bandit's dislike for authority does not stretch to wanting to take out the guardians. It would be counter-intuitive to his role as a merchant to kill off his customers by killing off the guardians. Bandit cares too much about profit, and although the guardians are annoying, without them he wouldn't have profit.

Bandit is fully aware on how the world of OFF works, it's inner workings, and other meta things.

Bandit will say anyone is his friend, even if they clearly hate him. Louis would be the only one that would truly think of Bandit as a friend (except maybe my elsen-sona, but they're a mary-sue type oc and should probably not be counted if we're talking in-universe/story lol)

As Finch is the protagonist in my game concept, Bandit will be the merchant selling them items. Finch is distrusting of Bandit, but sees him as a necessity in their mission. I do have an idea where Bandit does steal something from Finch to propel the plot, but who knows if that'll stay in the final lol

Bandit x Redd is a joke ship created by @brandy-elsen (tagging the account it was posted on and not your current account because I do not wanna waste a tag on this I am sorry Brandy AHHSGFG). All the credits to her for the comedic genius. I think you guessed right as to why that ship exists tho. I just drew it for that post because it met the "two pieces of fanart" criteria I set.

Bandit travels the zones, your initial assumption was right. He is only in Zone 3 on the askbandit blog because of the story being told on there. He's gotta refill his stock of sugar manually since sugar happens to be one of the things he cannot magically pull from his pack.

I would love to see future doodles you make of Bandit! I like collecting all the fanart I get and posting it (with credits/links) to his gallery on toyhouse.

Project: IYKYK bts, Spoilers Beware if you even care lol. Rambles about the general project, if you want specific characters/songs look in the tag

Okay so plans are, an over arching story broken up into little stories. The videos can be viewed independently and still be entertaining, I think I have 2 songs per character, at least you can watch just the character and get their story.

ALSO! Each character has a specific style, art style, style of video to tell the story, and maybe they show up in the other styles as well when there is cross overs :3

As of right now, there are 4 characters (5 if you include myself, but there's not really a story there more just an intro and outro to the series. These vids will probably be confusing and maybe not that interesting but whatever XD Idc)

Each character does in fact tie in with one another!! even if it's in weird round about ways and sometimes won't be shown on screen and is just a tidbit for me to know :P

I pulled all the designs from my old Sonas and Oc's (That are basically self inserts at this point), for reasons. (Look it's basically me telling my life story through fiction to keep it somewhat detached) Though they're getting vague make overs and story revamps. I also pulled these specific characters as representations for specific points in my life, the original creation date and the mental state I was in during those times.

I tried to choose songs that resonated with me and I listen to a lot, but I had to scratch a bunch of songs, and find some new ones I've never listened to. But it worked out and I found new songs I like! Was originally gonna have a lot more Brightside Album songs by the Lumineers and Tame Impala songs but it did not work out. I'm just glad I was able to get 1 brightside song in there. Even if it sounds vaguely out of place. The playlist may change overtime too as I flesh out these stories more.

While I work on the videos, I am planning on making still pieces to go along with the stories. Thumnails, posters, just like scenes in general. Whatever pops into my head. Though thinking about it posters would be cool af. Also I have more experience making still pieces that moving ones. But my brain works in movement so weird balance I have to walk.

The styles I came up with will probably be more bare bone for the video parts, just to save time and my sanity XD

Basically this entire project is for me to strengthen my redesigning and writing muscles. As well as bring a piece of work to completion that is completely my own. AND work through my own problems or i guess, release myself from them. It's my final send off to that chapter of my life. Two birds one stone :) Or should I say mountain cause this really is a huge project (in comparison to what I've done in the past) INTRO/OUTRO: Intro song: Pyramid Song by Radiohead

Introduces moi, starts in reality to a dream state, from here it introduces the main sonas and situations briefly, with hints that these people are in fact representations of myself.

Concludes the story arc, leaving the fantasy of these events behind to face the reality of these events. To be myself, and not hide behind fiction and convoluted metaphors of my own emotions. Waking up from that dream.
