In lieu of Free Day Friday (didn't have time this week 😭) I offer a very silly comic I drew
Premise: in Jak 3, is Damas's "death scene", it's fairly obvious that just his legs are pinned because 2003 software constraints I guess. Brain said "what if they'd brought him into Jak X without retconning the end of Jak 3 at all?" And this is what resulted
GT Blitz on pre-recorded video: "This is it, folks! The holy grail of tracks: the Arena of Death!"
Keira: "I'm sorry, Jak. I know it must be hard, being back in Spargus after losing your father."
(Her speech bubble is only partially visible because Jak is distracted when the footage switches to live)
Sig and approaching Wastelanders: "Hey! Let me see that camera for a sec."
GT Blitz: "We'll be right back folks-"
Sig (pulling camera lens towards him): "Jak, you better have a really good reason for running of to Kras now, of all times!"
Sig on the tv: "Don't run, kid. He's already there."
Keira: "Um...Jak?"
Jak: "ah...should've called, I guess...Still. What's he going to do? Call my da-"
(Door slams open)
Damas: "YOU."
Jak, Keira, and Daxter: "I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!"
#atla gave me some hilarious faces to use as reference#my art#jak and daxter#dadmas#king damas#gt blitz#keira hagai#jak x combat racing#jnd sig#seriously they wouldn't even have to change how 3 ended. just have Jak so distraught he didn't check for a pulse#Sig catches up and gets Damas airlifted and he's stuck in the hospital the whole last act of the game#he didn't find out about the time loop until he was off pain meds and Onin blabbed...right as Jak left for Kras#he's a little tetchy about that

"MGB-GT" (Tork), live in Toronto on July 12, 1986; footage courtesy of assneck2007.
Q: “During the early dates of the 1986 Monkees tour, you performed one of your new compositions, MGB-GT. Will this song be included in the next Monkees album? Peter Tork: “I don’t know. I would like to. We’ll see. That was then, this is now!” Q: “From what sources do you draw your songwriting inspirations?” PT: “Sometimes just a phrase or a word catches my fancy. Then I hear a musical line. I try to figure out what kinds of sounds are coming out. Basically I just go by the sound. Then I try to find words that sound like they belong there.” - Blitz!, November/December 1987 “As far as I’m concerned, a lot of what I like is not commercial. But I’m bored silly by some long, long guitar or drum solo. I don’t know where anybody would get the idea that I’d rather be a bore than to have things concise. I’m an artist, and an artist must tear his work down to the bare bones. There is no room for exces in real art. As far as I’m concerned, excess is self-indulgence. That is, the narrow, limited, individualized self. Not the greater, glorious self that we all partake of. […] I love a good hook! I don’t write them very often, but I love them. I don’t intend to be self-indulgent.” - Peter, Blitz!, May-June 1980 “MGB-GT,” of course, went on to be included on Stranger Things Have Happened; more on that next month during a special series shining a spotlight on the album.

JZA70
Big single turbine transforms the car into a powerful one, making it the fastest Supra for city riding.
GT-R, Silvia, 180SX and RX7
It is hidden behind,
Yes, there aren't that many, but this
JZA70 Supra is also a popular car as a tune base. In the case of the Supra, tunes that aim for big power are popular due to its character. This 1992 Supra is also the original
It is the highest speed specification that squeezes out so-called top power, changing from a twin turbo to a big turbine. A large intercooler installed in the front section efficiently removes piping from the turbine.
It is pinged. It is important to keep the intercooler piping as short as possible to minimize resistance, and this is done well in the case of this Supra.
I received big power again
For this reason, a metal reinforced clutch is installed.
It has a heavy steering feel, but once you get used to it, you can ride it around town without any difficulty. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to fully open the accelerator and try out the full power, but the accelerator response was good and it wasn't difficult to handle even at low speeds. Finishing of the engine room Even just looking at it, I could feel its high level of perfection. The crossed legs of the coilover
The surroundings also feel good.
The interior has a nice steering wheel.
It has been changed to Italvolante, and the center console has Blitz's twin SBC and turbo timer built in, but it doesn't feel like a big turbine is installed. The exterior also catches the eye with the air scoop on the bonnet and the air intake for Turbo A, but the rest is just a book.
The traditional form is being utilized.
PIC CAPTIONS
●The special all-stainless muffler produces a thick exhaust note. When you step on the accelerator, you can experience the intense surge of torque that only a big turbine can provide.
●The air duct for Supra's Turbo A is installed by modifying the bumper. The cooling efficiency of the large intercooler installed inside has been increased. An air scoop is also installed on the hood.
●The original twin turbo, which emphasizes response, was changed to a large single turbo with big power, and the engine room has been seriously tuned and is beautifully finished.

Hi I got more questions about the starburst duo!
1: what’s their favorite video games?
2: what is their favorite anime and/or cartoons?
3: Chris has a brotherly/uncle relationship with Kon-El/Conner, what’s Jake’s relationship like with Kon-el?
4: you know how in some movies and tv shows a pair of best friends would get into a fight and act like: “your not my best friend anymore!” And towards the end they get back together, has that happen before between the two of them?
5: what’s the rouge galley for the both of them?
Silly question :p
6: on a scale of 1-10, how likely are they gonna aim for the crotch against a dude villain/goon? Speaking of that what’s their reaction seeing that stuff in movies like how in the first kung fu panda movie Po got hit in the tenders?
(Cracks Fingers while grinning wildly)
Back for more I see, my friend? Very well then…
1) In no particular order, they’d like (in spite of Dick and Lois having some second thoughts in allowing them for playing M Rated titles)
Mortal Kombat
Blitz The League
Cuphead
Dark Souls
Asura’s Wrath,
and perhaps their all time favorite,
The Rockband series (out of them, The Beatles Rockband being their top one. Chris can do both Vocals and Bass while Jake does Drums and Harmonies)
2) Dragon Ball…basically all of Dragon Ball. Whether it’s The OG, Kai, GT, or the upcoming Daima, they’ll be lined up in their best shirts that are either patterned after Piccolo’s outfit or have the Z Fighters on it with their snacks by their side on the couch and engage with an all night marathon of episodes and films. Their favorite character is unanimously Son Gohan
3) Those two get along as good friends though from Jake hears about Conner courtesy of his Uncle Tim and ‘Aunite’ Cassie, whenever Conner inevitably screws up with trying to win a girlfriend off the streets with his egotistical charms and attitude, Jake gleefully takes the chance for snarking about that screw up, much to Conner’s conniption.
Aside from that though, the two make it a sworn oath on working together for making sure Chris is safe and secure from the threats even he’s too great to handle, whether externally or especially his own internal ones including tendencies of low self esteem and fears of abandonment. Conner and Jake are there for him no matter what
4) Much to even their own surprise, not exactly. Yes, there have been moments the two have gone separately from each other before reuniting in full but the thing is, they never had said to each other that they’re no longer friends. They’re never actively taking pot shots or any sort of bad mouth each other even during their lowest points in their friendship.
In fact, it’s because of their close friendship, it’s how they’re able to communicate the message of “Hey Man, I really like to hang out with you but I don’t if it’s the right time right now. Maybe a little later? Still love ya as a friend btw” with little to no words whether it’s face to face or via phone texts. They have mutual respect and understanding of those moments and take their time.
Once they have a chance though, like say in the middle of a crisis or few, they’ll rush to each other’s aid and make up for it once it’s all said and done. Even in a hypothetical Civil War between all the superheroes which has the two in opposite sides would have a similar pattern between them.
5) I once answered this in a earlier ask but I feel like it’s the perfect time for a sort of expansion to that list. Some names here would be old classics while maybe one or two would be OCs of mine for villains.
General Dru Zod (Chris’ birth father and somewhat arch nemesis due to his….very tough love approach to put it very very mildly think of their relationship akin to say Omni Man and Invincible)
Mr Victor Zsasz (Jake’s own Gotham based arch enemy due to a particular case involving street orphans and urchins forcibly fighting a gladiator style tournament to the death and Jake facing Zsasz face to face at the climax of said case, a duel involving a rather brutal beat down since Jake’s powers were shut down briefly that includes a sharp blade and that old damned crowbar)
The Gordanians (Since Jake’s mother is Kory aka Starfire, it should be pretty self explanatory and easy to understand his dislike for these particular aliens)
Deathstroke the Terminator (Similar enough reason to the Gordanians only in this case it’s via what he done to Dick throughout the years as a Titan, whether it includes the forced apprenticeship or other misdeeds)
The Court of Owls (not only due to both Mar’i and Jake being offsprings of the ‘Gray Son’ but they also can sense Chris somehow being a unique sort that distinguishes him from the other Kryptonians (I.e. his unique physiology courtesy of his birth in the Phantom Zone and being a host for the Nightwing entity) that they can claim for themselves, an evolutionary step in their arsenal of Talons)
Cinderblock (The big dumb concrete lug frequently challenges Chris and Jake for a challenge in Bludhaven’s streets which they’re all too happy to take. He’s fun for them to take on)
Xa Du, The Phantom King (As the main ruler of the Phantom Zone himself, he naturally sees Chris as an obstacle to his own path of universal domination)
(And time for some OCs I have in mind)
NKVDemon (an ex-Spetznaz and apprentice of the KGBeast though his goals and methods are far more grand and widespread in comparison than his mercenary teacher’s. While not a cyborg like KGBeast or enhanced like Deathstroke, he’s dangerously intelligent, at peak human condition and utterly ruthless to the core)
Lion Master (a constantly bullied street orphan who ran to join a traveling circus where became the apprentice of an old kindly lion tamer, it all truly went downhill during one performance at Ivy Town when due to a simple mistake on his part, the kid ended up causing the old tamer’s unfortunate demise in front of the crowds, leading to him being kicked out of the circus he called home and the lions ordered in being out down. Not willing to see the felines he can call his friends meet their ends, the orphan frees the four big cats. Now with nothing left to lose and returning to the streets once more, the old tanner’s apprentice turns to a life of petty crime with his four kings of the jungle by his side and at his beckon command; competing his transformation into the Lion Master. Has a beef yet also somewhat a bond with Skybird due to their own connections to the circus yet Skybird and Nightwing ‘Phantom’ always foil his crimes)
La Llorona (‘The Weeping Woman’ herself; the Duo once encountered her during a vacation their families were taking in Mexico. A one time antagonist who they actually were able to communicate with in order to help her find peace with them but certainly a memorable one)
The monkeys and undead guardians of El Dorado (Ling story incredibly short, Time Travel shenanigans had Chris and Jake land in the a time lopping ancient city of gold with these monkeys and zombified warriors attacking the intruders almost every step of their way within their adventure to escape)
Vla-Bol (A Kryptonian juvenile delinquent who led an equivalent of a street gang doing all sorts of petty crimes and ruled their city streets/Hallways with an iron fist. At first, The Kryptonian High Coucil had Vla drafted into basically boot camp under the command of an ancestor of a certain Kryptonian General, Grand Admiral Gro-Zod. Unfortunately for Vla, despite or maybe because of taking the Admiral’s teachings and philosophy to heart, he went on committing plenty of bad conduct and failed to hold back his fury during war time as a Private. For this misconduct, Vla-Bol was banished to the Phantom Zone at the age of only 14 years, swearing vengeance on the House of Zod for this indignity. It just centuries later and once he finally is able to leave the Zone and find planet Earth, there happens on being a descendent of the old Admiral, Lor Zod aka Chris. Vla-Bol is an utter show off and Grade A jerk who flaunts his powers without any hesitation or second thought. Powers that are surprisingly deviant from standard Kryptonian ones as while yes he can fly, lift extremely heavy objects and exhibit super human speeds, for one he relies on Moonlight to fuel them. Also, in place of heat vision and x ray vision, Vla-Bol instead can make copies of himself composed of shadows and summon dark energy from the Zone itself, capable of leveling entire city blocks at the palm of his hands)
(*Phew* I think that should do it lol)
6) Chris: 3, Clark taught him well enough to not resort to dirty tricks in fighting his opponents
Jake: 10, Being raised in Bludhaven by Nightwing and having Red Hood as an Uncle….it’s pretty obvious he would fight dirty like they can lol
As for their reactions, both of them would giggling at those moments.
Okey Dokey, I’m pretty sure that’s a plenty for my answers, Anon
If there’s any suggestions to add or constructive criticisms, please Reblog/Reply. It’ll be very appreciated ;-)

Dragon Ball GT 57
✨GT Stands For Gross Touching✨
✨"Good" "Ideas", Poorly Executed✨
Last time, Goku claimed he could defeat Eis Shenron in five seconds, but he failed to consider Eis’ willingness to use Pan as a shield.
He freezes Goku again, but this time Goku breaks loose, which he explains by saying that he memorizes every technique that he encounters, so because Eis got him with it in Episode 56, he’s prepared for it this time. That’s really stupid, because Eis zapped him with the freeze ray several times in Episode 56, and Goku just stood there like a goof and got zapped. Yet he has the gall to say he won’t fall for the same trick twice.
So then Eis starts pleading for mercy, which leads to this shot, which is kind of interesting. Not because of this episode or its story, though. This is just another example of Goku falling for the same trick twice, because Mercenary Tao and Frieza begged for mercy years ago, and Goku still hasn’t figured out that bad guys will feign surrender to catch him off guard.
No, it’s interesting because there was a semi-famous image going around in 2014, with Goku in some sort of Golden Super Saiyan 4 form, and Beerus was the one pleading for mercy. This looked authentic enough to seem official, and while I’m not sure how many people believed it was real, it sort of represents this last gasp of the “Dragon Ball AF Culture” in the fandom. Nowadays, it’s a lot easier to find out what’s really going on in Japan, but back in the early 2000′s there were all sorts of rumors flying around, and it was hard to know what was real and what wasn’t. So if a fan artist was talented enough to redraw an obscure scene from GT, they could conceivably convince other fans that their Goku redesign was going to appear in an upcoming work.
But back to Eis, he offers to surrender his Dragon Ball, and begs Nuova to speak on his behalf, and Nuova actually does. The thing is, I’m pretty sure Eis can’t exist without his Dragon Ball, so this offer is kind of pointless. But just as Goku agrees to let him go...
Eis slashes at Goku’s face with some sort of icicle claw attack? The effects are pretty clear. Goku is blinded for the next couple of episodes, and also that building in the background gets cut in half.
What’s less clear is what exactly Eis did to Goku’s eyes. Considering how that building turned out, you’d think Eis cut Goku up really bad, kind of like what Zorin Blitz did to Seras Victoria in Hellsing, but that’s a bit too gruesome for GT. Or maybe the ice claws just froze Goku’s corneas or something? That’s more consistent with the ice gimmick.
It doesn’t really matter, because when Eis tries to finish Goku off, Goku just punches a hole in his chest and insta-wins. I mean, duh. This episode is Goku’s 501st appearance on television. One thing we’ve learned about the guy over and over again is how sharp his senses are. He can track scents like a bloodhound, and detect objects and people by sound and the feel of subtle movements in the air. And his ki senses let him detect just about any powerful warrior in the area. Blinding Goku is practically useless, and it seems like the Shadow Dragons are the only ones who don’t understand this. The audience sure as hell knew, so I don’t know why this was presented like some suspenseful moment.
So Goku follows up with a Super Dragon Fist which killerizes Eis and removes all the ice on the city they’re in. Convenient.
Goku tries washing his eyes to clear his vision, but it doesn’t work. So did Eis like... throw dust in his eyes or something like that? Then a bottle drops into his hand, and it turns out Nuova is the one who’s giving it to him. He says it’s “medicine” that will heal Goku’s eyes. Wait, why the fuck would Nuova Shenron just have that with him? Was he expecting something like this to happen?
I think the writers just wanted to make it clear what a sporting guy Nuova was, but it’s kind of weird that he would have eye medicine handy. Also, there’s no obvious trauma to Goku’s eyes, so I really have no idea what the medicine is supposed to do. This feels more like some sort of Solar Flare deal, where Goku just saw a really bright light and he needs time to recover. And maybe that’s what Eis did to him, except why did it cut a building in half?
The bigger problem here is that this blindness angle carries on for a while longer, except it doesn’t really slow Goku down that much, and then it clears up on its own a short time later. So this whole bit just seems like a total mess. They wanted to do something to raise the stakes, but they failed to think it through or make it mean anything.
Anyway, Nuova offers to withdraw until Goku has recovered, and they can fight again later, but before he leaves, another Shadow Dragon shows up and attacks. He destroys the medicine and takes down Nuova. Then he shoots again, and Nuova knocks Goku out of the way and sacrifices himself to save him.
So this is Syn Shenron, the One-Star Dragon, and now the last one of the set. He’s also the strongest one, and apparently he had enough of Nuova’s half-assed babyface routine, and of Eis’ half-assed Memphis heel shtick. He reminds Goku that he was the one who made the Shadow Dragons possible, and this is all his fault, but that’s dumb. Most of the wishes Goku and his friends made on the Dragon Balls were for the sake of restoring the Earth from great cataclysms. I’ve never understood the Shadow Dragons’ sanctimony. They berate Goku for overusing the Dragon Balls, then threaten to destroy the world. Instead of complaining to him, they should be thanking him for giving them life and purpose. Or if they actually care about the world, they could just stay their hand and give Goku a pass. But pick one and go with it.
✨Positivity Page✨
So they fight for a bit, but Syn turns out to be in a whole other class of power. Goku suddenly finds himself running for cover, and struggling to keep up, a lot like he was doing against Oceanus and Nuova, except this time he’s doing it as a Super Saiyan 4, which makes his desperation much easier to believe.
Goku manages to lie low and ambush Syn with a 10x Kamehameha, and it doesn’t do anything. Worse, Syn replies with his own 10x Kamehameha, and completely wrecks Goku’s shit.
Pan sort of wanders around in a stupor, and when she sees Goku hanging upside down like this, she screams in abject terror. See, this is how they should have been doing it all along. They blew through six other Shadow Dragons and finally figured it out on the seventh.
See, the way these Dragon Ball arcs work, you’d have a group like the Shadow Dragons, and Goku might take on the first one, and everyone assumes he’ll be okay, but then he barely survives the fight, and it turns out that it took everything he had to beat the weakest one. That’s how it went with the Saiyans Saga, the Androids Saga, and so on. Haze should have beaten Super Saiyan 4 Goku to a pulp, and only a last-ditch maneuver would have won the day. Then Goku would return to the others and tell them how bad things really are. Yeah, he’s a a Super Saiyan 4, but just one SSJ4 isn’t enough.
And that would lead to a hurried effort to get some reinforcements onto the field. Not just SSJ4 Vegeta, but Gohan as well. Suddenly SSJ3 Gotenks sounds pretty handy, huh?
But no, GT refuses to take the focus off of Goku, so they did this stupid arc where most of the Shadow Dragons were pathetic twerps and Goku takes them all on by himself. Everyone else just sits at home and hopes he’s doing okay. But it ends up turning out the same way as what I just proposed.
Because now Pan is pleading for the rest of Dragon Team to show up and save Goku. Hey, that’s fine, but we should have skipped straight to that on the FIRST Shadow Dragon, not the LAST one. Then we could have had seven OP bad guys taking on seven good guys: Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, Goten, Uub and Pan. And all seven of them would have to push themselves beyond their limits just to stand a chance. It’d be awesome. And we could have been doing that for the past nine episodes instead of watching Rage Shenron defeat himself, or Pan getting possessed by a giant mole.
Wait, I forgot about Bulla. Oh man, can you imagine if the good guys were getting clobbered and then Bulla just shows up and blindsides a Shadow Dragon in the head? I don’t think Bulla and Pan would dominate a conflict like this, but the point is that you could still have them jump ahead a few levels and actually put up a fight. Nuova knocked Pan in Episode 54 just to keep her out of his way. I’d much rather see him knock Pan out because he’s got SSJ4 Gohan to worry about, and he’s afraid of SSJ3 Pan shooting a ki blast at him while he’s not looking.
Well, no point crying for what should have been...
✨Is This Episode Worse than "The Roaming Lake"?✨
I give this one a lot of credit for actually having plenty of things happen. Unlike the last several episodes, this one has a lot on its to-do list. We have no fewer than three Shadow Dragons in this one, so we need to kill off two of them and introduce the third. And, mercifully, Syn Shenron is aggressive enough to just attack instead of making long-winded speeches. It fits, because he came here to find Goku, so this isn’t like when Goku finds one of the others and asks them what they’re up to.
So this is a lot like Episode 19, where it still kind of blah, but at least it’s not slow and dull. So it approaches “Roaming Lake” levels of quality, but I still think it falls short. Here’s why.
First, the Eis Shenron fight was disappointing. I get that he’s a dirty cheater, but he’s also supposed to be at least as powerful as Nuova Shenron, who’s presented as a match for SSJ4 Goku. So you would think that Eis would put up more of a fight than he did. Instead, Goku powers through Eis like he’s no big deal, and Eis really has nothing left to do but cheat. He does the fake surrender thing just like Rage and Naturon, and he uses Pan and Nuova as shields, just like Naturon. We already saw Goku defeat Rage and Naturon, and those fights sucked. Why are we doing this crap again?
Second, the death of Nuova is pretty hollow to me. We’ve only had the guy around for four episodes, and one of them was the Vegeta clip show, so he was barely in it. We’re supposed to miss this guy, but why, exactly? Because he was halfway decent towards Pan? Because he freed Goku from the ice, then gave him the medicine for his eyes?
Look, if Nuova were truly a good dude, then he could have stepped in and rescued Pan from Eis’s various efforts to use her as a hostage. He could have also stepped in and attacked Eis rather than just standing around and waiting for Goku to overcome his dirty tricks. Nuova tried to dance on either side of the battle line, and that doesn’t make him a hero or some kind of tragic figure. It just makes him a shitty villain. Goku might miss his ass, but I sure don’t.
Third, Syn’s appearance does raise the stakes, but it does it in a very formulaic way. We see him stalking Goku through this amusement park, but it’s very similar to the way the other Shadow Dragons would push Goku around in past episodes. The only difference is that in those earlier episodes, Goku was in base mode, so you knew he could always turn SSJ4 if he was really in a pinch. This time he’s already in Super Saiyan 4, and he’s still on the backfoot.
On paper, that’s fine, but in practice, it just makes this whole fight look very, very familiar. They just took the same tactics from the other episodes and translated it to a higher power level. There’s nothing new about Syn’s tactics or attitude here. Things will improve a little in the episodes to come, but for this episode, Syn vs. Goku doesn’t feel very special.
And that’s a big problem for the Shadow Dragons Saga as a whole. These episodes all tend to run together, because it’s a lot of the same visuals and character motivations, and a hero who keeps screwing around instead of tackling the villain. So even when the hero is finally forced to try harder, it still falls flat because it looks exactly like it did when he was screwing around.
Also, the music and aesthetics of these episodes is just the pits. I hate the GT score, and I hate this hazy sky always being in the background of every shot, and Syn isn’t exactly winning me over with his design.
So the Roaming Lake wins again, 58-0. This episode put up a decent fight, but it’s not ending the streak. At this point, I’m beginning to think nothing can.

IPL 2024: MS Dhoni or Sameer Rizvi, who should be CSK’s finisher? Sidhu makes his pick
Former India cricketer turned commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu understood that CSK need to give opportunities to Sameer Rizvi and back him as the finisher for the franchise. MS Dhoni turned back the clock with his blazing knock of 37 runs from 16 deliveries against Delhi on March 30, Sunday. However, touted as one of the best finishers, the former CSK captain couldn’t guide his team to a win as CSK suffered their first loss of IPL 2024 against DC by 20 runs.
Answering to a question by Indiatoday.in on Star Sports Press Show, Sidhu said that a talent is nothing without opportunity. He felt the team needed to give that confidence to Rizvi, on whom the franchise shelled out a Rs 8.40 crore in the IPL 2024 auction.
“Talent is nothing without opportunity. You have to give youngsters opportunity. One is giving opportunity and the other thing is the player accepting the challenge. You have got to give Rizvi that confidence,” Sidhu said.
He heaped praise on Dhoni for his ability to bring the best out of the players and instilling that faith to make full use of their abilities.
“The same player isn’t that strong in the other team, but when he comes to Dhoni, he becomes a completely different player, how? Because a good leader is the one who walks behind him and ignites faith,” Sidhu added.
Rizvi announced his arrival in the biggest cricketing extravaganza with a massive six off Rashid Khan’s delivery during the match against GT at Chepauk. The uncapped Indian player smashed a quick-fire 14 from 6 balls to make a crucial contribution to the team’s total.
However, the youngster couldn’t replicate his performance in the match against DC as he was dismissed for a golden duck during CSK’s stiff chase of 192 runs. Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja shared an unbeaten stand of 51 runs from 23 deliveries, but their late blitz wasn’t enough to help the team cross the finishing line. Sidhu acknowledged that Dhoni has got nothing to prove and will look to unlock the next gen's potential.
"A drop of honey catches more flies than a gallon of vinegar. So, therefore, fitting people in their rightful place is what is most important. Dhoni is an asset, when he bats and finishes. Jadeja and Dhoni, one plus one is 11. They are multiplying their strength. Dhoni has nothing to prove. The biggest strength of a leader is that he builds future leaders. He will actually unlock potential for the youngsters."
Sidhu talked about the importance of finishers in the sport and how their contributions in the death overs could prove to be a make or break for the team’s result.
“The bigger challenge is not batting at No. 3 or No. 4, the bigger challenge is when you bat for the last six overs, the last 7 overs. That is the time when you are really tested, why? That’s when you are going to be scoring 1 ball, 3 runs. 1 ball, 2 and a half. This skill is in a very few people. I am telling you, it's not easy to be a finisher. You are not getting accolades, but it’s the quality of those runs, which actually helps the team win or lose,” Sidhu said.
CSK will look to bounce back as they face Hyderabad in their next match of the season on April 5, Friday.
