Calliope Women’s Chorus is the second oldest feminist chorus in the country. It is a nonprofit that believes in building community through song. We are QUEER friendly! That includes trans people both binary and nonbinary. We call ourselves a women’s chorus because it’s a legacy name, if you can sing treble and make rehearsal then you can sing with Calliope! We also try to make both our rehearsal spaces and concert venues as accessible as possible.

I'm super curious to know what your favorite tf2 works are and what your inspiration for going through the motions was!

I'll start with the inspiration first because I have a feeling that's going to be a lot shorter than my favourite works (Spoiler alert: there's a lot)

I think any artist no matter the medium will tell you they take inspiration from a wide variety of sources.

For GTTM I took inspiration from the movie Your Name, the TV show Infinity Train, the audio drama Wolf 359, the dnd podcast Dungeons and Daddies (Not a BDSM Podcast), and a bunch of other TV shows, movies, novels, podcasts and what have you (Seriously if I tried listing off every book that I took writing inspiration from, we'd be here for days).

Infinity Train was one of the biggest inspirations (that I didn't even realise at the time of writing), as the plot centres on a fantastical train that picks passengers up and forces them to confront their emotional issues if they want to find their way home. Sounds a bit like a certain time loop, doesn't it?

I also recommend watching Your Name if you ever get the chance! It's a really beautiful movie and the plot hits you so hard out of nowhere. It's one of those movies where the major plot twist is one of the best parts and I can't describe it without ruining it. Just go watch it!

Wolf 359 was one of my favourite audio dramas to listen to as a teenager and I still recommend it to this day. All I can say is that I think my love of plot twists and their executions were heavily influenced by Wolf 359.

As for my favourite TF2 works, I'm going to say that The Winglet's The Fedora Chronicles on YouTube is one of my favourite TF2 animations.

There are so many TF2 fics I enjoy so I'll try to give the short version (and without NSFW fics) haha

As you can kinda see, I really don't have a particular theme for my favourite fics. They all vary in their pairings, plots and ratings. As long as they capture my interest, I'm sold haha.
