Oh and at some point, prolly around the independence day, ima watch Edvin Laine's film adaptation for the first time in years, and I've never seen the 80's film so I gotta watch that one too at some point... and I feel like I might have to rewatch the TV series as well some time soon because it was just that good and I miss that version of Lehto like hell he was so fuckingkgjgjgbftuh hjfhgvrtv grr grrrr grrc fhfvfcvcbbbbj girl of my dreams. and the uni assignment I'm doing on the fandom connecting to the war through transformative works is also a thing that's gonna happen, so. no end in sight lmao

Hello! An OC fact: One of my characters is named Faiza Jameela Kareem, which separately mean: successful, beautiful, and honorable. However, she goes by her middle name because her wife insists on it. Jameela doesn't see herself as beautiful, so her wife now exclusively refers to her as Jameela and everyone else picked up the name as well. So now she's known near universally as 'beautiful'

This is the sweetest thing!!!!! What a wonderful wife.

My characters’ names aren’t quite that significant, but Gabriel went through a few name changes. I eventually landed on Gabriel for a few reasons, one being that I liked how it gave him and August a subtle summer/winter dynamic.
